I really only have four nicknames.

My old nickname from my swimteam days was noodle. I recieved this title when I kept on running into the lanes of the swimming pool while I was swimming in a backstroke race. The couch said I looked like a noodle when I was swimming, so the whole swimteam dubbed me noodle.

My other nicknames are Kak or sometimes Kit Kak or Kakky. Since these are my initails my friends thought it would be a great idea to make it a name. :flaming:

Lol, it's really interesting finding out everyone's first name.

My first and most commonly used nickname would be Chookie because my first name is Brooke (like as in the sound that a chicken makes). That ones been with me since year 5 (10 yrs old) and has stuck with me all the way through high-school (until 17) and we'll see if I still get called it at Uni.

The second is Brookie. I got called that by one of my friend's dad who was a teacher at my high-school and he still calls me that!

The third is Ren. My friends call me that because my middle name is Renee.

The last is Princess. My adorable boyfriend calls me that because he spoils me like one. Lol....I'm so sad......

Here are a few nicknames that I have recieved over my lifetime:

Matty - my aunt Robin first started to call me this. I was about 4 or 5 yrs old at the time and it stuck. Just recently my friend Courtney and my girlfriend Samantha have revived that nickname and they call me that all the time. Courtney and Samantha are the ONLY ones that are allowed to call me Matty at this point.

Lethew - my dad made this name up. I guess it was one of his unusual moods and he made it up.

Ratrew - Scoody Doo + my first name (Matthew) = < the nickname. 'Nuf said.

Duff - I got this one at school. Just take off the 'ey' on my last name.

Duffmeister - another one I got from school. And another parody of my last name.

Duff Master-D/Duff Master McD - my friend Brad Seacrest gave me this name. He says it makes me sound like a rapper or DJ.

DuffMan - Another school name. I have no idea how this came about.

*Sigh* I've got too many nick-names to name... I'll give the one with the longest story behind it first.

Alright, my little brother and my boyfriend were making fun of my hair one day 'cause I tried to dye it bright RED and it came out bright PINK and I have a sworn hatrid toward pink, so... Yeah... They thought it was hiarious.

Anyway, for some reason they started calling me 'Strawberry Shortcake' as in the little cartoon girl. Then whenever I'd dye my hair, they'd sing the 'Strawberry Shortcake' song and then for some reason, after singing it multiple times, 'Shortcake' started being pronounced wrong when they'd sing it fast and it morphed to 'Bortbake' and then to 'PorkFace' somehow, so now I'm Pork Face.

My boyfriend's nickname is Fluffy, though. (He has this shirt... Long story...) And my brothers is 'Darth' (Because his name was gonna be something that sounded like 'Darth Vador' but then he didn't get named it. I won't say it here because I promised.) 'YoHan' and 'YoHanisburg' 'cause we called him 'Johnathon' even though that isn't his name, and it slowly morphed...

Heh...

Mmmmmm nickenames eh? I have a whole slew of them. ^-^

My name is marina alcantar so here we go...

nana-comes from my mother. A lot of spanish people call their children moma sometimes or papi. So moma became nana.

Nina- a combination of nana and marina i decided on as my primary nickname. I go by this all the time.

ninavegeta- my screen name and what my friends used to call me when i was totally in love with him. Go figure now my boyfriend is an asshole. ^-^

Alcantar- my pal mike used to call me this just because. No real reason i suppose, just because he liked the way it sounded.

Manina-my little bro can't pronounce my name so this is what he says.

Demon- my friend steve calls me this. I guess because i bite a lot.

And finally Vegeta Rocker.....as i have mentioned before, it comes from a music forum. I used to be on the Gauntlet music boards. Everyone there had a music sounding name. I was kind of stumped, so i picked my fav thing at the time (vegeta) and added to my fav time of music. (rock)

One very logical nickname I had that turned into a very stupid Nickname was and is Donnelly. This was given to me by my ex boyfriend

It was logical before because that's my maiden name, but he still calls me Donnelly when he sees me now. Go figure.

I was called Nutmeg by a guy in my high school chemistry class. I guess that makes sense I mean, my first name is Megan. Add on to that the fact that the guy's nickname was Crunch after her crunched up his car when he ran into a telephone pole. And yeah, perfect sense.

Ok, that's it for now.

Well, with my name being Erica I haven't really had any nicknames until just recently. I don't know why, it just happened. X3

Ooka/Eeka - Haha, alright. This was obviously from the days when my and my little sister (only about a year younger than me) were toddlers, and then she couldn't pronounce my name too well, so she pronounced it like this. Later it was used as a sign of either recognition or affection. :3 Not even used anymore. Sounds like a caveman grunt.

Beeg - My dad called me and Sis this name when we were little, and us to him--it's a silly variation of "pig", which we, as little kids, pronounced it as "peeg" then it evolved to "beeg" which is easier to say. We've been using it as an affectionate greeting ever since, wherever we're at.. ^_^ We just usually shout the name out. :p We're pretty silly.

Erikeet - This one is my favorite, because I'm fond of, well, stuff that is cute, and sounds cute lol. It's the nickname my grampa has called me all my life lol. A variation of parakeet. It was only known among us until the other month, when it spread to my friends IRL after doing a random survey as a DA journal entry lol.

And my last name, Pridgen, has sprouted the unoriginal and stupid name Pigeon. Thanks to that, plus Erikeet, I remind one of my close friends of a bird. ~_~;

A few others are signs of affection, like Erikitten, Ericat, Erika-chan (I never knew that was also Japanese name, pronounced Ereeka, until my brother told me; he's studying the language). These are just random affectionate nicknames my best friend calls me (and yes, he's a guy). XD

Firstly all my freinds and peers call me Mike. That's my name, anyway. But I do have some nicknames:

Monty mike: My friend Ricky called me this, because of my love of Monty Python. I know alot of the bits by heart.

Mikey: I hate that nick name. Just Mike, if you please. Thank you.

Anime Mike: Our RA has nick names for alot of us. Because of my love of anime he calles me this.

Samurai Gary: A girl at my school calls me this. I know martail arts, and I have a sword as well. This led to that nick name. Some people think it's cute. I think it's okay, but only Susie can call me that.

Big M: I got this from a teacher. Hmmm...Big M, eh?
"BIG M! SHOWTIME!" Eat your heart out, Roger Smith!

The Escaflowne Guy: I used to go to a comic book store in the Danvers Mall where there was this girl working there. She was very pretty, too. ;) I remember getting in to a discusiton with her about Escaflowne. I came back a month later, and said "Hey, remember me?" "Sure." She says. "Your the Esacflowne guy." "Well, my real name is Mike. What's your name." "Heather." "Well, nice to meet you Heather." That was that.

Those are my nick names. That is all I got to say about that.

Some of these aren't very short, and a few are pretty odd, but here are some nicknames of other people I know:

John-My borther, we called him John-John up to when he turned 18. The reasoning behind that was my dad's name is also John. But my brother's not a 3rd because he's John William and my dad is John Eugene. We also call my brother boy. No real reason except that well he's a boy.

Lincoln-My other half. I really really want to call him Linc because it's shorter than Lincoln and he calls me Cheebs. But he really hates being called Linc. So I'm nice enough not to do it.

Crisler is another nickname, but rather self explanitory. He's in the army, that's his last name, hence being called Crisler.

Iceman is the last one. I have no idea why or how he got the nickname. It's not like he's emmotionless or something. He got it from a friend in highschool (the same idiot who calls me Donnelly) at first. Then he somehow got the name again from the guys on his team. Eh, Army go fig.

Becky-My best friend. we calll her BEcky because it's short for Rebecca (duh) And we also call her Kapicachu because her last name is Kapica and it just stuck.

Alicia-Becky's daughter, her nickname is Little leech because her aunt's (becky's boyfriend's sister) name is also Alicia and her dad (becky's boyfriend) calls the other one Big Leech. I have no clue why.

Abigail-My daughter. Everyone calls her Abby except for Lincoln's cousin who calls her AbbyCadabra, That came f\from the sign that's over Abby's crib that Lincoln made while he was up here. Because Abby Womback from the US soccer team is from Rochester and there was all this stuff going on about her when our abby was born.

I'll explain meore later I have to give my momback teh computer.

Well, let's see. I have a few.

Lizzy-Monster- My friend Alexa, who I've known since I was two, calls me this on occasion. My fist name is Liz, but I don't know where she got the Monster.

Monkey/Monkey-butt- Uh... Long story. My dad insists he bought me from an L.L. Bean catalogue for half price because I had a monkey tail. And of course, he told Alexa's mom, so now she calls me Monkey and my dad calls me Monkey or Monkey-butt.

Fern Girl/Fernie- One day I had to comment to my U.S. History Teacher that his ferns looked a little dry, as my dad grows a lot of plants and flowers and such, so I knew. And now every once in a while I have to water his ferns and he calls me Fern Girl. Two years before this, I had the same teacher in Study Hall, and back then he called me Computer Girl, because I'd always have to fix his computer for him.

Hotdog- Oh, gods. I hate this one. My Public Speaking/Drama teacher doesn't know my first name, but my last name is Armour, like the hotdog company, so he calls me that.

WHY can't I have a nice, cute nickname that everyone could call me?! Okay, I'd even preffer "Monster" from some of those. O.O But, you know what, I'd really like everyone to call my by my MSN Messenger name, which is Red Rabbit. No idea why. But it's in Japanese characters, so it looks like this --> 赤 ウサギ (Don't know if that shows up), so no one but my cousin who can also read it knows what it says. ^_^;;

I've got a couple nicknames, some that I despise, others that I like.

Trev: I know a few people that call me it. It's just a shortening of my first name, and I've been called it for ages.

Treeber-Beeber: Something from early childhood. Someone said something similar in 6th grade, causing me to repeat it...and damning myself until I removed their teeth. Not literally, but I tried. Call me it and die.

James: My middle name. I've gone by it in the past.

Damien: My nickname as a kid, affectionately given to me by my parents. No, really, it was affectionate. I love it. Son of Satan, if you didn't know.

Hippy: I have extremely long, thick hair, so a freind has taken to calling me a hippy.

Goth-Boy: I'm not a Goth, but another friend uses it in a taunting fashion due to my LJ lay-out. I keep trying to just ignore him.

Squinty: My eyes are unusually narrow, especially considering I am of Germanic descent, so the guy who calls me Goth-Boy also calls me Squinty. He's even yelled it across a courtyard at me. Took him two yells.

ULX: I came up with it, but my friends have even taken to calling me it now. It's awesome.

Oni Meijin: Me and my friend attempted to start the Washington-Yakuza. Long story. I took the name Oni Meijin, as an attempt to strike fear into the hearts of my enemies. It didn't strike me at first that very few people I know speak Japanese. Bit of a mistake, that.

Diablo: Another nickname I gave myself that carried for about a year. I dubbed me and my circle of friends the Diablo Union. They were my minions. A fact that I still need to impress upon them.

Bob: Well, technically it's not my nickname, per se, but I guy I know has taken to calling every guy Bob. And every girl Steve. I have no hope for him.

Grube: I am occasionally referred to by my last name. It's annoying, more than any thing.

Troutie: The origins of this nickname are long and contrived, so I won't bore you with the details. It's just a nickname that I was given, and possibly is still carried by, my crush at the time. I wasn't about to tell her not to call me it.

Mr. Pink-Cheeks: My friend will stop at nothing to irritate me. This has led her to devise a series of annoying nick-names, the cardinal of all Mr. Pink-Cheeks. Several times, she has been told by her best friend not to call me it. She still does, of course. Just not as frequently.

I think that's about it. I've had a lot of nicknames. I have a lot of nicknames, actually. Cool.

Ah. Well, I forgot two.

Goth Chick/Goth Girl- Well, aparently since my cothes are black, I'm a goth. Several people call me this ... Nevermind that I wear blue jeans. No. I wear black gloves and black shirts, and my nails are sometimes black, so I must be goth.

Mama Duck- My best friend, Emily calls me this. Simply because our other friend, Kelsie, pointed out that Emily followes me everywere like a baby duck. So she's Baby Duckie and I'm Mama Duck. Only very rarely used out loud, but secretly we call eachother that a lot. I've also been dubbed Mousse and Pixie by her. Those aren't used at all anymore, but I like Mousse.

Geez, you guys have such cool nicknames. ;-; I feel pathetic compared.

DIng Bat: It's a long story. It started with my mom, she's Dingbat 1, then her sister, brother, then me and my brother. I'm Dingbat 4. XD Its crazy.

Keppi: It's from a game me an some friends play. We each have different names for our 'other halves', my other half being Keppi. Taylor is Rose, Brittany is Alexia, Alia is Ray, ect.

Guppy: Taylor called me that because my other half name sounds like it. -.- It stuck.

Steffie: I hate this name. It's short for Steffanie(Stephanie is proper spelling), but its adorable nickname; adorable I am not.

Celtic Feline, Not Quite Human, March Hare: All nicknames I have used in my Elfwood title. Each should have its own explination.

Whoa. I do have okay nicknames?.

Uh...well...around school is where I've gotten most of my nicknames.

Spawn of Satan - I got it from this creepy pot-smoking kid in my Biology class(...yeah Chibi, the one with the hippie teacher and the Grateful Dead stuff.) because I was "mean" because I told him to go away and quit trying to copy my homework.

Rika - I actually prefer this one to most of the other ones. My friends think it's the Japanese version of my real name.

Rhi - Well, it started out in sixth grade when my student teacher couldn't say my full name (Rhiannon). So he just started calling me Rhi, it eventually caught on with the whole class.

Jung-Woo - my user name on here. I went through a quiet period last year where I didn't say much. My friend and I were both reading Kill Me/Kiss Me at the same time and one day she just called me that.

Shigure - That's my puppy dog name that was given to me by Liz...and...that's a long story.

I have about 3 nicknames in my life and all of them I really liked.

My mom when I was little called me Blakeypoo or Blakey. With my name being Blake their isnt much you can come up with that so I thought that was pretty neat.

The second I got when I was about 13. I was called BWhip or BD. My full name is Blake Daniel Whipple, so BD are my first 2 initals, and BWhip is my first initial and have my name.

My final nickname is Cotton. For those of you who have seen "Dodgeball," the really messed up dude that sits with Cotton always says his name after everything. Since I am really wierd, they decided to name me that for some reason. Even some of my teachers call me cotton.

So yeah, you guys can call me any of those if you want. Just dont wear them out ~_^
