God's creations were always perfect but none more so than the angels. The angels were God's most precious and cared for creatures up until he created man. Man was near as perfect as the angels except for minor imperfections that God spent all of his time ironing out.

Some of the angels were unconcerned about God's lack of attention. Others became jealous. God had made the angels so perfect that in some aspects they were even more powerful than Him. As long as He had kept his attention on them they never saw fit to turn against Him.

With God's attention away from home, those who became jealous decided to take matters into their own hands. Lead by God's Left hand, Lucifer, a group spawned that began to secretly plan a coup in Heaven.

It was not long though before God looked back on Heaven and when He discovered these plans, He banished all those that were involved. These became known as the fallen angels. The cast outs, plus others who decided to side with them, modified their appearance so as not to be mistaken for those who had remained faithful.

Lucifer declared war on Heaven and the two opposing forces met in the district between their regions. Lucifer lead the army of Fallen angels and Gabriel lead God's forces. As the two forces met a vortex opened in the middle of the battlefield and numerous angels from both sides were sucked in and scattered around Earth including Lucifer and Gabriel.

From that day many strange occurances on Earth can be led back the two forces. The myth of Dracula was in fact brought on by the appearance of a clumsy fallen angel. That Fallen angel was killed at the hand of Gabriel.

As the centuries progressed, news came to both sides that a human may infact be the key to return to Heaven. Their began a worldwide search for this one Human. The Salem witch hunts were not instituted by the Church but rather by the Fallen angels in their search for "The Key".

The year 2005 and it is believed that "The Key" may have finally reappeared. Both sides have begun a long and frantic search in hope to return to Heaven. The difference being the objectives of the two forces. Lucifer knows that if she can get to Heaven she will be able to finally take control. Gabriel on the other hand wants to reach Heaven and protect God.

Background: Lucifer was once God's left hand but when he turned to man she was one of the first to turn away. She was also the first to change her appearnce when the fallen angels were cast out. As she had once been one of the Trinity she was accepted as the leader of the Fallen Angels with little effort. Little is known about her encounters after being dropped on Earth. It is known that she spent the early stage of her time on Earth searching for her comrades and that it was her who started the Salem witch hunts. After that event though she seemed to disappear from existance until now.

[I]Silence[/I] - Dumah can make himself completely silent. Whether he uses it for assassinations, or intimidation, it is always quite effective.

[I]Shadow[/I] - To an extent, Dumah can manipulat shadows. His power is greatest at night, diminished mostly in the daytime. At night, he can use the shadows to make himself invisible, form blades and projectiles, become ropes, surround his opponent in darkness, and other abilities. However, in day light, he can only form weak attacks, and utilize them for purposes like writing, and ropes.

[I]Death's Embrace[/I] - A dangerous move, requiring Dumah to embrace his foe. While trapped in his arms, his opponent has their life energy slowly drained away.

[B]Personality[/B]: Dumah is silent, solitary, and cold. He only talks to those he must speak to, such as Lucifer. Unlike many of the Fallen Angels, he does not try to prolong pain in battle, preferring to end it quickly for his foes. He has a bitter outlook on life, cynical and harsh. When he speaks, it is usually pessimistic, dark, and brutal. He never minces words, making things short and direct.

[B]Background[/B]: All the Angels were born to serve. Some were made to tend to earth, caring for Gods creatures. Some were made to tend to God himself. Some were made for healing, helping, saving.

Dumah was made to kill.

Since his birth, Dumah served under God as a destroyer of evil. Those that rose up against Gods will, from the first failed Creations to the first Rebel angels, Dumah slayed them all. He was excellent at it, never having any trouble killing those that opposed His law and His Good. But, with the birth of the Humans, everything changed.

Dumah, the silent, the killer, was pushed aside in favor of the imperfect, foolish humans. The perfect Divine Assassin was forgotten for those that should be his targets. Dumah grew to despise the humans, hating everything about them. From their ingrateful scorn of the Lord to their insufferable free will. He dreamed of tearing them apart, ridding the world of the Scourge that is mankind.

When Lucifer rose to power, Dumah was quick to join the cause. He was an excellent addition to the Rebels, slaying the Loyal before they had a chance to react. He was mighty on the battle field. But, alas, God was able to cast the rebels into Hell.

Luckily for Dumah, however, was that Lucifer always had a job for the Angel of the Silence of Death. He became Hell's personal Grim Reaper, killing sinful and pure humans alike, and taking there souls to the pits of Hell. He enjoyed the business, loving an excuse to kill the human menace. But his anger against the Angels and God stewed within him, like his hate for humans had. Now he seeks the Key with fanatical devotion, seeking the ability to finally kill the Angels...

Since I like flaunting my knowledge any time I have some, here's some Angels (Fallen or otherwise) that might be interesting...

Zophiel - A demonic double agent who seemed to be a spy for Heaven, but was actually on the side of Lucifer. He has become the Herald of Hell.

Mephistolese - The demon from the great Dr. Faust.

Xaphan - One of the first Rebel Angels, who proposed burning Heaven down. He controls the bellows of Hell now.

Semyaza - The Leader of the Watcher Angels who was instructed to teach humans Sex. He tought a daughter of Eve so well that he had two Giant sons.

Michael - Perhaps the most famous Archangel, Michael is referred to as the Soldier of God.

Uriel - An archangel charged to guard the gates of Eden with a flaming sword.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[*][b]Encaustum Repetoire[/b]- Mutuol's heart resevoirs a neverending well of black blood. Dark as ink, flowing through his veins, his soul, his ancient power. With his quill, Mutuol can soak parchment with desires, requests of death or health, plans, anything; whatever he writes, shall be committed into memory or into physical format. "So it has been written, so it will be done.." Unique as it may, parchment does not have to be what Mutuol writes upon. In fact, whatever material he chooses becomes what is written upon the surface. If written on flesh of a human, the skin become saturated with blackness and is controlled by Mutuol's ambitions for his "art".


[*][b]Blackness Ensues[/b]- Quills of feather are not the only objects that Mutuol is capable of using. He also uses his own body; drawing blood from any desired body part. With the exposed, ebony blood, Mutuol can manipulate the ink-like substance with his will; forming his blood into whatever mass or form he sees fit. This could be used as a protective barrier, an ensnarement upon an opponent, or it can even be used to infest a body for internal decedance.[/list]

[b]Background[/b]- It is said that angels have been "born" into humans and stay in the Earth realm to protect and guide men. Jesus was the first "born" angel, of the Virgin Mary. Many others followed, but were silent and watchful; fooling humanity into believing of the "rebirth" of the Messiah. Words in the Heavens spoke of another, an "unborn" son. The Messiah that was supposedly to return to the people. This Messiah is Mutuol, strong, intelligent, beautiful; God's "unborn" son. Creation of Mutuol was diligent, cautious, and perfection; in God's eyes. When presented with the responsibility of returning to humanity to reassure them of their faith, Mutuol refused. He would not be burdened with humanity's disgusting incompetnace.

"Faith is not seeing, it is believing; whether or not you have seen..."

Words written and spoken by Mutuol. Furious at his son's defiance, God cast his prized creation into the forgotten of the Heavens; the choir of guardian angels. Here, Mutuol was able to peer upon this humanity God spoke highly of. His disgust for God's passion in humanity fueled a simmering anger. Anger that could only flow from his quill, and his ever growing dark soul. How could God even anticipate Mutuol's descendance in saving these filthy creatures? Creatures who need to see the Messiah in order to restore their "faith". Why was Mutuol created to craddle such hypocrisy?

The rise and fall of the war of Heaven and Hell answered Mutuol's question of where he belonged. During battle, Mutuol faced the most beautiful of all angels; Lucifer, the first angel. It was with this first acquaintence Mutuol truely felt home. Lucifer's wisedom, beauty, and honesty piqued Mutuol's longing for true meaning. The fall of both Heaven and Hell shattered the balance of good and evil, scattering angels and demons alike into the winds of the Earth realm. Centuries past, the remains of angels and demons roam the Earth; seeking the one thing that could restore and allow entrance into Heaven-the key.

Mutuol roams the Earth present day, seeking the Prince of Darkness to pledge his allegiance in the final destruction of the crippled God and weak Heaven. Along his journey, Mutuol has aqcuirred "followers"; ironically, humans that support their dark beliefs.

The reason Muriel hates the Fallen so much is because of her position, as the one who is supposed to look after human's emotions, she can feel the terror in their hearts at the very mention of these so called 'monsters' that have terrorized human's throughout eternity. She often wishes that could be one of the stronger Angel's, like Gabriel. She looks up to him and wishes to fight with him in everything he does. Though, the Angel does not wish for others to get hurt doing things that he must sort out himself.

Muriel may not be the strongest of fighters but she can hold her own and she is determined to help in the pure cause of her King.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Appearance: Since Tabris spends a good amount of his time working with mankind, He granted Tabris a "human disguise."

Preferred Weapon: Heaven's Cloud- A massive sword with a golden blade, capable of bringing light or darkness to the skies.

Powers:

Divine Intervention- Allows the person in question to see the consequences of his actions, and suggests an alternative. (Works for both good and evil.)

"Only In Your Dreams"-Gives the targeted person their deepest desire in their dreams, and leaves a subliminal message about obtaining it. (Mainly used for converting Good to Evil)

Background: On the surface, Tabris appears to be the typical "good" angel. In reality though, he is more neutral that anything. He is in regular contact between both the Holy and Fallen Angels, he acts as a go-between to stave off massive conflicts, and also works as an information dealer for both sides. Seeing as how he is the Angel of Free Will, he has his own agenda and leaves spiritual conquest to the Warrior Angels.

However, during the First Conflict, he fought right along side Michael and Gabriel. He used the mighty blade given to him to bring light to the darkened battlefield and eradicate those who dared opposed Him. During the conflict, he came to realize something. Even though the Fallen Angels were evil and going against God, they were still Angels. He had this "enlightening" only after he saw who was leading the Fallen Angels, an Angel who he had feeling for (not that she ever knew), Lucifer. Instead of becoming a Fallen Angel, Tabris merely resigned from the battlefield and allowed himself to be sucked into the vortex to Earth.

Now, he resides in an old area of Shinjuku working as a "fortune teller." He's given a daily list of people and to which side they belong and should belong to. He uses his powers to guide those humans towards the path chosen for them by Heaven or Hell. He has long since forgotten about his crush on Lucifer and has been trying to get together with someone else. (Hopefully, Lucifer won't use that against him...)And his once mighty Angelic weapon has been reduced to paper-weight and flashlight duty.

A P90 SubMachine Gun. When fully loaded it sports a 50 round magazine. What makes this weapon unique is the fact that it is loaded with magnesium filled hallow-point bullets.

Background: Z' has been working underground as a gun-for-hire for many years and, quite frankly, he is good at what he does. He does his dealings with Mafia leaders, gangs, Yakuza, police, and more. Z' has no sense of "un-fairness" and will kill you while you're sleeping, going to the restroom, or even having sex. He'll hit you when your down and if given the chance will shoot you from behind, execution style. He is ruthless, snide, rude, and has absolutely no manners whatsoever. The fact of all that above was by the way he was raised. His family near encouraged him to drink at a young age. (He is clean, says it messes with his aiming ability), and get into trouble. They didn't care about his suspensions and expulsions at school and never payed damage costs when he vandalized something. Growing up he witnessed his father beat his mother on several occasions and stood by as he did so, helpless to do anything. Though, when he grew up he beat his father down which eventually led to the family seperating, his mother blaming Z' for all their problems when he thought he was helping her.
To this day he believes what he mother had said to him and never speaks of his family, and even more ironically he has killed his own brother.

Not long ago, Z' was fleeing from a gun fight that started raging out of control with the police and the local thugs that he started. He was payed by a higher-up to kill a thug leader, and restore balance to that community, no questions asked. Z' successfully killed the leader and was escaping the scene when more thugs found out about his act and began shooting at him, he in turn shot back and started his one-man army routine with taking down everyone he saw who was shooting at him, and some that were not. When local police entered the fray and tried to stop the fight Z' killed a police officer which then turned the force against him. It wasn't long before the thugs began shooting at the police also and Z' decided that it was too hot to stick around and fought himself an escape route, in his hasty retreat he was wounded several times and knew that he might die. As Z' rounded a corner, a mysterious man pulled him into an alleyway and spoke quickly about being able to get him out of his current situation. Z' quickly accepted and the man quickly got themselves out of harms way. The man was in fact Mutuol, an Angel. Dark Angel. Since Mutuol helped Z' out of that hairy situation he has eternally thanked him and even vowed an alleigence with the Angel. That was 2 years ago.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Personallity: Sweet and shy, but super paranoid. Mutters to herself and carries protective Talismans and garlic cloves/horse shoes/four leaf clovers wherever she goes. Thinks she sees demons everywhere, when she if in fact seeing Fallen Angels. Has wittnessed countless miracles, when in fact she's just seeing Angels do thier duties... Noone believes her when she tells them what she sees. She once even saw Lucifer herself.

Preffered Weapon: Loves Talismans and Tarot cards.

Background: Grew up with her dad in the outskirts of Tokyo (Yeah, yeah, Tokyo is way too over-used, but whatever.) her mom died when she was 12. She was killed by what Kotaku beleived to be a demon, and her dad mysteriously dissapeared when she was 14. He was the only one that believed she could see these things. Though she is super nice, she wants more than anything to seek revenge on the one that killed her mother.

She graduated high school at 13, right before her dad went missing, and now teaches herself at local libraries and schools, since she doesn't have enough money to attend school. But even though her education means alot to her, what means even more is finding her dad and getting back at her parent's murderer.

Age: Appears to be in his late twenties

Appearance: Very tall, taller than any human, short black hair, dark eyes, pale skin, wears a red cloak which completely covers his body, has huge red feathery wings which are also hidden under his cloak.

Preferred Weapon: The Gatekeeper-a longsword which looks completely normal when sheathed, but when drawn, becomes wreathed in mystical fire.

Background: Uriel once guarded the gates of Eden, a job in which he took a great pride. He was a fearsome warrior, and in all his millenia as a Guardian, not a single soul got into the garden. He was one of the most feared warriors in the Heaven-Hell war, second only to Gabriel himself, and due to this, he has never been able to get very close to any other angel.
His time on Earth in a mountainous region of Japan moved him even further away from his fellow angels, something which eventually drove him to side with Lucifer. He realised that he could be much more powerful and respected fighting with the Fallen, and now longs for nothing less than the complete destruction of all his former angelic comrades.

Appearance:
Takes the form of a 15 year old human boy. He has long white hair coming below his shoulder blades and eyes. His eyes are of a bright aqua blue...wears typical modern day clothing. But can still call upon his 4 massive angelic wings from his back.

Personality:
Despite looking his age...he is very wise and powerful.... Even that of God himself...both of good and evil. A natural leader...he is headstrong and confident. He has a very calm and soothing voice...with a gentle touch and personality who is sensitive and emotional to his surroundings. However at times he becomes very vengeful; full of rage in his aggrivation towards foolish humans, angels, and fallen angels alike. But he still tries to surpress his powers in a fear that he will loss control to either side.

Preferred weapon: Ultima.......The blade is of a clear aqua blue just like Alexanders eyes... Moreoever an extention of himself and his power. About 44 inches long...its a fairly thick blade with one side completely straight from the grip while the other side gradually declines to the point with a slight curve. The swords looks like its alive...with a certain mist and movement within...

Powers:
Transformation 1- From his human form...he turns into an adult expanding out his wings making him shirtless, with no shoes with white pants with a rapid increase in power. A ''holy'' aura surrounds his body...having the image of a supreme being with authority and wisdom. His hair stayes the same length with a very gentle complextion on his face. Only in this form can he use his sword.

Transformation 2- His opposite...still in the form of a adult man...his hair turns to a dark black growing to his calves. Nothing else changes except now his body complextion and wings look tanted with ''blackness.'' Even his sword turns a metallic black. His becomes extremely powerful...however at times uncontrolable. His lust for the thrill of battle and pleasures surface.

Holy- Six white orbs form around his body...enabling him to use them to his will. Filled with ''pure'' energy he is able to create energy blasts and barriers.

Omega- The attack that destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gamora(spelled wrong I know). In either form...he spends his wings out; and at first it seems like the feathers are beginning to wither and die falling off his body. However they are brought up in back of Alexander giving him an arsenal of energy missles. Sending them out and destructing against anything that it touches. Those of good and evil as well.
* Due to his powers as a living spirit...he is able to influence greatly those of faith to God, as well as those in league with Lucifer. However cannot mess with free will nor those of firm, strong angels*

Background:
He is the third of the trinity. Here since time was time. Sent out into the world to cleanse and purify hearts in the name of God...his essense is in every single living creature. However at the fall of the angels...and even here on earth...no one payed much attention to him. As if he was that of a ghost. No one truly recognized him in comparrison to Christ and God, so he decided to live among humans set apart from heaven in his wrath and jealousy. Not being credited with what was due to him.
During his time on earth...he was like that of a pure and innocent child. Thus he took in every desire and pleasure that was set before his eyes. Over centuries he became tained...his spirit not only harbored good...but evil as well. As he is still serving God in miracles and people being saved...set apart from Lucifer as a whole...he serves him as well in destruction throughout the world in peoples lives.
In the end he choses neutrality most of the time...but is constantly involved with the supernatural and spiritual battle all around the world. So he choses to be that of a child...in an attempts to hid his identity.
Now with the search of the ''Key'' uprising in the human world...he has taken a little bit more of an active role in the situation. Not searching...but aiding those he feels deemed worthy of him. Cause he would be a valued ally to either side.

At this stage the role of "The Key" has been taken by Neuvoxetere. I still need someone to play the role of Gabriel. Again PM me if you want it.

As seems to be the case with people's signups it will now be that those who are an angel or fallen angel can have special powers. SO as to not over do this I will limit the amount of powers to three.

Lucifer's powers: Meggido - summons a giant flame to consume her enemy and anyone in a ten metre radius.
Anthracise - Only works on humans, but summons a flame that consumes the victim from the inside out leaving only a dusty husk.
Fires of Hell - Creates a large wall of fire that ranges in distance between 100m and 1Km distance. Those caught in the flame desintigrate and their souls are sent to the dark reaches of Hell.

Edit: Once I get someone who wants to play the role of Gabriel I will be able to start this RPG.

She had lived a complete life of near perfection, not having to worry about anything.

Up until a few years ago, Heaven was a normal child, just like any other. She had no one chasing after her, destroying everyone she cared for, murdering everyone she loved. She did not have images of death and torture running through her mind, waking her up in a cold sweat. Up until a few years ago, Heaven was not tracked down like an animal in the wild, hunted for its luxuriousness. She was not chosen to carry a burden.

And now, evil echoed throughout her mind. There was no way to escape them. They followed her wherever she went, they knew who she was, they wanted what she had, and they would stop at nothing to get it. They would sacrifice her to gain what they were meant to receive, they cared nothing for her.

Screams and cries were heard as she slept, never letting her sleep, never allowing her to live in peace. Insanity began to set in, but Heaven never let it consume her. The screams and cries only left when those who were after her killed that cry. She never had to feel what others felt, she never had to become an empath who carried out their destruction.

All this would never stop until "they" found her. This would never stop until this burden, this curse, would leave her side and leave her to be alone. But, what if this isn't a burden? Only a power meant to be controlled and a task meant to be accomplished? Then what?[/size][/color]

Preferred weapon: Judgement- a broad sword often fought with two hands. Gabriel's strength allows this sword to be used one handed but only for a short amount of time. Looks like obsidian with a silvery metal tyoe hilt.

Powers:

Mimic- Used originally for humans when Gabriel watched over them, now uses it to disquise himself temporarily more so becoming any non human object,even non aninimate bjects. Giving Gab an element of surprise for ambushing .

Deception- Used for humans and weak fallen angels. Sort of a mind game used to play that one's fears and esentially works him into becoming crazy or defeat. For humans the spell can be reversed. On fallen angels he prefers to watch them endure more of this 'torture.'

"A Step closer to Heaven"- Can only be used during battle when Gabriel is close to being drained. The obsidian metal in the sword opens a portal like device protecting Gabriel for a short amount of time.Showing Gabriel the things he longs for the most and regenerating his powers and spirit.

Background: Gabriel admired God. The way he made things, the power he had to command the smallest simplest form to obey His command and create such beauty never before seen. This power that God had was greatly admired by God that Gabriel would over see the Master's work for as long as he could. Often standing close by not to miss a part of the show.
For as long as remembered, Gabriel served God faithfully and swore to protect and serve him for as long as possible. Gabriel's heart pure was very much admired amoungst the angels, never used the popularity. Gabriel only shyed off some comment, telling the others to just believe in themselves and they could also become as great.
Even when man came along, Gabriel only reveled in the fact that it was a new creation, very complex and much like angels. He was delighted to view these creatures, much like the form of God, but with no power. The only possessed the knowledge of faith. A faith that could strenghten them. Or if rejected destroy them.
Much like the loss of faith had destoyed Lucifer. At times Gabriel felt sorry for the former servant. Looking down on Lucifer as she was thrown from Heaven. Tears fell, but the pity was soon replaced by hatred. For Lucifer now turned on her former master, and as such became an enemy to Gabriel. From them on they fought. Gabriel to protect God's creations and Heaven, and Lucifer to take it all.
In a battle Gabriel, Lucifer and others were spread upon the Earth, seperated from the thing they really wanted. Heaven. But Gabriel's focus remained at hand. Seeking fallen angels, Gabriel hopes to one day stop Lucifer and return to Heaven, but now only one thing can make this come true. Appearance: Marcus is of average hight, 6.2". He is well muscled, with a broad chest and strong legs. His face is soft and comforting, with soft blue eyes, and fair golden hair hanging by his shoulders. His skin is very white, but not extremly pale. He has a golden beard-stubble, which gives his face a very appealing and handsom appearance. His face is very soft, with a round chin, rounded nose, and short forhead. His wings are long, whiter then snow, and protrude from two holes in the back of his armour. He wares a stirling silver chest-plate, with a golden rune engraved in it. He wares a flowing white robe under the armour, trimmed with velvet and golden thread.

Preferred Weapon: A flachion (A one-edged sword, with an edge as broad as an axe) named St.Gunifort, a blade of angelic steal, and a hilt of magical gold. Its massive edge is desinged for slashing, not stabbing, and can make short work of armor, a shield, or even a head. When it comes to causing direct damage, few weapons can best the flachion. However, it is a cumbersom sword, and often leaves Marcus unable to defend himself after a parry.

Backround: Marcus has always held Gabriel as a hero, ever since he was a little kid. He practiced every chance he had to become as good as, if not better then, Gabriel. When he was eligable, Marcus became a soldier, and fought his way up the ranks. Soon, he became a very reveared warrior, and got his chance to meet Gabriel. He found that Gabriel was everything he had imagined, a strong leader, a frightning warrior, and an insperation. He befriended Gabriel, and, when Lucifer led the Fallen Angles from Heaven, Marcus joined the side of Gabriel without a second thought.

Strong people can overcome the disease, but it can leave them drained of energy. Once one has been infected, they become immune to Black Death..

-[B]Devil Eyes:[/B] Induces a convincing illusion on anyone that comes into eye contact with him. It affects all of the target's senses. It can only be used on one person at a time.

-[B]Spawn:[/B] Damien can create copies of himself. Though they are only as strong as an average human, they can serve many purposes, such as carrying the Black Death disease. Damien can only create 5 copies every 24 hours. The copies look almost the same as Damien, only they have pitch black eyes. They have a life span of one week.

Damien was created by Lucifer to aid in her search for "The Key". Though he was raised to follow the fallen angels in their goal to take control of Heaven, he had trouble understanding why they hated humans. Lucifer convinced him that it was his purpose in life to eliminate humans and take Heaven and that he didn't have to understand it. After seeing all of the things man had done, such as slavery and the holocaust, he began to hate humans as well.

He first used his Black Death skill in medieval times by infecting rats with it. About one-third of Europe was wiped out. Lucifer was impressed and offered to allow him to command his own regime. He turned down the offer because he doesn't consider himself a leader.

Though he follows Lucifer loyally, he constantly tries her patience by doing such as wearing a necklace with a cross on it, which he does frequently. He typically keeps his feelings to himself.
