Guest Good Rev Roger
Considering I live in California and all it does is rain, rain and more rain over here, having snow would be very welcoming. I haven't seen snow since I was probably around 10 years old :( sad really. I use to go up to Lake Tahoe and ride a sled down a hill. That was the funnest thing, oh and snowball fights! I'd definately have to say Sleding although I'm bigger now I'd probably fall over but thats the only thing I really remember. If only it snowed in CALI...*Sigh* oh well. back to the stupid rain. [/SIZE']
it does in NO CAL...alot... *winces at the 8-ish inches in 1 day today with no sign of letting up* snowball fights and sledding are fun and all, but don't forget the crappy road conditions, shoveling, the cold, the wet, and poweroutages. Sara
I hate snow and I hate the cold.[/size']
I have to admit, I'm a big fan of being warm, heh. Still, I can't imagine living somewhere where it's actually warm all year long. It'd be just nutty. One thing I will say that I do not care for about winter is Driving in the Snow. Losing control of your vehicle is not a fun experience. The first time it happened to me was crazy, too--I didn't just slip a little on the ice, turning a bit too far or not stopping for an extra second. The car I was driving started fishtailing down the street, veering across both sides of the road. I was trying to "steer" is to keep it from crashing into the snowbanks on either side of the street, but all I could really do was send it veering in the other direction for a second or two before I had to spin the wheel the other way. Then the whole thing just starting spinning around (while heading every closer to the the end of the dead-end road). It spun around three times, and an extra half-spin put me finally skidding to a stop, facing the direction I had come from. Which was good, because if I'd've had to try and pull a Y-turn, I probabably just would have gotten out of the car, left it, and walked to the house of my nearest friends. I've never been so shaken in my life, heh. I ended up slowly driving away to said friends' house (they weren't there, but their parents were) and calmly asking for a glass of water. It's funny in retrospect, but yeesh. Heh. Fortunately, I've never had another experience quite so extreme as that. punk rock 101, Sara

I still only have my permit (seeing as I turn 16 in March), but last week I drove alone because I had to go get my mom's car, and she followed me in our other car, and right on a patch of ice, three deer ran out in front of me. I'll tell you, inexperienced driver + ice + deer= very, very disturbed driver.
Nate
I like to eat the yellow snow. :D Actually, I don't really go out in it, except to snow-skate. It's quite fun, snowskating, especially when my hill of a driveway gets halfs snow, half ice. Then you don't need a board, just slide on your feet/butt/knees. I bet it would rock to be where you are, Azurewolf. _-Nate-_
AzureWolf
I bet it would rock to be where you are, Azurewolf.
What? Huh? What's going on now? O_o Why would it rock to be in New Jersey? We're like, New York Jr. and Pennsylvania's pot-smoking brother. Well, if you are referring to the two-week freeze warning, last week was the second week. Everything is now disturbingly hot (either that, or all the physical labor makes it feel so). It did snow once more over here and made the same amount of snow as last time, but because there's no more cold weather, it wasn't anything to worry about. Xmas day was very sunny, haha. In fact, a lot of the days don't have any dark, depressing clouds and I'm greeted with a slap to the face every morning. Good times... Did I mention I'm not too fond of snow?
Erika
Since it's more rainy than snowy where I live (Hood River, Oregon) we get snow only if it gets cold enough. We do get it though, it just sometimes melts within a few days or something. But last winter we had a bad storm, and most of the main high/freeways were blocked off because they were pretty dangerous (very little milk in our stores for about a week lol). We really don't get any snow until around this time of year, more towards New Year's/January.

I used to like the snow even more before I got my driver's liscence and worked full time. Because even if the schools were closed I still had to go to work. Damn you school children! Damn you!
