[font=Franklin Gothic Medium][size=2][color=darkorchid][i]A king in his black armor, sat on his black throne. Rubbing his hands through his once black hair. It was obvious that by looking around his castle, that black was his favorite color. He even had his servants paint the eggs from his chickens black, too. But right now, he could care less about the color black. His kingdom was falling apart. A stone from the the ceiling fell down in front of him. It was literally falling apart. An invading army, led by a mighty hero who wanted to make a name for himself, was tearing it down around him. But that still wasn't what was worrying him. His only hope of an heir to rule after him, was a tiny, frail daughter. Also, his armor was a bit itchy. But mostly, he was worried about how his daughter would be able to take over for him when he was gone. Asking his wise magician, Oosoo, what to do, the old man suggested opening a portal and sending the king's daughter through to make sure that she would survive. The king agreed with the plan, and gave Oosoo permission to carry it out. Oosoo did as he was told, and sent the daughter through the portal. He would've suggested that the king go along with her, but it was only powerful enough to allow one person to travel through it, and Oosoo didn't exactly know where it would lead. (But he didn't tell the king that, for fear of being executed.) The castle collapsed, just as the portal closed.[/i][/color][/size][/font]

[font=Franklin Gothic Medium][size=2][color=darkorchid][i]Now, in a small town sometime in the future. Lives the evil king's daughter with a loving family. She has no idea who she used to be, or who she's supposed to become. In fact, she doesn't even know that the people she lives with aren't her real parents. But on her fourteenth birthday, she's been noticing some very strange things happening. Black cats and crows have started to follow her. She sees strange shadows out of the corner of her eye, but when she turns around they're gone. And her body has started to change as well. Her skin is becoming paler than it usually is, and she's starting to get black rings around her eyes. Also, some of her friends have said that she's getting a bit creepier. So, will the king's daughter awaken and accept who she is? Or will she throw it all away in order to keep her new life just the way it is? But the daughter isn't alone. Some of the hero's knights and magic users have followed her to the future, and are living in the bodies of others, waiting to be awakened. In response to this, Oosoo managed to send some of the king's warriors to help the princess. Like the hero's men, they are trapped in other bodies as well.[/i][/color][/size][/font]

In this rpg, you will play as one of Toba's (the princess) fellow students. But you can choose if you want to be against Toba, as one of the hero's men waiting to be awakened. Or with her, as one of her protectors. You will decide when the spirit inside of you becomes awakened, and if you want to follow its agenda or not. And one last thing. I know this sounds like an action rpg, (which it kind of is,) but if you read the opening again, you'll notice that it's going to be a bit light hearted as well. So keep that in mind. Personality: Quiet, unpredictable, and a bit of a romantic on occasions. (Didn't make it too long since it's optional.)
Bio: Daniel was born, quite frankly, an average person. Growing up he was a little quiet, but was never short on friends. His grades in school were, and still are, never below a B, but hardly ever higher than an A-. He happened to meet Toba and the girl carrying her spirit when he was twelve, but never really got to know her. He still sees her in hallways or across the street and such, but never really thinks much of it. As far as his love life goes, he's the kid that always dreams about falling in love and ends up going unoticed. But it doesn't bother him. He lets himself dream.

Semel was one of the King's peronal protectors. He worked for him for many years, but if you asked anyone, they would say they've never seen him near the king. Semel considers himself an artist of shadow. Though he is rarely seen, he was always near the king, ready for anything. Unlike most guards, he wore no armor or official signature. After several years, Semel became personal friends with the king and eventually earned the nick-name Jiko. Just a year before the princess was sent into the portal, Semel was assigned by the king to be her personal guardian. The infant child was hardly ever aware of his presence, which was exactly how he liked to work. His spirit is very close to awakening. Already it stirs within Daniel.[/COLOR][/FONT]
