Kotoku woke with a start. Another of them was born, she could feel it... It wasn't just a dream, true betrayal had been done while she slept. Great, now there's another one of... Them...

She slided out of her smooth sheets and took a deep breath through her nose, remembering Alex. "Is he... Still here...?" She went slowly down the stairs, taking each step one at a time.

"Merow" Aisuru(The cat) rounded the corner and brushed against her legs, startling her.

"Oh, it's just you, hon'." She stooped down and picked him up and stuck her head in all the rooms downstairs, trying to locate Alex. She looked out her front door window, and Alex was out there sitting on the porch swing, deep in his thoughts. She opened the door slowly and walked silently toward him, sitting down.

"Hey, Kotoku. Have a good sleep?" Alex broke his blank gaze and smiled at her.

"Yeah. Thanks for comforting me. Umm... I had a wierd dream... Only, it wasn't a dream, but it was like a vision, only I was asleep..." Kotoku stopped before she confused herself too much.

"Really? What about?" Alex asked.

"Well, there was one of... Them... and there was a kid... The demon-thing... Tried to kill him I think... I can't remember anything else, only I got this wierd feeling of darkness... I think he joined them... I had this aweful feeling and then I woke up..." She shook her head.

"Wha... Are you sure?" Alex's pupils shrunk and he stared at her.

"Umm... I'm pretty sure. I've never had a dream like that... I'm sorry, I have to think... Would you mind if I went to the library? I'll try not to be too long. There's food in the fridge, and hundreds of cups of Ramen in the cupboard, you can help yourself. I want to see what literature has to say about this..." She stood up and entered the house to retreive her bookbag.

"I don't mind if you go if you don't mind if I go with you." Alex certainly wasn't letting her go ANYWHERE alone right now.

"Umm... Alright. I'm hoping it was just a bad dream... I had a dream before that I swore was real and it wasn't, remember? Beings with white wings falling from the sky... And then all thier wings turned to black... That never happened. I'm sure everyone would notice if hundreds of people just fell from the sky." Kotoku smiled at the thought it might just be a dream after all.

Yeah, I remember. That wasn't a dream, Kotoku, that was portraying the purity of the angels when they entered earth... They entered into temptation, into greed, and some succumed to defeat by it. Pure beings turned dark to some degree... Exactly like your 'dream'. Alex thought. She had some powerful sixth sence. Where that will come into play, noone yet knows, but it was starting to become clear that she meant more than the average human.

"Let's go." Kotoku emerged from her room seconds later, she had re-dressed, brushed her teeth, and washed her face.

"Alright." He opened the door and they both left, deep in thought.

-A good while later, at the library.-

"Hey Ms. Kyosuke! I brought back all the books you lent me!" Kotoku ran up to the front desk to an elderly woman and pulled a large stack of books from her bag and handed them to the woman.

"My favorite costomer. Hello, little miss Minaru." The elderly lady smiled and took the books.

"Do you have anything on..."

"Demons and beings with wings? I think you've memorized all of my mythical creature books, miss Minaru." The elderly woman looked at Kotoku with an odd expression of amusment and annoyance. "In fact, you've probably memorized ALL the books here."

"Okay, Ms. Kyoskuke. I'll just look around, then." Kotoku sighed.

"Who's your friend?" Ms. Kyosuke leaned in and whispered, "Nice looking kid, is he your boyfriend? You two'd be cute together."

"N-n-no! He's a good friend and I'm lending him a place to stay. His prediciment is similar to mine to some degree. His name's Alex."

"Is he obsessed with demons and dragons too, then?" She shook her head.

"No, he believes me, though, but he's not obsessed." Kotoku smiled.

Such a small amout you know, Kotoku. *Sigh* I wish I didn't have to keep a secret from you... "Hello, Ms... Kyosuke, is it? My name is Alexander." He smiled at her.

"Well, go ahead and look around, then. I'm sure you two have things to find. We close in and hour." She handed Kotoku a small shiny key "But knowing you, Kotoku, I'm sure you'll be here a while longer. Lock up for me when you're done."

They walked away from the desk and Kotoku thanked the lady. "You have alot of friends, don't you?" Alex was impressed with how many people trust her that much.

"I get around. This isn't even the library I have a paying job at. This one has a larger selection, though..." Kotoku started flipping through books.

"I see." Alex did the same, not really paying attention, though.

Gabriel moved down the street quickly hearing one of his own fall into submission before the feet of the fallen. He didn't make it in time seeing only a gathering crowd of onlookers complaining of a skirmish between two men and a teenage boy.

"Maybe he stole something from them." One of the on lookers spoke but Gabriel new it was something more fundamental, and much more serious.

He moved into an alleyway quickly and he fkew off without a warning. Not weary of any straggling passerbyer or other eyes that saw him move in magnificent form. The nearest Angel lair wasn't too far from him about a two hour fly if he stayed near the surface but that was too much time. He knew that if that newly converted really knew of the Angel Lair that it would be in no time that the information was discovered and used against the others who were fighting this battle along with him. He flew up into the sky. His wings beating furiously His eyes pointed dead ahead moving high into the sky. Skimming the highest layers of the atmosphere and then coming down with a fast swoosh. He was freefalling again his wings pressed close as he shot back down to the earth.

THERE! He said to himself and moved in the directions of distance mountains. He spread his wings allowing them to catch the lowere winds and slow his decent. He landed quickly and moved to the entrance not taking his time to present himself. But the guard new of him and allowed him in.

Everyone in the room looked at him and one angel rose, seeing Gabriel's face. The angel held out his hand for Gabriel to shake who just took it and left his hand there.

"One has just fallen,"he spoke solemnly. "They may now the location of the main base. They need to be warned and moved."

Tabris arrived back at his apartment in Shinjuku only to see his answering machine flashing. "That...can't be good." He hit the play button.

"You have two new messages. Message one..."

"Tabris, you said you would call me last night! You scum..." He hit the delete button.

"Message deleted. Message two..."

"Tabris, we have a problem. It would appear that an Angel by the name of Marcus teamed up with Gabriel and eliminated Azariel. Now, about fifteen minutes ago
Mutuol and a human by the name of 'Z' converted Afriel. They spared him only because he agreed to take them to the Main Lair. Hope this doesn't interfere with your plans for this weekend. Bye."

"This message was recorded at 4:26 P.M."

"Great, not even enough time for dinner."

Tabris left his apartment and headed for Lucifer's mansion.

Alex always liked to read books. He was very interested in the human imagination. To create there own worlds within there minds...just as God did when he created the heavens and the earth. A trait that so many humans took for granted.

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ''move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible with you.

Exposed...learning new the knowledge that God deemed necessary and proper for them to advance themselves in life. Trying to make sense of the world around them...

Oh how innocent humanity is...for they have no idea how far away from the truth they really are...

As he was skimming a book full of Da Vinci's creations...*those he had actually seen in person* reminding himself of the old days...where life was much simplar; he felt a sudden change in the air.

Oh my...another one has fallen to Mutuol; Afriel...the angel of purity, youth, and prosperity. I remember him...a bright young lad...but....

''Damn trator...how I despite how you all can be so weak!''

''Alex...was that you I just heard...'' Kotoku came running around the corner into the asile of books that Alex was in...

''SSSHHHHHHH...'' she motioned as she put her finger to her lips...
''Did you forget that this is a library my dear...'' whispering still to Alex as she came closer him...

''Forgive me...it was nothing. I was skimming through one of these books and was reading one of the stories in it. A warrior betrayed his king and...''

Giving Alex a quick hug and squeeze...
''Oh...you poor baby *slightly giggling*...tis only a book. None of it is real. Come with me...I want to show you something.''

You have no idea how real it is my dear...

''Coming...I'm really sorry for making such a ruckus Kotoku...''

''Forget it...don't worry about it...'' she took Alex's hand and they both skipped in the direction she was leading them.

If Mutuol has taken on of the angels without killing it...they may be able to get information from him. They may already know the location of the Angels main base. They may need help...

''Hey...I said don't worry about it, don't go all quite on me now...tell me of the story that you were reading.''

''Ok...fine fine you little twirp *similing*'' he reached around with his right hand and gave her a quick tickle underneath her armpit as she let out a bubbly giggle.

''Hey...Alex...stop...hehehe...that tickles.''

''Be quite up there you two...this is still a library!'' yelled out Ms. Kyosuke from the desk.

''Sorry Ms. Kyosuke...we'll behave.''
''See now you got us in trouble'' still laughing:)

Oh Kotoku, if only I was one of you...I wouldn't have to worry on my own like I do. If Gabriel and the others need my help...they know how to find me.

Then his thoughts drifted off to what Ms. Kyosuke said earlier downstairs. Neither one of them knew that he heard them whispering.

Me...a boyfriend...I don't think that she likes me like that anyway he thought to himself...Even if she did, I couldn't possibly...

''So...are you gonna tell me that story or what?''

''Of course...''
Maybe I can share my world with her...without her knowing about me...

''So...where shall I begin...''

Ending up at her home, Heaven felt strange when she had touched Gabriel's hand. It was as if a strange force was pulling her towards him, but at the same time she feared what would happen. Not wanting to think about anything, Heaven walked to her bathroom.

"I think a nice, hot bath is in store for me today. Maybe a bit of music and that's it." Looking down, a white cat and a black dog, came up to her. "Hello, babies. How are you? Yeah, yeah, you're hungry."

Before settling into her bathtub, Heaven walked to the kitchen and poured her pets some food and water. She petted the cat and dog and smiled, knowing they would be there when she needed them the most. She sighed and walked to the bathroom, closing the door behind and turning on the radio.

Sprinkling bathsalts and bath soap into the bathtub as it ran with warm water, Heaven stripped herself of her clothes. She turned the water off and stepped into the water lightly. She then slid down and let herself become consumed by the water and music. Closing her eyes, Heaven's mind began to conjure up memories, memories that Heaven had never before seen...until now.

"You are going soft on Gabriel..I'm very disappointed, Lucifer dear," Mutuol shook his head.

"Nonsense! How dare you utter such words!" Lucifer's face turned various shades of red.

"There would be no need to yell if it were in fact dishonest," Mutuol caressed Lucifer's heated cheek with the back of his hand.

Mutuol stood a good foot and a half above Lucifer. She glared up at her servant, her teeth bared her anger at him.

"However, it does not matter to me. You know what you are doing," Mutuol pinched her nose, "right?"

Lucifer sighed, "Yes, Mutuol. I know exactly what I am doing. And I am not going soft on Gabriel. I will slaughter that damned angel."

"Oh, but there's a problem there. Gabriel is not damned. We are, silly girl," Mutuol planted a swift kiss to her cheek then spun around to meet up with Z.

"Mutuol!"

"Yes, yes. I am going after this Marcus, don't worry," Mutuol waved over his shoulder.

He walked out of the council chamber and sauntered down the hallway. A pretty maid turned the corner to brush against him.

"Lord Mutuol, please forgive me! I didn't mean-" the maid bowed politely.

"Fear nothing, pretty maid. It was a mere accident," Mutuol lifted her chin, "Now, run along and attend your mistress."

The maid smiled in gratitude, bowed, then hurried away to her chores. Z was standing in the garden entrance way. The garden bloomed in pinks and vivid purples. Vines of jasmine and sweetpea hung lazily from arbors and trees.

"Hey buddy," Z glanced over his shoulder, " didn't know Lucifer loved gardens. There all over the grounds."

"Yes, just because she's the Queen of Darkness, it doesn't mean she wouldn't adore beauty," Mutuol stood beside his friend.

"Beauty is right. But what do I know about beauty? Heh," Z pushed himself from the door and shoved Mutuol into the statue behind him.

"Hey now, you punk!" Mutuol jumped on Z.

The two wrestled hard. Pinning and head-locking eachother. Their laughter was echoed about the mansion, luring Lucifer out to watch in amusement.

"Boys! Must you continue this in my house? You'll break something!" Lucifer laughed.

The two stood up, Mutuol wrapping an arm around Z's neck. The two smiled like a couple of children trying to be innocent.

"Sorry, Mistress. We'll get on with the mission now," Z winked and headed for the main entrance.

Mutuol followed.

Hm...Marcus, right? This should be interesting...

As Lucifer walked back down the hall she couldn't help but laugh. Those who were nearby were surprised because it had been a long time since she actually laughed. It had also been a long time since Mutuol had been around. He had been the only person who could lighten the mood enough for her to make things bareable. That's why she liked to have him around and why she made him one of the council.

As she walked she decided to pay a visit to that child and Mana. She entered the room and saw Mana standing over the bed where the child was lying.

"So how is it doing?" She asked.

Mana whirled around quickly. "Oh, My Lady, you surprised me. It's alright but I don't know why you insist on letting it live."

"Sorry for the surprise. I only insist on keeping it alive for that kid, Z who hangs with Mutuol. But I can sort of understand that all Humans deserve at least one chance."

"It could be so." Mana replied, "I still don't understand it though."

"Don't worry. Neither do I really. It's something that's slowly coming to me. Maybe one day we will understand it fully." And with that Lucifer left the room.

"Alex, you're so sweet... Thanks for being my friend." Kotoku smiled as Alex shut the burgandy book at the close of the story about a king and his armies, and the betrayal of one, and how that one meant all the difference.

"Yeah, it is a pretty good story." Alex had already picked up another book and started thumbing through it.

"You know, I don't know what I'd do if I ever were to lose you. You and Aisuru are my only real friends." She leaned in and whispered, "Without you, my best friends would consist of random librarians and employees at coffee bars."

"Yeah, really? That's hard to believe, you're a great friend." Alex didn't realize how lonely she was. He knew it must be hard to be a human without going to school and having parents, but Kotoku seemed to have it more difficult...

"Noone cares how good of a friend I am, they just think I'm a nutcase." She gave him a hug and said, "Even though I have seen plenty to make me not believe so, I know there's a God out there. That's the only thing that makes sense, too... You're alot like my... Guardian Angel." Kotoku prayed a silent prayer...

Dear God,
Thank you for all the blessings you give me, for the strenth
to get on with my life everyday... For all the people that give
a kind word. And thanks for Alex. He's the best friend I could
ever have. Oh, last but not least, thanks for putting up with
my mindless banter day in and day out.
Amen.

"Kotoku..." How odd... It's amazing how very close to the truth she truly is...

"But you're hiding something... I can tell. You don't have to tell me anything. I don't know what it is, but I know there are things you aren't telling me. I love ya' all the same, though." Kotoku stood up and grabbed his hand, "We have to find some more stuff on the goings-on of stuff." She went this time, over to a spot two shelves over.

"I'm sorry..." Alex and Kotoku were now sitting on the floor in front of the shelf, books everywhere.

"Nah, I still mean it, I think you're the best friend I could ever have. There are plenty of things about me you don't know..." Kotoku put another book in the 'done' stack and picked up another off the shelf.

"Really? Well..." Alex didn't know what to say. Did it really count as a secret if it was to protect her?

"Well, I think we've done about all we can here... Besides," Kotoku glanced at her green/silver watch. The glowing numbers read 9:54 p.m. "I'm about to be late for my job at the library... The other one. I put all the books where they go after everyone leaves."

"Alright." Alex started putting the books back where they go. "May I come with? I could help you."

"You wouldn't get paid ^^" Kotoku laughed and gave him a quick hug before finishing up.

She always sees everything sunny-side up. That may be what I like so much about her... Alex and Kotoku left the building, Kotoku showed Alex that she even knew where the hide-a-key went, and left the key there.

"Wanna stop at Kino's and get some coffee before work?" Kotoku asked.

"Sure. When do you have to be there?" Alex yawned. He wasn't tired, he just yawned for no apparent reason.

"Well, I'm supposed to be there at 9:30, but Satoshi never tells the boss unless I'm there after 10..." Kotoku shook her head.

"But... You'll be late, then, won't you?" Alex looked at her quizzically.

"Yeah, well, Sato most likely won't tell the boss anyway. He'll cover for me. I cover for him, too, it's just what we do. He's kinda creepy, though." Kotoku smiled.

"So you're just expecting him to do your job so you can get coffee?" Alex patted her on the head.

"Pretty much. Hey, Kino! You're actually workin' today?" Kotoku yelled to a rather gruff looking man behind the counter of a coffee bar across the street. They waited for the light and crossed the street.

"Koto, whacha doin' in the city this time a night? You need ta be a little more careful, hon, you gonna get ur self kidnapped or somethin' and I can't afford ta lose my best customer!" The man reached over and ruffled Kotoku's hair. "Who's yer friend? You gotta date, hon?"

"N-n-no! He's my best friend Alex. Alex, meet Kino-san, Kino, Alex." They shook hands and Kotoku smiled. "Kino's been kinda like a dad to me since... Well, we'll have two coffees to go, Kino, we're in a bit of a hurry." Kotoku slapped a thousand yen on the counter.

"Nah, hon, you keep yer money. I know how harda worker ya are, ya need it moren' me, thas fer damn sure. It's on the house." He handed Kotoku two drinks and her money.

"Thank you so much, Kino-san." Kotoku started to bow, but changed her mind halfway and reached over the counter and gave him a hug.

"Aw, ya don' need ta thank me, Koto. See ya later, hon." Kino waved at them as they left. "Good kid she is. Good kid..."

"You seem pretty close to him. When'd you meet him?" Alex sipped his coffee.

"I've known him... Since he gave me a job when mom died. I still work there. Employee of the month thirty-six months and counting." Kotoku punched the air.

"Is this the library?" Alex pointed at a large grey building they were standing directly in front of.

"Yeah..." Kotoku pulled a gold key out of her pocket and unlocked the door, entered, and locked it back up.

"You're almost an hour late, Minaru-Senpai."

Kotoku and Alex wheeled around to find themselves face-to-face with a tall, rather young looking man. He wore glasses and had brown hair, he was rather good looking, and he wore a black suit.

"Oh, Sato-kun, long time no see..." Kotoku pointed at Alex, "This is Alex."

"A boyfriend?" Satoshi crossed his arms.

"NO! Oh, sorry, I mean, he's my best friend." Why does everyone think he's my boyfriend >///< What's up with that!?

"Ah... Well, I didn't tell the boss you were late. I really wish you'd make more of an attempt not to be tar-"

"Thanks, Sato-kun! You're the greatest!" She blew him a kiss and yanked Alex over to a bin full of books. "This my friend, is how I spend my evenings." She picked up a stack and darted around, putting things on shelves.

"Wow, you really are efficient." Alex noted, looking for the number on his fifth book. Kotoku was already on her third stack.

"I try." She smiled, easing a huge book into it's space.

-An hour and a half later.-

"Alrighty then, we're done ^^" Kotoku took a deep breath.

"You may go home now if you wish." Satoshi sighed. He had been typing things on the computer behind the counter the whole time.

"Hey, Sato-kun, what's on your mind? You look perturbed." Kotoku leaned on the counter.

"Well, I have to find an apartment by next week. I'm 18 then. Mom and Dad won't let me stay with them any longer." Satoshi brushed his hair out of his eyes.

"Well, I wouldn't mind keeping an eye out for a place." Kotoku replied.

"Hey, Thanks." Kotoku smiled and turned to leave "Minaru-Senpai! Wait a minute, I found this book you might like..." Satoshi tossed her a quite large leather-bound book with it's title engraved in gold, 'Beings of the Earth and sky'

"Hey, thanks! Is this the library's?" Kotoku turned a few pages. "And you can call me Kotoku"

"No, it's just something I found at some old store with odd knick-nacks in it. It's right beside that new electronics store on 2nd. You can have it." He slid his laptop into a bag and stood up.

"I think I'll check it out. C'mon, Alex, I think it's time to leave." She looped her arm through his and dashed to the door, "Sato-kun, you'll lock up, right?"

"Yeah. You go ahead."

"See you later!"

"Kotoku, you know all these people, and they all like you, why don't you have more friends? Why are you always alone?" Alex stared at the ground.

"You mean like Ms. Kyosuke and Kino and Sato? They're all co-workers and parent-like-people. They only put up with me out of pity. Well, I think Sato may just be a bit scared of me. And I can't very well 'hang out' with Kino, you know. Nor Ms. Kyosuke. They are nice people, but just not... People I ever see outside of work, really. They have thier own lives. That a good enough answer?" Kotoku smiled. She always smiles.

"Yeah, I guess."

EDIT: Well, I just realized (seeing Blayze's post) that I read the entirely wrong post as I thought I had..so, major editing..

IC:

"Okay buddy," Z sighed heavily, annoyed, "I'm getting tired of walking back and forth. I feel like I'm chasing my fucking tail."

Mutuol smiled at his irritated friend; only fueling Z's temper.

"Patience, Z. Trust me, we are definitely going to see some action," Mutuol pulled on his leather gloves.

Mutuol's body was covered in skin-tight, black garments that were pieced together with various sizes of buckles and zippers. His trench coat and gloves were the only garments he donned as leather. His black hair whipped about in the gusts of strengthening winds.

"Is it me, or did it just get windy all of a sudden?" Z scratched his head lightly.

"They know we have Afriel," Mutuol purred, picking up his pace.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Z scrambled to keep up with Mutuol's graceful strides.

Nightfall soon chased the fading sunlight into the midsts of the horizon. The life of the city roused, oddly enough. The city streets were not pleasant to roam during the day light as it was. No matter, Mutuol was happy with the darkness; it made it easier for him to see. Z was pleased as well. Night time brought out fights, street racing, and bars were open until dawn. Neon lights illuminated the littered sidewalks, sending warm glows of extravagant colour to reflect off of the puddles.

"You gotta love this," Z took in a deep breath.

"Yes, it is fascinating. You see a completely different pallet in the night," Mutuol looked up at the flashing billboards.

An onimous spark caught his attention. A scream was echoed, but was quickly masked by a clap of thunder. The streets remained as they were. People cared less, continuing as if nothing was heard. Mutuol glanced back to the skylight building to see the glow of a flame. A snide smirk pierced his frozen expression.

"Uriel," Mutuol bolted into traffic.

Throwing his coat to the ground, his massive wings expanded and fanned. Z close behind him, swearing at him.

"You damned Angel! You know I can't fly!"

Mutuol laughed and grabbed Z by the wrist, "Hold on, Z."

With a single bound from a car's hood, Mutuol gave a powerful flap of his wings. The two soared into the night sky. The wind flowing over Mutuol's ebony feathers, sending chills down his spine. He loved to fly and rarely had the chance. Mainly due to human eyes, and Z's incapability of flying. But Mutuol was not turning his nose at this opportunity. He beat his wings furiously, his hand tightened aroun Z's wrist.

"Holy shit!" Z gripped Mutuol's arm with his other hand.

"I told you to hold on!"

"This is awesome!" Z yelled in laughter.

Mutuol smirked and flapped faster, sending the two high above the building. But to Mutuol's dismay, Uriel had vanished. Mutuol gently eased himself and Z the rooftop. He stared down at a corpse he assumed to be angel. His assumption was correct due to the wings that were bulging half-way through the body's back.

Mutuol plucked a silver roseary from the corpse. He held it at eye level, staring at the crucifix that spun slowly.

"And to think that I was to be his predecessor, " Mutuol curled the silver chain and glass beads in his fist.

Z placed a hand on Mutuol's shoulder, "We'll get 'em. I promise, we will."

Mutuol stood and turned away. He uncurled his fist and glared into his hand. The crucifix and beads glittered under the billboard lights. Mutuol dropped the roseary and crushed it under his heel.

"We leave now, Z," Mutuol's wings spread once more.

The Fallen Angel glanced over his shoulder and wing. He felt something. A flare of anger. Z walked up beside him and peered over the edge.

"Aww man..this is going to be sweet!!" Z yelped, "C'mon, Mutuol."

Staring back at the billboard, Mutuol squinted one eye. Marcus..Come out, come out wherever you are...

(Sorry I haven't posted for a while, I feel suitably ashamed)

Uriel flew back to where Lucifer was waiting. He landed, and folded his wings away. He walked slowly over to where Lucifer was sitting.

"URIEL!" she shouted as he walked into the chamber, "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?"

"I'm sorry I deserted Damien, mistress, but matters of some importance came to my attention. I found a source of unimaginable good energy, and I thought it may be the Key."

"And was it?" Lucifer seemed to be getting excited now.

"Unfortunately, no. All I found was an angel."

"And did you kill it?"

"Of course. I wouldn't find an angel and then not kill it, would I?" he replied with some sarcasm.

"Well, at least tonight wasn't a complete loss, then. Are we any closer at all to finding the Key?"

"I believe we have made some progress, a view that only very few share with me. But even killing angels brings us closer to gaining re-entry to Heaven, by destroying some of the opposition."

"Very well. Go out and continue your search, but this time, stay with Damien. The last thing we need is for some human to see you and have to be destroyed."

"Thank you, mistress." And with that, Uriel left the room.

Gasping for breath, Heaven suddenly opened her eyes and saw images of things she has never seen in reality, only to know as fantasy. With a sigh, Heaven stood and drained the tub and once again, turned the water on, only to shower herself with the lukewarm water that splashed against her skin.

As Heaven rinsed and lathered, she began to think of the reoccuring dreams that she had several nights in a row. She always thought it to be by mere coincidence, but somehow, just somehow, it seemed to be more than that. It was as if someone was trying to tell her something, trying to give her a sign. Shaking her head, Heaven turned the water off and wrapped herself in a pale blue towel. She then dried her hair from its drenched stated and wrapped a pale blue towel around it as well.

Walking out of her bathroom, she entered her bedroom and picked out her home clothes, grey sweats, black shirt, and fuzzy grey slippers. She dried herself off once more and placed her clothes upon her. Once done, Heaven walked out and looked at the glass doors. Something compelled her to walk outside and look into the sky. Suddenly, a scream was heard but no one else had heard it.

Gasping for breath, Heaven held tightly onto the rails and looked around rapidly, wondering what had caused that scream. She began to breathe heavily and walked back into her house, leaving the door open. Strange things have been happening and Heaven did not know why.

Uriel sat on the rooftop, this time with Damien at his side. He didn't like Damien. His obsession with holy items irritated him no end, the same as it annoyed Lucifer.

"So, you've got to stick with me this time, Gatekeeper," he said tauntingly.

"Shut up, Damien. I would work much better without your continuous interruptions. We are close to the Key, I can feel it."

"Oh good. Finally we are making some progress."

Uriel watched the street below, seeing people come and go, until he saw the one he wanted. A young girl, no older than sixteen was walking along the street, in a subdued manner. She was wearing many talismans and lucky charms around her person, as well as some baggy trousers and a rather strange hat. Her skin was very pale, like she needed to be out in the sun a lot more. Although Uriel couldn't really comment on having pale skin, as his was very white.

"She contains much good energy. She is not an angel, so it is possible that she is the Key."

He swooped down into an alley, folded his wings away and walked calmly out of the alley. Damien followed suit, and they left the alley and trailed the girl together. They followed her into a small building, where they would make their strike. They followed her in, and as she was walking down a long corridor, Uriel reached out and sensed her power.

"She is powerful, indeed, but she is not the Key. The Key is somewhere else, someone else, in this city. We are getting ever closer."

"Well, that's excellent, Uriel, but we need results now, otherwise Lucifer may destroy us both."

"Lucifer will not destroy me, I am too valuable a warrior, and you make up the numbers of our ranks. She will not kill either of us. Now let's get back to her before daylight."

He unfurled his wings and flew away.

After the short flight back to earth Z was still frantic about it.

"Woo! I'm telling you, Mutuol! That is about the coolest thing in all of eternity!" Z rang out to the world.

"Really, its not that great. Its just flight...Haven't you been inside an airplane before?" Mutuol said, crossing his arms.

"Uh..Well..No."
"Well, its the same thing."
"No way! In an airplane I can't go 150 miles per hour with my hair on fire!"
"You're right. You go about 500 miles an hour."

Z slapped his forehead then ran a hand down his face and let out a deep sigh as his hand came down.
"You know...I really do hate you. You ruin everything."

Mutuol laughed and slapped Z on the back, the hit pushed Z foward into another passerby. Z pushed himself away from the person who was then greeted by gun to his face.

"What punk?! Push me again and see what happens! I'll blow your fucking brains out!" the punk look serious, but his grip on the gun told otherwise.

"Look kid, if you want to be damned to a firey pit of hell for all of eternity then keep waving that gun around like a fucking moron, but if you'd like to leave with all your teeth still intact then put the pea-shooter away and walk off" Z turned serious, and he lowered his hand to his right side. Mutuol on the other hand stood back and looked on with crossed arms and a stern look..like always.

The punk's left eye twitched a bit, and his grip tightend on the gun. He was ready to pull the trigger, and so was Z.

"C'mon kid. Make a move. I promise you that you won't leave with your life." Z quickly drew his submachine gun and pointed it at the youngun.
"Ready?"

The punk narrowed his eyes and began to pull the trigger on his gun. Z was quicker. The punk fell into the gutter of the street in a hail of bullets and blood, everyone in the near vicinity fled from the scene. Z quickly replaced his submachine gun and turned to Mutuol.

"Scared for me there, Mutuol?" Z said with a grin

"Actually, yeah. I was afraid that mortal would take your life and I would have to banish your soul to the deepest pits of hell" Mutuol said to Z almost serious

"You would do that to me?" Z asked, whisking up the punk's weapon and sticking it in his belt-line.

Mutuol shook his head and turned to walk down the street once more. Z quickly started to follow.

"Well? Would you?!" Z was anxious for an answer he knew he may never get.

"Well? Well?" Z, five blocks later, questioned.

"Well, what? Z, you are really starting to get on my nerves," Mutuol half chuckled.

"Are you going to tell me if you'd actually cast me to Hell?" Z kicked at a trash can.

Mutuol slouched then stopped in his step. Z slowed to a hault, he made sure to keep a distance. The angel slowly turned to face his friend, then walked up to him. Z instinctively took a step back. Mutuol, in slight amusement, took Z by the scuff of his shirt with one hand and pressed him against a brick wall; his other cupped Z's chin lightly.

"Z, I wouldn't be here if it were not for you," Mutuol caressed Z's face, "I could not cast you to Hell."

Z tried to utter a few words, but none escaped. Mutuol smiled with true care, and love. He released Z and continued on into the streets. Z stood, dumbfounded and dazed before running off after Mutuol.

The two walked in silence, the occasional citizen throwing a few words. But neither of the two acknowledge this. Z was a tad uneased by Mutuol's gentle touch; Mutuol uneased with himself for revealing that much of his feelings to Z. A strong pain surged through Mutuol's temples, sending him to his knees.

"Mutuol?!'' Z crooked his arm under Mutuol's.

"Who was that..." Mutuol gazed about, only to stare into darkness.

"Yo, I didn't see anything hit you," Z looked Mutuol over to see if there were any wounds.

"Why are you even looking, Z? You know I can heal my wounds," Mutuol clasped his forehead.

The angel pushed himself from Z's arms. He searched the sky and ground for the energy that shot through him. It was a pure energy. So pure, Mutuol's black spirit felt soft. He frantically looked about, searching for the energy. Z on his heels.

"What's up? Another Angel?"

"No, Z. This is much more," Mutuol smirked.

"Agoriad?"

"Yes. The Key is near. And the powers are becoming too much for the mortal to handle," Mutuol massaged at his temples again.

Z, as if he could help, looked around as well.

"There! That apartment buidling," Mutuol gripped Z's wrist and took flight once more.

"Y'know, you ought to warn people when you do that!" Z shook his free fist.

Mutuol ignored him, keeping his concentration on a single, opened balcony door. Softly, silently, Mutuol eased himself and Z onto the balcony. Before Z could even think of saying something, Mutuol's had clasped over his mouth. Nodding, Z kept still.

The balcony door swung softly in the night breeze. Sheer valance cloth whipped and swayed. The room was dark and quiet. Mutuol peered inside, scanning the room for any sign of movement. He turned to Z and removed his hand.

"I'm going to take a closer look," whispering lightly, "Stay here and watch for them."

"Gotchya. But Mutuol, what happens if I see one?"

"I don't care what you do to get my attention, just do it quickly," with a playful grin, Mutuol slipped behind the valance cloths.

Not a sound could be heard. In fact, if one were to drop a grain of rice, it would wake the sleeping beast. Mutuol stepped lightly over objects on the floor. His vision slowly adjusted properly and allowed him to dodge a chair and table. As he edged near to another door, Mutuol ran his fingers along the wall. The energy pulsed like a heartbeat. The waves sent shivers throughout Mutuol's body. He curled his hand around the door frame and slowly looked into the room.

It was a simple room, from what Mutuol could gather. A full-sized bed, desk with a chair, dresser, closet. Nothing spectacular. Slyly, Mutuol entered the room. He sifted through objects on the desk. He gazed about to find any sign of religious belief, but found none. So, Mutuol decided to use his natural ability to sense. He closed his eyes and followed the source of energy. He stopped whenever his head throbbed unbearably. He opened his eyes to look upon a young girl sleeping. She tossed slowly and turned on her side, facing Mutuol.

He jumped back, expecting her to wake. But to his relief, she breathed softly. Curious, Mutuol knelt beside her bed. She was beautiful, naturally beautiful. Her skin so fair and flawless. Her lips shaped like a heart parted slightly; again, causing Mutuol to jump back.

"..no..please don't hurt.." the girl mumbled.

Mutuol chuckled, removing the glove from his left hand and grazing the girl's cheek. She remained motionless.

"So, Agoriad-" Mutuol traced the girl's face.

"MUTUOL!" Z's voice broke ice.

Mutuol silently, yet swiftly fled before he could find out if the girl was going to wake. He leapt over the same table he nearly ran into. Z pointed down into the street. Mutuol followed Z's hand to a lone figure that stared back at them.

"That's just to fucking creepy, Mutuol."

"How long has he been there?"

"About five minutes."

Mutuol nodded, looked back to see a light turn on.

"Damn," Mutuol grabbed Z and took to the air.

"Who do you think he was..?"

"I don't know.." Mutuol glanced back at the]street.

The figure was gone.

Gabriel stayed around the half-way house/ mini base for the rest of that evening while the angels there readied the message relayed it and moved out. Many of the were eager to see Gabriel looking towards him studying his face. He spent most of the time staring into a fireplace not noticing the many scars or other injuries that the angels had. But he did know of them. He heard their names spoken and remembered the many stories of their torture, their fighting and the wa they were beaten. Their wills upheld them and their fellow angels rescued them.

A few faces he remembered healing as their body was covered with blood and sweat. He not the best of healers did help, many times he sought revenge. He peered into the fire and looked as the blazes and embers played with one another. The heat fanning the embers up and away the flames moving in a chaos he didn't wish to understand. The crackling of the wood didn't bother him. It sort of sang to him. The energy wihin the wood being given off to provide him with warmth.

"Gabriel.."

He snapped out of his daze and looked at the angel talking to him.

"The move is underway. We are also leaving this base behind so please, let us leave."

Gabriel nodded his understanding and left witht the last of the angels.

"We are moving to the other coast sir. Here is our location." The angel handed him a small scroll and Gabriel pocketed it. "We are the first to move. The other bases will follow suit in a day or two. Please come to us when u need that information. Also..."

The angel went on with the info as Gabriel nodded and showed his understanding. His mind quickly assimlating it into his memory but not really examining the revelance.

After he was finished the two of them shook hands and Gabriel walked along the roadway. The others in an attempt to look more human took their cars and left. The last of the cars disappeared and he kept walking. His senses taking in the nature and clear air of the open area. Tall trees surrounded him and the sea, only a few miles away beckoned him. The sun was hidden behind clouds and the wind began to blow harder. He got a bounding start and his wings opened quickly shooting him into the sky. He began to fly again and began a new search. He needed to find Marcus. He had to pass on the information of the bases being changed.

Heaven wandered out of her bedroom, looking about to see who would have entered her home and noticed she had left the balcony window opened. Her dog would not near the area in which the stranger had entered. Something bothered him about the scent in the air, the same went for the cat. These two creatures were so parallel with each other that the two knew exactly what the other was thinking.

Walking towards the balcony, Heaven took a glance outside and closed the door and curtains, allowing nothing further to enter. Her dreams, or nightmares as she would call them, progressed to become more-like premonitions of some sort. It was as if she was watching a movie of herself, only to find that she was not there in body.

Sighing, Heaven could not sleep, and in doing so, turned on the T.V. and watched late night shows. Her dog and cat wandered away, knowing that Heaven was disturbed by her dreams. What Heaven did not know was that these two creatures that she had since the time of birth were in fact two guardians who were sent to protect the Agoriad at all costs. Agoriad should never be returned to its rightful place or all hell shall come loose.

Hearing nothing within the apartment, Heaven assumed her pets were asleep. She sighed and walked to her computer, turning it on and opening the glass door, replacing it with the screen door. She looked outside once more and turned to her computer, but quickly moved her head back. A figure disappeared when she had turned to look at it.

"What is going on in this town? Wait! I could use this in my story!" Opening her chapters, Heaven looked through and found the place where she left off. "Alright, she was out of breath when she had arrived at the Sanctuary. She entered and knew not what to say to the others. She was out of breath and out of strength to go on. She looked back only to see a dark figure, standing in the shadows, looking down at her."

The girl kept at this for quite some time. Her animals were, in fact, not even present at home. They had wandered off to find those who could answer their questions. It was their duty to protect Agoriad and that was what they were to do, if it even meant death.

Lucifer was pacing her room again thinking of where the other's could be when suddenly Damien and Uriel burst into the room.

"Haven't you ever heard of knocking before entering," She asked.

"Sorry Lucifer," Uriel responded, " but we have some urgent news. We found agoriad."

"Really? That is excellent news.!!" Lucifer exclaimed.

AT that moment Z and Mutuol burst through the door.

Lucifer threw her hands up inot the air. "Geez doesn't anyone knock anymore?"

"Sorry." Z said, "But we have some news about the Key."

"You two? Well this is excellent news"

"Agoriad is a girl of similar age to Z." Mutuol said. "I'm sure she was the key but there was also an angel watching the girl's window."

"This could be a problem but I think I already have a solution." Lucifer said a thought coming to mind. Z since she is about your age I want you to get to know her. Find out if she really is Agoriad. Is that okay with you?"

Z hesitated for a moment.

"You don't have to decide now but I want to speak to you alone."

Uriel, Damien and Mutuol left the room. Z felt uncomfortable being left alone with Lucifer. After all though she was nice she was the princess of darkness.

"You don't know this but there have been many keys throughout history," Lucifer began. "The first was Jesus. The man who was supposed to be the son of God. The possibility of him being the son of God was just a misinterpretation by him. He was not the saviour of man but was meant to be the saviour of the angels. He failed at his task and many others have followed him. Now one of the side effects of being the key is to have some unusual powers which usually revolve around what you humans think of as miracles. I want you to get close to her so we can be sure that she is the key." Lucifer paused for a moment. "You don't have to answer now but get back to me."

As little children would do, Mutuol, Uriel, and Damien all glued their ears to the door. The words were muffled by the thick, heavy oak. Uriel and Damien pushed and shoved at eachother to get a better position.

"Will you two children stop? I can't hear a thing," Mutuol growled lightly.

The two stood up and uttered a few curses at Mutuol before leaving. He ignored the two and concentrated on Lucifer's and Z's conversation.

"Z, since she is about your age, I want you to get to know her.." Lucifer's voice echoed in the empty room.

Mutuol gritted his teeth. Deciding he had had enough, Mutuol clenched a fist and walked down the hall. His ebony wings bulged under his trench coat, anger arousing them from his back. His released his fist and stood in front of a similar door to that of the council chamber. It was Afriel's door. Mutuol sighed and rasped on the smoothed section.

"Lord Mutuol, please come in," a young maid bowed and opened the door.

Mutuol nodded and entered the room. Afriel's room was nothing but luxurious. Decored in wine-coloured red tapestries and golden inlaid furniture. Mutuol gazed about the room and walked towards Afriel's bedside.

"How is he holding up?"

"Very well, m'Lord. He had a temperature, but it has died down," the maid brushed a cold rag over the newly fallen angel's forehead.

Mutuol nodded in content and sat on the bed next to Afriel. The angel groaned, his eyes flittering to wake. He sat up slightly and looked at Mutuol.

"M'Lord, hello," Afriel rubbed at his eyes.

"How are you feeling, Afriel?" Mutuol handed the young angel a glass of water.

"A little..afraid," Afriel stared into the glass, his face softened into deep thought.

Mutuol smiled softly, patting Afriel on the shoulder, "Do not fear anything, young man. The Fallen will take care of you. Say, are you feeling up to take a trip with me?"

"You mean, just the two of us?" Afriel squeaked in slight excitement and fright.

Mutuol chuckled and stood up. He picked up a stuffed animal, a bear, and plucked at its dainty clothing.

"Yes, just us. Z has been assigned otherwise," Mutuol nearly gagged and tossed the bear over his shoulder.

Afriel stared after Mutuol for a moment before taking a drink of his water. The maid quickly picked up the stuffed animal and set it in its place. Mutuol tapped his thigh with a fist and glanced at Afriel.

"Lord Mutuol..can I ask you something personal?" Afriel traced the rim of the glass with his index finger.

Mutuol nodded and sat down at the foot of the bed. Afriel set his glass on the nightstand beside the bed and sat up fully.

"D-do you love him? I don't mean to pry or anything," Afriel quickly defended, "I am truely sorry, m'Lord."

"Ah, sweet Afriel. There is no intrusion," Mutuol chuckled, "I do have a strong affection for Z. He was the one who nursed me back to health. He's never left my side in the past two years. He's been so loyal and protective.."

Mutuol's voice drifted, "So, to answer your question; Yes, I do love Z."

Afriel smiled softly, "Where do you plan to go?"

"The Angel's Lair. Afriel, I'm going to need your complete honesty and cooperation," Mutuol spoke sternly.

"Yes, m'Lord. My loyalty is to Lucifer," Afriel's eyes glew a dim blue.

"Good, good. Get dressed and meet me in the rose courtyard," Mutuol rose and left the bedroom.

He swiftly passed the council chamber and walked out into the soft rain.

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in so long. Vacation >.<

Kotoku paid the young woman behind the counter for the blank talismans and other odd things. She then piled all of the items in her arms, denying a plastic bag as it is bad for the environment to discard of them, and walked out the door, vision only slightly obscured by her large purchase.

"Have a nice day, miss Kotoku." The woman behind the counter waved.

"Tell Shinji I said hi, 'kay?" She didn't wait to hear an answer before she let the door fall back into place. She sighed. The main reason she'd come up to this over-priced shop was in hope of seeing Shinji. He used to be her best friend, when they were young. They grew up across the street from each other and were never seen apart. She'd missed him since he moved across town. He never came to see her anymore, and she didn't know where he lived, or where to meet him except his old work place.

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" a girl no older than Kotoku with purple hair and a short purple skirt dashed toward Kotoku as she rounded the corner. Neither saw each other and they collided, talismans everywhere. The girl quickly stood up and kept running. The street got all hazy and everyone around her dissapeared, just like when they met the demon. The girl fell to her knees and tried to un-sheath a short purple katana from her side, but a tall dark figure appeared and knocked it from her hands with a long weapon, Kotoku couldn't see it. Odd purple feathers grew from the girl's back and formed wings. She tried to take off, to no avail. The figure sliced her in two with one fell sweep of his weapon. It then looked over it's shoulder at Kotoku. It started to speak, but she passed out before she heard what it said.

Next thing she knew she was laying in a white bed with beeping monitors all around her and a curtain blocking her vision.

"Kotoku."

"Where am I? I'm in the hospital... But the girl needs help, not me! She needs..." But then Kotoku remembered the severity of the blow... There was no way she was still alive. But that wasn't what bothered her the most... It was the wings... She must have been one of them... But that would mean they kill each other, too... The girl didn't seem evil, though... So there are good ones and bad ones? Maybe. Kotoku didn't know. "Who are you?"

"My name is of no importance. You've been through much, Kotoku, I am here bearing good news." The curtain dissapeared and behind it was only lightness and a winged figure. The bright light blocked his face from her. A warmth came over her. "There is good and evil in this world. You've experienced much evil, yet you haven't succumbed to it. So much temptation, yet you haven't fallen to it. It is said in verses of the scripture that the Lord will not allow you to be tempted beyond you can bear, but when you are tempted, he will provide a way for you to stand up under it. Your way will show itself soon enough. There is good still in this world, Kotoku, and there are more creatures then just earthly creatures walking this land."

The boy dissapeared, and Kotoku drifted off into a peaceful, demon-less sleep.

Uriel and Damien had left Mutuol alone with Afriel, and walked sulkily down the corridor. They left the stronghold and flew to the city, in search of some action. They went to Agoriad's house to see what she was like, and to see if they could grab her.

They watched through the window for a long time, before realising that the Key was just a human, doing normal human things-washing her hair, cleaning her teeth. They sat on top of the building opposite the Key's apartment block, bored.

"I'm going to grab her," said Damien. He looked as though he was about to move, when Uriel stopped him.

"No. There may be angels watching, even protecting her. If we are going to grab her, we need to do it together." They both got up, and dropped off the top of the building, into the small garden in front of Agoriad's apartment building. They were sneaking across the garden when a voice rang out.

"Fallen ones," it said, "Cease this attempt to kidnap the Key."

They turned around, and saw a group of six angels standing looking at them.

"Who is commanding us?" asked Uriel.

"Kirtan, captain of the guard," replied the lead angel.

"Well, Kirtan, you are going to have to stop us," said Uriel, his wings folding out from his back to their full span. They were about ten metres wide when stretched out, and blood red. He was a fearsome sight. He drew his sword, and flames wreathed around it. His eyes flamed as well, burning with hatred for the angels.

Damien got ready to fight, and the angels drew their weapons, and charged at the two Fallen...

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted. My computer was broken.

IC:

Damien: "Do you always have to be right?"

Uriel: "Yes."

Damien: "Okay. You take care of the soldiers. I'll go after the captain."

Uriel: "Right."

Three knives came out of each of Damien's sleeves and landed in his hands. His bat-like wings stretched out to full length, following Uriel. Uriel flew at the angels, while Damien flew into the air, followed by captain Kirtan.

Kirtan: "Betrayer! You shall pay penace for your sins!"

Damien: "Betrayer? I have betrayed no one. I've only been following my creator's orders. To suggest that I follow your God would make you a hypocrit."

The angel was growing angry.

Kirtan: "Enough talk. It is time to send you to Hell, where you belong!"

Kirtan swung his broadsword at Damien with a vertical slash. Damien lifted his left arm and used his knives to deflect the stike. He then raised his right arm and with a flick of his wrist threw three knives into the angel's left arm. Kirtan let out a scream of pain and flew back to recover from the blow. Damien tugged on the strings and pulled the knives back to his hand. Kirtan let out another scream as the knives left his arm. With one arm the angel sliced through Damien. A smirk appeared on Kirtan's face, quickly turning to shock as the demon changed into an angel.

Damien: "Killing your own soldiers. How digraceful."

Kirtan: "An illusion? You deceitful bastard!"

He started to move when Damien raised his hands, holding six wires in them. The captain looked down, realizing that the wires were wrapped around his body. Damien pulled on the strings and swung the angel around. He then let go, launching Kirtan toward the ground. Kirtan collided with the ground, creating a large hole, conveniently about six feet deep. Uriel had just slashed through the last angel.

Damien: "And you thought this was a bad idea."

Uriel: "Shut up."

"You know, Minaru-Senpai, you are quite the sleepy head. Even with war circling this very street you remain asleep." Kotoku blinked groggily up at a familiar boy with brown hair and wire-rimmed glasses.

"Sato-kun! What are you... How did you know I was... Where's Alex..." Kotoku couldn't seem to finish her sentences, so a seemingly annoyed Satoshi placed his hand over her mouth.

"She just died."

"Who just... What are you talking about?" Kotoku leaned back and took a large gulp of air.

"The girl you saw. The one slashed in half. What you saw must have been some sort of prediction, an image of the future." Satoshi pushed his glasses up his nose. "The war is already begun.

"How do you know...?"

I see them as well. More often so than you, I'd say. Lately though, I've heard only voices. Your voice mainly, and your boyfrie... aquaintance. I'd rather not say this, but you're rather thick for such a brilliant one."

"What do you think you're..?!"

"He's right in front of your face, yet you don't see him. He's made his way into your heart, yet you don't sense who he really is. You think about him all the time, yet you lack the knowledge of anything about him." Satoshi sneered in disguist.

"I still don't know what you're talking about. What about a war? And how did you know about the girl? She was already dead, I saw her die! Right in front of my eyes!" Kotoku sat up abruptly and glared at him.

"Fine, don't listen to me, but you'd better not come crying to me when your whole world comes tumbling down." He stood up to leave but nodded his head toward her as he pulled open the curtain. "Watch your back. There are more creatures on earth than earthly creatures."

"That's what... He said..." She layed back down. She didn't understand any of this. She wanted it all to just go away. What does Sato-Kun know about them? Alex seems to know more than he lets on too... Why do I see these things when noone else can? What's different about... Me? Why did they single me out? Who... Or WHAT rather, is the dark figure that haunts me? Who was the winged figure that I saw earlier? Nothing makes sense anymore... It has gone from a haunting shadow to a dark cloud threatening to consume everyone around me... Why...?

"Minaru Kotoku?" A tall muscular young man eased the curtain open and let himself in. "Who was the young man whom I saw leaving moments ago? You are not stable enough for visitors. You need to be more careful. Witnesses who called 911 claimed you collapsed and started screaming." He checked something off his clipboard.

"I need to leave now, sir." Kotoku sat up again. "My friend doesn't know where I am. He'll be worried about me."

"No, you won't be leaving for a while yet. You need to be more worried about yourself than your friend." He smiled.

"No, you don't understand, there's a war, and the girl died, and..." Kotoku's head was spinning. she closed her eyes and saw two people on a rooftop... Dead bodies surrounded them... Dead winged bodies... "No... They've killed more of them... I need to find help! Satoshi can help! Let me out of here, sir, this is a matter beyond your understanding!" Kotoku took a minute to think about what she was saying. The doctor no doubt thought she had brain damage now. "What I mean is, I've had another dream. My friend helps me sort out what they mean. I don't feel bad at all, I think I'll be fine if I just leave now." She flashed the doctor an award-winning smile and tipped her head to one side expectantly.

"I don't know about that, little miss Minaru. You should stay and rest. Oh, the young man who came to see you dropped off this book. It went through security and checked out, so I'm sure it won't matter that I give it to you. It is... Distubing, though..." He held out the book Satoshi had given her. The disturbing part was there was a number written on the front... 756. It was written in blood.

"Thank you very much, sir." Kotoku flipped through to page 756 of the obnoxiously large book. On the page was a bunch of fine print, and pictures... The page spoke of creation. Bibolical creation. It spoke of many things from the scripture. Many biblocal craetures, mainly. One thing caught Kotoku's eye. A passage about Lucifer and the angels that chose to betray thier king. Outlawed beings who've survived the fires of hell yet they still remain among the world, and it spoke of the angels attempting to defeat the evil and protect God's creations. It caught her eye not because she at the time realized that passage was prominent, but because it too was circled in blood. It all made sense now. The war, the demons, everything.

"I need to leave now!" Kotoku didn't feel like arguing anymore. she stood up and was dressed in a matter of seconds, and she had passed the doctor and was running toward the door before he was any the wiser.

"Get back here! You can't leave yet..." His voice trailed off. The next thing Kotoku knew, she was at her house (Which was consiquently only a 2 minute walk from the hospital)

Garbiel yelled into the sky, probably cathing a few clances ad he stood on the rooftop. It had been one of many towns he checked recently looking for Marcus. He only felt traces of the Angels power as he swooped quickly over the city. He also felt a power that was familiar but thought it was just his imagination playing with him. He felt it a few more times along with Marcus' and only shook his head.

It cannot be you my old friend.

He kept flying trying to catch up with the power but to no avail. He glanced over the streets once again and soon stopped seing a young man lay beside a building. The face was new but as the kid opened his eyes the force within them felt familiar.

Gabriel's heart almost stopped and his hands reached for the kid. Is it....

He drew the hands back as the kid rose and looked at his surrounding. He was obviously happy to be back but as he moved he stopped as well and looked around.

"It is you." Gabriel whispered and dropped into an alley way. The young man kept looking around feeling Gabriel's power but he was unable to tell if they were good or evil.

Gabriel soon stepped from out of the alleyway and the kid immediately looked over to him. His eyes locked on Gabriels face and nodding as he acknowledged the angel.

"Alex!" Gabriel smiled and moved over to Alex very slowly keeping the young man;s attention and watchin for any stray traffic. "Alex!"

They finally were faced to face Gabriel only a few feet from his old friend.

"Hello old friend," Alex responded reaching out a hand.

"Hello yourself," Gabriel took the hand in his own giving him a firm shake then wraooing a quick arm around the young man patting him ont the back then pulling him away getting a closer look at him.

"Goodness," Gabriel started his features softening dramatically as he gazed over Alex. "How long has it been?" Gabriels face broke a wide grin as he looked over Alex again. Happy to see his old friend present.

" I didn't think I'd see your face ever again." Gabriel continues.

Alex only grinning and shocked at how Garbeils calm and gentle nature had yet left this tough angels spirit.

"It is good to see you again Gabriel."He said clasping Gabriel's shoulder. "Please let us go inside and chat for old time's sake."

Gabriel nodded and smiled still. "Yes let's."

He removed his hands away from Alex and walked behind him as they entered the house.
