Wake up Trini, she began to toss and turn in the bed, feeling her body wreathing underneath his strikes. He stood above her his hands hitting grabbing at whatever flesh it could.

WAKE UP! She knew it was a dream but she couldn't tear herself away he pulled at her hair, he slapped her, blood began to run from her mouth. He dropped her head and she pulled herself into the fetal position. He began to yell. She could only cry. Her tears and sobs crowding her senses drowning out the things he was saying. Soon he stomped out of the apartment, slamming the door behind him and locking the door.

She woke up with a startle and looked around her room. The pain she was feeling came back suddenly reminding her of the earlier situation. The crash, the ship. She heard a cackle, and could only shiver before laying back in the bed. Her past. The one thing she tried so hard to escape was coming back to her.

Her began to remember the other times. The Bladerunner mission she saw him along with tonight. And then earlier, before their shiip had crashed she saw replayed events.

She cursed herself for coming back. But knew she couldn't leave. The things going on had drawn her in too deeply and the people she had shared a close bond with were also here. She smiled thinking about the times they joked together. Tears crowded her vision. She wiped them away promising not to become emotional and felt the scar on her forearm. She looked at the four long slashes in her skin and touched them lightly.

Her head went back to how she got them and her fingers rubbed over the slashes. A shiver went up her back as she continued to stare at the dimmly lighted ceiling. Another light cackle was heard but she knew it was all in her head. She felt the force invade her thoughts searching for a weakness.

You want to see him again don't you. The voice, her own spoke out to her.

"No, I don't. It's over. I'm done with him." She closed her eyes hoping that her inner being wouldn't respond.

Yes you do, She felt herself smile and them a weird smirk came upon her face. Trini's eyes closed slowly and opened again. Her voice began to change. Don't worry about it. The voice began to deepen. I know you want to see him.

Trini shook her head and listened on. I know you do. Because Trini....

The voice deepened and became very familar. She felt a light hand touch her face, but saw no one around. She began to breath deep as his face came into view.

I want to see you, too. His face was very close to hers and his eyes were looking dead into hers. His lips pressed on hers quickly, as she closed her eyes. She reached up and tried to push him away but opened her eyes and felt no one there. She looked around the room and saw no one. Van wasn't there and she was in bed. She felt her ribs and chest ache as the turned in bed.

She soon sat up the pain that was such a trouble earlier now dulled by the rest she had recieved. She didn't know how long she had rested and just sat there. Her feet planted on the floor her eyes straining to catch the objects within the dimly lit room. She touched her lips. The sensation of blood rushing there made her aware of it. She felt a slight uneasiness and wondered if she had really been dreaming about him or if he was really there.

Keith She moved her hand away from her mouth and hang her head down.

Allen- "Hi John." He extended his hand and tried to smile. It didn't work too well and he just ended up looking kind of sick.

John- "So... Um... What's happening? With the colonies..." John shifted uneasily from foot to foot. Being secluded has a way of making people sktish around other people. Allen looked at the monitors again.

Allen- "Something tells me that this isn't going to be as easy as it was the first time around. Geneefee, if you would fill in John," Allen wondered momentarily what the mans last name was, but only briefly, "on what's happened so far I'd be thankful." She nodded. "Thanks." He walked to the door and let it slide open, then turned around. "Both of you please be back in the cafeteria in about two hours."

Geneefee- "Briefing?" Allen nodded.

Allen- "Spread it around." He walked out and past Gabriellas room, listened for thumps, heard none, and walked into his own room. He flopped down on the bed and ran through the info in his head again.

Somehow, the Event Horizon was here. Some kind of temporal flux bullshit. He though momentarily back to his training. Time 101, a mandatory class with the newer kinds of technology being built and the ways they can go wrong. Never get yourself messed up in time. It's never good. If you think you've been moved across the timeline, it's better to do nothing then try and fix it. Allen sighed and rolled onto his side.

They would have to destroy the Event Horizon. That much was sure. But how... They'd need weapons. Hopefully the station was stocked well. They'd need to get to the second facility too... The SEALS were all dead... Their demolitions tech too. Improvisation... Wonderful. The Event Horizon was underground. Digging, maybe. If he remembered the scans correctly, there was a shaft leading to it. That's how the probes got in.

Allen sat up on his bed.

Allen- "They dug to it?" He walked over to the terminal in his room and punched up the scans. The shaft was clean. Straight to it. Almost like they knew it was there... Allen shook his head. "No. It drew them to itself." He brought up a wider shot. The Deimos colonies were made to dig to the center of the moon and see if there might be resources to harvest. Metals. Water. Natural gasses. Etc. They were supposed to branch out from the second colony in a spider web fashion. But... "No..." There was no web. It was one straight tunnel. "No..." They knew it was here. Maybe not all of them. Maybe only the digging team... But maybe not. He'd have to have a talk with Vivian...

Allen rubbed his eyes and shut the terminal down. They knew about it...

Allen- "Idiots..." He started going over what he was going to tell everyone.

Sorry about my absence as of late guys, this flu has been keeping me pretty much devoid of any form of creativity.

---------------------

Van's gaze broke from Vivian's as he walked across the room, he had pretty much spilled his soul to her. Most of the details he'd just shared he'd not shared with anyone, not even Allen, but she seemed to have a connection with what was going on, so she had a right to know. He rubbed his eyes before sighing heavily, the last few weeks had taken a lot out of him, both physically and emotionally, but there had at least been some benefit. His energy reserves were pretty much spent, even though his body had recuperated his injuries he would still require a lot of rest just to get his energy back. He gaze was once again focused on Vivian as her hand came to rest on his shoulder, he just wanted to sleep for a while, just to escape into his subconscious where nothing could get at him.

Vivian: [Quietly] Something wrong ?

Van: [Off-handedly] I'm just a little tired, sedatives are no match for a proper nights sleep.

Van moved towards the library doors, all he wanted to do now was go to his room and lay down beside Trini. As he walked out the door he could almost hear Vivian silently protest but he decided that he'd shared enough for one night, later if they had more to talk about then they'd talk. The white metallic corridors reminded him of his military work, he'd primarily been involved in field medicine, though on occasion he had worked on slightly less orthodox projects. He ran his fingers along the wall, sending a shiver down his spine, he didn't want to be here, but here was where he was, and where he probably die. He moved back along the corridor to Trini's room, he found her awake looking slightly dazed, she smiled as he entered, beckoning him over to her. Their lips met and he instantly felt better, something about being with her seemed to make all his problems just melt away.

I was hoping to get a few more posts before the briefing.
???
Allen walked into the Cafeteria hoping to find a cup of coffee. They'd have to have coffee on this rock. To not supply people with coffee was almost like inducing insanity. He stopped and chuckled at his completely inappropriate wit. God he wished his crew was back... Not the new one, the other one. He wanted Tex and Sam and Ruben... He wanted them back.

Allen got to the cabinets and began searching through them after a brief glance at the abandoned coffee pot on the counter. He found cream, sugar...

Allen- "Ah! There it is." He pulled down a large bag of columbian roast and heaped the grounds into the back of the machine. Allen flipped the switch on and smiled as he sat in one of the stainless steel chairs, the scent of coffee slowly filling the room. A good cup of coffee would do him good. Perk him up. Make him a little more aware for the upcomming schpiel of information and tactics that would probably have to be changed on the fly when they first get started. He sighed and layed his head down on the cool table. No, it was cold. Like almost everything was around here. Cold. Angry.

Allen- "Murderous." The coffee dinged. Allen got up and poured himself a large cup without any additives. Just coffee. Strong, black, and natural. He sipped and smiled as he let the steaming liquid down his throat. A cup of coffee always helped him feel better, no matter what was going on. He took another sip and checked his watch. Twenty more minutes.

Lurred by the scent of coffee, Geneefee left her room and stumbled in, wearing a nightshirt and pajama bottoms, looking teenaged and adorable, and heart wrenchingly young. Too young to be stranded here in a colony from hell.

She smiled at the Captain, then removed her mug from the rack and poured a liberal ammount, followed by a heavy dash of cream and about a pint of sugar. She stirred it with the tip of her knife, looking at the wall absentmindedly. He noted she was barefoot on the cold metal floor, and her toenails were painted black. Just like her fingertips. An odd thing to carry to a colony from earth.

Geneefee looked up at him and followed his gaze to her feet.

"Are you a foot fetish guy?"

"....not that I know of."

The face she made was priceless, and Allen burst out laughing. She curled one of her feet around the other and sipped from her mug.

"Please tell me you're not like that."

"I am not a foot fetish person."

"Thank goodness."

"Is that coffee I smell?"

Out of the blue, Gabriella walked into the cafeteria and found Genefee and Allen talking amongst themselves. She wore a black tank top with black shorts that came down to below her knees, it was comfortable outfit that she had not worn in quite awhile. As Gabriella came in, she tried give small smile to the people in the room, but it was hard when pain was stabbing within her. She sighed and took a mug off of the rack and poured herself a cup and added cream and sugar.

Genefee and Allen looked to her hands. It was still bandaged poorly and Allen knew at once that she had not gone to Van, yet he said nothing. Genefee cleared her throat and took a sip of her coffee. Gabriella smiled to her and made an effort to be kind.

"My name's Gabriella. We weren't properly introduced."

"Genefee. Say, are you a foot fetish person?"

Confused, Gabriella blinked and looked to Allen and back to Genefee. "...uh...can't say that I am. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, no reason. We had a strange conversation about feet awhile ago. But, anyways, how are you? You were in a pretty bad shape last time I saw you."

Silence hung in the air and Gabriella shook her head and smiled. She didn't want her pain to bother her anymore. She wanted to find the people, finish the mission, and go home. "Pretty good. I...had...issues, as you can see." Gabriella held up her hand and Genefee nodded and sipped. "Occasionally happens. Not quite often, but it happens. I wouldn't have been surprised if I knocked someone on their ass if we were still on the ship. Well, there were several people I would have punched, mainly...the Captain."

Light laughter broke from Allen and Genefee. Gabriella chuckled and joined in on the laughter. It's been a long time since she's smiled and laughed. It was hard for her, even on the ship. It was hard to stay happy when in her mind, a demon coiled its serpentine body around her soul.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and held him there for a moment. Their lips only locked for a few seconds as she broke the contact and laid her head on his shoulders.

"You okay?" She asked quietly. Her eyes closing as her senses reveled in the contact. His touch, his arms perfectly content around her waist. His thumbs lightly rubbing the uncovered skin between her shirt and panties. She took in his smell. His words interrupting her sensations.

"No need to worry about me." His voice was somewhat shaky. She couldn't tell why but only listened on, her ears tuned in with his breathing pattern. Her body unconsciously now moving in sync with him. He took in a few more breathes before speaking again. "How was you nap?"

"Okay." She answered, hoping he couldn't note the apprehension in her voice. Her mind flashing Keith's face. She seemed to hold on to Van tighter. Not wanting to lose this moment.

After a few moments she realised the compramising position she was in. Van was on his knees in front of her her legs parted as they hold each other. She smiled a little bit as a shiver ran up her back.

Van saw the smile and she soon giggled looking at his face.

"What's so funny?" He asked looking at her.

She took in a breathe.

"Just thinking about the situation." Van looked at her, puzzled. "I mean look at us." She started again. "You are in the perfect position to just have you way with me." She rotated her hips a bit towards Van. Her sense of touch and pleasure no way bound by the temporary physical handicap she was now in. "And I'm in too much pain to really enjoy it."

Van laughed at her comment. Seeing a side of Trini that he never knew existed. She could only smile. Trying to contain a laugh, that didn't stay restrained for long.

She was in pain as it started and cried out a little before forcing herself to stop. Van laughs soon died down as well. The silence between them growing as they held each others gazes. They kissed again, their mouths hungry for one another. Her hands soon began moving up and down his back. She began to ignore the pain trying to bury itself in her mind but their brief moment was again interrupted.

"BRIEFING IN THE CAFETERIA."

It ws an unrecognizable male voice. He must have been just yelling to between the adjacent rooms, because it remained quiet after those words were spoken.

Trini cursed herself for having their moment ruined once again, before she kissed Van lightly on the lips and reaching for her pants at his side, a hand holding side as she moved.

Vivian gazed after Van, a little worried that she upset him too much. She sat back on the desk and began to rub her palms against her face before slapping herself.

"Wake up, Vivian," she chanted and stood.

With a stretch and yawn, Vivian left the library. Her thoughts lingered in that room and she decided to let them go for now.

That was interesting..

"Ugh, could you leave me alone for one day?"

I cannot leave you..

Ignoring him, Vivian shook her head and decided to go find a new sweater. Her paces dragged and swiveled. She was physically and mentally exhausted. Her hand grazed the wall, occassionally pressing against it for balance. She entered her quarters and stared about the room, like always. She opened her metal cabinet to find an over-sized, grey sweater. Just like the one she was already wearing. Shrugging off the uniformity of everything, Vivian peeled off her soiled sweater and tossed it into the waste can.

She turned around to look into the mirror. Cracks and dirt plagued the reflective glass, distorting her figure. She examined her stomach with her fingertips. There was no blood. Only a scar about the size of a quarter. She traced the smooth tissue lightly.

I remember giving that to you... an icey shiver crept up Vivian's abdomen.

"Why didn't you let me die? What is it that you want from me.." Vivian choked softly, grasping her sweater to her bared bosom.

Ah, Vivian..do not cry..I have a great purpose for you, my love..

"I hate you..I hate you!"

Vivian yelled into the mirror. She paused, waiting a response. Furious, she thrust her foot into the mirror. Shards of glass scattered around her room. The floor glittered with dangerous shards. Vivian knelt, sobbing. She rocked herself and stared down at the thousands of relfections. Taking slow breaths, Vivian plucked a shard from the grey carpet.

Vivian, what do you think you are doing..

"Getting rid of you.."'

It is pointless..I will still follow you...

Standing up, Vivian pressed the razor-sharp edge to her wrist.

"Why?! Why won't you leave me?!"

Because..I'm in love with you...

"Shut the fuck up!"

Blood trickled from her wrist as she pressed the glass deeper into her skin. A low chuckle rumbled into her head.

If you do kill yourself..you'll be with me for all eternity..you know this...

Vivian's hand squeezed the glass as she sunk to her knees. Her tears flooded her vision. She knew he was right. He was always right. She would never escape him. Life or death, nothing would stop him. With a hard sob of defeat, Vivian threw the shard across the room.

BRIEFING IN THE CAFETERIA

With this, Vivian quickly bandaged her wrist and threw on her sweater. She hurriedly brushed her tears away and started for the cafeteria. The thick aroma of fresh brewed coffee soothed her somewhat as she entered.

"Hey, mind if I grab a cup?" Vivian forced a cheerful tone and looked at Allen.

"Have at it," Allen gestured his cup towards the coffee machine.

In silence, Vivian fixed her coffee and stood against the counter. She clutched the warmth of the coffee to her shaken body. Her breath still staggered to catch a steady flow. Waiting for Trini and Van, Vivian stared into her coffee, gazing into her swirling reflection.

She dressed herself quickly as she heard another set of footsteps move down the hallway after the male spoke. She wondered who it wa as she and Van only exchanged brief glances towards one another as she dressed.

"Give me you hand." Van stood up quickly as Trini finished tying her boots. She was rather happy that these survived the crash of she would have been S.O.L.

She took Van's hand and stood up. He wrapped his arm around her waist immediately giving her the extra support as if sensing that a the stabbing pain would hit her as soon as he did it. She could only hold on to him. Gripping a much of his shirt as she could and wanting to punch to closest wall hoping it would be an outlet for the torture her body was going through.

Van could only look on sympathetic to her her feeling and oly being there for her. Unable to do any more.

She suddenly went for completely vunerable to laughing as she slowly straightened herself up. Readying heself to take a step.

"What's so funny?" Van asked, pussled byt the quick change in mood.

"Just thinking about something...."

"Like that tells me alot." He twisted his lips from the vague statement.

She grin widened. "Right about now I still wish you had that Neurotin on you."

He was a little shocked by the blunt phrase but then could only shake his head.

"Can't believe you'd bring that up." He exhaled as she began to move.

"You know what..." She kept moving and the doors opened as they neared it together. "I can't believe I did either." She held her head down a little and moved itno the hall, using the nearest wall for a little support. "I'm sorry if that hurt." She said and moved slowly along Van by her side. "I'm not thinking before I speak."

Van glanced around a little bit before she continued. Her face not grimicing as much as it did earlier when she was walking about.

"I think this place is changing me a bit. With the accident and all. I must be acting out you know." She looked at him and they held each others eyes for a moment. The scent of coffee invading their sense of smell. She sniffed the air hoping more was left over. But her stomach growled angerily.

"I see that thing is getting a mind of its own too." Van cracked a smile and Trini did too.

"Well," her sotmach growled once more. " This is one thing I know I can't control. So your just out of luck when it comes to that."

The two of them went along their way Trinis stomachcontinuing its gugles as they neared the Mess Hall. The sounds of voices soon breaking though as well. The two of them entered and looked around everyone was present, plus one that Trini had yet met. They returned the glance as well as Trini slowly made her way to the coffee pot.

" Don't hog it all you guys." She said grabbing the pot while between Allen and Vivian. Van had a seat Just looking around the room. Vivian looked up and stiffened a little whikle next to Trini.

Trini looked at her as she finished pouring her cup.

"You okay Vivian?"

Vivian's attention was brought back to Trini.

"Yeah," she responded quickly. "Just a lil tired I guess." A forced smile crossed her face. Trini only nodded in return before grabbing a seat.

Allen watched the last of the people filter into the Cafeteria. John came in last. He took a seat in the back. No one talked but he could see curious looks on everyones face about the new arrival. He stood and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

Allen- "I'd like to give everyone more time to recoupe and heal, but we don't have it. I don't know if they're waiting for us to get going or if they're just biding their time." He rubbed his stubbly face with his hand. "God knows we could all use another day of sleep." He glanced at John. "John please stand up." He did, a little reluctantly. "This is John. He's another survivor and therefore a member of our crew. Introductions will be up to you guys, I don't have the time." He momentarily reflected on the temporal situation they were in and cracked a small smile.

Van- "Allen. What're we going to do?" He looked at the captain with eyes that were intensely questioning. Allen smiled.

Allen- "Soon Van. I need to spread a little bit of info first. Geneefee was showing me some scans of Deimos earlier today. It seems that the Event horizon in this moon is the same one we ran into not more than a few months ago. We didn't destroy it. The Gravity Drive must have fired somewhere around the time that the ship exploded. And somehow, it's beyond me to even begin to explain, it traveled back in time. It appeared in the moon several thousand years ago. I don't know why it waited until now to strike. Maybe something to do with us 'winning' a few months ago. I can't say for sure. Just like I can't say with complete certanty why they backed off." Allen rubbed his face again, a nervous habit he picked up.

Trini- "My God." Allen nodded.

Van- "So..."

Allen- "We're going to destroy it for a final time. No more of this shit. This entire universe is still threatened. We're the last hope." He pulled up a schematic on a small computer screen. It showed both of the colonies and the damage that had been recently delt. "We're going to go through the tunnel we destroyed when we crashed and into the second facility. We'll set up base in the cafeteria over there. We will sustain no casualties. We will sustain no further injuries. We will be deady and prescise. I won't lose anyone else." He scanned the room. "We will win. Now go and get some rest or do whatever you want to do. We're leaving in three hours."

Geneefee watched the captain out of the corner of her eye as she walked out of the cafeteria. It seemed like her body wasn't her own. She walked. Glided really. In heavy boots over the floor, quietly, calmly, as if nothing was wrong and they weren't going to their certain doom and die alone and unloved far away from home. Pinched and uncomfortable. Traumatized, afraid, and destroyed in mind and body.

She sighed and stripped off her clothing, dropping it all on the floor as she went.

A shower. A hot shower.

"Oh sweet sweet apathy come to me."

She collapsed into the steamy water, moaning to herself very softly. It couldn't get any worse could it? No visions of horror and pale green horse corpses yet. No disembodied heads speaking to her and no horrible scars and bruises and slash marks over other people. No hallucinations. She smiled wryly. It could be her turn next.

Geneefee smiled and scrubbed her body with the loofah very slowly. Suds covered her skin, her nipples rising under the touch. She turned and picked up the razor, watching its blades glisten wetly.

"Should I?"

Clutching her fists, Gabriella began to walk out and Allen saw that she still did not go to Van. She disappeared from his sight and turned the corner towards her room, where Trini stood with arms crossed. She looked at Gabriella as she came near, who knew what Trini was thinking.

"Blood. Dents. Broken pieces. What's wrong?"

"What are you talking about?" Gabriella acted as if nothing had happened and walked into her room. "Nothing's wrong."

"No. That's a lie, MacGuire. What's wrong?"

Gabriella looked at Trini and paced. She didn't want to go through it again and truly did not want to say anything. If it was anything else, she would have explained herself, but this was what she was going through. This was something that had happened as if they were series. It hurt her internally and not externally. If it was anything else, she would tell her.

She merely shook her head and Trini nodded. She didn't want to pry and just put a hand upon Gabriella's shoulders. "If you need someone to talk to, I'm here. Remember that?" She then left the room and the door closed behind her. Gabriella was left in the dimly lit room and she suddenly sat upon the bed, but stood up once more.

"I think a hot shower is good for me."

Unwrapping her bandages first, it stung at first, but resided as soon as they were all off. The blood subsided and Gabriella extended her fingers to only hear cracking. Sighing, Gabriella grabbed a towel and placed it on the floor. She stripped off her grimy clothes and turned the water on.

It was a warm, massaging rain that gently splashed against the body. It cleansed all the pain and sorrow from her and relaxed her, giving her a refreshed mind. The demon slept as she stood in the water.

Vivian sipped cooly on her coffee, watching Allen closely. He was drained of whatever energy he had left. His eyes were dull and nearly lifeless; but there was a glimmer of hope burning softly. The hope that they will bring the beast down once and for all. Vivian's face furrowed as the gritty last of what was liquid passed through her lips. She set the mug on the counter and started for the exit.

You won't let them, Vivan..

I most certainly will. I'm tired of living like this..

I can arrange a lovely death...then you can stand by my side..forever..

Never. You will be nothing, non-exsistant..And then I can finally live..

You defy me..who gave you life..I think not Vivian..we have a deal..

"Fuck our deal!" Vivan slammed her palm into the "open" button.

Ignoring whatever comment was said by the remainder of people in the room, she stormed out with no concern. Vivian passed Geneefee's quarters; her door was open. Vivian looked up and down the corridor. Startled and confused, she slowly entered the room. It didn't look much different from hers, only Geneefee had taped up pictures of her family.

"Geneefee?" Vivian lightly stepped over her garments.

The door to her bathroom was cracked just so the steam from the shower could spill out as it pleased. Vivian carefully made her way to the door.

"Hey Gen? Sorry to just walk in, but your door wa-" Vivian stopped and stared at the glass doors.

Geneefee's sillouhette turned slowly, sliding the glass door open. Geneefee stood perfectly still and completely unashamed of baring her snow-white body. Vivian glanced over her shoulder.

"Your door was open."

"Of course it was," Geneefee stepped out of the shower, grasping a razor in her hand.

Vivian nodded and turned to leave. Geneefee's wet hand gripped Vivian's shoulder.

"Are you alright, Viv?" Geneefee turned her around.

The two were merely inches apart. Geneefee's body still dripped; Vivian motionless.

"I'm fine, thank you. Now dry up and throw on some clothes before you catch a cold," Vivian grasped Geneefee's hand and gave her a gentle push.

She turned once more to trudge through the room. She exited the room and started down the hall. Where she was going, Vivian did not know. She just wanted to walk and take this time to think of what to do. She wanted nothing more than to help Allen and his crew. She longed to rid the universe of the shadow of the Event Horizon. She wanted to kill him, for good.

However, she had made an oath for her life. Selfishness at best. The exchange of life for the life of another. Vivian struggled with the complex decisions that flooded her mind. Her deal with the devil would forever haunt her decisions.

"If you are alive, God, please help me.." Vivian leant against the cold walls, sinking to her knees.

Geneefee got dressed, washed her face, and inserted her headpiece and earrings. Something was nagging her in the back of the mind, something ugly, but she ignored it.

Through the hall, she felt something again, and finally knocked on Vivian's door.

"If you are alive, God, please help me..."

She knocked, making a light rapping noise with her knuckles against the cold and unyielding metal. With no response she gently kicked it with the heel of her boots.

"Who is it?"

"It's Geneefee. Open up in there."

"Yeah."

The doors slid open and Vivian looked up at him. Quietly, mutely. Geneefee invited herself in and looked around. She turned and looked straight into Vivian's eyes.

"How are you?"

Vivian stay still on the floor, staring up into Geneefee's capturing gaze. Her eyes never faultered to show any sign of emotion, while Vivian's spilled with pain.

"How are you?" Geneefee asked again, politely.

"Not too well," Vivian swept the tears from her pale cheeks.

Geneefee slowly walked around the room in silence. Her eyes scanned the walls, absorbing all she saw into her blank face. Vivian leant against the wall and closed her eyes.

"What do you need, Gen?"

"Don't you feel it?" Geneefee sat tenderly on Vivian's bed, as if she were to disturb an inanimate object.

"Feel what, exactly?" her voice brimmed with exhaustion.

Geneefee stood once more and crept up to Vivian, kneeling in front of her. Geneefee's hands reached out to cup Vivian's face.

"You should know, Vivian."

Geneefee studied every feature on Vivian's face; the brow, the lips, even the circles under Vivian's eyes. Geneefee's thumbs grazed over her cheeks. Vivian was motionless; she was rendered from moving.

"I'm..afraid I don't know what you're talking about," Vivian took Geneefee's hands into hers and pulled them away.

"C'mon, Viv. Something evil is within you; I can feel it," Geneefee reached out again, only to pull Vivian's face closer.

"I have nothing to tell you on what you feel. I'm not well in health because I'm exhausted with living here. I'm tired of freezing; I'm tired of taking a chance with the food I find; I'm tired of being alone-"

"Ah, that is where you are wrong," Geneefee edged closer, "You are not alone in here.."

Geneefee tapped Vivian on the forehead. She released her and stood up. Vivian climbed to her feet, never taking an eye away from Geneefee. The two, once more, inches apart. The specialist stared with a chill in her gaze; Vivian with the same expression.

"I do not have to tell you, Gen. You already know," Vivian stepped away and walked towards her bathroom, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm in need of a shower."

"You are harboring him in your mind. I will not allow you to help in this mission," Geneefee reached behind her back.

Vivian stopped in front of the full-lengthed mirror, staring at her. Geneefee's hand emerged with the razor blade extended. The glimmer of sharp, smooth metal dances on the floor. Vivian's lips curled into a sly smile and she tured around, propping her hand on the bathroom sink.

Geneefee felt the cold cool metal slide over her fingertips, the razor glistening slightly in her palm. Vivian looked at her casually. As if she wasn't feeling threatened in any way shape or form.

She sauntered up to her and caressed the side of her face with the hand not holding the blade. Leaning her face closer to Vivian's, her lips brushing her cheek, her eyelids, her nose, her lips. She responded.

One hand slide over Genefee's shoulder, the other slid in a line down her stomach.

"What's the razor for?"

"Excitement."

Any further conversation was drowned out by the sound of lips pressing against another's, warmer, softer, quieter, then louder again. The sounds blended and the feelings of heat and high took over. A feeling of euphoria, a natural chemical reaction in the brain that sent both women present into a new and altered state of being.

"Is the door closed?"

"Yeah."

"Is the door closed?" Vivian managed to get out before Geneefee consumed her.

"Yes."

The two sank to the floor, peeling off any garments they could manage to grab. The chill of the room melted away into the waves of sudden and heated passion. Their soft moans echoed off of the sweating walls.

"Why won't you tell me, Vivian?" Geneefee's fingertips drug over Vivian's breasts and rising stomach.

"You wouldn't believe me.." Vivian's palms formed over the delicate curves of Geneefee's hips, her fingers slipping under the straps of her panties.

Geneefee's body lifted in a slight arch, giving Vivian the opportunity to peel away the silky cloth. She lowered her face to Geneefee's flushing skin and began to blow down her pantyline. Geneefee's body cringed, giving birth to goosebumps.

They had been deprived, for far too long.

"Viv.."

"I won't tell you.."

Vivian slid her hands between Geneefee's thighs, spreading them.

Hm..what if I...

You stay out of this..

Genefee slid her fingers up into Vivian's hair, massaging her scalp slowly, wondering just what it was that had come over her. Made her want to swiftly and suddenly lose control like this.

To rub smooth skin against skin, and ride until they had both reached some other place. Further from here. She smiled and burried her face between Vivian's breasts, inhaling a scent of soap and roses. Any further thought was quickly whisked away as Vivian rubbed over and around her legs, driving her quite literally up the wall.

"You like that....don't you?"

"I ....do."

It stopped as Vivian pulled back to gague Genefee's response. Which was good. More like desperation. A look that basically made her look like a hungry animal.

Vivian embraced her lover, caressing her shoulders. How she longed to remain in this moment with her; forever.

She doesn't love you like I do, Vivian..You know what she is doing, she's weakening you...to kill you..

No..Vivian shook her head softly. Geneefee stared up at her in question.

"Please tell me, Vivian. I want to help," her hands swept over Vivian's face.

"Gen..I want you to protect Cpt. Chubb and his crew from me. If I do anything to the extent of murdering him, kill me."

Vivian eased her face onto Geneefee's, her thumb rubbing the tender skin of Geneefee's inner thigh.

"You are being controlled by him, aren't you?"

"Yes. That is why I need you to kill me if I suddenly become estranged. Do not hesitate, Gen."

Yes Vivian...You will die if you deny me..

Vivian shut her eyes tightly, squeezing steaming tears down her cheeks. The droplets dripped onto Geneefee, who pulled Vivian's shaking frame into her.

"Promise me you will do as I ask, Gen?"

"I promise."

In Geneefee's gentle care, Vivian fell sound asleep. The sound of her heart beat, the subtle rise and fall of her chest, the light scent of her skin; Geneefee cast a spell. Vivian could finally relax.

In her arms.

Trini leaned against the wall next to Gabrielle's door hoping that the wound she encurred would not become infected. Trini knew the young lady would take care of it but also knew she was too stubborn and tight-lipped to say anything about it. She moved down the hallway a lilttle more smootly now having the caffeine infiltrate her system and the so-called rest move through her. But the pain...

Ooohhh GOD! she thought, the pain was still there. But she kept moving. Her only thought on what available supplies there were in their make way medical facility. She moved along in relative silence down the short hallway and made a quicky turn to the room they first arrived in and walked inside confidently still slightly limping. She began to rummage.

Her rib and eg intermediately setting of a sensation of pain is she moved the wrong way or too quick but more so to just nag the hell out of her. She growled in the distaste of being like this but just gritted her teeth and kept searching.

Where is it? Her eyes glazing the desktops her hands searing the piles of paper and cans and left over trash from the make shift cafeteria desk.

She moved over to the next are a stab in her ler reminded her to slow down.

Come On, Trini....She kept looking and opened a set of drawers.

"BINGO!" She said out loud finding a case of gauze and aintibiotic ointment. She searched another set of cabinents and found left over pain meds that she knew weren't strong enough for an ant bite pain but thought it would have to do.

She tossed the things on the nearest bed and kept searching. She found a small sewing kit and a lighter.

"Make shift sutures." She siad out loud. "Check."

And kept moving. She soon found Peroxide, Alcohol, more qauze, tape, and a few more items that everyday people wouldn't dream of having.

She grabbed a few of the more prominent items and moved back to MacQuire's room and knocked on to door to receive no answer. She didn't wait to knock again but moved into the unlocked room and deposited the gauze, tape, antibiotic ointment and peroxide on the bed. She found a sheet of paper and left her a note.

If it needs to be sowed come to my room.

TRINI

With that she exited the room and moved back to the med room gathering the rest of her supplies before moving to her room. Now ready to work on her own wounds. She threw the times on her bed, greatful of the time she now had to herself. She personally didn't want Van to see this. She took off her shirt and looked at her arm. The three sratches on her arm were barely scabbed over now and seemed to be oozing over again. The wound she thought had closed up.

She grabbed the bottle of alcohol and was very tempted to pour it over the wound. She shivered thinking of the burning experience , she knew she would feel in a moment and decided better against it and got back up. Luckily she had on a sleeves while shirt that was dirty and spotted from the dirt and blood that was on her body.

She got up again but not before bracing her ribs and grunting in pain as she moved. She grabbed the bottle of pain pills and moved out, back to Gabrielle's room to retrieve the peroxide.

She knocked when she got there, but quickly barged in ignoring Gabrielles request for her to wait. She only gulped as she saw her crew member wrapped in a towel with a wicked looking wound on her.

Allen got back to his room, stripped off everything except his boxers, and sat on the cold floor. When he was in highschool one of his best friends was Buddist. He had taught Allen how to meditate and rejuvenate oneself through mere thought. Allen cracked his back and tried to remember how to begin. It'd been years since he tried. After he got into the Airforce he stopped, not having the time or the patience to continue with the meditation.

Allen- "Let's see if old dogs can remember old tricks..." He closed his eyes and relaxed every muscle in his body, starting with his toes. His legs ached, but the muscles relaxed, sending wave after wave of comfort to his brain. Then his abdomen and chest. He relaxed his arms, hands, fingers, and shoulders. Then he relaxed his mind.

He invisioned a starscape, the image that he always felt most calm looking at. No planets, no moons, nothing but stars. They began to rotate, slowly, calmingly. Way out there, somewhere, was Earth. He flew through the starscape, looking for the small blue and green planet swirled with the while brushstrokes of white. It always looked the best from space. Calm, peaceful, and beautiful. No worries there. At least none you could see.

Ah! There it is. Still in the distance. There goes Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus. Maybe a little faster. Yes. There we go. The other planets passed like a blur. There's Mars, and there's Venus. And there's Venus... Wait. Allen stirred on the floor in his sitting position. Two Venus'? No. Couldn't be.... He turned around and started back-tracking. There's Venus... And...

Allen's eyes shot open. Earth had been destroyed. The atmosphere as poison as Venus'. The oceans toxic. Everyone gone...

Allen- "Get out, you ???hole." He quickly dressed and headed back down to the Cafeteria, pushing any other minds from his own. Meditation left you vulnerable aparently. He'd pick up his equipment later. He needed more coffee.

 • 2 weeks later...
The door slid open when the Captain passed by, but Geneffee made no effort to conceal her body and the body of Vivian. Both were naked, and reposing on the bedspread, various bits of clothing littering the floor like confettie. She looked up and smiled at him. Vivian stirred in her sleep, but didn't move.

She brought up one finger to her lips and made the sign for quiet. Allen whispered softly.

"What happened in here?"

"Just some playing, nothing important."

He raised an eyebrow, but left and the door closed again. She smiled and leaned against the wall. Vivain's arms were tucked tightly around her waist, her eyes closed, mouth only slightly open. She hummed softly in her sleep, moving her hips slightly. Geneffee alughed to herself but didn't move. She would be loath to disturbe Vivian, who had been deprived of sleep for so long.

"Good girl."

"She's still posessed."

"What of it? We love each other. I'll watch out."

"Don't let down that guard of yours."

"If I do, you'll be sure to remind me, even when it isn't let down."

"True that."

Vivian dear, wake up now..

I don't want to. Not just yet..

Your time is running out..the mission begins soon..

Just a little longer..please..

"Please.." moaned Vivian. Her grip around Geneefee's waist tightened just slightly, as if holding onto her slumber for life. Her eyes fluttered as she rouse, stubbornly.

"You are awake?"

"Unfortunately," Vivian chuckled half-heartedly and rubbed at her eyes.

"Was it peaceful?" Geneefee's hand cupped Vivian's chin. The two smiled.

"It was marvelous. I can't remember a time when I slept so soundly," her voice drifted, "How I missed the peace.."

She slowly sat up and glanced around the room. It was a mess; clothes every which way, blankets molded with the clothes to form a carpet of material. Vivian yawned softly and reached for her pants.

"How much time do we have left?"

"About fourty-five minutes," Geneefee stood and moved behind Vivian. Her hands slinked around to help Vivian button and zip her pants, "You're shaking. Are you scared of the second section?"

Vivian looked into the broken mirror, Geneefee's face blended and pieced with her own. She then shook her head and swallowed the fear she really felt creeping up her throat.

"N-nah. I think I'm a bit anxious to settle this hellish nightmare once and for all," Vivian walked towards the bathroom, "I think I'll take a quick shower to help relax my nerves."

"All right then. I'll see you at the rendevous," Geneefee gave Vivian a quick kiss then gathered her garments. The door hissed softly behind her.

Smiling to herself, Vivian jumped into a steaming shower. The tension that weighed over her shoulders and neck slowly melted away. Once more, relaxation engulfed her.

|-Minutes later-|

Vivian found herself dozing off into the shower before the water suddenly cooled. She stepped out and dried off, slipping into clean clothes. Her pants brown, black tank top, and a black sweater. She gathered anything she thought the mission might need and stuffed it all into a backpack; medical kits, small rations, toiletry products.

She messed her hair then headed towards the Cafeteria. He had not bothered her. When she slept, he was not there. When she embraced Geneefee, he was not there. When she took her shower, he was not there. And it scared her. Their deal was bound by her soul. The deal that would cost her greed to live, and her compassion for her new friends.

Shaking her contradiction from her mind, Vivian stepped into the Cafeteria. She set her pack on a table and sauntered over to the coffee pot.

"I believe this is more blood to us than our own," she chuckled to herself. The strong aroma filled the air as she took of the lid and scooped a few spoonfuls into the filter.

"You read my mind," the doors slid open as Allen walked in.

"Let's just say, great minds think alike. It would be interesting to read thoughts."

John entered his quarters before the doors had fully opened. Being around people again wasn’t as nice as he was expecting it to be. Almost subconsciously John began pacing in front of his mirror with his arms held tightly behind his back as if he were a military General.

"I don’t think any one of them has a clue what they’re in for. Then again it doesn’t matter, I’ll probably be the only one to survive knowing my b*stard luck!"

John was disrupted from his mind rant when his stomach made a horrendous growling sound.

John: Gods Namit!

On his way back to the Cafeteria, John pulled his right arm up so that his watch was visible and he stopped dead in his tracks. The hands were spinning around alternatively in the clockwise and anticlockwise direction. After about half a minute of this the hands firmly readjusted themselves to 6-7 hours later than what it had been just before he left the room.

Upon entering the Cafeteria, The Captain, Chubbs John recalled, and one of the girls who had been there earlier were setting up for coffee. The thing that struck John first was the fact that both of them had changed and looked refreshed, yet it had only been a matter of about 5-6 minutes to John.

Both of them looked up on his entry and Allen tilted his head to call him over. John walked over almost deathly and stopped just before reaching them. Again he brought up his arm to view his watch and then he looked at them both in disbelief.

Vivian: Would you like some coffee, John was it?

John: *mechanical tone* wha…? Oh! No thanks. Yeah, John Lars. Just call me Ghost if you want. Say do either of you have the time?

Vivian immediately pointed at the large clock at the back of the room and John’s Watch confirmed the time it displayed. Allen and Vivian then looked at each other puzzled. John shrugged and then continued to speak.

John: Do either you ever zone out and miss large portions of the day?

Now Allen and Vivian looked even more puzzled.

John: Just me than yeah?

Trini looked at Gabrielle's hands. One being poorly wrapped as the other still bleeding a little wrapping it as Gabrielle sat there.

"DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO WAIT?!" Gabrielles eyes shot daggers towards Trini who not only ignored the looks but stepped into the room the door closing behind her.

"Like I really give a damn about what you say..."Trini moved in front of MacQuire and knelt down looking over her hands. Gabrielle was only hushed by the brief show of command that Trini showed. "Besides you need to get these thing bandaged right or its gonna wind up looking like this."

Trini showed Gabrielle the cuts on her forearm. The four marks going about running parallel to one another each about 3 inches long. The cuts were puss filled and reddened.

"How the hell.." Gabrielle's mouth formed the words as Trini moved her arm down quickly and looked over Gabrielle's hands, interrupting her question.

"Now I gotta dress these the right way." Trini said sighing.

Trini unwrapped the bandages and saw the cuts there slowly healing but she grabbed the peroxide anyway and poured a little over each of of teammates hand. The fluid bubbling up as it touched the lacerated peices of flesh. Trini quickly wiped the remaining fluid away and wrapped Gabrielle's hand.

Before standing up she grabbed the bottle of peroxide. She groaned as she rose her adrenaline rush from the moment wearing down and her torn body reminding her once again in how much of a compromise she was actually in.

She stood and moved to the side finding a empty spot on Gabrielles bed and sitting now beginning to tend her own arm. Gabrielle watched in silence as the Medic removed the yell congealed substance from the wound before pouring the peroxide down her arm.

"So how did that happen?" Gabrielle finally asked. Standing up and moving to a corner removing her towel and dressing as Trini continued to clean and then slowly dress her arm.

"It was the night the ship crashed.. after the meeting." Trini started her other arm slowly but firmly wrapping the bandage up her arm covering the wounds.

"I went back to the med bay and fell asleep and had the weirdest dream." Trini stopped for a moment rembering in detail what her dream encompassed. She remembered seeing her own eyes in that dream. They were hate-filled and cruel. A side of her that she hoped would never exist. She snapped out of her daze quickly and returned to wrapping the wound realizing she paused midway.

"When I awoke. My arm was on the desk." She looked at Gabrielle who had just finished dressing and was now turned towards Trini. "The desk was covered in my blood. That's when I saw them."

Gabrielle sat on the bed.

"So did something on the desk or maybe in the desk cut you?" She asked kind of knowing that didn't seem right but hoping for a moment that's just what it was.

Trini shook her head and finished wrapping the bandage.

"It was a warning." She said. Her eyes glossing over for a moment but then snapping back to their original state. " I don't know why. But that's what I think, but I don't care you know. I've ran from warnings all my life and I've only stood up to them once before. I guess it's time for history to repeat itself."

Gabrielle wasn't sure what Trini was hitting on with that comment but looked on as Trini forced a light smile on her face.
