Corey
Black Horizon: Smoke and Mirrors ??? ? This RPG is a continuation of my previous Black Horizon RPG (BH: Deimos Rising). ? New entrants are required to read the prior RPG (click here). It will take a while, but it will give you a better idea of what's going on. ? All new entrants will be playing the part of a colonist on one of the two Deimos colonies. If you decide to be on the second colony you will not immediately meet up with the crew. You can play, but you'll be going solo for a while which takes a little more skill than playing inside of a group. ? I'd also like someone to play the part of Admiral Rawson. It's not mandatory, but it would make things a lot more interesting. Rawson is going to play a pivotal role. You also have to be willing to take a little bit of guidance from me. ??? Deimos One. Roughly a month earlier. Murdok- "So how's it going Marcus?" He sat down at the table and started eating his food. A corn muffin, mashed potatoes, gravy, and turkey. All simulated by the way. Not much food was genuine in space. It was all engineered from protein and other things essential to a body. It tasted good enough though, he dug in. Marcus- "Not bad John. I think we're going to start into F sector today. Wouldn't surprise me. The guys over on two have really been workin' great." Murdok nodded and took a swig of water. Murdok- "How long before critical depth?" Marcus shrugged. Marcus- "Couldn't tell ya... They're keeping that info sealed. When we get there I'm sure we'll be told. Goddamn it... I don't even know why we're out here. I was told we'd be ******* studying the damn moon for possible long term colonization. But all were doing is-" Murdok- "Shhhh!" He looked around slowly. "Did you hear that?" They were the only two that ever ate this time of night. When they had first gotten to the colony it was graveyard shift all the time. They were still running on that bodily clock. Marcus sighed. Marcus- "Stop screwing around. That worked once. And we're not even down there this time. Just eat your fo-" Murdok- "Shut up!" John Murdok was staring across the cafeteria, his food forgotten. He'd heard scampering. Early on, they had had a rat problem, but that was all taken care of. Besides... It didn't sound like rats... Bigger... And faster. "Do you hear that?" Marcus listened intently. He snapped his head upward to the ventilation ducts. Marcus- "What the bloody hell..." He stood up. "What do you think it is Joh-" The ceiling grate fell through and a odd looking insect-esk creature glared at them. It rose up on it's four back legs and let out a piercing scream. Marcus pissed his pants. "My God! What is that!?" Murdok shook his head and starting backing up toward the rear door. Murdok- "I don't know... But I don't think it's safe! Run!!" They ran down the corridor, the thing scampering in close pursuit behind them. "To the tunnel! The connection tunnel!" Marcus made it through the hatch and watched as John Murdok was dragged back by the head. A loud scream was heard and finally a life ending crunch. He slammed the door and layed down on the floor whimpering. Something ahead of him made a kind of chittery rasp. Marcus looked up, the scent of urine deep in his nose. About five feet away another one of the creatures was perched from the ceiling, staring at him with unmistakable hunger and malice. He closed his eyes as the thing advanced, faster than any earthly being could go. It stabbed into his chest with one of it's sharp and extremely hard legs. One of his lungs deflated like a popped balloon. The being screamed with delight and severed an arm. Marcus tried to scream but came up with just a whisper. He opened iihs eyes only to see the thing lowering it's beak-like jaws to his face. ??? The Ship, Present The alarm blasted across the ship. Something was wrong. Very wrong. That alarm wasn't supposed to go off unless the ship and crew were in very mortal danger. Allan sat up. Avlen jumped off of the bed and look around very confused. Allen pulled on his pants and bounded over to the intercom. Allen- "Everyone to your stations! This is a code red emergency!!" He didn't even know what was going on, much less why the alarms had gone off. "Get to your station Avlen." He kissed her quickly and ran out of the room toward the bridge, pulling on a shirt in the hall. He heard his door open and Avlen heading the other way. The alarm blared. He ran to the bridge and jumped through the doors before they were even finished opening. "What's going on?!" Sam was in the pilots seat, fighting with the controls and. Everyone else was either at their station or watching through the front viewport as Deimos loomed into view. Sam- "Allen! The ships lost all thrusters! Deimos' gravity is pulling us in! I can't stop us or avoid it! we're going to ******* crash!!" Allen's face drained of color. He ran to the intercom. Allen- "Everyone! Get to the gravpouches ASAP and set them to crash-landing! We're going down! Repeat, we are going down!" Everyone on the bridge ran from the room and to the pods they had gotten out of not even a day ago. Allen bounded into the room and waited for the rest of the crew. Gabriella came in last, half-carrying Rawson. He helped her get him into a pod and got into one himself. She closed her pod and he closed his. The proximity alarm blared across the ship. ??? Sign-ups Name: Post Modern. Age: 20-50 Appearance: A picture will do, but I'd prefer a description. Short Bio: Why you decided on being a colonist and everything. No need to go too in depth about after you got to Deimos., I didn't release a lot of info for a reason ??? Good luck. Prior members of the crew that wish to survive need to post a bio too. This will be open for roughly a week. Any questions please PM me. I'll start an underground thread tomorrow.
Gavin
The story continues, Van shall make his reappearance after that X-rated scene with Trini. Sign-ups Name: Gavin Ambrose, known mostly as "Doc" or "Van" Age: 54 Appearance: As seen here, although Van sports a neatly trimmed beard the same color as his hair Short Bio: Gavin Edward Ambrose was born on July 2nd 2047 in the Republic of Ireland, the same year as the ill-fated Lewis and Clarke mission. His father Malcolm Ambrose was a Doctor by profession and was overjoyed at the birth of a son, his mother Fiona Ambrose was a Biologist who worked in a military R&D facility. Van was to be first of two sons (His younger brother David was born on February 17th 2049) and from youth expressed a deep interest and almost connection with the life around him. Malcolm noticed his young son's affinity for life and thought quietly to himself that he'd made a good doctor. Years passed and it was apparent that Van possessed a very keen mind, he easily worked his way through school and topping his class in the Leaving Certificate. His passion for life hadn't diminished if anything it had grown stronger, and at 18 he chose to go on to follow in his father's footsteps in becoming a physician. He found his chosen profession to be at times almost blissful in terms of enjoyment, other people chose Medicine because it paid well later in life, Van chose it because he loved life itself. At the age of 23 he began going out with one of his co-workers by the name of Karen Price. Karen was everything Van had wanted in life, she was funny, caring, compassionate and possessed the same love for her job as Van did. The two were married a year and a half later on May 19th 2072 in what was to be one of the most memorable days in Van's life. After a few months Van decided to move back home to Clonmel City in Tipperary with his new wife and took over his dad's practice. Almost a year after that on August 17th 2073 Karen gave birth to Edward David Ambrose Van's first and what proved to be only son. As much as Van enjoyed his work in his father's practice he just felt that something was missing, something he couldn't put his finger on. Then one night about 10 years later Van came home to find police waiting at his front door, they told Van that there'd been and car crash and that he'd have to come down to the morgue to identify a pair of bodies who they believed were his wife and son. Van's soul seemed to shatter in that instant, every memory he had with them seemed to flood into his mind?s eye, the joy, the love and now the pain. Van knew that it was Karen and Edward even before they pulled off the sheet, his face went paler than death as he gazed upon lifeless bodies of his wife and son. Van seemed to turn to drink shortly after that, in the hope of making the pain go away, he would sit in his office with the blinds closed sipping away at some kind of alcoholic drink. In the end Van realised that he wouldn't drink away his sorrow and decided to leave Ireland for a few years to see the world, and hopefully get over what had happened. Van had seen horrors of the world, now he wished to see it's beauties, four years later in 2084 he returned to Ireland with a mind set on rebuilding his life. He decided to join the Army in the hope that it would help fill the remainder of the void that was still left in his soul, the first few weeks were the worst but eventually he was able to get over it and make new friends. Time progressed quickly for Van his already formidable skills in Medicine granted him early promotions in the Army, eventually reaching the rank of General at the age of 52. Two years later Van heard though "unofficial" channels about a mission to recover the recently reappeared Event Horizon, foregoing his Army title he volunteered under his medical credentials and was selected for the mission under the command of one Allen Chubbs. That was to be a mission that Van would never forget, for it was to change his life forever. Van set out on that mission as the Ship's doctor, a job which he believed would have him treating cases of space-sickness or possibly an injury caused by an over zealous engineer, he was wrong, very wrong. That was the mission from or very possibly to hell for the Bladerunner crew, which culminated in Van sacrificing himself by throwing himself and Weir in the gateway opened by Weirs engine aboard the Event Horizon. While there Van's body was genetically and physically altered by a force unknown and he was sent back through the portal before being rescued by Captain Chubbs. After his return the crew was forced to take down their fallen comrade Ruben Thorne and get back to Earth, Van was one of only four to have survived that accursed mission. They managed to escape the ship and after getting back to Earth Van settled into some well-deserved shore leave, although there was the oddity that he looked and physically read 20 years his junior. After a mere two weeks into his shore leave Van was called along with Sam, Trini and Allen to once again tempt their fate against the creatures released into our universe by Weir's engines. While travelling to Deimos Van was placed into a coma by an unknown entity, once the ship had arrived at Deimos Van awoke fully aware that there was a sinister force controlling the creatures down on the moon below. Before the ship crashed he engaged in a romantic affair with Trini, revealing feelings to her that he had felt for a long time. Van made it to the gravity couches just before the ship crashed although what happened in the aftermath is still fairly fuzzy. OK it's not really a short bio although it's really just a paste of my old biography with some new information at the end.
Ezekiel
Name: Jamie Elizabeth Nesbitt Age: 30 Appearance: Jamie Jamie stands at 5'8'' and is never seen without her glasses. She usually likes to dress smart but comfortable, always making sure that she looks presentable. Short Bio: Jamie always enjoyed working and learning about nature from when she was a teenager. Her first real job was working at a vet, just doing basic cleaning up after hours and making sure the animals were fed. Jamie thrived in that environment but never took it any further; her family wondered why she never became a vet, even though she had the capabilities. What the young girl, only 19 at the time, really wanted to do was travel. She knew that she wouldn't travel much as a vet so she instead took up a carrier as a scientist, specialising in biology. After finally getting her degree, Jamie travelled to places like Africa and South America, doing in depth studies on species that little was known about. Two years later, after travelling many miles and making somewhat of a name for herself, Jamie heard about the colonies in space. She decided that her next step would be to move to one of the colonies, there she would be able to study new life forms that she would never get a chance to study on earth. After moving to the first colony, Jamie got to know a few people around her but never socialised much, preferring to stay within the groups of people she knew. She now works for a lab that studies alien life forms. She captains a team that are usually sent out on missions to find a new species of bacteria, seeing as that really is the only other organism on Deimos, and she loves her job, even though some encounters have a been a little close for comfort. The team has, on more than one occasion, found traces of a new disease. ---- I eddited my bio so now I'm a bacteria scientist O_o if it still needs changing, then PM or IM me..
Annie
Okay Corey, I promise you, I'll be here for this one ^_^ By the way, beautiful entry. Name: Vivian D'Andros Age: 24 Appearance: Height- 65cm (5'5"); Weight- 120lbs; Vivian is normally seen wearing tattered, worn-through garments. A simple pair of grey, pliable and very warm thermal legings (kind of like tights, but thicker), boots, a thining, dull jade sweater that is oversized, and a pair of fingerless, brown gloves which are also slightly oversized. Her hair, choppy and pitch black, is always dishelved. Months of insomnia and malnutrition resides in her eyes, hollowing them slightly into her skull and forming dark circles beneath them. Short Bio: Vivian was born and raised on Earth, lived a normal life, went to school, college, the normal American life. She received her Masters in Satellite Systems/Communications under NASA's newest form in schooling, AstroNASA University. During the recent missions of the Blade Runner, Vivian was assigned to a brand new laboratory and communications settlement on Deimos. Without hesitation, Vivian took up the mission and was meritoriously awarded the rank of Captain. She, nor any of her commadres, had any idea as to what was decided to go through Deimos. After the Blade Runner mission was complete, Vivian and her crew were scheduled to switch with an auxiliary team back on Earth. However, the mission did not carry out as planned. This leaving Vivian and her crew in a very tight disposition. They were left on Deimos with barely enough food to sustain them for two years and weak transmissions from the settlement to Earth. Those were rare occasions. Months passed and her crew grew restless, or insane; attacking one another for "food", betraying one another, and even mutiny against Vivian. Several attempted assassinations on her life forced Vivian to escape elsewhere in the settlement. The other crews of different missions paid her no respect as a woman or as a Captain, casting Vivian further into depression and into the depths of the settlement. Several more months passed, Vivian lived in solitude, feeding off of what she packed (MREs mostly) and dropping in on her section of the settlement. while the remaining crew were asleep, to steal whatever she could. The last espionage to the crew's sector, Vivian found the area completely empty. No shread of evidence that a crew had lived there at all. No papers, no clothing, absolutely nothing. Confused and cautious, Vivian crept about silently. Scatters and clicking echoed throughout the abandoned sector. Vivian just shrugged it off as her imagination. A slight fuzz filled the musty air, interrupted with crackled frantic shouts and cries. It was a transmission from the second mission to Deimos; their ship was plummiting straight for the settlement. Revelation
Name: Gabriella Kim MacGuire Age: 32 Appearance: Standing at a fair 5'5, Gabriella has a fairly tanned skin with full lips, along with beautiful, hazy gray eyes. Her hair is a layered, glistening dark brown streaked with dark golden brown highlights. She has seven piercings and three tattoos on her body. The three tattoos are placed at the base of her neck, the small of her back, and on her pelvic region. She wears her piercings on her naval, ear lobes, upper cartilage, and tongue. She has a horizontal scar on her right bicep and a stab wound on her left rib. Gabriella prefers to wear clothing that is comfortable and conservative, but at times she will wear styles that are a bit revealing and sensual. She despises the fact that people look to her and compliment on how she would look wondrous in a dress or skirt, it just isn't her style. She loves to dress in baggy pants, dark colored tank tops, perhaps a jacket or zip-up hoody vest, and tennies. It was how she was raised to dress. Short Bio: In the Past... Training for the day to come, Gabriella was never pushed to uphold the familiy tradition of going into the military, it was what she had always wanted to do. She had been at many military camps, academies, and various training schools that her father and mother registered her for. She was proud to bring the family job down the line for the reason that her mother was an ex-Navy and her father an ex-Marine. They were both proud that she would take upon the role of being in the military. But plans suddenly changed when, at the age of 13, Gabriella mustered up the courage to tell her mother and father that military life was not for her. She was determined to enter the S.W.A.T. team down in Los Angeles, where she was born. She knew that this decision would become such a catastrophe in her home, but quickly found that her parents knew how she felt and in doing so, didn't push her to go or attend the academies, training facilities, and etc. They merely told her about the places and she was pleased to hear about the places. It wasn't the parents' fault nor her's that Gabriella's choice had changed. During a time at one of the camps, Gabriella received message that her parents were killed. Sorrow and vengeance replaced that of which was innocence and joy in Gabriella's heart. She did not know what to do or how to act around people. She wasn't herself anymore. She had turned into girl with a calloused heart, jaded eyes, and a dark expression upon her face. She became distant and asocial, never speaking to anyone nor allowing anyone to conversate with her. Gabriella kept to herself for the longest time. She hated herself for going away and not being able to help her parents. It pained her and even angered her to think about their death. When such anger and sorrow arrived in her heart, she did not take it out on herself nor on others, she suppressed those emotions for the time being. But over the years, those emotions grew and grew within her, but did not consume her. It did not inflict any harm or trauma to herself, but merely distanced herself more from people that cared for her. At the age of 18, Gabriella was admitted to become an intern for one of the S.W.A.T. members in Los Angeles. There, she made a name for herself and became well-known and well-respected. No one questioned her authority or otherwise. The hardened years gave her a new view upon life, a more open and realistic vision. It gave her new insight on everything, which made Gabriella more open to anything ever since. Her perspective on everything changed, but still her heart remained silent and shut from all, never allowing anyone to enter. Nearly 7 years later, Gabriella was asked to join a captain and his crew. She did not know what the mission was nor why she was asked, but it seemed apparent that they needed someone of her talent and abilities to provide them whatever information they needed, which was why she accepted. She knew nothing about the mission, who was arriving with the captain, or what would happen. All she knew was that it was what her parents would have wanted. In the Present... Alarms were blaring all around, all were racing to the pods to be, once again, drenched in disgusting gunk. Gabriella had heard the alarms and ran towards the pods, but stopped midway and looked back. She hesitated, knowing that the admiral was on board. With a sigh, Gabriella ran towards where the admiral was held. When upon finding him, she put his arm over her shoulder and she hurried as fast as she could before the ship came crashing into the moon's gravitational hold. Beads of sweat dropped from her forehead as she was seen near the pod room. Allen was there, knowing that not all of his crew were present. Breathing heavily, the admiral was taken from her arms and helped Allen put him into a stasis pod. She looked to Allen and he helped her into a pod, before stepping into one himself. Thoughts ran throughout her head, not knowing what to expect when the ship came crashing down. It wasn't exactly devistating, or dramatic, but just the mere thoughts of what they might find or what would happen constantly played in her head. But soon, she fell asleep, not unconciously, but because of the chemicals that the stasis pod produced. It put her into a comatose-like state, that allowed her to feel nothing. What would happen next, no one knew, only God himself.
Corey
I probably hsould have done this earlier. Not everyone is proficient with the solar system. Deimos is a moon of Mars. In Greek, Deimos means panic. It's roughly 15km x 12.2km x 11km. Their composition is mostly carbon-rich rock and ice, barely any atmosphere. There are two colonies, connceted by an underground tunnel, about 1000 yards apart. The first colony has about 70 inhabitants and is more of a living place. The second is home to about 25 people and is more of a working facility. The official reason they are there is to scout sites, and start setting up, for permanent housing colonies and relay stations. What they're actually doing isn't going to be released, though I'm sure you can get the gist of it if you read carefully. The colonies have been overrun with the beings from the other dimension for about a month. It's the reason the Deimos mission (Captained by Allen Chubbs) was originally dispatched, to investigate the abnormal biological readings coming from the colonies. The reading matched the two different sets of reading the original Event Horizon mission took and the ones the Bladerunner took. There is no natural animal or plant life on Deimos, except maybe bacteria. Please edit bios accordingly. I'm also going to make it mandatory to go and reread the RPG. I know I said that it wasn't but I"ve changed my mind. It will give people a better idea of what's going on. And if you want a real good idea, go rent the movie Event Horizon. It's what this series is based on.
Raiha
Name: Genefee Ryan Age: 29 Appearance: For a viewing of her grandmother, see attatchment. Our hero is about 5'6" with light skin, dark gold eyes, short brown hair, and full lips. Her figure is slender, but not frail. Genefe wears, typically, a body suit, durable mid calf boots, a vest or overshirt, and wrist guards. Her fetish for earrings has made gift giving easy, as she's never seen without silver in her ears, all other jewelry is deemed superfluous. Short Bio: Her mother always told her to explore, make a better life for herself when she found things getting dull. Her grandmother, Alice, shared the same ideals. Both were immigrants from Daan Batan, both uneducated, but posessing the dreams and thoughts that could make their daughter into their vision of success. To be a colonist, an expression of that goal, and the living of her mother's dream, not exactly the American dream anymore, but what the hell. She could live with that. Of course, Genefee has always had a taste for danger and excitement, although just about now, she's thinking her life pretty mundane. Oh if she knew just how wrong she was. Her jobs on the colony include security, intelligence, and, you guessed it, communications. People see her as a rock of good sense and stability in an ocean of change, not that things change too much on Deimos, a next-to-lifeless hunk of rock until they came. Genefee takes her job very seriously and sees any failure as her faliure and her fault. Of course her marrying and getting a divorce is certainly not a faliure. She was overjoyed to get rid of her husband, who was truly a vain and vulgar man.

Hinata
Name:Trini Angelos Age:31 Appearance: Trini stand at 5'8 inches tall with a small feminine frame, with a good amount of curves, which she usually covers up. Her eyes are dark brown and easily convey each emotion she shows, her hair is shoulder lenght and dark brown. Her usual ensemble consists of pants and long shirts, but may soon make a drastic change. If she can be bare footed she prefers it, but will wear heavy boots as she moving around the station. Bio: Born to a middle class Hispanic family, on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA.Trini has always been the one to care for the family. It was the foundation of the family that gave her her start. The large sized family, endured the family dinners and large get togethers that made her gain the insight on how to love and care for others. The traditional family dinners, became more so mandatory, but very enjoyable, as eveyone got together to brag about many things and give them many laughs while the rest of the world was wrapped up in their own problems. Her abuela grandmother, was who Trini got her spirit, as the matriarch of the family, Trini learned from her abuela and gained much insight on love and the gift of caring, one of the many gifts she turned over to the bright eyed girl. As a teenager, Trini kept her abuela's spirit within her and kept along her path, eventually getting her into Medical School. She breezed through the courses by 25, and immediately began work. Opening up her eyes to the stars above. Around this time she had also fallen in love, they loved each other dearly but Trini's spirit couldn't reassure him of her faitfulness and caused a jealous spat which ended with her taken his life. She cried that night, reliving that night, and past beatings to the police officers and her family. And almost five years had past before she took the Bladerunner mission, one which her family believed she wouldn't take. A mission they wouldn't want her to take. Trini had gone from caring for them, to being the one they became so overly protecting of, so she took the mission, seeing it as a chance to get away and make them realize that the old Trini was still in there. Unknowingly to her, the mission was catastrophy filled and danger inviting, but because of it, Trini not only gained horror filled nights but a piece of her she had lost before it. Now she's back in it. Hoping this time to destroy the things that came through, and as of now hoping to keep this newest relationship. Corey
I'm sorry Dragon, but no. Your reputation from the last one haunts you. Maybe in my next RPG. ??? Name: Allen Chubb Age: 36 Gender: Male Specialty: Captain Bio: Allen was born into an extremely military family. His father had been in the Air Force and so it was only natural for him to follow in his steps. He had attained an extremely high rank and had been someone of much inportance. Allen didn't want to go, but that didn't matter either. From a young age Allen was kept in shape and drilled in the way of the Air Force cadet. Boot camp was a breeze for him. He'd already endured far worse things from his father. He got stationed on Luna 017 aboout three years into his career as a security officer and stayed there, loving the bitter grey terrain of the moon to death. When there was a sudden, and extremely unexpected depressurization of a portion of the base. Allen saved three people that didn't make it out with the crowd. He was bumped up a rank and transferred back to Earth as a show of gratitude. When back on Earth, he worked his *** off and made it all the way up to Captain. He was given his own ship, the Bladerunner, and began doing rescue and salvage missions for the Airforce out there in space. When he got the call for the Event Horizon salavge/rescue mission, he was hesitant. The rumors that plauged the original diaster were all too terrible to ignore. But it was his job, and he would follow orders. The mission turned out to be anything but normal. He lost seven members of his crew and his ship. The four of them that weren't killed, made it safely back to earth. But something didn't feel right. He assumed it was nothing more than shock from seeing so many horrble things... But then Rawson came and presented the new mission to him. He went back to his room and cried that night. He was afraid. No... Afraid isn't a powerful enough word. Allen was terrified. After the new mission started, Allens fears continuously were proven. Hallucenations. Rawson appearing seemingly out of nowhere. And then the crash. His crew barely had enough time to get to the pods. God he hoped they were ok.
Andrew
I?m basically using my sign-up from the last RPG with a few changes if that?s ok. Name: John ?Ghost? Lars Age: 37 Sex: Male Speciality: Engineer Bio: Up to the present moment, and even before it, John?s life has been a blur. John was your average infant growing up in a small valley. John spent much of his young life drinking alcohol regularly with his friends, (which is the apparent reason for his terrible memory). Following in his brother?s footsteps John became an engineer on aeroplane and spacecraft engines. After recovering from alcoholism and marrying his girl friend since School, John was delighted to discover that his beautiful wife was pregnant with his first child; his daughter. Doing pretty well in his craft, as well as leading an amazing family life, John eventually ended up on Deimos despite not wanting to leave his family. John spent several months in the vile place until he received news that his wife had suffered a miscarriage and died along with the child. As with his early life, John resorted to alcohol to soothe himself and eventually locked the grief away in his mind and continued with his time on Deimos. John?s apparent lack of a short term memory gets him trouble often and he usually slips his way out of it with his charming smile and witty sense of humour. After the loss of his budding family, John became a little destructive and his humour became more blunt and sarcastic and he hardly ever had a smile other than when he maliciously took joy in the misfortune of others. Up until recently John knew nothing of Dr. Weir, the Event Horizon and all other rescue missions involved. He?s about to be rudely awakened. Lately, things have been going wrong in the Deimos Colony. People disappearing over the past month and then one person turned up as a long since burned corpse chained to the wall of his apartment. That was when everything went wrong. ?They? were on the colonists before they knew what hit them. People started appearing in the most horrific of ways and in the most random of places. While everyone else fears for their lives, John however welcomes whatever lurks in the darkness as he believes that he will be reunited with his wife and unknown daughter. Appearance: John has fairly pale skin and the under side of his eyes are a dirty brown colour earning him his nickname of ?ghost?. John is of a muscular build and prides himself on his body. He weighs around just over 190lbs and is about 5?10?. His eyes are dark shade of hazel and the glare in them gives the impression that John could look into a person?s soul just by staring at them. John usually goes unshaven for weeks on end leaving him with a rather impressive Beard. John has short, light brown hair which is always spiked completely vertical. John usually wears his overalls, even when not working, and always carries his tool belt with his ?emergency bitter? attached to it.
