[COLOR=DarkRed] There was no famine. There was no disease. There was no war. Peace was all that existed within the galaxy and has existed for the last 200 years. The pinnacle of political achievement it was so called, as the great planets put down their arms and shook hands instead. With this new unification grew a new, unifed military. Men and women that were once enemies stood side by side working together for the greater good of the Confederation. As the two centuries of peaced slowly went by, the need for the unified military slowly went away as well. The size of the once mighty cooperative force slowly shrank, as applications to military acadamies and so forth became almost a rarity.
Even though there was peace, many felt within the governing senate that the military should be kept at its original strength, but time slowly staved the notion, and military numbers continued to fall. Eventually as the Confederacy turned 200 years old, the military that consisted of over 100,000 ships consisted of a mere 15,000. There was one bright future for the military, a young captain by the name of Endymion. He'd graduated from the military university at an unprecedented age 19, and became a captain 2 years later. Now at 22, he's in command of the fleets most advanced ship, a mix between battleship and scout cruiser, the only Interceptor-Class ship produced, before ship production was halted. The rest of the fleet is made up of older models of various class ships.
Recently odd signals have been received on the outskirts of the eastern edge of the galaxy. Endymion's ship, the Twilight, and her crew must join with the small patrol fleet in the vicinity of the signals and investigate.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Navy]PC's will play members of the Twilight's crew. Each specialization works in a different part of the ship, but some non-control peronnel work on the bridge. Inter-specialization interactions do occur, mostly on recreation decks, the cafeteria deck, and crew quarters.

Personality: A good-hearted and talented leader, often balk his pro-military stances during the current era of Peace. He cares about every member of his crew and considers them friends. He is fiercely loyal, but can seem arrogant and stubborn sometimes.

Bio: Born on Allerja, one of the core worlds, young Endymion was raised by his widowed mother. His father was tragically killed in a military mishap. His mother helped his military ambitions grow as many portrayed his father as a hero in a peaceful time. Not wanting to diminish his name, Endymion focused much of his energy into strategy, politics, command techniques, systems works, and other aspects of military order. He was brought up well, his mother actually a member of Allerja's royal family, and was given every opportunity to succeed, which he took. Upon enrollment in the Junior Military Academy, Endymion was a golden student, aceing nearly every assignment. He looked for more of a challenge entering the Military Academy and doubled his workload, enabling him to be the youngest graduate in history. He served on the flagship of the Confederation's spaceforces for two years before achieving the rank of captain. A year after gaining his new rank, the young Captain was given a command of his own. The Twilight became his new home (thanks to his grandfather pulling some strings, unbeknownst to the grandson). Sitting on the bridge gives him an un-rivaled exhilaration as he's given his first assignment. He wants his crew to consider him a friend, but also respect him as a commander on duty. He can joke around sometimes, but his father's arrogance can creep up sometimes as his mom has pointed out in the past. [/COLOR][/SIZE]

[b]Personality:[/b] Thoughtful. Quite. Sympathetic. Wise. Disciplined. Collective. These are the words that most would use to describe Si.

Usually she can never been seen without a smile on her face. Nothing can faze her spirits even in the most dire moments, she stays indifferent. Si always keeps a positive appearance and tries to condole the other members when they're down. She seems to be able to relate or have a high understanding of others.

However, Si is dramatically quite and does not work well along side others for a long period of time. Usually if working with a partner for more then a week she'll speak about the aggravation of the situation to those in charge. Or send in a request or complaint against her self. But being wise, she'll never disagree with her superiors or co-workers.

[b]Bio:[/b] Starting out at age fifteen, Si was enrolled into the academy of the Unified Military. Si had detested the thought of anything 'Unified." Thinking that there was no such thing. And that any subject or matter relating to 'unification' would surely end in failure. 'History repeats it's self.' During her first year her classes had focused mainly on collecting and analyzing data. The girls persona and out look remained indifferent, it did so for the next year fallowing.

Si's thoughts on the idealism behind 'unification' had changed dramatically. Although she still thought it'd end in failure Si loved the evidence that humanity was making great strides towards the ideal. It was what motivated her to plunge further into her commitment. Allowing her to become more active and understanding of others. Unlike the first two years, the third went by slower. Mainly due to how she spent her time. It had been managed out by one of her instructors.

The instructor was one that was specialized in teaching engineering and a small amount of medicines. They grew to become best friends. the more she got to knew him the more she admired him, the instructor soon became a genus and a hero. Learning his study patterns and developing her own allowed her self more time to learn of the Unified Military academies out side of her own.

After her graduation day, all of the relations she had drifted. Si grew to be one of those types; you could be recognized simply by righting or speech for her wisdom and intelligence. But at the same time, she grew more secluded with emotions.

Personality: Cynical to a fault on the outside but deeply compassionate for others on the inside. Luna's the type of person who will listen to all your probelms paitently while patting you on the back as you ball your eyes out. She loves dry humor and sarcasism although the chances of a smile being spotted on her face are a million to .001. She hides most of her emotions behind an excellent poker face, which very few people have cracked. Although she will help people with their problems Lunanaya Freya keeps her own to herself. She's a tad bit of a neat freak, her quarters are absoultly spotless. She's always poliet and has a noble air to her due to her upbringing.
Appearance: As seen in picture, except her hair is pinned back into a bun during operations and the like or at important meetings. She also wears rectangular glasses when her contacts are out.
Bio: Born of a family of wealthy upper-class buisness men and women on the planet Tomb-ay Lunanaya Feya Marina Morven she was showered when everything she ever wanted all her childhood. The saying "When your parents buy you anything you want instead of actually "parenting", the offpspring will either end up totally spoiled or irrecoverably jaded" applies to her, and guess what, she ended up with the short end of the stick and became the latter. The only thing that slightly resembled love that she recieved form her mother was her name. Her first and middle name same from her mother's ancient russian ancestory, her first name meaning 'moon fairy' and her middle name meaning 'sea fairy.' Once Luna learned to read at the age of 2 years and people first bgan to call her a proidgy, she cracked the meaning of her name and her inflation with the moon(s) of an planet had yet to cease. She sped through the standard years of school graduating high school at age ten. (Of course she was privatetly totured through high school,thusly she had very little hope of ever getting a friend due to the fact that she was not allowed off the grounds.) She went to the absolute best medical school with a full scholarship and graduated from *that* in a mere 4 year out of a standard 8 years. After returning home the little time that her paretns were not away on buisness they were despratetly trying to marry her to one of their many buisness partners' sons. Luna resented this, and it tainted her whole outlook on love something horrid, resulting in her shunning any possile love interest and running away from home at 15. She ended up enrolling in the junior military academy, one look at her test scores got her in. She absoloutley loved her life there, the fact that she was there pretty much made it offical that she would be put on a starship, able to cruise by one of her beloved moons. At 20 she was assigned to the starship Twilight and eventually she worked her way up to 2nd Lieutenant, the youngest ever recorded in history.

[B]Personality:[/B] A bit of a daydreamer yet quick to react, Dione holds a natural curiousity, revealing how caught up she can become in her work. When in a task, she is sober, calm, and difficult to distract. She enjoys the company of others with a friendly attitude. However, if frustrated or distressed, she prefers to remain alone and deathly silent. If anything, Dione is far from an emotionless expression. Her personality, in general, is animated and lively- she is not one to hold her emotions back.

[B]Bio:[/B] At the wee age of five, Dione's parents had divorced due to an affair on her mother's behalf. Through the years spent on her home planet Iola, she remained with her father, who was a scientist at heart; it was assured he would be found doing research instead of sleeping. Wanting to spend time with him, Dione would scuffle through his notes with a child's awe and interest. This was what had sparked her thrirst for studying chemistry.

Dione transfered to the Military Academy at the age of seventeen, her father proud and supportive. The next three years had been put through learning added chemistry, astronomy and a small course of physics. She was not rather fond with studying physics; this was what led her to revise only a section. That year, Dione had then been assigned to the Twilight, her studies and data then becoming vital.[/SIZE]
