Endymion
It was the average evening, talking to Dark Serena until my body's tiredness told me to drag myself to bed. We talked about about art and stuff and I ventured on the 3rd crusade into my attic in an effort to locate my lost art book. The crusade ended in failure. So I sketched a self image of myself and Serena thought it humorous, which was my intent. Then came 3:30 am. My body deprived of energy and caffeine, yet the need to stay up and talk to Serena kept my energy-less husk moving. I drew her a quick picture...my beautiful 3:30 am picture...
PiroMunkie
Heh ...Not bad for 3:30 AM. If you want things to be really interesting, though, stay up for three days straight, and then start drawing. I got quite the collage of random gibberish last time I did that ... I should probably stop using myself as the guinea pig for my own experiments. >.> I like the scribbly sort of coloring/shading. It is neat ... and sort of fitting to the time it was drawn, lol. sakurasuka
That's not bad. Not bad at all. Awesome really, considering the time it was drawn. Well, really, that's about when I draw too, considering I homeschool and my parents are really not into my drawing/playing guitar/video games/listening to music on the weekdays for the most part, except that hour from 9-10pm when I can do whatever I want... Total freedom (Kinda...) So I compensate by staying up 'till 4 in the moring and sleeping in... But really, that is really good. I agree with PiroMunkie, the shading is unique and really fits the circumstances ^^ Really, keep up the good work!
Queen Asuka
I like the picture. It's simple and nice. The only thing that I would have to say about it is that his arms seem too short, but I don't know if that's just me or what. I tend to draw Sailor Moon-esqe type LONG legs and arms with LONG flowing hair. Not saying my stuff LOOKS like Sailor Moon, mind you, but the body proportions are about the same. Good job, though. I would like to see more when you ever put some up.
Endymion
They proportions might be a little off...I didn't rough draft with a skeleton or anything, I just freehanded it in pen. I think I was too lazy to get up to find a pencil. If you want I can post some of my 90% asleep scribbled pics from during my classes...Drawing keeps me slightly awake. If I bother taking notes, you'll see where I fall asleep and see the sentence unfinished and the last letter i wrote with a line down the page...I can post some better work when I find my artbook. Finding it is like looking for the Holy Grail. I need my Deedlit sketches...actually did them in pencil and they're the only nice things(in my eyes) i've drawn, lol.
KarmaOfChaos
I like his body, and the sketchy, slighty-overproportioned hands, but something about his face doesn't seem right. It's a little too 2-D, it needs more filling out, maybe give his eyes a direction to look in or something, add some shading to his hair. Then again, 3 AM sketches aren't supposed to be perfect, right? Lol. -Karma
