RPG Pokemon: The Network (PG: V,L)

Chez blushed a few different colors and finally back to his natural tone. It was almost as if she was calling him out or something. If she felt the same way then of course, Kira was the type to come straight out and tell him; it's not like she has held her tongue for anything else. For the time being though, he'd have to be honest with her; he owed it to her. He looked to Raichu for support but still, he was playing with his newfound friend who was a female; this kind of stuff was flying in the air. No, Raichu didn't like Sprix like "that" but in a friendly way, plus, Sprix was far too energetic for Raichu's liking.

"I...I think I like you Kira. I know we haven't gotten off on the right foot but I know you feel the same way. I...I think I'm falling in love with you. I mean, our personalities clash all the time. I won't lie to you, at first, I hated your guts and everything that you stood for. In just this short 30 minutes though, I've grown to understand you more and I know you've grown to understand me as well. I won't dictate your feelings...so I was hoping that you felt the same way aboiut me." This wasn't a statement as much as it was question formed in a sense.

Kira stared at him for a moment and then smiled. For the first time she actually smile and she laughed too.

"In the beggining I hated you too. You talked to much and seemed to argue with the other males in the room... But I realize in the wilD males aruge and fight to show who is tougher or worthy of being alpha male... When alone though you dont tend to act that way because theres no one to compete with."

Then Kira looked away for a moment. "Ok... Im not used to emotion you know... Only hate and dislike... when it comes to humans at least but i will have to admit... I beleive I am beggining to like you as well in that manner, But... We have a mission here so... Let us continued our exploration and save the emotional stuff for a later time. Plus I sense one of my pokemon wants out do some tracking."

Kira turned and pulled her hands from Chez's grip... She pulled out a flare ball and out came her Growlithe named Pyro.

"Hey Pyro... Meet Chez... And his two pokemon over there... Raichu and Sprix." Kira introduced her fire pokemon to the others. Pyro had fought a raichu before so it knew which one was which.

Kira turned to chez, "Shall we get going?"

[COLOR=Navy]Aria heard Rorohiko's comment and turned to look at the battle. Umbreon was standing, growling again but the other pokemon was panting on the ground. Aria walked over and threw one of her pokeballs at it. The ball hit the creature on the head and it was sucked into the pokeball in a flash of silver light. It wiggled on the ground a couple of times before chiming, signifying that the pokemon was safely caught. Aria opened the pokeball and her newest pokemon jumped out.

The small thing resembled an eevee evolution, it was a green furry creature with ears that looked like ivy leaves.

"Le, Leafeon." it called. Aria whipped out her updated pokedex and started to type in the information for the new type of pokemon.

"A Leafeon...Great, I found another Eevee evolution!" Aria cried happily, returning the pokemon to his pokeball.

"Nice battle Umbreon, take a rest." she said, returning Umbreon into his pokeball.

"Hey Rorohiko, can I borrow that cable of yours? I want the information on the tablet too, after all, I am a researcher/adventurer." Aria asked walking back over to him and the tablet.[/COLOR]

Chez was so relieved that Kira SEEMED to feel the same way; oh, if she didn't like anything he had said she would've told him about it. He turned to the Growlithe and smiled. "Wow, he's a little big for a Growlithe don't you think? He should be about ready to evolve. Though, I do realize that not all pokemon like to evolve. He would would make a great Arcanine though...a nice, shiny coat, big muscles, and a good, solid look overall. Are you a pokemon trainer or pokemon breeder? I'm confused now." Chez laughed and smiled in his mind because at least now he knew that she liked him too.

"Alright Raichu, Sprix, lets head 'em up, move 'em out. Sorry Kira, my mom says that a lot so I kinda got hooked on the saying. Anyways, since it's a dog type of pokemon, I expect a good tracking pokemon out of Growlithe. With you though, I know I'll get just that a whole lot more...wait, did it find something already?!" Growlithe seemed to have its nose on something and it was right in the room. It turned out that Kira wasn't the only one who could be invisible because whatever it was no one else could see. That had to be a good 9.5 on the amazing meter, obviously, Kira was a much better trainer when it comes to exploiting a pokemon's natural abilities; something that Chez obviously lacked in. Her Growlithe did what both his Ursaring and Raichu couldn't do.

"GROOOOOOWLITH!" It growled as it was barking at what seemed to be nothing. But then, after a few more barks and after Raichu and Sprix came to help in the shouting, something did appear. No wonder it couldn't be seen, it was a ghost type pokemon. It looked almost similiar to a Houndour in shape but way different from the dark type pokemon that the police have come to know and love. This pokemon didn't have all the white plate bone structures on its back and head like Houndour did, in fact, it was just a bare pokemon. Its ears were wiggly and long but they were expected upwardly like a Doberman's but wiggly like a piece of paper in the wind. Its skin was a strange mixture of black and purple and it was almost as if one could see right through it as its body glowed with dark energy. Energy orbs floated all around it as it was clearly a ghost type.

"This one is yours Kira. I caught two already, now I think I'll give you a chance. Go get 'em" Chez backed away. "Back up Raichu, Sprix, give them some room." Raichu and Sprix backed away, leaving on Growlithe on the attack helm.

"Let's get moving," Rorohiko said after transfering the data to Aria's laptop. "No point in staying here any longer. Keep an eye out for anything unusual." The two of them resummed walking the the same direction they'd been headed in earlier.



A man named Victor Trolmont walked over to a rather large hole. Several Sandslash were in the hole digging. Sandslash had been used to locate areas where the Network ran underneath, and now a group of them was digging in the first such location found. A young woman was supervising the Sandslash.

"What's the status?" Trolmont asked her.

"We should be almost there, sir," she told him. Just then, the Sandslash finished. They had dug a hole into the Network. Trolmont ordered the equipment brought over. There was a lot of it, mostly meant for inside the Network. There was also a crane, which was used to lower the equipment down into the Network. Ladders were set against the walls of the hole, allowing the numerous people to climb down into the Network.

When everything was down, Trolmont confirmed that all the people had also made it down. After he did that, he spoke.

"We can't afford to waste any time," he said. "The main unit will move in the direction of the real Network entrance. Scouts will be sent ahead and in directions we choose not to take. We need a complete survey of as large an area as possible before we begin."

Trolmont selected the scouts and sent them off, then led the main team, plus all the equipment, in the dircetion of the main Network entrance.

Kira smiled... this pokemon looked like a neat addition to her team although it didnt seem to be a a fire type... The ghost type pokemon could easily be taken down if the right moves were used. Kira pointed at the ghostly dog.

"Ok Pyro... Lets take this seriously! USE EMBER!"

The Growlithe let out a howl, "Grooooowwww" And ran at its opponent. The ghost dog dissapered from sight again but Growlithe could still tell where it was. He aimed an opened his mouth. A huge ball of firey embers burst from his mouth and hit something in the air. The ghost pokemon came in and out of vision.

"Grrrr..." The pokemon growled sent a psychic blast towards growlithe.

"Growlithe! Use your speed!" With kira's command her growlithe turned to the sideways and zipped out of the way almost as quick as a Raichu could.

"Grr... Luuu... Lupin!"

"Ah he finally says his name... Lupin eh? " Kira said with a grin. "Growlithe! Use Bite!"

The dark move bite would drain this pokemon of its health due to type advantages. The bite actually connected with the Lupin and it stopped in its tracks... It floated above the ground for a while and then its feet landed on the ground and he staggered around a bit.

"Alright... Fire blast! While its still effected by the flinch."

Pyro obayed and opend its mouth... It dug its feet into the ground before it sent a huge firey blast out of its mouth. It engulfed the pokemon but the unexpected happend. The Lupin grew a bit in size as it seemed to be not effected by the pure flames. It opened its own mouth as its eyes began to flow dark red.

"Uh oh... I should have thought of that..." Kira said realizing most ghost pokemon have another type as well.

The pokemons open mouth seemed to make a strange gurgling noise. Suddenly a huge blast of cold water came hurtling out of Lupins mouth. The huge blast of water hit Pyro and swirled him around in the air before slamming him down into the ground. Kira didnt want her pokemon hurt much more that it already was.

"Growlithe... Return... " Kira returened Pryo, "Hmm I have more pokemon lupin... I will catch you."

"Kira I thought you had only fire types?" Chez said suddenly.

"Right... your point is?" Kira took a pokeball from her pocket and grinned... "GO GYARADOS!"

"Thats not a fire type..." Chez said pointing out the fact that the water pokemon was not fire.

"He can use fire blast... Thats why I have him.... Gyarados... USE THUNDER!"

The look on Lupin's face was of pure shock. Thats what it was about to get. The large water flying pokemon rose its large head and let out a roar as it sent out a shock of electricity that fried the ghost pokemon. The pokemon wobbled a bit and its red eyes faded to the original dark blue or purple. The Gyrados returned itself and Kira threw a spare pokeball and the pokemon was sent inside with a flash of light.

"Gyrados can use thunder too... Its quite usefull actually." Kira said walking over to the wiggling pokeball that soon made a Ding... Telling her she had caught the lupin. "And my Growlithe was in pretty good shape but I returned him for One thing... He has a fear of water far more extream than most fire pokemon... He is terrified of it... So I will not force him to fight a pokemon with water abilities." Kira said slipping the pokeball into her pocket with her other pokeballs.

Chez smiled at her again and brushed the side of her face with his hand. "You're so pretty when you're all in a pokemon catching mood. Now you know I'm crazy...you know, really, I don't know why I'm like this; it must be love. You know how it is, we've all met someone who we were crazy for. I guess you're that person eh? Say, after all this is done do you wanna catch a movie or something? I could leave our pokemon with my mom and all; she's the type to love to meet new pokemon and it would give her something to do than watch "The Old and the Restless" for the remainder of her life. Then afterwards, we could go to a restaurant or something...whatever you want to do. I mean, you don't have to leave your pokemon with my mom but I'd recommend it. Who wouldn't trust their pokemon with my mom?" Chez questioned. Kira wasn't about to let him too close to her though; that's pretty much established.

"Lets save that for later Chezral Gonzales." Kira smiled as she knew his whole name.

"You sound like my mom already. She'll love you. Though, she has a thing with uh...people going invisible and all. That might creep her out. Really, how did you do that?!", Chez said as he laughed.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out. Anyways, didn't I tell you not to do any flirting until we were out of here? Now, you do it again and I'll never go out with you. Lets keep going...lover boy..." She had her ways of taunting which made her all the more interesting.

"Fine, fine, you drive a tough bargain but I guess I'll have to wait to put my super mojo on ya...then I know you'll be all mine because no one can resist the Chez-meister." Yeah, he had become a much nicer person but he was still an arrogant bastard.

"Come on Raichu, Sprix, Growlithe, lets roll. We got a long journey ahead of us. You too Kira, we can't leave you behind."

She gave a fake frown. "Wow, did you make that joke up all by yourself?"

"I tried didn't I? I'm not exactly a stand up comedian yet but I can give you a punch line or two. I think we should get moving before the others beat us to the exit..." With that, Kira, Chez and the gang moved on further into the tunnel.

Kira walked along and sensed something not quite right... She kept it to herself though... As they walked the sense of something wrong got worse.


They came into yet another room but it was much larger than the one before it. Huge rockes were everywhere and some looked as they were lava rocks. Kira kept her eyes open and she looked back and for almost every step. Chez caught on to her odd behavior.

"Whats wrong?" he asked.

"Shhh..." Kira said.

Then a Rock exploded... and from that rock came a pokemon. It was green in color and had blue eyes. It was shaped much like a golem and instead of pure rock it had vines covering its body. It seemed like a grass pokemon but kira wasnt sure... She didnt want to risk hurting her fire pokemon with a rick and ground attack from a pokemon that looked like a grass. Anything was possible. But she didnt want to hurt her gyarados either. Kira realized it was probably a rock and grass type and so that left the newly caught... still wounded Lupin... of Shadow Digadon...

"This one is Mine... I normaly would capture a pokemon such as this one but... Seeing how im not just a trainer this pokemon could be a nice challenge. You were right I am kind of a breeder but not officaly... Plus by the look on its face... We probably arent leaving this room without fighting it."

Kira took the dark pokeball around her neck and released the shadow digadon. He whipped his mew like tail around and dashed at the vine covered pokemon that was headed straight for Kira and the others.

The pokemon roared and curled into a ball. Roll out was an attack Kira had seen before and this was similar if not exactly the same. Shadow Digadon (SD) went invisible and got out of the way of the attack. he re appeared and used a dark attack. The black blast hit the pokemon but did not do that much. Digadon used another and did some damage but not much.

The boulder pokemon slammed into SD sending him flying across the room. He skidded along the ground and a could of dust went into the air. When the dust settled SD was already up and attacking with a series of different unknown dark attacks. His eyes were glowing red.

"Hmm... Hes acting strange..." Kira said suddenly noticing his behavior. "Shadow Digadon back off for a moment."

But the pokemon ignored her. He started using physical attacks which were nothing compared to the boulders defense. He was thrown down a few times before getting enraged. He let out a roar and got his head near the ground. he took a big bite of dirt and chewed it and swallowed.

"Oh my... I forgot Digadons are like larvitars... When they eat enough rocks and dirt they evolve... perhaps this behavior is because he is about to evolve."

The rock opend its mouth and send a HyperBeam at SD. SD was thrown way back and into the wall... He was knocked unconcious or so Kira though...

"Oh.. Oh no... With the evolution coming I forgot his stats are lowered to dangerously low levels to give him enough energy to evolve... No wonder his attacks arent doing much." Kira ran to her pokemon.

SD let out a screech and suddenly changed form. It was now almost three feet taller than Kira. His shovel hands were now claws but instead of nails they were Drills. He had a Drill on his forhead like Rhydon. His tail was still that like mew's only larger. His head was also still shaped as mews. He leapt up and charged the boulder pokemon.

"He... Evolved..." Kira said watching her pokemon slam into the boulder. He still wasnt listning to kira and she thought this very odd. He slammed his finger nail like drills into the boulder and this caused much damage as it was still a rock. Kira wasnt sure what to ... Let her pokemon destroy the Ivyrock pokemon or return him and leave them open for attack.

"Drill... drill.... drill" The pokemon chanted... Clearly he was now Shadow Drilladon. (still SD)

Kira shouted, "Drilladon... STOP!" With this her pokemons eyes returned to normal and he turned to look at her.

Kira realized distracting Drilladon wasnt the best idea but it was a little late the angry boulder turned on Chez... He was a lone target.

The pokemon opened his mouth and sent a Hyper beam right at Chez clearly not affraid to attack humans. Kira turned around in time to see the blast rocket towards Chez... She went quickly. She pushed chez out of the way and was Hit instead. She went flying into a boulder.

Drilladon roared in anger and used his special Dark Forces attack to confuse the boulder pokemon that realized it was going to lose so it chose a safer route. It was about to run away but Drilladon knocked it out with Iron Tail. The boulder lay defeated on the ground... Drilladon stomped over next to kira.

"K...Kira..." It mananged to say her name... He lowered his head in shame... How could he lose control like that... that was why she was hurt now... he returned himself and the room was silent.

Kira was knocked unconcious and lay still on the dirty ground.

There was... something. He had felt something for a while now, but he was unable to identify it. Unable, that is, until it suddenly intensified. He recognised it immediatly. He could still feel it distinctly even after the spike faded, for it stil remained above its original level.

[i]It seems that my former foe has returned,[/i] he thought. [i]Our dispute must be setled. It must be done as soon as possible.[/i]

He could feel his adversary's presence, sense its location. He chose the quickest route to that location, not knowing that others were on the path he chose.



"Any ideas about what that tablet meant?" Aria asked Rorohiko.

"Things like that are normally about 95% bullshit," Rorohiko answered. "I doubt that it means much at all. Even if it's not bullshit, I have no clue what it's trying to tell us. If we find other tablets, I may be able to get something from the combined text, but right now, I can't tell you anything."

The two of them walked in silence for a few seconds before they almost got run over by something moving towards them at high speeds. Fortunatly, the approaching something noticed them soon enough to come to a stop before impact.

The something's rapid stop kicked up a lot of dust. As soon as Rorohiko and Aria could see clearly again, they looked at the something. It was a new Pokemon, and it looked like a tough one, too. And Aria and Rorohiko were in its path.

As kira lay there unconcious something was happening. Her mind spiraled and twisted in black space... A strange flashback...

[i]There was herself... a woman... and a man... The face... His eyes were watery and he was staring at a woman. The woman was in a hospital bed and was holding a tiny baby with thin blonde hair. The man was crying and the woman looked pale...[/i]

[i]Kira was only 7... her black hair was super short and her eyes were green... Everying zoomed to another picture. They were on the hill top and there was alrge hole.... a cascet was being lowered into the hole and pokemon and people surrounded it with sad looks upon their face. Kira stood there alone. The man and baby were at home... wait... who were they...[/i]

[i]'was that... dad... and then... that had to be my sister... Whats going on...'[/i]

[i]The vision spiraled and she was in front of a fire... The hot flames raced quickly and suddenly things went silent and black as she was thrown back... Her brain was racing yet it hurt too... 'what is all this information...'[/i]

[i]Then she realized it was memories. Her father was Zash one of the best trainers their area... droven insane by the death of his wife Tala the master of dog like pokemon. Her self and her sister Arika were sent to an orphangge and split up. After the explosion she forgot... apparently her being hit by the hyper beam had jogged some memories. Her mind then went blank.[/i]

Most people would have just noted the new Pokemon's appearance. Rorohiko, being Rorohiko, immediatly thought of the new Pokemon's appearance in terms of Absol's. Like Absol, it was four-legged, and had Absol's basic body shape, thought it was quite a bit larger, and not just in height. The Pokemon was thicker than Absol, more massive. Closer to something like Entei than Absol. The new Pokemon was also about a foot taller than Absol, and proportioned accordingly. The Pokemon was mostly white in color, though there were two wide, black stripes positioned 45 degrees from the top of the Pokemon's body.

The new Pokemon's legs were larger and thicker than Absol's bun only to match the increased size of the body. Its paws looked a lot like larger, thicker versions of Absol's, but with one major difference. The back half of each paw was elevated from the ground. What looked a lot like the black things that stuck out of the backs of Absol's paws ran from where the Pokemon's paws lost contact with the ground to the ground, and also ran from the back of the paws up the backs of the legs.

The Pokemon's head didn't look at all like Absol's. It was more intimidating, for one thing. It was a bit doglike, but there wasn't much of a snout. Several spikes-they weren't quite spikes, but Rorohiko couldn't think of a better word-were evenly spaced around the Pokemon's neck. They were angeld so that they encircled the head. They were't long enough to enclose all of the head, but they enclosed a good portion of it.


Rorohiko grabbed Absol's Pokeball. "What are you doing?" Aria asked.

"I'm going to try and communicate with it," Rorohiko answered.

Suddenly, both of them heard a rather deep voice. <[b]Whatever you are planning is not necessary. I am able to communicate in your language.[/b]>

"What was that?!" Aria exclaimed.

"My dad has some psychic ability, and so does his sister, her husband, and their children," Rorohiko replied. "I know what a voice in my head feels like, and that was definatly a voice in my head. This Pokemon can communicate telepathically." Rorohiko turned back to the new Pokemon. "The only Pokemon that are confirmed to be able to telepathically communicate with humans are Lugia and Jirachi, although many say that Mewtwo also has the ability. There were also reports of an Entei doing it, and my dad's told me that there's another, but I forget the name of that Pokemon. Now, those Pokemon all fall under the 'legendary' catagory, although some people-such as myself-don't include Mewtwo. So, I'm going to assume that you laso fall under the 'legendary' catagory."

<[b]I most likely meet the criteria,[/b]> the Pokemon responded. <[b]I have no doubt that you want to know my name. I am Erivel.[/b]>

"Well, Erivel, I'm Rorohiko, and this is Aria. As you can probably guess, I have a few questions for you."

<[b]I cannot answer them. There is something I must do.>[/b]

"I'm coming with you," Rorohiko replied. He released his Absol. "And Absol here will ensure that I don't slow you down."

<[b]I did not expect you to have one of them,[/b]> Erivel sent. <[b]I cannot give you the full explination now. The short version is that Absol decended from me.[/b]>

Erivel didn't give Rorohiko time to answer. He was off. Rorohiko, now even more determined to pump Erivel for information, quickly got on Absol, who took off after Erivel. Aria releaser her Pigeot. Pigeot's speed was limited in the tunnels of the Network, but it could still keep up with Erivel, even with Aria on its back.

Kira moved slightly as Chez realized what she had done. She had thrown herself in front of the attack to protect him from being hurt. He stared at her for a second and Raichu poked him. When he looked away Kira's eyes opened...

"Hes coming!" She said loudly.

"Calm down your hurt." Chez said trying to keep her from leaning up.

She over powered him and got to her feet, "HES COMING..."

"Who is coming...?" Chez asked...

Kiras eyes glowed red like drilladon's and she said in a very wierd voice, "Erivel... The legendary Human Protector and my one and only Rival on this planet... Stay out of my affairs human..." The odd voiced Kira said.

"Whats wrong with you.."

Suddenly a large dog like pokemon appeared and he was followed by absol and Rorohiko. A pidgeot came in as well.

Kira growled and glared at the dog Erivel. "What is that!?" She said normaly... Just beofre Erivel had appeared her eyes returned to normal and so did her voice.

Erivel lifted his head and glared around the room.

Suddenly Shadow Drilladon came from his pokeball. He was surrounded by a black aura and his eyes were glowing red. He instantly charged Erivel and Erivel charged back. They were now fighting.

"Go drilladon... "

[b]"You my old rival... We have a dispute to settle! Your views on humans are wrong!"[/b]

"No my nemesis... You are wrong... The Ancient Humans almost destroyed this world and they did destroy my kind..." Drialladon said in perfect english... the black aura pulsed each time he spoke.

Kira stood there. Rorohiko watched.

"Humans Equall Bad! Kick his rear Drilladon!"

"Excuseme? Humans arent bad... Humans Equal Good!"

Kira glared at Rorohiko. "You are mistaken young man... Why dont you just prove it in a battle eh? Cyndaquil go!" Kira tossed out the pokeball and the small fire pokemon came out. All her pokemon were larger than normal and well groomed.

"If humans are oh so great prove it.."

Rorohiko felt seriously strange for a second. Kira was saying that humans were bad, and then there was suddenly a Cyndaquil on the ground in front of her. [i]What the hell just happened?[/i] he wondered. [i]I think I quite literally missed something. Things are starting to get seriously bizarre.[/i]

Rorohiko looked at the Pokemon battling Erivel, then back at Kira. "That thing Erivel's fighting is yours, and you seem to know a lot more about what's going on than I do. What the hell is all this about?" Kira didn't even seem to notice his question. "Fine," Rorohiko said. "I haven't heard anything to justify this battle, but if you want to fight, then we'll fight. Absol, let's kisk some ass."

Absol faced Cyndaquil. "This should be easy," Rorohiko said. "Absol, Water Pulse!"

Neither Kira nor Cyndaquil were expecting a Water-type attack, but Cyndaqil reacted in time to dodge. The small Fire-type countered with Ember. Absol nullified the Ember attack with Flamethrower, but he didn't hit Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil came at Absol with Quick Attack, managing to score a hit. Absol responded with a Water Pulse, and this time the move connected. Absol hit with a Quick attack of his own before the heavily damaged Cyndaquil could get back on its feet, then finished the round with Slash. Cyndaquil was out.

"That little Cyndaquil did surprisingly well," Rorohiko said. "However, you'll have to do a lot better if you want to win against me, Kira. Now, on to round two. Which Pokemon's next?"

[size=1][color=blue]"Whatever it was, it's gone now," Rin muttered. Absol was sniffing around, but even he knew that he wouldn't be able to track whatever it was. He began to walk along, Rin close behind, reaching a break in the single tunnel. "Three of them. Which one to--" Rin began. But suddenly, her pokemon ran off in another direction. "Absol!" she cried, running after it. "Rin! Wait!" Joy shouted, but it was too late. Both Absol and Rin were gone when she reached the three seperate tunnels.

"Oh.. [i]now[/i] where's she gone?"

Rin threw one of her pokeballs, Flygon emerging. "Com'mon! Follow Absol! [i]Don't[/i] lose him.." She hopped on, her pokemon squealing with excitement. She hadn't been out of her pokeball in a while.

Gliding along the small tunnel, Flygon had a hard time dodging some of the rocks that were protruding from the rock walls. "Careful.." she whispered. Finally, Absol came into view. But he was coming to a halt. Rin hopped off and returned Flygon to her pokeball before she ran into Absol. Walking up to him, Rin wondered what was going on. Then she saw some people she recognized, and two pokemon battling.

Aria was the one who noticed Rin first. "Hey!" she called, recognizing her. She signaled for her to come over, and the two of them rushed over, avoiding the two pokemon battling in the middle of the cave.

"What's going on?" Rin asked immediatly.

"Those two are legendary pokemon. Dillagon thinks that humans are evil, and Erivel wants to change his views on humans. That's why they're battling. Those two," she said, pointing to Rohiroko and Kira, ".. are battling because Kira wants Rohiroko to prove why humans are good. Because, you know." "She was cheering for Dillagon?" Aria nodded. "Okay. Got it."

Not sure which battle was more interesting, she kept glancing from one to the other, her Absol following Rohiroko's Absol's every move.[/color][/size]

Kira didnt seem to shocked about the water attack. After all Absol... a disaster pokemon could use moves like tidle wave and eathquake... though if Rorohiko had absol use that attack in this cave no one would ever leave... The ceiling would cave in and it wouldnt matter who was right or wrong. Kira took out another pokeball and released Gyarados and she returned cyndaquil.

"Hmm... Go... Start with thunder!" Kira commanded as if it was a soldier in a war.

Absol stumbled a bit.

"Wait whats wrong with you absol..."

"Oh didnt you know Rorohiko? My gyarados has a power to lower your pokemons attack! Special and Normal..."

Gyarados began to spark and suddenly absol was hit with a criticle blast of electricity. The pokemon fell but got back up again.

Erivel and Drilladon were mainly fighting physicly but suddenly Drilladon used a dark attack. He vanished out of sight and a huge silvery ball appeared above Erivel. Before the Erivel could get out of the way the attack slammed down on top of him.

Erivel then opend its mouth and shot magma at something invisible. There was thud and Drilladon appeared. He pulled himself up and then charged Erivel with his drill fingers and horn spinning wildly.

Meanwhile gyarados hits the ground... unconcious. Absol was losing energy but Kiras pokemon were droppping like flies only due to type disadvantages. Kira returns her fish and sends out Growlithe.

Pyro howled and Absol staggered again. Another lower of special and normal attack stats... Pryo too had this power apparently. Pryo went off and slammed into absol sending him backwards. Dust kicked up and the two began to fight in the cloiud of dust... The more attacks they used them ore dust surrounded them so no one knew what which pokemon was doing.

"You might have this round in the bad Rorohiko but I shall reduce your pokemon to ashes if I MUST! You might think absol is all powerfull or great and wonderful BUT HE ISNT hes the same as all the other pokemon... has some strengths and... som weaknesses." Kira shouted.

The dust cleared and pyro stand in front of absol. They both were breathing hard and were having trouble but Pyro fell.

"What was that you were saying?" Rorohiko yelled back.

"Ill show you..." Kira released Ponyta. The flame horse pokemon instantly kicked absol in the head. He went flying backwards and almost knocked Rorohiko down. "Your absol may have pressure but that doesnt mean its gonna let make it so you can win. If you wish to interfere with my affairs then you shall be eliminated..."

OOC: I'm pretty sure that the Intimidate ability only lowers regular Attack, and not Special Attack.

Erivel had an easy shot. He attacked with a Dark-type move that was a beam of energy that looked a lot likt Aurora Beam, only black in color. Drilladon was hit, and stumbled in its charge. Erivel began circling Drilladon, and the two of them traded attacks, neither getting hit too frequently. Erivel seemed to be doing slightly better than Drilladon, but not my much.



"We're not done yet," Rorohiko said as Absol got back up. "Absol, I think it's about time to give Kira the shock of her life."

Absol glowed for a second. Ponyta attacked with Fire Blast, but Absol managed to dodge. Ponyta used Flamethrower, which Absol countered with a Fire Blast of his own. The Fire Blast canceled out the Flamethrower, but Ponyta itself avoided the attack.

Ponyta used Quick Attack and hit Absol. Due to his weakened state, Absol was knocked down, although he wasn't KO'ed yet. Ponyta was moving in to do just that when it happened. Ponyta was suddenly hit by an energy ball that seemed to come out of nowhere. The sudden hit disoriented Ponyta long enough for Absol to get up and use Water Pulse. Absol finished Ponyta with another Water Pulse.

Rorohiko saw the look on Kira's face and laughed. "I love doing that," he said. "Nobody ever expects a Dark-type like Absol to know a Psychic-type move, and the out-of-nowhere element of Future Sight only adds to the surprise."

"It was a nice move," Kira admitted. "Of course, I'm not done yet. Go, Lupin!"

Rorohiko looked at the new Pokemon. "Be careful, Absol. This is a new one. It looks like a Ghost-type, which should give you an advantage, but most Ghost-types have a second type. Be ready for anything.

OOC: Your turn, Blanko. Set things up for the end of the battle, but I'd like you to let me end it (I have something special in mind). Don't worry, I'll let 'Drilladon' make his speach as we discussed. There's just something special I want Erivel to do before the battle ends. "Oh, and remember not to end Rorohiko vs. Kira, either.

Kiras eyes were glowing a nice bright red now... Her voice turned to a very wierd voices as if someone else was overiding her voice.

"You lowly human.... Even if you took out Lupin.. I still have drilladon following my every command... like a zombie really... same as this body... Anyways Lupin go!"

The lupin... though new to Kira's team knew exactly what to do. It vanished from view... Absol could not trace where it was. Suddenly bite marks appeared on Absols back and legs. The ghostly pokemon was unseeable meaning unhittable at the time... Absol was hit with a block of ice from no where... and then slashed.

Rorohiko looked around and so did absol... The ghostly pokemon appeared. Absol slashed at it but it went right through as any attack like that would. This pokemon though young seemed to be doing much better... it wasnt wearing down as quickly as the others did.

"Hmm... Why isnt it getting more tired..." Rorohiko said to himself but somehow kira heard.

"You fool... dont you see that This pokemon must have an ability that makes it immune to any other pokemon ability such as intimidate, pressure or such... Honestly... And to think you were smart..."

Rorohiko didnt understand why her voice was different but he did feel he recognised her.

Kiras strange voice rang out, "Ghostly Howl..."

The Lupin howled and suddenly Absol was paralyzed for a short time... And all during this time the Lupin slashed and bite at absol who was growing weaker and weaker.

"Looks like absol isnt all great and wonderful after all!" Kiras voice was even deeper and as if two people were speaking from the same mouth...

OOC: Actually, my intent was to let you do the speach (I don't still have it). As I said, there's somethine I want Erivel to do first.

Oh, and Gyarados's ability is Intimidate. Growlith gets either that or Flash Fire.

Drilladon charged Erivel again, this time prepared for Erivel's attack. he jumped over it, but Erivel moved quickly enough to avoid getting hit. Drilladon kept the drills going, and vanished underground. Erivel didn't give Drilladon time to surface.


Absol managed to shake off the paralisis as Lupin came at him again. He hit Lupin with Bite, but didn't connect with a follow-up hit. Lupin attacked with Water Gun, showing his second type. Absol barely managed to dodge.

"Absol, I think it's part Water!" Rorohiko shouted. "Use Thunderbolt!"

Absol's Thunderbolt connected, but Lupin wasn't finished yet. [i]Damn, that thing's tough,[/i] Rorohiko thought.

Lupin came at Absol again. Absol wasn't able to dodge the Slash attack Lupin used, and fell to the ground again. He wasn't KO'ed yet, but Lupin was ready to change that. He didn't get the chance.


Joy came running out of the tunnel to join Rin and Aria. "Next time, wait," she told Rin. "I'm lucky I picked the right tunnel."

"Sorry about that," Rin apolagized. "Absol wasn't waiting."

Joy looked down at the battles. "What's going on down there?"

"Two seperate battles," Aria explained. "One is a new legendary Pokemon named Erivel against Drilladon, which I'm assuming is also a legendary. Rorohiko... well, Drilladon seems to be with Kira, and Erivel revealed that Absol are decended from him. Drilladon is Erivel's enemy, which makes Kira Rorohiko's enemy. At least, that's how I see it."

The three of them watched as Drilladon went underground. Erivel's spikes began to glow. Then, things started shaking. Literally.


When the ground shook, it took Rorohiko about two seconds to figure out what was happeing. "Earthquake!" he shouted. He returned Absol and ran. Kira returned Lupin, but didn't run with Rorohiko. She seemed to know exactly what was going on. Rorohiko stopped and went back to her. "What the hell are you doing?" he shouted.

"This isn't over," she said. Her voice was even stranger than before.

"It will be soon! This is a goddamn earthquake! And I don't mean the move Earthquake! I mean an actual earthquake!"

"I know. He controls it. He will confine it to his battle."

That one startled Rorohiko. "What?! Controls it?" He paused, then said. "Erivel. Absol's ancestor. Disasters. Of course."

Kira nodded. "Exactly. I was foolish to forget it."

"What?"

Just then, Drilladon managed to get aboveground, and it looked hurt. It wasn't quite done, though. It used the move Earthquake, which was augmented by Erivel's actual earthquake. Erivel was taken by surprise, and took heavy damage. Both him and Drilladon looked about finished, but neither gave up. The two of them charged each other once again.

ooc: Takuya... Lupin has an ability not yet known... have you opened your mind enough to realize kiras method of training has giving her pokemon a little more... different abilities... so not necicerily is it intimidate...

Erivel attacked drilladon with another magma like attack and drilladon was laying there K.Oed... finished... It lay motionless on the ground breathing heavily... but Erivel wasnt finished... Erivel planed of completely destroying Drilladon... but someone leapt in the way.

Kira stood before the legendary pokemon Erivel who skidded to a stop before knocking her over. He glared and said [b][/b]

"Erivel havent you figured it out yet? Its me... Im in this body..." Kira said with that double voice.

Suddenly a large ghostly immage appeared... a black aura linked him to kira... It was a pokemon...

He had a long tail like mew's and his back legs were almost the same. His head was shaped like mew's but his arms were like a mewtwo's... He also had small blades that came from his arms and little spikes out of the top of its head. He was a dark red color... when he wanted to be. He had tiny bat like wings on his back... they werent for flying.

He glared at the Erivel and then held his arms up.

"If you wish to destroy me I am already gone... You have won... Step down..." the ghostly form says... Kiras body merely a zombie standing there like a projector.

"What about this body? And the pokemons?"

"Stop... You have won... Do not destroy this girl and her pokemon for something I did. I know now that not all humans are bad... The humans from my time almost destroy the entire world and they succeded in destroying all my kind. Our dispute can go on no longer! I still dislike humans but I no longer hate them... "

"Because it is the truth... I experianced things through this human... Learned a little about their kind through this girl... They are no longer as they once were... I came here in hopes of telling you this BUT Drilladons aggressivness took over and a fight came through... I must admit thouhg i willingly challenged the boy... One last little battle before i depart this world. I put my sould powers in the pokemon and my emotions in the girl.... I now see as you do.. Now... Its finished..."

With that the ghostly image dissapered and the black aura from kira drifted out... as if a vacume was sucking it out of her... Then some came out of drilladon... The pokemons eyes returned to normal and he looked around as if he just arrived... Very confused. Kira on the other hand... wasnt doing so well.

The soul had left her weak... She looked at Rorhiko and smiled slightly, "I know you now... Your My Mothers sisters kid... We met once at a reunion..." She glanced at the others and passed them by.. she looked at chez and shruged, "I wasnt strong enough... to resist him..."

With that she passed out from lack of energy and strength.

Rorohiko looked down at Kira. [i]I knew she looked familiar,[/i] he thought. [i]However, if she expects me to forgive her actions, she's wrong.[/i]

Rorohiko turned to Erivel. 'It's about time you gave me some answers," he said.

<[b]I cannot do so now. There are other things I must do.[/b]> With that, Erivel left through one of the many tunnels. Rorohiko swore vehemently for about a minute, causing every concious person to stare at him. He didn't seem to notice.

Rorohiko did notice Aria, Rin, and Joy. He got Joy to, with the help of Chansey's Softboiled, heal Absol. Absol would need to rest before entering another battle, but he was quite fine. With Absol healed, Rorohiko turned to Aria. "I'm going after Erivel," he said. Are you coming?"

"Sure. I have a few questions for him myself."

"Then let's get going."


A man watched from the shadows as Erivel departed. He had seen the entire battle, and had also seen Rorohiko. And he knew who Rorohiko was. [i]I have to get back to Trolmont,[/i] he thought. [i]Trolmont needs to know.[/i]

OOC: I'm going to be gone for two weeks on vacation over the holidays, so Blanko gets full responsibility for this RPG until I return.

[color=blue][size=1]"Wait!" Rorohiko turned. "He wants to come, too," Rin told him, motioning to her Absol. "Okay. He can come along." He hopped on his own Absol and they ran off, followed soon by Aria on her Pidgeot. "Ready?" she asked the pokemon at her side. He nodded. "Then lets go," she smiled, hopping on. He sprinted off after the others, leaving Joy and Chez to care for Kira.

The tunnel curved and went on for what seemed like the entire Network. Rin would manage to see the tails of Pidgeot and the other Absol every once in a while. But they'd disappear just as quickly. Rin urged Absol to hurry. To quicken his pace so she could catch up.

He struggled and pulled ahead. Now they could see Pidgeot in full view, except when they went around curves in the tunnel. More she urged the pokemon beneath her, and more his pace quickened. "Com'mon.. I can almost see 'em.." Rin encouraged him. But he was tiring quickly from his sprinting. "That's okay... As long as there are no parts in the tunnel.." she began. But as he stopped, they came to a large intersection of tunnels.

"Shit."

She walked up to see Aria and Rorohiko deciding over which tunnel to take. "Damn it," Rorohiko shouted. "We'll catch up," Aria told him. "Sorry," Rin muttered, walking up to him. "For what?" Aria asked her, Rorohiko still looking at the many different tunnels. "For holding you up those few seconds. Maybe you wouldn't have lost him if I hadn't--"

A large roar was heard. "The one on the far right," Rorohiko cheered eagerly, all three of them pointing to the tunnel. "Let's go!" Rin switched out Absol for Flygon and hopped on as the other two did the same. They all sped off to find the legendary pokemon.[/size][/color]

Drilladon glanced around and saw Kira. He sighed and picked her up in his large claw hands.


"Im sorry Kira..." He said looking around..." I was the one that wasnt strong enough..." Drilladon sat down and stared at his trainer... The realized something. He poked a pokeball by her waist and the Lupin came out again.

Drilladon glanced at the pokemon and it nodded. Lupin began to glow and somehow kira woke up again... Lupin somehow used a recovery move on her and returned himself.

"Are you ok?" Drilladon asks...

"Yes Drilladon...im find physicaly... Im hurt mentaly and emotionaly but ill be fine... You can put me down you know..."

"Oh sorry..."

Drilladon sat her down and she glanced around. Everyone glanced at her as if she was an alien...

"Fine..." Kira said turning around... "Lets go Drilla..."

Up in the corner of the room was a small metal device that had dug its way into the room. Its camera lense focused on Kira and what had happend. It =turned around and flew through its tunnel and got into a small room with no exit. Boulders blocked each exit.

A teenage girl sat in a chair. She grabbed the metal camera and plugged it into a hand held device. She watched the footage and grinned when she saw the ghostly thing appear. There was no sound but it was alright... She didnt care.

"Ah... Kira Kira... Kira... Poor poor thing... Your on our side though. The boss will be please to know your little secret... And your pal there... Boss will be extra pleased to know he is one of the almighty... "

She had bright red hair and wore all black. She was a bit shorter than kira but looked like her. "Well... We shall meet soon... "

With that she returned her two golem and that created holes... The exits were blocked by her two golem. She pulled out a pokeball and released a rapidash and got on its back. She then raced back to tell her boss what she just found out.

ROrohiko and the others found themselves in a very large chamber. There was what looked like an alter of some kind in the middle, and unlike everything else in the Network, it wasn't made out of stone. Rorohiko didn't really notice, however. His eyes were on the men he saw running into a different tunnel. One in particular caught his eye. He knew that man. "Shit!"

"What is it?" Aria asked. She and Rin had also noticed the other group, but they didn't recognize anyone.

"I know one of those people who ran into that tunnel. His name is Victor Trolmont. He's an authority figure in a cult that operates more like a terrorist organization. Among other things, they believe that Satan created certain Pokemon, and Absol's on the list. I've encountered them many times before. They keep trying to kill me, but they aren't very competent. At least, most of them aren't. Trolmont is another matter."

"Why are they here?" Rin wanted to know. "And while we're at it, how did they get in here?"

"They probably made their own entrance. The Network extends under the entire Hoenn region. With the right equipment, it wouldn't be hard to make another entrance. I don't know why they're here, but we can assume that we won't like whatever they're doing, because we won't. Trust me, these people are not friendly."

Rorohiko had Rin land Flygon, and hopped off. "I'm going after Trolmont," he told Rin and Aria. "You two keep following Erivel. Look for his tracks. They should be easy to spot. His paws weren't exactly normal, after all. We'll keep in touch with those communicators we got before entering the Network." And with that, he was off.
