AzureWolf
As of late (at least over a week), OB has not only been slow (compared to how it was before), but I'll get the error page every now and then, and it seems pretty random. I'll just be surfing a thread, or posting something, and it says that the page can't be found/displayed. I'm wondering what's going on. "Growing pains" maybe? While the slowed OB isn't a big deal (since before it was just click and appear as if I was surfing my own folders),the error page is going to cause problems sooner or later, as it tends to happen while I'm posting (like it did when I was trying to make this thread).
Dagger
Every once in a while I get the "connection refused" message, and it's been happening more often now with OB (at least for the past few weeks). At first I thought this was just some random Firefox problem, but if other people are experiencing it, then I guess it might be a larger issue. ~Dagger~
Vicky
This is also happening to me a lot, it comes up "page cannot be displayed", randomly, most likely. It happens mostly when I'm on "Who's Online" and stuff (also when I search for new posts), but it does get annoying and I have to keep copying my posts in fear of losing them. I too thought it was an error with my internet or whatever, but if there are others then like Dagger said it could be a larger issue. Also this never happens on the other websites I'm on.

AzureWolf
And just so no one is confused, IE handles the lack of a connection with that error page, while Firefox just says it can't connect and just displays a blank after you click ok. Both mean the same error, though.
Doc
Within the last two weeks, I have been having the same problem, but it has started happening more and more as of recently... I guess it could be because I have 2 other pages open, but it seems highly unlikely. I us IE, and it does the "page can't be displayed" message about every two links I click.:(
ArunueShekamari
I had the same problem, but it wasn't frequent at all. I'm not getting it any more either. Thus, I'd have no idea what the problem maybe. Maybe AOL is better at loading it and connecting? (I highly doubt it, screw aol)
James
Adam and I have both been having this problem recently. I assume it's related to the increased pressure that has been put on our server lately, as a result of our bandwidth explosion. But Adam and Justin can probably answer this question better than I can.
Baron Samedi
On the positive side, with Firefox, it doesn't navigate away from the page. More incentive, hey Azure ;)
jblessing
It is a problem we know about and are looking into fixing it. We're not sure if it is related to bandwidth or what, but increased server loads are generally causing the issue. Also, the 'Page not Found' errors and so-forth are when the server is not online, and is usually a result of us restarting it to fix the server load or otherwise related to the server load. Baron Samedi
This may or may not be related, but often I recieve a 'Connection Timed Out' notice when travelling around OB/mO. Is this server lag as well?
Retribution
Firefox. Meh. But on a more serious note, I've had the same problem, although infrequent. I just hit refresh, or just close the window, open a new one, and go to OB. And talk about a new stress on the server due to bandwidth... a few days ago, there was 72 guests viewing the OB Anthology. I meant to get a screen-cap, but I didn't seem to work when I hit Print Screen. Ahh well.

It nearly always works, although there are times when I have to open a new window altogether. Now that I'm on the lookout for this, I can definitely confirm that for me it only happens with OB. @Baron: Wait, what do you mean? The phrase sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it. At what point does the notice pop up? ~Dagger~

Usually, when we have a high number of guests it is because of spiders. Nothing much to worry about.
Baron Samedi
I use Firefox, Dagger, and sometimes when I click a link it won't do anything, and a small alert box will come up saying "The connection timed out when attempting to reach otakuboards.com" or whatever.
jblessing
I spent about three hours yesterday trying to diagnose the server problem, but not much luck to be honest. I did change a certain process in the PHP scripts that I am hoping will make a difference. Of course, we'll see how well it goes. Overall, the site seems to be faster today and their has been last strain as well. The real test will be in about 5 hours :D .
