Lyu could hear the music in the hall as Dale came up.
"What are you doing out here?"
"I dunno...I feel outta place is all."
She blushed as she looked at her self in the window. The black Japanses style dress was form fitting and had splits up the side to her theigh, her heels were black and went to her claf. The red dragon on the front of her dress made it look elegant and formal. She had her hair down and brushed to a glosst shine as she often did but she had out an extra touch to it, she had put temporary burgandy highlights through out her hair to match her dress. Her nails were painted black and her make up was black and red.
"Well your not decked out to be a decoration, get in there."
She sqeaked in protest as Dale shovered her throught the doorway and into the hanger. She blushed bright red as heads turned and looked, many of the lower ranking soldiers were making cat calls and gapin openly at her which furthered her embaressment.
"Dale, I'm going to kill you."
"No you won't"
"And why not?"
"You'll be having to much fun."
She raised her fist to smak him but blinked as he dissappered in the crowd of teenagers. She smiled as a new sond began to play and she found her self singing to it without thinking.
"Strawberry wine, 17. The hot July moon saw everythnig, my first taste of love. Oh bitter sweet. Like strwberry wine..." She looked up at the Dj station and blushed as she saw Ajack scanning the crowd. A young teen came up infront of her and bowed.
"My I have this dance?"
"I'm sorry, but no. It's saved for someone else...excuse me."
She walked up to the station without him noticeing and tugged on his pants making him look down, his eyes widened a great deal as he saw her.
"I made it!"
She laughed as he nodded. She blushed.
"I feel like a fool! I probably look like one too, I'm not used to dresses!"
She looked down and out onto the floor to see Sora and Sayne dancing.

''You look wonderful...'' Ajack whispered into Lyu's ear as he came up behind her...giving her a hug. Lyu wrapped her arms around his...feeling his warmth against her.

She looked so lovely...with her Japanese dress and make-up...with her black hair all done nicely, she looked...exotic. No words could describe how happy he was. He just hoped she felt the same way.

''Did you get a chance to hear me sing?''

''Yes I did...thank you.'' turning around she gave him a kiss.

''Shall we dance then my sweet...'' as Ajack took her hand and bowed...kissing her on top of her hand in a gentlemen like gesture.

''Of course my brave knight.'' she was smiling brightly as she pulled him into the crowd to dance.

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Sora blushed the same colour as her hair and kissed him softly on the lips. Sayne's eyes went as wide as dinner plates but Sora knew he enjoyed it. She withdrew, her face still the colour of her hair. Sayne gave her a small smile. Sora smiled back bashfully.

" What would you like to do Sayne?" Sora asked, smiling.
" Don't know....whatever you like..." he replied.
" Can we go and sit down. I'm sure Liz is feeling pretty lonely."
Sayne nodded.

They made their way to the table Liz was sitting at.
' Hey Liz!" Sora said happily as Sayne helped her into a seat.
" Sora! Wow, you look good!" Liz commented.
" Thanks! You look great too!"
" So, what are you two doing here? Shouldn't you be up dancing?" Liz asked.
" We thought you might be a bit lonely over here by yourself," Sora said as Sayne sat down beside her.
" No, I'm ok. The nurses said no dancing for me."
" Oh... fair enough."

Sora looked around and saw Lyu and Ajack together, dancing happily. She felt like wolf-whistling at them but thought better of it.

A girl suddenly came up to Sayne.
" Can...can I have a dance with you?" she asked timidly. Sayne looked at Sora.
" Good on. I don't mind."
Sayne stood up and went with the girl to the dancefloor.

Darrius huged sakura as the music drew to a close and steppd off the floor looking for something to cool down with at the bar.
darrius was nusing a glass of punch when he spotted liz and sora in the corner. grinning he grabbed a few glasses and meaneded to the chatting pair.
darrius let out a low whistle as he a aproached
"hello hello!" he laughed "nice work girls, diddn't i always tell you youd look half decent if you scrubbed up a bit sora"
bringing him a punch from a sora and a chuckle from liz
"see that we're going to have to improve your social skills sora" replied darrius handing the galsses around.
the trio chatted away untill "are you gona be my girl" by jet started playing
"oh we've gotta dance to this" laughed darrius, "mind if a steal her for a bit liz"
darrius and sora milled into the centre of the dance floor and booggied. sora laughed at darrius's loony dace moves but his enthusiasm was contagious.
darrius held her hands and they jived away as he swung sora around in a high energy dance.
when the music stopped he was lead back to where liz sat by a laughing sora.
"i thought your arm was broken darrius!" chuckled liz
"nah im just faking it" laughed darrius pulling up his black tuxedo sleeve revealing the cast down his fore arm.
"plus they gave me a couple of miligrams of this painkiller, so im pretty damn happy right now"

A girl in a tight black dress walked up to the trio and singled out darrius
"hi darrius, wanna dace with me?"
"sure thing steph" replied darrius scooping her by the waist and leading her towards the dance floor. he grinned back over his shoulder at sora and winked mischiviously

Sometime before the ball started

Vick wanted to to be the flashest dresser at the ball later in the day. So Vick made sure he took the time to pick a tux that showed his personality. The tux that Vick decided to with was a light blue color on the long sleeve tux and the pants were light blue as well. To finsh things off Vick put on a pair of sun glasses and a hat with with a very colorfull feather.

The ball

Vick was not really a one who like to dance but he did love to run that mouth of his. He found some pepole to talk to and started talking about his greatness.

" It was the fourth quarter and the team was down by three points with only one ffteen to go. I was doubled team by the cornerback and the free safety, luckly it was a slant route.The QB put the ball up I caught it broke free and thouchdown I won the game." Vick said with the worlds cheapest grin.

Vick was happy yo get all the satisfaction from the other teens and the two girls who were in the area.

" Do you ever get scared Vick when fighting ? " asked a greened eyed girl with dark hair.

" When your as great as me fear is never a a question." laughed Vick . Vick looked around the ball to see what ever one else was up to. Vick noticed Darrius had stoped dancing with Sora and Vick saw that he would try to dance with Sora. Vick walked up to her and asked.

" Well look it's Sora I don't see you dancing with any one and it's a slow dance, how about it? " Vick asked as nicely as he ever could say.

Sora smiled.
" Ok Vick. Lets go!"

Vick took her by the hand and swung her around into a sophisticated dance move. Sora laughed and Darrius clapped.
" Show off," Sora said to him. Vick just grinned. Together they walked into the centre of the dancefloor. Vick put his hand on Sora's waist and Sora puts hers on his shoulder. It was indeed a slow dance. They swayed in unison for most of the song, Vick trying out some fancy moves with her during the dance. Most of them turned out, others just looked funny.

Sora laughed as Vick pulled her back up from a low swing.
" You're good at this Vick."
" Heh. I bet I'm better than Sayne."
" No comment."

Soon the dance was over. Vick and Sora parted. Vick bowed and Sora curtsied respectfully. They walked back over to the table with Darrius and Liz. They clapped when the pair returned.
" Oh shhhh!" Sora hushed them, turning red. Darrius and Liz laughed. Sora sat next to Liz and Vick next to Darrius.
" You look very suave Vick. I forgot to tell you that before," Sora said, smiling at him.
" Why thank you! I know I always looked good!" Vick said as he pretended to smooth back his hair. Darrius, Liz and Sora laughed.

"If you'll excuse me, I have some things I wanted to do..." Liz said as she got up slowly from the table.

"Do you need someone to walk with you?" Sora asked.

"No... I can handle it..." she said with a smile as she walked out of the room. She pulled the fancy barretts out of her hair and let it fall down to her wairst. She smiled. "Time to see Tiegre..." she said as she went toward the hangar.

When she reached the hangar, she smiled when she saw Tiegre laying with her head on her paws. It always amazed her how real and alive Tiegre appeared to be.

Tiegre saw Liz coming down the stairs.

"Don't you look pretty." she said.

"Thank you, daddy bought me this... I think he's okay with all of this now..." she said with a smile.

Tiegre was silent. "I'm sorry Liz... I failed you out there..."

"No, don't say that..." she said as she placed her hand on Tiegre's paw.

"My back up systems weren't working... I don't know why... you could have been killed...." she said looking at her. Her green eyes were gorgeous.

"Tiegre... we are a team. If you think you failed me, then I failed you just as well. We work together... never one protecting another. We are one mind out there... not two... and we need to boost our performance."

"I know... I just wish I could have done more."

"You did everything you could have, just as I did everything I could have as well..." Liz said. She stared at her friend and a smile went across her face. She climbed up Tiegre and sat on her back, while petting her friends head...

"You're one big kitty, Tiegre." she said jokingly.

"Oh great, now I'm a house pet."

"Hardly" Liz said as she laughed. There was nowhere else she wanted to be.

Sayne danced slowly with the girl, her hair was red and tied up and she had bangs that hung down over her eyes, her skin was a soft white and the dress she wore was long and blue which made her eyes sapphire eyes stand out. The dress hugged her body perfectly

'Your a good dancer,' she smiled softly as her face went red,

Sayne didn't reply

'Why'd you throw away your valentines presents?' she questioned

Sayne raised a brow, 'They took up too much room in my bag,'

'Oh....' she whispered, 'I....made you this.....but....I hadn't given it to you.....I was in your classes...I was going to give it to you...but..after seeing you throw away the others.....,'

They stopped dancing as she handed Sayne a valentines card with a deep blue rose, her face was red and she looked away. Sayne took one look at the card and tore it up infront of her. The girl looked as though she was going to die...but she noticed that he had held on to the rose, he then walked passed her

'I like the rose better,' he whispered as he carried on walking

The girl smiled with tears in her eyes.

Sayne walked outside on to a belcony part which over looked the sea, he then lent against the railing. The moonlight casted down over him. He then kissed the rose and dropped it into the water. All he could think about at that moment was Soras kiss and he smiled

lyu Watched silently as things happened all around her, happy to be with Ajack. She saw Sayne rip the card and walk away from a girl the rose in his hand. She stoped and looked up at Ajack.
"I'll be right back. Love you."
She kissed him quickly and rushed off, embaressed that she had said that aloud. She found Sayne on the balcony outside and leaned on it as well as he droped the rose into the water.
"Ya know, I think she really liked you."
"Whatever Lyu."
"Two words, I'm gettign better...Look I know I have no business in your personal life, I'm not going there either. I just wanna talk to my leader."
Sayne looked up at her wide eyed.
"Leader?!"
"Just because your somewhat cold hearted and you don't talk much, that doesn't mean people don't look up to you. Or love you."
"I thought your weren't going there."
Lyu smiled and shook her head.
"I'm not. I'm just saying Sayne, people see your actions and forget your words. They see what you do for the team and how you react to things."
"Oh, I've done great there!"
She smirked and nodded .
"You have. Sayne, just because we don't say it it doesn't mean we're not thinking it. Look I know I said I wasn't going here but. I saw what happen with you and Sora. Some advise, ask her to dance and kissher back. You like her, she likes you. Just follow you heart with things."
"Lyu..."
"Right, look I have a date of my own. But I think you should go back and do what I said, it gain you some brownie points thats for sure. Godd night Sayne."
She squeezed his shoulder gently and walked back to Ajakc.
"Hey, I know your the Dj and everything but, what do you say we go to the back point and hang out on the balcony there. Sayne has that one occupied."
Ajack smiled and nodded, she grabbed his hand and led him out and smiled as he ran beside her through the halls and out the other door to the back balcony.
"Wow, this is beautiful."
They could still hear the music from the balcony not to far awy, actually above them. She turned and looked at Ajack as the wind blew her hair back from her face and leaned back on the stone railing,
"I never thanked you for helping me Ajack, I owe you alot. My life."
He opened his mouth to protest but she coverd his lips with her's and kissed him deeply.
"No, I thank you. So much."
She hugged him tightly and pulled him to the railing and took a coin from her glove that was tucked in her shoe. Handing it to Ajakc shetook out another and threw it into the water.
"Do same...now make a wish."
She close dher eyes and made her wish.
[B]I wish for Sora and Sayne to be happy, and all of us to safe as we fight this battle...hopefully to win it.[/B]
She looked at Ajack and smiled.
"What did you wish for Lyu?"
"Can't tell, it's a secret..."
She took off her heels and grabbed Ajack and began to dance as the music filtered down form the hanger above them.
"I-I love you Ajack..."
She blushed brightly, he was silent so she was afriad that she had said something wrong.

[B]I wish...I wish...I wish my parents...where ever they are; that they are safe...and as happy as I am at this moment. That they will watch over not just me, but us all as we fight this war together. [/B]

Ajack looked deep into Lyu's eyes...and saw the love that was behind her eyes as she looked at him. He could sense she wanted to turn away cause she was so embarrased about being blunt about her feelings. But she couldn't...she felt so happy...and safe in his eyes; in his arms.

The two of them continued to dance under the moonlight shining down upon them as the music continued to play.

''So what did you talk to Sayne about earlier?''

''UH...is someone jealous.'' Lyu had a jokingly tone to her voice.

''Of course not...I have no reason to be jealous.'' giving her a wink...''just curious...''

So she told him everything...as always.

[I]She keeps thinking that she talks too much...but she doesn't realize that I hang on every word she speaks...[/I]

''So yea...I hope he got the idea Ajack...he and Sora can be so great...ya know.''

''I agree...I keep thinking to myself that maybe he has found that peace that his hearts been lacking all these years of his life.''

''Your right...I just hope that everything works out.''

For a long stretch of time...they were silent...they had been talking all night, but now it seemed; they were merely taking in the moment. Words couldn't describe how the two of them were feeling.

[I]He didn't say he loved me back...was I wrong in saying that?[/I]

[I]She said she loves me...but is this just a fling...or is this the real thing?[/I]

[I]I love you so much Ajack...I hope you see that...please don't doubt me.[/I]

You could feel the tension between the two of them...they were so close to truly breaking through. Both of them were so in love with each other...they just didn't know how to truly express it. Sure they had kissed...held hands...but was that love...or a petty crush at its height.

''Can I ask you a question Lyu?''

''Of course...anything...'' Lyu was scared...continuing to dance...she barried her face into his chest...afraid that what he was about to ask would be catastrophic...

''Why did you chose me?''

Lyu was surprised...after all that silence...she definitly didn't expact that. She lifted her head back up and locked her eyes onto his.

[I]Should I be honest...should I really tell him...but what if he doesn't love me like that back...I'll play with it for now...[/I]

''I could ask you the same question?''

*laughing* ''hehe...thats true...you could. I think that I should answer you.''

Lyu held her breathe...expecting the worst.

''Remember when we talked all day long out on the balcony of the base. *she nodded*...that day, was the first time in a long time that I felt true peace. It was only then that I truly realized how much you cared for me. The countless hours you spent with me in the ER. And after that...you seemed to connect with me faster than anyone else I've ever known.''

''To be honest Ajack...I've actually had a crush on you for a long time now.'' now she was really red...everything was coming out now.

All Ajack could do was smile...''I love you Lyu.''

Lyu's eyes burst wide open...

''I love you for your kind and gentle spirt; I love you for your eyes, your hair, your smile....I love talking to you all the time, I love you because you make me feel alive......I love you Lyu...not only for who you are...but who I am when I am with you. And that...I never want to let go off.''

Surprisingly Lyu stepped away from Ajack as they were dancing and looked out onto the sea with her back towards him. She didn't want to show him her tears...this feeling was overwhelming...

''I want this to truly last Lyu...not some fling that comes and goes...I want this for my life. I don't know what is going to happen after this war...but if we survive this...I want you. I love you more than you know...every word of that song I sang...I ment.''

She still didn't turn around to him...Ajack could hear her crying though. He started to leave the balcony...feeling that maybe she wanted time to think, maybe she wasn't ready to hear those words from him. Yes...saying those words to him was hard enough, but to hear those words from him...maybe she couldn't handle it.

''AJACK!'

Just as Ajack turned around...Lyu had already jumped into his arms...wrapping her legs around his mid-section.

''I can't loss you Ajack...I love you...I've always loved you.''

Lyu felt as if her heart would burst, she was so happy tht he felt the same way she did.
"Ajack, the reason I picked you was because I knew you neede me. I saw it every day, you struggled with your past and what you had done and what you hadn't doen. I love you and nothing will ever change that."
She looked up at him and kissed him. She laughed and giggled than she got back on her feet and grabed his hand and ran to the edge of the balcony. Looking out she looked up as a shooting star went by, looking at Ajakc she pointed upward and smiled.
"Means good luck, do you think I'll ever be able to fight like you and the others do? So hard and with such purpose?"
She looked at him and giggled.
"Nevermind. Ajack, what was your home like? I mean were your parents nice or you know...I don't really recall my real parents...I only knew the couple that raised me. They were nice, they never really scorned me...I suppose that's the reason I turned out so soft hearted...But I think I can still do some good. I hve really bad nightmares every night. They never go away...and they never get any better. Always worse...the last one was of you and everyone else dieing and leaving me alone to fight by my-self..."
She turned and buried her face in his chest.
"You'll never just up and leave without saying goodbye right Ajack? Right?"
She looked up at him smileing and kissed him deeply. Pulling him closer to her as she kissed him.
[B]This is so sudden, I feel like we just met yesterday...but it feels so right...I love him and I know it isn't just some fling...I know I love him for real...otherwise...I wouldn't trust him as much as I do. I love you Ajack, so much. More than you'll ever know...[/B]

After they had kissed for a good amount of time...they again looked out at the sea, holding each others hand.

''I never really knew my parents....they were always in and out of the house with there missions, they both were in the military.''

''Really...''

''Yea...it was about 6 years ago when they dissapeared. They never found them...but they're pressumed dead.''

''I'm sorry...''

''Its ok, it only made me stronger...and I was truly blessed to have my grandmother around; she was a sweetheart.''

''What was she like...?''

''She was wonderful, full of love and encouragement. She was an important part of my life after that night with Alev...''

''She sounds nice...''

''That she was...''

''Was...''

''Yes...she unfortunately died in a car accident due to the invasion. I had left school early on Valentines Day; *laugh* I never got a valentines letter...but I guess thats ok. I was in the car when the attack happened...I should be thankful to be alive now.''

''Seems like we have a lot in common...coming from broken homes apart from our parents.''

Ajack stood behind Lyu and wrapped her arms around her neck; embracing her...
''I am yours...you will never loss me...never would I just get up and leave without saying goodbye. If you'd let me...I will never leave.''

She wrapped his arms around her even tighter...

''You are a wonderful pilot...and Desh trusts you completely...together...you will do great things. If you want a reason to fight...I'll let you in on a little secret.''

He leaned his face closer to hers as he whispered into her ear...

''I fight for my friends, I fight for the people of this world...those who I've met, and those whom I will meet in the future...and above all else...*kissing her on the cheek* I fight for you.''

For some time.....both of them just looked up at the stars together.

''Now...shall we get back too the party...I'm sure people are wondering where we had gone too...maybe getting the wrong idea *with a wink*''

''Ajack!'' she yelled as she punched him in the shoulder.

But just as quickly...she hugged him again...and they walked in together.

Sora watched as Liz left her in the company of Vick and Darrius.
" So Sora, what else are we supposed to do at this thing?" Darrius asked curiosuly, wondering what she had in store for them.
" Well, you two are supposed to find some lovely young ladies to dance with and not bother me!" she replied playfully.
" Oh right! Uh huh....that's a good one Sora!" Darrius retorted, rolling his eyes.
" Hey, maybe you can't Darrius, but I won't turn down the challenge!" Vick said forcefully as he stood and departed from their table. Darrius chuckled.
" Was that a tactic for us to leave?" he asked inquistively.
" You're too smart for your own good NINJA!" Sora taunted.
Darrius chuckled again. " Right. I'll leave you in peace." He stood and joined a chattering group of girls that were hanging around two tables away.

Gazing absent-mindedly into the crowd, Sora glimpsed Dale walking around, looking very confused and embarassed. He looked rather dashing in the new outfit he had chosen from the Dress Room. A very simple but classic black-and-white suit with no bowtie but his pendant on his dress shirt. Sora gathered up her dress, so she wouldn't stand on it, and glided over to Dale. Once he saw her, an expression of relief washed over his face.

" Sora! Am I glad to see you!"
" Dale, how's it going?"
" Other than embarassing Lyu out of her brains, not good."
" Why not good?"
" Too embarassed to ask any of the girls to dance with me." A red tinge appeared on his cheeks.
Sora smiled. " Well, we all must be fighters, because not many of us are really comfortable in this environment."
" You can say that again."
" Well lets break the mould shall we? Dale, may I have this dance?"
Dale was speechless for a moment then a smile formed on his face. " Sure."

Together, they did a slow waltz to a couple of songs. Dale seemed to be enjoying himself, and more importantly, becoming more confident. He and Sora talked about which girls he'd like to ask to dance with him and which ones he wouldn't. In the end, Sora just went up to one that he liked and asked her for him. Soon, they were together dancing, although Sora could definitely see a tinge of scarlet upon his cheeks. She smiled at them, thinking of Sayne.

Walking out to look to a balcony to look over the sapphire sea, a sudden tap on her shoulder made Sora turn around. Keiji stood there, looking fairly embarassed but looked like he wanted to say something to her.
" Um....Sora....I know you and Sayne are an item....but....can I ask you for a dance? Just as friends?" He fiddled with his hands in nervousness.
" Sure Keiji. I'd love too."

Slowly swaying to the rhythm of the music, Sora and Keiji talked very little to each other. She could sense he was a little tense about the whole situation - about her and Sayne and about the Ball.
" What's wrong Keiji? Are you okay?" she asked, concerned.
" I'd rather be with Amatu than here. This is not one of my favourite places," he murmured in reply.
" Are you sure its not about me and Sayne?"
Keiji stayed silent for a minute. He looked for the words to say it. " Well...maybe...but as long as you don't forget that I'm still here....if things don't work out...."
Sora smiled, trying to understand what it must feel like. " Keiji, you will always be my friend, no matter what happens between me and Sayne. I could never leave any of you or the others pilots out. You've become like a second family to me. As I said, I love you like a brother."
Keiji smiled - and it was a true smile. " Thanks Sora."
" No problem Keiji. Now, shouldn't you be going off to find some pretty lady to swoon with?" SHe winked mischievously at him. He smiled again.
" Yeah, I think I will," he said, his tone of voice turning back into his normal state.

" Well, haven't I been shared around tonight?" Sora said to herself as she searched the room for Sayne. He had a habit of disappearing and was quite good at it. She looked on each of the balconys, disturbing Lyu and Ajack once.
" Oops! I'm so sorry guys!" she said as she quickly closed the doors again, her face red.

She continued her search until finally she came to the last balcony.
" It's always the last one. So ironic...."
Opening the doors, Sayne's figure came into view. She smiled warmly, feeling a new emotion curse through her body.
" Sayne, it's me..." she said, just warning him of her presence, just in case he pulled a gun on her, which was very likely to happen. He turned around and gave her a small smile.

Walking up to him, she snuggled into him, feeling the warmth of his body wash through hers. The cool ocean breeze caressed both of their bodies as they stood together in knowing silence.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Heero Darkangel]

Sayne stood looking out at the water...his eyes sparkling in the moonlight. Lyu's words slowly crossed his mind. At that moment he heard the door behind him open, his hand gripped a gun that was sitting comfortably in his holster.

'Sayne..its me...' came a voice that was gentle music to his ears. Sora.

He looked over his shoulder and smiled at her, she closed the door and walked over to him. Her frame was engulfed hauntingly by the moon as she put her arms around him and pressed her body close to his. He could feel every curve and warmth from her body...his hands shakely wrapped around her and they stood in silence.

Sayne then pulled away softly and lent against the railing. His eyes were shadowed with worry.

Sora lent against him and looked at him

'Something worries you..what is it?' questioned Sora

Sayne turned his head slowly and looked at her, he placed his hand on her cheek and caressed it with his thumb, she made him loose all sense's when she was near..but when he touched her...he felt as though he was going to loose control. She was the only one who was able to break down his barriers. He could feel his heart racing. It felt strange...he was alone with her, he had only be alone with her on a few occassions but nothing like this.

Within that moment he wraped his arm around her and pulled her closer and kissed her gently and passionately, his heart skipped so many beats that he thought he was going to die, she could feel his heart race and beat against her chest. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he was about to pull away and held him there for a while longer.

She could feel him tremble softly. Slowly he pulled away his head and looked at her, his breathing was slightly out of wack and uncontrolled.

'I.....have never in my whole.....life......felt like this,' he whispered, 'I'm so..nervous....I don't know what to do....I've never been this close to...anyone before...well not like this......you make my heart grow wild'

Sora smiled at him lovingly and ran her fingers through his hair as she kissed him again.

[COLOR=DarkGreen]darius felt a growing restlessnes that no amount of danceing could shake so he slipped out of the ballroom and headed toward the mech bay.
"hey there big cat how u holding up"
darrius got in and straped himself into the cockpit.
"now would be a great time to use that clearence pass you created using comander de'larn's ID."

the huge blast doors opened as the mech was cleared for take off. the huge machnial cheetah blured ino motion as the guiding arows streaked past.
the duo were content to just stretch their legs as the mechanima ate up the miles at a steady lope. peeling left darrius merged with bailey and followed the ridge of a huge canyon.

darrius was suddenly struck by heavy laser cannon fire which caused bailey to stagger and wheel around.
"what the fuck!!!"
the huge pegasus mech loomed overhead in the night sky as bailey turned tail and dashed away dodging laser fire.
digging his claws into the rim of the canyon he swung around and returned fire using max power on the demonblades pointing foward. the purple energy ray of baileys demon blades clashed in mid air with the roge mechs destructive weapon of death.
suddenly several T-Rexs emerged from the forest and lumbered toward the trapped cheetah mech.
"you have got to be kidding me!!!!there over a dozen of those fuckin oversized turkeys!"
the rexes closed in and halted, it didn't take a genius to figure out wat was coming next as they charged up their cannons.
darrius saw that the pegasus's beem was slowly but surely inching closer against his and anger grew in him forging a deeper conection with bailey.
heavy metal music surged though his mp3 player and thoughout his being, and he decided that if he was going to go down he was going down fighting.
bailey tapped every last micron of power he could spare and drew it into his core, charging up the weapon he only knew as "Spark"
"its bin an honor riding with you big cat"

with sheer force of will darrius promted it into action. it seemed as if the world had slowed down as darius felt the initial shockwave rip through his body. the last image though his brain was the face of a beutiful young woman, Liz. and then he blacked out.
blue and green lightning coursed though the cheetah mech and found the masive forms of the T-Rex's, yanking them through the air like straw towards itself. a masive EMP shockwave ripped through the mechs and an electrical storm erupted, frying cicuts and melting nearby mechs. the pegasus mech was knocked out of the air but not before its beam struck home resulting in a torent of twisted metal being buried in a torrent of sliding rock and earth. there was no sign of the cheetah mech or the alien built T-Rex's under the rubble at the bottom of the canyon.

the damaged pegasus took to flight into the darkness.
"well he knew how to go out in style, i'll give him that" the hooded figure mused

at the bottom of the canyon a techicolur forcefield suddenly sprang up around the huge pile of rubble.


OOC: ok here's the deal, i'm going to be down for the count for at least 4 weeks, boot camp (talk to amgoddess she knows wats happening) so this was a conveniant way to keep my charcter occupied, and get a fresh element in the plot lol.

Lyu walked hand in hand with Ajack till they reached the hanger.
"Well lets go."
She pulle dhim inside and laughed as all the guys agian turned toward her.
"Ajack, I think have fans..."
Ajack turned and pulled her close kissing her for all he was worth.
"Not anymore."
She laughed and led him to the Dj stand.
"Go for it, I'm gonn go find the others and relax alittle."
"Sounds good."
She kissed him quickly and found Liz in a corner.
"Hey, having fun?"
"Yeah, you and Sora look really nice tongiht."
"So do you Liz. truly. you do."
She sat down and watched happily as Ajack led the kids into a dace and laughed as her tripped slightly laughing.
"MY mistake! Don't d that folks."
He looked at Lyu and smiled, she smile dback and waved.
"You love him?"
"Well yeah...how could I not...Liz, Tigere, how well are you two getting along?"
"Pretty well. She's loyal, that's for sure...you and Desh?"
"Really good...Only, I wish I could fight like everyone else. I'm not a fighter...I hate to fight."
Liz smiled.
"No one likes this battel but hey, we do what we have to do. That's how you have to look at it."
"Good point...Thanks."
Lyu squeezed Liz's hand gently and got them both a drink and watche das the others danced.

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Sora kissed Sayne deeply as the moonlight from above shined upon them. Sora pulled away with a warm smile on her face.

" Oh Sayne....I never want to leave you....ever....." she said as she snuggled into his chest with his arms around her. She felt to safe in his arms, safer than anywhere else except for inside Blaze. Sora felt that actions said more than words in these moments. She could hear Sayne's heart thump against his chest. Smiling at herself, Sora closed her eyes as the sound of "Broken" by Seether and Amy Lee came from the hanger.

" Sayne?" Sora said, lifting her head to look into his eyes.
" Yes Sora..." he said breathlessly.
" If I don't come out of this war......alive.....I just want to know.....that I ......I love you Sayne De'Larne."

Sayne looked at her and smiled, noone had ever told him that before, his face turned a soft red as he gently caressed her cheek

'No matter what happens to either of us.....I will love you always..and forever....,' he whispered as he kissed her again and then hugged her tightly hoping in his heart...that it doesn't come to that

At that moment an explosion shook the base...guns echoed violently in the night sky

'What the.....' questioned Sayne as Sora clung to him in fright. He then grabbed her hand and they ran inside to find that everything was silent

'Someones attacking the base!!,' shouted a private who bursted through the doors. All the mech pilots looked at each other and they took off outside

There it was...the Pegasus.

They ran into the holding bay and saw the Darris and Bailey were gone

'Where's Darris!!,' shouted Sayne

[COLOR=DarkGreen]He took off. He was growing restless[/COLOR]. spoke Deviryn

'Shit,' whispered Sayne as the base alarm went off

Commander De'Larne, General Tame and General Rei ran through the doors to the holding bay

'The Pegasus Mechanima and a fleet of Terraductyles have just invaded the base. They must of use some kind of cloaking device to shield them from our raidars!,' exclaimed the Commander.

'We're on it!,' said Ajack as they boarded their mechs

Sayne looked at Sora who clung to him with tears in her eyes

'I love you...just remember that,' he whispered his eyes serious.

'And I love you,' she whispered back as they kissed each other as if there was no tomorrow. Sayne then pulled away, they looked at each other and then ran to their mechs and boarded them.

The cockpit system lit the darkness around Sayne. 'Lets go,'

They all shot out from the holding bay only to find that they were surrounded by Terraductyles. Saynes opened fire as they flew towards them. The others also did the same.

Gunfire sounded out around the base. Tanks rolled in to attack the enemy aswell as foot soldiers also opened fire.

At that moment the unknown figure on his screen took off his hood....and they he was....a face from Saynes past.....one who'd forgotten over time but his eyes were black and his face was pale..but he remembered

[B]**Randel**[/B] I see you remember now...I WAS MEANT TO TAKE YOUR PLACE!!...IT SHOULD OF BEEN ME!!!

Sayne just stared at him coldly as he remembered what had happened.

[B]**Randel**[/B] By the way....I have someone who might interest you.....

At that moment Darris's face appeared on the screen

[B]**Sayne**[/B] You Bastard!!!

Sayne and Deviryn flew hard at Randel and the Pegasus

[COLOR=DarkRed]'lets take what we came for..and get out of here..,[/COLOR]' smiled Randel demonically as they flew at Deviryn

The Terraductyles suddenly used a sonic shockwave which shook everything, it was high pitched and made the mechanimas go crazey.

'What the fuck!!!,' roared Sayne as deviryn went mad

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Sayne!!![/COLOR] roared Deviryn as the Pegasus ploughed into them, both mechs fell to the ground and hit hard.

All the mechanimas dropped to the ground. The shock wave had stopped but it left the mechs in bad shape....the shockwave some how drainned all power from their mechs.

The Pegasus and the Terraductyles landed beside him

[COLOR=DarkRed]**Outtercom Activated: Randel***[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed]**Randel** And the Angels fall....now that thats done...I want you all out of those mechs now![/COLOR]

Everyone then turned on their Outtercoms

[B]**Vick** [/B] Go to Hell you sick son of a bitch!!

[B]**Ajack** [/B] Drop Dead!!

[COLOR=DarkRed]**Randel** Then so be it...Terraductyles aim and fire upon the Fox mechanima [/COLOR]

[B]**Ajack**[/B] LYU!!!!...You bastard!!

[COLOR=DarkRed]**Randel** As I said..get out and noone gets hurt[/COLOR]

There was a long silence, suddenly the Terraductyles opened fire on Sora and Blaze

[B]**Sayne*** [/B] SORA!!...YOU!!!....STOP!

The Terraductyles stopped and then opened fire on Dale and Keiji

At that moment the cockpit doors to Deviryn opened up

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Sayne.... [/COLOR] whispered Deviryn as Sayne walked out.

[COLOR=DarkRed]**Randel** Oh nice to see someone has brains![/COLOR]

Sora then got out of hers and ran to Sayne, he held her tightly in his arms as he stared at the Pegasus. Everyone else then got out of theres and walked over and stood by Sayne and Sora.

The Pegasus's cockpit doors opened and Randel swung down.

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Well..well...well..what do we have here...the cold heartless Sayne has a girlfriend...and shes quite stunning...if I may add,[/COLOR]' smiled Randel as he held them at gun point, the Terraductyles also had their guns aimed upon them. The tanks and soldiers of L.S One had haulted.

'Touch her and your dead!,' yelled Keiji

Sayne stared at Randel menacingly

Cylargers suddenly appeared behind Randel

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Take who we want!,' growled Randel[/COLOR]

At that moment the Cylargres ran towards them, making sure that they covered themselves from the L.S One troops who were aiming but couldn't shoot because the pilots were in the way.

They began to fight the Cylargres. Sayne grabbed one of them and began smashing him in the face, black blood splattered everywhere, they were all pounding the Cylargres until a gun sounded off. They stopped and looked around and realized that Randel had fired the gun into the sky

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Keep it up...I will tell my men to kill the Cheetah pilot,' smiled Randel[/COLOR]

Everyone looked at Randel in horror

'What!...you have Darris??' questioned Dale

At that moment they dragged Darris out, he was unconcious and hung lifelessly in there clutches

'Darris....,' whispered Liz

'You...' growled Sayne

The Cylargres then grabbed Keiji, Lyu and Sora, leaving Dale, Ajack, Liz, Vick and Sayne

'SAYNE!!,' screamed Sora as she broke free from there grip and tried to run back to him

Sayne then ran towards Sora

[COLOR=DarkRed]'STOP!,' yelled Randel[/COLOR] as he fired the gun into the sky again

Sayne and Sora stood only an arms length away from each other, Tears fell from Soras eyes

[COLOR=DarkRed]'One more step..and one of you die...' Growled Randel[/COLOR]

The cylargres then grabbed Sora from behind as Randel walked up to them. Sayne stood there his eyes grew dark

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Such a beautiful thing,' Randel whispered[/COLOR] as he touched Soras cheek, Sora then bit Randels hand, at that moment Randel drew his hand back to hit her, Sayne suddenly stopped him by grabbing his and pulling his gun on Randel, Randle then aimed at Sora

Without words being spoken Sayne dropped the gun and let go of Randels arm.

Randel then looked at Sora

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Say goodbye..,'[/COLOR] whispered Randel as he pointed the gun at Sayne who never took his eyes off Randel.......He fired.....Deviryn let out a cry of pain..and loss..his roared echoed along the ground

'NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!,' screamed Sora as she tried to break free from the Cylargres grip

Saynes eyes didn't flinch to the sound of the gun...or the bullet passing through his chest...his eyes were locked on Randels...everything defened around him as a pain shot through his body, his legs felt weak...and his head throbbed, He could hear yelling from all directions as he looked at Sora who was struggling with the Cylargres....he could feel himself sway and then his legs gave way...Sora broke from their grip again...she ran to him...her screaming sounded distant...she cuaght him as they dropped to the ground

He looked at her and smiled as she kissed him...her tears falling on his face...he raised his hand, wiped away a tear

'I..love you....Don't....let....the light go out....' he whispered, he gave her a wink as blood was seen at the corner of his mouth, his eyes darkened...he went limp.

Her screams echoed around the base as they ripped her up off the ground...Keiji, Lyu and Sora were then dragged to a small carrier jet and dragged inside.....their yelling and screaming was heard until the doors closed.

Ajack, Liz, Vick and Dale watched on helplessly as the enemy flew off. randel smiled at them...he walked over and checked Saynes pulse.....there was none.

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Such a deadly ending....never thought you'd fall victim to love Sayne,'[/COLOR] smiled randel as he took off towards the Pegasus, the army opened fire but couldn't get a clean shot as Randel disappeared back inside the Pegasus and took off.

Ajack, Liz, Vick and Dale ran to Saynes side...they tried to search for any sign of life..but there was none....

'It..can't be....' whispered Ajack as tears formed in his eyes

At that moment Dr Kane and four other professors ran towards them

'Quickly!..if we're fast enough we can save him!, get those mechs inside the holding bay and recharge them full power!,' yelled Dr Kane

They finished recharging the mechs, Dale, Vick, Ajack and Liz stood awaiting their orders from general Rei

'Your mechs have been fitted with a specially device so that the Terraductyles can't do what they did before. Liz, we need you to locate Darris's mech, they never took the mechs because they'd be too dangerous which means they would of left Darris's mech where ever they fought him, after you've done that, you'll send the location back to us and we'll pick it up, then you will go on to help Ajack, Vick and Dale. Ajack, Vick and Dale, you two will go hunt those bastards down and get the others out of their grasp..and we'll bring that mother ship down,' spoke General Rei, his eyes angered by what had happened

'But sir...there is only two of us, how will we find them,' said Dale

'No..we will be sendning out a fleet with you, we managed to get a tracking device on that carried. so we are locked in to where they're heading which looks to be Delshin Dessert,' spoke General Rei

Ajack, Vick, Liz and Dale looked at each other

'What about Sayne?' questioned Ajack

'Lets hope....he's alive,' whispered General Rei, 'Now...GO!...we don't have much time before they start trying to turn them against us...which could be very dangerous for us,'

'For my love..Lyu...We are coming,' whispered Ajack as they boarded their mechs and took off

[B]In the lab: An hour after the others left[/B]

'Give him full dosage, now!,' yelled Dr Kane

'But.....he'll...go wild...' whispered a man

'I don't care...if we don't..he dies!,' growled Dr Kane

They looked at the Commander who stood looking over his son

'Sayne....I am sorry....for everything.....I.....' whispered The Commander as he wiped the tears from his eyes, 'I am sorry,'

Dr Kane then maxmized the dose and ran it through. Nothing happened. They then ran through another dose....still there was nothing

Commander De'Larne looked at Dr Kane as he put through one more dose, suddenly Saynes eyes shot open and he inhaled deeply, his eyes were blood shot and his body was shaking, he groaned at the pain

They all looked at each other as Sayne sat up slowly

'Son.....' whispered De'Larne

'That....bastard...will pay,' growled Sayne

Sayne then slid off the table..his legs still weak but he managed to steady himself.

'Son please..hear me out' whispered Darcon as he placed a hand on saynes shoulder, Sayne then looked at his father as tears fell from his face, 'I'm sorry.....'

Sayne looked at his father..his face emotionless

'I did not mean to do what I did to you,' whispered Darcon

Sayne still looked at his father blankly

'please...come back,' begged Dracon

'I will do what has to be done...my life right now isn't important,' spoke sayne in his monotones voice as he walked passed

'Son....then let this beknown to you......If this is.....,' began Darcon, '.....I've always loved you......I always acknowledged your achievements....just in my own way,' spoke darcon as more tears rolled down his face at that moment a black folder fell from Darcons hands and everything spilt out on to the floor...It was a folder of what Sayne had achieved and done...there was even a photo of him and his mother.

Sayne turned and looked at his father. He bent down and picked up the photo, he was shocked by everything he had seen....he then realized that his father did love him...just in his own way, Sayne put the photo in his pocket

'Ands that all I wanted to hear..' whispered Sayne as he walked out

Sayne looked around, Ajack, Liz, Vick and Dales Mechs were gone.

'Sayne,' called General Rei from behind, Sayne turned around, 'It is good to see that your ok,'

Sayne looked at the Generals eyes, tears were falling slowly down his face

'Please...bring my girl home,' whispered General rei, 'Bring her back safely...bring her home to me...she is all i have,'

'Where'd they go?' questioned Sayne in his monotone

'Delshin Dessert,' replied General Rei

Sayne gave him a nod and then disappeared inside Deviryn. Once again the cockpit was lit.

The power serged through both of them and they let out a roar in unison as they shot out of the holding bay

'Lets go hunting..' smiled Sayne as they soared through the sky at high speed, Delshin Dessert was an hour away

Do what ever to finish off your post about the ball if you want to but then Darris, Sora, Keiji and Lyu have all been taken to a Cylargre main earth base in Delshin dessert...but noone gets put under mind control because your mechs wont allow it...so they'll do what they can to try and control yous...Amgoddess knows what will be happening to you four ok so do what ever.. Ajack, Liz, Vick and Dale are either on there way or you guys can start up the fight which ever. Sayne is also on his way..but he'll come in halfway during the battle...so Wreek Havoc!!![/B][/I]

Lyu wasn't a fighter but you wouldn't tell it by her actions now, she slamed back breaking a nose behind her and screamed as black blood seeped down her shoulder.
"You bastard!"
Randle came over to her and put a hand under her chin and forced her to look at him
"Your almost as pretty as that one."
Sora had beed drugged so she would stay quiet, Lyu had taken her place.
"You won't get away with this! I'l kill you I'll kill you for what you've done! YOu killed Sayne@ You killed him!"
He reached back and slapped her across the face, she looked back almost instantly.
"I'll kill you..."
She licked the blood from her lip as it ran down her chin.
"Look at what you've done...You'll repent for it all twice as bad you slimy little toad!"
He nodded to one of the figure behind her and she felt the needle press into her neck and her vision went foggy as the drug went through her system making her sleep.
"Ajack...Sayne, Sora...I'm sorry..."

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Sora's vision was blurry and very slow to react. She had seen Lyu receive a needle in the back of the head, making her fall asleep almost instantly. Darrius was over in the corner, still unconscious. Keiji was given the same needle as her and sat there silently next to her.

The world spun around her. Sora slightly swayed side to side, feeling sickness in her stomach. She had just seen Sayne die at the hands of this Randel. She had kicked and screamed the Cylargre that held her, trying to get back to Sayne, but that was when she received the needle. It was a strange bright yellow liquid that make Sora fall quiet instantly.

Feeling sickness take over, Sora passed out on Keiji's shoulder.

Sora awoke grogily to find herself inside a laser-barred cell. It was a large cell that held all four of the MechAnima pilots. Keiji was the only one who had remained conscious on their flight to the main Cylargrian Earth base. He'd taken care of Lyu and Darrius, putting them in their makeshift beds to rest. He sat next to Sora's bed as he waited for one of them to wake up, the effects of the drug finally wearing off.

When Keiji heard Sora move, her turned to her. The effects of the drug had worn off and she looked at Keiji with tear-filled eyes.
" He's gone Keiji.........." she whimpered as she buried herself in the thin pillow.
Keiji didn't know what to do or say. He just sat there, looking at Sora bawl with grief.

A sudden thud of a door opening echoed from down the hall. Keiji and Sora both looked up. A guard of Cylargrian troops marched into view on the other side of the laser bars. Keiji stood up, feeling the need to protect them. Sora stood also and clutched Keiji's arm. Randel walked into view. He looked at them and sniggered.

" Well well well, if it isn't the girlfriend of Sayne De'Larne? And the Hawk MechAnima's pilot. Become quite friendly have we?" he taunted.
" SHUT UP YOU COWARD!" Sora screamed at him, tears once again running down her face. " I'LL KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO SAYNE!"
" How dare you, you isolent little brat!" Randel spat back and walked right through the laser bars. Sora and Keiji took a step backwards.
" How the hell...." Keiji started.
" Heh. I've been injected with Cylargrian blood. These bars only let Cylargrians pass through them," Randel mocked, " But now I have to break up the little couple here. Guards!"

The Cylargrian guards, all except one, passed through the bars and tried to grab Sora. But Sora and Keiji wouldn't go down without a fight. Keiji kicked one in the face, making it stumble backwards and Sora punched Randel in the face, causing him to have a black-blooded nosebleed.
" Take that you bastard!"

But as soon as Sora finished her sentence, the guards overwhelmed Keiji and knocked him out. They moved over to Sora and grabbed her around the waist. She thrashed about, kicking them and punching them with all of her might. However, she was also overwhelmed and subdued by the might of the Cylargrian guards. The one outside switched off the lasers and the troop walked out with no worries of prisoners escaping.
" KEIJI!" Sora yelled before being taken away from the cell.

The troop took Sora to a large circular room with a large, flat metal sheet, suspended in mid-air by some unknown force, in the centre. They strapped Sora to the metal sheet and faded into the shadows. Randel walked up to her and stared her straight in the eyes.

" Now, as the late Sayne De'Larne's girlfriend, you are honorably chosen as the first one of the MechAnima pilots to join the Cylargrians."
" There is no honour in fighting for the wrong cause!" Sora spat.
" Still feisty are we? I wonder if that is the reason Sayne liked you. Probably just because of your pretty face."
" Don't talk about things you don't know, you murderous filth!"
" Touchy touchy. Well, maybe when you've changed a little, you and your little girl friend will join me at my side."
" In your dreams!"

Sora could see she was getting on Randel's nervers. He had his fists clenched tightly. She smiled as his obvious rage.
" Awww....are you being intimidated by one small girl?" Sora mocked.
Randel back-handed her across the right cheek. A small trickle of blood dribbled out of the corner of Sora's mouth.
" Heh.....is that all you've got?" Sora mocked again.
This time Randel punched her twice in the stomach. Sora lurched forward, having all the air punched out of her lungs. She coughed, trying to get some breath back into her lungs. She looked up at him.
" Do you enjoy taking your hatred out on me? Come on....that was pathetic..." she breathed, sneering at him. She wanted to make him angry so he'd make her angry.
Randel punched her across the face and stomach a few times before kicking her in the face. He stopped panting. Sora hung her head down. Randel looked at her, grabbed her hair and brought her face up to his. He was shocked to see she was smiling.
" Lets see how tough you are when we change who you fight for!" Randel sneered.

A cold metal claw clamped around Sora's neck. Randel let go of her and Sora struggled to breathe. The claw was crushing her wind pipe. A sharp pain came from behind her as two knives cut the back of her neck open. She could feel blood running down her back, along her spine. She tried to scream but there was nothing to scream with. Randel stood back and watched with delight at Sora struggling in her bonds.

Cold metal implements sliced into her neck muscle. They were going to do something to her spine, where it joined to the head and her brain. A small slimy feeling Sora then felt.
" Say hello to your new Cylargrian occupant!" Randel laughed. Sora screamed with pain.

Meanwhile.....

A loud alarm went off in the MechAnima holding bay. General Rei and Doctor Kane ran down to the hanger to see what the problem was. As soon as they stepped through the door, they heard an extremely loud warcry from Blaze. It made the two men sink to the floor in pain as they covered their ears, trying to block out the piercing sound.

They looked up at the MechAnima who was crashing into all of the walls and even the other MechAnimas. Flames were all around its body as it crashed into another wall, shaking the whole base.
" What the hell is going on?!" General Rei yelled over the loud crashes and piercing cries.
" The Phoenix must be experiencing what its pilot is experiencing. It means that Sora and Blaze are in perfect synch, but something extremely terrifying is happening to Sora. It would be the only reason why Blaze would be acting like this!" Doctor Kane yelled in reply.
" No....Sora...."

Sora writhered in her restraints, trying to get away from the metal instruments in her neck.
" It's no use pilot! You cannot stop being turned into a Cylargian now!" Randel laughed in sheer delight at her desperate attempts at escape.

" BLAZE!" she screamed.
" Huh?" Randel said.

A huge blazing red figure of a phoenix suddenly appeared in front of Sora. A shrill cry echoed throughout the room. Randel ducked as the phoenix swooped over him. It flew back over to Sora and wrapped itself around her, protecting her from any harm. The metal instruments behind her burst into flame and melted on the spot. The Cylargrian creature shrieked as it was burnt to death.

" Damn these MechAnimas!" Randel cursed.

Sora was flung back into the cell by the guards. Keiji was again conscious and ran over to her as she landed heavily on the floor.
" Sora....Sora....what did they do to you?" he asked as he saw the giant cut in the back of her neck. Sora sat up, felt behind her neck and covered it with her neck-band.
" They....they...they tried to turn me into one of them....but Blaze saved me....." She was severely shaked by the events that had just occured. She lent into Keiji and started crying.

OOC: Ok, Altron and Lyuann. The operation that Sora just experienced will happen to your characters, although you can change it if you like, make it more interesting. Basically they have to put a small living organism in your spinal cord, where it joins to the brain. That's the way they have complete control over humans. But your MechAnimas will save you in a way similar to the way Blaze just saved Sora. Have fun torturing your characters![/FONT][/COLOR]

Liz was silent the entire way... everyone was. Dale... Ajack... Vick... they were all worried about the others... and in shock of what happened to their Captain.

"Yeah?" he said... his voice serious and unmoving. She knew he was worried about Lyu.

"She'll be alright... just have faith..." she said.

[b]***Transmission From Dale to Liz, Vick, and Ajack***[/b]

"Five squads of Cylagre ships coming our way..." Dale said.

[b]**Liz**[/b] "Got it, what's the range?"

[b]**Dale**[/b] "500 km.... coming from the east and west."

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "Were they expecting us??"

[b]**Liz**[/b] "Most likely... they should have expected us following sooner or later."

[b]**Vick**[/b] "I'm taking the east, you and Ajack and Dale can take the west."

[b]**Liz**[/b] "Like HELL YOU WILL! Vick, we're all fighting together on this one. They'll all meet in the middle anyways."

There was no response from Vick's Mech.

[b]**Dale**[/b] "The odds are against us guys."

[b]**Liz**[/b] "As they always have been..." she concluded. She checked her systems. Everything checked out fine.

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "Let's give them hell!!!" bellowed from his Mech. Liz looked over at Dale... he was quiet but focused. She admired that.... for herself... she was scared as hell.

[i]We'll take them out Liz... don't worry...[/i]

"I want those bastards to pay.... they killed Sayne Tiegre.... why did they kill him? How could they do that to Sora?" Her anger fueled her making her want to lash out.

[i]Liz... just fight with me... we'll make them pay for all the damage they've done.[/i]

She nodded and ran toward the enemies along with the other three Mechs... the odds were against them, but they weren't about to fail the others... too much was at stake...

I'll be in the air giving topside support against these damn Terredactyles. Surround the base!...come at it from all different angles so that we can spread there defenses. I'll attack from up top...

Ajacks voice was focused and severe...

There was silence for a while on all the other lines.

***Vick: I'm sorry Ajack...I didn't mean too...

***Ajack: *calming down his voice, taking deep breathes* It's alright Vick, I'm sorry for yelling at you...I know you ment well. But Liz is right...we gotta do this as a team if we want to survive this...if we want to see them again.

***Vick: Alright...lets do this bub.

***Liz: That's the spirit...we can do this. For Lyu!

***Dale: For Keiji and Darrius!

***Vick: For Sora and Sakura!

All four mechs. seperated away from each other...taking their positions. Ajack burst full speed into the air while Liz and Vick took the left and right side flanks because of their speed deference to Dale's Cobra.

Dale went straight up the middle of the incoming DinoMechs. while Liz and Vick surrounded them from the sides. The fleet was enourmous...but his friends were fighting heroicly, galantly.

As Ajack assended higher and higher into the sky...seeing the incoming Terradactyle hoard coming straight at him. Tears spread across his face...not only for Lyu...but for Sayne as well...for all of them. He couldn't tell if this was the end...but all he knew was...convinced in his heart, that he would die to get his friends back, to keep them safe.

Ajack was in a complete trance...flying right through the fleet, using his wings as a razor blade...he cut right through the first line easily. They were surrounding him now...sizing Ajack up. One after another keep attacking...it seemed to be neverending. Slashing here and there with his talons...shreading through their armor like paper. The battle was intense...

A fierce volley of energy blasts came from within the base...catching Ajack's blind side which was turned to the Terradactyles.

Ajack went right back to destroying the Terradactyles, his movements were precise, Apollo's speed was working far better than its normal perameters. He'd be in one stop one moment...then someplace else another. When another volley came at him...but this time he was ready, and Apollo attempted a somersault flip in the air...with most of the blasts going right past him...hitting the enemy Terradactyles.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]Damage to the hull is minimal, 30%. However the friction of the interior is faultering...almost coming to a 100% stress level. [/COLOR]

Again...a wave of blasts came from within the base.

Multiple waves came now through the sky directly at Apollo. With his four massive wings, Ajack shielded himself from the blasts...

Shooting down out of the sky...Apollo was building up speed...taking little but significant damage to the wings. Before Apollo was able to pass over the walls of the Cylargrian base...a barrier formed, pushing Apollo back into the sky from which it came from.

Out of Apollo's beak came a massive red energy wave...dead on target with the Cylargrian forcefield.

''AGAIN!''

Only charging up for a brief amount of time...Apollo kept continually firing upon the enemy base.

Ajack could see in his screen the fleet of T's and Velociraptors coming right up behind Vicks backside.

All the enemy units were easily destroyed by the blast...continuing to fire from its beak...Apollo turned its neck and blasted at the base yet again. But it was too late...just when the shield went down...Randel took Ajack's little distraction as an advantage and fired upon the Griffin sending it backwards...falling to the ground.

''My Lord...our shield is down.''

''That's ok...we only have ground units to worry about now.'' exclaimed Randel

Sora landed into the cell heavily, and he ran over.

"Oh my God, are you okay, Sora?" He didn't answer him in a complete sentence... Something about Blaze saving her. She must be off her knocker, he thought, as she was still in the prision.

"Next is you, Bitch Boy." The said to Keiji, roughly taking him by his arms, and clapping his hands in cuffs.

"Fuck you, bitches. Go to hell." He said. The shrugged off his insult, and carried him into a room, where they strapped him down. Randal was no longer in there, but a Cylarge woman doctor. She looked very near-human, and looked extremely attractive.

"What the hell am I thinking?! She's a CYLARGE!" He shouted outloud, trying to shake himself from his train of thought. "And they're going to torture me!" He yelled.

He was strapped down in the chair that reminded him of the dentist's office. Except there were restrainers all over it, and he was strapped down. She walked over to him, holding a syringe, and sat on the arm-rests. Except his arms weren't resting in them.

"Helloo.... Pilot of the Hawk. And what am I supposed to do with you? Hmm?" She said. She sat down on his lap, and licked his cheek, whispering in his ear.

"Fuck off, you whore." He said, then gritted his teeth.

"Ohh.... touchy are we? I'll just give you this shot... and you'll be okay." She told him, sitting back up on his lap.

"No! Never..." he said in a grim tone, but she was already walking to the back of the chair to inject whatever that syringe held into his head.

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Keiji screamed. Amatu synced completely with him, and glass vials flew up around the room. They flew, every which-way, as if by some unseen wind. The smashed into the walls, knocked over shelves, and most importantly, hit the 'doctor' in the neck.

"You.... you bitch-human!" She got up, clutching her neck. It had cut her jugular vien. It would kill her in a few seconds... he had to stall. She staggered over to him, and smacked him across the cheek, then picked up a piece of glass, cutting him through his shirt across his chest. The pain was excruciating.

"FUCK!" He yelled out-loud. She crawled to the back of the chair, and injected Keiji successfully with the syringe in his spinal column. Then she flopped over, and died. He waited there for a good ten minutes, as he guessed that she was supposed to walk out once she was done with injecting him.

The pain increased with the shot, and he lay there in agony for the next ten minutes. Then the cylarges guards came in, punched him in the stomach where he had just been cut, and was bleeding from, and threw him back in his cell.

"... accc..kt..." he exhaled in pain when he hit the ground, Sora immediately ripped a part of his shirt, and bandaged up the wound. It wouldn't be fatal. Just painful.

Lyu maoned loudly, her dream was weird. She could see the base and the hanger and the other Mechs, Both Blaze and Amatu were going wild.

She waited pateintly, stiil asleep. She saw what Desh saw, she saw Sayne's Mech and felt pain in her heart for Sora...all of a sudden a fer of death and for...her-self erupted in her chest and she whimpered slightly. She heard Desh talking but nothing was understood. She heard Ajack.
[I]Are you willing to die with me Apollo?[/I]
[B] NO! Ajack! Don't die on me! YOu rpomised you would never leave if you couldn't say good bye! Ajack![/B]
She was jarred awak as the base shook with explosions from outside. She looked up as the soldiers came in and grabbed her she screamed agaist it till they took her into the room. It was a mess, melted parts and shattered glass, blood was at her feet. Obviously from the others. She looked into the face of the enemy and stayed silent as they slit the back of her neck, she whimpered slightly till they tried to put the creature in her back. Right where her spine met the back of her head. Pain was all she knew now. She screamed and fell forward as they caught and held her.
In the hanger Desh screamed with her, his high pitched howl shttering the glass. His eyes going red and yellow, flashing.
Lyu screamed, tears raingin down her cheeks. Her eyes flew open as a shadow passed around her in the shape of a fox, it gapped open the throats of the troops around her and then took the creature at her neck and killed it as well. She was thrown back into the cell, her cheeks soaked with tears, her breathing raspy from her screaming.
"Ajack...Please, live..."

Liz fought her hardest as the Cylargian ships came their way. Suddenly, she got a distress signal.

[b]**Transmission From Ajack**[/b]

"Liz, we can really use your help right now... my mech is in need of healing..."

[b]**Liz**[/b] "We're on our way, Ajack, hold on."

[b]**Transmission From Dale**[/b]

"Liz, where are you going?!"

Liz bit her bottom lip as she turned around from the battle "Ajack needs help.... I can't let another man die out there!"

[b]**Vick**[/b] "You'll need cover..."

[b]**Liz**[/b] "I won't be long... If you abandon this post, they'll follow all of us, and I won't be able to heal Ajack... you need to stay here... I will be back." she said as she and Tiegre sprinted to Ajack's position. They spotted the Griffith.

"What's their status?"

"Can you repair their systems?"

[color=blue][i]Shields will be up... stress level will stay...[/i][/color]

"Do it Tiegre..."

"Give us a few minutes, we'll have you up and running in no time." she said smiling.

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "What are you doing to my sheilds?"

Liz didn't understand... "I'm repairing your systems Ajack..." she said

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "NO!!"

Liz stared at the griffin in disbelief. "Say that again?"

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "I'm giving my life for her Liz!!! Don't take that from me!!!"

Liz knew he was losing it... his grief was too much.

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "I'm going to die for her... it's the least I can offer her!!!"

[b]**Liz**[/b] "SNAP OUT OF IT AJACK!!!" she screamed over his rantings. There was a dead silence between them as the Terradactyles closed in on them.

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "This is not your call.... back off Liz... I only needed to get off this ground."

[b]**Liz**[/b] "You inconsiderate bastard...."

There was no reply from Ajack... just silence. She continued.

[b]**Liz**[/b] "Have you ANY IDEA what it's like for her? She's fighting to stay alive in hopes to be reunited with you... doesn't that mean ANYTHING to you?"

There was still no sound.

[color=blue][i]Recovery at 85% completion...[/i][/color]

[b]**Liz**[/b] "She loves you Ajack... and you dying for her is going to haunt her for the rest of her life. This isn't about HONOR... this is about love. Fight for her, and don't let that dream of being together die... You and she share a bond.... and if you die Ajack... everything inside of her that was good will die along with you. Is that what you want? To give her a life of misery???"

[b]**Ajack**[/b] ".... no...."

[b]**Liz**[/b] "Then fight for her Ajack... and don't give up the life you two could share..."

[color=blue][i]Recovery complete... incoming fire... heat sources coming in fast.[/i][/color]

"DAMMIT!!" Liz said. She ran in front of the Griffith as three missiles made impact to her hull.

[b]**Ajack**[/b] "LIZ!!!"

[b]**Liz**[/b] "Save Lyu... you have someone to live for... and she needs you more than anything right now... don't fail her Ajack... don't give your life to them..." At that moment, Tiegre stood back up.

Liz smiled. "Are you ready Tiegre?"

"I don't do suicide.... but I will give them the chance to be happy. Now Tiegre..."

Tiegre let out a large cry and ran with extensive damage to the hull.... more missiles making their mark. Tiegre glowed red as she and Liz were completely in sync, running at incredible speed, burning, and destroying all in their path... as the damage continued to tear at their Mech....

"We're giving him a chance.... we're giving both of them a chance..."

"And I don't plan on dying. But he has more to live for than I do... and I'm not afraid..." Liz's body was shaking from the damage Tiegre was getting... feeling every blow because of their perfect syncing. But she went out alone... hoping to God that she had given Ajack the time he needed to completely recover.
