Rhym followed his new companions to the uninhabited are of the town. The latest addition to this group of new faces, Gray, pulled out a remote control board for a mech.

"You guys might want to step back just a tad," he said.

Rhym noticed dust being kicked up in the middle of the deserted square they stood in. It vaguely outlined the shape of a mech, just touching down. A cloaking device? That's pricy technology, thought Rhym. When the mech had settled, Gray pressed a button on the board. That's a Griffin! Wow!

Gray turned to Rhym with a look in his eye that was sure of his coolness. "So, Rhym, lead us to your garage," he spoke.
"But what about the-" He cut off when Gray pushed the same button again.
"I don't think it's going anywhere.'
"Yeah," Rhym's eyes were wide. "Follow me."

--------

Rhym unlocked the door of his garage and led Gray, Kitten, and Zisagawa inside. The ceiling was lofty, large enough to house a mech with some room to spare. The floor was almost impossible to see, except in front of the mech entrance, where it was stained with oil. Tools, scrap metal, strange devices, tubes, and just plain junk were everywhere on the floor and occupying all available shelf space. There was a small bed against the far wall, a seperate office room just as messy, and a save point.

"So here's the garage. If you need a place to stay the night, I have a few sleeping bags in the storage area, and it's cheaper than an inn," said Rhym.
"Wait," said Kitten, "If this is the garage, what does the storage area look like?"
Rhym eyed them sardonically. "Let's just say, if you go in there, bring a long length of string and some chalk."
Gray nodded appreciatively after looking around. "Nice place you got here. It'll serve our purposes well."
"So if you don't mind me saying so," remarked Rhym, "that is one sweet mech you have. Griffins are top-notch tech. Land, air, and water-capable, cloaking field, able to be remotely controlled... You must have scads of zennies to blow, no?"
Gray's eyes glinted mischeviously. "Who says we payed for it? Hey, mind if it stays the night here?"
Rhym grinned. "Not at all..."
"I thought not. Now, if you don't mind, Kitten and I would like to have a look around."

Rhym watched them poke around for a while, then leaned over to Zisagawa.

"This might turn out to be quite an adventure," he said.
"You said it, man," agreed Zisagawa.
Quite an adventure indeed.

"He was staring at you," Gray muttered as the two of them explored a row of tools. "Who?" "That.. Rhym guy." "Oh. Him? Wait.. what was that I heard in your voice?" Kitten teased. "W-What?" Gray stuttered, looking away. "I know I heard some-thing different. Com'mon, you can tell me," she continued to pressure him. "Tell you what? There's nothing to tell," he insisted, pretending to look at a wrench used on mechs.

"Why are you jealous of Rhym?" Gray turned to her, his face blank. "First, I'm not jealous of him. And if I was, I probably would be because you seemed to warm up to him a LOT faster than you did me." "Oh?" Kitten asked, the glee in her voice growing even more apparant. "And why aren't you worried about zisagawa?"

"Oh, him? He's just a newb that loves your avatar." "Did I tell you some pervert grabbed my butt?" Kitten 'randomly' added into their odd conversation.

"WHAT?!" Gray screamed, spinning around. Kitten fell over laughing. "Don't joke about that!" Gray huffed, his face a little red. Through her laughing, she managed to say, "I'm not joking." "Who was it?" he asked, anger flooding his tone. "Some ass. His username's Drake."

"Drake? I got a message from him." "You did?" "Yeah. About the Griffyn. I guess he saw it before we cloaked it," Gray hypothesized. "Hmm..." "Well, I'm going to go find him and kick his ass now," he muttered, beginning to walk off. "Gray.." Kitten sighed. When she realized he was serious, she leaped up and ran after him. "Gray! Don't make an ass out of yourself. Rhym got my wallet back from him, and it's all fine," she said, trying to soothe him.

"Oh? He pickpocketed you, too?" Gray asked, raising an eyebrow. "Yes, he did." "And your 'prince charming' saved your wallet, huh?" "He's not my--" "I'm going to fuel the Griffyn," Gray stated suddenly, grabbing a fuel box and walking off to where the Griffyn was.

"What was that about?" Rhym asked, walking over. "He's being a big baby," Kitten spat, walking off in the opposite direction. "Hey wait! You'll get lost!" Rhym called, running after her.

Zisagawa, standing alone in the middle of the garage, paused for a moment before saying, "Hey!"

OOC: Rhym, I believe the currency is 'zen', not 'zennie'. Of course, Albel will have to confirm that, but I'm retty sure it's 'zen'.

------------------------------------------------------------

Back at the Signing facility, Sako located an unsued terminal and began scanning the posted missions. One in particular caught his eye. He selected it and called up the detailed explination. It was a reward for the return of a stoled mech. Sako enjoyed that kind of assignment. He saw that it was posted by a character named Kasharo.

"Command," Sako said. "Send communications request to Kasharo. Request visual." Like many services, opening a direct communication link was free when done from a terminal.

Kasharo's image appeared on the terminal's screen. "This is Kasharo," he said. "Please state your name and reason for contacting me."

CG for sure, Sako thought. "My name is Sako, and I want more information about the stolen mech."

"Many others have contacted me," Kasharo replied, "but none of them took the job. They didn't think they were good enough to do it."

"There isn't much I'm not good enough to do. Spill the beans. What was stolen?"

"A Griffin-class heavy assult mech," Kasharo told him.

"Griffin-class? No wonder you've been turned down! Those things are tough as hell. I think I can handle it, though. How much are you offering for the job?"

"Four hundred thousand," Kasharo said. "Condition does not matter as long as it is returned to me, even if it is completly non-functional. For confirmed destruction without its return, two hundred twenty thousand."

"I want you to cover transportation and repair costs."

"I will cover any repairs you require after the job, and I will pay the entire cost of transporting any mech you choose to use to my location. The Griffin has not left the planet, as I've informed the authorities. Every leaving ship is being completly inspected before being cleared for departure. Whoever stole it has not left the planet."

Sako nodded. "Standard procedure. Now, what about getting me to you?"

"I'll pay the entire price of a ticket for a ship of any kind. For direct transit, I'll pay half the cost."

"In that case, I'm taking the direct route. See you in approximatly twenty-five seconds."

OOC: Heads up, Kitty! Now Sako's after you.

OOC: My my, people seem to be a little 'irritated' by Drake. He he he. *Devilish laugh* Oh, by the way, yes the currency IS zen, NOT zenny.

IC: Drake and Kay stood on the street corner bathing in what they thought was their greatness. Drake STILL had the money he stole. Some Rhym guy thought that he was a hero, getting those wallets back, when in reality, he helped them be hunted by moderators. He replaced their money with fake zen. The use of fake zen at a store, will have their pictures, profiles, and names on the wanted list, making them hunted by moderators and bounty hunters. Drake wasn't a bounty hunter, but as it was shown, he would do anything for money. After all, money is a type of tresure, so Drake would hunt it. Drake was waiting for them to be on the missions list. He couldn't wait any longer. Drake pressed some buttons on his utility band, that wrapped around his wrist. He searched the missions, but didn't find anything on use of fake zen. It surprised him. Unless they were REALLY observent, only store NPCs could tell that they were fake. BUT, he could've raised suspission, considering he gave the wallets back without lifting a finger. When Drake searched more, he DID find a mission that seemed to catch his eye. It was one with quite a hefty bounty on it. It involved the stealing of a Gryffin-blueprint mech and the one that wanted it back was Kasharo. Drake pressed some more buttons on his utility band and patched a communication with him. "What? What do you want?"
" This is Drake, Kasharo"
"Oh, Drake. It's been far too long."
"Yes yes, we all know that it has. Look, I noticed that you have a mech missing."
"Ah you read that. So, what about it?"
"....I can get it back for you."
"Overconfident in your skills as usual eh Drake?"
"You know that I can do it."
"Yes I do, but, fact is, someone has already taken the job. His name was Sako"
"So, only one person can take the job? How do you know that he can do it or that he'll bring it back safley?"
"I don't, but I guess if you do it before him, then I'll give you the reward as well."
"What if we do it together?"
"Then I guess it's split 50 50."
"Sounds fun. Well, whether or not I join forces with this guy, you know that I'll be there to make your mech safe and sound. Drake, over and out." he said, closing the communication.
"Sounds like we got a caper on our hands" said Kay.
"Not this time Kay. I'm doing this alone."
"What?"
"He he, got ya!"
"Figures. You never go on a mission without me."
"Well, I'm going to send a message to this one guy. As for who has the mech, I already got an idea."
"That one you saw before?"
"Yep"
"Figures. It's the only Griffin-blueprint mech we've seen."
"For this job, I'm going to call down Falcron."
"OH GOODIE! The Falcron!"
"Don't expect to drive."
"I know I know, it's your baby."
"Damn straight." said Drake, jokingly. He pressed a button on his eyeshield and spoke in the mike.
"This is Drake, ready for you to pick up the Rhino."
"Yes sir"
"And while you're at it, send the Falcron down here as well"
"Yes sir" Drake closed this link. He started to send a message to this 'Sako' guy. The message contained this.
I know that you have taken the mission for the stolen mech as well. I say that we make a truce. You and I should work together and then split the reward 50 50. If you refuse, then I'm going to say that ALL is fair in this game, meanine that I'll kill you if I have to. Just keep that in mind. Message me back with your answer ASAP.
Drake.

OOC: It's up to you Takuya. For the record, the reason that Drake is so confident, is that he's been in Aqualaria since it started. He just didn't battle much to level up. There are two types of leveling up. One, which is the obvious, battle for experience or two, which is the slower but better way of leveling up, is using your skills as much as possible. This is slow, but more effective. Drake has just used his skills a lot, so he has more efficient stats.

OOC: Everybody's after me.. =( And everybody, I've noticed how we all spell "Griffyn" different. >.>;;
---
IC:

"Stupid.. Gray.." Kitten muttered, still storming at a fast pace. "Wait up!" Rhym called after her, still trying to catch up. "Fine." She turned and waited as he finally reached her. "Where are you going?" he asked her.

"Somewhere." "That's not exactly.. what I meant.." he drifted into thought. After a few moments of silence, Kitten turned to walk on again, Rhym walking with her this time. They walked through the back of his garage together, not saying a word.

Meanwhile..

Gray packed some things into the Griffyn after he finished fueling it. He was still steaming a little about Kitten. "Hey!" He turned to see zisagawa running after him. "What are you doing here?" he asked in a tone not like his usual one. "Rhym chased after Kitten when she stormed off." "Why didn't you follow?" "Um.." he muttered.

"Help me with something," Gray called down to him, motioning for him to follow into the Griffyn. "O-okay," zisagawa accepted, climbing up.

Inside, they began tinkering and exploring. "What's that?" zisagawa wondered, pointing to a pile of scrap. "I don't know. It looks like that stuff the ball on the roof was made of..." Gray trailed off into thought for a moment before shaking his head and walking back to the cockpit. "Com'mon. Let's bring this out of the open."

They flew it back to Rhym's garage, carefully landing it inside. "That was fun," zisagawa cheered, having enjoyed the short ride inside the amazing mech. Below were Kitten and Rhym who were eating some snacks. Gray jumped out and walked in the opposite direction to put away the fuel box he had taken with him.

As zisagawa exited the mech, he walked over to Kitten and Rhym. "What're you eatin'?" "Health bars. I was running out of stamina from all the running," Kitten explained. "Oh." "Want one?" Rhym offered. "Nah. I'm good. Can I sit down?" "Sure," Kitten smiled, patting the ground, inviting him to sit.

Gray returned and sat down silently.

"You think anyone'll come after us?" Kitten asked suddenly. "What?" "For the Griffyn. I mean, whoever you stole it from surely has put up a reward for it." "That's true," Gray added. "Well, Rhym, I hope you don't mind, but I think I just got you and zisagawa here in serious trouble." "Don't worry about it," Rhym smiled, thinking quietly to himself. Zisagawa nodded in agreement.

"I'm not going to give it up." "Wouldn't have asked you to," Gray smiled, finally cheering up. Kitten laughed a bit, then resumed eating her health bar. "What the..?!" They all turned to zisagawa. "This is fake!" he cried, holding up the zen from his wallet. Gray examined it carefully, then nodded. "Yep." "I wondered why Drake handed 'em back," Rhym added.

"What about you?" Gray turned to Kitten. "I didn't have any zen inside. It was just some numbers I had written down." "Ah." "I'm gonna go trash this stuff," zisagawa moaned. He was upset that what little zen he had had was gone. "Don't worry. With us, you don't need zen," Kitten laughed, smiling at Gray.

Direct transportation was very expensive, but it got you where you wanted to go instantly. Akso frequently used it, because he didn't like waiting around. When he appeared in Kasharo's garage, he used Kasharo's terminal to bring another of his favorite mechs to his location. The mech was a Hunter-class individual battle mech.

Hunters were among the best single-person mechs there were. They weren't nearly as maneuverable as Dancers, but they could still dodge prettly well. They had high base durability and a pretty good top speed. They had filght capability, as well, though they were a bit slower in the air than they were on the ground. They could carry several weapons, including most heavy weaponry, and Sako had his configured for maximum firepower. He'd added several defense-based modifications as well. Of course, all this came at a price. Hunter-class mechs were among the most expensive single-person mechs. Hunters weren't too common because of their cost, but Sako was good enough to make the money to afford one. The Hunter would be ideal for Sako's task.

While Sako was prepping the Hunter, Kasharo was speaking to someone on the terminal. A couple minutes later, Sako was notified that he had recieved a message. "Hey, Kasharo!" he called. "Mind if I use your terminal? I just got a message, and I hate having to pay to read my messages."

"Go ahead."

"Thanks." Sako walked over to the terminal and accessed his messages.

You have one message. Message was sent by Drake.

The message was displayed onscreen, and Sako read it.

Sako selected the 'Reply' option.

I do not collaborate ahead of time. If I run into you durring the job, then we might as well work together, but I'm not going to come looking for you. If we happen to meet, we'll work together, but if we don't, then whoever does the job gets the cash. Nothing personal, Drake. That's just how I work.

Time to get a move on, Sako thought. He accessed general channels for information. He didn't learn much, but he did get a general idea of where to look. When he was done, he logged out of the terminal. He finished prepping the Hunter, then activated it and took of. The hunt was on.

Drake waited for the Falcron to come to him. It seemed like it was taking forever. He started to wonder if that Sako guy got his message. He just saw that he got a message from that person. Luckily, he was near the Rhino, which could be used to read the message. Drake climbed up in the Rhino's cockpit and went to the control panel. He looked at the screen and it said that he had to pay 100 zen to read the message. He had enough, so he decided to. He read the message. It said as follows.

I do not collaborate ahead of time. If I run into you durring the job, then we might as well work together, but I'm not going to come looking for you. If we happen to meet, we'll work together, but if we don't, then whoever does the job gets the cash. Nothing personal, Drake. That's just how I work.
Sako

Drake laughed to himself and decided to message back. He knew that he would probably need help with this. He typed and make his message say.

My friend, I KNOW who took that mech. I have met them before. There were three people, so I'm asking for a truce. If there is one thing that I've learned, it is to always prepare for the worst. Most likely all of those peopel are bound to have a mech. So, if you would join me, then that would be 3 vs. 3. I may have not mention it before, but a friend of mine is going to be piloting another mech of mine. So naturally, we have two people, but she is not the best mech pilot in the world. If the enemy were to find that out, they would double team her and she would fall. Even I can't take on three mechs, so I'm asking you, I know that we can't do this divided. I could arrange a meeting place if you would like. Please, we need this truce.
Drake.

After this, Drake decided that he would keep the Rhino down here. He waited some more, until his ships came down. They were carrying his glorious mech, the Falcron. It's silvery wings and great frame, made it Drake's best mech yet. You could say that his luck skill played when he invented this. It was indeed a mech that ranked into the class level of AAA. It was the highest you could go. There were not many mechs that could get to AAA. In fact, that Griffin mech SHOULD only be a level AA, but never underestimat players. Drake's crew dropped of the Falcron and started to go to the Rhino. He patched to them and said," You won't need to pick up the Rhino. Kay is going to be flying it."
"Are you sure about that sir?"
"Yes I am"
"You don't want us to bring down the Sea Serpent?"
"No, I don't think that we'll need Omega. Our opponent isn't THAT tough. But if we do need to use the team mech, then so be it."
"All right."
Drake directed for Kay to get in the Rhino, she nodded and got in. Drake went inside the Falcron. He looked inside and he felt like he was right at home. The cockpit was designed just for him and only him. He started up the Falcron and took off into the air. Drake started to laugh, "Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty, Kitty."

OOC: Pompus ass. =p And I bet you don't even know what that is. XD

IC:

After taking their little break, the four of them began thinking of plans to counter any attempts at retrieval of their stolen mech.

"We have four people here. I have a mech, zisagawa has a mech, and you two share a mech," Rhym explained. "Yeah, but I drive. I'm better at piloting," Kitten smiled. "No you aren't. You put all your mechs to the extreme, and they always end up in a horrible condition, be-yond repair. If somebody does come after us, they will be using a mech. No question about it. And I'm not sure I can trust you to pilot the Griffyn in battle," Gray countered.

"Ah, but have you ever seen me battle in a mech like the Griffyn? I think not. You've only seen me pilot crappy C mechs in battle. Do you know the Griffyn's rank!? I don't think it's possible for me to destroy it," Kitten insisted.

"Uh.. guys? What if they come with more than one mech? Like, they bring friends?" zisagawa interuppted. "Good point," Rhym nodded. "They'll need an army of friends to take all of us down," Kitten laughed. "Unless you get careless," Gray added. She turned and stuck her tongue out at him, making them all laugh.

"What if we just leave the planet?" zisagawa suggested. "We could possible avoid this whole thing for a while." "No. They'll probably be checking all outgoing aircraft, so we couldn't sneek it off the pl--" "Yes we could!" Kitten squealed. "What are you talking about?" Rhym asked, wondering why he was interuppted.

"Gray's ship! We could bring it down here!" "Directly? Wouldn't someone notice? You could just get us in more trouble that way." "So what?" Kitten retorted. "It's not like you two have to come. Gray and I are already wanted players, you know. Hell, he's risking getting his account suspended!" "And what about you?" Rhym interuppted.

"Well.. They've threatened me with account deletion for my 'unwillingness' to help catch a known hacker. But I wasn't being unwilling! I just didn't have Z's stupid hacking item."

They were silent. You had to do several very serious crimes to get threatened with account deletion. And they all knew several examples. Most of which, Kitten had been wrongly accused of.

"You seriously need to play safer, Rin," Gray laughed after a while. "GRAY!" she shouted. She didn't like anybody knowing her real name, besides close friends of course.

"Rin, huh? That's a beautiful name," zisagawa muttered. "That's okay, Kitten," Rhym smiled, "Nothing wrong with letting a few friends know your name, eh?" He laughed a bit. "Yeah.." she grumbled.

All of a sudden, Gray recieved a message. "Huh? Hey Rhym? You got a terminal around here?" "Yeah. In my office. Com'mon, I'll unlock it for you." "I'm coming," Kitten added, standing up with them. They stared at her. "What? I wanna read the message, too, you know," she explained. "Com'mon zisagawa. You can come, too," she invited, giving him her hand.

As Sako was flying twoard the area, he recieved another message. Guessing that it was from Drake, he decided to pay to read it.

Drake.

If I'm right and the Griffin is indeed in the general area I think it is, Sako thought, then Drake will be here, too, meaning that he'd be close enough to locate and contact.

Sako scanned the area, something that Hunter-class mechs did very well. They were called Hunter-class for a reason, after all. Of course, a Griffin wouldn't show up on even a Hunter's scanners if cloaked, but Drake and his partner should. And there weren't many mechs in the area. In fact, Sako only detected two. Ant they were together. Sako diverted course towards them.

When Sako entered visual range, he could confirm what his sensors told him about the two mechs. They were indeed a Rhino and a Falcron, both very good mechs, especially the Falcron, which Sako assumd was the one Drake was operating. Indeed, Falcrons were by far the rarest single-person mechs in existance, and also the most expensive. Sako was saving up for one. Of course, a Griffin was supirior.

While Falcrons were indeed AAA mechs and a Griffin was an AA, a Griffin was designed as a multi-person mech, and those were always much more dangerous in the hands of skilled operators than single-person mechs, and a class AA multi-person mech could normally rip a class AAA single-person mech to shreds if the right people were operating it. Of course, the right person could take a Griffin in even a class A single-person mech, but that was not easy. Sako was probably that good, but he had no intention of testing his skill in that manner, which was why he was using the Hunter, a class AA single-person mech. He was good enough to take a Griffin in a Hunter unless the Griffin was fully manned by very skilled operators, although it would certainly be tough even if there was only a single person operating the Griffin. If there were other mechs to fight besides the Griffin, it would be nearly impossible. Which was why Sako had decided to scan the area for Drake. He had diverted course because Drake was nearby, meaning that the course change wasn't a significant delay.

Sako took the Hunter to full speed and flew directly at the Falcron. At the last second before colision, Sako dropped under the Falcron and spun in midair to face it. He waited as the Falcron and Rhino took up positions on either side of him, then requested an open com channel between his Hunter and the Falcron. The Falcron's operator accepted the request and opened a channel.

"You need to be more aware," Sako said. "If I wanted to, I could have done some serious damage."

"Who the hell are you?" the Falcron's operater demanded to know.

"My name is Sako. I believe you've been trying to collaborate with me. Drake, right?"

Drake nodded. "That's me."

"Thought so. There were only two uncloked mechs in scanner range, so I assumed they were you and your partner. Obviously, I was right. Now, no sense in wasting time. You and your partner know who stole the Griffin, right? You two land and see if you can find the person or people responsible. For starters, check mech garages. The Griffin probably didn't have much fuel when it was stolen. Most of the time, mechs don't have much fuel when they're in garages, so the Griffin probably needs gas. So, check mech garages first, then any other place you think the person or people might be. Make sure you never get too far from your mechs.

"While you two are busy doing that, I'll stay in my mech and see if I can spot the Griffin itself. If I do and it's off, I'll contact you two and we'll meet by it. We'll have our mechs sent into storage-don't worry about the cost, because Karalos is covering all expenses-then we'll commandeer the Griffin and take it back to Karalos. If the Griffin is active, I'll keep it busy while you two get back into your mechs, and then we'll kick the crap out of it, after which we'll call Karalos. Now, if you two find the person or people who stole the Griffin, message me-you can't com me when you're not in your mechs, so a message will have to do-and tell me where you are. I'll come as fast as I can, and we'll make them show us where the Griffin is. After they do that, we'll detain them until the authorities arrive, then take the Griffin back to Karalos. Any questions or complaints? If not, then let's get to work."

"That was Angy," Gray told everyone. "Angy? What did she say?" "She said she met with an old friend. The two of them are going to hang out for the day," he laughed. "As in, 'You won't see my sorry ass'." Kitten laughed, too, knowing that Angy was the type of person to plan something, then totally ditch it for something else.

It was for that reason that they were such good friends.

"Hey," Rhym called from the opposite side of the office. "What?" Gray asked, running over wiht Kitten behind him. "The garage scanner. It's acting funny," zisagawa told them. "No, it's not 'acting funny'," Rhym muttered, "It's picking up three mech signals. There are two together and one seperate. That one's heading towards us."

"What?!" "I told you they'd bring friends," zisagawa added. "Shut it," Gray ordered, running out to the Griffyn with Kitten close behind. "Well? Let's go," Rhym smiled to him, running off to his mech, leaving zisagawa alone in the office for a moment. "Hey!"

"Alright, I drive." "No, you're guns. I'm driving," Gray ordered. "What?" "You're better at weaponry than I am, and you know it," he insisted. "Besides. You aren't the best at dodging, you know," he smiled, remembering an old incident with a Desert Snake mech.

"Screw you," Kitten muttered, running to the weaponry operation room. Gray laughed and took a seat in the pilot's chair, and began turning everything on.

Inside her 'cockpit', Kitten was busy flipping switches and warming up the heavy weaponry. She pushed a button and could hear Gray. "Gray?" "What the?!" he shouted, a little startled. "Sorry. Found the intercom button." "Oh, heh," he chuckled, sitting back down. "Hey, do you know how much armor that guy put on this thing?"

"A lot." "You sure?" Kitten asked. "Yep. But, lucky for us, the Griffyn can manuever just as well with ten times its weight in armor placed on it. This guy only put three times its weight," Gray reassured her. "Damn... They aren't gettin' this baby back!" Kitten proclaimed. "Yeah. Easier said than done." "We've got Rhym and zisagawa backin' us up, too, you know. We've got it made. Relax," Kitten insisted.

"Okay. Well, everything's ready to go. I'm going to put on the cloak, and watch this baby fly," Gray laughed. "Mech scanners can't possibly pick us up... right?" "Not with a cloak. No way." "Bitchin'," Kitten laughed. "Well? Let's get movin'."

And with that, Gray turned on the cloaking device and placed the Griffyn in flight mode. He started off slowly, then began zooming across the planet's surface. "You better not run into him," Kitten joked, pulling down the visor. "I promise I won't," Gray laughed. "Woah..." "What?" "This thing's weapon visor is sooo much better than your ships. Hell, this'll be easy!"

"Don't get too cocky." "Don't run us into the ground." "Deal." Closing in quickly on the enemy mech, the two quieted and concentrated in silence.

The radio crackled to life, startling the two of them. They heard Rhym's voice. "We're going to take on the other two." Gray searched for the button that would allow him to respond. "Found it," he muttered. "Alright. We've got the single." "Meet up with you soon." "Keep in contact," Gray reminded him. "You got it," Rhym said before clicking out.

"I see it!" Kitten called out excitedly.

"Well, it is most likely my friend, that they are going to be using cloaking for a surprise attack. Luckily, I invented this eyeshield to track invisible things. It has an attachemt to the mech, which I used to track it the first time it turned invisible. Sadly, the attachment takes up a lot of power, so I can only use the scanner for about three minutes when used in the mech. Then I have to charge it. I'll show you how it works, turn on your cloak."
"No"
"Come on"
"No, we are wasting time!"
"It'll just show you that I can detect it when it's invisible."
"Fine, only if it'll make us go"
"Alright"
Sako turned on his mech's cloaking device.
"Alright, now, move around or go up in the air or something."
The mech did something that wasn't visible to him yet. Drake took the cord from his eyeshield and plugged it into the Falcron. Drake looked all around him and didn't see anything. He looked up and saw the Hunter mech, but, he also saw something that caught his eye. He saw the Griffin mech, which was currently preparing to fire at the Hunter.
"LOOK OUT!" He said. He fired a blast from the Falcron's wrist gun, which was a direct hit to the Griffin. It would've done more damage this time then it would've when it didn't have the cloak. Like Drake observed before, cloaks take up all the shields power, making every blast taken at full force. The cloak started to disappear and the Griffin was visible.
"What the hell!?" Sako said. Drake tried to patch a communication with the Griffin.
"Now listen here Kitty, I know that Mech isn't yours. You shouldn't take things that aren't yours"
"Listen to your own advice. You're the one who stole my wallet!"
"He's the one!?" Yelled Gray.
"Just lookin out for number one! Besides, you didn't seem to care enough about your wallet to put up a reward! HA HA HA!"
"ENOUGH! I will destroy you for violating Kitty!" Gray said.
"I'd like to see you try son. I'm a very experienced mech pilot."
"I don't think that a Falcron Blurprint mech will do to well against a Griffin."
"Ah, but this is a CUSTOM built Falcron. More expensive, more powerful. It may come to you as a surprised, that this mech may have some gadgets that aren't on a regular Falcron. I hope it doesn't have to some to the Orchist Beam though. Well, let's start this!" said Drake, as he had and energy sword come out from the top of the Falcron's wrist. MECH BATTLE!

RHYM'S MECH
Rhym's mech is... quite interesting. It had started as a B-Level Terrapin-Class mech. Terrapin-Class mechs are famous for their defense and infamous for their maneuverability. They are most effective in small groups against small groups of enemies. It resembles a giant, metallic armadillo with a spiked back. In fact, one of the most effective techniques for a beginner in a Terrapin is to curl up in a ball and wait for the enemy to either lose interest or find a bigger gun.

Over the years, (game years, that is,) Rhym's mech has accumulated various parts and has had other parts scrapped until it was almost unrecognizable as a Terrapin. Armor was added, increasing the level of defense. However, its speed, never high to begin with, was sacrificed again. The Terrapin's specs are overall better than average, (ignoring its speed,) having undergone countless tune-ups and modifications. Its left appendage, which resembles an armadillo's claw, has been turned into a missile pack. The claws on its left appendage are sharpened and lengthed for close-range melee fights. A heavy blaster is affixed to the right shoulder and a minigun is attached to the left. But what makes this mech Rhym's pride and joy is in how the back was upgraded. He had taken the newbie's strategy to the next level, attaching high-speed treads just under the surface. As a result, when Rhym curls into a ball, he can propell himself at high speeds along the ground towards an enemy. With all of its modifications, it can easily be a low A-Level, but in Rhym's familiar hands, it can perhaps be ranked as a AA-Level on a very good day.

OKAY BACK TO THE STORY
Rhym was not the best pilot in the world. In fact, on a scale of one to ten, he was probably just an eight. And here he was facing some elevens and twelves.

His heart was pounding heavily. I knew I should have increased my Intelligence. But no, I'm a handyman. I don't need Intelligence. Oh, no, you're never going to face two AA-Level mechs and a AAA-Level mech. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, NOT ONE BIT.

Rhym opened communication with Zisagawa's mech.
"Okay, Zisagawa, I'll take the Rhino-Class mech. You take on whomever you see fit. I have a feeling Kitten and Gray will focus on the Falcron."
Zisagawa's voice crackled back. "Roger."

Rhym cracked his knuckles. Showtime.

Well, I guess I'll put up Falcron's and Rhino's profile.

Mech Name: Rhino

Mech Level: AA

The Rhino is a very good assault mech. It has great defense, even better offense, but sadly, very slow speed. It has many heavy weapons that it can wield, such as the Buster Cannon, which it will be using in this fight. The Rhino, depeding on the driver, also has a good melee attack. It has strong fist and arms to make its punch strong enough to dent almost any metal. On the Rhino's feet are jet-boosters. Since the Rhino has such an incredible weight, in cannot use these to fly, but it will use the jet-boosters as a gadget to jump high in the air and fire aerial shots or perharps, squash the opponent using its own weight. Another gadget that the Rhino will be using in this fight is the Posotron Blast. This you can think of as the Peacemaker off of Jak II. If you haven't played Jak II, then this pretty much charges up a giant electrical blast and fired it into the form of a ball. It is deadly usually, but in this case, it will do medium damage. For the last thing the Rhino is using is the Energy Claymore. This is pretty much a two-handed energy sword which will slice through mostly anything.

Mech Name: Falcron

Mech Rank: AAA

The Falcron is a very rare and very powerful mech. But, since Drake custom built his, he actually made it stronger. One of the many Falcron's gadgets that it will be using is the missles it stores in it's wings. This is common among all Falcron mech. The missles will either go out one by one and seek an enemy or Drake can fire a whole fury of them. This gets rid of missles quickly, but it can be devastating to the opponent. Another of the Falcron's gadgets is it's energy sword. This is a basic energy sword that comes out of the top of the mech's wrist. It is used for mainly close ranged combat. Another gadget, is the basic standard blaster. It shoot little bullets of energy at the opponent. This weapon doesn't have a high damage rate, but can fire at incredible speeds. One of Drake's favorite gadgets, is the laser fingers. This is another attachement that you won't find on a regular Falcron. This basically fires out a continuous laser from all of the Falcron's fingers. They can be fired at the same time, or in a rolling manner. Last, but the best gadget is, the Orchist Beam. This is a gadget that no mech will have unless custom built. The Orchist Beam is a poweful beam, that Drake has been recorded to take down even an army. Although it is a very poweful beam, it takes a long time to charge for that powerful of a blast and will take up about 3/4 of the Falcron's overall operating power. Drake will only use this as a last resort and only if he has enough time to charge it or a partner to cover him.

Mech Profile: Hunter

Hunter-class mechs are rank AA mechs. As fits the name, Hunters have excellent sensor equipment. They can't detect cloaked mechs, but they can detect enough emmissions to get a near-exact location of a cloaked mech. Hunters also have the best self-monitering equipment there is, making it virtually impossible to scan one without it picking up your scan.

Hunter-class mechs have very good base stats, although manuverability and speed are normally lower than the others. Hunters are durable, and can carry most varieties of weapons, including the heavier ones. Sako's was equiped with a pair of EPT-A semi-auto pistols with explosive rounds, one MGS-H armor-piercing machine gun with adjustable spread, an ESS-H sniper rifle with explosive rounds and a laser sight, and an RLD-H dual rocket launcher that fired two rockets at a time. The rockets had a slight hming capability. The launcher itself was quite bulky, but Sako was willing to sacrifice a bit of manuverability for the firepower the RLD-H offered.

David pulled himself back into reality long enough to turn on some music. He always used his own music for mech battles, except those in the Arena. Today's band was Rammstien, and the song was Moskau. With the music playing, David immersed himself in Sako's world again, and got ready to kick some ass.

"Zisagawa, an update of the situation." Rhym spoke into the com port. "I'd say that Gray and Kitten are going to be attacked by both the Falcron and the Hunter. Since I'm going to attack the Rhino, that leaves you out of the picture. Be prepared to back up either one of us."
"Roger," replied Zisagawa.

While the Terrapin was approaching the Rhino, Rhym took the opportunity to scan the other mechs. They were all heavily modified, but not with anything that Gray and Kitten couldn't handle. Until, of course, he scanned the Falcron.

Rhym opened communication with the Griffyn. "Guys, you're not going to believe this."
"Bad news?"
"You could say that. Or, you coud say that our friend in the Falcron has managed to equip it with an Orchist beam."
Gray let out a low whistle. Kitten said, "What did he have to do in order to get that?"
"No idea," said Rhym. "Needless to say, make sure you keep him too busy to fire that puppy. Zisagawa!" Rhym opened his channel. "I assume you know what an Orchist beam is?"
"Sounds bad. What is it?"
"Can't fully explain right now. You fire it at things, they stop existing. Why I bring this up is this: the Falcron has one of those. Change of strategy: if the Griffyn is ever too busy with the Hunter to deal with the Falcron, go after the Falcron. Do everything you can to stop it from charging that sucker up. Are we clear?"
"Sounds good."
"Ciao for now. Gotta take care of this Rhino."
"Good luck!"

Communications temporarily over, he cranked the volume on his tunes. Some symphonic metal, maybe. It would certainly be fitting for the situation. He settled with "The Soulforged," by Blind Guardian.

By now, he had reached the Rhino. At this point, they circled each other, each waiting for the other to make a move. Rhym feinted right, and the Rhino opened fire with a buster cannon at the patch of ground it assumed Rhym was heading for. Rhym, however, surged forward and left, launching missiles from the pack on his left arm. Some struck home, but the Rhino had corrected its aim by now and scored some in return. They disengaged and backed to the edges of the circle. For several tense seconds, they studied each other. The Rhino moved first this time, charging a Positronic blast to fire at the Terrapin. Rhym strafed right, opening fire with the shoulder-mounted minigun until the Positron gun was fully charged, at which point Rhym stopped.

Your move, buddy, thought Rhym.

"Kay's engaging a Terrapin," Sako informed Drake. "That other enemy mech isn't doing anything yet. I'll keep an eye on it, and I'll help you with the Griffin until it makes a move."

"Got it," Drake replied.

"Griffins are tough, so go with your heaviest weapon. What do you have on that thing?"

"Standard wing-mounted missile launchers are probably the best bet," Drake said.

"'The best bet'? What else do you have?"

"Standard energy gun, an energy sword, and lasers in the fingers. Oh, and an Orchist Beam."

That one shocked Sako. "You have an Orchist Beam on that thing?! Jesus Christ, Drake! What the hell did you have to do to get that thing? Never mind, it doesn't matter. Just use the damn thing! Yes, I know it takes a long time to charges, and the Griffin's quick enough that you probably won't get a dircet hit, but even a nick with itwould beat the shit out of the damn thing."

"It akes too long to charge," Drake replied.

"I'll cover you. Sure, we'd both take heavy damage, but our employer is covering repair costs, and with me covering you, I doubt that they can take you out before you can fire. In fact, we'll cal Kay up here, too. The two of us should be more than able to keep you alive long enough. It's your choice, ofcourse, but that's my recommendation."

-----------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: I'm going to be gone for two weeks on vacation. Albel, when the battle ends, have Sako leave with his part of the money (unless you end p with a different outcome than mine, which it doesn't look like we will). Kitty, address your PMs to Albel instead of me.

OOC: Oops. Took a while to get this up. >.>;;
---

Mech Name: Griffin

Rank: AA

Griffyns, though not AAA ranked, are some of the best and rarest mechs out there. Their bases come pretty expensive, and upgrades and suitable weaponry are just as hard to come by. But if its owner finds the right equipment, their value doesn't matter. The Griffyn becomes four times as deadly with two skilled pilots. One for movement, the other for weapons. And Griffyns can have nearly ten times their base weight in armor. The Griffyn, having four limbs, is not capable of hand-to-hand combat.

This particular Griffyn has been equiped with three times itself in armor, enough to protect it plenty and not hinder its agility one bit. It's equiped with advanced radars and weaponry visor, a cloaking device, large shoulder cannons (including hind legs), and claws capable of being fired out of its "paws". It also has a large particle cannon in its mouth, but it doesn't fire for long, and the longer it goes, the weaker the beam gets. But it still does quite a bit of damage. And the weapons can be fired in any direction, no matter where it's going.
--------------

"Com'mon Gray. Don't freak out over the stupid wallet thing," Kitten urged him excitedly. "I need you to keep focused." "I know.." he muttered, "But I'm still gonna kill him." "Riiiiight," she laughed.

The Hunter circled, preparing for something. "They're obviously planning something," Kitten thought aloud. "Yeah? I don't care," Gray interrupted, "I'm going for Drake, and only Drake!" "Gray!" Kitten called out. But it was too late. The Griffyn was already charging at the Falcron. "Watch it!" she cried again, firing the left-side cannons at the incoming Hunter.

It flew back, now knowing a little about its weapon capabilty. "You idiot!" Kitten screamed. "What? You got him, didn't you?" he retorted, skidding the mech to a halt. "Next time, we might not be so lucky! Keep your attention on the Hunter, too," she ordered. "I'm not going to let you screw this up!"

OOC: Since Takuya is gone, I'm gonna have to post as Drake, Kay, AND include at what Sako does. Damn, this is gonna be a bitch to do.

IC: Drake waited as the Griffin charged him. (Foolish move Gray) he though. Drake waited more and when the time was right, he dodged and shoved his energy sword into the side of Griffin. As the Falcron was dragged with the Griffin's charging, Drake pulled the Falcron on top of the Griffin. Drake had the situation mostly under control. He sheathed his energy sword from the side of the Griffin. It was a smart thing to do, since energy swords let out an impulse of energy when drawn and sheathed. It was bound to make the technology around there to malfunction for a minute or so. Wasn't much, but every little bit counts. As Drake had the Falcron on top of the Griffin, he put the mech's fingers right at the plate. He let out every laser in his finger and dragged them down as he slid off the mech. Drake then got his balance back and looked as he saw the Griffin turn to face him. Drake was going to go on the intercom and piss off Gray, so he wouldn't think about his actions.
"Hey Gray! I thought you said that you would kill me. From the looks of it, that seemed like an empty promise."
"SHUT UP! DIE!" said Gray, as he charged at the Falcron again. Drake charged right back at the Griffin. He wasn't going to have a head on collision. As he came close, Drake slanted to the left and was about to draw his sword, but was met by a blast from one of the cannons on the Griffin. It sent the Falcron flying back a ways. Drake then said over the intercom," I'm trying to decide if I should go all out on you"
"Why aren't you going all out right now?"
"Because if I did, I would kill you in a matter of seconds! THAT is how good of a mech pilot I am." he said. But, that just reminded him how Kay isn't at all a good mech pilot. He checked on her to see how she was doing.

~CHARACTER SWITCH~

Kay and the Terripin mech were still waiting for one to move. Kay started to think that firing the Positron cannon might not be the best idea. She tried to think what Drake would do if HE were in the Rhino. She started to remember that Drake would use the environment when he was in the Rhino and they were on a dessert planet. THAT WAS IT! Kay pointed the blast near the Terripin mech, but a little aways from it, at its feet. She let it fly and a huge storm of sand went up. Kay turned on the scanner and looked for the mech. It was right in front of her, still trying to figure out what the hell she was trying to do. Kay ran through the sand cloud and used the Rhino's melee attack as hard as she could get it to go. It hit the Terripin and sent it flying back a few hundred yards. She looked zoomed in and saw that it made a dent in the Terripin's armor. Rhym patched in and said,"Now that's not very lady like"
"Hey, I'm not treated like a lady from you."
"True, true"
"Enough talk" said Kay, as she started firing the Buster Cannon from one hand and the Posotron Blast in a fury attack. It was one of the best things that she could do, she was pretty much a complete noob in the Rhino. She just kept firing hoping that this would win her the fight.

The Terrapin's armor was dented, a signifigant feat to pull off. That's a strong melee attack on that Rhino, he thought. I'll have to avoid it if I want to win. He opened communications with the pilot of the Rhino, a user named Kay with a female avatar.

"That wasn't very lady-like of you," he said.
"Hey, I'm not treated like a lady from you," she replied.
"True, true." Rhym had to give her that.
"Enough talk," she said, and closed the channel. Her mech opened fire with the buster cannon and positron blaster. That's not a very good strategy, Rhym thought. In fact, she isn't handling herself very well. Perhaps she's new to the Rhino? Shots were, in any event, hastening towards the Terrapin, pulling him out of his internal monologue. He curled his mech up into a ball and fired up the treads. The Terrapin shot forward and smashed into the Rhino, too fast for Kay to dodge. It damaged the Rhino considerably, but the fight wasn't over yet.

OOC: Well, I'm doing the same thing as Takuya, sadly. I'm leaving on Wednesday and coming back the first Sunday after Christmas. So, maybe this post is just gonna have to hibernate for a bit. Or maybe someone can take over my posts, I don't know.

OOC: Hmmm, I'm not sure, but we MIGHT have to postpone this fight until everyone is back from the holidays.

IC: Kay was trying to recover from the might blow she just took from the Terripin mech. It was pretty obvious that wildly firing wouldn't win her the fight. She had to think quick. She seemed to actually do good when she used the environment to her advantage. Kay just got an idea then. The booster on the Rhino's heels, she would use with the environment. She let out power from the boosters as much as she could, without actually lifting the Rhino. This was starting to create a dust storm all around the Rhino. Kay was posotive that this plan would work. Almost the only way for him to see her, was to scan, other then that, he would have to wildly fire. When Kay scanned and found her target, she fired the buster cannon right at it. It was completley surprised and she landed a direct hit. Kay then increased the power of the thrusters to make her fly a little bit. She boosted her jump and came down with the Rhino's closed fist. With the strength the Rhino already had plus its emense weight with it, would be bound to have catastrophic results. She looked at the Terripin, trying to recover from the imense blow it just suffered.

OOC: Don't have enough time to post as Drake.

OOC: Well, I got back earlier than I expected.

--------------------------------------------------------

Sako hadn't yet fired a single shot. He was analyzing the attack pattern of the Griffin, and wondering about that still unmoving third mech. Then it hit him. These people think the Griffin can take care of both Drake and I. The third mech is holding back in case support is needed. They've probably picked up the Orchist Beam, and it'll undoubtably come rushing in if Drake starts to charge the thing up.

Sako opened a channel with Drake. 'Don't use the Orchist Beam," he said. "That third mech's probably waiting for you to start charging."

"Understood," Drake replied. "Think you could lend me a hand with the Griffin?"

"Just waiting for a good opportunity. If I time this right, that damn Griffin won't know what hit it."

Drake stopped talking as the Griffin charged him again. Whoever's piloting that thing doesn't seem to be thinking straight, Sako thought. Clearly a skilled pilot, and probably has piloted a Griffin before, but not thinking clearly. Anger, maybe, or overconfidence. Whatever it is, it's certainly a good thing. The weapons aren't doing so well, though. Whoever's acting as gunner on that thing is skilled, but probably not familiar with a Griffin-clas mech. And that suggests a logical course of action."

Sako waited until the Griffin was facing away from him and made his move. He charged the Griffin. When the gunner noticed him, he or she {OOC: Sako doesn't know who's in the Griffin, remember} fired the rear shoulder cannons. Sako cut the thrusters and dropped altitude rapidly, one of his favorite moves. Before the gunner realized what had happened, Sako pulled out the RLD-H and fired twice, sending four rockets into the Griffin's underside.

-----------------------------------------------------------

OOC: I think I should probably explain the system I've been using for the weapon identifiers. No, you don't have to use it. I just think you should know how I come up with the identifiers.

1: The first two letters indicate the type of weapon. For example, 'EP' means 'Explosive Pistol', while 'RL' means 'Rocket Launcher'.

2: The third letter provides an additional description. 'T' means the weapon is designed to be used in pairs. 'D' means that the weapon fires two shots at once. 'E' means that the weapon is an energy weapon. If no additional descriptions apply, then 'S', which indicates that the weapon is designed for one to be used at a time as opposed to the 'T' weapons that are used in pairs, is used.

3: The letter folowing the '-' indicates wether or not the weapon is specialized for a particular mech class. A 'D' indicates a Dancer-specialized weapon, while an H indicates a Hunter-specialized one. An 'A' indicates that a weapon is equally suited for use by all mechs.

Hope that made sense.

"GRAY!" Kitten shouted, slaming her fist down on her chair's arm rest. The Griffin stopped moving. She heard a click, then heard Gray's voice. "What?" He sounded very anxious.

"Keep it together. You're going to make us loose the Griffin. I want to keep this thing, remember?" "I remember." "If you aren't capable of calmly piloting this thing, I'm going to have to do it," she told him grimly. "What?!" he asked, rather shrilly. "You're doing a crap-ass job, so far. Keep this up, and they'll tear us apart," she explained.

"You know I'm a better pilot than you are! You know--" "I know that! But anyone'd be better than you in your current state!" Gray became quiet. "So?" Kitten sounded, expecting an answer.

Gray sat, head leaned against his fist, thinking it over in the piloting cockpit. I'm not doing anything wrong.. he thought to himself, I'm going to continue to pilot. Whether Rin accepts that or not is her problem. He spoke out his decision, then turned off the intercom. He grabbed the controls and wagged the tail.

"Gray.." Kitten whispered. She shook her head, then placed the weapon goggles over her eyes. "This battle's far from over."

Meanwhile, Rhym was having a hard time with the Rhino. "Where'd she go?" he muttered, looking around. After severly damaging the Terrapin, Kay and her mech had, once again, disappeared back into the sands. "I guess I'll just go--" But before he could finish his sentence, Rhym and the Terrapin were thrown many yards from where they had just been.

"What the--!?" he shouted, recovering quickly. Not wanting to risk another attack, Rhym lunged off towards the Griffin, where he hoped he'd be able to escape the Rhino for the meantime.

"Rhym's coming," Kitten told Gray. She said it quickly, not really wanting to talk with him at the moment. Gray didn't reopen the intercom, either. He didn't want to be the first to apologize. Afterall, what was there to apologize for? He just looked to the left to see Rhym, in his mech, zooming up quickly, kicking up a lot of sand behind him.

"Here comes the help," Gray muttered, anger lingering in his bland tone. Kitten muttered something similar up in the weapons cockpit.

OOC: I hope it's okay if I change it so that my character can use a mech. It's going to be a really weak mech, so it won't do much in a fight. Also, they'll take away her clearance to pilot it, soon.

I need to get away from that Rhino, thought Rhym. I'm getting whomped out there...

Kitty's voice crackled over the intercom. "Here to help?"
Rhym sighed. "Here for sanctuary, if possible. That Rhino pilot is tricky."
"Good luck. We're not faring too well ourselves."
"That's a sh-" The Terrapin's proximity warning went off. "Dammit. Have to go."

Rhym strafed right, spinning around just in time to see the Rhino charging. He unloaded his rocket pack into it while quickly strafing to avoid it. The Rhino, knocked off course by the blasts, crashed into a building, sending up a huge cloud of dust.

It's times like these that I wish I had gotten that particle filter, he thought.

"Quick moving there, Rhym," said Kitty.
"Thanks, but I don't think I can keep it up for that much longer. We may have to escape soon."
"We'll see. Good luck."

Meanwhile, the Rhino had recovered from the crash and was preparing to attack Rhym again. This might get a bit sketchy, thought Rhym.

Kitty tried to recover from the blow. She tried to bring the Rhino's controls back up online. She quickly did and wondered what to do. She looked to the side of her to find a giant pillar like object that was a made of rock. She broke it off of her support and tried to throw it at the Terripin. She was hoping that she had enough accuracy to have it right at the Terripin. She started to run with the rock at the Terripin. She look and saw that she didn't throw it like she wanted to, but still, the Terripin fired at the boulder to make sure it didn't damage it. This was Kay's chance, she drew at the energy claymore and slashed, which sliced right through the Terripin's leg and cut it clean off. Now the Terripin couldn't move, which made Kay able to finish it off. She went closer with the energy sword and spoke out," This isn't what I planned, but still, it was good." But she was met up by blasts from the Terripins cannons. When she retalliated, she saw that the Terripin was going for it's leg, to try and reattach it. She ran and kicked it with the mech as hard as it could. The arm went flying, but unfortunatly, it went flying into Drake's mech. "Oops. Sorry Drake."
"Damnit Kay! Watch where you throw things!"
"I'm sorry"
"It's ok. I'm just stressed out."

~CHARACTER SWITCH~

Drake looked and saw that Kay just sliced off the leg of the Terripin mech. The Griffin turned and he heard the intercom say,"Looks like you could use some help" and the guns were aimed for it. Drake just felt enragment go all through him and jammed his foot right through the Griffin. Since the Falcron's foot was just like a spike, it COULD be used as a weapon, which caused some damage to the Griffin. "I WON'T LET YOU HURT HER!" Drake yelled as he unleashed a fury of slices from his sword and blaster. Drake then grabbed the Griffin with the Falcron and started swinging it around in a circle, going faster and faster each time and then hurled the Griffin into a cliff. He then unleashed a fury of lazers from his fingers and started to charge up the Orchist Beam. "DIVINE LIGHT! COME UNTO ME!" He yelled as a silver looking ball of energy started to form. Soon, he was met by a blast from the mech of Zigzagawa. "ARGH! You do not want to piss me off even more" he said, as he unleashed half of the missles on the Falcron at the mech's thrusters. Only some of them were blasted but, most of them hit the engines and others hit all around it. The thrusters were blown away, making the mech grounded. "Kay, get out of the Terripin's firing scope and take care of that other mech. It'll be more of a challenge, but it'll help a lot." He looked back at the Griffin to see that it had recovered but was severly damaged. These people don't know it, but the Falcron CAN be taken down pretty easily, since it has very thin armor, so that it could be as fast as it was. But since Drake was now furious for them threatening to hurt Kay, he couldn't be stopped. He readied his sword and spoke to them,"You are about to die. Beg for your lives if you wish, but that will not save you from the storm of attacks that will be unleashed on you." The tone in Drake's voice was serious.

~CHARACTER SWITCH~

Kay heard Drake and by the tone in his voice, she was scared of him. She looked up with her eyes. ".....Drake.....please don't do this"

OOC: I felt like ending this thing soon, because this whole RPG can't be with the fight.
