OOC: Since I don't know what it is you're wanting the first post to be... I'm going to start it where they are one person right now... if it's not good, let me know.

IC:

She walked with her hood closely over her head... it was night, and no one was out walking the streets. No one dared to since there were so many dangers in the area... Reports of Muggings... kidnappings... even murder prowled the streets. But for Samantha... none of this mattered. She gave little value if any to her own life.

The streets glistened with light... the ground was wet from the rain that had poured just hours before. The street lights lit up the ground all around, making the feel a lot eerier than it usually was. Samantha was on her way to the local bar where she hoped to find something to eat. She didn't have money... but was willing to improvise without a second thought to it.

She walked past the alleys when three men came over to her and grabbed her. They tried pulling her jacket off, but Samantha had been through this before. She pulled out her dagger and thrusted one into the man behind her. She pulled it out and swung it past the other man's abdomen. The last one stared at her and ran. She looked at the mess she had created and decided not to clean it up this time. She was hungry.

She knelt down to see if these ones were more useful then the others before, and she was surprised that they were.

"Aren't you some rich dead men. That'll teach you... pay for your girls. You never know when a girl will knife you for taking the cheap way." she dropped their wallets and walked off to the bar.

She asked for a few napkins and cleaned her blade under her cloak. She couldn't stand to see them dirty...

She got herself a bite to eat and got up from the table. She looked to the side of her and witnessed a brawl in the corner. Two men were beating on another man. She walked over and listend to see what the problem was.

"Listen, I paid you your money... what else do you want from me?"

"The rest of your money Jack-"

In a blink of an eye both men had daggers to their throats. She smiled at the man who was sitting down. "Maybe Gambling shouldn't be a past time of yours anymore."

The man looked up at her and nodded. "Thank you miss..." he said and ran out of the bar.

She turned the men around and stared at them. They were no push overs. "I'd hate to dirty my knife over a couple of guys like you."

"You Bit-"

"Watch your tongue or I'll cut it off for you." she said staring at him.

He looked at the other man and he grew afraid. She pushed the daggers closer and stared at them evenly.

"Don't cause anymore trouble..." she said. She waited a while before walking away, keeping a careful eye out for one of them to pull out a gun. But they didn't, and she left the bar.

She walked outside and tucked her daggers inside. So far, her day had been going unusually easier.

Isabelle lowered herself down the wall. Looking through a window, all she could see was darkness. Clambering near the window, Isabelle opened it and crept inside.

A slight glitter caught her attention. It was a bedroom that Isabelle had crept into and the occupants were fast asleep in their bed, ignorant of their unwelcome visitor. Another shimmer came from the mysterious object. Isabelle walked over to the glimmer and picked it up.

A diamond necklace presented itself in Isabelle's hands. Obviously these people were well-off. They wouldn't miss anything if it was gone. Isabelle picked up many other pieces of jewelery she was fond of and stashed them in her tight black body-suit. Her blonde hair was the only thing visible in the darkness. She opened the drawers underneath to find more jewelery and rare items stored carelessly. Feeling the need to take these, Isabelle stored them in a backpack she always took on any expedition. Her two short swords lay sheathed, strapped to her sides.

After she had collected all the jewels she could find, Isabelle walked downstairs and went out through the front door. A daring escapade but normal for Isabelle. She climbed up the fire ladder on the side of the bulding. Packing up her stuff, Isabelle climbed back down the ladder and disappeared into the night.

(OOC: Sorry I didn't really explain what I wanted)

Zack walked down the street, wary of his dark side, who had a horrible habit of jumping out at him when he least expected it. He kept one hand on his sword at all times, ready to unsheath it as soon as he saw trouble.

The sky was dark, and lightning crashed in the distance. This made Zack feel good. He felt at home in lightning storms. He felt the power of the lightning coursing through his body, like blood rushing through his veins. It replenished and refreshed him, giving him new strength.

There was a snarling sound from the alley next to Zack. He looked down, and saw a figure hunched over a woman, with a hand clamped over her mouth, stopping her from screaming. The figure was about to take a bite out of her, when Zack threw his sword. It thudded into the figure's shoulder, drawing his attention away from the woman and towards Zack.

"Ah, Zack," the figure said smoothly, standing up straight, "We have a strange habit of running into each other."

"You need to go now," replied Zack, drawing his other sword.

"You can't kill me, Zack. If you kill me, you'll die as well. I am part of you, don't forget that," said the demon.

"Well I can still hurt you!" he shouted in reply. He ran at the demon with his sword drawn, and swung. But the demon was no longer there. Zack cursed, and resheathed both his swords. He had to find the other elementals, or nothing could stop the demons. He looked at the woman. She was cowering in the corner. He helped her up, took her to the hospital and then they parted ways.

OOC: Okay, I'll be gone for a while, this is all I have at the moment.

IC:
Sam woke up at the sound of the clock in the courtyard.

?5:00? I slept in?? she said as she got out of bed. She usually slept on the statue near the town square, but because of her luck the night before, she was able to purchase better sleeping conditions. She took her shower and got dressed rather quickly. She was in no hurry, but she hated feeling vulnerable. She sat on the chair in her room as she brushed her hair. She looked at her blades and noticed they were teetering over the side of her night table. She thrust her hand out and used the wind to call them toward her. A giant gust of wind blew her window, causing her blades to be carried over to her where they landed in her hand. The wind slowly died down but not before it blew over her face and made her feel completely refreshed.

She looked outside of the window. Her mind wandered across the landscape. The night concealed many beauties found inside the town. She noticed that the day was brighter than before. She put her hood down and walked out her door. She went down to the clerk and paid her fee.

?Did you sleep well Miss??

?Better than the night before, thank you.? She said looking away as he printed her receipt.

?So where are you off to?? he asked. She looked at him oddly.

?What are you writing a book?? she said as she got her receipt and left.

She walked past the courtyard and stared at the clock. It was 7 already, and she was hungry. She walked over to the local market, and they were filling their baskets with apples and other fruits. She watched a while from a distance and then took notice of an elderly woman who was having a hard time with loading her baskets.

She walked over and smiled ever so sweetly. ?Here, let me help you with that ma?am.? She said as she lifted her box of breads and apples.

?Thank you miss, you?re far too kind.? The woman said with a smile.

?You can never be too kind to the elderly, I always say.? She said with a quick smile. As Sam left, she waved her hand slightly as two apples and a piece of bread came out of her basket and concealed themselves inside her jacket, which was now blowing in the wind.

She walked to the town square where she sat at one of the tables and pulled out her recent pickings. Not too far away she felt a cold chill come over her shoulder.

Behind you...

She jumped up from her chair and turned around swiftly.

"Thought you could surprise me, did you?"

"It doesn't hurt to try." she said. The dark mage stared at her, red eyes glossy, whip in hand.

"You know, you shouldn't just bring it out in the open so casually. You'll scare someone with that.

"That's the plan." she said eerily. She lunged forward and tried to strangle her with her weapon, but Sam had tangled with her once before. She dropped to her knees and sliced her abdomen, leaving gashes of black substance coming out of the demon above her.

She used her powers to throw her into the air, giving her time to stand back up. The woman screamed in frustration and fell to the ground. Sam ran toward her with both daggers in hand, but the demon disappeared in a whisk of smoke, leaving her stabbing down at nothing.

"Damn.... it's barely morning..." she said. She put her daggers back into their proper places and left. She hated that woman.... that... demon... it was so hard to figure out what to do about her.... all she knew... was that they were connected somehow... and it had something to do with the powers she held.

Jun walked wearly into the town. It was dark. Lightning lit up the sky and thunder shook the ground. His full body length black leather jacket flapped violently around in the warm winds. He didn't know the name of the town nor did he care to know it.

He had walked for days and needed somewhere to stay the night. Just until the morning.

Jun walked along the streets where he came to an abandoned building

'How nice...' he whispered into the wind. He walked in and looked around. Danger....something didn't feel right as his blue eyes scanned the dark...something was there...looking back at him..something....evil.

At that moment something jumped him from behind. Its claws easily ripped through his jacket and pierced his skin causing it to bleed. Saynes anger grew wild and his arms began glowing red. He reached over his head and grabbed the head of the creatures. Its head turned to fire within an instant. Jun spun around to see a demon clutching his head and screaming in pain. Jun drew his red sword and thrusted it into the chest of the demon who let out a high pitched scream then turned to ashes on the ground.

A deep growling caught his attention again as he spun around. Another demon jumped out at him from the darkness of the abandoned building. The beast slashed at Jun leaving two deep gashes across his chest, blood slowly seeped out from the wounds. The demon then attached itself to the wall and smiled at Jun hungrily as it licked the blood of its claws

'Hmmmm...fresh...' laughed the demon

'Burn in hell,' spoke Jun coldly as he set the old abandoned building alite at a great speed

'What!!....you little!!!......,' were the demons last words before being burned. Jun slowly walked from the blazing building and out onto the streets

'Dammit...there goes my bed,' whispered Jun as he carried on down the street, blood stained his clothes and jacket

OOC: Time to meet some people, LOL

It was around noon time and she sat at her usual spot. Not too far, a dispute was erupting. She kept her hood even closer to her face... she wasn't really wanting to get in the middle of anything.

"Are you just going to sit there as if you can't hear me?? I said you're sitting in my spot!!!"

The man seated did not even look up... he just leaned even further back into his chair.

"That's it, nobody ignores me and lives!!" he tried to pull the man up from the shirt collar, but the seated man grabbed his hand, held it and threw it away from him.

"DAMN IT!!" the man screamed. He looked down at his hand and it was burned completely. "What kind of freak are you???"

The man simply threw a lighter onto the table. "I don't listen to jackasses." he said threateningly, yet quietly.

The man rushed out of there to find something that would stop the burning. It was then when Sam realized he had powers... just like hers... it was odd... getting use to the fact that she had powers, but now she found another. Just how many people in this world had some sort of power?

She got up and sat down at the table the man was sitting at. She pulled off her cloak and stared at the man in front of her.

"I'd rather be alone."

"Sure you would. So would I, but I got some questions first."

"Can't guarantee I'll answer them." he said as he took his drink from the table. She noticed his jacket was covered in blood.

"Is that human blood? Because it doesn't smell like human blood." she said

He raised an eyebrow at her, but decided not to respond.

"That was some trick back there... funny how a lighter can burn so much. Did you suffer the same injuries?"

"What are you? Some kind of journalist?" he said.

"My questions will be answered first..." she said using the forces of the earth to pull the lighter over to her, making an obvious display of her powers. "Then I'll answer yours." she said letting a small smile crease her face as she played with the lighter.

Jun looked at the girl who sat across from him, and quickly took back his lighter.

'You have powers...so what,' spoke Jun coldly as he began flicking the lighter

The girl raised her eye brows at him

'You have the fire element,' she said, 'I have earth,'

'And...' he replied as he placed the lighter in his pocket

'Well dont you think its strange?' she questioned

'We are all strange in one way or the other,' spoke Jun slowly standing up from his chair, 'Now leave me alone,'

'I need to ask you something,' she said

'Do I look as though I care,' he growled as he began walking away at that moment Jun could see a man fighting a demon down an alley way..the demon then disappeared and the man walked out with a lady and they walked down the street

'you haven't answered my question!,' called the girl snapping Jun out of his curiousity

'Tell someone who cares..now leave me alone!!,' he snapped as fire burned in his eyes as he began to get annoyed with her.

"I've had enough of this little chit chat. I have things to go and do." he said as he ran out.

She stood up and ran after him, putting her cloak on. There was no light outside, and she had lost complete track of time. She looked and saw him walking across the courtyard. She wouldn't let him leave so easily. She wanted answers for what was going on with her... and she hoped to find them in him.

Just as she was about to catch up with him, she saw a shadow screech above her. She looked at him and used her powers to push him an instant 7 feet away. He hit the nearby wall and looked behind him in surprise. He saw her fighting a demon... but this one was different...

"Leave me alone, human, it's not you this time I'm after." she said.

"Get the hell out of here!"

"Oh stop talking so sweetly with me, honey." she said as her whip slashed Sam's face. Sam looked back at her and caught the second blow in time by raising her arm. The whip wrapped itself around her arm, and Sam pulled it out of her grasp. But before she knew it, the man was already up to this demon and had his hands over her neck. He was about to snap it when Sam screamed.

"Stop!!!" she said as she ran over to him and pushed him to the ground.

"What the-" he looked over to where the demon stood and she was gone.

"What the hell were you doing?" he said as he looked up at her. She was on top of him and felt instantly embarrassed. She sat up and looked back at where the demon had stood.

"She's my match... if she dies I die as well..." Sam said softly.

"What are you talking about...?" he said.

"You haven't met yours I take it?" she said. He slowly stood up and looked down at her.

"What are you talking about girl?"

Sam was quiet for a while. "You have the power of fire correct?"

He was silent, but he knew denying it would only delay him the answers he wanted. "Yes. What of it?"

"Because of that power... you have a seperate entity... I can't explain it... all I know... is that ones with powers... such as me... and you.... we have a... match... a demon that is linked to us in every way... you can't destroy it... or you will die as well. It's impossible to kill them... without killing yourself."

"Where did you learn all of this?"

"She explained it to me... the first time I met her, I came so close to killing her... but as I squeezed the life out of her... I felt life leaving me as well... it was... an incredible feeling... to be between life and death.... but near death I was... and I don't want to be that close to it again... she told me then why that was... as she mocked me... she said we humans have a pathetic will for life.... and it's our downfall..."

"Are you saying I have one... and I haven't met him yet?"

"Well, you obviously haven't killed him yet. Maybe you thought you did... or maybe you haven't met him... it seems unlikely, only because they follow their human forms everywhere... she's a constant burden of mine... and I have to stop her whenever she gets near..."

He helped her up to her feet and looked at her. "How long... have you known about your powers?"

She stared at the damage on her arm. "For as long as I can remember. My mother called it a gift to keep quiet..." she wiped the blood away and saw the welts forming along her arm. She walked over to the fountain and got her hankerchief wet as she laid it over the burning flesh.

"Whip from a demon can leave a nasty little mark." she said with a smile. "Where are you off to?"

Surprised by her statement, he wasn't sure what to tell her. "I don't know... yet, why?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "Just wondering." she looked back at him. "Want company?"

"I prefer to walk alone." he said.

"Same here, but things change." she said as she walked on with him.

"I don't like people following me." he said as he looked at her.

"Then consider me as your stalker, because I'm not easy to get rid of. And I'm Sam by the way. You'll be stuck with me for a while."

OOC: You people post too fast!

Beautiful rainbow sparkles came from the diamonds Isabelle had stolen the night before. She was bedazzled by the beauty of such a small thing. She twirled one small gem in between her forefinger and her thumb while she sat on a roof of a gigantic gothic cathedral.

?It?s so beautiful?? Isabelle whispered.

? So are you?? came a female voice from behind of Isabelle. Isabelle stashed away her loot and whirled around. A girl the same age as her, twirled her long-handled scythe sidled up to Isabelle.

? No?.not you?.? Isabelle whispered, a definite note of terror was in her voice. She scrambled backwards, her hands feeling that she couldn?t go backwards anymore unless she wanted to plummet to certain death below. The girl smiled ? she was wearing a dark red dress that spread out at her hips. She came face-to-face with Isabelle, her dark eyes sparkling mischievously.

? So?we meet again Isabelle?? the girl said, licking her lips. Isabelle looked down from the top of cathedral to the ground far below. She looked back at the girl who had placed a hand on Isabelle?s right shoulder.

? Go away?I don?t want to fight with you?? Isabelle stammered.
? But that is our destiny Isabelle,? the girl said and then kissed Isabelle. Isabelle sat there shocked and pulled away almost immediately. But as she pulled away, Isabelle fell over the side of the roof. She only just grabbed onto the gutter as she hung on for dear life. The girl stood up and smiled evilly.

? Oh Isabelle. You were too easy to defeat. I?m so disappointed.?

Isabelle looked down to the ground. Some people that cared to look up pointed to her as she dangled dangerously from the gutter. She looked back up at the girl.

? Isabelle, Isabelle, Isabelle. Should I step on your fingers one at a time or just end your misery, you weakling??

Isabelle closed her eyes and summoned her wind powers. She looked up at the girl who was buffeted by the newly arisen wind. ? Next time?? She let go and the gathering crowd gasped. Plummeting through the air, Isabelle was calm as she summoned her powers of the wind. Creating wings made of wind, Isabelle attached them to her shoulders and flew away. A great whoop came from the crowd below as Isabelle soared up to confront the girl. She smiled at the shocked face on the girl.

? We shall meet again,? Isabelle said as she soared away on her wings of wind.

Half an hour later?

Isabelle sat at a table in the far corner of a diner. Her interest was with two people at the other end of the room. She had seen the incident with the man and somehow, Isabelle sensed they were the same as her. Although, she didn?t have the courage to walk up to them, she observed them from a distance.

Zack fell to his knees and groaned. Pain shot through his head like fire. This could mean only one thing. Two elementals had met. He closed his eyes, and it felt like he was being rushed to where they were. They were seated in a diner, just off main street. There was another there as well, but she was not with the other two. Fire, Earth and Wind. He needed to be there.

He broke into a run as he headed towards the diner. He sped up, reaching full speed some three minutes after he had started. He was running through the town, taking shortcuts through back-alleys, and reached the street with the diner on it. He could see the diner. He was almost there.

Something smashed into his side suddenly, throwing him through the large glass window on the front of the diner. He landed on the table the Wind elemental was sitting at. She looked shocked as this man landed on her table, with broken glass strewn around the floor and table.

"I'm sorry," he said as he got up. He looked out of the window, and saw his demon standing in the street, cloaked in darkness, surrounded by other, less powerful demons.

"Zack! Come out here and fight me like a man!" the demon shouted.

Zack turned to the people seated in the diner, and said:

"Listen. I know there are three people in here who can help me. One with the power of Wind, one with the power of Earth and one with the power of Fire. I need your help. You know who you are." And with that he turned and jumped out of the diner towards his demon, drawing his swords.

(Hi everyone...Blayze has asked me to be the water element...I have a profile up if you all would like to see what my character is like and all)

''Ah...there we are. The city isn't too far off now...I can still feel them; please God let them still be there when I arrive.''

It was getting dark outside; a heavy downpour began as well...the waves rocking back and forth...all the local fishing boats were starting to head back to port.

A little girl was looking outside her fathers boat when she saw Lyon walking across the water.

''Look daddy Look!...a man is walking on the water daddy.''

''Oh sweety...come here...there's no one out...'' but he stopped...he too saw Lyon walking across the water, coming closer to the boat.

''It's the Lord Jesus Christ himself...please my Lord...take pitty on use for we humans do not know what we do.''

Lyon walked right up to the man...staring from the side of his boat. As the waters crashed against the boat...Lyon simply stood there...the water passing right through him as if he were on solid ground.

''I am no God sir...not to mention, I'm not the Christ which you believe me to be. You should take shelter...a storm is coming, for you and your daughters safty.''

''Ye ye y yes sir...right away."

The fishman started the engine and dissapeared into the mist rising above the sea.

''Now...to find the other chosen ones.''

OOC: Glad to have you here! Look forward to posting with you too :)

IC:

She heard the glass shattering from the diner they had come from.

"What was that?" she said looking at the man next to her. She still hadn't learned his name yet, and that bothered her.

He didn't say anything, the whole thing was confusing him.

"Damn it..." she said as she ran full speed toward the diner. He stared and decided to follow... he knew something important was up.

"What happened here?" Sam demanded as she looked around.

"A man was just thrown through the window... he didn't appear to be injured..."

Just then, a woman had got up and ran out the through the broken window. Sam ran toward her and tried tackling her to the ground. But something happened, where she was twisted through the wind and tossed to the ground.

She looked back up, and the woman didn't even turn around, she was too intent on running... she must know where the man who went through the window is...

Sam got up and pulled her blades out. She knew something was happening. Just then the man caught up with her. She looked at him and smiled.

"I think we found a third power... damn, just how many are out there?"

"They said the man that flew through the window asked for the powers of Wind, Earth and fire to join him..."

"Well then we better follow her." she said as she started to pick up the pace.

"It's Jun."

"What?" Sam said looking at him.

"My name... it's Jun." he said as he ran ahead of her. She smiled and ran after.

Zack stood facing the demons, both swords drawn. He could feel the others coming up behind him, but they were far away. He could tell they weren't going to get here before the battle started. He attempted to stall the demons.

"Why do you insist on following me everywhere? If you kill me, you'll die too!" he said to his dark side.

"I am merely observing your actions, so one day I will fight you. Perhaps in this life, perhaps in the afterlife, but I will fight you."

"But why?"

"Because it is our destiny to battle each other in a duel to the death. It is prophecised that we will fight, and only one of us will come out alive."

"How? If one of us dies, both of us die!"

"I know little about what is to come. All I know is that you are going to face a battle tonight! Go forth!" he shouted. The demons split, jumping at Zack from all directions. He moved into position, his swords ready in his hands. The first demon was close enough now. He swung his sword, slicing through the warm, soft flesh of the demon. He flipped backwards, kicking a demon behind him in the head. He landed and sliced the demon's head clean from its shoulders. They were going down easy enough, but they seemed to be multiplying. The more he killed, the more appeared to take their place.

Very soon, there were literally hundreds of them. They swarmed all over the walls and floor, turning the entire view in front of Zack black with evil. Red eyes shone through the darkness like piercing pinpricks.

He dropped his swords, and placed his hands together in front of his chest. He closed his eyes and lowered his head. Electricity sparked between his fingers, and grew. More and more sparks gathered, until there was a huge ball of lightning in his hand. He threw it towards the swarm of demons, and bolts of electricity arced out from the point of contact, destroying the demons swiftly. Each one dissolved like fluid as it died, bursting into tiny droplets of darkness which sank into the floor.

As suddenly as they had appeared, they were gone. Instead of the darkness, there were two people. The Fire and Earth Elementals. He picked up his swords calmly, ignoring their astonished looks.

"Hi. I'm Zack," he said perfectly calmly.

Sam couldn't say anything... she had never learned to use her powers like that.... only in defense.

But Jun didn't seem impressed or astonished. "I'm Jun." he said and looked at Sam.

"Oh, yeah.... I'm Samantha... um nice to meet you Zack."

"Where's the other element?" Zack said looking around.

"Right here... she said coming out from the side. "There were a couple over there that had gotten away." she said. She looked at the other two and her eyes met Sam's.

"Sorry for that.... hope I didn't hurt you too much."

"Well I was able to recover. I'm Sam... this is Jun... and you are?"

"Isabelle." she said cleaning her weapons

"Well now that we know everyone what now?"

"There's another element out there." Zack said.

"What?" Sam said looking at him irritatingly.

"The Element of water. Once he's found we can start."

"Start what???" Sam said exasperatingly.

"You really don't know, do you?" Zack said with a smile as he leaned back on one of the poles.

"There's a dark wizard out there named Kelthor. He lived centuries ago, and was granted eternal life by the dark gods. He lives today, and he has separated the good and bad halves of all the elementals. But in doing this, he also released his good and bad halves. The good half unlocked the potential power inside each of us, allowing us to access our powers. The bad half is somewhere else. I'm not sure where."

Zack was sitting in the wrecked diner, surrounded by the rest of the elementals, explaining their power.

"Now, we had the potential power because we are all descendants of Kelthor, brought into life because of an illegitimate, heretic affair Kelthor had when he was young. He hates to be reminded of this, so he wishes to destroy us all. He separated our good and bad halves so we would be easier to destroy. The bad halves some of you have met, but the good halves are more elusive. They are totally non-violent, and prefer to stay hidden rather than come out into the open. They will not harm another living being. Our duty is to recapture the good and bad halves of ourselves and imprison them forever. Only then can we stop ourselves from dying."

"Fine. So we find our other halves and kill them," said Jun.

"Not as easy as that," said Zack, shaking his head, "If we kill either half of ourselves, or anyone else does, then we will die as well. A person cannot live without a good or bad side. That thing you saw earlier was my demon. This is my angel."

As he said this, a beautiful figure floated gracefully through the window. He looked like Zack, except his hair was blond, and he wore a simple white hooded robe made of some sort of silky material. The other elementals gasped.

"Greetings. I am Zack's angel. I am here to help you in a non-violent capacity. Your angels can grant you certain powers, defensive ones, to help you through the hard times ahead," he said in a silky smooth, soft voice, "You must find your angel, and they will reveal to you how to capture your two halves."

''Such a strange place this is...'' the young monk thought to himself as he walked the street of the town.

People stared at him with his ''unique,'' but dull choice of clothing. With his staff in hand...Lyon gracefully walked the streets...leading himself closer and closer to the other Elementals.

''The world certainly got in a rush to get big.''

With nightfall coming...he looked up witnessing the brilliant lighting coming down from the tall buildings called skyscrapers. Lyon was in awe...all his life he grew in the simplicity of life. Growing up in the order...life wasn't so complex as this. He missed home...first time he had ever left the town. He missed his friends...the feeling of peace...but he missed the sea; the sea of his birth.

But this city...Lyon could feel the intensity of it all. The pace was so fast that it felt like your heart could explode. Despite how new and frightening it all was...he felt energized...the thrill of the unknown. The ambition for this quest was unbelievable. His teachers told him this day would come...he just couldn't believe it was here.

''Hey Kid''

''HHmmm...yes...who is it?''

Turning around...Lyon saw half a dozen, scruffy looking men...now beginning to surround him. Lyon didn't realize that he had drifted off the streets and into an ally close to the diner.

''Looks like we got ourselves a little pretty boy here fellas...lets have some fun.''

''Give us what ya got kid...or else your gonna get it.'' another grunt said...wirling around a knife.

''I'm sorry gentlemen...but I don't have what you call ''money'' or any valuables...please leave me alone...''

One of the gangmembers came up to his side and grabbed his left arm.
''I don't believe you...lets search im fellas.''

As like running water...Lyon's motion with his staff was quick and effective. Having his right hand gribbed in the center of the staff...he whirled it around his chest landinng a hard blow to the mans upper jaw...sending him flying.

''What the...''

''As I said...please...leave me alone...I do not have time for your foolish actions.''

''COME ON GUYS...LET GET IM!''

Doing some funky twirls and twists with his staff...Lyon got himself into position and attacked. Sliding his left hand down to the bottom of the staff...and his right in the middle; he swung again nailing one man in the neck...quickly turning to his backside...he delivered an uppercut swing into another abdominal area, leaving him breathless.

As another ran at him...Lyon ducked a slash of his knife and tripped him...sending his feet off the ground. Stand up...Lyon's staff came crashing down on the mans knees...shattering them to pieces. The leader stayed back as the last man came running straight at Lyon.

''Such foolishness.''

As quick as lightning...Lyon smacked him right on his forehead...knocking him out cold.

''I say again...please leave...I do not wish to hurt anymore innocent people.''

''The hell with you...'' at that moment the leader add pulled out a 9mm pistol.

''What is that?''

''What the hell is your problem man...this is a gun...and I'll fucking blow your head off if you don't give me your stuff.''

''Well I can't let you do that...'' placing his left hand forward...raindrops began to form into a single cohesive ball...the man was bewildered at the sight...he had completely forgotten about the gun.

Suddenly a strong water pulse came from Lyons palm...sending the guy flying...sliding across the wet pavement into the street ahead.

*sigh* ''That was meaningless...''

*moments later*

The bell to the diner began to ring as Lyon walked through the door.

''Is that him...the other Elemental?''

''Yes...'' Zack said...the Elemental of Water.

Isabelle looked at the man that had just walked through the door at the diner. He was dressed in monk clothes and looked extremely out of place.

Being a thief did things to your mind that normal people, if Isabelle was normal, weren't able to pick out. A thief's instinct.

Isabelle took out the small diamond that she had almost lost when Zack was thrown through the window and when Sam had tackled her. She flicked her blonde hair out of her eyes and didn't say much. She had used her powers against another elemental which she had no intention of letting them know she was one, but circumstances got the better of her.

" What are we to do now, now that we have all of the elementals here Zack?" Isabelle asked in her normal innocent, child-like tone.

OOC: Well shit!....LOL...I'm well and truely lost!!...lol...but....I'll find my way!

Jun lent back in his chair and gazed over at the water elemental.

'So we all have an angel....we all have a demon....damn...I well and truely missed that!,' he said raising a brow as they looked at him. At that moment Jun felt a slight tinglinh sensation.....something he felt when he was ready to be attacked. He quickly stood up from his chair and spun around only to see a figure flying towards him. Its eyes burning of red and its wings long and black , It crashed through the window with great speed and colided with Jun, lefting him up by his hands and pinning him hard to the wall

'At last......I have found you......I've missed you so many times,' smiled the demon, The demon looked exactly like him...but the tattos that appeared on him were blood red. 'Lets rumble,'

'...hn...,' growled Jun as he pushed the demon away, fire began to burn in Juns eyes and also in the demons

'JUN NO!!!,' called Zack as they all stood up from their chairs,

Fire ran up Juns arms as he drew his swords

'JUN!!,' called Zack again, 'You kill him you die too!,'

Jun looked at Zack but then the demon flew at Jun and lefted him up into the air. and smashed through the window. Jun looked down and realised that the demon had flown high into the sky.

'LET ME GO!!,' roared Jun as he drove his sword into the leg of the demon. Both let out a roar of pain and the demon dropped Jun.

Jun still in egony turned while falling. Clearing his mind he reached out his hands infront of him, a long stream of unharmful fire blazed out of his hands slowing him down, as his feet touched the ground he flipped over clutching his leg

'You'd kill me even if it kills you!!,' roared the demon as black blood oozed from its leg, 'It seems I underestimated you...we will meet again...and you know that thats a promise,'

The demon then vanished into the dark sky.

Jun slowly stood up from the ground, 'You can count on that...,' he whispered, Jun then turned to Zack

'What do we do now?' he questioned sounding pissed off

Sam went over to Jun and noticed the blood pouring from his leg. She pulled out her antidotes and handed him one. He looked at it as if not knowing what it was.

"It will stop the bleeding. If you're going to fight, you need to be in your top performance." she said.

He stared at her for a while, annoyed at the fact that she was right. He grabbed it out of her hand and began treating himself as he lent against the wall.

"They're obviously as strong as us Zack. How in the hell are we suppose to fight one of those things off? Let alone, stop them?"

"Now that we're together, we can stop them as a team." he said looking at them all.

Jun laughed menacingly to himself. Sam stared down at him and he just kept cleaning his wounds. "You really think we'd all make a good team? You don't even know me. Just because you have powers, doesn't make me inclined to help you." he said.

"Well then you'll die." Zack said staring at him. Jun stood up.

"Fine by me, was never good with crowds anyways." he said as he walked away. Sam looked at Zack and then Jun and ran after him.

"If I knew it was going to be this hard-" Zack began

"He'll be back." his angel said to him.

************

"Damn it Jun, where are you going?"

"Why in the hell do you care?" he said as he kept walking.

"Didn't you hear him? We need to work as a team to get rid of these things."

"I can handle myself. I always have and I always will."

"Yeah, well what about the rest of us? We need you Jun... we can't do this on our own."

"Well start figuring out how, because you're not getting any help from me!"

Sam pulled on his arm and he jolted backwards. "You're not leaving." she said staring at him angrily.

"And what makes you think I'd listen to you?" he replied cooly.

"I can give a crap if you listen to me, or anyone else. Bottom line, you're not leaving."

He tried to burn her hand, but she was quicker than that. She started an earthquake and he fell to the ground. She leaned down and stared at him fiercely.

"I'm not going to DIE because you're too stubborn to see the light. You'll help us, or I'll open this earth and have it swallow you whole right now."

"Your threats mean nothing to me." he said evenly looking up at her.

"It's not a threat... it's a promise. You're so hell bent on dying, then I'll quicken the pace for you." she said angrily looking at him.

He was silent, and angry... understandibly so...

"We need you, Jun... and I don't want to die. I'm not ready to." she said, tears forming in her eyes. She wasn't the kind of person to cry... not so easily... but she was so tired of everything. "If Zack says... our chances are greater with all of us together, then dammit, we need to BE together. Help us, and then you can live your life whatever way you want to." she said, her gaze never faultering.

He looked at her, the anger still there.... but not as much... he stood up slowly and stared at her firmly. Then he walked past her and went back to the group.

Jun stared coldly at Sam who looked at him, His rage was still burning brightly in his eyes. As they stood with a ground and gave Sam a slightly menacing smile.

She looked at him with her eye brows raised suddenly she was engulfed by a harmless ball of fire, she began screaming and trying to put it out

'STOP IT!!!,' she screamed suddenly the fire went out as fast as it had come and she quickly checked herself for any injuries but there was nothing. She then shot a glance at Jun, 'How dare you!!,'

'You to talk.' he whispered loud enough for her to hear him

'Will you two stop it!....Jun don't scare her like that and Sam don't use your abilities to stop those from making their own decisions. If Jun wants to leave he can,' spoke Zack, He then turned to Jun and looked at him

'Jun, we need everyones help please, we need all the elementals to stop those creatures,' said Zack

Jun shot a cold stare at Sam, '..hn...Ok, but as soon as this is over, I'm gone,'

'Ok,' smiled Zack

OOC: LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! I should have known, I could never teach you a lesson without getting something like that in return  What was I thinking? ;)

IC:
Sam glared at Jun as he looked at Zack. He avoided eye contact with her completely, and it annoyed her.

As Zack started talking, she could see the humor in his Jun's eyes. He was pleased with himself that he was able to scare her. She couldn't help but smile. He was an idiot... but at least he was finally able to see reason.

She would have to know more about this man. Something intrigued her. She wasn't sure what it was, if the feeling came from the fact that she wished she could strangle him, or if it came from the fact that he's just so difficult, he'd make a perfect challenge for her. Regardless, she wouldn't be leaving him alone anytime soon.

The group was back together just outside the diner, along with the newcomer. He said his name was Lyon. He was the water elemental.

"Well, as you've just seen, its easy enough to find your demon, but the first step we must take is to find our angels. Mine can help you with this, but you need to believe in yourself in order to find them," said Zack, "Lyon, I'll fill you in on the way."

"The way where?" asked Sam.

"The way to the temple where my angel was hiding. Its not too far from here, but its going to take a minute to get there."

Zack took a small black remote control out of his pocket and pressed a combination of buttons. The ground began to shake violently, and it cracked open, making a small opening, big enough for one person to get through at a time. It seemed to go nowhere, just being an empty black hole.

"Jump in," said Zack.

"No way," replied Jun, "We don't know where it goes."

"Fine. I'll go first," said Zack. He folded his arms over his chest and jumped into the hole. His angel guided the rest of them in, and then jumped in himself, closing the gap behind him.

They emerged in a huge underground temple, carved from stone. It had intricate carvings on the walls, and they seemed to glow whenever anyone moved near them. There seemed to be bright sunshine beaming in, even though they were surrounded on all sides by solid rock.

"Welcome to the temple. It has a training area, individual chambers, a place to cook food. Basically, it has everything we need," said Zack, "Now, I found my angel here, and he tells me that there's a good chance that at least some of your angels are down here too. So getcomfortable for tonight, and we can find them in the morning. You can each pick which chamber you want. They're easy enough to find when you get in. See you in the morning."

Immediately as Lyon entered the temple...he felt right back at home. The temple looked...even felt like his own back in Thailand.

But the encryptions within the temple walls were unknown to him...he took note of this and reminded himself to ask Zack later on.

''Zack...you said there was a training area...would there happen to be a pool somewhere around here?''

''Yes there is...why would you....silly me, you need water...yes....go down that corridor and take a left...you can miss it. But we should all find our quarters first.'' answered Zack.

''Alright...''

So after a heartful...*but long* tour by Zack to the other elementals. Everyone began choosing their quarters. The room didn't really matter to Lyon as he walked into the closest one too him inbetween the others as they themselves chose their rooms.

When he got in...there was a large king size bed in the room...with a bathroom and other furnature. For a temple...it was obviously well decorated. Probably reconstructed years ago by Zack's people.

''Not much for me to do here...'' realizing that he had only brought himself and his Komono.

''I might as well get to training.'' for Lyon was customed to do so everyday back at the order.

Leaving his quarters...he went from room to room where the others were staying and introduced himself personally to them all. Being polite...he shook there alls hands and said where he was going and went to the pool.

Thankfully...the pool was just outside the training area which had a weight room, punching bags...an arena...the usual stuff.

Through his years of training Lyon was in complete control of his powers. He and the order discovered them at the age of 5 when he held his breathe underwater at a local competition for a full day.

The monks were estatic as they finally brought him out of the sea. Unfortunately Lyon had never recieved his award for the monks attempts to hide his abilities. From that point in time...Lyon has mastered many areas of his elemental powers.

Walking up to the pool...then to the center...this time though he didn't walk on top of the water.

As his Komono began to get drenched...with his staff Lyon began doing motions with it...manipulating the waves around him to begin his training.

Jun stood there looking around. The temple was truely magnificent. He then looked across at Sam, frowned and then walked off to find himself a room. He found a room situated away from the others.

'..Hn...looks ok,' he spoke in a mere whisper. He opened the door and walked in. The room was huge and filled with many pictures to do with fire. The room was lit with wall mounted burners. The moons eerie light drifted in slowly through the windows and a soft breeze made the white ghost like curtains dance mesmerizingly. He walked over to the curtains and pulled them back, behind them was a door out onto a belcony. He opened the door and walked out, the view was even more spectacular then the temple. He then lent against the stone railing

'Jun....what are you doing here?' he spoke to himself, 'You're such a fool.....just don't sleep...you might burn the place down...'

There were many reasons why Jun didn't choose a room closer to the others....he maybe able to control his abilities well....but when he sleeps....all hell breaks loose.....his memories didn't mix to well with his nightmares......

Jun then walked back into his room and flopped back on the bed. He lay there for a moment just looking up at the ceiling. The place had a soothing calmness about it.....it was one place.....he actually liked and for him to like something.....that only came once in a blue moon.
