Dragon Warrior
That's right, folkies. Every year in art class we are forced to make houses :( It starts out sucking because making the frame of the house is rather hard with all the measurements and gluing and shiz, but once you get to decorating it and adding all the detail, it's surely the greatest project ever in there! Anyways, last year I made a pub. This be it! This year I'm making a Villa in the form of a tudor house (if you dunno what a tudor house is, look it up) to match this little jobby-do. This is the pub at an angle, so you're viewing the front and the side. You are now looking at the back and the other side of it. Nothing too exciting aside from the moss growing hirewire. This is the front. A nice view of the beastly thing. It's suppose to be a Christmas house, but Christmas ruins it because I can't have it out all year. Oh, and that barrel really sucks to act as if it's not there. I just wanted something terrible looking to add XD
Retribution
Looks awesome. I think you could've invested some more time painting the barrel. Maybe a different color like red with a black outline would've been better.
Dragon Warrior
Well, the deal with the barrel is that it was the last day for making the houses (and last day before Christmas break) and I had about five minutes or so, so I decided to make something. As a result, this barrel was made. I think in five minutes, it's okay-looking, but it's still a pile XD
Retribution
Now that you say that it took you five minutes, it looks really really good! Shoulda said something before.
Roxie Faye
I am such a scatter brain. I can't believe I forgot to comment. I'm soooo retarded. *_*;;; Making buildings is incredibly difficult - I'm trying to recreate the Temple to the Emerald Buddha inside the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand. Of course, I have a model to follow, but it's still incredibly difficult. The one thing that bugged me though, was the window pane - one of the vertical lines (the middle one) isn't glued down and it sticks out from the window a bit. It's just bothering me, and I almost had the impluse to try and glue it down, but I realized the monitor was in the way. Damn you, computer screen! *hiss* But other than that it's incredibly awesomeness! I commend Gavin for making a building totally from scratch - I could NEVER do that! I really like the pub - it's got this uhm... pub feel to it? O_o Er.... yeah. By the way what material is the actual "structure" of the pub made out of? Just wondering. ^^;
Dragon Warrior
I can't remember the actual name of it, but it's a form of cardboard that's pretty strong and doesn't bend all that easily. It takes a nice slice in it to get it to bend and stuff. As for the window bar, that'd be the faults of children. Ye see, after the houses are done, they're set on display. But stupid people have to touch. And where curious fingers go, so does my glue gun. I just recently touched this pub back up since the pub sign was torn off and the barrel unwound. The window bar was to the degree where hot glue couldn't fix it. Stupid kids. XD
Ryoko T.D.C.
Hah! That's sooo kewl! I wanna do that too! And what the funny thing is, is your powder blue/basket of flowers wallpaper! Hah! But still, that is cool. You should make a gingerbread house as well.
