Ziarre and Shadow set down in amongst the mutilated corpses of the battlefield. It was a sea of blood and body-parts. Ziarre sighed.
" Today, I have lost my innocence."
The griffin nodded sadly. " Yes. That you have."

Soon, both Ziarre and Shadown were flying above the King and the others. She kept an eye out for Lee. His attention seemed fixed on his father. She had seen the arrow heading towards her father. She didn't want to risk setting him alight just to burn the arrow that he eventually pulled out of him.

Ziarre had also seen Jessica's unfortunate ordeal. She could see the pain Jessica was experiencing.
" Poor girl. Losing her parents in one battle."
" Yes. But, it will eventually happen one day to all of us. Its just unfortunate how it happened."
" I agree."

Soon, they approached the palace.
" You know what I need?" Ziarre suddenly burst out.
" What?" Shadow asked, wondering what the hell she was going on about.
" I need.......I need.........a place where I can settle for a while. You know, like my little place at home."
" Hmm......where would we find a place like that?"
" I don't know."

As soon as Ziarre finished her sentence, Dark flew down and perched himself on Ziarre's right shoulder. She had left him behind. He wouldn't have stood a chance in battle.
" Dark. Nice to see that you are safe."

Tellzar just sat there, Jessica walking beside him, not knowing the best way to comfort her, or even if he should, because he knew that when his mother had died, he had only wanted to be left alone and be by himself, unless he was training, because it helped take his mind off of it. He had never cried for his mother, just because he had never cried before in his life besides when he was a kid.
As he sat there, feeling the faintness that his wounds brought as more life flowed out of them, he noticed the King was clutching his side.Wonderful, first a battle that decimated the people, now they're going to lose their King. I wonder if Lee will make a good King...I think so...I hope so...
Tellzar sighed as all these thoughts crossed his mind, Jessica looked at him but said nothing, she still had that sad look in her eyes that made Tellzar think of how he would react if he lost his sister or father.

James was troubled by the thought that one of the greatest Kings was going to lose his life, it just wasn't fair at all. He is such a great and powerful ruler who had maintained his kingdom through peace and relationships with the other kingdoms. There was still a long line of soldiers following the path back to the kingdom, the battle may have been won that day, but it really didn't feel like a victory to everyone. James' green cape blew in the gust of cold wind, the light fur gave James some warmth while they all walked, when it was blown behind him he saw his madallion of Earth strapped to the side of his waist.

"Maybe we should have used their powers during the battle. It would have given us a much better advatange and it could have saved a lot more lives" James thought to himself, the wind blew his cape in forward again covering up the madallion. James saw Aria a few feet in front of him and decided to get her opinion about the matter, he had to run past some soldiers carring their fallen commrads back home that were injured. The sight was sickening they was some of the younger soldiers were ed and scarred for life thanks to the battle. James finally cought up with the fairy princess.

"Something wrong James?" Aria asked as she walked along side of him following the crowd. Lee and the king were way up front leading the line back to the Sorain Kingdom.

"Why didn't we use the madallions....the king or the soldiers wouldn't be in such a bad shape right now if we used them" James said.

"I thought about that during battle but it slipped my mind" Aria explained.

"What do you mean slipped your mind?" James asked with a slight hint of sarcasm.

"Think of it....if we used our powers during battle more of these soldiers wouldn't bee here right now. We can only control a slight fraction of the madallions, I dont think you or I, nor the others, can control the full power of the madallions." Aria explained.

" You're...right about that. I dont find it fitting to use the madallion for confrontation if there is someone threatening the kingdom. I've always been able to make treaties without force. I'm sorry for the attitude." James replied.

" No sorries are needed. We're all a little depressed at the situation at hand, some more than others. Lee might lose his father, but it is definate that he will, and Jessica has lost her mother in the battle when those mosters attacked the people. But we must be strong now for the Kingdom of Sorain and ours to defeat Thorian before he can defeat us." Aria finished and looked straight ahead as it got a little dark and it seemed like it was going to rain soon, they had to hurry to get back to the kingdom and get aid for everyone. James was still a little lost in the thought that they couldn't have used their madallion to save lives, but he knew Aria was right about what she said.

The death of King Sorian
______________________________

When they returned to Sorian...there were no cheers.....no horns of victory, the people looked on as there King clutched his side..his face pale and his eyes dark, blood had now soaked his clothing.....

They all climbed the staircase to the palace, King Sorian had straightened himself up and sat boldly in the saddle, they stopped in the courtyard

Lee slid out of the saddle watching his father carefully, at that moment his father swayed in the saddle as the palace gates were closed, people stood outside the gates....in silence

Lee's heart jumped as his father fell from the saddle

'No!,' exclaimed Lee as he ran across the courtyard...everyone stood frozen as they watched Lee manage to catch the falling King, Alvadon was there in in seconds

Rain began to pour down as Lee held his father

'It's ok...we'll get you inside...' whispered Lee as he fell to his knees, the king then looked up at him with a smile rimmed with blood

'My son...,' smiled the King his eyes darkening even more

Lee brushed the hair out of the kings eyes, 'Father....please,'

'My son...it is your duty to protect this kingdom....I am old, I have lived out my life....and it has come to an end...but yours will start here,' smiled the King faintly

'How do I do that?....without you.....How can I fill your shoes..the ground you walked on this kingdom worshiped......What right do i have to take what is yours..what you built with your own bear hands,' whispered Lee his heart feeling heavy

'My son... you'll become a great king...I will always be with you....you don't need to fill my shoes....you don't need to prove anything..because in my eyes....you are a King,' smiled the King, 'the only thing I ask of you....is that you bestill your heart...it knows no fear..and Thorian will see that as a weakness, you have a kingdom to protect...don't fear your duty,' whispered the King as he raised his bloodied hand to Lee's face, Lee looked down at his father and watched the tears fall from his fathers eyes

'Father.....' whispered Lee

'Live for your people....Live for Valahria,' whispered the King, 'My son..I love you,'

Lee watched the life disappear from his fathers eyes, he heard everyone gasp as they watched the Kings hand fall limp and land gently in the muddy water, Lee sighed deeply, Kissed his fathers forehead and with all the strength he had left, he stood up with his father in his arms, holding him tightly

Alvadon then moved to Lees side

'Give him to me,' spoke Alvadon with tears in his eyes....Lees heart sank as he looked at the army who watched on in dismay, Lee slowly handed his father to Alvadon, 'Go speak to your people,'

'I don't...know what to say,' replied Lee as he looked down at the ground feeling embarrassed

'Say what you feel, they will listen and understand,' smiled Alvadon as tears rolled down his face, 'I will prepare the ceremony,'

Lee looked around and then sumonded to the gurads to open the gates...as Lee took the pedestal..the army didn't know what was going on....the whole of Sorian had flooded in through the gates and waited in silence...confusion in there eyes

Lee looked around..his face went red..he had never taken the pedestal before, he looked at the medallion holders..who hope was gone from their eyes...all hope seemed lost...what could he say...the crowd grew restless and began demanding for the King, their chanting grew louder

'Silence!,' lee's voice echoed around the courtyard....he stared at the crowd.as they bestilled their voices, 'People of Sorian....Your King has.....passed away, his life taken by an arrow of pioson,'

The crowd gasped in horror...there faces turned ghostly...then came the crying, the wailing....the screams for their King, Lee then stepped down from the pedestal and walked inside....the crowd's cries echoed out of the kingdom and across the plains...rain poured down

The ceremony
____________________

Alvadon had prepared the King, putting the King in his battle clothing and armor, Lee looked at his father laying on the bed, his face pale and his body cold, at that moment the coffin was brought in.

Lee stood with the others, He hadn't spoken a word all night, you could still hear the cries from the Sorian people who stood outside demanding to see their King.

They began to lift the king into the coffin, Lee looked at the men who were lifting the king, tears rolled down their faces, they were hesitating on putting the king in...they didn't want to see him in there...

'Stop,' spoke Lee as he walked over, 'Put my father down,'

The men looked at Lee

'But prince..this is the only way we can do it to get the king up to the ceremony pedestal,' spoke a man wiping the tears away

'No, you have done enough..rest...I will carry him down..he is my father...I will carry him,' spoke Lee as he gave them a warm smile, he then walked over to the bed and with all his strength he lifted his father up into his arms, the men gasped

'But prince Lee..he is too heavy for you,' spoke the other man

'He is my father...I will carry him,' spoke Lee as he walked to the door, the guards opened the doors and he walked out...they all followed.

People fell silent when they saw Lee walk out of the palace with the King in his arms, Lee was struggling but he swore to himself that he will make it...

'People of Sorian...If I can't carry my own father to the Ceremony pedestal...then I will not become your King....because how can I rule in the place of this man...the man who gave you all hope....the one who built Sorian with his own hands...the one who raised me...How can i rule in his place..If I can not carry him,' spoke out Lee, the crowd looked on with tear filled eyes...and hope.

Lee began the massive hike to the pedestal...the crowd of Sorian and the medallion holders followed, Lee struggled...his legs felt weak...sweat dripped from his brow but still he staggered on..halfway up the hill he collapsed, he was tired...it was a two mile hike up a 80 degree slope, he held his father tightly, everyone crowded around him, the people of Sorian ran to help him...but Alvadon stopped them, Lee could hear them calling out for him to carry on..but his hope was dieing...fast as he buried his face in his fathers chest

'STAND UP!!!,' roared Alvadon standing above him with a deep frown, Lee looked up

'I can't..I thought I could,' whispered Lee

'BULLSHIT!!!..NOW STAND UP....IF YOU FAIL NOW...YOU LET DOWN YOUR PEOPLE!!...THE KINGDOM....AND YOUR FATHER!!!...NOW STAND UP!!!,' roared Alvadon

Lee looked down at his father...that was the one thing he couldn't do, he looked back and saw the people of Sorian..there faces looking toward him for hope but that was slowly fading.....it was dark..but yet he could see it, he then took a deep breath and lifted himself off the ground with his father his his arms....he groaned as he walked on...the people began to cry...for the loss and the gain..as they saw the hope in Lee as they walked on...at the same time they began to sing the eerie song of Sorian...a song that drifted around them..the song of Mourning and the rain fell, which made it harder for Lee to walk, He fell over twice, on the second time he took off his fur coat and put it over his father and carried on

Finally they reached the top....Lee wearily placed his father on the wooden pedestal and then collapsed, even though the people cried they cheered as Lee pressed his head against the pedestal, the rain stopped.

He then slowly rose, and then Alvadon began the ceremony as he smiled at Lee who pulled the coat off his fathers face but leaving it on him.

Alvadon then finished the ceremony and Lee was hande the fire torch, cries for the people sang out

'Good bye....a Great Father......The King of Sorian....A king of Valahria,' whispered Lee loud enough for everyone to hear....as silence fell upon them...Lee looked at his father, kissed his forehead, 'I love you Father...and I'll miss you...we all will,'

Lee stepped back, his hands shaking but he lit the pedestal, people crowded around and bowed to the Great King of Sorian with tears following from their eyes. Lee stood watching...no tears had fallen from his eyes...but a deep pain had set in his heart..but he couldn't show it..for the kingdoms sake...for everyones sake

The Task........
_______________________________

After the ceremony everyone was able to rest properly, the medallion holders, Kayin and Jessica sat in the thrown room, Lee sat at the foot of the throne with his back lent against it, his eyes distant and his mind seemed gone

'So what are we to do now?' Lee heard Aria question

Lee then stood up, 'We continue to destroy Thorian...we stop him what ever it takes..we must stop him,'

'But we don't have much of an army, even if all of our Kingdoms joined together..we still wont have enough,' spoke James

'We didn't have much to start with anyway..but we can not give up, we must fight on,' spoke Lee

At that moment Alvadon entered the room

'And you are right King Lee,' smiled Alvadon, Lee looked at him

'Alvadon, do not call me King..I have done nothing great to achieve that kind of respect,' spoke Lee, 'I will earn it...like how my whole family and ancestors have,'

'I was just testing it out,' smiled Alvadon, Lee smiled faintly at him, 'But Prince Lee you are right but then so is King James, which means we need more aid to help us,'

'But the Five Kingdoms are the only...' began Tellar but then was cut off

'No..the five kingdoms aren't the only places that hold army forces....Alvadon...aren't there Kingdoms beyond the five Kingdoms boundries?' spoke Lee looking at Tellar as if to say sorry for interupting

'Yes, and that is where we'll get our help from,' spoke Alvadon

'Beyond the boundries...noone has ever been beyond the boundries before,' spoke Ziarre

'No, but it must be done,' spoke Alvadon, 'and the first place we will go is Far south...to the Vorn Plains...the the Red Cliffs, home of the Giant Hawks, but we must be quick, it is a three day ride, we must keep our wits about us, its going to be dangerous..but it must be done, We ride tomorrow at noon, when everyone is well rested,' spoke Alvadon

They all agreed. And then departed to their rooms. Before Lee returned to his bed he walked over to Jessica and Kayin

'Thank you for your aid,' he spoke softly and then turned to Jessica, 'And I'm truely sorry for your loss, I heard what happened,'

Jessica looked at Lee and he gave a slgihtly warm smile then walked out

Lee retired to his room and lay there on his bed, he missed his father....he missed him deeply..but he couldn't let it distract him...even though his heart ached he slowly drifted off into a deep sleep

'I will find you...son of Sorian and I will find the others,' the voice entered his head

'I will have what should of been mine....I will have it all....Son of Sorian...I will have it....I will find you,' came the voice...a haunting laugh..suddenly there was a shadow.....a dark shadow...it reached out......it reached for the medallion..........

'NOO!,' called out Lee as he sat up and looked around clutching the medallion in his hand, he frowned angrily into the dark, 'Dammit!...you will not have it,'

Lee flopped back down on the bed. He drifted in and out of sleep. until dawn hit and he was up, he had a wash, and got dressed into his armor and walked down the corridor..he passed his fathers room and slowly ran his hand across the doors and carried on, he walked down the stairs and out into the courtyard, the sun had began to rise up from behind the mountains.......he then walked up to the ceremony pedestal.....the pedestal was cleaned and his ashes were taken into the burial vault for the royals of Sorian, he then sat on the edge which looked down on the palace courtyard, and the kingdom, he just sat there....waiting for the breakfast bell..which shouldn't be too long. Lee gazed out across the land...wondering when everyone was going to get up....suddenly the bell rang...Lee stood up looked back at the pedestal, his heart pained badly..but he didn't show it...he then walked down the hill to the palace....he then saw Ziarre

'Sleep well?' he questioned as he looked at her but at that moment Veradon appeared beside him and nudged him in the back

OOC: Excuse the long thread but I had to write up three parts.

Jessica was sitting out in the courtyard. She heard the bell and waited... she wasn't hungry, but she knew she needed to eat something. She stood up relunctantly and walked toward the palace. She was tired... she hadn't slept, but that wasn't what was wearing on her mind... the day before had hit her hard...

She had remembered the people cry when the King had died... she remembered the shocked expressions... the songs that came afterward.....

No one would sing for her father.... because she was of the lowly class...

She trudged her feet as she reached the top of the stair. The place no longer looked beautiful to her... the once legendary setting had lost it's glow. She saw Lee heading down the corridor. She was about to say something when she just lingered back... she wanted to thank him for his words the night before.... but more than likely, what she had to say, didn't matter... she may have helped... but the fact remained... she was a commoner. She believed he would be a good king... and that the people would remember him and his father... always...

But no stories would be written about her father... no songs to be sung... no tears... just pity... she walked on... her heart feeling heavier by the moment... she walked behind him... she wasn't even sure what she was doing anymore... she shook her head... her father loved their home more than anything... more than honor... she needed to be like him...

But it wasn't her own honor and recognition she longed for... it was for her father.....

Kayin walked into the courtyard hoping that there was no one there at the time and everyone had gone to eat. He was right in his timing and sat on the edge of the fountain near one of the walls. He looked into the water, and as he saw the water filing out toward the edge, he remembered all of the people who had died in cold blood today. "It...it isn't fair..." He said to himself sadly. "Why did all of those families have to suffer? And Jessica...she must be in pain...more than she lets on...I think I understand how she feels...having lost both parents...right in front of her. But it's different for me...I don't know if any of my family is alive right now...I never even knew my parents..."

Kayin looked away from the water to try not to think about all of the bloodshed. The only family I fight for now is my sister...in hopes that she is still alive and well...And now...I see that I have someone else to fight for...All of the families who have lost someone to those beasts...and to be sure that no one else loses anyone to them... He stood up and headed for the main hall. "I will make sure nothing happens to you, Kristen..." Kayin whispered. He looked down the hall to catch a glimpse of Jessica. "Je..." He cut himself off. He wanted to get her attention but he had no idea as to what to say to her. He didn't want to upset her any furhter so he just kept quiet and continued onward...

Jessica thought she was hungry, but as soon as she smelt the food... her stomach went into knotts... all she could remember was the day before... her father's gaze. She closed her eyes and opened them, her face appearing softer... she put on a small smile... she wouldn't think about her life right now.... she would think about her duty. She looked around and noticed the Royalty around her... She felt small in a room full of important people. She walked back out and leaned against the wall frame to the dining hall. She closed her eyes... and tried to drive all of her sadness away.

"Jessica?"

Jessica turned her head and saw Kayin just looking at her... "What is it?" she asked turning her head back toward the ceiling.

"I just wanted to say... that I'm sorry for your loss... I know how it feels to lose someone..."

"Thank you..." she said softly. She felt an overwhelming since of dread take over her... her sadness darkened her expressions as she sat up from the wall. She straightened herself, and looked at Kayin... "You're kind words are noted, Kayin... I truly do thank you..." she said as she walked past him... her pain... the pain she was trying to hide was getting to her... her father died, fighting for his life... that was honor... yet, no one would remember him... no one would know how great of a warrior... or a father he was...

She walked behind the dining hall and sat on the steps outside... she needed to feel the wind on her face... she needed to get her mind focused again... she couldn't disappoint her people... she may only be just a commoner... but her love for the things her father and mother loved... would make her do what was best... she hung her head in her lap as everyone ate... she wouldn't allow people to see her pain...

Ziarre watched the King die in his son's arms. She felt such pain and heartbreak for Lee. It was a great loss to Valahria. During the ceremony, Ziarre sung a song of Mourning in the old tongue of the Sorcerers. She didn't know if the others heard it. The sound of the song was haunting and sorrowful, helping the King to make his way to the Great Halls of Sorian.

After the ceremony, Ziarre made her way to one of the palace's battlements. She stood on the stone edge. A great rush of wind almost knocked her off the edge. The inky blackness of the sky was dotted with sparkles of stars. Ziarre closed her eyes. Her medallion grew a fiery red. Dark, the raven perched on her shoulder, outstretched his wings. The bird glowed a bright red and transformed into the fire phoenix. Dark's blazing wings made a glow even in the darkness.
" Oh Dark, I wish I could help Lee. He is hurtin so much at the moment. I would be too if I had lose my father." The phoenix pierced the air with a falcon's cry. It landed on Ziarre's shoulder and nuzzled her. Shadow walked up behind Ziarre and covered her with his white wing.
" You realy like this one, don't you?" the griffin asked.
" I do," Ziarre nodded, " I wish I could help him Shadow. So much. I can feel his pain."
" There is nothing that can bring the King back. It is a part of life I am afraid."
" Then I shall sing a healing song. For him."
Ziarre walked to the edge again and started to sing. She sang like the Elves, sweet and harmonious, in the ancient tongue of the Sorcerers. The wind carried the song around the palace.
______________________________________________

Ziarre was still standing on one of the battlements, looking over the land, when a familar voice behind her asked her a question.
" Sleep well?"
She turned around to see Lee.
" Lee.........no, I didn't. I couldn't sleep - not at a time like this."
" I see. Me neither."
" I know. I could sense it."
" You wha?"
" Nevermind."
He walked up beside her.
" What are you doing here? Were you out here all night?"
Ziarre blushed. " I was singing here all night."
" Singing?" Lee asked.
" For your father."
Lee's face turned pale. " For....for my father?"
" Yes. I'm sorry. I wanted to say good-bye too."

Veradon came up and nuzzled Lee in the back.
" Ok Veradon, I'll go have something to eat." He looked at Ziarre. " You'll need something to eat before we go Ziarre."
Ziarre looked at Shadow curled up against a stone wall, sleeping, and Dark perched above him.
" I'll come. These two need sleep. They've been up with me all night," Ziarre said to Lee before following him to the Dining Hall. Lee sat down at the side of the head of the table out of respect for his father. Ziarre sat next to him, feeling rather attached to him at this moment of time. The table was spread with delicious foods of all sorts. Not feeling very hungry, Ziarre just ate some fruit and drank a cup of honey tea, enough to keep her going for a while.
" Are you going to eat Lee?" she asked him timidly, feeling herself blush at the cheeks.

As Telllzar lifted the bread to his mouth, his stomach heaved, not because of the thoughts and images that ran through his head of the day before, for he had a strong stomach, a high constitution if you will. He couldn't figure out what it was that made him feel like this, but he decided it best not to ruin everyone elses meal by wretching on the table. I need some air....
Tellzar walked around to the back of the dining hall and walked outside, intending to sit on the steps he had seen last night while he had been walking around, and stopped cold, rocking on his heels, for he had almost ran smack into Jessica's back. Tellzar stood there lookinng at her, how she had her head on her lap and was just sitting there. He knew that she was thinking of her family, though she shed no tear. He had never been good at comforting people with words, so he laid his left hand on her shoulder, gave it a squeeze, stood there long enough to smile at her gently when she loooked up, let their eyes meet, and continued on down the walkway.

Lee looked around the great dinning hall.....not all of them were there...he sighed as he looked at the chair of where his father sat and then looked at his food....he only ate a small amount on his plate

'Are you going to eat Lee?' questioned Ziarre who sat beside him, he noticed her face going red

'Ah....not really hungry.....I'm going to get ready for the departure....I suggest everyone do the same,' he spoke out as he gave ziarre a slight smile at that moment Alvadon entered the dinning room with three guards behind him

'Prince Lee...the people are standing at the gates..they want to see you..you must go to them,' spoke Alvadon

Lee frowned slightly and stood up and followed Alvadon hastily, everyone looked at each other

Lee walked out into the courtyard, he saw Tellzar standing with a look of confusion, Jessica and Kayin also stood close by wondering what was going on

Lee walked swiftly to the gates as everyone else followed him out into the courtyard

'Open the gates!,' roared Lee

'But Prince Lee, they carry with them spears, pitch forks and more...,' spoke the guard

Lee suddenly pushed passed the guards who tried to stop him, lifted the hatch and pulled the door back, at the moment the horde of Sorian people flooded through the gates, Lee was then knocked off his feet and when he fell to the ground the people stopped..they dropped the weapons they carried and helped Lee back up, and then bowed infront of him, Lee rubbed the back of his neck

'Why are you all doing this?' questioned Lee looking confused

'Prince Lee....we want to fight in the war....we want to avenge Sorian......we will follow you into battle....lastnight you showed us that we have not lost our King, because of what you did we have regained our hope...our light.....we see our King in you,' spoke a towns men

Lee stepped back, 'Why do you bid me such high praises....I haven't done anything to deserve this kindness,'

'Prince Lee....we believe in you....we believe in you and the others and the two that stand with you....you have all shown such bravery in such a dark time....we want to return that bravery and courage by lending you all our courage and souls...Please let us fight, you have all give us the will to fight,'

Lee looked at the towns people and looked at Alvadon who smiled at him

'Then let Those beasts hear the courage of SORIAN!!!!!......,' roared Lee as he drew his sword and held it high, 'WE WILL FIGHT FOR VALAHRIA!!!,'

The crowd then stood up and roared over and over again.........Lee smiled

Lee stood in the throne room with Alvadon

'Because of there bravery and courage....it has to be done,' spoke Lee, 'I want it to be held in the courtyard,'

'Ok Prince Lee,' smiled Alvadon

Whispers were heard throughout the crowd of Sorian and amougst the medallion holders as everyone was called to the courtyard, Lee stood on the pedestal in his war armor...an armor which glistened in the sun, it was of Blue, Green, Gold and White.

He hushed the crowd

'Today...we medallion holders will ride for Vorn Plains,' Lee spoke out, the crowd looked upon Lee in shock....everyone knew that Vorn Plains were beyond the Valahrian Boundaries, 'Don't dismay....we go in search of aid for this battle and we will succeed!!,'

The crowd stopped whispering and listened

'People of Sorian...your strength will be needed here...to keep Sorian alive and well and this i intrust in you, when we return we will bring down Thorain and fight for Valahria, we will join as one!!,' spoke out Lee, the crowd roared in agreement, 'Although we leave don't fall because we have gone....stand strong for us...stand with hope and not fear...we will return,'

The crowd roared again

'Now...Kayin Cloud and Jessica Lanyca please come forth and stand before me,' spoke Lee as he looked at them with such seriousness in his eyes, everyone looked at each other in confusion and whisperes were exchanged as Jessica and Kayin slowly walked towards Lee who drew his sword as they stood before him

'Kneel down,' spoke Lee, Kayin and Jessica looked at each other and then got down on one knee, 'Kayin Cloud, Yesterday you had shown bravery and courage and aided us in a time of darkness when you could of stayed back...and for this loyalty, willingness and courage your name will be heard throughout the great Kingdoms and spoken upon the land of Valahria forever as Sir Kayin Cloud...Knight of Sorian,' spoke Lee loudly as he pressed the flat part of the blade upon the right shoulder of Kayin and then moved it to the left side and then placed it on his head

'Rise Sir Kayin Cloud Knight of Sorian,' spoke Lee as Kayin rose from the ground and the crowd cheered

Lee then turned to Jessica

'Jessica Lanyca, Yesterday you had also shown bravery and courage and aided us in a time of darkness when you could of stayed behind, The Kingdom of sorian is deeply sorry for your loss but stands proud for your courage and willingness to go on..because of your loyalty, willingness and courage your name will be heard throughout the Great Kingdoms and spoken upon the lands of Valahria forever as..........,' at that moment Lee stopped and looked at Alvadon wondering what you call a female knight..Lee shrugged his shoulders and continued, 'As.....Lady Jessica Lanyca...the first Sorian Female Knight,' spoke lee out as he repeated what he did to Kayin

'Rise Lady Jessica Lanyca Knight of Sorian,' spoke Lee as Jessica rose slowly and the crowd cheered

Kayin and Jessica stood looking around as the people roared their names something they never thought anyone would do...

'But we are commoners,' spoke Jessica

'No, in the eyes of the people and I...you are loyal and courageous heros,' spoke Lee as he gave them both a warm smile________________________________________

The crowd watched the medallion holders, the wizard and knights prepare themselves for the journey, they mounted thier horses and what ever they were riding and slowly make their to the kingdom gates

'Ride with courage!!,' called the towns people as they threw them white flowers

'Prince Lee come home to us!!!,' they roared, 'All ride safe and strong and return to us!! return to Valahria!!!!!,'

'Be strong!!!,' roared Lee as they stopped outside the kingdom and looked back

'RIDE SAFE!!!!,' the crowd roared back with tearful eyes but with hope in them.

Lee looked at the others and gave a wicked smile, 'Lets ride!!,' he roared as he took off southward with the roars and cheers bellowing out from the Kingdom

OOC: Yes Long again...had to put in the knighting ceremony.

Ziarre watched Lee run out of the Hall at top speed to the Gates. She heard what Alvadon had said to him and she soon made her way to the battlement overlooking the Gates, the one Shadow and Dark where sleeping at.

" What are you looking at?" Shadow asked as he awoke. Ziarre looked anxiously over the battlement's edge.
" Lee and the people of Sorian," she replied, hoping nothing bad would happen.
" I'm sure nothing will. Well, not while you're around anyway," Shadow replied rather smugly.
" Shut up Shadow!"

They watched the events between Lee and people unfold. The roudy roar of " For Valahria!" made Ziarre's heart soar. There was still hope after all.
___________________________________________________________________

Soon, Ziarre was attending the knighting ceremony of Jessica and Kayin. She agreed they both had proven their worth in battle, much more than anyone had expected them to. Ziarre only wished she could speak to them more, be a bit more friendly. That time will come, her conscious kept telling her.
___________________________________________________________________

Now, it was time to depart from the kingdom of Sorian. Ziarre had sung her last song atop of the battlement to the late King before making her way down to the Gates. Shadow was saddled and ready to go.

After the heroic send-off, Shadow had a hard time keeping up with Lee's furious pace.
" If he keeps it up, he'll never get there. He'll be too exhausted," the griffin huffed, soaring along in the winds above the riding party.
" Just leave him be for the moment Shadow. Let him had his adrenalin burst. He's like me. You know...." Ziarre answered back.
" Yes yes, I know."

As they rode, her mind was circling... what in the hell just happened? She smiled to herself... They had taken a break for their tired horses. She fed Flame some apples she had brought with her... it was her favorite food...

She walked over to a small set fire. So many things had happened? it was a lot to take in. She smiled? Lady Lanyca? it had a ring to it that made her smile. Her name would be written somewhere?. Somewhere where the name of her father would be remembered? even if she was not important? her father?s name was written. She missed him? and she would try her hardest to bring honor to that name.

She looked over and noticed Lee standing over the hill talking with James. They had all been riding the entire day? it was nice to stop for a while. She looked back toward flame and noticed Kayin smiling.

?What is it?? she said. She knew what it was. He too, was surprised with the appraise they were given.

?It?s all a little overwhelming, I guess? first, I?m just "Kayin Cloud"? and now I have the name Sir before it? I don?t know? it?s a good feeling though? to be recognized a little?? he said.

She laughed a little. ?Well I?m sure there will be a lot more recognition after this war is over.? She said smiling.

His face darkened. ?If we succeed that is.? He said quietly.

?Of course we will? we all have too much determination and reason to fail now.?

?Yeah, I guess so, but what about Thorin? he?s obviously planned this from the time of his expulsion. No doubt he has something in store for all of us in the future.?

?The future can be bleak, Kayin? but it?s what you do right now that changes it. So as far as I?m concerned, to look to the future? is a waste of time, unless you take charge of the here and now.?

Flame nudged her and she smiled warmly as she turned around to Flame. ?I fed you missy, you?ve got to carry me still. I can?t be riding to war on a fat horse.? She said.

She smiled back at Kayin and got up. ?We fight for those we love, Kayin? and we fight for our home? and if nothing else? we fight, because to give up would be folly. To lose hope would be meaningless? if I am to die? I?m not going without a fight.? He nodded solemnly and she smiled a little more. "Don't ever give up on hope... it's a gift that you should treasure... because without it, we're all as good as dead anyway."

She walked away and brought Flame a blanket. She thought about what she had said? she should be taking her own advice. She had lost her father? her mother? and her home village?

The pain of losing her father welled inside of her. She looked over and saw Lee? she knew what he was going through, and yet somehow he?s able to keep going. She frowned? she was ashamed for the way she was feeling earlier? she felt that since he was royalty, and that his father was important? that it made his grief less than hers. She felt wrong? she had compared situations?

She attended to Flame and walked over to him. He sat by the fire, just staring intently on it for a while. She approached him and he looked up. She was confused at first as what to do, and so she just stammered through her words.

?Um? may I speak with you? your highness?? she said softly. He nodded for her to go on? She suddenly wished she had not approach him in the first place?

?Well? your highness??

?Just call me Lee?.? He said. He could tell the formalities was new to her.

?I?m sorry? I usually don?t speak to royalty very much.? She said nervously. She felt a little better seeing him smile softly. ?I... I feel as if I should apologize for something.?

He looked at her strangely. ?For what??

?For something that had gone through my mind? you see? You know I lost my parents? in that battle?.? She stopped for a second as she composed her thoughts. ?And I know you lost your father? he truly was a remarkable king? But what I felt wasn?t empathy, it was more of? resentment??

He looked at her puzzled, and she knew she needed to explain. She sat next to him and just looked down? She waited for a while, she needed to explain this as best as she could... without confusing herself over her own words... she looked back up at him and he was waiting.

?I felt? that your pain wasn?t nearly as hard to deal with? because your father was a King? and that he would be remembered? However? in my case, my father was a valiant man, with a kind heart as well? though no one will remember him? because he was of the lowly class? it was wrong of me to do this? the death of a parent is a crushing blow, no matter who you are? the fact that your father will be remembered, would probably bring some comfort, but I?m sure it doesn?t lessen the pain. I was being? bitter toward you? and I?m sorry??

He looked at her for a while? he was silent. She felt a little awkward? maybe it was wrong to ask forgiveness from a King?

?There is no need for forgiveness, Jessica. I know you are hurting from your loss? I know you?re trying to forget the pain inside of you? but remember this? that pain won?t ever leave? but you can remember it? and it will help sustain you as you go on without them.?

Tears came to her eyes as she remembered them. She quickly looked away and dried them. She had lingered too long, and was suddenly embarrassed. ?Thank you?? she said quickly as she stood up to leave.

?Jessica?? he said. She stopped in her tracks and dried the rest of her tears. She looked back. And his face wasn't stern... it wasn't full of pity... it was... one of respect... something she hadn't expected from someone of Royalty...

He stood up at that point. ?There is no lowly class, Jessica? you may not be wealthy? but you are equal? there isn?t any difference as far as the value of my people.?

She looked at him and he looked like his father at that moment? she smiled. ?You?ll be a good King, Lee? your father would be proud.? He looked a little taken back by the statement she had made...

She smiled at him as another tear fell from her eyes. She walked away and sat over looking the area? she was starting to feel okay again.................

I wish i was in a cave right now....Tellazr thought to himself as he walked around in the dead of night while everyone else was asleep.I really don't like horses that much, either, but it's not like I can walk were we need to go...I complain to much, i need to stop thinking this stuff. Well, at least Jessica seemed to be in a better mood. Tellzar stopped on top of a hill, were he could still see the camp below should anything go amiss, but where he could see the stars clearly. He laid on his back and looked up. It was as if every star that was in the sky was looking upon him and liked what they saw, for they seemed to shine brighter for second, and then return to normal.
"Not my style, but i have to admit it's a beautiful site." he said to himself.
He remained there for what seemed like a century to him, stairing at the stars, then he heard foot steps near at hand and jumped up and spun around, axe drawn, he saw nothing, and just stood there, wondering if it had been his imagination when he was brutily hurled through the air from behind...When he came to he was laying on his back, with his axe beside him, the dark sky was turning gray as the sun startd to rise, he wondered how long he'd been unconcious, when he heard everyone in the camp below him start talking as they wondered were he was.
As Tellzar sat up he felt a peirceing pain run through his head and left shoulder blade, "Damnit, how could i have been so careless?" he asked himself
He reached down his tunic and chain mail and felt his medallion, wonderinng why it had not been taken, but happy that it hadn't been, then stood, swaying slighty from the diziness that swept over him, and then started to slowly make his way to the camp....

OOC: You guys can make whatever you like happen from this, short of killing me, i was intending to have some beasty attack, but i didn't have time too, so whatever flotes ur boat is cool with me.

The night before had not been a night for rest, so many things have occured to everyone that was involved with this war...good and bad. But it all seemed to go to the bad side of the deal, lives were lost but sprits were lifted to fight because of that to get revenge. Tears were dropped and blood boiled through everyone that was hurt, and their anger was only directed to the one person who stated this all....Thorian. After dinner that night everyone got quiet and just drifted off into space before they went to sleep. James layed his head down but he couldn't sleep a wink that night, something was still bothering him that hacked away at his head.

"I still can't believe King Sorain is dead....how can Lee be taking this so well. I think he's hiding all of his sorrow to aintain confidence in himself and the others that we can defeat Thorain. I had to go throguht he same thing when my parents and brother died but I wasn't as calm and in control as he was, that shows he'll be a strong leader to his people. " James thought as he sat up and stretched a bit, he was thinking so long he forgot to make sure the fire was lit, now it was dieing out. James heard somethig rustle in the trees next to them thanks to his good hearing, he looked over towards that direction and saw Tellzar walking up a hill to somewhere. "He probably wants to be alone" He though again, James couldn't get to sleep so he decided to practice shootng his arrows at a tree for the rest of the night. During battle he was a little off on his aiming, he slowly and carefully tiped-toed over the others who slept like logs. He passed by Aria and Kayin, but when h almost stepped over Jessica he stopped, he stood there firmly and gave a elves prayer to the lose of her family, and did the same when he came towards King Lee. James finally got deep enough in the woods to fire his arrows far and wide so they wouldn't hit anyone, a couple of hours later he saw the sun begining the rise.

"I didn't realize I was up so late *yawn* I'd better get back to camp" James sighed. He headed back and was greeted by Kayin and aria who were packing the suplies.

"Where did you go off to James?" Aria asked.

"Just practicing with weapons and such" James replied.

"We'll it looks like you didn't get any rest, their are bags uder your eyes" Kayin pointed out, at the moment King James came over to the three.

"Have any of you seen Tellzar lately?" Lee asked.

The night winds blew softly as he lay there, he sat up and looked around....making sure everything was ok...then he lay back down, He tossed and turned...the smell of the camp fires drifted up his nose, he rolled over and turned his back to it.....then he drifted off to sleep

'They are on to you......i will find you.......I search for you son of Sorian.....they will find you all...they will take what is rightfully mine..what should of been mine,' the voice entered his mind

'Go away....' whispered Lee in his sleep as he tossed and turned

'No!!...I want what is mine....I will have that medallion...I will have them all!!!!,' the voice replied so deadly

the shadow appeared....it's dark figure....so evil...it reached towards him, 'I want it!!,' spoke out the voice

'NO!,' roared Lee as he bolted up from where he slept, clutching his chest and the medallion as he has done many times before

Lee quickly looked around...noone had heard, he ran his hands through his damp hair

Looking around again he noticed the sun coming up, he stood up and went to a nearby river and washed his face...the coolness of the water brought his mind out of the dark hollow pit it was in.

He then walked around the camp site...everyone was up and they all looked confused

Lee looked around and noticed Tellzar was missing

'Have any of you seen Tellzar lately?' questioned Lee with a raised brow

They all shook their heads

At that moment there was a loud shrill cry from the air

Everyone was startled by it, they all looked up and noticed a pack of hideously deformed creatures, their eyes gazed upon them hungrily, then they nose dived towards them

'What the hell are those?' exclaimed James as they all drew their weapons,

'Quick move!!,' yelled Lee as he drew his bow and loaded an arrow, he aimed and fired, the arrow struck one of the winged beasts in the throat, the beast screamed like a human before dropping from the sky and landing only meters from them

'Make for the woods!!,' called Aria as they ran for the trees, as they entered the woods Lee looked back and saw that Veradon had gotten himself hooked up on a branch

'Veradon!!,' roared Lee as he took off across the field,

'Lee!!,' called Ziarre

Just on the otherside of the woods Tellar was being attacked by more hideous beasts but they weren't winged, he managed to meet up with the others after being attacked by four of them

'More are coming!!!,' roared Tellzar as he shredded one of the beasts in half

Lee ran as fast as he could towards Veradon but so did one of the winged beasts, it was a race...Lee's heart raced as he ran wildly towards Veradon who was pulling verociously at the bruch that had snagged his reins

'Veradon!!!!,' roared Lee as the winged beast flew passed him, 'NOOOOO!!!,'

Suddenly the medallion around his neck began to glow a pale blue

'YOU WILL NOT TAKE HIM!!!,' roared Lee as his eyes turned a pure white and his pupil turned red as he ran, 'VERADON!!,' he cried out

Veradon was suddenly ripped up off the ground before Lee could get there. Lee stopped dead in his tracks, the reins of Veradon hung on the brunch that held him, Lee slowly lifted his head...the medallion growing brightly on his chest, memories of his fathers death entered his mind..the arrow..the pioson...the hurting and now his horse...was now in the clutches of a beast that sored the skies....it's sight hideously frightening,

Lee then drew his bow and loaded an arrow....the bow and arrow glowed wildly

'To all that has been done and to all that will be done...for all to be free,' whispered Lee as he let the arrow fly...at that moment the arrow was engulfed in a white light and it soared towards the winged beast that held Veradon, at that moment the arrow ripped through the winged beast like a bullet, it travelled through its body and came out through its mouth, the beast didn't have time to cry out as it was ripped apart, blood showered down and so did Veradon who fell into the river, Lee ran to the side and jumped in, Veradon was trying desperately to swim back to the shore, Lee swam to him and grabbed what was left of the reins and pulled veradon back to shore, Veradon had a deep cut across his side, Lee quickly took off the saddle and threw it aside, Veradon lay on the ground resting from his fall

Lee looked around and saw the beasts without wings, the others had been pushed out into the clearing, He quickly covered Veradon up before the winged beast could see him, he smiled at Veradon and took off to aid the others

His eyes still white and the medallion still glowed

He looked around and saw a winged beast heading towards Ziarre who was trying to fight the beasts,

He ran as fast as he could as the winged beast touched the ground behind her, Lee ran up the beasts tail and jumped onto its neck, the beast screamed and took off into the sky with Lee holding on tightly, Lee managed to sit up draw his sword and drove it deep into the back of the neck of the beast which screamed, the beast plummited to earth and lee was thrown from it as it hit the ground hard, he slid across the dirt and gravel, grazing his side, he slowly stood up and looked around

A beast on foot began to run at him..Lee suddenly ran towards it, the beasts on foot had long razor sharp claws and teeth that looked like broken glass, Lee clashed with the beast and they fought hard until Lee drove his sword into it's head

Lee looked around him and saw Ziarre who looked back at him, he gave her a slight smile and took off towards another horde

OOC: in this battle you can either show abit of what the medallion does or you can go hard...what ever you like

Jessica woke to the sound of footsteps behind her... thinking it was Flame, she stood up slowly and stretched. As she stretched, she was ripped from the ground and thrown toward the tree. She looked behind her and saw three beasts about 7 feet in height that were surrounding her. She drew her sword and smiled as it glowed with the reds and greens her father had ordained it with in the brilliant sunlight. She waited for their attack and suddenly wondered where Flame was. She looked frantically as she kept her eyes on her attackers. There was no one around.

"Damn me and my sleeping habits!!" she said. One of the beasts growled at her and she charged. She thrust her sword into on of its legs and pulled it out, cutting off another beast?s limb. Both beasts fell to the ground, but still kicked hard as they made there way closer to her. She lifted her daggers as she went for the third and threw both of them into its heart. The Beast staggered back as she sliced the other two over the neck, killing them instantly. She looked at the third and the beast had pulled out the blades and held both of them in his claws. She moved back as she realized she had just made a mistake that could prove deadly. She went over to where she was sleeping, and caught eye of Flame... she was dead.

"NO!" she screamed. She walked over to Flame as the Beast threw one of the blades. It made it's mark in her shoulder. She yelled in pain as she picked up her sword and ran for the beast. She sliced it until all it's life was drained. She stared down at her prey and waited for her body to stop shaking. She looked at Flame who lay on the ground, half mutilated by the beasts. She took her sleep wrap and laid it over her.

She wasn't sure how much more she could take... she feared death... and it was happening all around her... she wanted to save the people... the ones she loved, but she failed them... and now this... the only thing she had left from her childhood... her friend... her only friend through those years... had left her as well. She dried her tears. The pain was too much for her to deal with... for her to ever have to deal with. She wouldn't allow it to take her over... she fought through it and put the pain... the loss in the back of her mind... she walked toward the hordes that were coming down the mountain. She looked up and saw the creatures with wings that seemed to be attacking along side them... she hated them all... she wanted each of the creatures to die... she was losing her mind... her sanity... and her will to go on. She drew out her sword. She would fight because that was her duty... and hopefully, reason would find her again.

Tellzar ran in circles, cleaving through his enemies with his waraxe, and smashing them with his mace. His left shoulder was starting to throb in an unberable pain, but he refused to release his grip on his waraxe. He spun around, and saw Jessica, standing alone, faceing a hord of enemies, and started to slowly make his way to her, though slow it was, for he was constantly having to repel attacks and return them. When he was finally clear of his assailants, he made a mad dash for Jessica. I failed once already to defend my mother, now, when i have made friends outside of the battle field, it would seem i am about to fail them as well, and what's ironic, is i owe her my life...
The first line of demons engaged her, she fought brilliantly, though there were more enemies around her than Tellzar could account for. One of the beasts got behind her without her noticing it, right when it seeemed it would kill her, it's sword aiming for the back of her throught, Tellzars medallion started to shine a deep blue. Then, in a desperate attempt to save her, Tellzar threw his waraxe at the beast, aiming for it's head. As his axe started to leave his hand, it was engulfed in a blue light the seemed to make it lighter, and when he knew it should have fallen short, his axe made it's mark, burying itself in the middle of the beast's head. Though i any other time he wouuld have been dumbfounded at what had just happened, he didn't even give it a second thought, because he knew if he hesitated, Jessica would get killed and likely him as well. So, running as fast as he could, given he was a dwarf and had short legs, he finally made it to Jessica. He reached down and pulled his axe free of the demons head, and stood back to back with Jessica, fighting for their lives.

Jessica noticed Tellzar beside her. She was thankful he had come, she was in over her head this time. Blood poured from her shoulder as she fought, the dagger still was inside her shoulder? She knew that if she ripped it out she would cause more damage to her arm? but fighting the way she was would not help anyone. She noticed others coming to aide them, and she held on to her consciousness for a little longer.

Tellzar looked at her, and noticed her stagger. ?Jessica?? he said.

?I?m fine? the others are coming, let?s just hope they get here quickly?? she said evenly. She wasn?t going to lose now? while everything around her was falling; she wanted to pay the bastard back who had taken everyone she loved away?

The blood made her feel faint as she fought hard, slicing her enemies one by one? she used the hatred inside of her to help her hold on. The others were fighting with them now, and she prayed that her will was strong enough to get her through? the dagger imbedded itself inside her, reminding her of Flame? her pain reached her heart, making her strength leave her even more? the enemy was losing, but she wouldn?t stop? her anger? her hurt? made her keep going? to repay what they had taken from her. And she was losing her strength with each enemy she killed.

Ziarre looked at Lee shocked.
" So that's some of his power. Amazing. I wish I could do that...." she whispered to herself. She half watched Lee fight the demons off with such fury that she was actually a little afraid of him.

More demons came for the onslaught. She released her arrows but they didn't have any effect on the thick-hided demons.
" Curse them!"
One of them swung at her. She flipped over backwards one-handed to move out of the way.
" That's it. I'm starting to get really pissed off at these things."
Her eyes narrowed. The beast suddenly burst into flames. It screamed, trying to put itself out. In a matter of seconds, Ziarre had notched an arrow and released it to strike it in its forehead. The demon reeled backwards and landed with a heavy thump, dead on the ground.

Another surge of demons came her way.
" Oh that's it. I've had enough of you vile creatures for today!" Ziarre screamed in frustration. Dark landed on Ziarre's shoulder. Ziarre's eyes turned brilliant red. The raven flew up into the sky and burst into flames. A piercing flacon cry echoed from him as he dived for the wave of demons.

As the phoenix passed each demon, they caught alight. The fire was magical, not able to be put out. Soon, they were all burned alive. Screams echoed through the air. Ziarre looked away, unable to stomach what her medallion's powers could do, even to the Enemy. Their screams soon died away. Ziarre regained her composure, still with her eyes closed.

" I hate my powers......."

OOC:  Hope you get it up soon Heero ;)

It wasn?t long before Lee and the other medallion holders came to their side. Jessica looked at Tellzar and smiled. They were going to be okay. She made her way toward them, the pain in her shoulder bringing her down. She knew she wouldn?t last long.

She walked over to Lee and James who were fighting the new wave of beasts. James looked at her and instantly saw the dagger in her shoulder.

?Jessica, you shouldn?t be fighting like this!? he said, Lee turned around and noticed it too at that point. She laughed a little at the apparent concern. ?This is a war, your highnesses, and I would keep my attention on it instead of my shoulder.? She said with a painted smile. She knew they knew she needed rest, and so she walked away, defending, and hoping no trouble would follow her as she tended to her shoulder.

She went behind a stone wall imbedded in the side of the hill and pulled out her medicines. She tended to the wound and pulled the dagger out. She tried not to look at it, just so she would stay conscious. She cleaned it and waited as the shaking in her body would not stop? she thought about Flame?. And the way she died. Her body shuddered? this wasn?t the time. She got back up and finished bandaging her wound, as she staggered again and almost fell back. She came out from behind the wall, only to be thrown back toward it as two beasts made its way toward her. She tried to get up from the wall, but the pain was too much for her?. She pulled out her sword and lost conciousness.

Tellzar was slowly being forced back, having finally dropped his waraxe. He hoped the others could hold them without his help, because there were so many, however he could not chance staying there any longer.
As he started to slowly retreat, two of the demons made it past him. His first instinct was to spin around face them, but the enemies to his front prevented him from doing that. He knew what this meant, that his death was at hand, so he stilled his heart and waited...and felt nothing. As he stood there he wondered why he had not been killed, and as he was starting to ponder this, a sharp pain in his left side brought him back to the world and he smashed a demons skull in with his mace that had pierced his chain shirt and stabbed his side. Though it was not a serious wound, that combined with the fact that he was fatigued and already wounded, he started to feel light headed and decided it best to hide untill he was able to fight again, so he headed for the closest place he could find, which just happened to be a stone wall embedded in the hill.
When he turned the corner that would sperate him from the enemy, he was face to face with the two demons that had made it past him, one of them seemed to be leaning over a body. It was hard to say which was more surprised, the demons or Tellzar, but there was no argument as to who recovered first. Tellzar raised his mace before the closest demon had time to recover and brought it around from his left side to his right , smashing in the demons left hip. What made the other demon turn around was the audible crunch of bones as Tellzar's mace connected with the demons side. When it hit the ground and the other demon looked at it, all it saw was a mangled creature on the ground , the only part of it above the waist that was recognizable being it's face.
The demon let out a snarl of rage, and charged. Tellzar stood ready, but the demons strength was great just as his was, and as their weapons met, his mace went flying, and the demon's sword flew in the other direction. They locked up, fingers intertwined, and it became a test of strength. Their muscles stretched to their limits, and the demon started to force Tellzar down. When he hit his knees, he slowly raised his head, and looked the demon in the eyes, it smiled, opened it's mouth, and went to bite him.
Once again, when death seemed inevitible, he was saved. The demon stopped and started to gurgle as it tried to growl through it's own blood, and fell to it's back. Tellzar looked up, and saw Jessica against the rock wall, hand extended, and a smile on her face.
"Thanks...I owe you one." Tellzar said.
"Consider us even..." replied Jessica and blacked out.
Tellzar pulled her knife free of the demons neck, retrieved his mace, and limped over to Jessica, sat down beside her, checked her pulse, and blacked out as well.

OOC: Ok i'm back!....well don't know how long for...but oh well......The adventure to Vorn begins!

IC:

Lee looked around, there was so many of them, he looked back and saw Tellzar and Jessica both laying on the ground...unconcious, he then looked at James and the others...everyone was getting tired..there was so many of them

Lee then again looked around as he struck down a beast....

'Damn beasts....' growled Lee as the medallion around his neck began to glow even more as his angry boiled inside of him, 'THIS ENDS NOW!!!,' he roared

At that moment his whole body was suddenly lifted from the ground as the medallion pulled him upwards...Lavitating off the ground...he looked lifeless....his eyes a glowing white..he was then engulfed by a white glow....his head suddenly fell foreward..as his arms stretched out to the side...his hair whipped around his face...suddenly his head flung up

'die......' he whispered as balls of light shot out from the white orb that engulfed his body, the beasts screamed...their voices echoed around them.....as their souls were torn from their bodies..everyone watched on as every beasts was turned inside out..but their souls screamed

The souls were sucked into the orb to where Lee floated helplessly and the absorbed by the medallion as soon as it finished...Lee dropped to the ground and landed in a heap....he felt weak....and his body shook as if cold

'Lee...' called James as everyone looked at him

'I'm ok......,' spoke Lee as he shook his head and slowly stood up, 'Veradon,'

Veradon stood up from where Lee had hid him away and galloped towards Lee, Veradon stopped beside him and Lee leant against him for support

'Quick, someone grab Jessica and Tellzar...there's a town called Saedon about 5 miles south...it's in the direction of Vorn plains...we'll go there...and rest,' spoke Lee as he forced himself upon Veradon who wore no saddle..after it being torn by the winged beasts, Lee gripped Veradons main

'I know we are all tired....but we must leave this place at once....,' spoke Lee, 'We will rest better at Saedon,'

He then turned and looked at Ziarre....and smiled....something about her always caught his eye

OOC: So sorry, I'm trying to keep up.

Aria landed uneasily on the ground, worn from fighting the beasts. She heard what Lee had said about going to the next town. She spotted Jessica and Tellzar together, both unconscious. She strapped her staff that concealed her twin blades to her back and bent down to lift Jessica. She used a little bit of her left over power to make carrying the girl lighter and flapped into the air, flying slightly crooked. She saw the others below and wheeled around until the others were ready. After someone picked up Tellzar they started to move off toward Saedon.

Everyone was tired and most had some sort of wound. Aria herself had a gash on her left cheek where one of the beasts had hit her.

Aria thought back to home, what she would be doing if she hadn't left to come on this crazy adventure. She pictured her parents and knew that she was going on this quest for her parents and her kingdom.

Aria's arms ached painfully, and the weight of the girl cradled in them wasn't helping much. She felt Jessica stir slightly and wondered if she would awaken before they got there, because a moving cargo would be even harder to hold on to.

"5 Miles and we can rest." Aria mumbled to herself as she flew, keeping at the same pace as the others on the ground.

The group was tired and very hurt thanks to the battle, but they all knew they needed to get to the town of Saedom if they were going to be safe from any more attacks for the moment. everyone had gotten sore or hurt during the fight, Jame's shooting arm was cut three times by one of the monsters claws that scratched him before James killed the beast. He looked around and saw that everyone had their own sot on their body that was hurting badly at the moment, Tellzar and Jessica were out cold which made the group hurry their journey to Saedom. Kayin had grabbed Tellzar after Aria picked up Jessica.

"Do not despair friends, we only have 3 more miles to go until we reach Saedom. I know your all tired but we have to get there soon" Lee spoak up to the others who were behind him, for some reason his words gave them enough energy to move on with their task of walking. The journey continued as the sun reached its peak at the top of the sky, the temperature got a bit hot, but thankfully there were large tree's to give the group shade. While walking James and Ziarre picked up some herbs and healing plants they could use to make mdicine out of when the group got to the town. At last, their destination was i sign, the town of Saedom, everyone was reliefed and felt a bit lighter on their feet.

"Alright, lets find an Inn so we can rest up" Lee commanded and they set off into the town.

*Sorry its so short, have to go back to class*
