How often do you come to OB and why?

I tend to have a window to OB or myO open whenever I'm online--which isn't honestly all that often. (Actually, I tend to leave windows open when I'm at class or sleeping, because I forget to close stuff down, so I guess it is pretty often...but that's not really the same thing, heh.)

I enjoy posting here, particularly in the more light-hearted threads. Debates tend to get tedious for me, and I simply don't have an opinion on many of the topics presented. At the same time, they can be enjoyable to read, to a point.

I have plans (doesn't that sound dramatic?) to get more involved in the Arena in the future as well. Hopefully once this semester wraps up and I'm back at home, I'll have some more time to myself to just think and create things. It's weird, because I don't even do that much stuff here, but it seems like I've got very little downtime just to relax. I guess I've been preoccupied.

before these crowded streets,

Ehm, I come here once a week or so. I love debating and such, but I am more of a fan of MyO than OB, so I am on there most of the time. (User name Brokenkokoro if anyone wants to check my site out)

I'm sort of new to OB, so I don't know that many people here. Perhaps that's why I don't show up a lot. Who knows. *shrugs*

But, most of the time when I am here, I am bored because there is nothing to do on MyO. ^^

OB's the second site I go to every time I go online. I try to come here everyday and just read. I don't post a lot though. ^_^;

Lately, I've been spending time at OB Anthology since that forum's currently spiced up with cool stories. I also used to go to the Arena but stopped since I was a bit busy. I do plan to go back there and join some RPs.

Anyway, I also like happy threads. Debates are teh evil for me. They are the ones that make me flee from Otaku Lounge. I don't like them very much. *twitches*

Meh I come on now and again, I don't really have a set time that I use just for going on the OB, I?ll just come on randomly and if there?s anything that?s worth replying or having a say about then I?ll reply, and if there isn't I?ll just not do anything and go on MyOtaku, another site, or talk to my friends on msn or something. Your live shouldn't be controlled by going on one site.

I basically live in the Arena. Whether it's the Anthology or Square, I'm usually posting or reading something.

I come at least once a day, since I'm an OB "addict", you could say. There was a point where I didn't come all that often; just poking my head in once in a while. But that all changed when my dad (finally!) got a cable modem. Then I just wouldn't leave this place!

I'm currently signed up for over 6 RPGs in the Inn and I'm participating in just as many in the Square. And there are several threads in the Anthology that I stay tuned for because they're just so damn fun to read. (And I'm in one. >.>;; )

The other forums I peek in, but I don't participate nearly as much as I do in the Arena. But the art forums to get a visit from me more often than others. ^__^

OB is my homepage, I come on at around 10am on weekends, 3pm after school on weekdays and stay on for most of the night. I don't post anywhere (sometimes I do) other than the Arena, mostly trying new RPG's and joining new ones.

I'm not in many RPG's at the moment but I'm planning on trying Robin Hood 3005, which should be a big RPG for me. I also have to keep an eye on Sands of Time to keep it alive for the end of the first part. Most of the time I keep my computer on but go offline on the internet, and if I'm not on OB then I'm on the computer writting in Word or downstairs watching Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, there's nothing else on.

I also go on AHQ, a forum I'm a Mod on, AnimeForums... pretty good... and pop in on some FanFiction sites now and then, but most of the time I spend on OB.

I come out of force of habit. :P

No, that's not it, lol. I just like the feel OB has over other forums. And if you make it so you can't see any of the anime sections it's even better, lol. I visit whenever I'm making a check on the forums I visit, which, depending on my relative boredness, can be anywhere from once a day to once every ten minutes...

I come here about once or twice a day to read replies to the threads I've posted on. I also mess around here while I'm talking with my husband.

As for why, because I'm curious. I want to see what's new and if anyone read what I put up.

I like debate threads because I like to antagonize people for the sheer joy of it. I like news threads because I like to read various opinions. And I like other threads because I can't think of a good reason...oh look, a chicken!

Upon further evaulation I come here a lot because coming to OB is a heck of a lot cheaper than therapy

I come here multiple times a day, in the morbid hope of seeing someone else with a suicide thread. Sad[istical]ly, there have been none for a few months now.

On an average day, I'd come here once or twice during the day, generally at school for a few hours [I have heaps of free periods...this year] and maybe if I can at home. I post almost entirely in the OL, but keep an eye on Suggestions and Feedback, as well as PC and Play It.

Why do I come? Because I enjoy arguing, I enjoy the challenge, I enjoy any semblance of intellectual stimulation [rare, but precious] and I enjoy OB. I have been coming here regularly since I joined [May 03] and still haven't 'worn out' my welcome, which frankly, has been amazing during some of my earlier periods.

And I have made friends.

How often..Are you kidding. I practically never leave the OB. This is my second home. I come here to write with the best, talk to friends, help friends, and just escape from the norms of my everyday life. I've been a member since August of '03, and I think I have only officially logged off once, lol. I don't remember where I said this, but I'll say it again; The OB is my home. And being that, the Adventure Square is my bedroom.

All of my friendships on the OB are important to me. Everyone of them have helped me to develop better writing skills. They've helped me in IRL situations in which not one of my IRL friends could comprehend. Why is this? I'm not sure really. The only thing I could come up with is that since we are all writers, we are able to see things through words better than people can who are sitting infront of you. And depending on the situation, words mean more than a voice...to me anyway. I also learn from my OB friends. I couldn't begin to tell you what they have taught me.

I used to come to Otakuboards pretty religiously, posting everywhere and on anything in sight just because. However, as of late, I'm OB whenever I have a little downtime or spare time in between schoolwork or other things. Taking an active role in a MMORPG guild (along with AP classes) has taken up great amounts of my time.

I come here now mostly for the debates and occasionally a RPG. As of late, I haven?t been joining much that doesn?t have a name I recognize on it and/or haven?t been invited to. Frankly, I feel pressured to write my best and draft RPG post (It's a post-Kill Adam world, people...) so that's a major commitment.

I'm pretty much the same as Kitty.

I visit at least once per day, and I live in the Arena area, though I'm mainly found in the Square. I'm always in more than 3 RPs at one point in time, though often I get forgotten and drop out when I don't have time to post.
I often go into the Anthology to check up on the newest stories, though I usually don't comment because I can't think of a post long enough. ^^;;

But usually I go everywhere because there's points in time where nothing's happening in the Arena so I visit everywhere else.

I often visit Otaku Lounge and Art Studio when I'm bored, just for the new topics and stuff, like this one. ^^

It's unfortunate that a few of my close OB friends don't come on much now.

Guest Crimson Spider
When I first joined, I went here twice a day. Once I found out that this place doesn't run that fast, I begin to log in on a daily basis. This kept my advice at a steady stream.

Then I learned I had enough arrogance to debate. My visiting time stayed the same. Then when I started to grow apart from this place I eventually begin to come here on an every-other day schedule.

Eventually, with my purpose lost, I started to only come here once a week. Then one time, I quit showing up at all until now.

So I'm breaking a... what?... like an 8-month hibernation period posting here. Ever since my friend Kwany got a computer and signed up, I've been inspired to come here.

OB is probably the third forum that I check. I usually come here when I want to discuss or debate important (and sometimes silly) issues. The Otaku Lounge here is really layed back, this and the Anime Forum would have to be my favorite. Why i like it here? its less crowded and theres intelligent people (less U Rox LOL dat 2 is my favrite) which can get on my nerves. Everyone here has an opinion plus the layout drew me to these boards :) I like that i can express myself and talk about interesting topics besides "whats your favorite color?". Sadly I don't know many of the people here themselves, and most the people I know (or atleast have posted with for the most time being) are on (Animeonline.net (which has sadly been going slow lately) AnimeTalk.org and Minitokyo.net) those three forums. Until then this will always be last but it is still a great forum. Maybe I will join some RPGS in the future. I'll think on it :) Lately I've been too busy with WOW to post, i'll try and keep up.
