Broken bottles and empty fast food packets littered the empty streets of Lower J19-02, a rundown city on the outer edge of Ohmegah 7, World Capitol.

Now the City is inhabited by drunks, whores and bankrupt business men looking for a quick lay with no strings attached. That?s how Special Tactics Unit; Agent 4, known as Kiri to her friends, saw it anyway. She looked out of the Hover?s window, ignoring the footage being played on the monitor in front of her, relayed to the STU via one of the many Air Bots patrolling the City streets.

Tonight, her shift was tough; A4 was partnered with her worst nightmare, Agent 1, best of the best and leader of the STU. He considered A4 to not only be a lesser Agent because of her lower ranking, but for the sheer fact that she was a woman, and a determined one at that.

He turned his head to face her, setting the Hover on auto, a smirk plastered across his pretty face,
?Daydreaming, girl??
A4 blanched, whirling in her seat to stare at A1, levelling him with a cold stare,
?I told you not to call me that.?
?Would you prefer woman, then??
??Go to hell.?
A1 laughed and checked his wrist mounted monitor, seeing no activity from the streets below. He checked the digital clock displayed on his control panel and popped his neck, turning once more to his now fuming partner.
?Nearly the end of our shift, wanna make my night worthwhile?? He smirked again, reaching out to touch the young woman?s chin, before she promptly slapped it away, trying to keep her cool. She knew he didn?t want her in any way, but she had already lashed out at a fellow Agent and now she was on her final warning. A1 laughed and stopped the Hover once they reached the station which coupled up as housing for the Agents on the night shift. He took his security card and logged out of the system before walking to his room?s door, pressing his thumb into a needle to draw a drop of blood for security reasons. His DNA was verified and he was granted access to his room, leaving A4 in the entrance hall.

She sighed as she went through the same process, entering her room and stripping herself of her uniform. It was only when she turned on the light that she noticed a white envelope on her bed. She ripped the seal and pulled out the contents, lighting a cigarette as she did so. The message enclosed was a breath of fresh air;

Special Tactics Unit; Agent 4,
You have been selected form your Unit to take part in an undercover assignment where you will infiltrate one of the Illegal Racing groups that are know to host mass Drag Racing Tournaments.
We expect that you will succeed in this task as you are not known by the suspects and considering your background, you will fit in well.
Start in two days.
Force C Commander Shijinko.
----
This RP is set in the year 3000 (or there about) so all the cars are hovering, they are so much faster than cars we have today and therefore underground racing (though still illegal) is extremely popular. Since the cars hover, there brakes are not as good and only really experienced drivers can use them at their maximum speed and most racers make there Hovers even faster, increasing the danger. A lot of people die through drag racing and the punishment for being in one if life imprisonment. Being involved in a crash where someone is killed is the death penalty or solitary confinement depending on the circumstances.

You can go pretty crazy on the cars, just don?t make them able to win all races hands down. Every machine has a fatal flaw, you must include one.

Now I need an Agent 1, but he?s reserved for ULX.

I don?t need any other people from Special Tactics, but feel free to sign up as them. There are 6 members in total.

I do, however, need some racers who are involved in the group (they will be called the Lightning Panthers) that Kiri (me) is infiltrating. I have someone in mind who?s going to be ?one of the best?, but I?m not sure if he?s too busy.

If you want to get your vehicle specs checked first, then just PM them to me and I?ll see if they are okay.
Like I said, you can really go crazy on this one. I may need one of two people from the main rival gang, they will be known as Shadow Spider.

If you don?t want to be a part of either, you don?t even have to be a racer, just say which gang you are involved with ie. Make one up yourself.

Gender: There is only one female, and that?s Kiri
Weapon of Choice: No bazooka?s, people, keep it to things that can be hand held. Feel free to make up new weapons, but make it realistic and NOT invincible.
Appearance:
Personality: Mainly how the person is around other agents, around Kiri and what their views on Drag Racing are.
Why are you here? This replaces the Bio, why did they join the Special Tactics Unit
Note: Specials Tactics deals mainly with Drag Racing and Murder involving the Drag Racing gangs.

Bio/ Extra Notes: This isn?t too necessary, just fill out some things if you feel people should know them. Like how many races you?ve been in and positions you hold. I don?t want ANYONE to say that they always come first.

Any questions go to my inbox, if you feel it necessary for me to give a broader description of the City and surrounding Race Grounds, then just say and I?ll do my best.

I kinda like racing RPs... Uhh... did you froget to put in a few things in the sign up? Its missing age and appearance for racer.

Name: Marlou Aristotle

Nickname: Mac

Age: 26

Description: Mac is a very short person, with squinty eyes and dark skin. His body is fairly nondiscript, his arms aren't particularily well muscled, nor are his legs. His face is narrow, round, and strange. He wares his hair in large dreadlocks, which he spikes so they stand upwards, then dyes the tips of them a deep purple. In the end, he seems very... crazy. He also wares yellow-tinted goggles, and sometime he wares a hat, with holes cut in it, so his hair still sticks out. Its more of a tuc, really, made of black wool and with ear flaps that fly in the wind.

Car Name: Thialand Express

Car Discription: Thialand Express is a modified racing modle, sleek and airodynamicly desinged. The entire car is dark blue, with the words "Thialand Express" written on the side, in neon-green, outlined in grey. The car has one major modification, and that is that it is an open cockpit. It is a wonder that Mac can stay alive going at those speeds in the open, but that is just part of his wild nature.

Car Specs: Thialand Express is a very fast car, one of the fastest in the circuit, with a speedy acceleration. Its main fault is its handling. Mac has set it to be extremly loose, making it prone to spinning out, smashing into buildings on a turn, and providing an extremly etertaining run.

Speed: 387 (Though he claims it has gone 420)

Armour: 100

Driver Skill: Mac is known for his utter recklessness when it comes to racing, as well as other things, and his speed is envied by many people. He also has a record number of crashes, as well as a record number of close calls with the cops. Mac is best in the snow, somthing about it gives him an almost zealous need for speed.

Gang Name: Lightning Panthers

Bio/Notes: Mac currently holds 6th place. and has been in over 140 races. He is well known for his victory spin, in which he removes all stearing from Thialand Express, and spins in a still circle at volocities of up to 600 in a dead spin.

Stat:
Races: 148
Wins: 67
Crashes: 56
Felonies: 23
Misdeminors: 20
Arrests: 3

Sign Up:
Position: Racer.

Name: Zaru. Li. Choa's.
Nickname: D.c.
- Data Clov.

Age: 20.
Appearance: With a height of 5'7 and weighting only 104 lbs., D.c.'s rather tall. Having a frail build, it dose not add to the way others should happen to look at her. Her skin color is a light brown, but is pale in comparison to most. Her eyes are colored in a vivid brown, around her pupils there seems to appear a pure, bright, green lining, that merges into red near the very center mark. D.c.'s hair is long and full, coming down to her waist. She has long shaggy bangs that meet to her forehead. The coloring is of a subtle rose like brown. Her hair is neatly kept. Over all her hair seems to curl inwards accenting her skull or arond her body.

Generally, D.c. wears something that is often misjudged for something similar to a black jump suit. A short sleeve, v neck line, black shirt. Coming two inches below her waist line, it gets thinner in dimensions as it over laps the top rim of her pants. It zips up the middle in a silver lining and breaks off into a tri-point collar. However, underneath she wears another shirt that is pastel green. It is thinner and lighter material giving off a lightly transparent look. Her pants are black as well and is made out of the same clothing materiel. They are pressed, orderly, and provide easy maneuverability. The flow, just slight, and down to the inner edging have upward cutlets. As for foot wear, she wears plan black ankle boots.

On her hips hangs a silver chain, over-lapped by a pastel green belt. Around her neck she wears a basic collar, attached to another free lapping chain that seems to have broken off from something. At the left lower side of her neck D.c. has a tattoo that reaches up. Although few can see it, the design is simple of a clover with a rose's vine creeping around it and the number '9' in the center. The tattoo ends at her lower jaw.

Car Name: Nine.
Car Description: Sleek and in mainly shades of gray, it is fairly long. With measurements of three and a half yards long and one yard wide the vehicle has a flate paneled shielding on the front. A black dresser piece over lines this panel as it goes further up. Curving underneath a white logo the stripe then merges into a black streak of paint that lines through the rest of the vehicle, until it hits the one winged back shift. The one winged back shift is totally lined in black and attaches twice to the back end of the Nine which breaks off into three folds/ruffles. Allowing for wind resistance on curves.

From the three folds/ruffles it then goes nearly a foot inwards to another logo. Inverted from the one on the front hood. Above this logo it has a minor detail showing a green lining back to the newly inputted driving system.

The dash bored system is un-like any other. Unlike most cares it has no real steering wheel, instead it has a suspended sphere with two other sphere floating around it. It is lined in silver metal but not completely. Within the curves is a green lining. The two smaller sphere are totally neon lights and are there simply for show. On the dash bored is a built-in computer, the screen is small and to the right. There is a leaver laced in cords on the metal linging of he over head glass, when pulled forwards it allows the driver to accelerate or set the gas into a computer moderated state.

The break system is that of a basic hover-car. However, this car has terrible turn capabilities. (Please click here for a breif over view.)

Speed: 398.5 mph.
Defence: 200 a.d.

Driver Skill: D.c. is known mainly for speed and endurance, this racer has never been known to crash. Doing well in any terrain D.c.'s car has been specifically altered to go solely upon either; length of brain wave from the car's over head scanner. Or the possible calculations imputed into the car's computer's main drive. Going off upon the environment, wind factor, and data collected from adversary racers.

The only member of Shadow Spider known to have, slight, issues with turning. It is nearly impossible for D.c. to make prefect 90 degree turn table angles. When tried, the wind carries the 'Nine' upon the wrong mathematical under panels allowing for misconception or calculation and/or swerving patterns.

Thinks before she acts.

Gang Name: Shadow Spider.

Personality: Quite. Responsible. Seemingly, cold hearted. D.c. is more like a doll then a person.

Unlike most other racers, D.c. dose not seem to have such a 'high' attitude about her-self. She, her-self, dose not believe to have more skills then anyone else. Allowing her to always strive for the best and draw out her full potential. Not only for her self, but for the Shadow Spiders as a whole.

Quite, D.c. talks little to none. Often mistaking others to think that she is mute. This is not true, though, rather then talking she simply takes logical orders from other members of the Shadow Spiders. Having learnt the hard way it is better to keep one's mouth shut in the world of racing.

D.c. is considered the more responsible one in the group. Rather then taking in to consideration the thoughts of others, she'll act ignoring those of whom she doesn't know. But will always be the one who is able to move in and out of crowded areas, collect data upon other competitors without hesitation. She is able to act quickly while still knowing to think it out first.

Bio: Born into a family of a strange combination, journalist and mechanics, Zaru was terrible at both. Her field of area was always mathematics and science, more so that she couldn't be a mechanics. Absolutely loathing build or taking thing apart, but wonderful of programming at the age of 16 a friend introduced her to a few mechanics. She then realized the important of computer programming in certain types of hover-cars. Allowing them to go above and beyond even the fastest.

Notes:
- D.c. appears to be genderless, to those who don't know her real name.
- Preferrs to wear a seat belt, but no helmet.
- Her placement, over, all is 3rd.

Statistics:
- Wins: 28.
- Loses: 7.
- Crashes: 3.
- Felonies: 0.
- Misdemeanors: 1.
- Arrestments: 0.

Name: Matt R. Long

Nickname: Outlaw

Car Name: Delta Fox

Car Description: A sleek, thin model, Delta Fox is a approximately three feet wide, five feet long, and three and a half feet tall, disincluding the roll cage. It hovers about a foot off the ground, though it does have four-wheel capability. Reminiscent of the Warthogs from the HALO game series, the car is a solid green color with the emblem of a fox inside a triangle on the hood and doors. It appears well-armored, especially the hood, and the headlights are half-inch by three-inch rectangles embedded in a crevasse of the hood. The brake lights are similar, though on the back. It has an uncovered roll cage that extends barely a foot over the top of the car,, and is extremely aerodynamic. Delta Fox is built for speed and defense, with the crumple zone and doors extrmeley well-armored. The rear, and when equipped, tires, however, are less defended. Delta Fox is equipped with a turbo boost system that rapidly drains fuel, but extends the car's maximum speed by about 50 MPH as long as it is in use.

Speed: 378 MPH (430 MPH DFT active)

Defence: 115 AD

Driver Skill: Outlaw is an extremely skilled driver on most terrain, though his specialty track is any form of road, paved or not. It is due to this that he is the leader of the Lightning Panthers, considered the best of the best. He is weak, however, on dry track or trackless paths such as mountain trails. Outlaw favors inclement weather, such as rain or cloudy days, as he is optically sensitive to light, and sunglasses help little. Outlaw is unmatched in turns, power-slides, and ramming.

Outlaw is efficient, focused, and knows exactly what he's doing on the road. It just doesn't seem that way. He often takes risks that, though they frequently pay off, they remove an exorbitant amount of AD when they don't. He is known for cutting off other drivers, then spinning the car around and ramming the opponent's car, though he only does this when a member of his gang is either in the lead, in trouble, or both.

Gang Name: Lightning Panthers

Personality: Loyal, yet brash, cocky, and reckless out of the car, Outlaw lives up to his name very well. Outlaw lives for the risk, for the thrill, and for the challenge of street racing. He is the tough guy type, never admitting a weakness and never accepting help unless asked for, and that's rarely. He has the skills, strength, and readiness to back up his attitude, however, so his cocky attitude is actually an exceptional amount of self-confidence. Outlaw does have a soft side, particularly a love of children, cats, and manga. He has never been with a woman, and, as a matter of fact, has had only one failed relationship when he was a child. He does his level-best to look out for his gang, especially the newbies.

Bio/ Extra Notes: The leader of the Lightning Panthers, Outlaw is ranked #1 of all the drivers in the City, though much speculation and controversy are attached to the rank. Many argue that the leader of Shadow Spider is the #1 driver. Outlaw has raced in over 150 races, and has come in first in over half of them. The remainder, with the exception of his first ten, show him placed in the top five.

Outlaw can be seen to execute an exceptional maneuver in dire circumstances. His Delta Overdrive is a dangerous technique, normally executed in a tunnel or along a wide alley's walls. The maneuver is executed in the following manner: Outlaw will first drive his car on the wall, accelerating using his DFT (Delta Fox Turbo) system, and when aligned with an opposing vehicle, will kick his hovers into high gear for a moment, launching him away from the wall, into a somersault, and on top of the opponent's car. The maneuver removes a great deal of AD from the opposing car, gains Delta Fox a new position in the race, and deals minimum damage to Delta Fox's AD. The move is used rarely due to advanced fuel consumption by the DFT, the HOD (Hover Overdrive), and car-on-car acceleration.

Outlaw's record is as follows, in plain terms:
Races: 154
Wins: 85
Crashes: 14
Felonies: 0
Misdemeanors: 13
Arrests: 3

A photo of Outlaw at his first misdemeanor is attached.

Also, a photo of Delta Fox with its all-terrain tires is attached.

Agent Sign-Up

Real Name: Ethan Dregmadon (Now goes by Covenant III)
Code Name: Agent 3 (A3)
Gender: Male
Weapon of Choice: Two fusion-based handguns called Redemption, capable of firing light armor-piercing bullets encased in a fusion shell (specifically designed to pierce hovercar hulls). While the firing rate does not compare to a submachine gun, wielding two at once allows Covenant III to alternate firing, creating the illusion of a faster firing rate. Aside from this, the Redemption are not too dissimilar to the standard handgun.

In addition to this, Covenant III wields a new close range, pulse-based weapon called Hound's Tooth. This device attaches to Covenant III's right arm and is capable of generating powerful pulses of energy at very short range. Due to the nature of this weapon, Covenant III uses Hound's Tooth to augment his hand-to-hand training, and will only use it when a target enters melee range. Most of the time, Covenant III prefers to physically strike his target with a punch and releasing the pulse of energy at the same time, generally sending the target several yards backwards.

Both weapons can be seen in this picture

Appearance: Here

Personality: Covenant III may seem cold and distant at times, but that's only because he tries hard not to form close emotional connections with anyone around him. His focus is first and foremost his mission -- which is why Covenant seems to have trouble making friends. Always placing the task given to him in Special Tactics before everything else (including his own survival), Covenant has a hard time getting along with others who do not share this view. His temper varies depending on the situation -- when he does snap, however, he usually does so in solitude and thus none have been injured because of this (except the wounds he inflicts upon himself, that is).

Oddly enough, Covenant seems most comfortable around Kiri, the only female officer in the Special Tactics Unit. Perhaps it was her no-nonsense attitude around Agent 1, whom Covenant personally had no quarrel with -- but he could see why others didn't like him. Her calm and cool demeanor matched Covenant's coldness, making them an efficient, albeit interesting, mix of personalities.

Why are you here? Ethan's father and mother were both lawyers, and over time, both quickly came to realize the dangers posed by drag racing. Ethan's older brother, Vincent, was a racer -- though his parents did their best to keep this under wraps, for the sake of their reputation. Vincent also had a drug habit, and was generally unresponsive to his parents' attempt to steer him away from the path of danger. This failed, however, when Vincent was apprehended by the police and brought to trial on the account of vehicular manslaughter, thanks to a previous race.

Ethan's parents now faced a heartrending decision. Would one accept the case and defend Vincent at the cost of his/her reputation? Or leave him to the mercy of the courts and disown him as a son? After pondering this in sorrowful silence for several days, the Dregmadons turned their backs on their eldest son. Ethan, who was only ten at the time, was unable to comprehend such a situation, and as if feeling guilty for the loss of one son, his parents gradually became more and more considerate of Ethan and his feelings. But it was only a year later when both parents were murdered by members of the Lightning Panthers, the gang that Vincent was a part of. Ethan was sent to a foster family, and the murderers were never apprehended. On that day, Ethan vowed to end the drag gangs' reign of terror, leading to his enrollment in the military academy and eventually Special Tactics.

He took the name Covenant III after entering Special Tactics, in order to shed the burden of his parents and his brother. Adding the number "III" on the end of his name was a gesture of remembrance for Covenant's dead mother, father and brother -- whom he had sworn to avenge by whatever means possible. Thus, only a select few other Special Tactics members know of Covenant's connection with the murdered Dregmadon lawyers and a convicted criminal by the name of Vincent Dregmadon.

Agent Sign Up:

Real Name: Kiri Conner
Code Name: Agent 4 (A4)
Gender: Female
Weapon of Choice: A simple hand held electro shocker. It's in the shape of a gun and shoots a jet of gel, which can be (if desired) charged with electricity by turning up the speed. The friction of the gel rubbing against the edge of the barrel charges it with static, causing a minor shock. The gel is very useful for healing burns but is so cool that it can destroy certain parts of the Hover Car engines. Kiri has taken out a couple of Hover cars with this very gun. It does come in a much larger size.

Appearance: *attachment*
Kiri in casual clothes, holding her electro shocker.

Personality: Kiri is, in most situations, very calm and in control of her temper. It's when people like A1 get under her skin that she blows a gasket, and when she does, it's advisable to be as far away form her as possible.

She has already been put in confinement for 3 days for breaking Agent 2's nose, who at the time was insulting her marksmanship skills saying that only a woman could miss a target 200 feet away. Kiri has no time for chauvinists, especially the arrogant kind, hence the reason why she has an extreme dislike for A1.

Why are you here? Kiri's father was a Detective who was fired when he tried to enforce his opinions too strongly during one mission. He made the grave mistake of threatening a fellow officer with his gun, not actually intending to use it but the gesture was enough. Kiri seems to have got her temper from her father, while her mother is extremely passive and loving.

Even though her father had been removed form the Police, he sill wanted to crack down on Drag Racing and he created the at the time, underground unit known as the Special Tactics Squad (later renamed Special Tactics Unit). The police appreciated that the squad was doing brilliantly at their task and made them an official part of the force.

Kiri, after celebrating her 18th birthday was handed her father's old electro shocker gun, with a note telling her to continue on with his dream of stopping drag racing dead. When Kiri asked why her father did not hand it to her in person, she was told, quite bluntly, that he had been killed during crossfire between the Lightening Panthers and Shadow Spider.
It was then that she realised she should train, rise in the ranks, and kill the leader of the Lightening Panthers.

Great sign ups so far, not too many problems, I'll leave this open 'till about Wednesday.

Agent Sign Up:

Real Name: Kana Yoshitomo
Code Name: Agent 1
Gender: Male
Weapon of Choice: Kana is skilled with pretty much anything you put in his hands and call a weapon, and he is also proficient in hand to hand. However, he does often carry a compact, high-power handgun called the Kana-X (his own design).
His even more specialized weapon is a prototype. He is always seen wearing several silver rings (see picture). These rings are, in actuality, the prototype weapons, a cyborganic compound that crafts itself into a large sword-like object (see picture). He eagerly vaulenteered for the project, to again prove his superiority.
Appearance: Kana
Personality: Kana, being Agent 1, is naturally egotistical and arrogant. He veiws all others as inferiors - particularly Agent 4. In addition to his swolen head, he also has a tendancy to play games with other people's heads. This makes him a good investigator and interrigator, allowing him to lead people into boxes and force confessions out of them faster than sodium pentathol.

Outside of his professional affairs, Kana is still generally arrogant and self-confident. He's also known for having a new girlfriend every month or so. In fact, it seems the only girl he can't charm into his bed is Agent 4, mainly because he takes pleasure in her pain.
Why are you here?: Kana joined the Special Tactics Unit for one reason and one reason only; to prove that he is the best. He has always been the best at everything he does, and joining the respected STU is perfect for someone seeking an ego-trip. Smart, capable, and deadly, he quickly rose the ranks, becoming the semi-leader of STU.

While this is widely believed to be true, some doubt that that is his only motivation. However, he refuses to divulge more on the topic, having broken a few skulls for pushing the point.

Real Name: Jake Ward
Code Name: Agent 6
Gender: Male
Weapon of Choice: Jake specializes in mainly small handguns or a simple melee weapon. During STU missions, he chooses his semi-auto laser pistol. The small balls of energy are quite accurate and have pretty good armor piercing abilities. The gun itself has a high shot rate, depending on the trigger finger of the wielder, in which Jake has a great one. He also carries a small plasma baton for close-quarter combat.
Appearance: Jake
Personality: Jake is a quiet man, kind and gentlemenly when needed to be. When around the other agents, he will voice his opinion and then keep silent until he feels the need to speak again. However, when he sees Kiri, he tends to try and be somewhat close to her. He doesn't quite understand why he does this, but he doesn't fight it either. His views on the illegal Drag Racing events are that they are simply a bother to himself and the other agents.
Why are you here? Jake joined the STU because he felt he needed to repay his debt to the world. He had done some malicious things in his past and he wishes to attone them by bringing justice to the world around him. Jake cannot stand to see the carnage in the lower half of J19-02, and he pledges to bring an end to the Drag Racing that has been occuring recently. He is currently the lowest ranking agent, but he is working as best he can to assist the other Agents and helping solve this racing problem once and for all.

Hope this is alright. I'll change anything if I so need to.

Car Description-Spade is puny and weak. Smaller than other hovers by about two feet and weighing much less, its Defense is far inferior to every other racer on the scene. These light atributes, however, give spade large advantages in handling and acceleration. The hover's small design doesnt allow for a powerful engine to be installed, so Spade also comes out wanting in the top speed area as well as defense. The high acceleration rate and small stature make the car very hard to ram. The handling stays tight on any terrain, but strong winds can blow the little car off course on a turn.

Spade's cosmetic design is fairly simple for most hovers of the day. The entire body is jet black, and painted on to the hood is a flaming blue outline of, what else, a spade. Both doors are branded with one Ace Of Spades card each that takes up the entire door.

Speed-360 MPH.

Defence-70 AD.

Driver Skill-Rom is a new driver who finishes races with a good bit of luck and natural talent. When racing he is very single minded, focusing on one objective at a time. His objective, however, is usually just to make sure he does everything he can to make sure DC wins. He drives well in all terrain, but is easily thwarted by strong winds. Rom uses his quick reflexes and zippy, small car to dodge around more agressive apponents.

Gang Name-Shadow Spiders.

Personality-Rom struts around his gang's safehouse (hideout?HQ?) with a mixture of confidence and respect for his peers that has earned the rookie driver great respect from the other shadow spiders. The drivers even younger than him use Rom as a way to communicate with the more veteran drivers, and the veteran drivers look at Rom as an investment in the future. All drivers are very protective of their young racer.Rom helps a fellow member whenever he can, and disposes himself to help DC any chance he gets. As his leader, Rom looks up to DC and is always trying to earn her trust.

Bio-As a boy growing up, Rom had pretty much everything he ever wanted. His father was a doctor, and his mother owned a renovation company, so there was plenty of cash flying around. when he came of age, Rom's parents sent him to the finest school they could afford. Their son, however, had other plans. taking the money he had been given for tuition and lodging, he invested in racing. He paid a mechanic to build spade, teaching him as they went so Rom could make his own repairs. After a few months of toting his car round the city, the Shadow Spiders picked him up and taught him how to drive. He learned quickly and became an asset to the gang's racing strategy.

Note-Rom holds 13th place over all, due to the fact he races for the betterment of DC and not his own.

Note-Rom was the first to master the art of "hopping" a hover by directing all energy to the front hover pads and quickly taking all of that energy and putting into the rear pads. This technique recquires perfect timing, otherise the hover will do a full front or back flip. when succesfully executed, it will send a hover in an arcing jump that varies in height owing to the weight of the hover executing the maneuver. The first hop ever was done in a race where Rom,DC, and Outlaw were all going into the same turn. Rom hopped the spade over DC's nine and landed right on top of Delta Fox, rendering outlaw blind and slamming both spade and delta fox into the wall of the turn, totalling both cars.

I swear I didn't steal your idea from you, Mehr. It was a coincedence, but I'm going to make it that Firefly stole the idea from your character, and had a system built in that could copy your technique. (If you have a problem with this, PM me.) Also, my character calls hover cars "drifters".

Name: Velouria Eiffel
Nickname: Firefly
Age: 21
Appearance: The red-haired Velouria Eiffel - A.K.A. Firefly.
When Firefly is not racing, she normally wears a black turtle-neck sweater over a dark brown shirt, red military camo pants, and black military style boots. But when she races, she trades in her normal outfit for something a bit less loose. She wears a form fitting, black leather jumpsuit, (with a dark blue vest over it sometimes,) black shoes, and black fingerless racing gloves. The most protection that Firefly ever wears on her head, are just a pair of yellow sunglasses her dad gave her.
Car Name: Strobe
Car Description: Although not as sleek as most of the drifters out there, (which explains its lack of speed,) the Strobe has excellent handling.

The base of the body has been painted the same color red as Firefly?s hair, with a little black on the sides and the back. On her custom hood, (that magnetically locks shut when she?s in a race,) she had a paint design put on it that resembles fireflies. The back and both sides of her drifter are curved, in order to give it more of a wedge shape. The front of her drifter isn?t as nearly armored in the front as it is in the back, which keeps her from ever trying to ram another drifter unless it?s for a last resort. The sides are the second most armored, besides the bottom of her drifter.

The reason Firefly armored the bottom of her vehicle, was to protect all of the modifications she made to it when she lands. Oh yeah, that?s another thing. She can bounce.

Firefly installed a special system on her drifter, that cuts off the grav-flow to her engines for a split second, and then powers them back up with an extra shot of strength. This ?push? sends Strobe flying into the air for a short distance. The only drawbacks to this system, are that it doesn?t work as well on flat, paved terrain. Also, if there?s strong winds or bad weather it will slow down her drifter a little bit while it?s in mid-air.

But Firefly?s last resort, is what she named her drifter after. She had white, blue, and yellow lights installed all over on the exterior of her vehicle. With a flip of a switch, her drifter?s engine shuts off, (which can be very dangerous,) and the lights will turn on, and start a flashing pattern to blind the other drivers. However, every time she?s used this system, it?s caused a crash that she wasn?t able to avoid.
Speed: 353 Mph
Defence: 200 (AD)
Driver Skill: With the practice that she?s had dodging small obstacles, and because her bounce technique only works on uneven ground, Firefly races her best on rough terrain. And even though her drifter isn?t known for it?s speed, she can make up for its limits with her ability to handle turns well. Unless the weather isn?t clear. Then her turning suffers a bit.
Gang Name: Lightning Panthers
Personality: Although she almost seems like she would have a loner attitude, Firefly actually gets along well in a team, which makes her a good member in the Lightning Panthers. Howver, that doesn?t mean she makes the mistakes of getting too dependent or too trusting of her fellow gang members. She always keeps a weapon in her drifter, just in case.

She knows that there?s know place for idle talk, but Firefly isn't the quiet type. She has a very good poker face, and is also very good at bluffing. Most of the time, she can get someone who isn?t to sure of himself, to back down from a race. This has caused a bit of a mystique around her to some of the rival gang members. But she doesn?t let this go to her head, because she knows that a cocky mind can?t think straight.

Besides racing, there?s not much she gets enjoyment out of, except for being with their leader. She really looks up to him, and trusts his judgement in almost everything.
Bio/ Extra Notes: Velouria was born to Alice and Alec Eiffel. Her parents were in one of the only few original live bands in the year 3000. Tapestry. They named their daughter after one of the many ancient songs that they covered on their tours. (They always thought the best music was in the 20th century.)

Then, one day, Velouria fell asleep backstage while she was waiting for her parents to finish one of their concerts. Stoned, they forgot about their daughter and started to walk across the street to their tour van. But before they reached the other side, they were both turned to paste by a drag racer.

With her parents gone, and having no other immediate family, Velouria was raised by another one of Tapestry?s members. Taking after both her mother and father, she was quite good at both the synthboard and at the guitar. On the 2nd anniversary of her parents? death, she was thinking of joining the band Tapestry officially, but her mind was changed after hearing her mother?s favorite song. She decided to get revenge, and practiced racing a hover car.

But she never would?ve got anywhere, if she hadn?t found a veteran drag racer who went by Schism. He was willing to help her in exchange for running errands for him. He had her drive blindfolded on unpaved roads so that she could gain skill quickly. He was like the grandfather that she never had. He was also the man who gave her the nickname, Firefly. He called her that because of her red hair and fiery, impatient attitude. After Schism thought she had been trained enough, Firefly joined the Lightning Panthers and started racing. Although her original motive for learning how to drag race was to avenge her parents, she soon decided that there was nothing she could do for them anyways, and now just lives for the thrill of the race like Outlaw does.

I'm going to get this up within half an hour, I'm closing sign ups now and I'd like to say well done to most of you.

Unfortunately, Sword Breaker, your sign up was seriously lacking in the right details and you could have at least made sure that you spelt 'Thailand' correctly. You are not accepted.

Everyone else, congratulations, look out for this in the Square.
