(Awaiting Sign-Up changes) = = = Chapter One Enemies and Allies The battle for fairness among the poor people and more money to them has always been one like good and evil, enemies and allies, but the battle just got big, and personal. Robin Hood and his friends only knew of the Sheriff and his men but didn?t know any of his men by names, yet. New enemies emerge with names never to be forgotten, and new allies emerge with names to go down with the 2nd Legend. (Note: In this Chapter your character may not have joined their side yet, and please remember that all this isn?t entirely based on the Robin Hood tale, not entirely) Outside the City, River near the Poor Estates, 9:52am. Fast flowing water pushed against Robin?s boots while he shuffled his way underneath the bridge, trying to keep as silent as possible so that the Sheriff?s men crossing over the bridge didn?t hear him. It was quite dangerous and very important since the men were so near the warehouses, the Sheriff could have maps designed and reports of the whole places before the afternoon, and Robin wasn?t going to take that risk. It was strange, though. Things seemed a little wrong, the Sheriff normally didn?t send men out because he knew most of the time Robin and his friends would jump them, plus the Sheriff was cunning enough to predict an attack, maybe it was some new enemies on the block. A small boy and two tall boys and girls came running down the stream towards Robin, ducking under the bridge with him and talking in a low whisper. ?There?s only five of them coming, but I think there?s something going on. I?m not sure, there seems to be less men than before.? The tall girl whispered. ?Maybe the Sheriff got a mercenary to do the work,? suggested the tall boy. Robin shook his head. ?I don?t think so, but I?m not taking any chances. You, can you run fast?? Robin asked the youngest boy who looked up with blue eyes and gave an innocent nod. ?Good. Five men is easy. When we take out three of them, you run back to the rest of my men, and I want you to get Little John and anyone else you can round up for later on in the afternoon, I want to see what the Sheriff?s up to. We?ll lead the two other men into the estates and ambush them, get some money and send someone to food then we can question them.? Robin explained. He clutched his 21st century hunting bow hard and adjusted his cap, then listened to heavy footsteps coming towards them. ?They were armed by those bullet guns, you know? The ones that shoot bullets with energy, like the 21st century weapons.? The girl pointed out. ?Good? at least I think. They?re coming over, we?ll jump out and knock three down then make a mockery out of the other two,? a smirk grew across Robin?s face, but it was wiped away when he heard the clanking of old oak wood and the sound of marching zombies coming over the bridge. Quickly, Robin took an arrow and loaded it into the second string of his bow. ?We?ll go after you.? The tallest boy said, backing up while Robin put his foot on the riverbank, ready to jump up and attack one of the men. He looked at the small boy suddenly. ?Before you run for safety, take the money of the soldiers.? He told the boy with a smirk. ?If they try to stop them, kick them where it hurts.? He pulled his hat back a little, and then in an instant he was up on the grass and leaping bravely before the soldiers with his arrow aimed at the first soldier?s leg. He fired quickly, not looking into the eyes of the soldier?s hidden faces under their helmets. His arrow pierced the first soldier?s thigh like the strike of a quick sword, making the soldier drop his weapon and the second jump forward with his gun aimed at Robin. Robin Hood took out another arrow but didn?t aim it at the man who was about to fire at him; instead he lunched his deadly missile at the last soldier. His two friends, the tallest girl and boy suddenly leapt out from the opposite side of the bridge and grabbed the soldier aiming for Robin?s head. Robin stood there, folded his arms and laughed lightly as his two friends tackled with the soldier and easily launched him into the quick flowing river. ?Robin!? A small voice shouted from below. Robin suddenly snapped out of his laughing and looked up to see the last two soldiers heading towards him, both with standard police sticks in their hands, which Robin knew, from experience, wasn?t very nice to be hit by one of the sticks. Robin ducked the first man, tripping him up easily, but was knocked in the ribs when he got up by the second. He didn?t try to hit the man back; he would just get injured again. So Robin clutched his ribs tightly, and turned his back, running over the grass and towards the fence of the estates, hoping the two soldiers would follow him. And he was right; they did, because if they hadn?t then he wouldn?t have his two friends running alongside him. ?The kids got some money, are we going to ambush them right near the start of the estates?? The boy asked Robin panting as he ran. ?Near the middle. You lead them all the way through, I?ll take on the roofs and allies.? - - - Poor Estates, 10:10am. Robin was bust sat crossed legged on the steps of an old flat, counting the money and coins in his hands and passing them to the small boy who had taken them. The ambush was easy, all Robin had to do was hid, jump out and scare the wits out of the soldiers and then they were tied up and put in the nearest warehouse? he?d go back to them when he was finished with his own business. ?Are you sure you got all?? Robin asked handing the boy back another handful of coins and starting to count the rest. ?Doesn?t matter, anyway. They must?ve learnt not to keep all of their filthy cash with them when they?re coming near the estates, but they?re to greedy to let it go.? Robin laughed evilly and made the money jump in his hands. ?I wonder how much those fancy helmets and pants are worth?? ?Robin, I need to speak to you privately.? A voice suddenly cut in from across the round, a voice Robin knew but someone he didn?t talk too much, one of the oldest of the men, Alan, once a rich man himself. Robin was confused, but nevertheless he got up, dropping the money and taking his bow over the road to Alan. ?What is it?? He asked quietly. ?Scouts around the cities? they got found out, no one?s heard from them.? Alan said. An middle age man with a lot of wisdom in his noodles, he always got straight to the point and when it was serious he would put his wrinkled hands in his pockets and he was doing that now. ?Sheriff?? Robin asked. ?We don?t know. Most people don?t think so, the Sheriff is more likely to do something more drastic if he killed or kidnapped someone, besides he had no way of knowing? unless he?s hired new men.? Alan sighed and looked up. ?You better not go out there on your own.? ?I?m not going to. I?ve taking some people with me, I won?t go alone.? Robin gripped his bow, and turned to walk away, but was stopped by Alan?s cold hand. ?I?ll send a boy out to ask for the best fighter?s around here to help you.? ?Tell them to meet near the fence at 11am, I?ll be waiting for them but only for a few minutes.? ?I?ll make sure you have the best.? ?Good?? Robin smiled at Alan, and then began to laugh. ?First, I?ve got to find how much those pansy fancy pants of these soldiers are? they might have a nice value, just for the money.?
Brooklyn
OOC: It?s started :) 10:10 am Police HQ Philios sat at his desk staring at the monitor. A middle-aged man wearing a police vest was talking to him in a hushed whisper, and he sounded urgent. ?Is the operation going smoothly? asked Philios looking with his usual blank stair. ?As far as we can see no sign of Hood any were. It?s like he knew we were coming and found the prefect hiding place? said the man ?Silence, no one in the world has the ability to read the future and there is not a snitch in my squadron I ashore you that. Any way he would be expecting an act from the sheriff since his men were the ones hurt, not mine but I do not think he will stay in this city if he knows that I am seeking him out.? ?Well then what do you suggest we?? ?I?m sending 7 more squads to aid you, I want guards at every exit not allowing any one to leave. In addition I4 police officer groups standing watch around the wall of the city. They should stand about 15 yards apart.? ?Very wise commander Desont? ?And since I?m willing to bet that you and your men will again fail to catch him I want each of you to carry a tracking device extension.(A new part that can be attached to a normal gun. Instead of firing bullets it fires microscopic tracers). ?Believe me we will not fail to catch him again? ?Yes you will, that?s why I?m coming to the city and will join the scouts in the town to find that fiend Hood and his group.? ?Sir excuse my language but I doubt you want to come here to this hell hole.? ?You?re right I probable don?t, I think you don?t want me to see you and your men screw up. I?ll be there in 25 minuets.? With that he pressed a button on is desk and the monitor went blank. He pressed another button on his desk and a phone rang twice before a women picked it up. ?Hello Commander, This is Mrs. Swan your secretary.? Said the voice ?Mrs. Swan if you?d be so kind as to ready my hover car and 3 police vans for me.? ?Sure thing, anything else?.? ?Yes please alert squads 1,2,5,8,9,10,and16 to gather in their appropriate vans?thank you? The phone hung up.Philios got to his feet, grabed his white coat and slipped it over his present close. He switched off his lights and went to the elevator. On the way down he thought of how the sheriff had hired him to work for the king directly and how this boy Robin Hood was all the king could think of. Then he thought how Robin Hood had not hade a education, or at least not a legal one, seeing as his data was not in any of the schools records, and that he is the age of 18 ,one year away from having to work, well according to the law. Though he thought to him self he didn?t think that he would. He entered his hover car in front of the three fully loaded vans and the set out to the city were in his mind he was god and Hood was a lab rat. Blayze
Zack waited silently in the shadows for his mark. The mark should have been in the club for about 2 hours now, so he must have taken the drink laced with laxatives that Zack had planted at the bar. Sure enough, the target left the club in a hurry through the back door, clutching his stomach. He doubled over, and was searching around for something, presumably a public lavatory. He looked shocked for a split-second as the arrow flew into his neck, but then keeled over backwards. Blood gushed out onto the floor, and within a few seconds, Zack was gone, along with any trace of him. * * * "So here's the thousand for completion of the job, and the hundred for equipment," said the portly rich man, counting out banknotes and puffing on a huge cigar. Zack took the money without saying a word, and turned to leave the building. "Wait a minute," the rich man said, "How am I supposed to contact you for any other jobs?" "Use my card," Zack replied, throwing a small white card with his phone number written on it to the man. Then he left the building, stopping to pick up his weapons on the way out. "You won't need it though," he said to himself. He took a small metal object out of his jacket pocket, and pressed a red button on the top. The building he had just left exploded in an enormous fireball. * * * "Thank you very much for your excellent work, Zack. Althoguh I'm sure you didn't leave the deal empty-handed," said the new businessman, handing Zack a briefcase full of money. Zack grunted and picked up the briefcase. "I knew I could count on you, Zack, you always get the job done." He grunted again and left the office, fairly pleased with his day of dirty deals. Revelation
"How far are we to my father's work, Charlie?" "Not that far, Lady Daniella. About a few more miles to go. Would you like me to stop by somewhere?" "No, quite alright." Sighing, Daniella sunk into the seat and grew tiresome of going from her home to her father's work. She despised her father, but made little effort to show she still cares. If she had any remorse in her soul, she may just as well run into his arms again, but without a doubt, that was likely to happen. She sighed once more and rolled down the window to look at the beautiful scenery. In her thoughts, the only thing beautiful about where she was going was the scenery. The golden trees swaying back and forth, the sweet scent of marigold and lilac blending in with the afternoon winds. It was a moment to remember, but it would only last a moment. Daniella looked out and saw children running, waving to her. She smiled and waved, knowing they saw her. They giggled and yelled good-bye as the car left them in the dust. Daniella chuckled to herself as she rolled up the window. Charlie smiled in the mirror and kept on driving. Suddenly, a road block came in front of him and he stopped abruptly. "What's going on? HEY! What's blocking the way?"

Blayze
"We have some new work for you, Carter," said the Sheriff. "Oh, goody," replied Zack sarcastically. He took the manilla folder from the Sheriff's desk, and opened it. "Someone is draining funds from the banks to fund criminal activities," he read, "We need someone to stop them in their tracks. Possible suspects: let me guess," he turned the page, and feigned surprise, "Robin Hood, Little John." "What?" asked the Sheriff, "You always want jobs involving Hood, so here's one for you. You need to track him down and incapacitate him only, don't you dare kill him, Carter!" he urged. "Not my fault if my aim is a little off when I shoot him," said Zack. "Make sure it's not!" said the Sheriff, "Or I can have you enslaved in the Poor Districts before the week is out, and don't think I won't just because you're the best mercenary in town." "I'd kill you and half your men before you could get a chance. You know why they call me Lucky?" "Because they think you're a cute little puppy dog?" "No. They call me Lucky because I can get out of any tight situation. Let me tell you, that isn't luck, it's my ability to kill everyone in a room before the first hits the floor." "Well you wouldn't get far in my office. My guards would drop you before you could get to your weapons." "Well, I'll count myself Lucky that I won't have to kill you all, 'cause I never leave a job unfinished. I'll take this one, on one condition." "Which is?" "When you're done with Hood, you hand him over to me." "We'll see. Get Hood and I'll think about it." "You'd better." Zack stormed out of the office, grabbing his bow and his sword as he left. ((OOC: Sorry I had to use the Sheriff in my post, Reise, but I just wanted to get things moving a little, seeing as noone has posted in quite a long time, and obviously OliverWhip is getting kind of anxious for it to kick off))
