RPG 2nd Hand of Time [PG-LVS]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue]That was the last of it. Riku had packed everything. Her clothes, her swimsuit, her accessories, (Which weren't very much, compared to the amount that Risa would probably be bringing...) and even Mr. Ko-san. Her teddy bear. (Besides her parent's, Risa was the only one that knew about Ko-san, and Riku would kill her if she told anyone about him.) The reason she had packed, was because today was the day that all of the students looked forward to, besides summer break. It was the day that they were going to go to Teardrop Isle. Since she and her twin sister were only freshman, this was going to be their first time at the island. Riku had heard a lot of stories about Teardrop Isle, but she didn't think most of them were true. Especially the ones about some sort of monster that lived there...[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue]Riku walked over to the bathroom again, and knocked on the door.[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue][b]"Risa, hurry up or we'll be late!"[/b] She yelled.[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue][b]"Alright, I'll be right there! Just be patient, Riku!"[/b] Risa yelled back.[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue]Riku looked at herself in a mirror by the door, and ran her fingers through her short hair. It used to be longer. As long as Risa's, in fact. But Riku had her hair cut because she didn't like it that everyone always mistook her for her younger sister. It was bad enough that mostly everyone called them both Harada-san...Also, it took so long to dry her hair and brush it, that it was getting annoying. Riku wasn't as girly as her sister, and didn't enjoy taking hours just to get ready. Riku walked away from the mirror, and put her luggage by the front door. Then, she went back upstairs to stand on the balcony and look outside. It was the same balcony that she had been standing on, when she saw that pervert. That seemed like such a long time ago...Riku tugged at her skirt a little bit, to make it comfortable, as she waited for her sister. It was stupid that everyone had to wear their school uniforms on the way to the boat. Everyone was just going to change out of them once they got out of their rooms anyways, so what was the point? Then again, it would be worse if they had to wear them the whole time they were at the island, Riku thought.[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue][b]"I wonder if Niwa-kun is going to be in a room close to ours..."[/b] She said to no one in particular.[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue]For some reason, at the thought of this, Riku started blushing. She shook her head violently. There was no way she could have feelings for Niwa-kun...[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue]Riku jumped and turned around. She held her breath and hoped that Risa wouldn't notice that she was blushing. Riku looked over her sister, who was staring at the sky. Riku let out a sigh. Thank goodness for her sister's short attention span. Riku leaned over the railing too, and stared at the sky with her sister. Then, the bus pulled up, and Riku and Risa grabbed their luggage and got aboard. Everyone seemed to be excited about their trip to the island.[/color][/size][/font]

[b][font=Verdana][size=2][color=deepskyblue]OOC: Alright, just to let everyone know. I'm going to call everyone by their last name, unless Riku gets to know them. (Like calling Satoshi, Hiwatari-san.) The only person I won't call, -san, is Daisuke, who Riku and Risa call Niwa-kun.[/color][/size][/font][/b]

[size=1][color=darkred]Shuuya sat up in his bed and yawned. [i]Today's the day.[/i] He thought to himself as he turned his body and stood up tall. He stretched out his arms and looked out the window. The sun blinded him.
"Shuuya! Your gonna be late if you don't hurry up! I'm not gonna give you ride all the way there you know!" Shouted his mother. Shuuya just smiled and chuckled. He then walked to the bathroom and brushed his teeth, and combed his hair.
"Harada-Chan..." He mumbled. He then dressed himself in his school uniform. Then started to pack up his things in a duffle bag. A voice started talking to him within his head.
[i]Well, kid. Let's have some fun now.[/i] Laughed a deep voice.
"Yeah sure." He replied in enthusiasm. He started talking to Nathaniel as he walked down the stairs. He then ran into Bear his "stuffed" cat he was going to bring with him. The kitten jumped into his hands. "Bear... Heh." He said as he scratched the back of the kitten's ear who purred.

As he sat at the table he ate some toast and chugged down a glass of water.
"Shuuya...! The bus is coming!" His mother shouted as she sat on the stairs. Shuuya raced outside. Bear jumped into his dufflebag. When the bus stopped infront of the house. Shuuya hugged his mother and kissed her.
"Mom, don't do anything stupid while I'm gone alright...?" He laughed as he walked toward the bus.
"Shuuya! Don't get into trouble!" She shouted. Shuuya swung his dufflebag over his shoulder. As he walked down the aisle he stopped to greet the Harada twins. As he looked at Riku Harada. He smiled and continued to the back of the bus were he usually sat.[/color][/size]

[Frankie]

[color=red][b]"Nuriko Hisano! Get down here this instant!" [/b]A angry woman yelled up the stairs.[/color]

[color=#ff0000]Nuri was looking around her room for the last few things that she might need though she knew she didnt need much. She could always handle it with less rather than more. She grabbed her notebook and ran down the stairs.[/color]

[color=#ff0000]She avoided the third step because it always made a terrible noise because of lose boards and such. She leapt and landed on the floor in front of her mother. [/color]

[color=#ff0000][b]"What is all this?!" [/b]Her mother asked pointing to the single suitcase like bag that had a blanket on top of it.[/color]

[color=#ff0000][b]"Thats my stuff for the trip..." [/b]Nuri said carefully.[/color]

[color=#ff0000][b]"What trip?" [/b]Her mother seemed confused.[/color]

[color=#ff0000][b]"Oh jezz... It doesnt matter now what trip it is... You need to quit forgetting things mom..." [/b]Nuri heard the buss coming and grabbed her stuff.[/color]

[color=#ff0000][b]"I dont think you should be going anywhere in your...condition"[/b] Her mom paused for a moment, [b]"What if she emerges?"[/b][/color]

[color=#ff0000][b]"That not a problem mom I gotta to the bus is here."[/b] With that Nuriko grabbed her stuff and went out the door. [/color]

[color=#ff0000]Nuriko got onto the bus and smiled. She found an empty seat and sat down She noticed the twins and even[/color][color=red] [size=1]Shuuya was there with a big bag. Nuri felt a little weird now having such a small amouth of things compared to everyone else but she kept on smiling. As the bus started moving she began to stare out the window. She thought this was going to be fun.[/size][/color]

[Redemption]

[FONT=Trebuchet MS][COLOR=Navy]A soft cool breeze caressed Ayame's face as her eyelids fluttered open from sleep. The morning sun had crept slowly onto her bed, making it warm and cosy. Ayame tossed her blonde hair from side to side on her pillow, not wanting to wake.

" AYAME! TIME TO GET UP!"

One of her brother's voices drifted up to her room. Ayame slowly rose from her bed.
[I]Well good morning sunshine...[/I]
" Morning Blaise."
[I]How are you feeling this fine morning?[/I]
" I want to go back to sleep." She laid her head back on the pillow.
[I] Aren't you forgeting something my little Ayame?[/I]
" No."
[I] I think you are. What about that trip to Teardrop Island today?[/I]

Ayame sat bolt upright.
" Oh no, I forgot it was today."
Hurriedly, she jumped out of bed and quickly dressed into her school uniform.

[I] Well well well, aren't we in a hurry...[/I]
" Blaise, shhhhh! My brothers are going to come up here and wonder why I'm talking to myself.
[I] But you aren't my little Ayame. You are talking to me, the infamous jewel thief, Blaise Black.[/I]
" They don't know that."
[I] No.....I don't suppose they don't. Pity...[/I]

Ayame began to pack her bag in a very hurriedly fashion. The noise of the bus echoed along the street below her.
" Oh no....."
[I] Don't panic Ayame...you'll get there in time....where's Viper?[/I]

At that moment, a small black snake slithered around Ayame's arm.
[I] Ahh...there you are my loyal pet....do you want to go on a field trip today?[/I]
" I can't bring Viper along! What if the others see him!"
[I] They won't. He, like I, will only come out when needed Ayame. Don't worry so much. Take some chill pills....[/I]
Ayame didn't like that comment at all.
" Blaise..."
[I] I promise...[/I]

[B]BEEP BEEP![/B] The sound of the bus beeping its horn outside Ayame's house thundered through her window.
" Oh....I'm coming....I'm coming....."

Ayame picked up her stuffed bag (Viper hiding in her shirt) and ran downstairs. She collided with both of her brothers, apologised profusely but pressed on. Down the stairs and in the kitchen, her father sat reading the morning paper.

" Goodbye father. See you when I come home." She kissed him on the cheek and rushed out the front door. Ayame's father looked up from the paper, smiled and went back to reading.

Meanwhile....

Ayame climbed aboard the bus and apologised profusely to the driver. She continued up the aisle, seeing the Harada twins, Mr Shuuya and Miss Nuri. As she passed the twins, she greeted them warmly but shyly.
" Good morning Miss Riku, Miss Risa."

Ayame saw Mr Shuuya up the back.
" Good morning Mr Shuuya."

Then she saw Miss Nuri.
" Good morning Miss Nuri."

She sat in the seat across the aisle from the Harada twins and stared out the window.

[color=red]Nuri nodded and said her own little hello back but went back to staring out the window. She remembered it well and her mother made sure it was to haunt her forever...[/color]

[color=red]She had Inferna with her from now untill doomsday. The thief, the liar, vandal, and pure pyro... Inferna was the complete opposite of her and it was strange but Nuri had gotten used to it.[/color]

[color=red]She had seen him... And her heart went crazy... Inferna came forth and took over. The first destructive thing she did was make Nuri break a glass of course out of pure shock from seeing thatshe wasnt herself anymore. Since then Inferna has been a bit of a handful...[/color]

[color=red]The family had strayed away from Nuri... They feared Inferna... They feared what she could do. Unfortunatly this caused Nuri to spend most of her time alone... But this never changed her kindness towards others. [/color]

[color=red]She blinked and stared out the window as the sceanery went by.[/color]

[B]OOC:[/B] Sorry I'm a little late.

[COLOR=Navy]Sakura was sitting on the rail of her balcony, the sun was in the sky, signalling the morning. She yawned because she had been awake since 5am. It wasn't really on purpose, she just couldn't sleep. Sakura slid off and walked across her room, she was already dressed and ready for school.

[I]"Good morning, Sakura."[/I] a rich female voice greeted.
[B]"Good morning Scarlet."[/B] she replied, picking up her bag from the foot of her bed.
[I]"Up early again are we?"[/I]
[B]"Yes, I couldn't sleep again."[/B] Sakura said, lowering herself next to the bed so Larka could flap onto it.

Sakura stood and stroked the small bird that was splayed on her head. Then she exited the door and tramped downstairs to greet her parents.

[B]"Morning Mother, Father."[/B] she said, kissing them both on the cheek.

Then she went into the hall and put on her shoes. She said goodbye to her parents and left the house, just in time as the bus came along to her house. This was a usual routine that she had.

Sakura climbed the small stairs of the door and looked around the bus, she saw the Harada twins, Nuri-san, Shuuya-san, and Ayame-san. She greeted them all warmly and took a seat behind Nuri. As she sat, she picked up Larka off her head and cradled him in her arms, stroking him.[/COLOR]

[color=red]Nuri's bag started moving around violently. She tried to hold it shut but Fluff didnt exactly need a large hole to get out. He could squeeze through a tiny hole and he found one. A medium sized ball of fluff slipped out of her back and bounced on her head.[/color]

[color=red][b]"Fluff No... get back in there..."[/b] She said trying to keep the pet under control.[/color]

[color=red][b]"Bwezzza"[/b] The fluffball said... Bwezzza was the only thing it could say but it was how it said it that made it understandable. This time it was a firm no.[/color]

[color=red]The fluff ball bounced back into the seat behind Nuri and smiled at Sakura. Nuri got on her knees and looked over the back of her seat and saw Sakura...[/color]

[color=red][b]"Hi.. Miss Sakura... Heh Sorry about Fluff... "[/b] Nuri reached down and picked up the fuzzball that slipped out of her hands easily. "Come on get back in the bag we arent there yet?!" She pleaded. [b]"No really Im extreamly sorry bout this..."[/b][/color]

[color=red]The fluff ball continued to bounce next to sakura and make a funny humming noise. Nuri grabbed her back and swiped it over Fluff and sipped it shut.[/color]

" Yes Blaise?" she whispered to herself very quietly.

[I]Yeah her....something seems very familiar to me about her....don't ask me what but it just is.[/I]

[I]I dunno. Do you think I could win her over with my charm?[/I]
" Blaise!"

Suddenly a pink fuzzball raced in front of Ayame's face.
[I]What was that?[/I]
"[B] Fluff! Come back here! Sorry Ayame-san if she startled you.[/B]"
[I]Startled you? She almost wiped us out! Stupid little furball![/I]
" Blaise!" Ayame scolded herself.

Then she felt wriggling in her shirt.
" Oh no!"

Suddenly Viper slid out of one of her sleeves and stalked Fluff.
" Viper no!"
Ayame grabbed Viper who wriggled in her hands wildly, wanting to get free.
" I told you you should of stayed in my bag!"
The black snake seemed depressed at Ayame's anger. Ayame's face softened.
" I'm sorry Viper but I told you so."

Nuri looked at Ayame talking to a snake.
" AHHH! SNAKE!"

Ayame looked over at Miss Nuri.
" No no no. He's friendly. But he does want to eat Fluff. But he won't, will you Viper?" Ayame said quietly. The snake weaved its head side to side.
" Good."[/FONT] [/COLOR]

Keiji was an early riser. He woke up at 6:20 AM, got dressed in his uniform clothes, and ate breakfast before anyone in his house was stirring. There was something about the morning that he liked. So pure, cool, innocent almost compared to the rest of the day.

"What a beautiful day. What do you say, Quick?"

[I]Why do you worry about the weather, Keiji? It makes no sense. I guess it's alright. Get a move on though, lover boy. Risa can't occupy your thoughts 24 / 7.[/I]

"I wish I knew how to write haiku. Then I could give them to her." Keiji sighed, acknowledging how love-struck he was with Ms. Risa Harada. He was too shy to talk to her about his feelings outright. He usually just performed random acts of kindness for the girl he loved.

Keiji had packed his clothes and belongings last night. He grabbed his two bags as well as Mr. Teddy, and stepped outside to wait for the bus. It came withing five minutes of his coming outside, which was great timing. He stepped onto the bus, and took a look around.

There was Risa, sitting next to her sister. Shuuya was sitting in the back of the bus.

He had a better chance of talking to Shuuya than Risa, so he walked onto the back of the bus, and sat down across from Shuuya. Next, he attempted to make conversation with him.

"Hey, Shuuya, how're you doing?"

"Meh, I'm living. Can't complain right?"

"Yep. You looking forward to this trip?"

"I'm not so sure yet. We'll have to see how things pan out. Hey, Keiji, do you like a girl on this trip?

"Yeah. Don't tell anyone, but I like Risa. How about you?"

"That's funny. I like Riku. We like the Harada's, ironic, eh? Oh, don't tell anyone I told you either, kay?"

"Deal."

[Ninjah]

[size=1][color=darkred]Shuuya laughed and chuckled and then turned his head to the window, lost in his deep thoughts.
[i]Hey, don't worry kid. I won't do such a thing, or will I?[/i] Nathaniel laughed.
"How do you know what I'm thinking...?" Shuuya whispeared.
[i]Wow, you really are stupid aren't you? Uh, maybe it's because I'm in your head?[/i]
"...Right." Shuuya sighed.

"Well, ever since you've come to me, you've really messed up my chances with Harada, Riku." Shuuya groaned. He turned his head to look at Keiji who looked at him strangely.
"Dude..? Are you talking to yourself?" Keiji asked raising an eyebrow.
"Feh... I guess you could call it that..." Shuuya laughed.

Bear poked his head out from the duffle bag.
"Hey Bear..!" Shuuya extended a hand to pet his loyal kitten companion. "Let's hope this trip turns out right." He opened the bag and let Bear jump into his lap. He yawned. Shuuya then turned his attention to Riku, which made his heart speed up.
[i]Hey, kid. Don't let me out during the day! It's no fun![/i]
"Feh, Nathaniel... Why... Why did you come to me?" Shuuya leaned his head on the seat infront of him.
[i]You know why, Shuuya, your grandfather told you. Haha, I remeber you as a little child. You used to admire me. Did you know I was the one who saved you from dying...?[/i]
"What... What are you talking about...? Valentine, just shut up. Please, let me be.. I don't want to hear anymore from you." Shuuya stroked Bear. Then looked at Keiji. "So... Think you might have chances with Risa? Mine with Riku are pretty ruined..." Shuuya laughed.[/color][/size]

[color=red]Nuri smiled, [b]"Yeah I uh.. Heh I zipped her in my backpack but she slipped out again."[/b][/color]

[color=red]Nuri then spent a few moments chasing the fuzzball around the buss before she finally began to hum a little tune. It went like that for a few moments and the fuzzball went to sleep. She then stuffed her into her little room which was just Nuri's backpack.[/color]

[i][b][color=red]You should let her terrorize everyone... That little fuzz ball can cause quite a distubance if you know what I mean... Hehehe... Aw your no fun...[/color][/b][/i]

Boys #3, Ishikawa Akira. Comparable to an anteater, the irritating prat had a habit of nosing around other people?s belongings, especially Kumiko?s. He sat beside her in the bus and was fiddling nervously at his bagstrap.

Girls #12, Nakamura Kumiko is now officially and extremely vexed at Ishikawa-san. She shot him a cold look and advised, [b]?You wouldn?t want to know? Ishikawa-san.?[/b] End of conversation. Ishikawa shrunk back to his seat and mentally added another entry to ?Things I Shouldn?t Ask About Creepy Nakamura?.

Across the row sat her objet d?amour. If she wasn?t feeling under the weather, she would?ve sat near the aisle. For now, the window-seat was her place of comfort---

Rue, the bane of Kumiko?s existence, had finally shut up. Not that Kumiko ever minded his voice in her head; it?s just that he can get annoying at times, especially when Miyamoto-san is near. She gave Ishikawa some of the cookies she made (much to his surprise) and he, in turn, offered some to Miyamoto and Akechi.

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]An empty house was lit dimly by the slight rays of sun that managed to break through the dark curtains. Books lay scattered around the floor, dust collecting on shelves. Only one place was clean, the computer and its desk. A boy woke to the sound of silence, eerie at the best of times, but he was used to it by now.
No mother or father to speak of, no siblings, only.....[I]him[/I] .

[B][I]/Ah, good morning, Satoshi-sama, sleep well?/[/I][/B]

Satoshi groaned, pulling himself from the sheets and climbing into his shower, trying to ignore the soft voice in his head.

[B][I]/You can't ignore me, master, I am you, haven't you realised that by now?/ [/I][/B] a low chuckle echoed in Satoshi's head before he cut it off, his voice still croaky from sleep, or lack thereof.

[B]"I've realised it and it's because of it that I hate myself and I'm doomed to an unloved and unworthy existence..."[/B]
[B][I]/One shouldn't be thinking of such things so early in the morning, Satoshi-sama!/ [/I][/B] Krad somehow managed to feign shock, adding an over-dramatic sigh, not his usual style of irritation, Satoshi considered.

Satoshi shook his head, his brow knitted in a frown before getting out and drying off, dressing in his casual clothes for the summer, grabbing his previously packed bag.

Satoshi reached the bus to find that he was one of the last ones there, quite to his surprise; he was usually the first to arrive every morning. A couple of people waved to his, Takeshi, Niwa, no one of importance.

An empty seat seemed to call to Satoshi, his feet were weary from all the walking he had done the night before, and sleep wasn't a comfort for him these days. The boy found that the seats partner was occupied by Nuri. He shrugged and sat down, alarmed by the squeal she emitted when she realised who it was. He raised an eyebrow and pushed his glasses up, reaching out one hand to feel her forehead.

Nuri seemed to shake as he whispered, [B]"Are you okay?"[/B] she managed to nod before turning away to rest her head on the cold glass, leaving Satoshi utterly confused. It was then that the teacher bounced in, checking to see who was missing. Her perky tone was less than bearable, and Satoshi groaned for the second time that morning. This trip was going to be a long one, but with Niwa staying so close to him, not necessarily fruitless.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

The wind blew Shuichi's curtains from the front of the window, allowing light to enter the room. Shuichi looked over from his desk and smiled at the brilliance of the sunlight. He stood up and put on his watch as a cocky voice echoed throughout his mind.

[B][COLOR=SlateGray][I]Hmph, you're in a extremely good mood this morning. Any reason why?[/I][/COLOR][/B]

Shuichi almost dropped his watch in shock. He chuckled lightly at his surprise and bent over, picking up his watch. He still hadn't gotten used to the other personality inside of him, though he was handy for a good conversation.

[B]"Today's the day of the trip, Twilight. You didn't forget, did you? I believe I did bring it up every day of this week."[/B]

Twilight sneered and didn't respond. Shuichi grinned slightly, amused and satisfied with himself. He walked over to his bed and grabbed his bag, slinging it over his shoulder. A voice called up to him from downstairs.

[B]?Shuichi! Hurry up and grab something to eat quickly! The bus is here!"[/B]

Shuichi grabbed his hat frantically and put it on backwards. He threw his door open and bolted down the stairs. Running into the kitchen he chugged a glass of orange juice and snatched a pack of pop-tarts. He kissed his mom on the cheek and waved to his dad rapidly as he sped out the door. His mom called to him from the house.

Shuichi ran onto the bus in a blind frenzy. The bus driver gave him a dirty look and Shuichi merely smiled back at him. Shuichi looked around at everyone, and smiled at them.

[B]"Hey guys! Nice to see everyone this morning!"[/B]

He took a mental note of everyone, so he'd know who was here and who still needed to be picked up.

[B][I]The Harada twins, Shuuya, Nuri, Ayame, Keji, Kumiko, Satoshi....and Sakura.[/I][/B]

Twilight whistled in his head. Shuichi could practically feel Twilight grinning at the sight of her. Shuichi sighed and walked over to her, taking the seat next to her. He grinned over at her, stating a greeting. She smiled back. Twilight was now at the point of drooling. Shuichi grinned slyly.

[B][I]I let you sit next to your dream girl, so you'll leave me alone for the ride, Okay?[/I][/B]

Twilight laughed loudly and replied in a sarcastic tone.

A large grin spread across Shuichi's face. He took out his CD player and put on his headphones. Opening his pop-tart pack he hummed lightly to himself in satisfaction.

[SIZE=1]No-one really noticed when Daisuke got on the bus. He got a few nods from other students, but no-one he reallt talked to appeared to talk to him. He just sat near the back with his headphones in, and a random book he had been reading. He yawned, but remembered he would be having a good time with friends. And some more than friends.

"Get out of my head Mousy"

[But come on, they both look pretty fine to me]

"Yeah" Daisuke said looking down to Risa. He then felt a churning sensation, but held back.

"No no no, your not getting out that easy Mousy"

And with that the bus slowed down to the docks. Where they would be getting the boat over to Teardrop Isles. "Good fun" Niwa said and walked off the bus, going down to the where they had our bags.

He walked into Riku there. "Oh hey there, never seen you on the bus". She smiled gleefully. "Oh want me to get your bags for you ?".

She looked panicky, and went red. And said really fast "No it's fine thanks" and ran straight onto the boat. "Pfft. What's wrong with her ?"

"D*mn, Ishikawa your so loud.. No thanks.. I'm layin' off the sweets. But thank Nakamura-Chan for me." Shuuya sighed and looked out the window again, stroking Bear.
"So... Shuuya, if your pet is a cat.. Why'd you name is Bear? Pretty strange." Keiji snickered.
"Well, Bear was the nickname my dad gave me. Heh, my mom always used to laugh at it."
[i]Bear? Harhar, what kind of nickname is that? Haha.[/i] Nathaniel laugh echoed in his head.
"Shut up." Shuuya spat.
"Did you just tell me to shut up..Shuuya?" Keiji glared at him.
"No... No.. Actually I was uhm... Talking to myself again." Shuuya gave a nervous grin.
"Right..." Keiji then looked away.

Shuuya ignored Nathaniel's statement.

Shuuya's eyes widened and then sharpened.

Shuuya knew just what Nathaniel was going to do.

[i]A little to late Shuuya-san.[/i] Shuuya could see Nathaniel grinning. Nathaniel was going to force Shuuya to move. Shuuya had to resist being forced to move by Nathaniel.

Shuuya grunted and mumbled. Bear then jumped out of his lap and started to walk around the bus.
"What, wait! Bear! Stop! Get back here!" Shuuya stood and saw that Bear was headed toward Riku.
"Aw... Sh*t..!" Shuuya then started to walk up the aisle and catch up to Bear. "Got'cha." Shuuya looked up and locked eyes with Riku. He looked away and sat down in the seat back of hers instead of going to the back. "Uhm.. Hey Riku... What's up?" Shuuya stuttered with his words. He could hear Nathaniel laughing in his head, and his heart skip some beats.[/size][/color]

He was roused from his thoughts, as there was a new surge of noise coming from the front of the bus. It seems there was so much he was missing out on, communicating with his counterpart. Shuuya was look directly at Riku, and pets were jabbering about, driving their owners crazy. That reminded Keiji, Mr. Teddy was still in the suitcase. He opened up the luggage, and saw him jump up with pent-up energy.

"HEY KEIJI!"

"Jeez, Mr. Teddy, chill. We're on the bus now. Look, there's alot of pets on here too. Just like you."

"Wow. Can I go up there? And talk with them?"

"Sure. Go ahead."

Mr. Teddy made his way to the other pets.

[FONT=Trebuchet MS][COLOR=Navy]Ayame loked around the bus as everyone filed out to the docks to board the ship that was going to take them over to Teardrop Island.

The Harada twins passed her, Mr Keiji, Mr Shuuya, Mr Daisuke, Mr Satoshi, Miss Nuri, Miss Kumiko, Miss Sakura and finally, Mr Shuichi. Ayame's heart thumped painfully in her chest.

Ayame looked wistfully out of the window at Shuichi. One tear slowly rolled down her cheek. Viper came up to Ayame and nudged her. There was no one else was on the bus. Ayame swiftly picked up Viper and raced out the bus door. She grabbed her bag and walked behind Shuuya and Keiji. Finally, she caught up to Kumiko.

" Hi Miss Kumiko. How are you doing?"
" I'm going okay. What about you, excited about this trip?"
" Yes I am, very excited."
Kumiko nodded. " Yeah me too." Then she started whispering. " Do you like anyone on this trip?"
Ayame blushed very scarlet. " Actually I do."
Kumiko looked shocked. " Yeah me too."
" Really?"
" Yes."
" Who is it?" Ayame asked very bravely.
Kumiko winked. " You'll see eventually."

Ayame and Kumiko walked onto the boat, carrying their bags.
" So, what exactly are we going to do here?" Kumiko asked.
" I don't know."

[COLOR=Navy]Sakura noticed as Shuichi sat next to her and smiled, she smiled back at him politely and watched as he put on some headphones and opened a packet of pop-tarts that he was holding. Sakura looked around the bus and saw when Daisuke got on. Scarlet in her head was smiling slyly at him and Sakura shook her head, trying to set her off, mumbling to her quietly.

When they arrived, Sakura put Larka back onto her head and got off, carrying her bag with her. Everyone filed out onto the docks and Sakura looked around and saw the boat that would be ferrying them to Teardrop Island. Slowly people began to make their way onto the boat, Sakura sat down somewhere and put down her bag. She patted her pockets and pulled out her palm computer, deciding to add some notes about the students there, and notes about Teardrop Island.

[COLOR=RoyalBlue][B]"Why do you have to be so dull?"[/B][/COLOR] Scarlet whined from in her head.
[I][B]"I'm not dull. I'm being analytical, and I can't help that, it's my nature."[/B][/I] Sakura thought back, not wanting to talk out loud and sound crazy.

Larka made some funny cheeping sounds and shuffled about on her head.

[B]"What's wrong Larka?"[/B] she asked her pet.

Larka just continued to cheep and slid off her head into her lap. Sakura guessed that he was scared of the water, because he couldn't swim and had never been around so much water. Sakura patted the small pink bird and comforted him as she watched around at the others with their various pets, some of them being strange. She then decided to make files on everyone's pets and started to open new documents.[/COLOR]

"Alright, Mr. Teddy, get on back here." The teddy bear walked back to Keiji. Everyone was off the bus now, standing around and talking to one another. Keiji looked longingly at Risa Harada, wishing he had the nerve to talk to her at all. After all, he was a rather quiet, soft-spoken guy.

"Does anyone know where we go from here? Do we go to the lodging, or a ferry ride... or do we just stand here til we rot away?"

No one was really paying Keiji any attention. He didn't really feel like speaking up, though. A few acknowledged his attempt at speaking, and shrugged him off, continuing with their silence or conversation.

[B]There are so many people like me here. But I don't really personally know too many of them. Oh well.[/B]

[I]Arg... there you go again, man. Just talk to a girl, stop worrying about it so much. In ten years, you won't even remember what happened here.[/I]

Interrupted once more, an adult made their way over to the group of chatting teenagers.

[color=darkred][size=1]Shuuya stroked Bear one more time before putting him in his bag. Bear always had his head poked out the top but the adults never noticed. Shuuya got off the bus and onto the ferry. He scanned the horizon.
"Wow, this is awesome..." He smiled. Just then one of their teacher's came to hush down the bickering teens.
"Alright everyone! We hope your prepared for out trip to Tear Drop Isle!" the male teacher shouted. "We'll talk more about it soon. Feel free to wander the boat. Just make sure you don't push someone in..."
Shuuya laughed at the thought.
[i]Hey! Shuuya..! You know, we should do that. You know you want too.[/i]
[b]"Shut up Nathaniel...! Why would I want to do such a thing like that?"[/b]

Shuuya sighed. The students then started bickering and walking and run on the ferry. Shuuya leaned over the edge of the ferry. Keiji then joined him.
"Hey, what's up Shuuya? You seem to be troubled." Keiji asked being amused at what was in the water.
"Well, nothing really. I'm just.... I guess nervous since I'm on this trip with Riku. Who knows we might get some alone time...Heheh. Well, if we do... Man am I going to choke." Shuuya chuckled.
"Man, the sun is really shining today huh? Have you ever noticed how...-" Shuuya cut off Keiji.
"How beautiful the morning is...? Heh, not really, I'm more of a night person."

Shuuya looked down at his reflection seeing a grinning Nathaniel.

"Yeah, I guess I'll try to talk to him sometime." Shuuya looked around for someone else to socialize with. "Daisuke, that's someone to talk too, he's some intresting kid." Shuuya started making his way toward Daisuke, his duffle bag over his shoulder.

Chir hummed in satisfaction then began trotting away to explore the boat. Suddenly Twilight's voice burst through his head and startled Shuichi.

Shuichi was taken back by Twilight's show of emotion. Shuichi looked around again to see if there was anyone he felt like talking to. His eyes wandered over to Sakura and he growled in his head.

[I][B]Oh...So that's what you wanted. Well sorry to burst your bubble lover boy, but I think I'm going to talk to Ayame. I've never really taken the chance to talk with her, so this might be a good chance to.[/B][/I]

Shuichi chuckled at the obvious dissapointment in Twilight's voice. He walked over to Ayame, who was speaking with Kumiko. He grinned and adressed the two of them.

Ayame blushed and nodded slightly. Shuichi raised an eyebrow in bewilderment. Kumiko engaged the confused Shuichi in conversation.

Kumiko began coughing and looked a little faint. Shuichi raised both eyebrows in alarm and took a step forward. Ayame diverted her attention from Shuichi and turned to Kumiko as well. Shuichi grew nervous.

[B]"Are you okay? You don't look to well."[/B]

Kumiko smiled and assumed her former position. Shuichi and Ayame watched her with concern, both worried about her health. Kumiko merely shook it off and smiled.

She walked away leaving Shuichi and Ayame in akward silence. Twilight's voice emerged in his head again, this time in an amused tone.

Shuichi ignored him and began talking with Ayame again. She seemed a little nervous talking wiht him, but he didn't pay much attention to that. After a while she told Shuichi that she was going to check on Kumiko and rushed away, embarrassed. Shuichi adressed Twilight.

Shuichi took out his CD player again and put his headphones in, walking towards the side of the boat. He gazed out over the water and thought about what he would do on the island. He turned around just in time to see Chir run by and trip, then get back up and run off again. Shuichi laughed and tuned back to the water enjoying his tunes.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
