Hey everyone. It's been a long since I've been here. But I'm back and happy since OtakuBoards gave me a birthday greeting. Yes, I'm turning 18 tomorrow, which is about 1 hour away. :D

Anywho, do any of you here know what it was like on your 18th birthday? What were the funniest time you had and what did you think of them?

I don't know what I'm gonna do on my 18th year.

Heh. I turned eighteen last August. I don't care about birthdays. But I did get carrot cake, the most wickedawesome cake known to MAN!! WA-ha!!!

Yeah, that and my sister got me a baby albino mouse!! GHEEE! X3

That was pretty much it. However, I do hope something great happens on my 20th because, well, I won't be a teenager anymore. Kinda awesome, kinda...sad in a way. :(

Carrot cake? Are you serious?

Wow, that sounds really...lame. Vegetables just aren't something I normally associate with a rockin' time, heh. It's cute, though, heh. ^_^

I turned eighteen this past spring...I can't really remember doing anything special, 18-wise. My family and I went to see a Newsboys concert (they were in town on my birthday! They sang my favorite song! It was awesome!)

My friend decorated my locker. I still grin, thinking about it. I really like koi (for some reason?), and she got all sorts of fish (Fishy crackers, swedish fish, fish toys, fish necklaces) and filled my locker with them. It kicked seven levels of butt.

So, yeah, heh. Nothing too spectacular, 18-wise, but as birthdays go in general, it was pretty great.

Oh, Sara, carrot cake is orgasmically delicious. ~_^

When did I turn 18...2001? My Frosh year of college, Sept 4, 2001, yep. Yes, I started college on my 18th birthday, lol. I only had Intro to Theatre Arts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but even with one class, I still wasn't looking forward to it, heh. The class was from 10 to 11:20 am, I believe.

So, I get to class, sit down, start reading my book. It gets to be 10:10, and we're all wondering where our instructor is. A few minutes later, some teaching assistant or aide walks in and tells us that our instructor cancelled class, just read the first three chapters. So, yeah. It was kind of a waste of a day. I get home, chill for a bit, then my then-girlfriend calls me up and asks me what I want to do for my birthday. Eh-he ~_^

I've never had carrot cake but it looks delicious indeed. All the white and orange icing...

Anyway, I didn't plan for any parties for my 18th birthday, though most of my friends celebrated theirs with unnecessary grandiose formal parties. It was a normal day... then I had to go home with three bags full of gifts because they wouldn't fit in my locker ^_^

At home, they prepared some food and a very kiddy cake with colorful icings and what seemed like a Disney princess. It was meant to be for fun. I had to blow two candles with the shape one the number one and eight, lol.

I turned 18 this October 12th. I don't really remember too vividly what happened that day, because it wasn't too important to me, at all.

I believe what I did was have some friends come over to my friend Ryan's house, and we just played some games. . .that's it.

Carrot cake is good, but great when its warm.

I just got back from celebrating my 18th B-day. I have to admit, my time compared with everyone's comments. I just stayed at home typing on the computer, watching cartoons, ate chocolate double layer cake, and now staying up til.....oh who knows when.

It wasm't all the fun, but cool since I played some games at resturant arcade. So, I guess I'm starting to feel like birthdays don't matter much, but to my family it does; so that's what matters.

Yeah, it was just another fun and yet tiring day. :)

Actually, I now remember the highlight of my 18th, lol. Yeah, kinda hard to forget a highlight, but that's how I am in the way of 'tard'.

That summer I was in the OYCC (Oregon Youth Conservation Corps) doing trail maintenance; the last week of work included my 18th birthday. So anyways, it was early in the morning, and our crew (four crews, each to a van) was getting gas for the half-hour trip to our location. Well, a bunch of us decided to go into the store and get some munchies. My 20-year-old friend bought me some Scratch-Its--

--whoohoo, I won fifty cents!! :p So yeah, that was a bit amusing. I felt embarrassed, though, since I feel weird when people give me things. ^_^;;

My 18th birthday was a combination birthday/graduation party so it was rather well, odd. I got some lotto tickets and my cousin Erin gave me a box of crayons and a coloring book to pass some of the boring hours between classes in college when I didn't want to go back to the dorm.

I liked my 21st better. My best friend took me out for lunch and we each had an alchoholic drink and walked around the mall pretending to be drunk. Yes, I am so easily amused.

Yes, I do because my 18th birthday was last year, on my senior Prom night. It was probably the best night of my life, so many things went right. It's a long story no one cares about, but I'll give you the gist of it.

I had a car accident the day before my B-day/Prom. Turns out, I didn't have to pay damages and I walked away unharmed. My parents were threatening to split that night, but they didn't and they are still currently together. And I heard that my girlfriend wasn't really in love with me, but she told me that night that she would change schools so that me and her could stay together.

Oh happy days, oh happy days...god I love B-days. :D

When I turned 18 the birds came to my window and sang to herald the joyous occasion! The sun shown the brightest it ever had as flowers sprouted up between my floorboards. I danced and sang all day, exulting in the rapturous thrill of having spent another year on glorious Mother Earth.

I ate cake like unto the food the gods eat when they convene to reorder the universe. The President declared it a national holiday, and all the good little boys and girls got candy and all the bad kids were eaten by Black Pete. Everyone in town came to my house to shower me with gifts, then hoisted me onto their shoulders and carried me down the street singing "oh he's a jolly good fellow!"

Oh, alleluia, what a happy day that was! The whole earth did resound with joy!!!!
