Some people think of it as the best holiday ever created. But to other people, it's the loneliest day of the year. At Penny Lane High in Liverpool, students from all around come to their famous Masked Valentine's Ball and Banquet. (But the parents are never too happy with it, since it's also the party with the highest amounts of drinking, drug use, and casual sex.) It's a time when new relationships are started, and old ones are celebrated or broken up. It's the biggest social gathering of the year, and many people are outcast or made fun of for not having a date for the party. Some of the kids could care less about having a date. But to others, it's the most important thing in the world. Like Anna Tilden, one of the local creeps at the school, for example. Anna was a very average girl, or at least you would think she was if you talked to her. But nobody knew how obsessive she could be sometimes. When she wanted something, nothing else mattered to her until she got it. she would usually obsess over it until it became healthy. And if she knew she could never have it, she would make sure no one could. Now with the Valentine's Ball coming up, Anna is determined to find true love. Even if she has to force someone to have feelings for her. Recently, she's developed a big secret crush on Elliot Hayden. A boy she sees in her English, Art, and Band classes. She takes pictures of him when he isn't looking. She's the one who stole the pair pf boxers from the boys' locker room that he thought he had lost. (Anna finally got some pictures of him undressed that day. And now, she wears his boxers almost everyday.) One night though, her secret crush was almost discovered by Elliot. She snuck into his bedroom window on the second floor of his house, undressed, climbed into his bed, and lay down next to him. She barely had enough time to get dressed and get out of there, before he woke up. What Anna doesn't know, is that Elliot is gay. (Although he won't admit it to himself.) If she ever found out, or if he turned her down for the Valentine's ball, there's no telling what she would do... ************** Elliot opened his bright blue eyes, slowly. His room was dark, and the ceiling was painted with strange shadows. He sat up and looked out the window. Raindrops were sliding down the glass, and there were occasional flashes caused by lightning. But the strange thing was, a black bird was sitting just outside the window. Elliot blinked and it was gone. It must have been his imagination. Elliot turned off his alarm. It was playing, Mother by Pink Floyd. He yawned and got out of bed. After grabbing some of his things, he started getting ready for school. Elliot went into the kitchen and looked at a clock on the wall. He still had enough time for breakfast. He fixed a bowl of oatmeal, and sat down to eat. His mom wasn't home as usual. She worked almost all day, everyday, ever since her husband left her. His sisters must have left earlier than he did, because they weren't around anywhere. It seemed that he was the only one in the flat today. Elliot took another look at the clock, and saw that it was getting late. He took one last bite of his oatmeal and put it in the sink. He grabbed his bookbag and umbrella, and walked to the end of the street to wait for the bus. When the bus finally came, Elliot folded up the umbrella that had managed to keep his blue hair and effiminine features from getting wet. His hair used to be a bit longer, but people mistook him for a girl too often. And not just from behind. But it wasn't like it had helped much. He still was teased because of his soft face, small hands, and delicate voice. Elliot walked to the middle of the bus. He thought he noticed Anna Bloomington, a girl in some of his classes, staring at him, but when he looked at her, she was looking out the window. He sat down in his usual spot, and put his bookbag in the seat next to him to reserve it for a certain someone. The bus took off, but a few minutes later, it stopped again to let more kids on. Elliot looked up and smiled at his blue-haired friend, Imi. "Hey, Imi. Wanna sit down?" He said, as he took his bookbag off the chair. Imi nodded and sat down next to Elliot as usual. Elliot and Imi had known each other for a long time. But unlike Elliot, Imi was gay. But he didn't let something like that ruin their friendship. Elliot could care less about Imi going out with guys instead of girls. "So, what's up? Are you ready for that play we have to write, today?" Elliot asked Imi.
Ezekiel
Imric sighed and leaned back in his seat, twisting his bottom half to get comfortable. Elliot giggled next to him and the taller boy looked down, raising an eyebrow. "What's so funny, squirt?" he teased, messing up Elliot's hair. The young boy closed an eye and frowned cutely, causing Imric to chuckle and remove his hand. "Of course I'm ready for that play, you forget, English is my speciality..." Imric trailed off from his gloating as another passenger climbed onto the bus. Imric eyes lingered on his tall frame for a few fleeting seconds, before the two makes made eye contact, "What are you staring at, Connor?" Imric shrugged, "Aren't I allowed to look, Graves? Or is that illegal for homosexuals?" Jack twitched and walked over to Imric, grabbing his chin, "I don't like you, and I don't want you to like me. So stay. Out. Of. My. Way!" with that, the boy let go and pushed Imric back forcefully, knocking some of the air out of him. Elliot glared at Jack and was about to say something when Imric pt a hand on his shoulder, keeping him silent. Frankie
The rain didnt stop her. She walked to school every single day and this day was no different. Each time her feet hit the wet pavement a splash was sent up... The ground was covered in a thin layer of water that had all kinds of things in it... Oil, Gas, and an assortment of trash along the sidewalk. She ignored all of it. With both hands shoved deep into her pockets she walked along towards the school. The school bus went by and she noticed a few people on the bus but didnt really care. She avoided getting splashed by it as it went by and soon arrived at the school before it did due to its multiple stops and turns to pick up other people. She walked up the stairs and before going inside removed her waterproof trench coat and shook it dry. She walked inside and made her way down the crowded and noisey halls to her locker... She threw her coat in and took out her backpack... She never took her work home... She always did it the day it was assigned and was always finished before the school day was over. She had better things to do with her free time. No one else knew or cared about what she did during her free time. She threw the backpack over her shoulder and while still holding onto one of the straps makes her way to her first class... She was stopped along the way by a teacher. "Rae... I hope you have that report I assigned." The teacher stared at her. "Yeah yeah I got your Report... " With that Rae wandered to her first class... Her hair was still dripping wet but she seemed to ignore it. She got to her first classroom and threw her backpack into her seat and left the room again. She didnt want to sit there for fifteen minutes waiting for the class to start. She wandered around and went back outside. She stood by the front doors and watched people arrive. The over hang kept the area around the doors dry. The doors creaked as each person swung it open and it screeched almost every time it tried to slowly flow shut only to be pulled open again by someone else. Rae shook her head and leaned against the wall. This day, like all the others, was going to be long and boring.
Retribution
It was another day, as the alarm sounded in Alex's bedroom. He stood up, got dressed, brushed his teeth, and went downstairs. Breakfast, as usual, was cereal, which was hastily wolfed down in an attempt not to be late for school. "Good morning Alex" "Same to you too, Mom," Alex returned the greeting to his mother. He put on his Adidas, and grabbed the car keyes. He exited his house, and ran to his car -- one of those generic Toyota five seaters, about two years old and navy blue in color. It wasn't a half-bad ride. He pulled away from the curb, and after a rather short 5 minute drive he was at school. He sprinted inside the school to avoid getting drenched. Being wet sucked. He stopped for a few minutes, chatting with his friends, talking about nothing really. All of them sauntered around the halls, and milled about with no real purpose, then scattered like crazy as soon as the bell rang to signify the start of classes. Alex wasn't stupid enough to wait that long though; he got his books, threw them into his book bag, and walked into his first period class. As usual, Rae was sitting two rows ahead of him, and soaking wet from the rain. The teacher made his way to the front of the room, begging for the rowdy class' attention. "Excuse me. Excuse me!" No one even looked at him. And who would? He was rather short, soft-spoken, and wasn't very interesting or funny. Maybe the class took pity on him, as they started to lower their voices, so that he could be heard above the din of teenage conversations. He seemed rather pleased. "Alright, class. Today..." -------- OOC: Some one make something happen on this. I put myself in Rae's class so that I could at least be in contact with one of the people in the role-play. Frankie
Rae wasnt to pleased with today... As usual Rae didint talk with anyone she just stared up at the front of the class waiting for the teacher to do something... Productive. This after all was Creative Writing... And it was one of Rae's best classes. The teacher pulled the over head to the middle of the classroom and turned it on. He wrote the topic for the days warm ups. "Today id like you all to start off by writing A short story... Later we will get into writing for more creative things... Uh.. yeah." The teacher glanced around and noticed Rae was the first to get what she needed out and start writing. Then the teacher shook his head and sat at his desk. "When your done bring them to my desk..." He wondered how many people actualy heard him say this but within a few minutes Rae brought up a full 2 pages of writing. She ran her hand through her wet brown hair and returned to her desk... She sat there doodleing in her notebook. A few grim reaper pictures... some odd dragons and a few different styles of fire... She was now adding a tiger to the collection. Retribution
Alex quickly wrote his short story. He wanted to be an author, probably just like the rest of the kids in the room. After all, Creative Writing was an elective. His story was his favorite genre: Science Fiction. His parents liked the classic novels of 'Catcher in the Rye,' or 'Animal Farm,' the boring stuff, but they let him do what he wanted. He turned his paper into the teacher, who grinned at him like a hungry animal. It was his way of saying "Good Job!" to Alex. He was the top of his writing class, so he quickly gained the respect of him. Alex's eyes instictly went to the short teacher's focal point -- his shiny bald head. Blinking quickly, he spun around and went back to his seat and watched others scribble down their stories in their notebook. Alex picked up a pencil and started twirling it dexterously in his fingers, bored. A few people turned their papers in, and were met with the annoyed look of the proffesor's smile. Soon, all of the class had turned in their short stories. It had taken 20 minutes. "Wonderful, now, if you would please write for me a poem, of any kind. I will call upon a few of you to read your poem out-loud." The class went back to scribbling their poems on paper, some rubbing their head to massage their thoughts out onto the paper. Poetry was not quite as easy as coming up with some lame, short plot. This took a little more time. "This is a pop-quiz. I won't grade you on how good it is, only on your use of poetic devices." "Of course, you're lying," Alex whispered under his breath. The teacher always lied. "Did you say something, Alex? Maybe I heard something..." "Oh, nothing. Sorry." Sword Breaker
Robbie, leaning back in his chair, sighed heavily. His face deeply reflected his resentment for English class. He hadn't bothered to write a poem, so, when the teacher had called, rather sarcasticly, on Robbie to read his aloud, he merely shrugged and accepted the 0. And, as the first person, Alex, began to read his aloud, Robbie drifted into sleep. He awoke soon after, as his teacher brought the a meterstick down heavily on his desk, sending a loud crack resonating through the room. Robbie, completely suprised, had jolted upright with such force that he completely toppled backwards, head over heels. "Jesus chirst, don't do that!" Robbie screamed, clutching his head. The entire classroom was thrown into a fit of laughter, as Robbie climbed, rather embarassed, to his feet. "Ahahahah!! Great job, Rob, 10 bloody points." One of his friends exclaimed wildly, before once again being consumed by laughter. "Go to the office. See you at lunch." The teacher said half-heartedly, for he was far to used to it by now. "Gotcha." Robbie said, half pleased. He preferred the office to his class anyway, but he was rather pissed about the lunch DT. Oh well, he thought, just skip it like all the others. Still grinning, Robbie grabbed his things, and left the room with a casual wave. He figured he wouldn't be alone long, since his friend, Chris, was always thrown out right after Robbie. He figured right. In under 10 min, Robbie was chatting happily with Chirs, and having a rather good time. "Hahahaha, that was priceless, mate!" Chris had exclaimed happily, still laughing. "Beats his class, now don't it?" Chris nodded in agreement, before both of them snuck out of the office, and out into the hallway. "So, whaddya say we hit the bars, mate!" Chris said, and Robbie nodded in agreement, before he pulled out his wallet. And they were off.
Frankie
Rae flipped her notbook to a clear page and write slowly... She was feeling strange and just didnt feel like putting any effort into the poem so she wrote what came to hyer brain first. Her scribbling was fast and a bit messy but she wanted to get it over with... She my like the class but not when they did things like this... She liked stories... Novles... not small things such as poetry. She gave it to the teacher and sat back down. "Would you like to read this to the clasS?" The teacher said more of a command not a question. "No... I wont... For two reaosns... One im just not good at poetry... and two.. Even if i did no one would understand it... There is no point..." Rae turned back to her doodle page and began drawing a person... Perhaps someone she knew or someone for a story... no one knew. "Can be excused? Im not feeling to well..." Rae asked suddenly. "Uh... Yeah i guess... Take the pass..." Rae nodded and grabbed her stuff... She took the hall pass which was actually a rular with the teachers name and room number on it and headed out the door. She made her way down the hall and into the girls restroom... She looked to see if any one was around and went to the first stall. Instantly she doubled over and threw up. This went on for a bit and once she was finished she stood up right and flushed the toilet. She wiped her face off and leaned against the stall wall. "Thats the second time today... whats going on... Oh well..." She left once she wasnt feeling sick anymore and returned to class... She gave the teacher his ruler back and went to her desk after glancing at Alex... She shook a few thoughts out of her brain and sat down.
Annie
Another day at school, the hell hole of exsistence for most teenagers. Students flooded school grounds, chatting about random topics. Recently, the gab had revolved around the annual Valentine's Ball. Girls discussing their masquerade gowns; guys discussing who was going to have the hottest date. All petty, teenaged talk. Talk that ate at Oscar. An annoyance, sheer annoyance. "Stupid. This is all stupid.." Oscar grumbled and pulled up on his bag. The hallways echoed with laughter and yelling, locker doors slamming, teachers rushing the students to class. The bell rang and the hallway crowd turned into a herd. Oscar slid to the side and waited for a clearing. Once he was certain he'd escape being trampled, Oscar darted into his first class; Creative Writing. "..set them on my desk when you have finished," the teacher sat at his desk. The students all whispered to eachother. Cruel, harsh words they spoke. Oscar shifted uncomfortably at their conversations. A couple of girls behind Oscar scolded the teacher for being "gay". "Look at his suit, really, what man wears that color?..and he has too soft of a voice..his hands are too dainty..he's so clean..his skin is clearer than mine.." Oscar sat deeper into his chair, tapping his pencil so hard that it snaps. His friend, Justin, nudges his side. "Say something to them. I know you want to," Justin placed a hand on Oscar's story. "No, I'll embarrass them some other way.." Oscar pulled out a pen and began to write furiously. Twenty minutes later, deep in thought, Oscar was snapped to reality with a light brush of wind. He looked up to see Rae drop a pile of pages of her short story on the teacher's desk. The teacher looked through her story with awe. Rae was known for her swift writing skills. She sat back in her seat on the opposite side of Oscar. Her pencil scribbled with detail. Oscar knew she was drawing. "What did you write about?" Oscar leant over her shoulder.
Retribution
OOC: I had to name the teacher. Hope you guys don't mind it. --- IC: The teacher's frantic eyes darted from person to person. He was looking for another victim -- a person to read their poem outloud. His eyes rested on his favorite and most advanced student. Alex. If it had been any other class, Alex wouldnt've been at the top, maybe in the top 10 in the class, but this wasn't another class. "Mr. Harrison, why don't you read your poem to us." Alex's heart dropped. He became nervous, but didn't want to let this teacher have his way. Alex stood up, and dropped his eyes onto his paper, not able to look the teacher in his eyes. Those black, glazed, annoying beetle eyes is what made him afraid of speaking. "I call it 'Love.' It's a haiku... which compares love to a game without using 'like' or 'as,' therefore making it a metaphor. This is I don't think there are any other poetic devices." Alex cleared his throat, and read: "Love, a game of chance What if they don't love you back? A toss of the dice." Alex turned his eyes upon the teacher once again. Did he like it? "Very interesting poem, Mr. Harrison. What do you think it means?" "I think it's very obvious. I love someone, but I'm not sure if they love me back. When you toss dice, you can't be sure of the outcome. Just like love." "Thank you. You may take a seat." He quickly sat back down, and took a look around the room. Oscar was leaning over Rae's shoulder, a few other people were shooting rubber band volleys across the room, a couple was making out just outside the door, and making a racket. Mr. Sanchez walked over to the door, knocked on it, and the couple scurried away like rats. "Any others want to present their poems?"
Frankie
Rae shifted in her seat to get a better look at Oscar... He blinked, "What?" Rae's smile kinda shifted to a emotionless look, "I see someone was a bit late..." "Yeah well... eh... Ill ask again... What did you write about?" Oscar asked. Rae glanced at Oscar and smiled, "What did I write about? Well the short story was simple... It was merely about a dream... A girls dream about an alternate world where... She actualy belongs..." "What about the poem?" He asked. Rae shifted back to look stare at the front of the class and blinked, "Its about the human soul..." ---------- ooc: Rae's next class is Algebra... or whatever
Revelation
OOC: So that there is no confusion, Sonata was saving me a spot in this RPG. I told her to call me Arika, but I totally forgot whether or not if she was talking about me. But, she did tell me she saved me a spot in this. ^_^ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking confused as to what class she should be at, Jenessa checked her schedule. She was a new student at Penny Lane High School. It was her father's job that moved them around so much, but this place in Liverpool was final and permanent. Somehow Jenessa didn't like it and felt as if strange things happen all the time. With a sigh, Jenessa came to her first class, Creative Writing. She opened the door and walked in, the students' heads turned and looked to her. She stood with a schedule in her hand and her left leg slightly bent. The teacher looked her up and down and disapproved of the outfit she wore. He cleared his throat. "Yes? Is there something I can help you with? Are you new?" Walking, the students saw what she wore. Jenessa had on black pinstripe pants that were slightly below her hip bones, burgundy corset with a black cover, black ankle boots, various items on one silver chain, several piercings, and her hair in a spiky bun. Jenessa stood smacking her gum as she looked at the teacher. "And what if I am?" There was a tone of rebellion in her voice. Everyone was taken aback, even the teacher. "Anyways, are you," Jenessa looked at her schedule and looked back up. "Mr. Sanchez, the Creative Writing teacher?" "Yes, I am. You must..." Mr. Sanchez quickly looked to his new note and saw her name, which was native to his words. He had trouble announcing her name. "Jen...Jennie..." "Yes, sorry to interrupt you, but...it's Jenessa Valcomeir, as in the beginning syllable of generic and the ending of vanessa, and Val-Co, as in and corporated, mare, a female horse. So it would be Jenessa Valcomeir." His cheeks flushed, Mr. Sanchez cleared his throat as some of the students giggled. "Yes, well, Jenessa, the students were reciting poems that they wrote. Find a seat and we'll catch you up soon." "If it's alright with you, I'd like to recite a poem that I wrote while I was on the plane coming down here." "Quite alright. Go ahead." Putting down her back pack, the boys in the front row could see down her shirt a bit and were leaning to have a better look. Knowing this, Jenessa put a finger to her lips and flipped them off. They "ooh"ed, yet she didn't care. When Jenessa found her poem, she stood and unfolded it, reciting the written words. "The faces I see, the stories I write, the pictures I take, the memories I store, the music I sing, the movies I watch, the people I meet, the friends I know, what good are they if I cannot feel the growth that they take? My face is weary, my eyes are worn, yet my tears tell a story within my heart. My body walks, my hands move, yet my soul longs to return. And what good is that if I cannot leave this binding promise? A ghost is who I become, ethereal in image and sound, never to be seen again. A fading picture is what is seen, a static voice is what is heard, and then I'm gone. Tell me, what good is that when I'm not there? The silence in the winds, the parting of the clouds, and the color that washes away, Where does it go? What can I do? All I want to know is, what good is that? What good is that, when all I can do is forget about it all."
Retribution
OOC: Maybe we should be issued schedules or something, so that we're not making up where we go. I think I'd make for a great plot device. Just my 2 cents. ------ IC: RIIIIING! The bell screeched, signifying the time when students could leave the first hell hole, and jump into the second one. Alex's second period was physical education. It wasn't really all that bad. It was mainly a time to use your physical energy, which calmed him down, let him get rid of the stress. Besides, it was co-ed; you can't go wrong with girls. "And that's all she wrote, people." That was Mr. Sanchez's way of saying, 'Good-bye,' but it wasn't very funny. Everyone picked up their books, backpacks, purses, and walked out the door. Several girls shyed away when Alex walked past them. He had seen other guys get shot down from thinking they actually liked him. He learned from other's experiences -- good or bad. "Thank God we're outta there," Alex said to no one in particular. As much as he enjoyed writing, he didn't like his teacher. Oh well. He got to the locker room, where they got changed into their PE clothes, so that girls wearing mini-skirts and high heels don't twist their ankle while running around. The PE teacher told them that it was indoor class, since it was still raining. The guys got changed before the girls, but stayed inside the locker room, talking about the Valentines Day Dance. Apparantly, about half of them said they were going to have sex with their girlfriends either during or after the dance. "Yeah right, you aren't gonna do it with your girlfriend, man. Most of you are just gonna say that cause he said it." Alex gestured to the guy who started the conversation. "Whatever. Shut the fuck up, Alex. You aren't gonna get any." The trash-talker was obscenely vulgar, but there was a beam of truth to his words. "Yeah, so what? Just cause I don't have sex with a girl means I'm not a guy?" "Basically." The arguement was cut short by the coach yelling into the locker room. "Come on out, or you're getting a lunch detention." The school was rather strict, Alex thought. Everyone walked on out of the locker room, and met up with the girls in the hall way, patiently waiting for them. The crowd of guys converged upon the girls, chit chatting about whatever struck their fancy, and they all went into the gym together. --- OOC: Could someone be in my class please? I want to make it interesting.
Onix
Jack leaned back in his chair, a seat in the far back of course, brooding as usual. His feet were propped up on his desk, and the small earphones were covered by his long hair. The teacher was blathering on about some bullshit that Jack probably already knew. Fucking cops, taking my fucking liscense so I have to ride the fucking bus with those fucking losers...all I did was run one goddamn red light and the fat ass cop reads me the goddamn riot act! Fucking justice my ass. Then they take my liscence for 'reckless endangerment' and 'resisting arrest'. I wasn't going to be arrested, so how can I resist arrest? Jesus fucking Christ. A shudder suddenly ran down his spine. Not from the cold, but as if someone was watching him. He looked up, and half the class was staring at him, some in disbelief, some laughing. Suddenly, the face of his teacher darted in in front of his face. "Mr. Graves pay attention!" the older man yelled. Jack casually pulled out one earphone and, cool as 0 Celsius, said, "I'm sorry, you'll have to repeat that." Several people gasped in awe. Some laughed, and it sounded like one person fell out of their chair. Blood flushed into the teacher's face, and his eye twitched threateningly. "Take of the headphones, Mr. Graves. Now." "Eat me, teach," Jack said. At least two other people fell out of their chairs, and a few let out a whoop of laughter. One person yelled, "Good one, Jack!" The teacher's hand was shaking as he pointed to the door. "Office...now!" "Whatever. Probably knew whatever bullshit you were spewing anyway." The room was struck silent as Jack left the class. He traveled the familiar route to the office. He stepped inside, and the secretary stared for a moment. "Back again, Jack?" "You know it, Audrey."
Frankie
By now Rae's hair had dried and she walked slowly towards her next class. She stopped by her locker and opened it up. Inside was about three differnt notes. One was from Some girl (Rae could tell by the hand writing) Going on about something girly... Rae rolled it up and tossed that one in the treash. The second one was another flyer about the dance... this one had the same fate as the first. The third however was from someone else... "Why are you so shadowy?" The note was either to her from someone who disliked how she acted Or from someone who was simply curious. Rae balled it up as well and tossed it over her shoulder... It made it all the way across the hallway and into the trash. "If they dont have the decency to write their names on it I cant and wont reply... Why dont people learn!" She mainly said to herself... After a bit of time she made it into her next class... She wasnt to please with this... and that sick feeling was beggining to come back. ----------- ooc: I changed my mnd on the algebra thing... So if anyone wants to throw me into their class or something have at it... (i hate math in the morning lol so i figured nevermind)
Guest Sean
OOC Stupid time-zones and all that shizzle. Oh well, I'll just be late. IC Beep, beep, beep, beep This went on for a good while before Matt realised what it actually was. His alarm clock continuously beeping, alot of good it did. Still beeeping and he had already missed his first class, and probably half of the second. Gah, I'm not getting there until way past 3rd period. He changed the beeping to 'Sweet Child O' Mine' by Guns and Roses, then got up slowly, piping it through the shower radio/CD player. Not his favourite song by them, but a great song none-the-less. He preferred Pink Floyd but he had just given out 'Dark Side Of The Moon' to one of his friends, so he just used his compilation of random GnR, Pink Floyd, AC/DC and Velvet Revolver for his use of entertainement. Out of the shower, he quickly got his clothes on and left abruptly for school, turning of the CD player, but taking his iPod Mini which featured alot of songs by KoRn, Pink Floyd again, Metallica, and Guns and Roses. He ran, not caring about the stitch that had appeared in his side, and battered his way through the forest. Arriving just as Period 2 finished. He signed in at the office and was now registered to goto his classes. He thoguht to himself Where's everybody then?. And what's my next class. Ah Art, mehHe walked slowly ambling into his class, he noticed that the girl Rae was just sitting down as he handed the teacher his late form. OOC Altron, the timetable thing has been tried, and it just doesn't work. Me and Alice have RP'd countless ammount of times, and trying to use a timetable doesn't work. Plus everyone doesn't have to be in the same classes. I'll probably break of into a different class instead of the same as you guys.
Retribution
OOC: I wasn't suggesting a time table, only a schedule, so that after the first day we can have a steady routine. And you skipped 2nd period? I guess I'll make it a flashback/narraration thing to recap it. And Blanko, you said that Rae could be in a different 2nd period class. I'm going to make it PE. ---------- IC: They were playing dodgeball in PE today, which was good. Alex was good at it. He looked around the gym, and saw everyone break into their own little cliques. All except Rae. She looked somewhat sick to her stomach, and downcast. What's up with her? Alex thought. The PE teacher (someone else can name him) divided everyone into two teams, trying to keep things equal, and sent them to opposite sides of the gym. The only thing was, the teams weren't all that fair; Alex's team was going to be obliterated. The whistle blew, and the other team collected almost all of the 10 balls, and sent a volley over. Most of the preppy, make-you-sick girls got out. Only a few more guys, Alex included, Rae, and another girl were still left. "Volley! Fire!" Some of these kids took the game to seriously, acting like they were in the military or something. The other side let the balls fly two flying directly at Alex. He caught one, and deflected the other with the ball he just got. They could've returned fire, if he wasn't the only guy left. The two girls were still in, but things were looking bad. "Volley! Fire!" God. They were acting all high and mighty, and Alex was going to get out this time... he knew it. The rubber spheres rocketed towards the three. Alex stood in between the two girls. Man... I could save myself. Or I could save one of them... maybe get a date. At least show I like them. But which one? Alex, acting quickly jumped in front of Rae, caught one of the many balls coming towards her, took the rest in his body, and threw the ball he caught towards the other girl he liked, deflecting the ball going towards her Damn... that rubber hurts! Rae's face remained rather emotionless, but displayed a very small 'Thank you.' Of course, he efforts were in vain. They both were out in the last volley. Oh well. "Excuse me, can I go to the bathroom? I really need to go." Alex wanted to get out of class before the bell rang. "Sure, no problem. See you." The teacher was rather agreeable. Instead of going to the bathroom, he went to the locker room, got changed, got his backpack, and walked out into the hall. Where's her locker again? I can't remember her locker number... Oh right. Over there. He scribbled another note, folded the paper, and dropped it into her locker. Then we went to the bathroom to wait. The period had only a few minutes left. ------ OOC: I sort of leave it open to whoever's locker I'm dropping the note into. Whoever wants it, have at it. Revelation
Walking out of the classroom, she could see that the teacher was leering at her as she walked out. She was glad to have made a great first impression on the teacher. Jenessa looked down at her schedule and saw that her next class was AP Biology, a class that Jenessa was sure to despise. She walked towards the class and saw how many students were in an uproar by the upcoming events. "Lemmings and sheep." Jenessa had said quietly under her breath. Upon coming to class, several students stared at her, knowing she was new to school. Girls whispered, boys chuckled, and the teacher had his hands on the table. A smile was warming and inviting to Jenessa, but she merely gave her a slight nod. She wasn't fond of teachers, but not as nearly as the way teachers taught the study of human evolution. She knew, for a fact, that the teacher would despise her in this class, yet she didn't care. RIIINNNGGG! The bell signaled for class to start. Jenessa took a seat in the back and put her bag down. She twirled around with her necklace and stared at the teacher. He began to write the words Genetics onto the board. She knew this was going to be a long day from that moment.
Frankie
Rae left from the locker room and she staopped at her locker but then realized it was art and she didnt need to get anything yet. She passed her locker and headed to the art room. She had a few things on her mind but once she got into the art room it didnt matter much... She sat down at her table... There were quite a few tables in the class room... And stools and chairs around each one. Most people sat near the front... at the front tables. Rae on the other hand sat in an empty table in the very back... She avoided people most of the time and so why not in art? She still wasnt feeling to well and tried to ignore it. She grabbed her sketch book and waited for the teacher to give them the project for the week. "Hello class... I am Mr. Lagatutta the new art teacher. Id like for you all to take out your sketch books and draw something in this room. We will learn later about adding color but first just get your drawing down." Rae looked around... A heater... a Tv... computer sinks and kilns... nothing to interesting. Rae started drawing the teachers desk... Suddenly someone walked ito the room with a late note. Rae noticed it to be matt. When he sat down she flipped the page and decided to draw him instead. Drawing people was a better idea than a lousy desk.
Guest Sean
OOC No objections, heh. I get to be drawed ^__^;; IC Matt was in the same posture for nearly twenty minutes. Just gazing out of the semi-clean window, he was just staring at the field beside the school. Well not exactly, he had his mp3 Player smuggled in his pocket, and the headphones were hid behind his hear. If I were the moon, I'd be cool If I were a book, I would bend If I were a good man I'd understand the spaces between friends If I were alone, I would cry And if I were with you, I'd be home and dry And if I go insane Will you still let me join in with the game? Was ringing in his ears, he turned around just as the chorus came on. To capture the look of Rae. She's cool, I suppose, don't really know her that well. He stood up and walked over to her and sat down. "Hey, I'm Matt, I've not really talked to you, and I thought it my noble duty as a moron to come and talk to you" Rae smiled. "Nice to meet you Matt, I'm Rae if you didn't know, I'm not really the mingling person, hope you don't mind if I seem a bit obnoxious." "Obnoxious" Matt snorted "You haven't seen obnoxious until you've talked to moi" Rae laughed, and Matt seen her sneak of her note book into her bag. He ignored it and continued talking to his new friend. Well hopefully she was his new friend.
Frankie
Rae closed her sketch book before he saw what she was drawing and put it in her bag... She smiled... "I see you snuck a band into class..." "What?" "Your music... I could hear it earlier... Beleive me its not because its to loud its just i have great ears..." Rae wondered though why he was talking to her... most people left her alone... well except for that one Oscar kid... and then Alex guarded her from an attack in PE... Now Matt was talking to her... Perhaps she wasnt as unapproachable as she though she was. "Sooo Matt... Why were you late?" She asked making small conversation.
Guest Sean
"Alarm clock sucks" he laughed. So did she, Maybe we will be friend's then he thought to himself. He switched past a few songs, and landed on the only Blink 182 song that he liked 'Everytime I Look For You'. I never found out why you left him But this answer begs that question Too blind to see tomorrow Too broke to beg or borrow Young and Stupid, left wide open Hearts are wasted, lives are broken. He hummed along, letting Rae listen in as they were both sitting in silence for a while. He finally stopped the song and asked "Oh you should come to our band's gig tonight!" Her face lit up, but then went down again. "I dunno, I'll think about, not really into the alot of people scene." Matt laughed "We suck, there's barely anyone there, I'll let you backstage so you can go back there if there is alot of people." Rae smiled and replied.... OOC I wasn't sure what she would definetly say, so I'll let you take this ^__^;;
Frankie
OOC: I got permission to play two different girls due to lack of girls... so ill split up my posts... you will see what i mean. ---------------------- Rae nodded ,"Alright then... Sure Ill go. And perhaps If you guys really suck which I doubt I could help you out... " ~MEANWHILE~ In the office a girl stood there... waiting to be fully enrolled. She had just moved into town and was a little late at registering. She noticed a guy who seemed to have gotten in trouble or something... She smiled because any guy bold enough to piss off a teacher got good marks in her mind. She turned to the lady who was handing her some papers. "Your locker is in the south Hall... Its third period now but its about to end... So uh... Just go to your fourth period class... You need a map?" The girl smiled, "No... I know my way around this place... I was here once before a long while back... " She had very long blonde hair that flowed all the way down to her rear. Her hair was in two long braids. She had soft tan skin. Her eyes were crystal blue and they seemed to sparkle. She was wearing extreamly tight blue jeans with faded spots by the knees and on her butt. She was wearing black army boots as well. She was wearing an extreamly tight Red T-shirt. She had a tattoo of a flaming tiger on her left arm and one of a scorpion on her right arm. "Welcome Miss Tala Midnight." The lady at the desk said at last. ~BACK IN ART~ Rae smiled and nodded, "Yes sure... But where are you guys gonna be?" ------ ooc: Her name is Tala Midnight... Retribution
OOC: How does Tala act? I can only guess... I can edit my post if I missed the mark... I don't know what age she is either. Also, I missed posting for a whole period -- sorry. I guess I'll make up what I had then. ^.^ --------- IC: Alex had AP Physics third period. All the forumlas for work, distance and energy made his head spin. The teacher's voice was a droning monotone, and the room was rather warm; a sleep-conducive environment. He wasn't the only person nodding off either. In the middle of all the foggyness, were his jumbled thoughts. Should I have really saved Rae during PE? I mean... maybe I was acting like some sort of hotshot. Maybe she didn't want to be saved, or something like that. His head was in the clouds when the bell rang for fourth period. Thank God it's over. He picked up his bag, and shuffled out of the hot room, into the comparitively freezing cold hallway. His next class was Pre-Calculus. Another hell bringer. He slogged down the hall, wishing for lunch time and the relief it would bring him. Alex sat down in his seat in Pre-Calc., yawned, and took out his pencil and notebook. Stretching again, he glanced at the teacher, she was sitting down and writing in some grades. Then he looked at the doorway. Whoa... she's hot. I wonder what her name is. His thoughts couldn't be discerned by the expression on his face, and the only thing indicating his attraction was his lengthy 'glance.' He tore his eyes away, and looked back at the teacher, who called the girl over to her desk and they started talking quietly. Apparently, most of the guys in the classroom had the same idea as him, and most of them sat jaw-dropped at her beauty. "Class, listen up! This is..." She looked over at the new student, expecting her to finish the sentence. "Tala Midnight." She was quiet, but very confident and calm. "Yes. There's your seat," the teacher motioned to the seat adjacent to Alex's. Her seat was on his right side, and she was in the corner of the room. Tala walked over, and sat down in her assigned seat. The teacher began the class, as usual, and taught everyone. Almost everyone. Alex was madly scribbling a note to pass to her. "How are you?" -Alex It was pitiful he couldn't think of anything else to say to her... or more properly write to her. He looked at it again, feeling like it stood no chance on heaven or earth, and passed it over onto her desk. She looked at Alex, then read the note. ------- OOC: I guess you can make Tala react, since I don't know how she acts.
Frankie
Rae stood up before Matt could answer, "I have to go all the way across campus for my next class so um.. Just leave the info i need in my locker... 112A... Talk to ya later.." She smiled and put her hood up and headed out to her fourth period class. Rae walked into her algebra class... not many people were in this special class. There wasnt a teacher jsut a supervisor... The entire class did their work on the computers. Rae sat at computer 12 and logged on to her assignments. ~MEANWHILE~ Tala glanced at the note and smiled. She pulled out a fancey purple pen and began to write a reply. Hello... Alex. My name is Tala Midnight. Im new here... Just moved here from New York City. How are you? She handed the not back to him. It was a pretty cursive note with purple violot scented ink. Tala was strange like that. She smiled and pretended to pay attention to the teacher. ---------------- ooc: Tala... She has multiple attituudes... If people are nice to her shes kind sweet and nice back... An angel like attitude... if all they do is stare... drool and whoot or whistle... shes a bitch
