The Darkness

I really want everyones input on [U]The Darkness[/U] , which is a rock band (I dunno what genre...some kind of metal going on there I believe.) they are the band who did "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" and when people don't know who they are I'm like "They sing "I Believe In A thing Called Love" " and they usually say something like " Ooo...with that guy who sings like a girl?". Yes, Justin Hawkins, the lead vocalist is very high pitched but alot of people just say he sounds like a girl 0.o My personal favorite song of theirs is "Love On The Rocks With No Ice"...their CD is awesome I got it for my b-day and would reccommend it to anyone.

That's what I'm talking about. And I love how that one guy can go from singing normal to singing really high instantly.

Plus, any group that includes giant teddy bears in their videos gets props from me.

The Darkness rocks my world.

Some of the subject material is a little wierd, heh [Growing On Me, anyone?] but at the same time, they're catchy tunes. Besides which, I don't know many people who could go so high, hehehe. [COLOR=Indigo][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial]The Darkness have an absolutely amazing live show, I can tell you. Even if you hate their music, it's hard not to get swept up in it all when they're performing. And they're the only rock band I know who's lead singer does a costume change mid performance. XD

Apart from their live show, I like their music but I don't think it's astounding. The falsetto can really get on my nerves sometimes, lol.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
