Apherion
Chihiro looked around. She was late, again. But she didn't care, she wanted to see Kohaku again, but she couldn't, not until the sculpture was finished. She loved that she had actually could do taht sculpting as well as she did. "Chi! Hey, there you are. Ms. Migumi's pissed. Whoever ticked her off's in the office and we got to get out of the class!" Aleya, a girl in her first period class and friend, called to her. "Really? Cool, then come with me to see my sculpture, it's in the Art room. It's of my childhood love." Aleya sniggered. "I'm serious!" Oh well, it's no good to try and get people to understand about the Spirit World, Chihiro thought. The two walked all the way to the huge gaffitied building. "Wow, you'd never know you were this talented with sculpting!" Aleya had a high vioce that carried everywhere. They were exact opposites. Chihiro, quiet and not involved; Aleya, loud and Gossip Queen, always in someone's business. "I still need to color it, then I'll put it in the park or in my backyard." She watched as Aleya looked at the bottom where it read, "The Spirit of the Kohaku River?" Chihiro looked up at her. "Who or what's the Kohaku River?" "The spirit of the river saved my life, and I found out that the river had been built over and destroyed." "Oh," Aleya said, then the bell rang signaling the end of first period. "Well, see you later." "See you," Chihiro pulled out the paints to color Haku. "Don't worry, you'll have some way back soon." OOC: Ok, the RPG has started, if newcomers wish to enter we still have room for more, but you'll have to look at Adventure Inn for the sign up sheet and so on, I'll be checking. Happy RPing ^^
Cambrian_Explosion
Yuki woke to the sound of birds, sat up and streached to work the kinks out of his back and shoulders. Damn, I hate sleeping on the ground. But that's what I get for playing tag with that swallow spirit and losing track of time, he thought. He glanced at the sun, took his bearings, then started to run. As he built up speed, his human form flowed into that of his snow leopard form. He bounded into the air, sailed over the forest he had rested in, and hit the ground laughing. Woo-hoo, yeah! I live for this! he crowed to himself. Just then, he noticed he was headed straight for a lake. But instead of a spectacular splashdown, he simply froze a section of the water just before he touched down, and leapt off again. The water thawed almost as fast as it froze. ****** A while later, Yuki came to rest in front of Yubaba's bathhouse. He relinquished his natural form for that of a 14 year-old human boy, about average height and build, dressed in a white training kimono, with light blue eyes. He also had short-cropped hair the same color as his snow leopard's fur, as well as rounded feline ears, a long, thick tail, and cat-like paws for feet. He walked across the bridge, and muttered to himself, "I wonder what Kohaku is doing now?"
