GuyYouMetOnline
Blanko and I have decided to jointly create this Pokemon RPG. It's a sequal to ones she's done previously, but participation in any of those RPGs is not necessary. In fact, none of the events in those RPGs will be relevant unless Blanko decides to do something that involves said events. To clarify the rating, the L leaves oped the possibility of some bad language, and the V is because there will be people trying to kill others, although I do not plan on actually having anyone die. Now, here's the backstory: "Hey, Jack!" a man named Hank shouted. "You done yet?" "Just placed the last one," Jack shouted back. He and Hank were two members of one of the several teams working to clear the cooled and hardened lava from the recent eruption of Mount Chimney, and their team was working on Route 117 between Mauville and Verdanterf. Normally, they would use water Pokemon, such as Blastoise, to wash the cooled lava away, but many of the larger formations were hard to get that way. For those, the teams used Electrode. It was Jack's turn to place the Electrode around the formation of cooled lava, which he'd just finished doing. After he joined Hank and the others at a safe distance, he gave the command: "Electrode, use Explosion!" When the smoke cleared, there was no more cooled lava formation. What was left of it was in pieces all over the place. Hank released a pair of Machamp to clear the rubble as he and the rest of the team moved closer to supervise. The first thing they noticed was the hole. The Electrode method usually left a hole, which was filled in by Pokemon, usually Graveler and Onix. But this hole was not the usual size. "Look at that," Jack said. "We just blasted our way into a cave of some kind. I didn't know there was anything in this area." Hank, who seemed to know every detail of Hoenn's geography, steped closer to the hole. "There isn't," he said. Hank looked down into the hole, then took a couple steps back and faced the others. "Who wants to go down and take a look?" The lava-clearing team cleared out and reported the discovery after examining the cave. They noted several tunnles, but they never actually entered any of them, simply because that's not what they were paid to do. Paid exploration teams did that, and these teams realized that the lava-clearers hadn't just discovered a new cave; they'd discovered a vast underground network that appeared to extend under all of Hoenn. As if that wasn't shocking enough, explorers found what looked like the ruins of several underground cities, except that everything was made of stone. Several unknown species of Pokemon were also discovered. Of course, news of a discovery that major couldn't be kept secret, especially when the people who actually made the initial discovery were basically construction workers, a profession that doesn't exactly require secrecy. So the discovery wasn't kept secret, but access to the Network was highly restricted. Only the people who were supposed to go in were able to get in. If you weren't supposed to enter the Network, you weren't getting in. the entrance had the tightest security ever, and it didn't matter what kind of force you brought with you. There was no way to penetrate the security at the Network's entrance. The exploration teams knew that exploring the entirity of the Network would take a long time, but that task wouldn't be theirs. They were the initial explorers, the ones who went in first. The follow-up expedition would be done not by them, but by Trainers. A comittee(sp?) was assembled. This committe was led by the current Pokemon Leauge Champion, a man named Gordon Kalshaik, and included the Elite Four and people such as Professors Oak, Elm, and Birch, as well as a couple Gym Leaders and a few others. This comittee selected a group of Trainers to form what became known as the Expedition. These Trainers would be the first to get a chance at catching the new Pokemon in the Network, and all they'd need to do in exchange was carry recording devices with them to catalog their experiances and any discoveries they made. In this RPG, you play as a member of the Expedition heading into the Network. you'll be after new Pokemon, and there's also the mystery of just how the Network came to be. Of course, there will undoubtably be some trouble along the way. The sign-up form is below. Either Blanko or I can accept or deny sign-ups, as we're doing this RPG jointly. Be sure to tell me if I've left anything out of the sign-up form. Sign-up: Name: Age: Not too young. Really young people aren't going to be chosen as members of the Expedition. Not too old, either. Say, 15-25. but don't be afraid to go outside that range. Either Blanko or I will tell you if the age isn't acceptable. Gender: Appearance: A picture is good, but a description is also fine. Personallity: Doesn't have to be very detailed, but it needs to be enough to give others an idea of how your character acts. History: This also doesn't have to be very detailed. Pokemon: The Pokemon your character keeps with him or her. Max. of six. If you have six Pokemon (wether you started with six or caught a few to bring yourself up to six) and you catch one, you'll need to send one of the Pokemon you have with you into storage to use the new one (in this RPG, a swap can be done anytime). Oh, no legendaries. Just so that everyone knows, Pokemon in this RPG aren't limited to four moves. A pokemon can use any move that meets one or more of the following criteria: 1: A Pokemon may use any move that shares a type with it, assuming that the Pokemon is physically able to use that move. For example, Hitmonlee can use any Fighting-type moves that don't require hands. It can't learn any punching or slapping moves because it has no arms or hands. 2: A Pokemon may use any move that it is able to learn through any method (be it leveling up, a TM, an HM, as an Egg Move, from a Move Tutor, or any method I might have left out besides using a cheat device) in any of the games. For example, Absol learns Future Sight in the games, so is able to use that move in this RPG. 3: A Pokemon may use any move that makes sense for the Pokemon. For example, Absol can use Earthquake, even though it doesn't share a type with the move and is unable to learn the move in the games. This is because an earthquake is a disaster, and Absol is the Disaster Pokemon (I was actually quite surprised when I discovered that Absol cannot learn Earthquake in the games). Just a reminder: because Blanko and I are doing the RPG jointly, whatever either one of us says goes. Well, I think that's everything. PM either me or Blanko with any questions. Frankie
very well put partner. here is mine... Name: Kira Lee Age: 17 Gender: Female... duh (if i ever played a male character his name would be zash lol) Looks: Shoulder length black hair... green eyes... 5'7'' 115 lbs. Wearing: A snug fitting black T-shirt.. Red shoes, Red pants... and a black and red flame bandana. Personality: Outgoing... tends to argue a bit... Doesnt like the human race much... Bio: She was raised by her parents... Her mom dies giving birth to her little sister Arika... who is 7 years younger than Kira. After the moms death the father lost his mind and the girls were taken to an orphanage... Arika was adopted right away due to her young age and cuteness... Kira on the other hand was a handfull and never chose on adoption day. When she turned 15 however the orphanage gave her a pokemon and told her to leave... she had caused to much damage (like braking things) and that she could have a pokemon if she just left... so she did. She had set the orphange shed on fire and ever since shes been obsessed with fire. She only likes pokemon that can use fire attacks and such. Which makes it hard to win in certin battles exspecialy if her opponent is equiped with water pokemon. She has no clue where her sister is and after the years shes forgot she had a sister... Oddly after a few years her green eyes turned red... no one knows why. Pokemon: Ponyta, Cyndaquill, Growlithe, and Gyarados (this water pokemon can use hydro pump, thunder, and fireblast which is why she has him.) Other: She carries a lighter with her where ever she goes and never loses it. She also has mystery pokemon in a pokeball that hangs from her neck. She never seems to run out of money and some people wonder how she gets it. (How she gets it lies inside the mystery pokeball around her neck.) Ugamon
Jeez Blanko i seem to recall a character named Blaise that was a male character quite fondly....You always did like fire however.. Name:Kredion Akima Age:16 Gender:Male Appearance: In attachment Personality:When he isn't in a fight he can be blunt and serious but still be very compassionate and strong willed. However when He is in a battle he turns into ice and all his emotions fade away and all that matters is that he eithers slows his opponent or defeats him. History:Kredion was born on a Large island one hundred and forty miles from the closest orange island. As a child he would sometimes battle some of the other Pokemon trainers or ?tamers? as they called them in little unofficial pokemon battles. As he grew older his skills did too and at the age of nine he joined the island?s little Kyoto League and gained skill and experience that way. After defeating the six pokemon gym masters he went onto the leagues big tournament and ended up almost winning the first time however he did win the next year. Realizing his couldn?t continue to grow on the island he took his pokemon and headed west on his Blastiose for as a young child he had heard stories of islands beyond his own. After several days he found some islands in the distance and headed towards them. It was a nasty little culture shock as the people on the his island didn?t wear ?jeans? but rather simple cloth and his coins were of no use to him for they had no worth and even on his island they didn?t have the strange pink haired nurse named Joy running around but rather a cranky old women or man running a free rest stop in their house. However he was befriended by a somewhat older girl named Mallory who offered to guide him around if he could beat her at a pokemon battle. Luckily for Kredion he was able to defeat with some difficultly for the techniques she used were a little different then the ones he knew however she kept her word and helped him but getting him some clothes and showed him around as well as giving him some extra money for getting around and stuff. The two became friends however Mallory and him went their separate ways after Kredion defeated his first orange island gym master. After that it is all just more history to which will be known. Pokemon: (I don't recall any of these being "special pokemon")Donphan,Tyranitar,Onix,Eevee,Skarmory,Blastoise

She's a quick thinker and solves problems quickly. She can easily keep a cool head in a heated argument. Aria is very stealthy, flexible and acrobatic and gymnastic and has been since she was a child. She doesn't get annoyed very often, except when someone bugs her a lot. One of her best skills is her skill with computers and anything electronic. History: Aria has been a lover of pokemon since she was a child, her father was a pokemon trainer before her and she always played around with his pokemon. He would always tell her of his adventures travelling and collecting badges, she couldn't wait for her 15th birthday so she could get her own pokemon. On the day that she was supposed to get her pokemon, she was so late that there weren't any pokemon left. She was depressed so the Professor gave her a different pokemon from everyone else, Umbreon. They got along fabulously from the start. She went on a short adventure for about two years before she heard about the expedition. She knew it was an adventure waiting to happen so she immediately wanted to join. Id prefer that you not nickname the pokemon it makes things difficult for other players. They would have to keep going back to this page to figure out which pokemon is which. I know you got elemental names like sparks for jolteon and pyro for flareon but you know what... it still comnplicates things a bit. If you nicknamed ONE id say its ok but not all six... GuyYouMetOnline
Ohkami, you're in. I just want to be sure you understand that Aria's desire to be a member of the Expidition had nothing to do with her being selected for it. Ugamon and Bloody_Moon, you two need to finish your sign-ups. Oh, and Bloody_Moon, Blanko's right. Nicknames of Pokemon do make it more difficult to follow your posts, so please remove them (it's okay to keep one, but please get rid of the rest). Here's my sign-up: Name: Rorohiko Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: About 6 feet tall, with brown hair and eyes. He is of average build. He almost always wears shorts and a t-shirt. He's in very good shpae, mainly because of all the walking he does with a heavy supply pack on his back Personality: Rorohiko is a very determined person. If he decides that he wants to do something, he's going to do it. He can be very single-minded, and he's willing to do anything he has to. He'll say what he thinks without considering the feelings of others, but he isn't out to make enemies or to hurt anyone, and he doesn't like to threaten people. He's also a smart person, and a very quick thinker. History: When Rorohiko was 9, he happened to hear the TV when his parents were watching a news broadcast. What he heard was that Pewter City, a place pretty far from his home in Vermillion City, had been the site of an earthquake. the loss of life had been small, because many residents had seen an Absol the previous day, andso had already evacuated the area, telling others to do the same. the newscaster went on tto breifl explain that Absol only appeared to humans before a disaster of some kind, such as an earthquake. Rorohiko was facinated, and he wanted to know more. When he discovered that not much more was known about Absol, he decided that he'd figure it out. Two years later, his sister, a very skilled trainer, encountered an Absol durring her travels. She caught it, left the area before any kind of disaster occured, and gave the Absol to Rorohiko for his birthday. Rorohiko was quick to bevelop a bond with the Absol. Eventually, he learned to understand his Absol as if it were speaking English. he can't understand any other Pokemon, not even another Absol, because his understanding of what is Absol says is based on his Absol's unique manner, as well as the sounds his Absol makes. Rorohiko has never caught another Pokemon, and has no plans to ever do so. His Absol, being the only Pokemon's he's trained for six years, is very, very, very powerful, and has a wide range of moves that, when taken together, allow it to defeat most Trainers' teams of six Pokemon. Rorohiko's search for the answers to the mystieries surrounding Absol attracted the attention of a cult that functions more like a terrorrist organization. The cult (it has a name, of course, but only members know the name) sent a man named Victor Trolmont to convince Rorohiko of 'the error of his ways'. Of course, that involved trying to convince Rorohiko to give up his search, and Rorohiko didn't like that. He ended up literally beating everythiing that he could about the cult out of Trolmont. the cult's beliefs center around the conflict between God and Satan. They believe that Satan was responsible for creating certain Pokemon, such as Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Groudon, and Kyogre, to destabilize and/or destroy Earth. They also believe that God countered by creating Pokemon, such as Lugia and Rayquaza, to nullify the effects of the Satan ones. Absol is on the cult's 'Satan-made' list because of the whole disaster thing, and Rorohiko's refusal to give up trying to sovle the mysteries surrounding Absol marked him as an active and willing ally of Satan in their eyes. The cult keeps trying to have him killed, but they are, for the most part, incompetent, and Rorohiko is always able to survive. He knows that this cult won't stop trying, which makes him very alert to any possible threat. Pokemon: Absol
Kitty
Name: Rin Age: 17 Gender: Female Appearance: See attachment. Personality: Rin keeps to herself most of the time. Even if she's quiet, Rin would do whatever she wants. She's not afraid of what others think of her at all. When she has something to say, she'll say it. Some call her rude, but she likes to think of herself as painfully honest. The way she acts around others depends on what she thinks of them. Complete strangers she likes to "toy" with. When she battles, it's like she puts her entire self into her pokemon. During battle she is no longer secluded and bored, but instead she's determined, outspoken, and eager. History: Rin is quite rich, having a Gym Leader for an older sister. She lived with her sister in the city of Lavaridge until she was ten, which is when she was given her sister's Eevee. When she got it, everyone expected her to evolve it into Flareon almost immediatly. But instead, she trained it day after day for months until evolved into Umbreon. Dark pokemon were always favorites of hers, but so were dragons. That was what led her to become a Trainer instead of a Gym Leader. At age twelve, Rin left Lavaridge to travel to the Johto region, where she quickly beat all the gyms. While there, she caught a Dratini which was soon evolved into Dragoniar and then Dragonite. She visited her parents in Kanto shortly, but didn't bother visiting the gyms. She returned to Heonn at age 13, and went around beating all of the Heonn gyms, including her sister. She didn't challenge the Elite Four because she felt that she needed training. So Rin spent another four years training. Rin caught many pokemon and trained lots of them, but she grew most attached to her Bagon, Trapinch, Aron and Absol. Those she trained most often, along with her Umbreon and Dragonite. Very soon, she had an army of dark and dragon pokemon, her party of six pokemon being the most intimidating. Determined to prove herself, Rin headed for the Elite Four. But when she reached the Indigo Plataue (sp?), the Elite Four were no longer accepting challenges because they were on some commitee. Rin, determined to find them, followed the rumors and stories she was told and eventually found them. Che
Name: Joy Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: Joy has less than shoulder length red hair and the same blue eyes as all of the Nurse Joys, though they covered up (a lot) by her favorite pair of orange sunglasses. She wears a short necklace she made herself at the end of which held a Pokeball with her very first Pokemon. She wears a green button-up T-shirt that's too long for her, usually unbottuned, on top of a white shirt that ended where her jeans began. Her jeans were dark denim blue and went past her red-and-white tennis shoes. On her back, you can be assured she's carrying a very heavy green backpack holding a bunch of PokeBreeder tools. Personallity: Joy is very kind and is almost always calm, even if she is one of the world's biggest tomboys. She's an expert with Pokemon and all of their evolutions and attacks. She's pretty intelligent for her age, and isn't afraid to show it. She enjoys challenging the Proffesors with some of the hardest questions any Pokemon Reasercher could possibly answer. History: Joy is the daughter of the Nurse Joy in EverGarnde City. She was trained to be a Nurse Joy, just like all of her other relatives, at a very young age, and it didn't take long for her to love Pokemon and relinquish all her fears of them. Even the most intimidating Pokemon seemed sweet to her, she didn't care how ferocious they were acting. Her niavity never changed throughout the years, but her occupation choice did. When she was seven, Joy was working with her mother one day, helping healing all the Pokemon the trainers were giving them before heading off towards the Elite Four. But one time, a scary looking trainer came up to the counter, holding all of his Pokeballs and a severely beaten Ratatat. When they were trying to heal it, the Ratatat gave Joy the saddest look she had ever seen before passing away. Joy was traumatized by the scene, and never wanted to see a Pokemon die again. Instead, she wanted to raise her own, so she wouldn't have to face the guilt of seeing other trainer's Pokemon being hurt. It was then when Joy decided to be a PokeBreeder, starting with the Chansey her mother had given her. With that Chansey, she was able to capture all sorts of Pokemon, and she had even built a type of farm to keep them all in, instead of the usual PC. In the end, though, her mother had disapproved of the fact that her daughter wouldn't be a Nurse, as the tradition was, and made her release all but six Pokemon. After that, Joy was either locked up in her room with her nose in one of the many research books she bought with the extra money she got from selling her barn, or out with her final six Pokemon, playing and training. Still refusing to be a Nurse, Joy's next aspiration is to be a Proffesor. Pokemon: Chansey, Ponyta, Ninetales, Meowth, Dodrio, and Ghastly. Oviously, Chansey is the one in the Pokeball around her neck.
GuyYouMetOnline
We now have a total of four unfinished sign-ups. That has to be some kind of a record. Kitty, you just need an appearance. Kayin, you need personality and history. Mai_Minase, you're in. I'd like to take this opportunity to emphasize the 'no legendaries' rule, and to clarify it a bit. See, in one of the RPGs this one is a sequal to, one of the people who signed up (I forget who it was) attempted to have his (At least, I think the person was a he) character catch some legendary Pokemon during the RPG, even though 'no legendaries' was stated very clearly in the sign-up thread. For that reason, I want to make sure everyone knows that legendaries are not allowed to be caught dueing the RPG, or to be on your team or in your possession at the start of the RPG (you may PM either Blanko or me if you want an exception to be made in your case, but unless you have an extremly good reason, the answer will be no). Just wanted to make sure that that was perfectly clear.

I really am eager for a quality Pokemon RPG to participate in. Please, please start this up soon. And to answer your question, Ugamon, I believe Mount Chimney is located in the Heonn Region, north of Lavaridge Town. GuyYouMetOnline
It probably won't be too long before this RPG is started. I'd say Sunday at the latest, but I don't have Blanko's ('Blanko' is your username, so people will certainly use it) oppinion yet. I have no plans to close sign-ups, but again, I don't know what Blanko thinks, although she usually leaves sign-ups open. As for the location of Mount Chimney, that's exactly where it is. Guest Garelock
Name: Chezral Gonzales or just Chez Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Chezral is a very capable trainer but his doubts over himself is what holds him back from being the world champion. The fact of the matter is that Chez is always too hard and critical of himself; in other words, he never thinks he's good enough for anything. For the most part, he treats his pokemon like friends though, just like he can be on himself, Chez can be a very hard trainer. He works his pokemon very hard and makes them train so that they can be stronger. Overall, Chez can be a tough person to get along with and that's mostly because he's not a very nice person. Every story needs its super mean protagonist and this guy is it. History: Chezral Gonzales was born in Vermillion City unlike many of the members in his family who were mostly of Hispanic decent. Life in Vermillion was very hard and very rarely did Chezral's family have life easy in this place. His mother and father worked very hard just to get by and raising a child didn't help the situation any. Chez was born as a mistake when his mother and father got a divorce and was a love child for the most part. In the meanwhile, as a child, Chez lived with his mother. Pokemon training ran in the family. Chezral's grandfather and great grandfather were both former pokemon masters not to mention that his mother was Pokemon Grand Prix champion for nearly 12 years straight until she retired; simply put, everyone in his family were pokemon trainers to a certain degree. Chez never really liked pokemon nor could he stand anything about them. It was his family that pressured him into becoming a pokemon trainer for the sake of him getting a good job for money and as a way to continue the family tradition. Despite his wishes, at the age of 7, Chez recieved his first pokemon via his mom which was the faimly Raichu or basically, the family pet that lived with Chez for the better part of his life so the two got along pretty well. As time progressed, Chez eventually grew to like pokemon much more than he did as a kid. He caught more and more pokemon and became a very good trainer. Ugamon
Cough cough... i think blanko and takuya will agree with me on this that you need to fix your bio and personality twice in the personality you typed digimon making me think you copyed and alter this.. second there is no New york in the pokemon world however their are many towns in the world that you can use as a platform for your bio. please don't take this wrong but you need to fix this before you can post... However your pokemon seem ok as does your name and picture so thats all ok just fix the bio and personality
Guest Garelock
Oops, sorry, the last time I was here I was roleplaying on a digimon rpg and I'm a heavy digimon fan. It's understandable if I get pokemon and digimon mixed up sometimes because both of the anime are a lot alike. You can check the last profile I had with the digimon roleplay and you'll see that I didn't copy and paste anything. On top of that, before I started typing this profile, I was watching the digimon movie with my little cousin.
GuyYouMetOnline
Ugamon, you're not in charge here, so please refrain m playing mod. It's up to either Blanko or I to point out any corrections that are needed. That said, you do have a couple mistakes, Garelock. First, There's no such thing as America in the world of Pokemon. Known regions (which I tend to think of as countries) are Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn, and Orre, as well as the Orange Islands and Sevii (sp?) Islands. And second, Pokemon are not limited to four moves in this RPG. IN my opening post in this thread, I explained how moves will be handled in this RPG. I'm not going to repost it here, but I will say that you should delete the move lists of your Pokemon.

Guest Garelock
Okies, I did what you asked. By the way, with the new pokemon, could I just create a new wild pokemon? If so, are pics of those pokemon allowed?
