Lady Asphyxia
I did do a quick check to see if it had already been brought up, but apparently not. So; Franz Ferdinand, what do you think? Personally, I love the band, heh. The self-titled album Franz Ferdinand is just so much fun. One particular song always makes me jump up and dance around the room. They were apparently going to appear in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie, as the Weird Sisters. However, since then, they had to pull out because of commitments, and now Javis (The 'Pulp" lead singer) and Johnny Greenwood (the Radiohead guitarist) will be in the movie, so Franz Ferdinand can concentrate on recording their second album -- which I'll definately be buying! The track list of the first album goes like this: 1. Jacqueline 2. Tell her tonight 3. Take me out 4. The dark of the matinee 5. Auf achse 6. Cheating on you 7. This fire 8. Darts of pleasure 9. Michael 10. Come on home 11. 40' And I particularly love Jacqueline, Take me out, and Michael. What I love about this songs is the catchiness of the tunes, and the lyrics aren't too shabby, either. ^_^" So, yeah. Opinions, comments, etc. Anyone seen them live?
KarmaOfChaos
I love Franz Ferdinand. I was watching some documentary thing or something on them, and they quoted something the lead singer (I think) said, about how they were just trying to make music that people could bop their heads and dance to. They've certainly achieved that with this album. I honestly can't listen to one single track on the whole thing without bopping my head a couple times and doing a little mini-dance. Like Asphyxia said, their tunes are extremely catchy. Great jumping around dancing to music. My favorite tracks would have to be Take Me Out, Michael, Jacqueline, Auf Achse, and Darts of Pleasure. Good stuff. -Karma
Juu
I went to a gig with them in it just a few days ago! They're overwhelmingly amazing live, and their charisma is just mindblowing. x.x I've got a few video recordings and a full mp3 recording of their act if anyone's interested. :) Anyway, my favourite songs from them are 'Michael' (eee!!), 'Tell Her Tonight', 'Take Me Out', 'The Dark of the Matinee', and 'Jacqueline'. They gave us a new one that was quite good also. It had 'young' as part of the title, but I'll have to listen to the recording again. =x

Idiot2.0
I've only heard one of their songs 'Take me out', and I loved it. I also liked their music video for it. If I wasn't so poor I'd buy their album in a heartbeat, or go to one of their concerts. Basically all I have done is summarize the above, but I wanted to get my thoughts out.
Queen Asuka
It's really rare for me to buy a CD of band if I haven't been a fan for a LONG LONG time. But I bought this CD. And I really liked it. But one day I wanted to listen to Audioslave and so I took it out and set it aside. Now I can't find it. It's been missing since, and I've cleaned my room plenty of times. I keep hearing it being played around me in my apartment complex, so I have this theory about someone stealing it... >.> I'm sure it will turn up eventually. ^_^;
