Ok people, let's have a somewhat intelligent discussion about this topic. I want nice clean posts, no spam, no exsessive smilies spoiler tags in places that need spoiler tags. Ready? Ok, let's post.

The topic I hope isn't too general. If it is I appologize because I tried really hard not to do that. The question is of course who is you least favorite villain. Could be male or female. Could be Both. If your least favorite Villain is Zoicite or Fish Eye, then it most definately is both (NA dub joke).

As for myself my least favorite male villain is Nakago from Fushigi Yugi First off I really don't like his hair. What was Yu Watase thinking when she gave a guy, who is supposed to be a cold hearted manipulator, a mullet?! Yeah, that's intimidating! A mullet!

Then he's just a very nasty guy
Yes, he was abused by the emperor and saw his mother killed,
but why not seek therapy instead of using people and lying to them all the time? Would that be so hard? But no, instead the guy had to
lie to Yui about her being raped which would actually make her unfit to be the priestess of Seiyruu, lie to Suboshi (? I get them mixed up) about Miaka killing Amiboshi(?). Abused and then killed another of the seiyruu seven and uses Soi for his own personal pleasure
Basically he's a low life and a loser.

So, there's my male villain I'll do more later. I think.

Ive been waiting for a thread like this!!!!!!!!!! any way ladies first so: the worst female villian would have to be Kagura From Inuyasha. I choose her mainly because she has a bad color scheme and abot 12 obsenitys describe her. She also sounds creepy kinda like a man lady. Now for the male vilian. That would have to be Tohma Seguchi From Gravitation. He's not realy a bad villan but any one who screws with Shuuichi and Yuik's relationship deserves to die die die die...... sorry but under the cute hat and sparkly eyes he is an evil evil man. Tear Tear. :(

Aw, but that's what makes him so cool (or used to, before the manga-Tohma lost his marbles). He's calm, patient and absolutely ruthless.

Least favorite female villain:
Maestro Delphine
from Last Exile. I'm not going to bother spoiler-tagging the rest of this post, since people who haven't reached that point in the series simply won't have any idea which character I'm talking about. Anyway, I absolutely despise her. Granted, she makes a great villain--she is completely amoral, almost to the point of being a flat-out sociopath. She experiences no qualms about her actions; cruelty seems to come naturally to her. To make a long story short, she's very, very easy to hate. I can't even use wallpaper featuring her face anymore because looking at her just makes me angry.

Least favorite male villain: Probably
Lord Bahbem
from RahXephon. If the series has a villain--and honestly, the characters are so well developed that I have a hard time pointing to anyone else--then it's got to be him. Everything he does is motivated by pure, unadulterated selfishness and megalomania. He doesn't care about anyone, not even
Helena
--who despite her inherent unlikeability did sacrifice a lot for his sake. I cheered when he was shot.

Of course, Jadeite also sucks. :p

The Joker is my least favorite male villain, mainly because he's so... cruel. But acts like he's nice by joking about killing people, how to kill them, how they feel while they're being killed, etc. Besides, who could kill
ROBIN?! And several of them on top of that
.

Note: If you know anything about Batman, the spoiler isn't a spoiler, but it never hurts to be safe.

hmmm....least favorite villain...I don't think I really have one right now because I can't think of any. Most teh ones I do think of are cool ones. If I ever remember, I'll post it. Well, maybe it's Naraku in his monkey suit from Inuyasha because it's never him and it's just plain weird looking. Oh, and those two brothers that Naraku made: the one with the purple pink hair and it's brother who is tiny and was inside of his mouth. You know, the ones in that were kept in cages and Inuyasha and Koga both tried to get rid of them. They were both plain weird, especially the smaller one that fed off of people's insides. Does any of this make sense? probably not.

okay this might not be quite a villian, but i hate any type of anime girls who are way too sensitive. expecially those who cry and sigh and whine and whimper and all that type of stuff. it just gets really annoying after a short period of time.
right back to the proper subject...

least favorite male villian- i really don't have a least favorite. I actually tend to like the male villians most of the time. don't know why, but lot of time i find my self liking the villian more than the "hero" as you would call them.

least favorite female villian- i despice Kagura from Inuyasha as well. she gets on my nerves all the time. if she's such a wimp and she want's to betray Naraku then why doesn't he just kill her? I mean it'll be easy and fast and won't make a big mess at all. Kagura is just too rediculouse that you can't even describe how useless and impossible she is. the show would go so much better if she were eliminated.

that's basically it, im really not a hater towards villains

I agree with ice-kitsune on the sensitive girl part. They are very whiny and unbearable to stand.

I also think the reason why male villains are more liked than the "heroes" are that you see too much of the hero's problems and life and it sometimes gets a bit repetitive. On the other hand, for the villains, you don't know much about them and when you figure something out, it is usually shocking or at least interesting. And they are usually the better fighters at the beginning.

I cannot think of a least favorite female villan right now. I'll come back to it.

My least favorite male villains from anime are:

Pegasys (did I spell that right?) from YuGiOh. Because I didn't really understand why someone didn't just order a hit out on the man, for crying out loud. A good sniper and no more of that high flung idiot. He worked my nerves so much when I first watched YuGiOh. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to his actions...he would suck people's souls into cards because he could.

That purple guy - you know, Vegeta's boss - from Dragon Ball Z. Granted, I view DBZ as an anime soap opera and tend to avoid it like the plague. but this guy....well, let's just say that for the first 7 episodes I saw him in, I though he was a she.

I tend to love villans ^^ especially really evil ones. They are the most interesting characters to me. I dont think Kagura is all that bad.

Worst Male Villan : Definately have to agree with ChibiHorseWoman, but then I got to thinking. Since hes the only villan i really despised, that makes him an awesome villan right? the mullet, the hair, the difference between them, and all his tricks. Who annoys me even more then him? Naraku from Inu Yasha. Chasing this stupid guy all over, he hardly ever fights for himself and has to have his minions do his dirty work. Now if it was me, I would just fight head-on. But yeah.

Worst Female Villan : Coming Up with this one soon....

Will wonders never cease... I just thought of a female villain whom I loathe even more than Last Exile's
Maestro Delphine.
Ichinomiya Fukiko is perhaps one of the most important characters in Brother, Dear Brother (Oniisama E). Miya-sama's decisions have a huge effect on the protagonist as well as on many other members of the cast. Yet she's capricious, seems to harbor a secret fondness for random acts of cruelty, and manipulates people like there's no tomorrow. Because of this, her romantic obsessions and penchant for melodrama are utterly unsymphathetic. I loved Saint-Juste--I even liked Mariko--but Miya-sama is just despicable. Granted, I was still very interested in learning about her past and so forth. I suppose that speaks for the quality of the show as a whole.

So says the girl who spelled 'wrong' wrong...oh and first.

Since the names are originally written in Kanji there is no set romanji spelling..., which is why Koga can also be Kouga, Shippo can be Shippou and Tenou Haruka can be Ten'ou Haruka ect ect.

Oh, and I can't stand Koga either, he's so damn arrogant and makes fun of InuYasha being a half demon yet he ran away from Naraku and got his butt handed to him by Kagura.

I so agree with you on both counts. I despise Pegasus fully so I'll just create a little list about him that I hate

- The hair ( What is he, some dude with terrible scars. Not a artifact instead of an eye)

- His Voice ( He needs a voicebox job. It is waaaay too high Pitched and girly)

-His way of Talking ( My god he has to get better pet names for the characters

- Him not having a life ( He is a grown man, about 40 and he is playing with cards. Not Poker Cards but actual kiddy crap.)

- HIs 'Secret' Weapons ( How bloody many secret cards did he create?)

-His part in the storylines( Could they chose a crappier villian. One reason why i hate this crap)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And to make things short about Freiza, I belive he is a girl for christsakes, And I am not changing my opinion. ( I also avoid DBZ like the Plague, Kiddy Crap)

Hmm... Villains eh? Well considering I'm brand new to this board, I'll post something to break the ice. Now, let's see. Although, I find him attractive, I'm going to have to say Millions Knives. He's intelligent, yes, I'll give him that much, but as for strategizing and planning, he went about it all wrong. Also I found him to be very pompous, which as a evil-doer is not normally very good. As a villain you're supposed to make the good guy underestimate you so that he expects nothing and then BAM! He?s blown away by your amazing ability to be evil.

Knives walked around with his head held high, but in the end he was a sissy little boy with a low pain tolerance... La--ooz-ier.

As for the female side, gee... that?s difficult. .. I'd have to say Yumi from Rurouni Kenshin. Again, Attractive but that woman had HUGE self-esteem issues. You can't have too much confidence, and you have to have at least some. She was beautiful, but jealousy turned her into a wench when she wanted so badly to help Shishio with his plot. Pathetically enough she could only accomplish it through... Well, I'm not spoiling anything... but it's pathetic... not a very good female villain -_-... if you could even call her that
