RPG 2nd Hand of Time [PG-LVS]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]Riku backed into someone and dropped her bags. She picked up her luggage and looked up at the person who she had bumped into. Of all the people in her school, it had to be Niwa-kun. For some reason, Riku felt her face growing warm. She knew she was blushing, but the more she tried to control it, the worse it got.[/color][/size][/font]
[color=royalblue][font=Verdana][size=2][b]"Oh want me to get your bags for you?"[/b][/size][/font][/color]
[color=royalblue][font=Verdana][size=2][b]"No it's fine thanks."[/b] Riku said, shaking her head violently.[/size][/font][/color]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]Riku picked up her luggage and ran off. Her heart had started racing now. What was wrong with her? Niwa-kun was just trying to be polite, and she never acted this way. After finding out where her room was, Riku ran in and shut the door behind her. She threw the bags on the bed, and ran to the bathroom. Riku had never felt like this before. Her heart wouldn't slow down, and she was gasping for breath. Images of Niwa-kun's smile, laugh, and his beautiful eyes kept floating into Riku's head. She tried not to think of him, and tell herself that he belonged to Risa, but it wasn't working. The room seemed to be getting warmer, when everything suddenly went black...[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]Riku woke up on the bathroom floor. She didn't know how much time had gone by since she had passed out, but she knew it couldn't have been long, or else Risa would have found her and tried to wake her up. Riku grabbed the edge of the bathroom counter with one hand, to pull herself up. She still felt really strange for some reason, but it was a different kind of strange...But when Riku looked in the mirror, she nearly fainted again. After rubbing her eyes and looking again. She knew she wasn't just seeing things. Instead of her normal reflection looking back at her, there was a strange girl. She was a bit taller than Riku, she looked about three years older, her hair was longer, and a shimmering dark red, and she was wearing adark green and black outfit. It took a minute or so for Riku to realize that she was that girl. Before she could think about what to do, Riku heard the door to her room open and shut.[/color][/size][/font]
[b][font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]"Riku, are you in here? The teacher said you weren't acting like yourself..."[/color][/size][/font][/b]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]Risa stepped into the bathroom and her mouth dropped open in shock.[/color][/size][/font]
[color=royalblue][size=2][font=Verdana][b]"W-who are you? How did you get into our room?"[/b] Risa asked in surprise.[/font][/size][/color]
[color=royalblue][size=2][font=Verdana][b]"Risa, it's me! Riku! Well, sort of..."[/b] Riku said.[/font][/size][/color]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]Risa found this hard to believe, but there was no denying that that was her twin sister's voice. They both sat down, and Riku explained to Risa everything. Except for the part about her reaction to Niwa-kun. After a few minutes, Risa came up with a temporary solution to Riku's problem.[/color][/size][/font]
[b][font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]"Well, you can't stay in this room forever. So, you'll just have to dress up in your school uniform and pretend to be one of the students..."[/color][/size][/font][/b]
[font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]Riku sighed. Risa was never the best at coming up with plans, but she didn't feel like arguing, so she decided to go along with it. Riku changed into her bloomers, since the students were supposed to play volleyball soon, and went to go walk around the boat.[/color][/size][/font]

[b][font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]OOC: Alright, as you know. I'm going to be gone for a little bit. You guys can continue on with the volleyball game, and explore the boat a little bit. (Who knows, maybe someone will fall overboard or something.) But stop it soon after you reach the island and get to the hotel, okay? Happy New Years. ^_^[/color][/size][/font][/b]

[color=red]Nuri was alone most of the time and this wasnt any different. She noticed fluff was going all over the place and exploring. She hoped Fluff wasnt causing trouble or bothering anyone. She just sat there on a small bench an watched the water go by. The smell of the water in the air tickled Nuri's nose a bit and it was calm and peaceful. Well... For at least a minute or two.[/color]

[Sakura]

[COLOR=Navy]Sakura decided to find her room and stood, putting her palm computer into her pocket. She picked up Larka, put him on her head, and grabbed her luggage. She walked around and finally found her assigned room, it looked like someone else would be staying with her too because there was another bed. She decided to take the bed on the left and put her luggage down, then she lay on the bed, with Larka sitting on her chest.

[COLOR=RoyalBlue][B]"Why don't you go out and talk to anyone?"[/B][/COLOR] Scarlet asked her.
[B]"I guess it's because I'm too shy. I'm a computer type person, not a social one."[/B] Sakura sighed.
[COLOR=RoyalBlue][B]"Oh come on, let's go out and talk, I'll help you if you want."[/B][/COLOR]
[B]"Ha, that's a first."[/B] Sakura scoffed, but she sat up anyway and replaced Larka in his usual seating place, then she got up and went back to the main area where everyone was.

Sakura looked around and saw that some people were gathering together to have a volleyball game. She wanted to refuse the offer, but Scarlet pushed her to join, so she did. They waited around for more people first.

[COLOR=RoyalBlue][B]"Oh look, Daisuke's playing."[/B][/COLOR] Scarlet noted.
[I][B]"Doesn't matter to me."[/B][/I] Sakura thought to her.
[COLOR=RoyalBlue][B]"It doesn't until he changes into Dark."[/B][/COLOR]
[I][B]"Oh you just can't wait to get out here, can you?"[/B][/I][/COLOR]

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Navy][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Ayame looked at her feet, scarlet in the face.
? Yes?.but please don?t tell anyone??
Kumiko winked. ? I promise I won?t.?

Ayame sighed, relieved.
[I]Well one person figured out your little secret Ayame, I wonder who else might?[/I]
[B]Blaise, please don?t make this trip difficult.[/B]
[I]You know me Ayame?[/I]
[B]That?s what I?m afraid of?[/B]

The boat had anchored at the island and Kumiko and Ayame had grabbed their luggage and found their assigned rooms, which happened to be next to one another. THey walked outside and found a seat under a tree to sit on.

Ayame looked at Kumiko. She did look rather pale in comparison that she did on the boat.
? Are you sure you?re ok??
? I?ll be fine. Go talk to some other people Ayame otherwise you?re never going to have fun here. Go talk to Shuichi if you can find him.?
? I couldn?t do that,? Ayame said, shocked, ? I?m too nervous to do such a thing. Especially around Mr Shuichi.?
Kumiko shrugged her shoulders. ? You are one weird one Ayame.?
Ayame just stayed silent.

[I]Ha ha?she called you weird?[/I]
[B]I know what she did Blaise?[/B]
[I]Don?t take offence to it my little Ayame. She was just joking. Should I go steal something for you?[/I]
[B]No Blaise. I don?t want you to make everyone suspicious.[/B]

[I]Just trying to have some fun here. It is supposed to be a [U]fun[/U] field trip you know?[/I]

? Are you sure you?re ok for a while Kumiko? You don?t want me to get a teacher or a glass of water??
Kumiko coughed. ? A glass of water would be nice.?
? Ok.?

Ayame walked around the island to find a cool water bubbler for Kumiko. She did look very ill. Maybe its sea-sickness from the boat? Ayame kept walking, looking around for a bubbler when she bumped into someone. She whirled around and apologised profusely.
? I?m sorry. I didn?t know anyone was there. I?m truly sorry.?
When Ayame looked up, she saw it was Keiji. He smiled.
? It?s ok. I didn?t know anyone was here either. You?re Ayame right??
Ayame nodded silently.
? So you are the one looking after Kumiko right??
? Yes. She?s very sick. I was just going to get some water for her.?
? I?ll come with you. Shuuya deserted me and went to talk to Daisuke.?
? Oh, ok.?

Ayame and Keiji walked to a cooler, got Kumiko a cup of water and made their way back to her. On their way back, they passed Risa Harada and a girl they had never seen before. Ayame looked at the girl who had long, shimmering dark red hair. Ayame turned to Keiji.

? Do you know who that girl is? Sitting next to Miss Risa??
Keiji looked behind them at Risa and the girl.
? No. Never seen her before. Maybe she?s with another school group or something.?

When they came back to Kumiko, she was looking very white.
? Kumiko!? Ayame rushed and sat beside her. ? Are you ok??
? Stop asking me that Ayame. I?m fine.?
Ayame wasn?t so convinced. Keiji walked over.
? You do look very sick Kumiko. Maybe you should go to your room and sleep??
Kumiko nodded and drank the cup of water that Ayame gave her. Then she stood. She wobbled about, trying to stand properly. Ayame hooked Kumiko?s arm over her shoulder and Keiji did the same for the other arm. Both of them escorted Kumiko to her room and laid her on her bed. Ayame grabbed a washcloth from the bathroom, soaked it in cold water and laid it across Kumiko?s forehead.

? There, she should be ok for a while.?
Keiji and Ayame left Kumiko in peace to rest. They walked outside and sat on the seat again.

? So Keiji, what are you planning to do on this trip?? Ayame asked timidly.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[color=red]Nuri thought the trip went quite fast and when they arrived she pulled her self off the boat with her bags. She went into a building nad found her room. She didnt know who else might be in this room so she just put her stuff in the corner and sat down in the chair. She put her hair back in a ponytail and leaned back. She stared at the ceiling for a while and began to fall asleep... Traveling on the water always made her sleepy.[/color]

[color=red]Her eyes slowly slid shut and she slipped away into a deep sleep. Her mind ran from one topic to another and soon she was seeing his face again... On the buss, On the boat, and so on. She shook her head in her sleep and someone was extreamly please with this. THe dream quickly turned from flashes of his face to flashes of different peoples deaths... One older man brutaly beaten to death, a girl surrounded in bloog, and then Nuri woke up... She at upright and stared around the room. She could have sworn she heard a gun shot. She shook her head a bit and realized her hair was no longer in the ponytail... and it wasnt ever that long.[/color]

[size=1][color=darkred]Shuuya stayed aboard the boat. Sitting down with Bear at his side.
"You think this will go right Bear?" Bear let out a 'Mrow' and jumped into his lap. "C'mon Bear... Let's go look for my room. And Keiji." Shuuya stood and picked up his bag. And started to walk around. Looking for his room.
[i]Oh calm down kid, just be calm and I won't get out. Hehe.[/i] Shuuya could see in his mind Nathaniel chuckling.
[b]Yeah.. Sure.[/b] When Shuuya found his room, he jumped onto his bed. Around him there was more bed.
"I'd rather bunk with Keiji then anyone else...." Shuuya sighed.
[i]My, my.. It's like you have a little boy crush on him Shuuya. [/i]
[b]What did you say Nat? Keiji is just one of my good friends that's all. I like Riku..![/b] Saying that Shuuya's heart throbbed. He let out a groan.
[i]Heh, seems like I'm gonna be coming out soon.[/i] Nathaniel laughed.
"No.. Not now. We just got here... No." Shuuya walked over toward the door and leaned against it, grabbing his heart. "Nathaniel not now!" Shuuya yelled. He then could hear footsteps coming close.
[i]Fine, I'll spare you this time... Shuuya.[/i]
[b]Thank you.... Nathaniel.[/b] Shuuya let himself fall onto the bed, and let himself fall asleep.[/color][/size]

[SIZE=1]Niwa was walking around pointlssly for some time now. Just gazing at the sites of the wonderful island. [I]There is so much to see around here[/I] Niwa though.

Niwa continued walking around the hotel. If you could call it that. It was indeed very big though. He walked back around the front to hear "Guys 1st floor, Girls second floor, the males are not allowed onto the second floor without a pass from myself or another teacher."

Niwa sighed. And then though [I]He never said they couldn't come to ours, meh[/I] and then walked off again, and into his room, which already has his stuff in it. "Guess we're sharing rooms then, Daisuke". Niwa looked up to see Hiwatari standing just over his bags.

Niwa heard Dark in his head [Why the hell is HE here, and the hell do we have to share a room with HIM][/SIZE]

[COLOR=Navy]The game was postponed as people randomly went to search for their assigned rooms, she wondered who was staying with her in her room and decided to find out. She slowly made her way back to the room and saw a girl sitting on a bed, but Sakura had never seen her before. She was puzzled and approached the girl.

[B]"Who are you? Are you new here?"[/B]
[B]"I'm Inferno, I guess you could say I'm....new."[/B] the girl replied, getting off the bed and brushing past her.

Sakura just watched as she walked off and shrugged, flopping down onto her bed. She was so tired and drifted off into a peaceful sleep, dreaming blissfully about Dark.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed][SIZE=1]Shuichi grumbled as they announced that the game was to be postponed, and decided he would go search for his room like everyone else. He from room to room looking for a spare bed. Finally when he looked into the last room and daw Shuuya and Keji in there. He grinned and bowed slightly.

[B]"Um...Shuuya-kun and Keji-kun, would it be alright if I slept on the floor in here? All the other rooms are taken."[/B]

Shuuya rolled over and snored. Shuichi hit himself on the head, angry that he hadn't realized that Shuuya was sleeping. Twilight laughed hysterically. He turned to Keji and smiled. Keji shrugged.

[B][COLOR=Black]"Sure, go right on ahead. It's no problem, I'm sure Shuuya won't have a problem with that. Oh and don't worry about the honorifics, we're all good friends here. Just call me Keji, kay?"[/COLOR]
"Sure. Thanks alot, Keji-ku--I mean Keji."[/B]

Shuichi began unpacking his stuff and was suprised to see that there was an extra dresser in the room. He grinned and walked over to it, unloading his bag. While he was putting his stuff away he stopped to take a good look at his watch. Suddenly he realised why it intrigued him so much. This wasn't the same watch he had yesterday.

[B][I]No wonder I was having trouble with it this morning. Twilight, you stole this yesterday, didn't you?[/I]
[COLOR=SlateGray][Well you said you needed a new watch sooooo.....Wait...you don't sound angry!][/COLOR][/B]

Shuichi shook his head, startling Twilight. He looked back at the watch happily, then resumed putting away his belongings. Shuichi finall responded to the bewildered Twilight.

[B][I]Nah, I'm not angry. Just wanted to say thanks. I really did need a new watch, I don't think that other one was even telling the proper time.[/I]
[COLOR=SlateGray][Hah,hah, I didn't think so. Glad you like it.][/COLOR][/B]

Keji called Shuichi over to him to show him something. Shuichi leaned over his shoulder to see what it was. When he did, his heart skipped a beat, then compensated for that beat by beating twice as fast.

[B][COLOR=Black]"I found this picture of Ruby Venom in this magazine. Pretty cool, huh? Um, are you gonna be okay?"[/COLOR][/B]

Shuichi had started sweating and was breathing heavy. The room began to spin around him, so bolted out and ran towards the nearest bathroom. By the time he got there, however, he was no longer in a rush. Now he was just confirming what he knew had happened. He looked into the mirror and saw Twilight's grinning face. Twilight laughed.

[B][COLOR=SlateGray]"Wouldn't you love too see this beautiful face everytime you looked in the mirror, Shuichi?"[/COLOR]
[I]I dunno, doesn't look so beautiful to me.[/I][/B]

Twilight and Shuich both laughed. Twilight exited the bathroom and smiled. He walked outside and took a deep breath of the island air. He looked around and dashed off into the trees nearby. He looked around again and burst out lauhing for no reason and walked back towards the hotel, leaving Shuichi confused.

[I][COLOR=SlateGray]I dunno. Just needed to stretch my legs after being locked up in your body all day. So, what shall we do? How 'bout the pool?[/COLOR][/I]

Shuichi took control of his Twlight's body suddenly and rushed him to Sakura's door. He knocked on the door quickly and Twilight took control again, not realising where his master had taken him.

[I][B][COLOR=SlateGray]What're you doing? Trying to get me in trouble or something? 'Cause I really don't care about what any teacher might do to m---[/COLOR][/B][/I]

The door opened and Sakura was standing there. Twilight froze and his heart began to race. She looked at him curiosly.

[B][COLOR=Navy]"Yes? May I help you?"[/COLOR]
[COLOR=SlateGray]"Nope, wrong room, sorry!"[/COLOR][/B]

Twilight ran off and turned back into Shuichi. Shuichi ran back to his room and gave a confused Keji a thumbs-up. He layed down on the ground and sighed. Twilight's angry voice emerged.

[COLOR=SlateGray][B][HEY! What was that for?!?! I just wanted to have fun.][/COLOR]
[I]I know, I know. Have fun later. I don't want anyone finding out about me, understand? But doesn't it seem they all are the same way? If you look in their eyes you can almost see another personality...[/I]

"About time you woke up Shuuya. Shuichi will be bunking with us." Keiji said as he paged through a magazine. Shuuya looked at Shuichi and smiled.
"Hey! What's up man, I totally forgot to talk to you on the boat. Sorry about that." Shuuya exlcaimed.
"It's no problem Shuuya-Kun."
"Woah, woah! Hey, just call me Shuuya. No need to be formal Shuichi." Shuuya smiled at him.

[i]Why are you so soft kid? You know you shouldn't trust any of 'em. If you look deep within 'em you'll see somone truly different. Just watch yourself kid. Or I'll watch you. [/i]
[b]Nat, I can watch myself, plus everyone here shold be harmless! I mean, they're my friends.[/b]

Shuuya laughed aloud, Shuichi and Keiji looked at him.
"Shuuya, you ok man?" Keiji asked. "Shuichi, we both have to look over Shuuya here. He's going a little crazy." Both Shuichi and Keiji laughed.
".. Hey wait. I'm not going that crazy...." Suddenly for some reason he started thinking of Riku.
His heartached. His breaths were becoming heavy. His put his hand to his heart, feeling the beating of his heart. He grunted. Keiji to busy to looking in his magazine. Shuichi looked at Shuuya and dropped all his stuff.
"Shuuya! Shuuya are you alright? Shuuya!" Keiji was startled by Shuichi's yelps.

[i]Kid please let me out. I'll let you see your lover girl if you do... Please. I want out.[/i]
[b]..Not infront of them.. No... Not now.. Wait till I'm out of the room.[/b]

"Shuuya, hey man! Answer us...!" Keiji yelled as he shook him.
"Hey, I'm alright... I just need to use the bathroom.." Shuuya stood limp, and weak and walked out of the room, Bear following him.
"Shuuya do you need help?" Shuichi stood.
"No thanks. Might take a while till I'm back, I really ate something for breakfast." Shuuya laughed and walked out.

When Shuuya entered the bathroom he started to take form, becoming more muscular, hair becoming much longer.

[i]Hey I'm not that kind of guy! Time to go see your lover. If I can find her.[/i] Nathaniel exited the bathroom. He started walking around on the land.

Nathaniel sat on the roof of the room Shuuya stayed in.

[size=2][color=red]Inferna walked around a bit after seeing who Nuri was bunking with and Inferna thought it a bit uncomfortable to be near other people. She walked around for a bit and went outside. She watched clouds slowly drift by and smirked. She wandered around for a bit looking for a victim. She casually walked around for a bit and spotted some older person... Perhaps a teacher. She had a grin on her face as she walked over and hid behind a bush and waited for the teacher to come closer.[/color][/size]

[size=2][color=red]She stepped out behind the person and inspected them a bit. A strange diamond like necklas... And a diamond wedding ring. Why would anyone wear that junk around here Inferna thought to herself. She followed for a while and then approched them.[/color][/size]

[size=2][color=red]"Hello... I am uh... New as you might put it. My name is Uh... Cindy... I just wanted to meet the other people around." Inferna held out her hand and the adult shook it kindly but thinking this girl was a bit strange.[/color][/size]

[size=2][color=red]Inferna grinned in her mind as she easily slip the ring off... Anyone to wear it that loose was stupid in her opinion. Inferna was completely ignoring Nuri who was trying to get Inferna to stop and let her take control of her body again. Inferna then headed around into the trees to wait a bit before returning to the room. She then smiled and wandered towards the hotel and then noticed a few adults near the door conversing. Actually they were blocking the door and the one frazzled adult was the one she just ripped off...[/color][/size]

[size=2][color=red][i][u]An easy climb...[/u][/i] Inferna smiled and gripped the pipe. She easily pulled herself up to the roof. She was very catlike... She could climb like a cat and if she fell she could almost always land on her feet like a cat... She thought very highly of her abilities but Nuri on the other hand though she was just completely over confident and self centered. [size=1][color=#696969]Waking up, Konami realized that she was late for the trip to the island. In fact, she was probably a day late. She sighed, jumped out of bed, and walked downstairs, only to see her grandmother and grandfather drinking green tea and conversing with each other. They saw Konami and her grandfather stood and walked to the door.

[B]"[i]Sofu[/i], where are you going?"

"Come with me, Ko-ko. I'm taking you to the island."[/B]

Wide-eyed, Konami saw the bag that he held and followed him to the car. Her grandmother waved good-bye, as she did the same. She smiled nearly a mile wide on the way to the pier, where a good friend of her grandfather's owned a boat that could take her to the island. They soon arrived and when they had, Ruby had emerged into Konami's mind.

[B][I]["I see we are going to the island as planned, then. Many of those like me will be there. Dark would be there as well. Seeing him once more will be...pleasurable, just as it was after our first encounter. And what of you, Nami? What will you do when you see Niwa?"][/i]

["Nothing. And you'll do nothing when you see the people's other selves. Remember that we are not at the island to fight or to do anything. We're there to find peace and tranquility, just as we do at home. Understood?"]

["Alas, I listen to you, Nami-san."][/B]

Konami looked to her grandfather and walked with her bag over to him. She smiled and got onto the boat with him as his friend greeted the two. She was glad to have made this trip to the island, but she was saddened at the fact that she would leave her grandparents for the first time. It wasn't like her to leave, but it would be good for her mind, body, and spirit to go to the island, possibly away from the distractions that home brings.

[B]"[i]Sofu[/i]?"[/B] Konami's grandfather looked to her. [B]"What would you do without me at home? It would feel empty and lonely, teaching the students by yourself. Do you think you can manage being alone with [i]Sobo[/i]?"[/B]

Her grandfather was quiet for a moment. He then closed his eyes and smelled the salty air. After he had done that, he put a hand on Konami's shoulder and replied. [B]"It will feel different without you, my [i]magomusume[/i]. But I assure you that your [i]Sobo[/i] and I can take care of things by ourselves. You do not have to worry, little Ko-ko."[/B]

Konami's grandfather smiled and she did as well. She was glad to be assured that her [i]Sobo[/i] and [i]Sofu[/i] would be able to handle things alone without her. It may keep her up a bit, but she would soon realize that being without home would probably be a better way for her to spend time alone.

The boat came to a stop and Konami looked to her grandfather. They hugged and she stepped off of the boat, waving good-bye. Turning, she saw a teacher walking towards her and waved to her. Konami was beckoned and a new day started the moment she reached the island.

The girl just stood there, questioning what Nathaniel was doing just standing there.

OOC: Dang! Could you guys stop posting so much? It's hard to keep up on the action. Maybe a post limit of like once a day or something?
And upon closer inspection of the previous posts, first I was with Ayame talking to her on a bench, then I teleported to Shuuya's room, talking to him. I'll fix everything I suppose.

Keiji looked around inside the room. Shuichi was just as confused at what had just happened. Shuuya looked like he was having an internal arguement, and walked quickly out of the room in the middle of the conversation.

"I don't think he's coming back, man." Shuichi said with a rather worried tone.

"I don't think so either. He's going to be in the bathroom for a while"

"Yeah, you're right, Keiji. Let's leave'm alone. We can all talk about the days events tonight."

"I hope so. Anyway, I'm going back out. See ya later." Keiji exited the cabin, and went back on deck, looking for someone to talk to about something... anything. The trip was slightly boring so far. Maybe socialization could change that.

Keiji smiled lightly, pleased that someone wanted to talk to him.

"Thank you for asking, Ayame. I hope to make friends with everyone, and draw upon nature to write haiku. How about you?"

Ayame threw her head back, and gazed at the azure sky in all it's purity. There wasn't any white wisp in sight. Keiji also looked up into the sky, just to see what she was so intent upon.

"I would like to get to know everyone here a little better, and, like you said, draw from nature to get inspiration for the Culture Festival." Ayame turned to look at Keiji, who was staring at the sky still.

"Yes, it's beautiful, isn't it?"

"Oh! Definetly. I'll try to write a haiku about it later." Keiji brought his head back down, and looked at Ayame.

"Maybe you could try now, Keiji? I'd love to hear one from you." She spoke softly, with an innocent tone, rather undemanding, but Keiji felt the need to think of one on the spot.

"Hm... how about...

And the azure sky are now

Keiji thought it was rather terrible, but it expressed exactly what he thought of the unified colors. You could barely tell where one began, and the other ended.

"I think it's good. I know you think it isn't." Somehow, she could pick up on his thoughts, or read his body language. Quicksilver told him girls had ESP. Keiji thought he was joking. He let out a smile at the inside joke, and sighed.

"Yes. I don't really like it, that much, but if you do, I'm sure it's not a bad haiku."

[I]Make a friggin move, idiot. She may like you.[/I]

[B]My god, Quick, don't screw this thing up. I like her, but she doesn't want my paws on her.[/B]

Quick didn't seem to care, as he willed Keiji's hand to land on top of hers. Keiji's external appearance was unreadable, on top of the fact that he was having an internal war with his alter-ego. Ayame didn't like it either.

"Oh! Excuse me. I wasn't thinking..." he trailed off, completely disgusted with himself, that he did this to a girl he liked. He retracted his hand, and put it back on the wood of the bench. Keiji decided to let it go, instead of getting angry.

Ayame blushed, looked at her lap, and remained quiet.

[I]Mr. Emotional, she likes you. She's not mad, now shut up.[/I]

"It's okay. You don't really need to apologize profusely." Ayame smiled, and looked back at Keiji, who was obviously relieved that she wasn't angry or irritated with him.

Nathaniel snickered. Nathaniel then climbed up a tree and scouted the area.

Nat went into a nearby restroom and let Shuuya have his body back.

Shuuya then headed toward his room were Shuichi was.

"He went out."
"Oh, ok. Well, I'm kinda tired right... now." Shuuya walked over to the bed and fell face first into it. Falling asleep.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=#696969]The teacher took Konami to the hotel and signed her in. Konami was taken upstairs to the second floor and was given her key. It seemed that Konami had a room to herself, which was how she liked it. She didn't feel comfortable sharing a room with someone nor did she feel comfortable with Ruby around when someone else was there.

Letting out a small sigh, Konami put her bag on top of the bed and realized it moved. She raised a brow and knew at one what was in the bag. She opened it fully and out popped Navi, her cabbit. Chuckling, Konami watched as Navi meowed and cleaned herself.

[B]"I see you've managed to get yourself here, Navi."[/B] A meow was all that came from Navi. [B]"We'll have fun, you'll see. Which reminds me, Ruby."[/B]

At that moment, Ruby's voice was heard. [B][i]["You beckoned me?"][/i]

["No. I did not. But since you are here, I'm going to remind you not to ruin this trip for me. OK?"]

[i]["Would I ever do such a thing?"][/i]

["Actually, you would. Now, pipe down and let me get some rest. I'm sure we have a full day ahead of us."][/B]

Konami laid upon the bed and Navi curled up next to her. She closed her eyes and drifted to sleep, wandering in a reoccuring dream that seemed to never cease. It had put her into such a deep sleep that she did not realize that Navi was hissing at the glass door. This made Ruby awaken and take control of Konami's body, turning into her other self.

Ruby stretched and yawned. She looked to Navi and the glass door and looked outside. A sudden alert had came to mind and Ruby was ready for whoever or whatever had given this alert to her.[/size][/color]

[Redemption]

[FONT=Trebuchet MS][COLOR=Navy] Ayame smiled to Keiji again.
" It's ok Keiji."

Really it wasn't. When Keiji touched her hand with his, fire flooded through her body. Now she was confused, very confused, if he liked her or not. But, she just put on her smile and left her feelings be for the moment.

" I liked your haiku Keiji. It is very real...the way you described this moment."

[I]Well look who's becoming a philosopher now.[/I]
[B]Blaise, can I have a moment of peace for a while?[/B]
[I]Only cause you asked my little Ayame.[/I]

Keiji looked very distant. Ayame just looked at her hands in her lap.

" Do you know that I'm bunking with Shuuya and Shuichi?"
Ayame's head whirled around when she heard Shuichi's name. " You...you are bunking with Mr Shuichi?"
" Yeah. Him and Shuuya. This is becoming quite a trip."

Ayame's heart thumped against her chest painfully. She moved her hand over her chest and clutched it. Keiji noticed this.
" Are you ok Ayame?"
She couldn't answer. Blaise was going to come out any second and she wouldn't be able to stop it. Her heart thumped against her chest so hard, tears of pain leaked from her eyes. Keiji looked really concerned.

" I'm sorry Keiji. I have to go," Ayame said, standing up swiftly and running off. Keiji sat on the bench stunned. He didn't know what to think....

Meanwhile...

Ayame ran into her room. Kumiko lay on her bed still asleep. Ayame rushed around, trying to find somewhere were she could transform without anyone noticing. Barracading herself in her own bedroom, she felt her hair shorten and her body become more masculine.

" Well that does feel so much better!" Blaise said, now stretching.
[b]Blaise! Don't do anything really serious please! And change out of my clothes would you?![/b] Ayame said telepathically.
" I won't do anything."

Blaise changed into his normal attire - a black, short sleeved shirt, long black pants and a black, mid-length overcoat.
" I'm glad you packed these Ayame!"
[b]I couldn't let you wear my clothes![/b]
" No, I suppose not."

Blaise walked out to Keiji, who was still sitting on the bench where he and Ayame had talked. Blaise clicked his tongue in disapproval, catching Keiji's attention.

" Well, aren't you just a romeo Keiji?"
Keiji stood up. " How do you know my name? And who the hell are you?"
Blaise sidled up to Keiji, confronting him with an air of male arrogance about him.
" I'm a friend of Ayame's."
Keiji's expression lightened a little.
" Is she okay? She ran off just a few minutes ago, clutching her heart."
" She's fine. She told me to talk to you."

[B]What! Blaise! No![/b]
[I] Don't worry Ayame. I'm just going to check this guy out for you.[/I]
[B]Oh .......Blaise.....[/B]

Keiji was all very confused, but more worried than anything else. Ayame had just run out, clutching her heart and running away. Was she alright? Did she need help?

"I'm sorry, maybe we should go check on Ayame. She was clutching her heart. It might be serio--"
Blaise cut him off.
"No. Not really, now answer my question. What do you think of Ayame?" Keiji looked at the ground for a moment and blushed, smiled, and looked the man back in the eyes.

"I think she's a very nice girl. She's not arrogant or rude, but she's understanding and soft-spoken. I like that. Is there some answer you want out of me?"

"Yes... erm... no. erm... No," he finally resolved. ?I just wanted to know."

"And why did you call me Romeo??

?Well, Keiji, you seem like quite the lady?s man.?

?Why do you think that? I don?t play girls.?

?Really? Well, I've heard ... differently." A smile curled around the corner of his lips.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. And why would she want you to talk to me for? If you can't answer my questions, I'm going to check on her. She looked like she was in pain or something." Keiji was genuinely worried about her. For all he knew, it could be serious.

"Look, kid, I told you she was alright. Now chill. I'm just collecting... recon... That's it."

Blaise opened his mouth to answer Keiji's question.

" So you think my Ayame's sweet?" Blaise sniggered. " Well that's her alright."

" Well I let that one slip. Ayame ....you could say.......is like a little sister to me....so don't mess with her! Otherwise you mess with me kid!"
Keiji looked like a stunned mullet. He'd never would have believed that Ayame could be associated with someone like this.

[B]Blaise! You are so mean![/B]
[I]What?[/I]

Blaise turned his head around absent-mindedly and saw two people on a roof. One was a guy sitting and the other was a chick. A wry grin spread across Blaise's face.
" Well cya later kid. Ayame will be back soon to talk to you again. Remember what I said punk!"

With that Blaise walked away, going towards the couple on the roof. With Keiji now out of sight, Blaise leapt up onto the roof next to the one with the two people on it. His black coat fluttered as he landed silently.

" ....my name is Inferna..." the chick said rather agitated.

[I]Wow....she's a stunner.....[/I]

Then his heart started to race.
" What! No.....It can't be."
Blaise quickly leapt back off the roof and landed roughly in a patch of grass. Slowly, he made his way to Ayame's room. Back in her bedroom, he turned back into Ayame. She quickly changed out of Blaise's clothes and changed into hers. Then she went back out to Keiji, who looked extremely confused and horrified.

" Are you okay Keiji?" Ayame asked. [/COLOR][/FONT]

[Lilt]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=royalblue]Riku, (or whoever she was now.) was walking with Risa, trying to act normal. Which wasn't helping, since she was already attracting a lot of attention. Risa tried to stop Rika from worrying about never being able to change back to her normal self, by listing all of the good things about her new body. But Riku could tell by her sister's body language, that she was even more jealous of Riku now, than she ever was before. Then, Riku saw him. It was Niwa-kun. He must've changed and come out of his room to explore, like everyone else. He was heading her way, and Riku thought she was going to start blushing. Instead, what she did next surprised her. She clutched her fists, and gritted her teeth as she walked over to Niwa-kun. Risa called after her, but she didn't stop. In fact, she couldn't stop. Riku couldn't control her new body anymore. Niwa-kun wasn't watching where he was going, and he didn't even notice Riku holding her foot out in front of him. He tripped and fell flat on his face.[/color][/size][/font]

Her heart started beating faster, and she ran away and hid in a closet. When she opened her eyes, she was finally back to normal. [size=1][color=#696969]The caution subsided and Ruby turned back into Konami, who was standing in front of the glass door angered. She looked to Navi, who hopped away knowing that Konami was going to explode. But Konami laughed and held a hand to her head. She knew this was bound to happen, but it didn't matter.

[i]["Quite. Let us venture out unto to the island and seek allies and enemies."][/i]

Konami walked to her bag and took out her bear beanie, a dark navy blue tank top, black sleeveless hoody, and black capris. She then took out a burgundy corset, black pants, and a pair of black high heels, as well as a black cloak. This was all for Ruby when she had emerged, and it was within minutes that Ruby could emerge to the surface.

Nodding, Konami turned her back to look at the mirror and Navi had placed herself into the bag. Ruby chuckled and Konami wondered what was so amusing. She turned back to see Navi in the bag, with her head popping out.

[B]"Ok. Are you ready, Navi?"[/B] A meow was all that came from the small creature. [B]"Let's go. And remember, no transforming in public eye. Warn me before you do so that I can change into your clothes."

Heading out the door, Konami took her key and left. She walked down the hallway and went down the stairs only to see Niwa, Riku, and Risa in the hallway. There was something different about Riku and Ruby was the first to know.

[B][i]["Nami-san, 'tis Lilt Knacky. She's feisty and Riku does not know what to do with Lilt. It seems that her other self has the greater control and she is dragging Riku along for a ride."][/i]

["My, my. That's not good. We'll have to bring some manners to Lilt."][/B]

Niwa stood and saw Konami staring at Lilt. A smirk appeared upon her face and Niwa shook his head, but Konami disobeyed him and turned to Lilt. Risa was right behind Riku and Niwa stood as the two eyed each other.[/size][/color]

[Retribution]

"Erm... Yeah. Better yet, are [i]you[/i] okay? You ran out of here without any warning... you looked hurt or something."

"Yes. I'm alright. Thank you for asking. But you look flustered. What happened?"

"Yeah... some guy just told me to step off or something." Keiji sighed, and looked at his feet, then bck at Ayame. "Yeah, he said he was like... you're older brother. And if I messed with you, I'd be in it deep. Just... just tell him I'm sorry for angering him. And sorry to you if all that was about me. I'm sorry."

Ayame looked sad, and a little frusterated. Blaise had thoroughly confused Keiji. On top of it all, Keiji felt sorry for 'messing' with Ayame. It looked like Ayame didn't feel like Keiji was annoying, pestering, or heavily flirting with her. He was a soft-spoken guy, and rather passive in his action and demeanor. He wasn't going to thoroughly argue with Ayame's 'older brother.'

"Just tell me though. Was what he was saying right about me? I can see he doesn't like me, for whatever his reasons are, but do you want me gone too?" Ayame fumbled for the words. She mouthed a few times, stuttered, and shut her mouth. Finally, she came up with the right words.

"N.... no! He's protective. I don't want you gone, but he does. I'm sorry about him. And you don't need to apologize about him not liking you. And for the record, Keiji, I'm alright now. Thank you for worrying about me."

"Uh.. um... not a problem!" Keiji smiled, but beneath the surface, he was horridly and utterly confused. Some guy had just ran up, called him Romeo, told him not to talk to Ayame, or else he'd be mugged... or whatever else. And then he left, just as quickly as he appeared. And Ayame had ran off clutching her heart, barely able to speak, but came back just a few moments later to tell him that she didn't want him to listen to the guy's words. "But will that guy actually ... harm me?"

"No... no, he won't." Ayame trailed off at the end of the answer, looking like she was battling internally with the response she had just given.

[I]Quick, if you're there, what the heck am I supposed to do?! [/I]
[B]Ah... lady problems, huh? Just do whatever she wants... listen to what she says, and don't do anything stupid. She's very genuine and nice. She'll be rational.[/B]

Keiji stopped communicating to Quicksilver, and responded to Ayame, so quickly there was no time elapse to suggest a pause in the conversation. He was getting good at the thinking to Quicksilver.

"That's good. Erm... Ayame... do you like anyone on the trip yet?" Ayame paused before answering.

" I do....but I don't really want to tell anyone." She looked at her feet, her face as red as a rose.
" That's okay Ayame," Keiji replied, again looking at the stars.
" Umm....Keiji....."
" Yes Ayame?"
" Do you want to go for a walk somewhere, do something, it should be nearing dinner time."
" Sure."

Together they rose and walked off to find the beach. Cool waves lapped at the shore softly - the sound calming to anyone who decided to listen for a few moments.
Ayame had taken off her shoes and walked in the white sand with bare feet. It was a new experience for her, walking along the beach with company that she liked.

The moon shone across the water, the reflection slightly distorting in the ripples of oncoming waves. It was so peaceful, so calming...

Ayame walked down to the water and let it lap her feet. Keiji watched her with amusement. Her blonde hair was silver in the moonlight and her grey eyes seemed to radiate a soft beauty. Keiji was stunned at this momentary lapse in time.

Ayame squealed in enjoyment at the feeling of the cool water running over her feet. This squeal knocked Keiji back into reality. He watched her face for another second. The expression on it could only tell of immense joy and happiness. He'd never seen someone so happy before.

Suddenly, a clear bell rang out through the still night. Both Ayame and Keiji looked at the source.
" I think that's the dinner bell," Ayame said to Keiji as she came to his side. The night was getting old, the moon at the highest point in the sky already.
" Yeah, lets go have something to eat. I'm starving!"
" Yes, me too," Ayame agreed.

Soon, they found the great dining hall. It was an open building, having no walls, just posts holding up the roof, with three very long tables sitting in the middle. The roof was made out of palm leaves, thatched together to give the tropical feel to the building. The posts that held the roof was richly carved with legends that the indigenous people told for centuries before the school students arrived. Outside the building, a lone brass bell hung from its structure. The rope to it gently swayed, telling them that it was the bell that rang before.

" Looks like this is it," Keiji said.
" Yes. Some of the other students are here too," Ayame added.
They sat down together, talking to each other, waiting for food and people to join them. [/COLOR][/FONT]

[Retribution]

Keiji was still smiling from Ayame's laughter on the beach. They say such stuff is contageous.

"Hey, Ayame, why were you so happy? At the beach, I mean."

"It's such a great place. The water is all around your feet, and the sand is soft. It's almost perfect."

Keiji, still sat intriguied at how jubilant she had just been, and still was, somewhat. [i]How do people become that happy?[/i] The question nagged inside of him. He wasn't at all depressed, just not all cheery and ready to run around a beach.

"Yeah... I guess I only feel like that when I'm under the stars, a sky full of them. It makes my problems seem so small... so insignificant in comparison. Besides, they're so beautiful. Each one's a priceless diamond."

"That's very poetic of you. The stars [i]are[/i] very nice here."

"Definetly! Especially because there's no other light pollution from nearby cities. They should be clear. Would you like to watch them tonight with me?"

"I'm not sure. What time?" Ayame replied slowly, thoughtfully. Again, it looked like she was struggling with mixed up emotions inside of her.

"I guess just before we go to bed. Maybe a little before, so that we have more time. I just have to find a good spot to look at them from. Perhaps a large rock."

"Maybe... I'll tell you later."

A man walked over to the two, wearing a waiter uniform.

"Would you two like anything to drink while you wait?"

"Water is fine for me," said Keiji. The waiter looked back at Ayame, expecting a reply.
