I'm in the 11-15 age range. Thirteen and a half, about. I joined the OB one day after I saw Klin on it, mainly because I was still kind of hyper about anime back then. I don't like to say my age a lot because when I try to post on certain boards, people don't take me seriously. That pisses me off... >< So I've learned not to say my age too often.

I find the OB a better place to talk stuff other than anime, which is good. I'm not the squealy eleven-year-old oohing and ahhing over new DBZ episodes anymore, thank god.

I joined when I was fourteen, and I'm currently 18.

Back then it seemed like all the members were so much older and mature, as I was so young and immature.

I loved Anime then and still do to this day. Although I don't often visit that area of the forums, maybe occationally. I can usually be found in the Art section, movies, or the General discussion areas.

Honestly I think the forums have more younger people, or so it seems. Maybe its just me trying to re-live the past, but the forums arn't the same anymore. Granted I still visit and enjoy the endless options and such, but the people are diffrent, it has a diffrent vibe I guess you could say.

Anyway, I seem to be rambling.

I'm 13 years old. Sometimes I would also enter my age over 16 just so people won't treat me as a child with no knowledge whatsoever. Its annoying how some judge by your age. Sure they may not have been on the Earth as long as you but its more of how they act and represent themselves, is it not?

Well, I'm in the 11-15 range, being 13. In a couple months, though, I'll be 14(yay! Hurray March 13th!)

I've been here since... gah, I dunno. I got banned a couple times, though now I have definatley improved. I think I first joined back in 2001, or something like that. I found the boards, because my brother found theOtaku quizzes. We were obssesed with taking quizzes at the time. >.< Heh, of course, he's only 11, so my dad won't let him join.

I hardly believe that I am the same person...it is just so funny to see how I've grown and matured over the time that I've been here at the OB. I've never felt that but maybe it's because I rarely ever share my age. But I've been using the internet and chatting with people on it since I was 9 and I've never noticed that. I think I had either just turned 13 or was about to when I joined... yep I've only been here since March... thats only a bit more than half a year! Google is your friend. Heh, after looking through about...oh I don't know...a dozen sites I finally clicked on the link that brought me to the Trigun Shrine. I was dumbfounded by it's quality (Compared to some of the sites I had just seen, you would be too) and I delved into the site even more. Before I knew it, I was posting away. :D[/SIZE]

I don't know what happened but I started to go crazy for anything related to it. That was for like a year and a half and now I'm just like this. Again. I glance at something or tv or skim through a manga but that's it. I'm not really as psychotic about it anymore. And to make it worse, I would cry about missing an episode of Pokemon. So, I'm not really much of a fan anymore just an observer.

And I don't spend like any time here at all. I have hours left during the days and I'll spend them with me, a book, or a stove. My internet addiction faded away along with the anime urge. I just get on to check mail and stuff and then I'm gone. So, I'm kinda offended at people who say kids and teenagers spend so much time online chatting and such when they have better things they could be doing. Plus, lying about your age doesn't do you anything. I used to just because and it just made me feel worse because an older girl wanted to pick a fight with me and my momma had to get rid of her. It's just how you act that the people who don't give a damn about your age, actually care about.[/FONT][/COLOR]

I'm 19, 19 is a confusing, frustrating, and depressing age, especially when if you're like me and your parents constantly hint that you need to move out and you have no idea what you want to do with your life. I've been into anime since I was 13 even though I'm sure I had seen some more domesticated Japanese animation such Robotech, etc. before that. I joined OtakuBoards ... yesterday :)

So I joined, and I kept coming back for the Kaydaerin RPG, but unfortuanetally it was discontinued. My love for anime and talking to gamers who know what their talking about has kept me here. As for my friend? Lets just say, he didnt exactly READ the rules...

I'm 20. I joined OB a couple of days after my 18th birthday. I originally joined because my friend, Rico Tranzriq, used to be a mod here. Some of the older members might remember him. He hasn't posted in a full year, I believe.

I used to be really into anime. I guess I stopped watching other anime when I started concentrating on buying the whole [i]Excel Saga[/i] series; it took a year to do, by the way. Then I started working fulltime (in addition to school), and had less time to watch/buy anime. I'd lost my stride in these boards, for a while. I was visiting less, and pretty much limiting myself to usual inspections of the Music, Movies & TV forum. I'm getting my momentum back, though.
