ahhhh, nice question. well i have 2 sides to me.

1: This is my Evil and Depressed side. I act older and turn deadly serious. I turn into a silent killer. I would want toi destroy everyone. Well he acts Older like about 22

2: This is my Happy and hyper side. I act way younger. I jump around, I yell, I headbang in the bus and I do crazy Stuff. I act like a friggin 9 year old.

I just turned 15 today. so that is me in a nutshell.

Cheza--You can goof off in collge, heh. If nothing else (as long as you are not actively being disrespectful), your professors won't really have a problem with it, and they'll know who you are. So if your not a fan of anonymity, go for it, heh. In all the classes I've had, the goofy kids who spoke up were everyone's favorite classmate/student. Just don't be obnoxious, heh (good advice for anything, really).

If I thought about it, I'd say I act exactly my age. Sometimes I'm really goofy, sometimes I'm really quiet--but I've been that way all my life, heh, so I don't see what it has to do with age.

I guess I have about the same level of maturity as most of my friends. And you know, that's fine with me. I'm just me, heh. I don't want to be anyone else. Five years ago, I might have said something different....but I'm happy being who I am.

And I don't know if there are a lot of people, or any age, who can say that and mean it.

my beautiful,
Sara

Do I act my age? no. i am an 18 year old in a 15 year old's body. my 14 year old sibling acts older than i do. on top of that, i look like im 16, and my sibling looks like she's 16-17, so everybody thinks she is actually older. its hilarious. but really, I think the only people who really "act their age" are those who are either worry constantly about what people think or have grown up with huge responsiblilities (ex. a person w/ 3 or 4 siblings).
I also think that people who are fans of anime, especially anime like inuyasha and fruba, also act much younger than they are. :p

It depends on who im with and where i am.
When im at school with my mates we all act like we are 12 (we are all between 16/17) We act more immarture that the lower years sometimes, and get moan at for it :D.
I sometimes act older than i am if i am with friends or family who are older than me (they are from 23 to 50). If we go out for a meal or to a bar i always talk to them at the same level and i don't ever feel younger than them.

My maturity depends on the presence of females and teachers. When I'm with a girlfriend, I don't make stupid sex jokes or make weird noises. Thats reserved for my male friends. I make fun of people to get a rise out of my female companion. I don't talk much when a teacher is around.

I think that I tend to act a little older than my actual age, 17. People have told me this before because of how serious my outside "shell" is, and even when I'm goofy I only really do it to an extent. I mean, I enjoy having fun, but I don't go out and do stupid crap that's going to mess me up in the short or long term, which a lot of immature kids around my age tend to do.

Especially when it comes down to things like my stand on relationships, I understand the viewpoint about how you're only young once, but I don't want to waste my time screwing up and not doing something that is going to benefit me in the long run. It just doesn't make sense to me. I weigh even the tiniest decisions carefully to study the concequences and such, and I make every attempt to look at something with very little bias, so I'd say that I'm pretty mature about most things. Most people seem to classify me as acting about five or so years older.

Yes, for me it depends a lot on the situation...

When I'm excited, I act like a 5-year old. (That's rare if I'm 16...) I act really "cute" and even annoying at times. Usually I dress that way too, so I look and act like a 5-year-old. And I do cry a lot, so at those times I sound like a 5-year-old.

Then there are times when I act like I'm either my age or maybe 18 or 21. I can be sassy, independent, skeptical, and with a touch of pride mixed in. I would express myself as much as possible, just like if I was in a job or something--I would be doing my best and everything.

Then there's times when I act like I'm at least 70 years old. This usually happens when I'm with my friends or alone, or at certain "spiritual moments" in my life. I tend to get fed inspiration and "wisdom" so frequently that I feel calm in a happy way, as if I had just finished a happy life and want nothing else, just a nirvana. And yes, that is the state I'm in right this very moment. All my "spirit talks", my inspirational times, after-meditation experiences, etc. happen in this state, and I act like and old, mellow, and wise woman...

I hate acting my age. I act older when it come to intelect but when comes to social skills pshh i dont act a day ove 5. And i am so fine with that. The only mature thing i do is watch older teen anime and adult anime(not hentai but stuff like Ghost in the Shell and SAmurai X) I figure if i dont act my age i can put off taxes for years :D

I act just about anything but my age (13). Sometimes I am told that I am very mature, sometimes I am told I am very immature, and sommetimes I just go insane. At home I act like a 3 year old. If Im around my friends, then I actually act my age, but around my enemies, I act like a very angry old man.

I think I act my age, but seeing how I have never been 29 before I might be wrong about that. I have been told by the adults in my life that I seem "mature beyond my years" when it comes to my work ethic. I have always been told that I act older than my age. Now that does not mean I don't have fun. I feel having fun does not have an age limit. I also feel there is a time and place for everything though. For example, having a food fight at a picnic with your friends can be fun. But having a food fight at a wedding reception would not be a good time.

I guess acting your age to me means knowing when and where your actions are appropriate.

I have been told that I act like I am older than the age of fifteen. Which surprises me because when I'm around my friends, we're the craziest people I know...

Having a somewhat extensive voacbulary helps, I was talking with a friend of mine the other day who is 19 years old. He had to stop and ask me to explain some of the words I was using. ^__^

But other than that, I act no younger than my age. If I did, I'd probably slap myself...
