The reason they call the band Otep is because the vocalist's name is Otep Shamaya, and personally, I think she is really really hot. This band is really great, and since the very first time I heard them about three months ago I have loved them. If you haven't heard of this band, you should get their album. The riffs got repetitive on a few songs, but that's not necessarily uncommon anymore in metal. It's kinda funny that the singer is a chick, especially after you hear her voice on the songs, lol.
