I expect only dedicated and mature players, who can deal with sex, homosexuality, and strong emotional depth. If you don't think you can deal with that, or make good-length, intelligent posts, don't even read the sign-ups.

Love is a crule, destroying emotion at times. Other times it can be uplifting any joyful. Emotions are traded equaly and at the utmost prices. Human emotions are so simple, they cannot be recreated into such simplicity. Which, rather ironicly, makes human emotion rather complex. Some hearts can be broken, some men fall quick, some lives desroyed, some minds betrayed. Every emotion has a deep opposite and nothing can exist without an opposite. Thus to be happy, sadness must come eventually....and to love, hate must occur. To heal, pain must be delt, and to be in pain, healing will come. This logic is the basis of human sanity. Those with emotions unequivilant to this theory and unlogical are considered insane. Many hearts are twisted and confused, many people "insane" and not aware.
The setting is a large collage campus, the New york Instutute of The Arts. It's a good example of love at it's worst, and emotions crumbling under pressure and pain.

Name: Jamie Malcolm
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Apearance: Blonde, dyed, thick hair, always spiked, and easy to distingues that it's dyed, considering his natural color is black. 6'2'' and 204 lbs. muscular and well toned. Usually in black atire. http://www.korn.it/images/david3.jpg
Personality: Stuborn and maybe a little crazy, Jamie can't seem to give up on anything. He is strong and smart, though his sensitivity has led him down manydark path's and his outlook on life is now bleak and rather hopeless.
Backround: Jamie took up playing drums at age 6, taught by his father, a rock star at the time. Jamie learned as well as he could under his fathers supervision and took on his fathers stubornness and pride when he passed away when Jamie was 16. Jamie went through 3 years of greif for his father, but never fell into despair. His veiw was always bright and optemistic. At 19 years old, Jamie brought a girl home to have diner with him and his mother. He had been dating her for 2 months, and he knew here well. She wasn't the cheeriest person in the world, but Jamie didn't see it coming when she pulled a gun out of her back pocket and shot herself in the head during dinner. His mother kept him in isolation after that, not alowing him to move out. He lived iwth her untill she too, killed herself, though suspectatly accidentaly, with an overdose on sleeping pills. Jamie lived in his mothers house untill he went to collage at age 24 to an Arts school, to study music and sold the house, and almost everything in it, exccept for a few of his and his mothre's belongings. He held a few relationships with girls after that, but couldn't seem to pull them togeather. He was starting to loose hope, though his grades never slipped. Jamie began to loose interest in girls, and datng and seemed to throw his mind over with school and his music.

He was going to the New York Institute oif the Arts to major in the arts and train for his career in graphic design. Before he came to New York however, he'd hated how stupid his high school was and how ditracting it could be. His parents had been divorced and he was suffering from heir constant custody battles so when he turned 18 he left his home for New York to get real education. He was very reluctant about moving however becuase he had to leave his long time girlfriend. He hoped for a bright new future in New York.

Name: Jake Steel
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Apearance: Shoulder length hair dyed gray. Deep tan, like from living on an island. Brilliant violet eyes, and an athletic build, slim and tall. Around 6'3", he weighs 215lbs, but looks lighter because of his build. He always wears shorts and t-shirts, adding to the islander appearance. His outfit is usually red shorts with some form of hawaiian print shirt, and rarely swerves from this.
Personality: Incredibly social with everyone, even strangers. He makes friends easily, but he always hangs out with complete opposites of his personality, like dark people, nerds, loners, and the like. His boyant attitude and happy demeanor tends to leave an imprint on people emotionally. He gets away with many things, merely because of his attitude. What may be irritating if done by someone else seems fun when he does it. He has a serious side, but rarely shows it, prefering humor to any thing else.
Backround: Jake has never ever had a serious relationship, and even his flings were ended because he found the girl was far too serious for his ever changing moods and fancies. He took up kickboxing at the age of five and has won several medals and trophies from competitions. He left his parents after his talent for artwork gained him access to the Institute. A skilled painter, he tends to use abstract or paintings of kickboxers, but his skill shines through. Though he appears to be a slacker, he is actually very dedicated to his work, and is one of the top in the institute. However, his wild nature and lust for kickboxing has gotten him into trouble more then once.

My name has been taken *sobs* The word homosexuality drew me right in, but I see that only boys have signed up so far...guess I should be a girl.

Name: Elizabeth 'Beth' Nesbitt
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: Beth stands at a small 5'5'' and has always been told that she has a very different look about her. Not the usual attractiveness that most girls wish to have, in fact, she is quite the opposite. With pale, smooth skin and short red hair, Beth most certainly sticks out from the crowd. Her eyes are a grey/green colour; most people would describe them as cold. She has long eyelashes and always holds her eyes half closed, giving her a very smug look most of the time. She doesn't smile much, but when she does her features are lifted and people say that she looks like a different person.
On the clothes side of things, Beth likes to wear jeans and jumpers. She has one dress that she has worn once in her life, she hates having to dress up and would rather look smart but comfortable. All her clothes are in good taste and she even designs some of her own. Her whole wardrobe is fitted around her skin and hair colour, comprising mostly of black, grey and purple.

Personality: Beth is the quiet type who doesn't like to draw unwanted attention to herself. She keeps to herself in lessons and gets on with the work without much talking. But she isn't shy, not at all; she just prefers her own company. In fact there isn't one person on campus that Beth knows about who doesn't like her. She is a very funny person and people usually enjoy her company, add to that the fact that she's always willing to buy a few drinks.
Beth gets on well with the teachers and makes a good impression on people for the first time; she is polite and has a very 'posh' British accent, which has turned a few heads in the past.

Background: Beth was raised in Liverpool, England and experienced some of the roughest and hardest situations that a young child can be in. When she started school she was immediately targeted for bullying because of her then second name, Payne. Even though the idea of name-calling wore off by the time Beth was 13, when she was at the tender age of 5, it seemed so serious. Children would pester her during school and even while she was walking home, the teachers did nothing about it, either. In fact, most of the time they would only hear the childish comments and found it funny. What they didn't see was the beatings that young Beth got when no one was there to protect her.

The girl went through school without any true friends to speak of. At the age of ten she met a girl called Natalie and the two were inseparable, until Natalie moved to America a year later that is. Beth was distraught and refused to go to school, she was then home taught for a number of months until she joined high school.

At the age of 14, Beth cut off all of her previously long, blond hair and dyed it red, attracting more stares and harsh comments form the people in her school. Luckily for her, she was good at sports and that was the key thing when in a sports oriented school.

When Beth left High School, she decided that instead of going to University in England, she would move to America and study the arts there, having heard great things about a certain college in New York. After managing to raise enough money, and with the support of her family, Beth took a plane to New York and started all over again, at the young age of 20.

She now lives on Campus and has few friends, though all of them are very close. She isn't keen on the idea of falling in love for fear of her grades, as she is a very dedicated student, too much so, some would say. She enjoys going out at night and is usually the first and last to pay for a round of drinks. When she has the time, Beth works at a cafe close to the College to make sure that she is never short of money despite the fact that her parents send her a rather hefty weekly allowance.

Whoo, edit! Hope that was okay ^_~

Ok, even though there's already plenty of boys, you never know what this guy will try and do with 'em. Hi Runy!

Name: Alistair 'Andy' Dernend
Age: 19 (Ha, youngest!)
Sex: male
Apearance: http://www.we-love-anime.com/gallery/gal/Evangelion/Evangelion01073.jpg
Alistair (Andy) stands at about 6'1'' and is rather light, weighing 162lbs. Oddly enough, his grayish hair and red-tinted eyes are completely natural, giving him an ethereal look. His skin is very light, on the verge of pale, and his body movements very subtle. Andy almost always wears his white, button up shirt, often with something orange or blue underneath. He also wears semi-loose black pants and generic looking white shoes. His expression is often the same: not so much a smile, but an innocent curve of his lips and a neutral, analyzing look in his eyes.
Personality: Andy's sexuality, quite simply, is a mystery. He's shown equal attention to boys and girl, but never enough to be called flirting. He interacts with other usually only when he has a reason to, but is very complient. Nothing daunts him, or phases him at all. No matter what you do or call him, his expression stays the same. Some would call him eerie, others, interesting. He does have a good deal of knowledge, though it is seldom heard.
Backround: Alistair had an odd childhood. When he was 3, his parents split up, but never truly divorced. He was given over to his grandmother, whos husband had died two years earlier. When she had a siezure (sp?), he was passed on to his aunt and uncle, who had a teenage boy. When he, Alistair's cousin, was discovered to be using a number of illegal drugs, Alistair was again passed over to another uncle. By now, he was 7. Things worked out until this uncle started drinking and became a danger to the young Alistair, now 9. Disaster and revalations seemed to follow the boy to whichever household he belonged. Eventually, he was living with his 21 year old cousin, Kaitlen. She was just about the last family he had before no one wanted him or could support him anymore. Life went smoothly living with Kaitlen from 14 to 16, until Kaitlen had a fiance. Evan, as he was called, had an odd aversion to Alistair. Eventually it got to the point when Evan got violent with the younger boy. Kaitlen was angered, but did not want to give up Evan. So it was decided Alistair would go to another home. This time, he ended up in a foster home with people he wasn't even related to, much less knew. Things at last went smoothly until he turned 19 and left for an Arts college in New York. Having been to so many different places, Alistair had a mixed education, if not entirely complete. Nevertheless, he was accepted into New York Institute of the Arts. Those he lived with in the foster home never truly did figure out his gender.

Name: Natalie Chal
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Appearance: A picture of Natalie Chal, wearing her mother's necklace.
In height, Natalie doesn't really stand out of the crowd. She's not too tall, but not too short either. She's half English, but she gets most of her features from her father, like her tan skin and brown eyes. She has tried to dye her hair once before to make it lighter, like her mother's, but it didn't turn out very well at all. Natalie likes to wear her hair up most of the time, even though her father says that she reminds him of her mother when she has it down. But Natalie's given up on trying to look like her mother, and is thinking of just getting it cut short someday. When people talk to Natalie, they usually look behind them, because she sometimes has such a dreamy look to her face, that they think she's staring at something. Natalie likes to wear bright colors, to contrast her skin tone. You'll usually see her wearing dark blue jeans, a light blue tanktop, and a white or darker blue jacket or sweater.
Personality:After Natalie left England, she changed. She was always the follower when she would play with the other kids. Especially with her friend, Beth, since she looked up to her so much. But being in America, and being around a different culture, made her start to be a little more bold. After all, no one was just going to hold her hand and explain to her everything about her new home. (Well, no one her age that is. Her dad told her about America many times, but she didn't want to hear it since she was so homesick.) Since then, Natalie is a bit more confident and aggressive, except around guys. (Who tend to like her English accent.)
Backround: Born in Liverpool, to an English mother and a wealthy American father, Natalie never really lived a hard life. She went to the best schools, and wore the best clothes, thanks to her father's business in England and in America. But unlike most spoiled kids, Natalie became bored of all of the toys she owned, since she didn't have any real friends to play with her. Then, she met Beth. Her parents were at first unsure of Natalie's new friend, but the two children both seemed so happy together, that they didn't want to interfere. Then, a year later, Natalie's mother, Evangeline Chal, passed away around the same time that her husband's business in England went under. Not having much left in England, Natalie's father decided that they would move back to New York. Natalie didn't want to leave, of course. But her father promised that they would come back and visit. This cheered her up, but her father has not kept his promise so far. Natalie has never had much luck with boys, and she always seems to choose the ones that end up being creepy, or just plain jerks. Natalie has tried to stop thinking about boys and boyfriends and focus on her violin and paintings. Which wasn't hard, since she went to an all girl school in New York. Now, after being out of school and studying at home for a little while, she's going to the Institute of the Arts, and has to decide if she even wants to try and start thinking about boys all over again.
