DeadSeraphim
My dream job is to be a (and here's the important part) successful freelance web designer. It's hard to make it in the industry though (market saturation, blegh) unless you're truely L337, so I forsee a long hard slog for me. Failing that I'd probably fall back on the popular 'writer' option. It makes perfect sense; dream job failure = life as a bludger. My writiing skillz aint as good as they could be, though, so I've put all my eggs in the web design basket, lol.
CaptainAnarchy
Hmmm...pro horse trainer, roadie for a famous band...I really don't know. Maybe two jobs, one as a chocolate tester, then another as a fitness equipment tester.
Pumpkin
Hmm..all good ideas. I'm going to have to say that I have alot of Dream Jobs. I do know that I want to be filthy rich (Gucci style baby!) or atleast semi-wealthy. Want to hear my career plan to be rich? great! First off I'll start with the ever popular writing a fantasy novel, possibly a three or four book series. By then it will become as popular as Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, making people interesting in making a movie. Here's the catch, I will also make the screenwriting for the movie and play the main role myself (muhaha) that way I can get more publicity. Then when I win my oscar for best screenwriter and actress I will get more publized. Meanwhile doing appearances on shows and other movies, I will also be available for screenwriting. Not to mention maybe I'll add on my own reality show? Try some modeling. I'm up for anything that pays well actually. I like ChibiHorseWoman's idea, that could ring in alot of dough........ .... Except there is a flaw in my plan........I'm not the best writer XD

Or at least a successful web design business. Which I'm not planning on, but you never know. I have so many dream jobs... 1) Traveling around the world testing exotic cars and using them to pick up hot girls while I'm at it. 2) Project manager for Nintendo or Team Ninja or Bioware or some other developer I respect. 3) Film director who is really loved by studios so I get great budgets and pitching my ideas is stress-free. 4) NINJA. 5) Wanderer who just kicks so much *** and does so much cool stuff that I can survive on the good will of others, like Hercules from Legendary Journeys. 6) Successful film actor
Juke Box Hero
My dream job.... hmm... Chief Exec of Exxon Mobile. Everyone hates giant oil companies, and everyone hates execs. Thus I'd be the maniacally evil badasses exec out to ruin forests and shoot rabbits for fun. Cash, travel, women... that job has it all. Plus a personal helicopter. The highest echelon of Execs of Global Firms make 80-150 mill in an average year. Not to mention expense accounts and stock options... I'd be totally rolling in it. Oooh boy would that rock and roll. On the less materialistic end of things, the job would give me challenging and complex problems to handle. So responsibility: for the employees, the money, the shareholders, my family, my friends, my allies... and the list goes on. I would need to achieve prodigal levels ofstrategic application to merely survive at such a position. And thats my passion- Power under pressure. Guest Faye_Valentine
My dream job would be a guitarist and a singer. I love to sing lots of songs from Green Day, since I'm a HUGE fan of them. But, yeah.. I think I'll just be a guitarist and singer. :D
Kareiyasha
My dream job eh? Hm, I'm guessing that it would have to be something either in advertising of public relations. I love persuading people and I love being in social settings with other people. So that would probably be it for me.
Morpheus
Ahh, another useless...errr..."fun" thread by cheebs. I've found my dream job, and she's wonderful: Stand-up comedy. And I'm not one of those people that actively pursues something because it sounds cool, or because I'll get rich. I'm really good at it. I made my grandma(68 years young) Laugh until she cried. Also, I know getting rich is a possibility, but I don't care as long as I can do stand-up. Which is weird because I want to get rich. But when I do comedy, I feel rich, and that's all that matters. Plus, I don't really do anything on a normal day. I just think about things and the comedy comes to me. It's like a gift.

Maybe you should try that instead of trying to make yourself look cool by making snide remarks over the internet. I would definately like to be a daycare teacher. I like kids. Freelance writing in particular is a lot of hours (and a lot of research) for very little money. Writing is definitely not a career to go with unless you're very passionate about it. Whether you're writing short articles or entire novels, there's a massive amount of work involved in writing professionally at just about all levels. Anyway, I don't have a particular career aspiration. My professional goal is very broad; I want to create something that people get enjoyment from. Whether that involves publishing a book (fiction or non-fiction), creating a film, making a game, creating some kind of toy/fun product, I really don't know. Any of those would be wonderful. The overriding goal is just to give people some kind of fun experience. If, one day, people are coming home from work and reading/watching/interacting with something I've made to get their mind off the daily stresses of the job, I will be a very happy person.

I love my brother(he's 3) but staying w/ him for 8 hours at a time by myself is a pain. Add other kids to the mix and I just can't handle it. You must be VERY patient, CHW. Vicky
Author. A writer. Anything, as long as it's writing stories. My whole life been around writing, in school I don't care about everything else because all I want to do when I grow up is be a writer. I've had some ******** from people about it, but I don't care. I honestly couldn't give a donkeys about what people say about me not being good enough or too young, I'm going to be a writer of any kind and that's it. My dream is to write stories, and it'll always be that. I've got a lot of good years ahead before I'm an adult so I've got all my life to make my dream come true and I intend to do it, God won't stop me. As you can see, I strongly, strongly want to be a writer. That's the reason I RP, and the reason I stick around OB, it's an inspiration.

I've volunteered at my parent's church's nursery and done Sunday school. I've also watched my cousins quite a few times along with my friends' kids. One of my friends has this cute six year old girl who is just a bundle of energy. Have you ever tried to play hide and seek in a one floor house? You should it's a life changing experiance...especially when the kid tries to hide in the dryer. I also took Lincoln's cousin's brother out to the Mall to do his Christmas shopping last Thursday (ie the day before Christmas Eve). Now, he's a great kid, don't get me wrong. Really really nice, he brushed off my car a few times and even volunteered to change my daughter's diapers. But he has a really bad case of ADHD (attention deficite hyper activity disorder) heavy on the hyper activity. And he talks more than me ( I honestly didn't know that was possible) so he kind of puts me in the mind of one of those toy breed dogs on a sugar high. But I can deal with him And I've delt with my brother. So yeah, I can be patient when I have to be.
