Annie
WARNING- This RPG will contain twisted violence, harsh language, sexual perversion. I strongly urge you to reconsider reading/signing up if you find the previous listed offensive. "The school bells ring, students flood the corridors, teachers desperately seek shelter in their lobbies. Screams of freedom sound the begining of another summer. The traditional frenzy of shredded papers fill the negative spaces between hyped bodies. School's out for the summer. Principal Weavely, of Hallow's Point High, takes great pride in his high school's ratings, and will do anything to keep up the reputation it preceeds. However, over the past four summers, Principal Weavely's picture-perfect reputation has been tarnished. Not by spiteful students or dilemmas in fundings. But rather a string of disappearances, homicides, and molestation of his students. For the, now fifth, summer here at the high school, cases go unsolved about missing students and who is behind this terror. No one knows why these crimes started, but everyone knows for sure that it is frightening and maddening. Are the teachers behind this? Or worse, Principal Weavely himself? If so, why? Hello, I am Judith Brockheimer with Newscast 3. I'm currently standing outsided the limestone gates of the state's oldest high school, Hallow's Point High School. As you can see behind me, swarms of young adults rushing out of what they have called 'Hallow's Pointblank High'. The name reminds us that as parents, we have to put an end to this streak of summer terror. Will Hallow's Point finally be able to put an end to our children's nightmares? For Newscast 3, back to you Alex." "Hmm, 'why' seems to be the question, thank you, Judith. We will be following up with this horrible story after these breif messeges....." Hallow's Point High, its reputation for an excellent education program and prestigious for its reknowned teachers is crumbling from malicious conduct of its employees. For years, a group of twisted teachers have found humor in taking credit for subduing the most unruly of teenagers. And for the past four years, they have been successful. As for this summer, they have another thing coming. It's time for their students to turn the tables and take back the freedom these crooked teachers have stolen. It's time to give it back. Will five sworn enemies be able to put this to a hault? The rundown of characters: 1) The preppy- Peppy, upbeat, enrolled in many school activites/clubs, cares only about themself. 2)The thug- Angry at everyone, especially the preppy. Defiant, very talkative and loud. 3) The poet- Passive and blissful, liberal and understanding. 4) The skater- Hyper, care-free, enthusiast. Very optimistic and boisterous, always wanting to skate or conquer a new video game. 5) The misfit- Dark, lonesome, morbid, very quiet. Would rather draw by themself than have to listen to anyone's conversation. Doesn't fit into any stereotypical teen group and keeps emotions locked inside. (taken by myself) Each character will have an issue or secret. What that is, will be up to your creativity and imagination. (Keep in mind that I intend this RPG to be slightly disturbed) Their secrets or issues will be revealed later into the RPG. Sign-up Name- Age- (between the ages of 16-19) Gender- Sterotype- (any of #'s 1-4) Appearance- Issue/Secret- Bio- (try to tie your character's issue/secret into the bio...and remember, quality counts) Note: Seeing as how this is my first time writing up something in over four months, I would like to inform you that I'm intending to keep this RPG mature and controlled. Dare to venture into an obscurity of preposterous posts, and I will take care of your position in the RPG. ..have at it. Revelation
Name: Christina "C.J" Ju Age: 17 Gender: female Sterotype The Poet- Passive and blissful, liberal and understanding. Appearance: See attachment- the second girl on the left Personality: Deep within, there's much more than just a passive and liberal poet. There's a darkness stirring deep within. It's strange. I've always thought myself to be unlike any of the "categorial stereotypes", but I'm just like every one of them. I may not be as girly and conceited as the preps, but I take my pride in the extracurricular activities that I do. I'm not thuggish or angry, but I am defiant at many times and I am very active. Boisterous? I think not. I am quite optimistic and hyper, though. And finally, I am probably most like the lone wolf. Even though, I'm around people, I still feel alone. I still feel that I'm invisible to everyone, which is fine, but it gets tiresome. It begins to scar at my heart. But, I disregard it and I go on with my life. But, it's still there. Issue/Secret: Such happiness can only last for so long until the truth will surface. I always said that I didn't need true love, happiness, and peace at heart, but all I want is someone to truly understand me, to tell me that everything's going to be ok and that even the darkest of hours brings a shining light. I just want to hear that I'm loved and that I belong in this world. All I want is someone to love me for who I am and not what I've done or said. Just me. I want them to break this shell and exude the beauty within, just like my art. Bio: My name is Christina, but I prefer to be called "C.J." I was born in Hallow's Point and have been here since that time. I attend Hallow's Point High and am the journalist/ photographer for the Hollow Point, our town newpaper. People admire the work that I do for the newspaper, as well as the international magazines that I draw for and write for. It keeps me preoccupied and helps my get my mind off of the many difficulties that life is giving me. In a way, art is my therapy. For many years now, I've been of great service to the society. It's a change that people see when it comes to teenagers. They either see the disruptive menace, the loud and obsene skaters, or the vanity-filled preps and jocks. They don't usually see a happy person bouncing around throughout the streets. It's a definite change in me after my mom died. You see, about 10 years ago, my mom died of a heart attack. She had found out that my father was cheating on her for 3 years. My father had to take me in. But when I had reached the age of 10, I acknowledged and understood more than any 10 year old would have ever known. I've had to endure more than what most 5th graders should've had to endure. My so-called "Stepmother" made me do every little chore that came to mind. If I didn't finish that chore, I'd have to face the punishment. It took me a year to feel no pain, to just absorb this stinging burn. The years that I lived with those two, I've had time to research about getting away from the adults that controlled my life. I've had time to focus on much more important things in life, such as school and getting back to the social life, but it was hard with them breathing down my neck. Which is why I when I turned 12, I found a way to get away from them, emancipation. It took quite a while to convince a judge to get me emancipated, but it came through. I got the papers, the adults signed, and I was free. I was free to do as I pleased as long as I didn't commit a crime, which in fact I never did. I was free from the pain and anger. I was free, but I had to be supervised until I was either 15 or 16. At the age of 15, the judge issued my release of a supervisor and I was finally on my own. It was a great feeling of purity. During those years, I've learned that I shouldn't feel sorry for myself and that I shouldn't let other people feel sorry for me, either. I've learned that the world doesn't give out anything for free, you've got to earn it. The most important thing that I've learned so far is that being consumed in a world filled with sorrow and pain will get you nowhere. It'd only take you so far, but keep you distant from the people you love. Which is the hardest thing I've had to do. These past few years, I've thought of my mom and how she was the one who made me feel like I was someone. But, since her death, it seems that I've lost my place in life. My body stayed with the crowd, but my mind and soul just drifed away in the sea of nothing. I just seem to wake up in a cold sweat after the nightmares. What if that's the reason why I keep away? Or is it the reason why I get so attached? I'm not sure. I'm never sure. But, I do know that Hallow's Point is a challenge and it's a place that I need to escape.
Lilt
Hey, Great job on the rpg, Annie. I love these high school ones. You should've put made up commercials after the news report. ^_^ Name-Sadie Blade Age-16 Gender-Female Sterotype-The skater- Hyper, care-free, enthusiast. But unlike some children, she knows her mother will never be coming back, so she's tried to convince her dad to start looking for a new wife. Sadie doesn't know why, but her dad refuses to date for some reason. She also blames her speed problem on being raised without a mom. Bio-If you ask almost anyone at Hallow's Point, they would tell you that tomboy describes Sadie Blade, pretty well. After all, she did grow up with her dad and her three brothers. But if most of those people really knew her, then they'd be able to tell you that her tomboyishness is just what's on the outside. And that inside, she can even be as girly as some of the preps at the school. But Sadie finds it a little hard to drop the reputation she's earned by wearing baggy clothes, and skatin' with the boys. (who gave her the nickname, "Razor", because of her last name.) Sadie thinks that if she only had a mom, a teacher, or maybe even one of her girl classmates to look up to, she could stop acting like this. And learn how to act a little bit more girly. But most of all, she'd just like to have her mom. Her dad's a little secretive about the way her mother died, which has always made Sadie a little bit suspicious. Also, no matter how many times she's tried to set him up with someone, he refuses to go out with them. Sadie, however, forgets abot all of this when she's either skating, on speed, or both. Always the optimist, the only time you'll ever see her depressed, is when the speed wears off.
Annie
Hmm, perhaps I should post my character to give you all a basic idea...(in reality, I should have done this in the introduction ^_^;; oops..) Name- Oscar Victorias Age- 18 Gender- Male Sterotype- The misfit- Dark, lonesome, morbid, very quiet. Would rather draw by themself than have to listen to anyone's conversation. Doesn't fit into any stereotypical teen group and keeps emotions locked inside. Appearance- Oscar Issue/Secret- Much like your typical misfit, Oscar contains many secrets and self-conflicting issues. However there is one issue that eats Oscar from the inside-out. At the age of fifteen, Oscar struggled through any teenager of any gender's worst fear, rape. Bio- Growing up in a middle-class home, Oscar was given the attention and love every child strives for from their parents. He had many friends in his youth and lived a wealthy childhood, full of happiness and excitement. But, all is gold can't glitter forever; it soon becomes tarnished. At the age of thirteen, Oscar's parents fought through a volcanic divorce. Oscar, was left to wake in the ashes of the aftermath. After many court hearings and case pendings, Oscar's father held custody of the thirteen-year old youth. This only resulted in what will change Oscar's emotianal well-being for the rest of his life. Age fourteen, Oscar's father accepted a promising job in a small city called Hallow's Point. His mind and heart took a turn for the worst; all of his friends, gone; all of his goals and dreams, gone; his faith, gone. The children of Hallow's Point, much like any other person in the population, did not take kindly to change and took it upon themselves to torment the "new guy". Their bullying games and pranks received their greedy satisfaction, only driving Oscar deeper into himself. School was not any better for him. Here the teachers took advantage of the boy's fragility, brutally toying with his emotions and, sometimes, his virginal body. Many complaints to his father and to the Principal Weavely, but were ignored. Oscar's father blamed the matter on his son's anger at him for the divorce and the move. Principal Weavely, of course, denied such an outrage on the boy's accusations. For Oscar, the torment did not stop at school. His father took many woman into the home in attempt to move on, but all efforts failed. Oscar grew cold to the futile attempts and odd antics and behavior. Frustration naturally set inside his father's heart, residing into ritual verbal and physical abuse. Nothing Oscar couldn't handle, until one autum night. An arguement errupted between father and son, the father being heavily inebriated and full of rage. Pent up sexual frustration and stress from work was the bane of Oscar's memories of that night. A delicate teenager, tainted by his father's overbearing fury of twisted, sexual abuse. Oscar's appearance may not show his dark secret, but deep inside, his heart festers in terrorizong decadence of sexual torment.

Angelus_Necare
Meh, The Bio and secret are kind of the same thing, hope that's alright. Name: Jared O'Connor Age: 18 Gender: Male Sterotype: The thug- Angry at everyone, especially the preppy. Defiant, very talkative and loud. Apperance: Jared Caught walking back from his Sister's wedding. Issue/Secret: Jared has found himself in recent years to be a homosexual. Knowing this he is extremely defensive at all times about it, because he is afraid of not being accepted. He constantly puts up fronts because of it, and will scorn other people because he's insecure about himself. Jared carries quite a chip on his shoulder as well, for issues with his family life seemed to have torn him apart from the inside. Bio: Jared never really knew his father, and for most of his life was lied to about his father's dissapearance. It was not too long ago that Jared learned about his father's doings. Michael O'Connor, Husband and father of two children, had up and left his family for another man. What was worse, Jared began to take after his father lustrious traits, only making him angry and infurriated most of the time. He became overly irritable, and nearly impossible to get along with. Although he's the hard shell of a teen on the outside, he really is a sweet boy on the inside, who would never do to hurt his family at all. Everyone else is a different story however... Jared despises the teachers at his school, partly because he feels that they can see right through him, and this leaves him irrate, if not utterly paranoid. A few teachers HAVE actually discovered Jared's secret, so they look down on him and berate him because of it. The poor kid just can't get a break, making him all the more angry.
Gavin
It?s great to see you launch something new Annie. Sign-up Name: Malcolm Kane Age: 19 Gender: Male Sterotype: #4 - The skater- Hyper, care-free, enthusiast. Very optimistic and boisterous, always wanting to skate or conquer a new video game. Appearance: Issue/Secret: Malcolm may look care-free on the surface, a normal happy young man in one of the most prestigious schools in the country, in truth Malcolm is one of the school?s worst drug abusers. Heroin, cocaine, marijuana whatever he can get his hands on, his habit has put him in hospital before but Malcolm has never really cared whether he lives or dies, something about his early home life did this to him but he?s never been willing to say what it is. Bio: Malcolm Kane, born to one of the countries richest families there was little beyond his reach, one of the few things that was just happened to be happiness, from an early age he was assaulted both physically and sexually by one of his father?s associates. As he got older the assaults become more and more brutal, the bruises on his body would last for days, the emotional scarring has lasted him a lifetime. At age twelve he first experienced drug abuse, his father had been a periodic cocaine sniffer and through taking small amounts at a time Kane felt able to relax, even able to endure the abuse. His habit only got worse from then, using money from his father and mother to pay for more and more blow. When he was sent to Hallow?s Point High, Kane finally relaxed and let his habit slip for a while, he was able to try and blend in without looking preppy, Kane hated the preps people who?s riches might actually have made them happy. Instead he chose to hand around with the Skaters, he had found skating to be a way to cover up what injuries he may have sustained at the hands of his abuser, as well as this he got a genuine high from it. He stuck with the group, however his habit soon returned, his depression came to the point where he nearly overdosed more than once, his only option was to use his inheritance to cover up what happened. Hallow?s Point also got him into more and more drugs, heroin became a bit hit for him for a few years, marijuana was big among students but Malcolm only used it if he had nothing else to take. Over the last few years he?s managed to get by without raising much suspicion, there have been a few times when he?s nearly been caught but to Malcolm it?s all part of the game, life, death, it doesn?t matter much to him.
Skye
Sign-up Name- Jennifer Thompson Age- 17 Gender- Female Sterotype- The poet- Passive and blissful, liberal and understanding. Appearance- See attachment Issue/Secret- Jen maybe be a sweet, cool person to hang out with, but she is not the best friend you could wish for. All her poems and songs and stories are morbid, depressed, and if she lets you, you may even see a scar or two ? where she cut herself with a razor from suicide attempts. (She is also slightly scared of her crush on another girl in her science class.) Bio- Hi, everyone! It?s me, Jen! I?ve lived in Hallow?s Point since I was two, when I moved here for my dad?s new job. I go to Hallow?s Point High, where I am editor of the school newspaper. I also do Drama, and half the plays we produce, I wrote! I love writing plays, and musicals. I?m not much of a sports person, but I love watching my older brother, Marcus, play soccer. I also (kind of) admire C.J. She?s a really good photographer, and her stories for the paper are amazing. ~*~ Jennifer moved to Hallow?s Point when she was two, from Atlanta, Georgia. She lives with her mom (Becky), her dad (Andrew), and her brother (Marcus). Her best friend, Nathaniel, is one the same soccer team with Marcus, and, secretly, Jen has a crush on him. Of course, she knows he would never go out with her, and that is part of the reason she gets depressed easily. Jen grew up with animals and she has four cats (two tabby?s, grey and orange, a black, and a calico; Jasmine, Devin, Lucas, and Mirage), two dogs (a terrier and a lab; Corbin and Kiki), and three birds (a cockatiel(Tai-bin), a parrot(Couscous), and a finch(Kiwi)). Her family lives in a large house, and she grew up in that house. She has great friends, but none of them can even come close to what haunts her. For Jen?s 16th birthday, she was going to go to the movies with her boyfriend(now an ex). Jen decided to pick him up in her new car, and so that evening she got ready, and drove to his house. When he opened the door, his hair was a mess, and Jen caught a glimpse of a girl ? on the couch, naked. She got in a huge fight with him, and never spoke with him again. To him, she looked angry; but she was torn. When she got home, she locked herself in her bathroom, and slit her wrists. The pain was enourmas, and she screamed. Marcus broke down the door, and got her to the hospital before she bled to death. Jennifer was traumatized. After that, she only ever cut herself when she was more than hurt. But never to the extent of suicide. Admittedly, she does think of suicide every now and then ? but she won?t attempt it unless it?s really bad. Nice, Annie! ^_^ You know I like your RPs.
Annie
I'm sorry to dissappoint everyone who had signed-up for this RPG, but due to the lack of people, I'm not going to start this one up. Everyone's character was great, and I'm kind of glad that I don't have to sift through them (it's a very hard pick of grapes). Besides, school-type genres were not all that good for me ^_^;; So, once again, I apologize.
