Writing "Pinned" [E]

[color=darkslategray]This is a poem I have had for [b]ages[/b] but have never posted. I don't usually post my stuff, but I thought I might on this one. Repetition is key here. ^__^[/color]

[color=#2f4f4f]Hope.[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]A white piece of paper pinned,[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Pinned to a wall of black soot.[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Black soot caked on generation by generation;[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Generation by generation, black hate darkens the wall.[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]The wall's original life, pure and clean, dead.[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Dead because of the hate composed in man's soul.[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Man's soul is killing,[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Killing itself,[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Killing the world,[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]The world is dying, and death awaits,[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Death awaits that ever shrinking paper;[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]The white piece of paper pinned,[/color]
[color=#2f4f4f]Pinned to a wall of black soot.[/color]
