They soon became friends, but their friendship quickly became something more...But their love for each other seemed so natural, that they didn't think anyone else would think it wasn't. Chika and Hoshi didn't hide their feelings for each other, until their parents found out. Hoshi's parents were a bit more supportive than Chika's, but both of the girls still got in trouble. After that, they only talked to each other secretly. But one day when they were in the middle of an embrace, Chika's father walked in on them. His hobby was rebuilding swords, and in his rage, he threw one of his swords at his daughter without saying a word. With their last breath, Chika and Hoshi shared a final kiss. Panicking, Chika's father tried to hide all of the evidence of his hasty murder, but he didn't do a very good job of it and was later executed for his crime.[/i][/color][/size][/font][/center]

Love still exists now, but it's taken a backseat to things like hover skates, virtual reality, holomovies, and more. By an odd coincidence, on the anniversary of Chika and Hoshi's death, a new game is being released. Its name is Uriana. It's a freeform action VR that's supposed to be the most realistic one ever made. (And by an even stranger coincidence, the headquarters of the creators of this game was built on the land where Chika's and Hoshi's houses once stood.) Its cockpit even takes care of all of the user's physical needs, allowing people to play it for weeks if they wanted to. To celebrate its release, the creators of the game have even set up a special two-part contest. In real life, people have to search for a special video to give them a clue of where to find a certain badge in the game. Whoever finds this special badge and puts it on, will win a character with a level higher than any other player's. (The character that the creators used to test out the game.) But what the company hasn't mentioned, is that the game has been acting a little strange lately. They didn't want to spend the money, time, or trouble to pull the game off the market, so they've just never mentioned it. But why would they kill some of their own employees just to keep a secret? What could they be hiding, and is anyone in danger? Whatever it is, the students of the well known Wishing Well High will soon find out...[/i][/color][/size][/font]

Takashi started WWH a few years ago. He had high expectations to fufill when it came to his schoolwork, as well as his soccer. Yes, Tak was an avid goalkeeper, has been for quite some time. With all of his time previously taken over by work and soccer, he had no time for love. That all changed a week or two into his first year of high school.

He met a girl names Hiroko. From day one, they were fast friends, always with eachother and talking to eachother. Everyone suspected a relationship, but Tak and Hiroko denyed it. One day, however, they both confessed to eachother that they loved eachother.

On that day, they began what would become their 2 year relationship...but not all was well. About a year and a half into it, Hiroko had a secret second relationship. When Tak found out about it, he was destroyed. He sunk into a deep depression and thought he would never come out of it. Still today, he is searching for a love that will last throughout time, and a way to recover from his tragic heartbreak.

[b]Thoughts on Love:[/b] Ranma is a free-spirited individual, embracing love in all forms. He is accepting of homosexuality, though the thought of finding himself in bed with another man is enough to make Ranma physically ill. He is somewhat in love with one Togumi Kiri.

[b]Bio:[/b] Martial arts and video games make up this enigmatic young man's life. Learning to wield a sword exceptionally well at an early age, Ranma's mother introduced him to the world of VR Gaming. Ranma, being an adept martial artist, knew how to let his mind free and excelled at many role-playing games and action games. It also furthered his training in his martial arts.

One day, however, an accident occured with the BC Gaming Coproration's latest release, Knight's Field. Ranma and his mother entered the game, which somehow bonded to the mind of the gamer, making what happened physically real. The game's difficulty was impossible for Ranma's mother to handle. She died of a heart attack with her son mere inches away from her. Ranma suffered minor injuries and found his mother dead upon ejecting the cartridge.

He's moved on, though the scar on his cheek would never fade from the angry red it almost seemed to glow all the time. Ranma now focuses on his schooling and martial arts, though he is still a master at video games. He's intent on winning this contest, as though it will help bring some peace to his mother's spirit.

Appearance: Tall, but sickly thin and pale. Commonly mistaken for a skeleton. Has short blond hair (helps with the pale look), and green eyes. Always wears small glasses, blue jeans, and a bright colored shirt.

Thoughts on Love: Too much thought, not enough love. Doesn't really love anyone (yet) but understands that love begets love, so until he loves someone or someone loves him, he's pretty much neutral.

Bio: Since Ichiro's early ages, he's been into gaming of all kinds. A real thinking kind of person, RPs have always been his best, but he's a challenge for anyone at a fighting game too.

Not able to really fight back in real life, he proved himself in defense. A bully once tried to beat him up and started by trying to bring his arm around his back, like a police officer would. This ended terribly, as the his strange bone structure allowed Ichiro to twist around and put his boot to the bully's face.

Nobody tries to fight him, but he's not intimidating to anyone either. He enters the contest to try and bring out the best in himself, which has never happened before. Several of his friends are also entering, and he sees this as an opportunity to beat them all.

Thoughts on Love: "...Love?...I dunno, maybe. It'd be nice, I suppose, but I don't think it will happen." he says, before shrugging and walking away.Genosuke has very little confidence when it comes to women, often becoming tongue-tied around the fairer sex. He feels that noone will really love him, and he's come to terms with it, simply shoving his hands in his pockets and moving on.

Bio: Genosuke is a fairly egnimatic character is school. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, couldn't carry a tune in a bucket and isn't particularly physically gifted (sportwise, that it). He is quiet and reserved, preferring not to try to grab the attention he so desperately wants. He's been at Wishing Well High since he was 14, but has made few aquintances and even fewer friends. His homelife is almost non-existant, both his parents are wealthy business owners, and are either out at some meeting for the night, or are too tired to spend time with him.

He's just barely managed to scrape the grades to make it through the school, struggling on simple assignments, but he doesn;t want to ask for help, as he feels there are "people who need help more." He has tried to ask out a few of the girls in the school, but normally gets too tongue-tied to get his feelings across, and so oppurtunities are always missed and chances pass by. His parents bought him one of those fancy new VR capsules for his birthday, but he has little inclination to use it as of now...

Thoughts on Love: Yuki has long thought that love is non existant. And this was not caused by a horrid experience or a secret love full of tragedy. No, Yuki has just.. never been an "emotional" type of person. She believes in lust, the search of pleasure. The "feelings" family members feel for eachother is more like a friendship, in her opinion. She herself gives into lust on occasion, but does not go too far. Normally, she lusts after boys. But a relationship with a girl does not scare her. She is single, and would prefer it to stay that way, but as of late...

Bio: Yuki never had a strong relationship with her parents, or anyone else for that matter. She was never competetive, and was never as "perfect" as her older sister, Shishira. But she did have something her sister didn't. Sex appeal. Constantly lust after, and always having someone on her arm, Yuki was considered one of the most sought after girls in school. Never in a serious relationship, Yuki was never "hurt" when her beau, at the time, left her or cheated on her. She didn't feel love.
