Venom: Now little brother, you will learn not to mess with us. Ryu: Why are you doing this Craig? Venom: There is no Craig, ONLY VENOM!! Ryu: You wait until our plan gets underway, you'll soon be separated from that symbiote. Venom: Oh we think not. Over the years we have build up a resistance to sound amplification. They will risk their lives tring to get a component from Wilson Fisk, for nothing! Ryu: Not anymore, I'm on direct telecom link with them. They heard everything you just said. Venom: Oh, you mean this telecom? Venom holds up a crushed walkie-talkie type thing. Venom: You don'y know your brother as well as you think. You obviously forgot that I was a genious before, and even now. Ryu: Why would you do this Craig? Venom: VENOM!!! No Craig. One day you will learn brother, that crime does pay, if you know how to go about it. I will kill you without a second thought if needs be. Ryu: DAMMIT! I either get that stuff for the Thing... Or save Ryu's neck..... And I've only one chance for both.... Arrghhhh.... If save Ryu, I have to once again become a baddie.... Only to see Ryu swing by. "What? RYU!!! HE'S OKAY!!!!!!" She leapt up onto a building, and followed him to his apartment. He soon reached his apartment door. He opened it, looked around to make sure no one was following him, then ran into his room to analyze and try and find a weakness to the sample of the symbiote suit he had grabbed from Venom. Leona was amazed he was okay. "How'd he escape? Hmm...." She walked in, and went to his room. He was on the computer, typing like mad. "*ahem* Ryu." He turned around. "Huh? Aiiyyeeee!!! Black Cat!!! What are you doing here???" "I need to talk to you." "About what?" "Different things...." "Explain, please." "Umm.... Well... Choices, to put." "Huh?" "It's a long story..." Thing: She is in trouble, she left hours ago to retrieve a rare element from Wilson Fisk. Legend: The Kingpin! Who does she think she is, he is the most powerful crime boss in the city. Thing: It is my fault, I told her to go and get it. I trusted in her abilities..... I was wrong. Legend: She is alive Ben, you just have to have faith in her. Thing: Faith isn't going to be what gets her out of the Kingpins base, she needs help. And I'm going to be that help... Legend: You are going in there? Wow, you old heroes will do anything to save someone won't you? Thing: Old? Well, I guess when you have seen thousands of innocents killed, you just want to prevent any more casualties. Legend: I am going to help you as well, between the two of us we will be able to find Cat and retrieve the element you need. I just hope the Kingpin doesn't have any visitors. Thing: Me too. I will go and get Sue's (The Invisible Womans) helicopter from the hangar. We will meet on top of the Kingpins building in 20 minutes. Kingpin: The Thing and his friend appear to be after something in this building. I don't know what it is yet, but I want you to make sure they never get a hold of it. Rhino: Of course, anything else? Kingpin: No, that will be all. They are on the top floor, if they get any further than that; I am going to have you killed. Rhino: Yes Boss. *The Rhino walks out of the room* Kingpin: What could those two be after? I wonder... [B]Upstairs on the top floor the Thing and Legend are walking through a long hallway, trying to find a way downstairs, two security guards are covered in web and hanging from the celing[/B] Legend: It sure was easy infiltrating this building, I thought he had more security than this. Thing: So did I, this might be a trap. [B]The Thing and Legend walk into the next room , it is a large dining room with large stained glass windows[/B] Legend: Wow, look at this place. Its pretty elaborate. Thing: No kidding, I told you that the Kingpin spares no expense when it comes to leisure. When all of a sudden... Black Cat and Ryu rushed in! Black Cat took out her whip and flung it at the rhino's horn, it caught, and sent him reeling in another direction. He crashed into a wall, got his horn caught in the wall, pulled himself out, then fell unconcsious. Ryu and Blck Cat ran towards Thing and Legend. Leona stopped short in front of them. "Are you guys okay?" Legend rubbed his forehead. "A little shaken. That's all..." Ryu and Leona noded. "Good." "Yah. We were worried you guys would do what you did, rush in, and totally destroy our chance of quietly sneaking in." Thing laughed, and Leona continued. "Anyways. We got the stone. We had just picked it up, when we heard the alarm go off. So we came in here to see what had happened." Legend nodded, and spoke quietly. "I guess you were wrong, Thing. She can be trusted..." The Thing only grunted in response. Ryu pulled out his laptalk, and started to type. "Okay. I'm entering the Kingpin's main computer, and turning off the alarm.. So we can hopefully turn off the alarm and make a clean getaway." Leona nodded in response, sat down next to him, and quietly watched him type. Legend quietly laughed to himself, then leaned over and whispered to the Thing. "Heh... They make a cute couple." But before Thing could laugh. Leona spoke up. "I heard that." Legend sweat dropped. Venom swings away, and soon arrives at Wilson Fisk's company house. Rhino and friends are fighting above. Venom climbs to the top, and shoots a web cat Ryu, then slings him over the side of the building. He swings down and grabs Ryu, then takes him back to the secret warehouse.
