GuyYouMetOnline
A few reminders before we start: 1: Remember, Blanko and I are doing this RPG togeather. Whatever either of us says goes. 2: We're in an unexplored area, and there are new Pokemon to be caught. You can make up new Pokemon, but no new Pokemon types. You must stick to the current 17 types. Also, no evolved forms of stage 2 Pokemon (Pokemon who have already evolved twice, such as Charizard, Ampharos(sp?), and Exploud) 3: Absolutly no legendary Pokemon. You can't have them already, and you can't catch them. No making up Pokemon that would qualify and catching them, either. If you really want to have a legendary Pokemon, you must PM either me or Blanko for permission, and unless you have a really good reason, expect a 'no'. Now that that's out of the way, let's get the RPG started. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Rorohiko wasn't really paying attention as he walked toward the facility that had been constructed over the entrance to the Network, and with a surprisingly quick pace considering the size of the pack he wore on his back. The facility was a security station, making sure that only people who were supposed to enter the Network were able to. If he had been paying attention, he would have been impressed. Nobody was going to penetrate that security force. "Halt," a guard demanded as Rorohiko approached the entrance to the security facility. The man was quite the intimidating figure, and there was a Machamp to his right. A Tyranitar was to his left. Two other guards were nearby, ready to assist if necessary, and the slightest deviation from instructions would cause them to take action. Rorohiko knew this, and he stopped. "State your name and the reason for your presence here," the guard instructed. "My name is Rorohiko Kaloros, and I am a member of the Expedition. I was instructed to report here at 2:00 p.m., which I am." "You're a few minutes early," the guard said as he examined a list. "I like to try and arrive early. That way, if I'm held up I can still make it on time." The guard ignored Rorohiko's responce. A few seconds later, he looked up from the list. "You are cleared to enter." He stepped to the side, allowing Rorohiko to pass through the door. He found himself in a circular room with a three men and a woman in it. There were no Pokemon in the room, but Rorohiko guessed that the three men had concealed firearms. The woman wasn't wearing anything she could use to conceal a gun. On a table beside her was a strange-looking device with six round slots that were the perfect size for Pokeballs. "Remove your pack and place it on the floor, then step away from it," the woman instructed. Rorohiko did so, and one of the three men stepped forward. He opened the pack and examined its contents. There was a laptop computer in a case which also contained an extra battery for the laptop, as well as almost any kind of cable or adapter imaginable. There was nothing else inside, leaving a lot of space. "Please explain your reason for bringing this," the woman said. "I never know when I might need that, so I keep it with me," Rorohiko answered. "I'm assuming that food and water will be provided, so I didn't bring any of my own. Also, it makes more sense for me to use my own pack than one you provide, especially when I already have something of my own to carry with me." The man retuned Rorohiko's pack to him. "Place your Pokeballs in the slots," the woman instructed, indicating the odd-looking machine. Rorohiko placed his one Pokeball in the machine, then stepped back. After a few seconds, the machine beeped and the woman examined a display on it. "The Pokeball contains an Absol, and checks out as normal." She them asked to see Rorohiko's belt to confirm that no other Pokeballs were on it. The woman was going to insctuct Rorohiko to empty his pockets, but he was one step ahead or her, and his pockets were already emptied, and turned out to proove that they were empty. All he had was a pocket-sized notebook, a pen, and a Pokedex. The woman opened the Pokedex, which confirmed Rorohiko's identity. The notebook, Rorohiko explained, was for times when he couldn't use his laptop for whatever reason and needed to record information. "You can never be too prepared," he said. After clearing that security checkpoint, Rorohiko was directed to what had the general appearance of a boardroom, and told to wait for the . He passed through two metal detectors, and also had his pack, pockets, and Pokemon checked again. When he made it to the room, he took a seat. While he was waiting for the other members of the Expidition, he took out his laptop. Might as well get something done while I wait, he thought. ------------------------------------------------------------ OOC: In your first post, please have your character arrive at the facility, and make it to the room where Rorohiko is. You don't have to post the details of your character getting through security (you can if you want to, of course), but try and at least mention it.
Frankie
A girl walked slowly towards some men and thier pokemon. She looked from the one pokemon to the other. Within a few minutes the guard let her through. She didnt pay much attention to the guards or the pokemon near the guards. She was wearing red jeans, red shoes, a tight black T-Shirt and a black bandanna with red flames on it. Her hair was black and only shoulder lengeth. But the strangest thing about this girl was her eyes... They were bright Red. She walked inside and stopped. The lady at the table instructed her to turn out her pockets and such for inspection. She did so. Only two things came from her pockets. One was a pure black pokedex with a small flame mark on the cover. The other itme was a small metal lighter. "Why exactly... Did you bright this?" The lady asks looking at the shiney metal lighter. "It goes where I go... I never leave it behind... Its my lighter and its empty..." The guard tried to light it and indeed it was empty. Not a single hit of fire came from it. "Then... Why do you keep it." "Its special..." "Right." The lady pointed at the wierd machine. "Please place all pokeballs here." The girl took four pokeballs off her belt. Each pokeball looked the same and they were not like any other pokeball known on the market. "Excuse me... What exactly are those balls?" The lady asks. She rolled her eyes, "They are my own custom build pokeballs. They are the same as a normal pokeball but they look cooler." She placed all four in the spots and sighed. She grabbed the chain around her neck and took the black pokeball off it. She put it in the fifth spot. "Just so you know miss... You arent going to get info on that pokemon there." The lady looked at each and nodded. "A Cyndaquil, A Ponyta, A Growlithe, A Gyarados, and a... Unknown pokemon hmm. We will need to see this pokemon then." The girl smiled and took the pokeball. She tapped it twice with her index finger and then released the pokemon. Out came a small little pokemon that none of them had seen before. It stood on its back legs which had two toes. Its hands were shovel like. It opend its mouth in a yawn to reaveal odd teeth perfect for chewing up rocks. It was quite normaly colored... A bit of purple with mostly brown. Its tail was familiar to the lady though. "Interesting how its tail looks like mews. What is that pokemon called?" "Its a Digadon... There was an expedition to this one place a long time ago but nothing much came of it... I went there a long while back and caught this little guy. So he is not in your regular database." "Very well... Kira Lee... Please take your pokemon and go to the next room." Kira picked up her pokeballs and smiled at her Digadon... Apparently he did a good job at disguising his true form from them and they seemed to buy it well enough. Kira returned him and tapped the pokeball onces. Then she walked to this one room. Inside was a teenage male with a laptop. Kira glanced at him with an emotionless face. "Hmph" She sat down in a seat far from his and stared at the black ball in her hand before returning it to the chain around her neck. She nodded as if to be speaking to someone and then she leaned back in her chair and stared at the ceiling.

Sakura
Aria walked up to a man standing in front of the entrance, beside him was a Machamp. "Halt!" he commanded and Aria looked at him warily. "What's your name and business?" he asked. "Aria Kaze, here for the Expedition." she answered in her usual soft voice. The guard's eyes scanned over the list and nodded. "You can go through." Aria brushed past him and walked into the facility. Then she arrived in the inspection room where the three men and the woman were sitting. "Open your backpack and empty your pockets." one of the men said. Aria slipped the straps off her shoulders and unzipped it, then placed it on the table, and put the items in her pockets beside it. The people went through both, she was carrying a laptop, battery, and a food bar in her backpack, and her pokedex, palm computer and keys were in her pockets. They checked her identity in the pokedex, then nodded to her and she closed her backpack and put her things back into her pockets. "Place your pokeballs in the slots." the lady said, indicating to the strange machine beside her. Aria leaned forward and deposited the six pokeballs safely into the slots. The machine beeped. "An Umbreon, Espeon, Mightyena, Pidgeot, Vaporeon, and Jolteon, interesting." she said, then let her take them back. "Alright, you can go through." Aria smoothed out her leather trench coat and walked into the other room where she saw a girl wearing red clothes, a boy just sitting there, and another boy on a laptop. 'So, someone else brought a laptop.' she noted mentally. The pockets of her navy blue cargos swayed from weight as she walked and sat near the boy with the laptop. Aria tucked a few chestnut brown strands behind her ear and took out her palm computer, making little notes about those who were in the room.
Guest Garelock
"Rai rai...chu" That was all the wise pokemon had to utter for this long and expensive trip half way across a large landscape. If someone were to come from Vermillion to this place, well, lets just say it'll be a little painful on their wallet. On top of that, this guy wasn't exactly rich to begin with. It's not like he chose to come here or something, his mom was actually making him go; her and his grandfather for that matter. This was Chezral Gonzales, one of the most skilled trainers in all of Vermillion city. He had to be good, champion pokemon training aspects ran in his family. He was a good trainer in terms of battle strategy and pokemon knowledge but he had a pretty bad attitude towards pokemon ability. It's no wonder why he's related to the famous AJ Gonzales; the kid who defeated Ash Ketchum in less than 40 seconds and the guy who has over 100 wins by now. Him and AJ are a lot of alike but one thing they have in common for sure is that they're hard on their pokemon. For example, Chezral will make his pokemon fight each other until his pokemon could no longer battle and that's meant literally; even if there's blood he wouldn't stop the fight. He wouldn't let them kill each other now, just push each other to become stronger, still though, it's a little cruel. Chezral was invited on the expedition for one reason; extra muscle. If you want someone to help you out if you run into wild pokemon who're super strong, you'd want the son of a former champion and a whole line of champions. On top of that, Chezral is a pokemon guide or someone who knows a lot about pokemon, their strengths, weaknesses, abilities and behavior. Of course, why use this guy when you have professors on the journey? Simply put, professors can know all they want to know about pokemon but it takes someone who knows pokemon inside and out to really know them and predict their actions. "Come on the expedition she says...it'll be fun she says...whatever. Mom doesn't know what she's talking about. Isn't that right Raichu?" Brice asked his old timer companion. Yes, this Raichu was his mother's pokemon and this Raichu is a little old; wisdom makes up for age though. "Chu!" Raichu responded. That's the thing with most trainers, they don't seem to realize that their pokemon CAN'T talk to back to them. So why ask them questions when you know they can't speak back to you? Chez and Raichu made their way to large facility, mostly looking like some government place where they hide UFOs and other worldly things. The trainer made his way to the front gate where he was met by two guards. One of the guards seemed to be a little over weight while the other was in shape. "Halt! State your name and reason for being here!" The chubby guard demanded. "I'm the Dunkin' Donut man...I'm here to make a donut delivery. I mean really, who do you THINK I am? Obviously a trainer, after all, who else wears pokeballs but trainers normally?" Oh yeah, it's obvious that this guy had a nasty attitude. "Look kid! I'm only gettin' paid 9.50 an hour for this! Don't get me started. Just answer my question." "The name's Chezral Gonzales. I was invited here. I have no idea who invited me but someone gave my mom a ring and she told me to pack and head straight over here by plane. Anything else you need to know before I totally ignore you and go into this place?" "You know, I don't like your little attitude but fine. You were expected to show up 30 minutes ago; you're late. Come right on in. Next time, be ON time." "Whatever chubby, lay off the sprinkles on your jelly donuts. You could use the weight loss..." Chez insulted as he walked right past the two security guards and their pokemon. He entered into the facility that seemed to be very much high tech and technologically advanced. He came to a room that was similar to an interrogation room. It was circular in shape and there was a party of 3 men and a lone woman. In front of them was a table that had a strange device on it similar to the healing pods found in some of the more advanced Pokemon centers; those were used for healing. Also, there was a caseified labtop in front of them. "Mr. Gonzales. You're late. You better hope I don't talk to your mother again anytime soon; she'd have some words with you about being on time. Lets see what the prodigy son has backing him. Place your pokeballs in the slots and please, all of them." The woman instructed. "Uh...okay?" Chez seemed confused. How did she know his last name? Had she ran across his mom before? That wasn't a concern too much though. He held up a pokeball and pointed it at his Raichu. "Return!" He commanded as a red stream of light shot out of the ball and sucked the pokemon into it. Chez sat down all 5 of his pokeballs on the slots and backed away as each slot started to glow and shake a little. The light show stopped and the woman checked the laptop screen for the analysis. "Raichu, of course. A Scizor, nice choice. Manectric, that wouldn't be my first chioce for an electric type but they're your pokemon. An Umbreon, very uncharacteristic on a Gonzales. Normally, I'd expect nothing but fire or electric types from your family. A Heracross? Are you sure you're related to Maria? Your family hates bug pokemon with a passion or at least I thought they did. And finally...well, here's something that's more of your trait, an Ursaring. Big, strong, durable, that's more of your type. Well, they all check out, you can take them back." Ok, now that was totally freak to Chez. Maria was his mom's name. How did this woman know his mom?! She knew a little too much about his family and their pokemon types as well. His grandfather only used fire and electric types, his great grandfather only used electric types and his mom only used electric types and an Ursaring. Chez quickly retrieved his pokeballs and gave the woman a strange stare as he awaited his instructions. "The backpack, remove it. Empty your pockets as well." One of the men instructed as Chez dropped his backpack and emptied out his pockets. All he had in his pockets were his Pokenav, a few Pokemon trading cards and a cell phone. In his backpack, there was a sleeping bag, 2 bottles of water and 2 extra pokeballs; he didn't plan to catch many pokemon as he was satisfied with the pokemon he had. "You're fine. Pick up your stuff and head towards the back and into the board room area. Wait there until you receive further instruction." The man instructed. Chezral picked up his backpack and belongings and walked back past the first check point and into a metal detector barrier. He got a little aggravated when he stopped an additional two times for a check and search of his possessions and then, yet another metal detector where he was searched yet again. When he made it to the board room, he let out a sigh of relief. He reached for his pokeball belt and grabbed a pokeball. He held it up and out came his Raichu. "Take a seat." Chez told the electric pokemon. He too took a seat where he spotted another person in the room. "Yo! What you in for? Don't tell me you're a trainer..." GuyYouMetOnline
Rorohiko looked up at the newcomer. "That depends on what you mean by 'Trainer'. I don't collect Gym badges and have no desire to catch any more Pokemon than the one I already have. My main intrest is research into the unique characteristics of a certain Pokemon, Absol. Despite that, I do batle with the one Pokemon I have, which is an Absol, as you might have guessed. he's very powerful. I've had him for six years now. Six yers with just him to train. He and I can probably take your entire team." "Do you even know who I am? My name is Chezreal Gonzales." "I've heard about you," Rorohiko said, "and I don't like you. You don't care about your Pokemon as much as a Trainer should." "Just what do you know about that? You're mainly a researcher. You said it yourself. Pokemon are nothing to people like you, just test subjects." "I dissagree," Rorohiko replied. He released his Absol. "Tell him what you think," he told Absol. "You know very well that humans can't understand Pokemon," Chez said when Absol was done. "Absol said that if you and he met in the wild, he would attack you and not just your Pokemon, and that he would show no mercy. Ask your Raichu if that's accurate." Chex looked at Raichu, who nodded. Chez turned back to Rorohiko. "How did you do that? No trainer has ever been able to understand one of his Pokemon" "Simple," Rorohiko said as he returned Absol to its Pokeball. "First, Absol does not belong to me. We are partners, and he can leave any time he wants to. He remains in his Pokeball most of the time by choice. Until you understand that, you will not understand how I know what Absol is saying. Now, please do not disturb me. I'm trying to get something done while we wait for the other members of the Expedition."
Guest Garelock
Chez was definitely amazed; no one could understand pokemon like this guy could. Though, amazed and impressed are two different words with too different meanings. Yes, this researcher seemed to be very knowledgable about pokemon BUT it's tough to impress Chezral; he's done it all. Rather it be from Gym battles to championship tournaments, he's been there and done that; there wasn't much this guy could educate him on. Though, for the most part, Absol did looked rather formitable; that was true. Although, Absol would have a particularily hard time beating Raichu; that's a champion pokemon for 12 years straight, Absol wouldn't stand a chance. Even before Raichu went to the championships, it had a record of 25 wins against gym leaders; another record that was broken a few years afterwards. But anyways, Raichu didn't agree with Chezral's methods of training either because it felt like pokemon should be treated with the highest degree of respect and not treated with the highest degree of disrespect. Raichu, however, only stayed with Chez because of the wishes of Chezral's mother, Maria Gonzales, a former Johto league, Vermillion city and world champion; she lost all titles in the same year which was more than humiliating for her. Raichu was the main pokemon she used to win all her battles for her so it knew a thing or two about how to fight. Though, to anyone that heard of its amazing feats, they'd know that Raichu had to be a little old. It was in its senior years and it doesn't battle the way it used to. "Yeah yeah whatever. That's what they all say. I'm a good trainer. I've won gym battle after gym battle but I let those sorry excuses for gym leaders keep their badges. Winning titles, cups, trophies, recognitions and badges, well, all of those things are easy to win. What I'm after is the fame. Even without badges I'm still known around the world. Oh but I know what your problem is, you think I'm too hard on my pokemon don't you? Well, you only have one pokemon and that's all good and well but I train 5 at one time and all of them are good enough to go to any league championship contest and win. I'll admit though...this isn't my Raichu. It's my mom's. You know, Maria Gonzales. I don't care who you are, it's tough to live and not know about her. She is the only female to win 3 major titles in the history of pokemon battles. My training methods are only the reflection of her training methods. So don't tell me about pokemon amateur, I know what I'm doing..." Ouch! Never try to reason with this guy; it's a waste of your time. He doesn't listen to anyone and nor will he take advice from anyone. Raichu on the other hand didn't seem to mind the other trainer or Absol at all, in fact, Raichu wasn't even paying attention to a lot that was said except for acknowledging Absol's threat. "Tell your puny Absol that it can battle anytime it wants. Unlike you, I don't have to talk about my battling skills; I got a record behind me. Do you? I haven't even heard of you pal so until you get some fame, KEEP WORKIN'! HA HA HA!" Oh yeah, not only was he an insulting bastard, he was overly arrogant. "You train your pokemon your way and I'll train mine my way. Obviously, whatever I'm doing works."
Che
Joy closed her book and stowed it in her backpack. She had been reading while she was walking, and wasn't paying attention to much. When she looked at her watch, she was suprised by the fact that she was 45 minutes late, and when she looked ahead of her, she gasped at the fact that she was only a few yards away from the facility. Pounding her head with her fist, she sprinted towards the nearest guard. "Name and buisness." He said, not hiding his annoyance at the fact that he's had to say that so many times that day. "Joy. I'm part of the Expidition. And before you say it, I realize I'm late." She said, panting. The guard nodded and quickly let her pass. Inside, there was a woman and two men, who were just as annoyed as the guard about practically the same thing. "Set your Pokeballs in the slots over there, and empty your pockets and your backpack." She commanded. Joy nodded and walked over to the slots and put her Pokeballs in them, though she took her time trying to get her Chansey's Pokeball off the necklace. "I see. A Chansey is quite unusual for a trainer." Said the woman. Joy nodded in agreement. "It is, but my mother gave it to me. She's the Nurse Joy for Evergrande City. Besides, I'm not a trainer." She explained. The woman nodded. "A Ponyta, a Ghastly, a Dodrio, a Ninetales, and a Meowth. Strange company for a Nurse." She said. "I'm not a Nurse Joy either. I want to be a PokeBreeder, but my mother won't let me, so I think I'm going to try and be a Proffesor." Joy explained. "In any case, Ms. Joy, please empty your pockets and your backpack." The woman said boredly. Joy nodded and slid her backpack off, and began to empty it. By the time she was done, there were three stacks of different types of what looked like food. There was also a container of berries, and other items for Pokemon. Other than that, there was a large notebook of lined paper, a couple pens, and lots of books. "And what's all this for?" The woman asked. "Well, my Pokemon are special. They need different types of food, and so I cooked up a lot just in case I run out. I don't want them to, well, starve. They're kinda picky you know? And the items and berries are kinda ovious. The notebook and pens are for me to write down observations, and the books are to, well, read." Joy explained. "Oh, and I don't carry anything in my pockets. Only in my backpack." The woman nodded and finally let her pass. After collecting her stuff, Joy ran into a couple more check-ups until she found herself in a room full of other people. There was a Raichu out of it's Pokeball, and to Joy, that was a sign that she could let out a Pokemon of her own. She tapped the Pokeball on her necklace, and out came her Chansey. "Chan!" It called out happily, relieved to be able to walk around and step out it's Pokeball finally. Joy smiled. "Nice to be out of there, isn't it?" She asked before taking out a book and reading it.
Frankie
As the newest arrival came in Kira leapt to her feet. Her red eyes glaring at both Chez and Rorohiko... at least not at the same time. She went back and froth from each one. "Fakie Superstar boy... Shut your mouth... Absols earthquake attack would flatten your raichu in seconds AND if you both dont shut up ill flatten you both! You two are quite immature to argue like that and why they chose either of you for this is beyond me..." She said quickly... Her red eyes were very different... They seemed to peirce each one of them and they were intimidating. "While on that subject why are YOU hear miss red?" Chez says slightly angered at Kira's interuption. "None of YOUR businiss... But if you must know flyboy... its because im one of the best theives around... I can slip by almost any security system in the world... and take items so quickly you wouldnt be able to see it happen... Now if you dont mind... Id like both you boys to quit your attitudes and chill out.... If this continues i might have to split up from you losers later." Kira tapped the pokeball on the chain around her neck a few times and a noise came from the black pokeball. She nodded to no one and sat back down putting her feet on the table and leaning back in her chair. She did hate the human race after all.
GuyYouMetOnline
"Since I'm guessing you're about to ask why I'm here, Chez, I'll tell you," Rorohiko said. "Unlike you seem to believe, I am well known, at least among those with a shread of intelligence. I'm known not for any accomplishments as a Trainer, but for my discoveries as a researcher. My name is Rorohiko Kaloros, in case you've heard of me. You wouldn't understand the details of my research, so I'll give you the layman's version. "You might or might not be aware of the fact that Absol are only seen before a disaster of some kind, such as a volcanic eruption or an earthquake. You also might or might not be aware of the Pressure phenomenon, which causes a Pokemon in battle against an Absol to tire twice as quickly as usual. "First of all, some Trainers believed that Dusclops also exibits the Pressure phenomenon, but that's not true. Researchers have believed that it's not true for a long time, but it was me who did the experiment that prooved it. I used my Absol and many of my sister's Pokemon, including a Dusclops-oh, my sister, Katrina Kaloros, won last year's Pokemon Leauge tournament, so you've probably heard of her. The results showed that Dusclops simply doesn't tire as quickly as most Pokemon, creating the appearance of the Pressure phenomenon. "Of course, just prooving that Dusclops doesn't exibit the Pressure phenomenon isn't anything big. It doesn't even make Absol the definate sole Pokemon with the Pressure phenomenon, as many of the legendary Pokemon are said to exibit it, though I don't know how that can be prooven or disprooven. But prooving that Dusclops doesn't exibit Pressure isn't the only thing I've done. Through a very complicated process involving a lot of money, some help from my sister, and passing my Absol-although he's not mine, I use 'my' and 'mine' because it's a lot quicker and easier to say-off as a wild Absol, among other things, I managed to proove that the disaster phenomenon and the Pressure phenomenon are related. I don't know what causes them, so I don't know the nature of the relation, but I prooved that there is one. "Now, I really do have things I'm trying to get done, so please try and refrain from talking to me." With that, Rorohiko turned back to his laptop. However, his thoughts were on Kira. Kira's a danger to me, he thought. I can't trust her. She's a thief, and that makes her suspect. She may be one of them. I should make sure I'm prepared, just in case. I'll need to insure that I have some means of communicating with people outside, just in case. ---------------------------------------------------- OOC: First, the Pressure ability in the games makes moves take 2 PP to use instead of 1, so I figured that that would translate to tiring twice as quickly in an RPG. And the other stuff, the stuff about Dusclops and the connection between Pressure and the disaster thing was taken from a previous RPG. No, not one of the ones Blanko did, but one that member eclips did in which I used Rorohiko as my character. Just some FYI stuff there.
Frankie
Kira laughed in her mind, How interesting... he does have a brain... And guts too... Kira reached into her pocket and pulled out her lighter... she began to open it and close it... Occasionally the fire would appear and then dissapere... She did tell that guard that It was empty and that part was true... But it was something that didnt take the same fuel as the normal lighters. Kira glanced from the side towards Rorohiko and smiled, "You people need not worry about me stealing anything of yours... You see... you guys have nothing of value to me. Im just here to get things and artifacts that you simple humans couldnt reach... Say a river of lava prevents you from getting to an area... sure try and send a flying pokemon across... you will end up burning its feathers off and it would perish so quickly... Send me and your home free... " Kira looked back at the lighter and lit it once again... "You need not worry about communication with those on the outside Rorohiko... For you have and never did have anything id want." She laughed to herself again as she responded directly to what he had thought... I dont have to be psychic to hear what you are thinking...Rorohiko.... she thought to herself as she stared at the flame... It calmed her. Kitty
"'You'll probably be the last one there!'" Rin mimicked her sister in a high pitched tone. "She never shuts up," she continued, seeing some guards in the distance. "Not a lot of people," she muttered sarcastically. "Halt!" one shouted. "I'm not even thirty feet near you, you retard!" Rin spat back. He bit his tongue, the other guard shaking his head at him. "You're more than an hour late. I'm surprised to be letting you in," the guard said through clenched teeth after she had answered all his questions. Rin grinned at him, seeing a vein pop out from his temple. She stuck out her tongue right before the doors closed, just in time to see him lunge at her before hitting the doors. "Put your pokeballs in the tray," a woman instructed, her tone going from annoyance to anger. "Yeah, yeah," Rin sighed, putting all of her pokemon on the tray. "Umbreon, Absol, Dragonite, Salamence, Flygon, and Aggron. Now hand me your bag." Rin did as she was told, then started looking around the room for anything interesting. Which, of course, she didn't find. "What is this for?" the woman asked, quite startled by the bag's contents. Inside were ultra balls, for catching pokemon, a can of pokemon food and a bag of chips along with a soda bottle, her pokedex, a large book, a notebook with ruffled pages and some sketches inside, and a binder with cards. Then there was a necklace with what looked, unmistakably, like a master ball. The woman held it up, glancing from Rin to the ball and back to Rin. "How did you get one of these...?" "I made it." "You.. made this?!" "Yeah. No big deal." "These are incredibly valuable! Why do you have one?" she asked in glee. "Um.. Well, I'm saving it for Latios." "But it's more than extremely unlikely that Latios is in the Network. Why did you bring it?" "Like you said, it's incredibly valuable. I bring it with me everywhere, whether or not I run into Latios." "How do you know it works?" "I caught a pokemon with it. Then released it. That pokemon really wanted to be free, so I let it be free." She nodded. The guards in the room were leaning in, also quite interested in the master ball. "Well.. what would you do if someone took it? Taking it around with you has that risk." "To put it simply, that's what the switchblade's for," she chuckled. The guards ran to her and grabbed her arms. "Hey! I was kidding! KIDDING!!" she shouted angrily. "We're going to pat you down anyway. And empty your pockets." "God damnit.." Rin sighed in exasperation. Twenty minutes later, she stumbled tiredly through the doors into a room with other trainers. "Stupid assholes... I was just kidding," Rin grumbled angrily, taking a seat next to a girl who looked quite similar to Nurse Joy. Her Chansey was parading around happily, chanting "Chansey! Chan chan chansey!" She entered after an arguement because it was strangely quiet. Everyone stared at her. Having been searched, all the stuff in her pockets had been taken out. And she was shoved into the room without having a chance to repack her stuff, and instead was handed everything in a bag. While returning all her stuff to where they were originally, the girl next to her asked, "Hey, what's in that?" She was, in fact, pointing to a black box labeled: "Stuff". "Stuff," Rin stated blandly. "Be specific," the girl persisted. "If you must know," Rin began, turning to the girl, "inside is my PokeNav, TM case, VS Seeker, berry pouch, and PokeGear." "Wow. That's a lot of stuff." "What can I say? I'm a collecter," Rin answered in a dull tone. "Well... My name's Joy," she smiled, holding out her hand, "What's your name?" Rin glanced at her. "Rin." She didn't shake her hand and continued returning things to her pockets, the box being placed in her jacket pocket. "Um..." Joy mumbled, taking her hand back awkwardly. "Hello chosen pokemon trainers. All of you have arrived, so we shall soon begin. If you'd all stay in your seats for the next few minutes," a voice said over the intercom. "We've all been in our seats," Rin spoke out. The others lifted their heads and looked at her. "What?" she asked, returning their stares.
Guest Garelock
"Hello chosen pokemon trainers. All of you have arrived, so we shall soon begin. If you'd all stay in your seats for the next few minutes." Hearing that made Chez sigh again and then, grunt right after wards. He folded his arms and started to put on a pout. He wanted to get some action, get into some battles and see if his pokemon were still battle ready. Chez hadn't had a good battle in nearly 2 weeks. Championship pokemon aren't supposed to go that long without a battle because they could develop "battle rust" and become useless for a while. Though, with Chez's training that was always of the harsh quality that most would expect from him it's hard for his pokemon to become rusty with their battle skills. "When is this shabang gonna start? I don't have to time to be sitting around and waiting. I could be in a gym battle right about now. I was invited here and my mom made me come, I'm not here by choice. I should at least know why I'm here!" Chez whined in disgust. It's understandable if he was mad though. He could've been in a gym battle or another tournament that would gain him some valuable fame and glory. He was indeed sitting around and his travel plans, plus his mother telling him not to battle in preparation for his trip did put all 5 of his pokemon out for 2 weeks and a half. All wait and no battle makes Chezral an angry boy. "Raichu" The little electric pokemon purred as it yanked at Chez's jeans, trying to calm him down. "Okay, okay, I can take a hint. But really, wouldn't you rather be battling Raichu? Of course you do, you've been battling all your life; it's what you do. So have I, it just gets on my nerves when I have to sit around and wait for action. It's like I'm in the military or something..." Finally though, he did sit back down and wait a little longer. Though, he could do something to pass the time. A little battle wouldn't hurt and he'd pin his own pokemon against each other. There was enough room and he'd make sure that his pokemon didn't hurt any of the other trainers. Plus, it would give Rorohiko a chance to see what his Raichu was made of. Chez rached into his pokebelt and pulled out a pokemon and chugged it out. And out came Umbreon, a very formittable pokemon and a pokemon that could use dig which would be a direct weakness for Raichu. "Raichu, you're up. Show these guys what you can do..." Raichu and Umbreon separated themselves on top of the board table which was wide and long enough for a "play, play" battle. They weren't really going to hurt each other, just do a little damage here and there for practice. "Umbreon, that goes for you too. Now don't try to kill each other, I need you guys for later. Oh and don't worry, if you screw up, I'll make you both run 100 suicides per mishap." Oh yeah, if you don't know what suicides are it's the equivalent of running full speed for a distance projected back and forth until the runner seems to be extremely tired; it's a common form of punishment used by coaches of various sports so with pokemon it works like a charm for discipline. Umbreon squatted down into a canine-like attack position and growled just as Chezral taught it to. Raichu on the other hand folded its arms and slight closed its eyes; an arrogant stance. Truthfully, Umbreon didn't stand a chance. Raichu was too strong, too smart, too experienced and definitely outmatched Umbreon in every way but one; Umbreon's dig attack. Chez wouldn't interfere or instruct the pokemon on what to do; they already knew what had to be done. Umbreon made the first move as it charged in with a quick attack, running at Raichu with its full speed. Raichu didn't move an inch; just as Chezral expected. As soon as the dark pokemon came within one inch's reach, Raichu's eyes popped open and the old timer used an agility attack and swayed out of the way. Raichu grappled Umbreon from behind and held it in a backsided bearhug. "See, my Raichu's fast, very fast. This move is very common. It's simple, I know Raichu by now, he'll just grab his opponent in a bearhug or full nelson, possibly a half nelson and shock them while holding onto them at the same time. It's what got him 12 titles, I think he should stick to what works." Raichu gave him a shock though as it tried a different move. Raichu leaped into the air while still holding onto Umbreon. As the electric type descended, it forced its body upside down in midair and Umbreon upside down as well. Raichu spun into a downward spiral and slammed Umbreon down for a nasty seismic toss. Raichu flipped over and landed on its feet while poor Umbreon landed on its head. "Wow, now that's what I call original. Nice combination Raichu. Even in your old years your battle skills haven't faded." Umbreon didn't take that too well. It staggered back up to its feet and tried another attack. It went for another quick attack just to try to get Raichu thinking that it was going for that same attack again. Instead, Umbreon came within 2 inches of Raichu instead of 1 and whipped its tail around for an Iron Tail attack. Raichu got slapped in the face with a iron hard tail and fell to the ground. Chezral wasn't talking so loud now. Though, he didn't feel too bad, after all, Umbreon was a tough customer but Raichus's recovery wouldn't be too shabby either. Raichu sprouted back up to its feet as Umbreon swayed backwards. Umbreon squatted down and growled against as it went for another quick attack; a bad move for an unexperienced pokemon. Raichu jumped up and let Umbreon run right under it but just before Umbreon's body could leave from under Raichu's body, the electric pokemon gave it the shock of its life. Raichu aimed a thunderbolt right under itself and sent a whole lot of jolts through Umbreon's body. The dark pokemon dropped on top of the table in defeat. Raichu fell down and landed one foot on the table and one on top of Umbreon's body to signal a clear victory. "Good job Raichu and you too Umbreon. Next time, aim for Raichu's legs, if you can take them out, then you can beat him. Anyways, next time, try to win. Alright Raichu, get off her..." Raichu reached down and pulled Umbreon up on all fours. Raichu gave Umbreon a hug because in truth, they were both good friends and only battled each other to see who was better; Raichu always came out on top though. "Not bad old timer, not bad at all. She almost had you though. You just won because she made a slight mistake in judgement for attacks, otherwise, she just may be the only pokemon to have dominated you." Chezral wasn't being honest, Raichu had been beaten many times before it just didn't happen in a steady pattern that's all. "Alright you two, knock it off. Umbreon you can stay out a while and Raichu, you can too."
GuyYouMetOnline
Kira's psychic, Rorohiko thought, just like Aunt Hope and Cousin Aurora. Good thing Dad taught me how to block my mind. Rorohiko's father, David Kaloros, had indeed taught him how to block his mind. It was a difficult technique to master, but David had done it when he was Rorohiko's age, and Rorohiko mastered it even more quickly than his father. Basically, the technique focused on the fact that psychics could normally get only your surface thoughts. If you learned to hide what you were thinking behind random gibberish in your mind, than you could prevent psychics from getting anything useful from your mind. To keep Kira out of his mind, Rorohiko used it. When Chez had his Raichu and Umbreon battle, Rorohiko paid attention to every detail of the battle. It was a habbit that had served him well over the years. Anything could be important, so pay attention to everything. About fifteen seconds after the battle ended, the door opened and another trainer entered the room. "I thought everyone was here," Rorohiko remarked as the newcommer took a seat. "I was still passing through security when the announcement was made," she explained. "The woman at the searching station made it, and I was there when she did. I must be the last Trainer. My name's Zera." After introductions were made, everyone waited. They waited for about thirty seconds before the door opened again. The man who came through was a cripple. He was in a wheelchair, one of the electronic ones that he could control without a problem. Everyone put away anything they had out as he moved to the head of the table, pushed the chair out of the way to make room, and rolled into his place. "My name is Dalos. Welcome to the Network Access Point facility, NAP for short. I apologize for the security, but we can't afford to be caught NAPping." There was a brief pause. "Sorry," he said. "Bad joke. Anyways, we can't afford any mistakes here. Millions of people want to get into the Network, and it's our job to keep them out. I'm a lot nicer than the guards are, believe me. "Now, I'm sure you're all eager to get in there and start exploring, so I'll keep this briefing, well, brief. Basically, you eight were chosen for the Expedition because you make up what is believed to be the best team that we could get. Each of you was chosen for a different reason, wether it be an obsessive attention to detail, a certain butt-headedness, a penchant for remaining unseen, etc. Your job is to enter the Network as the first true exploration team. Others have entered before you, of course, but their job was primarily mapping, and there's still a lot of unmapped territory down there, and we'll be providing electronic maps that will automatically update themselves if you enter any unmapped territory. "Mapping, however, isn't your primary objective. Your job is to get what information you can about what's down there, mainly information about the new Pokemon. Durring the security examination, your Pokedexes were upgraded. They may now be used to record information on any new Pokemon you find down there. Also, you are to do your best to find out why the Network is there and how it's remained undiscovered untill now. The latter is especially important, as the Network doesn't show up on any kind of scanning equipment. "In addition to the maps, you'll be provided with small recording devices. You must wear them at all times, for they are going to record anything and everything you find down there. You will also be given food and water, and we will provide packs for those of you without packs of your own. There are a few 'stopspots' down there where the initial teams left stashes of food and water. They are marked on the maps, and can be used if you need them. Oh, you'll also be given communicators. They can be used to contact each other, or to us up here if the need arises. Now, it's about time you got underway. Please follow me." Dalos led the Expedition to a large room with an elevator in the middle. The elevator didn't look much like a normal elevator, yet was clearly an elevator. The Expedition members were equipped, and then they were instructed to enter the elevator. "You must be decontaminated before you can be sent down," Dalos told them. "Decontamination will take a few minutes, after which the elevator will automatically begin to decend. Good luck." The elevator door closed, and the decontamination process begun. There were many different lights, but nothing more than a tingling sensation was felt by anyone. It was Rorohiko who eventually broke the silence. "I'm curious about why you all decided to accept the invitation to be a member of this Expedition," he said. "Why don't we share why we're all here while we wait. Who wants to go first?" Frankie
Kira laughed at this... She had earlier realized that Rorohiko was using a blocking technique... To bad for him though he didnt know that she she wasnt like other psychics... She could bypass any block with ease. She smiled to Rorohiko.... "I merely came for the fact i would get farther away from people than ever before. Eight is better than two hundrend... Not to mention there are plenty of fire pokemon down here... and I specialize in fire..." Her red eyes seemed to flare as she said the word fire. " I got one of my pokemon in an underground cave network and Id like to figure out a bit more... This peticular pokemon facinates me... And Im the only trainer in the world to have one..." Kira smiled for she did have the only one of this kind... And she was intrested in learning a bit more about it. About the caves... And about the one thing she hated most... Humans... Being stuck with a group of people would be quite a study. "We already know the reason why Sir hikolot and why Sir Talks to much are here... What about any of you others?" -------------- Out Of Char: Dude... Garelock PLEASE shorten your posts... it makes reading your posts much easier... with the length they are at now... It is tiring and not very enjoyable to read a bunch of stuff that has little meaning to the flow of the rpg... such as your little training battle... (plus... Umbreon could have easily hit raichu numerous times by using Faint Attack... It is like swift... It never misses no matter how fast the pokemon is...) Please be more realistic... pokemon wise anyways. And for you takuya:.... The mind blocking ability wont work with you know who... (It worked with hope and Aurora... but not with you know who... He is... special..)
Sakura
OOC: Sorry I haven't posted during all that, time differences are a pain. Sorry about the length too, I can't think of anything. "I'm here for an adventure. This place is so boring, I've explored practically everywhere." Aria said, looking up from her palm computer. "I don't particularly specialise in any type, I'm an all-rounder." Everyone looked at her and she looked at them, making more notes on her hand held computer. "What are you doing?" someone asked. "Simple, I'm making notes on all of you, just something to keep me busy, and I like to know about those whom I'm with. For example; Rorohiko Kaloros, aged 17, brown hair, brown eyes, one pokemon - Absol, sister Katrina won last year's Pokemon League Tournament. That's about all I know for him." Aria answered, describing Rorohiko. "How did you get all the information?" someone else asked. "Easy, it's called Listening. Do you think I got the information correct, Rorohiko?" she asked, turning to the boy.
Guest Garelock
((OOC: Sorry, I just like long posts; it's what I do. Either I'm going to be too long or too short; there's no way around it with me, trust me, you can ask Takuya. I'd rahte rmy posts be too long and detailed than too short and vague. Anyways, I was battling as a practice, I wasn't having my pokemon use the best of their attacks. I thought I made that clear. Raichu could've used a thunder wave to paralyze Umbreon from the start so I was just trying to be fair. Plus, my Raichu is a WAY higher level pokemon than Umbreon. I was trying to be fair. And anyways, I just did it to past time; it's not like it would've hurt or something. I would've just had my character sit around and talk or something; might as well practice.)) Chez sighed as he gave his own introduction. "I don't know why I have to mention my name; it's not like you all haven't heard of me already. The name's Chezral Gonzales, the current record holder for the most wins straight. That isn't to be confused with the most wins period but I've gone on the longest winning streak of any trainer recorded. Though, that record is soon to be broken if AJ wins another battle...I don't know what I could say about my reasons here; I don't even know. I was invited here and my mom made me go. So, I had to pack up, shape up and ship out. I don't know for sure but I'm guessing I'm wanted on this expedition because of all the wild pokemon that will surely pop up. I must be your body guard or something..." He was only halfway correct. He was more of body guard though but at the same time a person that also knew about a pokemon's abilities and weaknesses. "This is my buddy Raichu. Had 'em for years now. He used to be my mom's pokemon but she kinda gave him to me. Say hello Raichu." "Rai, rai, chu!" The electric type squeaked as it held up its arms and flexed to show off. "Yes, his age has changed; his arrogance hasn't. Anyways, I specialize in pokemon strategy more so than any type and I also have a thing for bringing out the potential in a pokemon. I guess you could say I'm a physical trainer; literally." Finally, there's a lighter side to the seemingly hard headed boy.
Flo
Zera smiled all the other people seemed nice. She deiced to tell the truth about why she was here instead of lying like she always tended to do. As she glanced towards her Umbreon, who she had dubbed Yang, she badan to speak. "I'm Zera Itamese and if my last name rings a bell its probley because my family is renowned for breeding dark and some ghost pokemon. They're kinda masters with with both. THough I have met some trainers who are pretty skilled with dark pokemon and even more who are masters with ghost. One twin brother being one of them. This quiet fellow is Yang, my very first pokemon who, started as an Eevee." Yang shifted towards Zera and crouched infront of her, growling a bit. Looking down Zera countioned, "Yang's pertective. But, inof about my family and Yang. Time for me to tell you all why I'm here and who I am exactally. Basiclly I'm here to start another Eevee Ranch. I have one in Jotho, Kanto, and Hoen. My roots are in Jotho along with my history, but that's my business. I'm a champion double battler. Which means I'm the best at fighting with two pokemon at the same time. I spend most of my life reserching Eevees and evotlion. If you wanna know what pokemon are around my belt you'll have to either pay attention OR battle me. Which ever, doesn't matter, though I perfer double battles. I'll sum up my life in three sentence. I was born. I grew up. So, now I'm here." As Zera sat down Yang jumped into the chair next to her placing his head on her lap. Zera petted his smooth black head to recieve to comferting purs that calmed her nerves. OOC: I'll try to post as often as I can, but I might not get an chance because I'm grounded. I hope my post was okay and if you have any problems with any of my posts P.M me. JUst for information here are the genders of my pokemon: Umbreon (Male), Espeon (Female), Jolton (Male), Vaporion (Female), Flareion (Female), Eevee (Male). Guest TheBlueWave
A blonde haired girl ran down the road. She looked to be about 16, and had a blue t-shirt on with black jeans. Unfortunately, she had an encounter with some members from Team Rocket and was very late. "Your name?" The chubby guard asked her. "Kate," the girl said, panting. She showed him her Pokedex, which seemed to be from Professor Oak. "Kate Smith" "Proceed." Kate walked into the security room. "Your pokeballs?" The security lady said. Kate handed her pokeballs to the lady, and she put them into the machine with the slots for the pokeballs. "Hmm.. Quagsire, Vaporeon, Blastiose, and an Arcanine. Why the Arcanine?" "It was my first pokemon. I eventually decided to be a water pokemon breeder, but he's good for companionship." "Ah, I see. Is anything wrong? You're almost an hour late." "I had some unexpected business to deal with." "OK, then. Proceed." Kate walked into the room that had the other trainers in it. "I'm sorry I'm late." IC: Kira stood therei n the elevator with everyone... during the ecantamination process... She looked at the umbreon and thel ack of space in the elevator... "Have you nutcases not noticed there isnt enough room in this elevator for out pokemon to be out... chansey is a large pokemon.. raichus are huge too.... Why not put them away for a while..." Kira tapped her black pokeball again and waited... there was a noise from it again and she nodded. She closed her eyes and stayed silent.
Guest Garelock
Chez didn't take lightly to insults; no one did. So far, this girl seemed to talk more junk and honestly, that was sad. Though, he'd return the favor with an insult of his own. He gave Kira a smirk. "Hmm...well, pokemon are normally mean, rude and sometimes they'll do silly things. Oh, they'll speak at random though trainers aren't SUPPOSED to understand them. Some can be downright ugly and some can be females...why does all those characteristics fit you? Oh, maybe you're an "out pokemon" as well. Why don't you crawl back into your pokeball? My Raichu doesn't like being in a pokeball so I'm not going to make him go back in it. If you don't like him being out, that's tough; deal with it. Nobody should have to put their pokemon back into their pokeballs if they don't want to. You're not the boss of any of us." Chez folded his arms and Raichu grabbed onto his jeans. He looked over to Joy and smiled. "You can leave your Chansey out. Don't do what that girl says just because she's a pathetic, lonely person who doesn't seem to like people at all. Pokemon should be free to roam as they please if they so desire. If she can't understand that then I don't know why she's a trainer to begin with..."
Che
Joy shook her head. "No, she does have a point. This elevator is too small for us and our Pokemon, and besides, Chansey is rather big, as she said. Then again, most my Pokemon are. This could cause a problem." She said, returning Chansey back into it's Pokeball and scratching her head out of thought. "Oh yeah, we're introducing ourselves, aren't we? Sorry. I'm Joy, and before you ask, I'm the daughter of the Ever Grande City Nurse Joy. Lets, see....I wish I was a PokeBreeder, because I dislike Nursing, but my mother wouldn't allow it. She said that if I wasn't going to become a Nurse Joy, then the least I could do was become a Proffesor, but I was going to do that anyway. But, in any case, she made me release all but six Pokemon. Those being Chansey, oviously, Ponyta, Meowth, Dodrio, Ninetales, and Ghastly." She said. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Aria making some more notes, but she didn't mind. "Hey, how long is this elevator going to be moving? They said they found the Network from a blast of an Electrode, so it can't be too far down..." Joy said.
Frankie
Kira was not at all affected by what the one boy had to say.. .she took it as a compliment. "I dont dislike your raichu... i think hes quite cute actually... I merely said it to point out the fact that this elevator is quite small... Anyways... As for this Elevator joy it hasent moved yet... Its still doing its decontamination thing..." Kira had this wierd aura abouth er where she would say what she wished... and yet she didnt care what others said to her or about her. She smiled at chez and grinned... "More than 90% of the people on this planet can understand what their pokemon say... If your close with your pokemon... You can easily understand what they mean when they talk... Oh and by the way your right... I dont like people much... If you knew my past you would understand but you wouldnt care now would you..." Kira kept the grin and then closed her eyes again. Guest Garelock
Chez smiled and seemed to take nicely to this girl. At first, he thought she was nothing more than a mean old girl but now, he was getting the impression that she was being a "vixen in the highlands" which is an old term for a girl who was challenging a guy with either wits or reverse personality traits. To be honest with himself, he actually didn't dislike the girl at all; he kind of liked her. "Actually, I don't think anyone would care if you didn't care enough to TELL us about your past. It's one thing to say that people wouldn't care but it's another thing to say that they don't care about something and yet you yourself haven't contributed in any way to make them understand something that you believe they should care about. Perhaps you would tell me some more about this past of yours then I'd have the possibility of understanding. But as for now, you try putting a Raichu into a pokeball when it doesn't want to go. It's not like I can MAKE it go into a pokeball. You of all people should know that when a perfectly healthy pokemon doesn't want to go into its pokeball that it will not under any circumstance stay in that pokeball. Sorry...I couldn't help you even if I wanted to. Here, I'll show you what I mean..." Chez pulled out a pokeball with an Electric symbol on it; Raichu's own pokeball. "Return Raichu...come on, get inside..." Chez pleaded. Raichu gave its trainer a nasty frown as a stream of light swirled out from the pokeball and sucked the elecric pokemon right into it. But just a split second later, the ball opened back up with a concentrated flash of light into an electric jolt. Out came Raichu again and it seemed to be aggravated. "See what I mean? It's tough to get electric types to obey you. You guys think I just make my pokemon do all the stuff I get them to do; I really don't. They t rain of their own free will because, lets be honest, if they didn't like me they could simply attack me and try to kill me. Have they done so? If I'm still standing here then the answer is no. If the truth was told, my pokemon would rather be stronger...than to be weak and not train to the best of their abilities", Chez explained. "That has nothing to do with your past though...if you don't wish to tell everyone else, give me a text message then." Chez whispered the number to Kira, trying not to reveal it to everyone else; especially the guys.
GuyYouMetOnline
"Two things," Rorohiko said. "First, a clarification. Yes, most Trainers have a general idea of what their Pokemon are trying to say. I know exactly what Absol is saying, and can quote him word-for-word--and I do mean that literally--, and as far as I know, I'm the only person who's ever learned to do that, but most Trainers can indeed get a general idea. "As for you, Chez, either you think we're all idiots, or you have the lowest IQ in world history. See, according to you, it's impossible to catch Pokemon. To catch a Pokemon, a Trainer must get it into a Pokeball. Wild Pokemon usually don't like being caught. According to you, as soon as you take that POkemon to a Pokemon Center for healing, it's perfectly capable of escaping from its Pokeball and leaving. But Pokemon don't do that. So, you're quite obviously full of bullshit. Just then, a bell sounded, and the elevator began to decend. About time, Rorohiko thought. The elevator stopped a few seconds later. Not many people would have even seen it, let alone noticed it, but Rorohiko was continuously observing everything, always on the lookout for potential threats. That's why he saw Kira's seeming shock. It only lasted for a split second, but it was definatly there. Testing a theroy, he picked up a rock, positioned himself so that he was behind Kira, who was between him and Chez. Rorohiko threw the rock, which hit her in the back. "Sorry," Rorohiko apologized. "I was aiming for Chez." She was shocked because she can't read my mind anymore, Rorohiko thought. It's strange that she didn't show any signs of shock until the elevator stopped. Probably a coincidence, but maybe not. "Well, we're here." Rorohiko said as the elevator door opened and everyone stepped out into what was a branching point, with many tunnels to choose from. "We have supplies, we have the recorders, we have upgraded Pokedexes, and we have communicators. Let's split up and do what we're here to do." With that, Rorohiko walked down one of the tunnels. -------------------------------------------- OOC: We are now officially in the Network. It's time to start exploring and catching new Pokemon. Remember, no legendaries or Pokemon that are evolved from Stage 2 Pokemon such as Charizard.
