Who here loves to travel? Where to and where would you like to go someday?

I've been all over Europe and I loved it.

Heildelburg, Germany; Valkenburg, Holland; and London, England being my favorite places. I also love touring the countless castles and learning all of the history.

I just like traveling in general because I get to always experience a new culture, a new food, or learn some history that I never knew before. Traveling is a lot of fun for me.

I love traveling. I have been all over the United States except New Mexico, Arizona and north of New York. Other than that, I have been too all of the lower 48. I would really love to see Hawaii and Alaska someday.

Other than the US my travels have been fairly limited to Canada and the Bahamas. I am the least traveled in my entire family. I would love to travel to Europe, Japan and Austrialia someday. I am just waiting for a bunch of money to fall into my lap!

I felt guilty both times I went to the Bahamas. There is so much poverty there and when you are away from the "tourist traps" it is really sad seeing how poor the people are. It's such a stark contrast to the expensive resorts and casinos. The rich are extremely rich, the poor are really poor. It really was a depressing.

As for travel in my near future, I only have a New Year's Eve trip to Seattle planned. Hey, it beats ringing in the new year in my one horse town!

I wish I could go traveling. I went to Florence, Italy once. Was a beautiful town. A very astounding place to visit. I would love to go back one day, hopefully to explore more of Italy.

Yes, I am one of those guys who wants to go back-packing across Europe. What can I say? lol

I was born in Hawaii so I love to get out, perferably to explore more humid climates. I'm going to Jamaica in May, can't wait!

I'm not much of one for Europe, although others have enjoyed it deeply. I've never been, but I'd love to go all over Sinic and South-East Asia. For some reason those areas enchant me, and I know o so little about them.

Even if its only one town down the highway, I love to travel, and never fail to take a travel opportunity that falls on my lap. I love the excitement of new, and unexpected things. A chance meeting with a stranger could lead to a huge twist in the story of my life.

I love the anonymity that it brings. In my town, my Dad is the pastor of the major church, so I'm pretty much known by everyone. I love walking into a mall or restaurant, and being nothing more than the latest customer to the myriads that surround me. That lonelyness is one of the most pleasing things in all of the world to me.

I hate tourism though. I travel, I don't tour. Shiney shirts and Sandal's resorts are not my ideas of true excitement and glory. I want to be living it up, we all do, but at the same time, I want to be in the real world more, not isolated from problems.

JetSet GlobeTrotting = The Life.

Me! I love to travel. Unfortunately, I haven't been outside the country. It's really sad. :(

Anyway, I'd like to go to a lot of places. Of course, I want to go to Europe and tour those castles like Japan said. I also want to go to Egypt and see the pyramids, lol, and China to go to the Great Wall. Hmm... I want to go to the US and maybe just go state hopping or something >.>

I want to go to Japan too, not because of anime originated there but, because I love their culture so much. Then, since I'm already from Asia, I'd like to visit other cool cities and relaxing and secluded resorts in other Asian countries. AND, let's not forget Australia, because I don't want to just travel there but I'm dying to live there ^_^

Travelling is cool mainly because I get to eat different kinds of food, lol. Then there are the awesome sites and architectures. Of course, travelling would be so much better when you're with a friend or a group. And don't forget to bring home souvenirs!

I love to travel. I?m one of those people who?s been out in different countries a lot but has been to a select few states!:-D but that?s fine with me I enjoy going to different countries and experiencing the different cultures (plus they have better foods!) I once wrote a poem with all the countries we?ve been to? but sadly I can?t find it right now. Most of our travels have been in Europe and because we used to live in the Middle East we?ve vacationed in other countries there before. I?ve always wanted to go somewhere in Asia though. My dad is (I believe) the only one in our family who?s been to Asia because his business trips constantly take him there. I love traveling because of the different cultures you can experience. The most recent countries we visited where France and Germany. But we went two summers ago? I hardly call that recent. Anyways we visited Paris and got to walk around everywhere in Paris and the underground was so much fun to ride on! (Though it?s quite interesting that they have some brand new lovely looking trains and then a bunch of completely graffiti-afied old train.) And it was great fun in Germany. We stayed in Heidelberg and got to visit this one awesome castle that?s name escapes me now? but still. The only way to get up to it was to climb this huge paved hill (it?s so hard but soooo fun!^^) and we got to go to the hobstraza(sp?) like every day we were there! And chocolate ice cream in Europe is so much better! Richer? darker? anyways, we?re planning a trip to Italy soon because my moms great Aunt (I think) is really sick so we want to go visit her. Besides the last time we went to Italy I was either 5 or 7 when we went for two of my Aunts and Uncles wedding (they had a joint wedding). And I was trying to plan a trip to England since we haven?t been there in forever. Then I?m also trying to get my family to go to Korea and Japan which seems quite a bit more likely since the dollar isn?t as low there as it is in Europe.

Not Fair... everyone else has been outside of the country... except me. Technically, I've never been out of the States, but I went to the Virgin Islands, which were US Territories. I want to go to Europe, China, and Japan when I can.

Flying by airplane rocks. Especially first class. (w00t!)

My favourite place to go would have to be Denmark. It's closest to heaven for me, and just the tone of green of the grass there is really breathtaking. Just the atmosphere is wonderful, and I really hope I can live there again. =D

We've lived in ten cities, five countries, on three continents, but it's odd how we haven't really traveled around the place I was born (Korea). I haven't been to Japan, Hong Kong, China, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia... etc. Which would be fun. We've mainly been all over the northwestern bit of Europe, but I'd love to visit Italy, Luxembourg, Greece, Russia, and the lot. Usually, if we visit Europe, it's to Denmark, Norway, England, Holland, or Germany. ! Oh, and we still haven't been to Scotland or Ireland. Want to drop by to those also. >.>

Uhm, and we've been all over the states. 46 total, and of all the traveling we've done, still no Hawaii. We were to go to the Camen Islands (yesh, it belongs to the UK but I mean a tropical island-ish place) before, but there was some problem with my dad's visa and we couldn't go. Also, I don't remember ever going to New York City. We're going to the east coast sometime in March, so hopefully we can drive up there as well.

But blah. I really want to visit Australia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and erm, Antarctica. ._.; It's all fun. I love traveling more than anything but I loathe planes. I've been on at least 4 plane trips (there and back) per year since I was three (two per before that), so I guess it's good reason? I hate the food and ear-poppingness. >.> OH and how there's always someone behind you who could probably be a soccer/football champion due to their astounding ability to kick your seat for an entire ten hour flight, AND how the person next to you either farts a lot or has extremely bad breath.

I also want to go to Egypt and see the pyramids
Aye, I was there a few months ago, visiting relatives. =)

I wanna go to Ireland, France, Japan, Italy, Australia, Germany.....

So many parts of the world are very beautiful in their own ways. I think I am a travelling type of girl; I wanna go most places at least once.

The world is kinda small, when you think about it. *nods*

I love traveling. I've never been off continent, yet [folks are pretty stingy, haha]- but I have plans to be all over the place this coming year after I get a job. I've been all over the States and into Mexico. I'd like to visit.. everywhere. I'm not really one to sit around in one spot for too long and the world seems like a prime location for some wandering around, eh. South America, Europe, Asia, Africa. Yeap, all of it looks like prime wandering territory to ol' Ken, hm.

I might avoid some parts of Africa though.. yeah.

Oh My Gosh!!!!! I've been there too *jumps up and down with glee*

On one of my many trips to Heidelberg, I went to that castle. My grandparents that came for a visit during that time were lagging behind while my friend, Keith and I led the way up that hill. When we finally got up to the top to where the castle was at, I played around the many fountains. There was a wedding going on at the time.

I had some really yummy brotchen (sp?...German bread) and some brauts with sauercrat(sp?). It was SO delicious!

Have you ever gone to the Cinderella castle in Germany? I went there and man, what an odd one. One hallway was made to look like a cave.

Another place I love to visit in Germany in the summer time was Sontofen. It was really pretty. There were oak trees and green hills everywhere.

The underground was pretty awesome in Paris. The trains in England were the best though. They had those awesome bathrooms where you push a button to close the door, push a button to lock the door and so on. I am such a dork.

I got to see the tapestry that was made for William the Conquer too in one of the towns in France. It was really long.

I also got to see Dracula's castle in Translyvania too. It was really spooky.

The one country that had the best and cleanest water was Austria. The shower I took there while I stayed was the best ever.

Two other cool places that I loved to visit were London and Cambridge in England.

Cambridge had this really cool mall there, and I also enjoyed going to the many different shops.

London was really awesome. It had the culture, the history, and the excitement. I remember London bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Tower of London, the Parlament buildings, Big Ben, the Rainforest Cafe, and also that one road where antiques were being sold. I forgot what it was called. Legoland was also fun.

I almost forgot, I also enjoyed York, England as well. Going to the train museum, and going to the many viking museums were cool as well.

I miss Valkenburg, Holland a lot. I miss the little shops, as well as the bars that were blasting techno that allowed you to come in...regardless of your age.

I went to pretty much all of Europe. Though, not Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Italy. I've been every where else though.

My sister went to Italy though, and she loved it.

Well, I have a few places in mind... but they basically have the same theme.

I wanrt to go to northern Nunavut, and live with the natives for a while. I['ve always wanted to live in an Igloo, and I figure that's the perfect place. My teacher went there a few years ago, she said it's an extremly friendly place to live, with no real "privacy", per se. What i mean is, one time she wen t to sleep, and woke up in the middle of the night. Her entire class was sitting in the living room, watching TV and eating her food, but they said that was common in that part of the world. (She also lost her toe in a Eskimo Knife Fight, or so I suspect) Not to mention the hunting. I just want to get a skidoo, grab a harpoon, and go hunting. Sounds awesome. Plus it's cold, and anything cold is alright in my books.

I might also wanna visit Sweden, because I really like the Norsemen, and would really enjoy touring the archeaological sites that litter the countryside. For the same reason, I want to go to Newfoundland, because i want to see Les Medeaux De Fleures, the oldest known settlement in North America. That would be sweet. lol, plus the Newfies. There hilarious.

That's pretty much it. I don't really like places like southern Euroupe, Africa, or alot fo Asia, since me and heat... were not friends. I would like to visit Japan, though, since that's the birthplace of Anime, and the best video game producer, so that'll be awesome. Plus the food rocks.

Am I the only person who wanted to visit the Siberian Wasteland? I think it would be pretty interesting, I mean considering how large Siberia is, and how few people live there, there's alot of unexplored territory. Now I'm just fantasing...but who knows? lol

Oh, travelling. That's awesome! I love to go travelling. As a matter of fact, my friends and I are planning to buy a bus, paint it groovily (one of my friends is a Beatles fan), and then take it to Canada. When we're eighteen. Apparently I will not be the designated driver, considering they all think I'm going to get drunk (I think it's legal to drink when you're eighteen in Canada). BUT, after we go to Canada, we'll go through California and then travel to Mexico, where we will take a plane to Europe.

I don't know how that tied in to anything said up above, but the topic title sparked my interest. Actually, I've been to China a lot, but haven't really toured it. Japan is overrated, in my opinion, but it's still cool. Lots of people in Tokyo, though. ^^

Traveling, hmm? Yes, I do enjoy the occasional travel to a new place. I've never been to Mexico and just a couple of years ago I visited my family there. Not much of a travel but I still liked it.
I would like to travel to Japan, India, or Ireland. Those places take my interest and I hope I can travel there someday.
