RPG Demons and Angels (M-VL)

''Hey...that hurts me inside...'' Lyon said jokingly as he placed a hand on Jun's shoulder as he leaned, looking into the fountain.

''Sorry...I just got carried away for a little bit there.'' answered Jun...still looking into the fountain.

''It made you feel better though...yes?''

''Yes.''

''Good...good...we're gonna need that intensity.'' Lyon set down his staff and leaned on his elbows...resting himself on the fountains rock wall.

''hhhmmm...I can only imagine what your feeling right now Jun. With everything thats been going on...I'm in quite a position myself. With Zack, our supposid leader now departed from us for the moment...I feel a need to take charge.''

With a deep sigh...the water which Jun was beginning to boil suddenly jumped up at him...Jun moved his head out of the way as the water descended back into the fountain...it looked like it was in the form of a dolphin.

Suddenly, a vast amount of little dolphins began to jump here and there throughout the entire pool.

''I'm not one to give out orders...or to lead. But I do feel that in order for this mission to prevail...we must stick together, to work with one another.''

''Understood...''

''I'm happy to hear that you have decided to stay with me Jun...I'm going to need your help. Your more important than you know.''

''And how is that...''

...hn...''Something that Sam can't quite grasp...I understand you better than you know Jun.''

''Really....how is that?''

''Well...I understand the fact that you have something different to offer to the group...as do all of us...I find you to be quite passionate.''

''...what...''

''Passion is a devotion to a certain set of standards. You...you feel yourself to be stronger alone...and nothing is wrong with that. The loner wanderer so to say...there is a certain honor in that...not just anyone could have the strength to live a like that. And with that passion...your manipulation of fire will become quite powerful.''

''...hhhmmm''

''We all have our own qualities...and Sam is just struggling with that with you...since she seems to be taken by you in a sense.''

''She must be mad at me, isn't she...''

''She'll get over it...she's one strong cookie...more than she gives off, I've seen it.''

They both looked out into the water for a moment...watching the dolphins continuing their little show.

''So how am I to find my angel Lyon.'' Jun finally asked...

''Just like how you found your demon...it will find you.''
''After you do find it...meet me outside the temple so we can search for Zack...I know something that'll make you feel better...we'll hunt the temple for any residing demons within...which will hopefully lead us too Zack. Hopefully the demon inside him wont leave himself unguarded...leading us straight to him.''

And with that...Lyon picked up his staff and walked away...as he got farther and farther away...the activity in the fountain died down.

''See ya later Lyon.''

''You too Jun...remember...meet us outside the temple once you find your angel.

***Moments later***

''Hello Sam...training I see.''

Sam was out in the middle of nowhere away from the temple, training with her swords on the caverns stone floor. She stopped to greet him...her breath heaving in and out.

''Hi Lyon...''

''How's it goin...''

''Oh you know...the same old stuff.'' she continued to pick up her training as they both continued to speak.

''I can only imagine what that ment.''

''God he makes me so mad...'' her blows into the air intensified.

*with a laugh* ''Yes...I can see that...''

She stopped again...catching her breath.

''What can I do...the guys impossible.''

''For starters...you wanna work on those powers of yours...?''

''Sure...''

Setting down his staff again...Lyon walked up to Sam and asked her to set down her weapons. As she did so...Lyon attempted to kick her in the face. She sensed it immidiately...and blocked it with her forearm.

''Good...very good...you know how you did that?''

''Reflexes...?''

''Yes...but primarily instincts. You don't know how you did it...you just did it. Its the same thing with your powers. You don't know how your doing it...you just do it.''

''Like how I destroyed those water elements attacking Jun?''

''Correct...you didn't have any training, and yet you were able to do it...but why? Because finally you were able to open your mind to your powers...believing that you could do anything...and you simply did it.''

''I understand...but I can't do it now...nothing comes to mind about how I actually did it.''

''Don't doubt yourself...your strong...thats without a doubt...but you gotta embrace the fact that your spirit is not only your own.''

''What...''

''With all us elementals...our spirits are part of something else as a whole. For Jun...his spirit lies within the flames, mine is with the seas, Zack with the power of lightning, Isabelle's is within the winds...as yours is with the spirit of Gaia.''

''Gaia?''

''An ancient term used for the spirit of the earth. A living thing that dwells within the earth itself...also known as Gaia. Regulating all the processes that the earth must undergo...you understand?''

''Yes...''

''Now...because your spirit is one with Gaia...all you have to do is call upon her powers. Believing that she will protect you.''
''Lets try this...I will come at you with all the strength within me with a vicious kick...I know you wont be able to block it with just yourself...so use Gaia.''

''But...''

''No buts...don't think you can...you know you can...here I come.''

As Lyon flew through the air...Sam raised her hands and created a rock barrier which protected herself from Lyons attack.

''Wow...''

''Excellent...now...see that rock over there...stand on it.''

Sam did so...standing on top of a flat surfaced stone rock.

''Now fly.''

''what?!''

''Fly...you control Gaia now...her spirit is part of all of earth...from the simplest grain of sand...to that of the mountains. Now levitate it...you could move that of plants and rocks...now move this as a moving platform.''

It took her a while...but in the end...she was able to have flight and flew all across the open field of sand...eventually coming back to Lyon standing there with his arms crossed.

''See...we all are capable of tremendous feets...as well as bringing valuable variables to this group. Jun has his passions and strength, you have your love and compassion...as well as the real Zack and his leadership and knowledge.''

''But...''

''We all are different people Sam...and I hope you come to understand that with Jun...he is a valued member of this team...as are you. I hope you both will be able to reconcil with one another and get over your differences. This battle with Zack and his demon wont be easy.''

''Ok.''

''We need to find Zack's angel as soon as possible...I see you've found yours already. Continue training if you wish...please...meet me and Jun at the entrance of the temple in an hour or so, so that we can begin our search for Zack. We'll continue to work on your powers as this quest goes on.''

With that...Lyon walked away, picking up his staff...heading for the gates to the temple.

Jun fell backwards onto the grass and looked up at the sky. He didn't really care if Sam was angry at him...he watched the clouds go by

'How am i suppose to find my angel!!...I didn't even know I had one..didn't even know I had a demon...OH HELL!!,' shouted Jun

[COLOR=DarkRed]Hell is only where I stay and follow you...you should really be asking for Satan[/COLOR] Came a familiar voice

Jun sat up and looked around, he then saw his demon standing by the fountain

'Now what do you want!,' snapped Jun as he flopped backwards, 'Your disturbing my thinking time,'

[COLOR=DarkRed]Your thinking time[/COLOR]. laughed the demon [COLOR=DarkRed]You think every second, every day...even when there are others around thats why you hardly notice whats going on around you until it hits you in the face...and even then you'd proberly still miss it![/COLOR]

'Shut up!,' grunted Jun, 'What do you want anyway!,'

The demon smiled demonically as he walked towards Jun. jun growing impatient to the silence the demon gave sat up, 'I said...' Jun began but was suddenly lifted off the ground by a whirlwind of fire

'What the!,' questioned Jun as he was thrown against the tree and held there by the flames that were black

[COLOR=DarkRed]Now now...I know you want this...its in your blood, you live to burn things...its a passion of yours....you feel it all the time...the flame that engulfs your heart.....you feel it..everytime you look at something it grows wild within you...temptation is such a burden[/COLOR]. smiled the demon as he placed his hadn over Juns face

Jun tried to break free but he couldn't, suddenly the tree behind him caught on fire, his mind began to throb, and he could feel a great power serge through him

Suddenly a flame shot down his throat....he could feel it in his stomach..he began to choak

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Let him go.[/COLOR] came an unfamiliar voice

[COLOR=DarkRed]No..[/COLOR] whispered the demon

[COLOR=DarkGreen]I said LET HIM GO!![/COLOR] the unfamiliar voice roared as a blue flame engulfed both Jun and the Demon. The demon screamed and clutched his head letting go of Jun who dropped to the ground. Clutching his stomach in pain as he coughed up black flames

[COLOR=DarkRed]You!...Osiris....you will pay for this.[/COLOR] Growled the demon as he disappeared

Jun was still coughing up the black flames when he felt a warm hand on his shoulder, quickly he drew his sword and spun around to find an light blue winged angel smiling at him, he wore only a dark blue pants, tattoos covered his chest and face exactly like Jun's Demon but they were light blue, his eyes were a deep sapphire blue and they glistened in the light. Jun slowly put his sword away as he coulghed a couple times.

'Who...are you?' questioned Jun as he stood up

[COLOR=DarkGreen]I am Osiris..your angel and your demon's name is Lucifer[/COLOR] Spoke the angel

'What???...Lucifer!...but...lucifer is.....' stuttered Jun

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Yes he is, the Devil, he maybe the king of the underworld...but he is also your demon.....he lives only through you..because of your gift..fire...you are both attached and bonded to each other and it is the same for you and I[/COLOR]. explained Osiris

'But...Lucifer was made long before me!!...how can Lucifer be my damn Demon!,' questioned Jun as he sat down by the fountain

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Although that is whats written, Lucifer was a myth...but now...he lives and although he rules the underworld...there is a far greater power amoungst us....The demon who has taken Zack[/COLOR] Spoke Osiris

Jun then remembered what Lyon had said. He then grabbed Osiris's wing and pulled him towards the temple

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Ouch!..do you not realise that that hurts![/COLOR] said Osiris as Jun let go and Osiris rubbed his wing

'I'm well aware of that, but we need to hurry,' Said Jun

[COLOR=DarkGreen]And I am aware of that[/COLOR]. replied Osiris

'Well then come on,' said Jun as he continued to walk, 'Lyon said that once I've found you I have to meet him at the entrance,'

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Since when did you care?[/COLOR] questioned Osiris as he flew up beside Jun

'..Hn....since the day I found out about that demon,' growled Jun

As he ran to the entrance and found Lyon.

'I see you've found your angel,' smiled Lyon as Jun stopped beside him and the angel stood behind Jun, both of them at the same time folded their arms as if it was normal to have an angel

Lyon laughed.

'Osiris this is Lyon,' said Jun looking at the entrance door

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Pleased to meet you.[/COLOR] bowed Osiris

'Pleased to meet you too,' smiled Lyon, 'Jun..he's much more friendlier than you,'

Jun looked at Lyon with a brow raised as the angel laughed

[Blayze]

"Show yourself to me, Kelthor," said Zack. The sky turned black again, and a bolt of purple lightning shot from the sky, and hit the ground in front of Zack. Kelthor appeared as the light dissipated.

"Ah, Zack, this has gone exactly the way I had planned," gloated Kelthor, "You have merged with your demon, and you will destroy your angel next time you see him. You will die soon, Zack."

Zack knelt in front of his true master.

"Kelthor. I do not wish to die. I wish to dispose of those others I have brought together. I have already killed one, and there are only three others who can try to stop us. Why let me die now, when I can help you kill the others?"

"You make an interesting proposal, Zack. Very well. Go back to the others, and destroy them. You are far more powerful than they will ever be."

"Thank you, master," said Zack humbly. He got to his feet, and Kelthor disappeared again. Zack went back to the temple, and found the others training. Trying to improve their pathetic powers. It would not help them.

"Sam," he whispered, using the wind to send his voice to her, "You cannot improve your powers. You will always be a danger to the ones you love. Stop trying to control them, and they will help you."

She turned around, and Lyon asked her:

"What is it, Sam? Do you hear something?"

"I heard a voice. It sounded familiar, yet different. I don't know who it was."

"Then maybe it was Zack. Maybe he has found his way back to the light."

Zack took this opportunity to walk slowly out into the training area, into their view.

"Zack!" cried Sam, "What happened to you?"

"I think I captured my demon!"

"Really?" asked Lyon.

"No," replied Zack. He held his hands out and blasted lightning into all three of them, throwing them back against the walls. He laughed as they cried out in pain. He let them drop, and they fell to the floor, smoking.

"You can never defeat me and Kelthor together you fools!" he said. Lyon stood up, and folded his hands together. A sphere of water gathered between them, and he threw it at Zack, who simply batted it away with a hand glowing with electricity.

"Fool," he said, "Water cannot harm me." He threw lightning at Lyon, who was knocked out by the force of the blast.

Sam got shakily to her feet. She pressed her hand onto the ground, and the earth shook violently beneath Zack. He was thrown to the ground, where a jet of flame engulfed his body. He screamed in pain.

Jun was standing next to Sam, fire pouring from his hands, burning Zack.

"No, Jun!" shouted Sam, "Stop hurting him! He's our friend!"

"Oh, yeah? Would a friend do that to Lyon?"

"He's just not himself. Jun, stop it!"

"No!"

Sam threw Jun to the ground with a small quake, and the flame stopped coming. Zack got to his feet, his flesh almost burnt off by Jun's assault.

A flash of purple light came and went, and Kelthor stood there, in his fine armour. He turned to Zack, and clicked his fingers. Zack's flesh closed up, the burns healing rapidly. Then he turned to the others, and threw a ball of black energy into their midst. It grew, and enveloped them all in it's strangely sticky substance.

"You are all coming with me," said Kelthor. He snapped his fingers, and he, Zack, and the ball of energy disappeared, transported back to Kelthor's lair.

Kelthor sat in his throne, and Zack stood next to him, at his right hand side. The three elementals were suspended upside down in front of him.

"I am going to get you to kill your friends, Zack, as soon as they wake up. You know that, don't you?"

"I wouldn't have suspected any less from you, master."

"Excellent. Look, one of them's waking up now."

Sam was stirring. She had woken up first, and she would die first.

"Do what you must do, Zack," he said. Zack walked over to Sam, and raised his hands. He looked down at Sam with his cold black eyes, and winked, his eyes turning back to their original light blue. Sam looked confused, and started to panic as Zack's hands filled with electric energy. He was about to strike her down with the power of the storm, when he turned around and directed his full fury at Kelthor. The lightning struck Kelthor, who flew off his throne and was knocked out on the floor. Zack turned and cut the others down with his swords. He checked their vital signs. Jun was alright, but Lyon didn't have a pulse. Zack pointed a finger at his chest, and fired a small bolt of lightining into his heart. It jump-started it, and he was jolted back to life, gasping for air. Jun woke up gradually, and saw Zack, and backed away.

"Don't worry, Jun, it's me again," said Zack comfortingly. Jun looked in his eyes, and said:

"Good. It is you."

But then, Kelthor arose, flying into the air, surrounded by an aura of dark energy. His eyes were blazing with rage.

"You shall all die tonight!" he shouted, and fired a massive beam of dark energy at the group...

OOC: lol, Heero isn't going to be happy seeing my character knock him to the ground, yet AGAIN, lol

Kelthor through the energy at all of them, but they all moved out of the way. Sam ran over to Kelthor, withdrew her weapons and attacked.

"Not so fast little girl." he said as he pushed the weapons out of her grasp. Sam was surprised at how quickly he unarmed her, and it was the surprise that got her. He engulfed her in energy as he used her as a shield and fought the rest of them.

"Sam use your powers!! Get out of there!!!"

"I don't know how!!!!!!!" she screamed as she fought the invisible barriers that held her down. She was in a crouched position in front of Kelthor, and none of the others could attack with her in the way.

She tried as hard as she could to summon her powers, but she was too weak to summon any massive energy from the ground. She screamed in frustration as she tried to move away, but she couldn't.

Zack on the otherhand was focused on one thing... and that was to defeat Kelthor. He flung energy at Kelthor, missing Sam by inches.

"What are you doing??? You're going to get her killed, Zack!" Lyon said as he fought.

"We need to get rid of Kelthor!!!" Zack said as he kept fighting.

Jun looked at Lyon and then Zack. "He's going to kill her if he keeps this up." he said with no emotion in his voice.

Lyon nodded and flung his attacks on Zack to get him down. Kelthor began laughing and taunting them all.

"Looks as if Zack has a temper... is he really a value to your team?"

"All of the elementalists are." Lyon said challengingly to Kelthor.

"Even ones as weak as this one?"

Sam could barely hear anything inside of the energy. She only saw faces... faces filled with pity.... she hated pity.

"I'll take her with me, just so you all can have your fun." Kelthor said as he and the energy with Sam disappeared.

"SAM!!!" Lyon cried out. Jun stood there unmoving and shocked. He looked back at Zack and he was staggering to his feet.

"Where is he??????" he said as he gripped Zack's collar.

"I don't know where Kelthor resides..." he said hoarsely. He was struggling with the demon inside of him, desperately trying to keep control... he had become the person he never wanted to be.... and he had to fight it.

Jun dropped him to the ground and looked at Lyon. "We need to get her back." he said.

"I agree... she's in a fragile state... and Kelthor knows this... he's going to use that against her. And she will turn."

"I don't believe that for one second." Jun said turning around and picked up a tired looking Zack.

"Regardless of what you believe, Sam will have to turn or die."

"That's why we need to get to her." Jun said. He looked at Zack, and his blue eyes were distant.

"We need to find his angel first... we need to get that demon out of him. He's struggling with it, and it will soon destroy the Zack we know." Lyon said.

"She could DIE in that amount of time!! Are you really going to risk that??" Jun said frustratingly.

Lyon just looked at Jun, he didn't know what to say.

Sam woke up in a room with no windows.... or lights. Everything around her was dark. She got up and walked around, searching for a door.

"You're weak, Samantha..."

Sam looked around to see where that voice came from. But she couldn't see anything in the darkness around her. She felt a cold hand on her shoulder and she jumped as she turned around.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"I want you to merge with your demon... you're not that different from her you know..."

"No..." she said angrily. She couldn't make out the features of the face, but she knew it was Kelthor. She walked away and sat down.

"You're the weakest one, Samantha.... but you could be stronger."

"I won't help you." she said evenly without turning around. He turned her around to face him and slapped her face.

"You won't have a choice my dear... but for the time being.... I will give you the option to come willingly, or forcefully... you can choose, but choose truthfully." he said with a laugh. "I know when someone is lying..." he said as he stroked her face.

"Bastard..." she said staring at him

"Maybe... but I've got the upperhand. You can be a pawn of theirs... or you can be my ally. They only wanted you for your powers... it had nothing to do with you."

She shook silently as she stood there. Her thoughts went to Jun for some reason... a reason that made her stronger...

"He doesn't care about you dear.... not in the way I do."

"Hell..." she said as she turned away from him and walked away. She folded her arms... could he read her thoughts?

"He hates you.... surely you've seen that."

Sam was silent as she sat on a chair in the room. Tears fell from her cheeks... she just wanted to go home...

"You'll soon see... they won't find you... or rescue you.... and even if by some miracle they do... you'll never belong with them." he said as he carressed her shoulder one more time before leaving. She shuddered and hugged herself in fear.... she hated him.... for making her second guess herself...

"You belong with me, Samantha... you'll see soon enough." he left her there and she cried in the darkness... she was confused... hurt... and scared at how tempting his offer was to her...

OOC: Hopefully this will still work out. I've got some other things I'm wanting to do with my character, so I'm not sure if a rescue needs to be urgent or whatever... I'll let all of you decide that... but I've got some stuff to keep her busy.... you all can try to cleanse Zack if you want. Again, it's up to you all :)

(Blayze...if were going by the power of elements...Lightning cannot hurt water...it actually contains the electricity within its molecules leaving it unharmed. Anything else within that water is killed. So...if I hit you with water...your made of pure electricity right...well...you get the picture, but thats beside the point:) Just playing around)

Jun was right...they needed a way to find Sam...and fast. Lyon started to get a little upset...first Isabelles death, Zack then betraying the team, and now Sam being takin hostage in their place. His eye started to twitch...trying to contain the anger building within him. Being away from the manor was breaking his years of meditation...those things didn't matter in the real world, only in a fantasy world...a dream.

''Now!'' yelled Lyon as he grabbed Zack from his collar and lifted him into the air...ramming him into the wall.

''Lyon...what are you?''

''Shut up...I don't know what the hell you are doing Zack...whether your a demon or not at this moment. All I want to know is where they have taken Sam...and don't tell me you don't know or I'll hand you over to Jun.''

Jun got the message...and drew his weapon...holding it inches away from Zacks neck as it burst into flame.

''Should I gut him first...or make it quick Lyon.'' Jun asked sadistily...trying to scare Zack into submission.

''That demon inside you knows where Kelthor is hiding...he's been working for him the entire time. So he must know...come now Zack...if you really do have control of your demon within you...then tell us. How do we know that you wont betray us again.''

''You have to believe me Lyon...I did it in the best interests of the team to kill the enemy.''

''AND YOUR FAILED!...how dare you endanger the lives of your teamates without telling us of your plan. And because of you...Kelthor has escaped...taking Sam with him doing who knows what.''

''Tell us now Zack...or you'll be finding yourself without a head.'' as Jun slowly brought the flaming blade closer to his face.

''ALRIGHT!...I'll tell you where...I can...I can create a portal to his castle with my dark energy.''

''Then do it.'' Lyon pressing Zack harder into the chest.

Stretching forth his arm...Zack created a massive portal at the center of the room. From the edges of the dark void....electric bolts of energy shot out from it...trying to stabalize itself.

''Thank you demon...now you must leave.''

''What...?''

''Now!''

Decending from the stone ceiling above their heads...a small opening emerged exposing the dark sky as a bright light of lightning came down upon Zack...Jun backed away...but Lyon stood firm...holding Zack still, absorbing the lightning into his body.

''Nooooooo...'' cried the demon as it came forth from Zack's body into its true form.

Zack collapsed onto the ground from the exchange as the demon looked towards Lyon.

''How did you do that?''

''Easy...Zack's angel was able to tear you out with a bolt of pure, good energy. And you can't survive such an attack from your other...so you were forced to come out of Zack. Even if he had control of you for a time...we don't want the likes of you dwelling within our friend.''

''Curse you...''

''Whatever...now run...you can't take on all 3 of us at once.''

And with that...the demon vanished into the darkness.

''I thought you didn't know where Zack's angel was?'' asked Jun as the two of them helped Zack too his feet.

''I didn't know...till Zack zapped me with his electrical charge to wake me up. I knew through his thoughts that the angel never left Zack for a very long time...so i could only assume that it was near by.''

''Why...why did you do that Zack? I was more powerful than ever with my demon at my control...''

''No...you weren't...you thought you were...but do you really want to rely upon the powers of evil to defeat this enemy. Come now...we must find Sam...''

All three men walked up to the vortex...looking into the darkness...a realm that they did not know of.

Sam tried to summon her powers, but it was as if they were nowhere close to earth... the thought of being so far away scared her. She knew that couldn't be true.... it couldn't. But she felt completely helpless and alone in the darkness with no way to channel her powers.

"Are we sad?" her demon said.

"Leave me alone..."

"Isn't it funny.... in all the times you and I have fought, not once have you taken an interest in asking me my name."

"I'm sorry, getting to know you must have been the furthest thing from my mind."

"You know... you don't have to be such a bitch-"

"Why would I be anything BUT that?" she said turning toward her. "I have no reason to be cordial with you. Go away."

"You may sing a different tune when Kelthor gets through with you." she said. Sam didn't turn around. Her demon disappeared and Sam ran to the walls. There was no door... she hated this... She pounded on the walls to see if there was a hidden door. There had to be... there was no other way for Kelthor to get in and out....

She grabbed the only piece of furniture and threw it at a wall. The chair broke into many pieces, but the wall was still intact... without a dent or a scratch.

"Let me OUT OF HERE!" she screamed. She pounded the wall and kept kicking at it, trying to get someone to hear her. The darkness was beginning to wear on her. She was losing all sense of direction, and on the verge of going mad.

Just then a firm hand pulled her away from the wall and spun her around. She hit the form in front of her, but he pulled her closer. She knew it was him.... and she started shaking.

"Let go of me!!" she yelled as she kept trying to get out of his grasp, but he started laughing at her.

"You're so weak... how does it feel to dwell in darkness? Where everything around you is cold... and you have no conscious feeling of where you are? I like to imagine that death is like that... where feeling is numb, darkness surrounds you... must be hard knowing four family memebers have had to be in these conditions ever since you let them die..."

"They're dead! They don't know or feel anything!!!"

"And you know that how? Ever died before?" he said laughing at her.

"Let go.... I didn't kill them...."

"yes, but you were too weak to save them... with the power I could teach you, you can stop people from dying..."

She stared at him... she didn't belive him.

"You don't know what kind of power you possess. You can't begin to imagine it's full potential. But as long as you keep opposing me, I'll forever hold your powers, and use them for my own purposes... maybe even kill the other elementalists." he said. She could sense his smile.

"Please..... don't hurt them...."

"Why my dear, it's imparative that I kill them... they're trying to kill me!"

"Stop.... please.... don't hurt them...."

"You'll understand. I just have to give you more time." he said as he stroked her cheek once more. His contact made her turn away in anger.

"You wished to feel this from another... and he won't give that to you... will he?" he said tauntingly.

"I hate you..."

"Yes. you've made that clear. Maybe... maybe with him out of the way you won't have any loyalty to that group."

"Don't!!! Please.... don't do this...."

"He's a threat my dear... and threats should be disposed of as soon as possible."

Sam's anger got the better of her and she lunged at Kelthor, trying to strangle him. He punched her and she was thrown against the wall, clutching her stomach in pain. She tried to get up, but he put a massive energy force over her that left her crying in agony.

"We'll see how you do with these conditions... hopefully it will teach you something. And as for Jun... he will be our target... and then you'll be free of him forever.

He turned and left, and she shook as the energy sent triggers to her muscles, making them spasm, and tense up. She screamed in pain and cursed at Kelthor. Tears streamed down her cheeks as the torture didn't let up. She didn't want anything to happen to the others... and especially not Jun.

"Send your demons out, and make sure they do their job Poseidon... I want Jun brought here alive."

"I will master... but my counterpart makes the job more difficult."

"Then bring along Lucifer, Jun's demon... make him draw Jun away from the group... I want him here. She needs to see him die in order for her to merge with her demon."

"Master, if Jun were to die, Lucifer would as well... would Lucifer cooperate under these conditions?"

"We only need the mistress to be angry.... to make it look as if Jun died. She needs to merge with her demon... and after that, Jun will merge with his own... they aren't much different... so merging him will be easy. But Lyon... we'll have to take him by force. Now do I say... and don't fail me this time!" Kelthor said angrily. Poseidon turned quickly and left with his group of demons.

"Zack was a fool to assemble all the elementalists... he only made my job easier." he said laughing.

"What if he finds his angel and his demon is removed?"

Kelthor was quiet. "We'll deal with that when the time comes... it's imperative that he doesn't find his angel..." he said as he walked away from Gayle.

"You will merge with her... if you want to live Gayle... because those who fail me... will end up paying with their lives in the end."

"Understood Master." the demon said as she left his presence.

Zack, Lyon and Jun stood facing the dark vortex, and stepped into it. They emerged in a strange realm they did not know. It was dark, and the walls seemed to move, as if they were alive. There seemed to be no light, so Jun conjured a fireball, which lit the way in front of them. Kelthor had to be around somewhere, which also meant that Sam should be as well.

They moved forward, and tried to avoid the demons crawling over the walls. There seemed to be literally thousands of them, and if they were killed then more would take their place, so it wasn't wise to confront them in a battle. Most likely, if they killed Kelthor, then the rest of the demons would fall.

Jun's fireball created very little light, so they could hardly see, but their vision was improving by the minute, adjusting to the new conditions. In the distance they could vaguely see a huge building, seemingly formed from the darkness of this realm itself. It was a hulking structure, all turrets and towers. That had to be where Kelthor resided.

They moved forward some more, and Jun's light began to fade. Lyon and Zack turned around, and saw that Jun was looking at the wall. They went back to him, and looked at the wall he was staring at. It had strange pictures drawn on in some kind of paint or ink. The pictures showed a group of people travelling through the darkness to discover the light. The people seemed to represent Lyon, Jun and Zack. They were each surrounded by an aura of their own element.

They moved on, and found an entrance to Kelthor's castle. It was heavily guarded, by at least twelve demons more powerful than the ones they had faced before. They needed to get in, but they didn't want to get into a battle. It was a tricky situation.

(OOC: Sorry it's so mind-numbingly awful, I just wanted to set the scene for where we are a little bit)

Sam stumbled as she searched for a way out. The energy had left her feeling tired... but she couldn't sleep... she pounded on a wall... but no one came. She fell to the ground and kept pounding on the door.

"No one will come for you..." she said.

Sam turned to the sound of the voice. Gayle walked over to her, her eyes glowing in the darkness.

"They don't care abou you Samantha..." she said tauntingly.

"They wouldn't leave me here..." she said turning back around.

Gayle walked over to her and grabbed her by the hair so her face would be staring at her. "They don't care about you. Nobody does... except for Kelthor..."

Sam sat there fighting the tears in her eyes. "You're all liars..." she whispered.

"Liars?" she laughed. "Liars, well aren't we the righteous little kitten."

"He does that just to taunt me... you're doing this because you're afraid of dying."

Gayle was silent and she threw Sam's head into the wall. "You think someone like me gives a damn about life?"

"You're selfish.... and you want what's best for you. If I die... so will you."

"Don't flatter yourself girl, I can surpass even death if I wanted to." she said laughing. Sam shook at the sound of her voice. She was tired.

"Maybe another visit from Kelthor will do you some good." she said as she disappeared. Sam got up frantically trying to listen for the entrance... she needed to know where Kelthor was coming from.

"Having some trouble dear?" he asked behind her. She shook as she slowly sat back down on the floor.

"Stay away from me...." she said. He lifted her to her feet to look at him, but she kept turning away from his face.

"You don't seem to grasp the situation here.... are you prepared to die, for people you barely know? For people... who don't care about you? Do you really wish to die, Samantha?"

Sam shook as she stared at the wall... everything... was confusing her.

"You're not weak.... not as they make you seem... you could be stronger... but only with me." he said as he stroked her cheek again.

She slowly turned to look at him... she still couldn't see his face.

"You know you need me..." he said. He was about to kiss her when she spat on his face.

"Bitch!!!" he screamed as he threw her against the wall again. He wiped the spit from his face and glared at her. She was trying to stand... but she was tired... and weak.

"You'll die... but not until the rest of them die infront of your eyes... just so you can see how useless you are." he said as he walked over to her. He lifted her by her throat and pinned her against the wall. "You are a danger to those you love... and you will always let them down." he said as he stared at her. She was gasping for air. He stroked her cheek again and laughed as he dropped her to the floor.

"We could have done well together." he said as he kicked her in the stomach and the head. He left and she just laid there on the floor. She hoped.... she would be dying soon. She only wanted.... to see them all one last time... to see him... she cried. She would have been happy just to hear him snap at her again... She clutched her stomach, as the pain inside deepend.

Lucifer suddenly flew from the castle of Kelthor.

After passing the paintings the three men in the shadows looking at the doorway to kelthors Castle...heavily guarded by powerful demons

'Ok..now what are we going to do?' questioned Jun his eyes heavily fixed on the demons

'We need to distract them...,' whispered Zack

'Anyone got a plan to do that?' Jun questioned again

'Jun you need to keep your voice low,' whispered Lyon

Jun looked at Lyon and then looked back at the demons, 'I can cause a diversion, while you two get into the castle,' spoke Jun

'but we have to stay together,' objected Lyon

'hey don't worry...I wont be too far behind,' Jun smiled sadisticly as he then took off towards the demons

'HEY DUMBARSES!!.....CARE TO PLAY WITH FIRE!,' smiled Jun as he drew his swords, both bursted into flames

'What the.....he's psycho!!,' exclaimed Lyon

'But.....he's creating a diverson...he'll catch up,' spoke Zack as they made a run for the door, and disappeared inside, Lyon looked at Jun before entering inside.

Jun laughed, the demons looked at him in confusion, suddenly he set them alite, and then ran at them, slashing his way through, the demons began to fight back even though engulfed in flame and all through that Jun kept laughing with every demon he cut down, one of them slashed him across the arm and jun sent a blazing fire ball towards that demon, it engulfed the demon and blew it apart, he then grabbed on to another by the head and sent flames through its eyes, blood rushined out as the demon screamed as it was burnt from the inside out.

Jun lent against his swords as he stuck them in the ground, at that moment a familiar feeling made his body tense, he then turned around to see Lucifer standing there

[COLOR=DarkRed]We meet again[/COLOR]. spoke Lucifer

Jun stood up and faced him and raised a brow. 'As if noone could see that coming,'

[COLOR=DarkRed]Sarcastic aren't we..[/COLOR] growled Lucifer

'What do you want?' growled Jun as he put away his swords

[COLOR=DarkRed]Only one thing...[/COLOR] smiled Lucifer, suddenly a huge flame shot up around Jun.

'two can play that game,' growled Jun as a red flame engulfed Lucifer who was laughing. Jun folded his arms across his chest. 'What are you playing at!,'

[COLOR=DarkRed]Oh this is no game..[/COLOR] hissed Lucifer, [COLOR=DarkRed]You see...if your flame goes out, we both die and if mine goes out....then...well...we die[/COLOR]

'What!...how?....You bastard!,' roared Jun

Jun stood there for a moment

Jun bursted out laughing, 'Well..I choose death,'

At that moment Jun began to let the walls fire walls around Lucifer down

[COLOR=DarkRed]NO YOU FOOL!![/COLOR]. roared Lucifer, at that moment Lucifer jumped at Jun, both the black and red flames merged together

'What are you doing!!,' yelled Jun as Lucifer latched onto him, as the flames merged so did they....Lucifer became transparent and slowly made phased through Jun

'NOOOO!!,' roared Jun as he blacked out and fell to the ground.

Jun awoke, his head spinning and his body throbbed. He slowly got up off the ground, Black and red flames flowed down his arms, he sat back on his knees and examined his hands, his shirt was burnt and torn and his chest hurt...he pulled back the tattered threads and it revealled the markings of Lucifer..black and red and engraved into his body

'Oh great..now how the hell am I meant to hide these from the others,' whispered Jun as he stood up, at that moment something behind him caught his eye...black feathers.. he looked over his shoulder..they were huge

[COLOR=DarkRed]They can retract back into your body...but its going to hurt.[/COLOR] spoke Lucifer from inside Jun. [COLOR=DarkRed]Just use your mind, I have no control over them[/COLOR]

Within a mere thought the wings disappeared inside Juns back, he let out a shrill cry as he fell to his knees

[COLOR=DarkRed]I told you.[/COLOR] whispered Lucifer. [COLOR=DarkRed]You'll get use to it[/COLOR]

Jun then stood up, 'and what about the markings?'

[COLOR=DarkRed]They are there to stay, my vest and cloak are there, use them..I must also warn you...you have to becareful with your anger....if you don't want anyone to know keep your anger supressed...or.........markings will appear across your forehead...and those will be hard to hide.....as I said...[/COLOR] Explained Lucifer until Jun cut him off

'Yes I know...i have to have strong will power,' Jun cut in. He then put on Lucifers black leather vest and black cloak, there were two slits in the back of the vest. Jun knew what they were for. He did up the red clip which held the cloak strapped to the vest.

'Ok, lets get back to the others...and heed my words Lucifer..i will not think twice about killing us if you try anything,' growled Jun

[COLOR=DarkRed]I have no control over your body Jun, only the evil does. all i want to do is to live.[/COLOR] spoke Lucifer

Jun then took off and ran to the door, he then passed through and ran until he caught up to the others.

They both looked at Jun in curiousity

'Why?...are you wearing those? and where'd you get them from?' questioned Lyon

'I found them...lets go,' spoke Jun as he looked at them with a deep frown

Sam awoke with Kelthor standing over her. She jumped back and stared back at him angrily.

"You ready?" he said. She could barely make out his smile in the darkness.

"Damn.... you...." was all she could say. She was slipping in and out of consciousness. The last thing she remembered was being pulled to Kelthor's level.

"You and I will learn to get along, very well..." he said as he kissed her forcefully. She tried to scream, but the drug they gave her made her lose all sense of self.

When she came to, it was as if she was blind... she couldn't see anything, everything was so bright... and her eyes were just adjusting to her surroundings.

"Don't fret my dear, your vision will return to you."

"Do not call me that..." she said hoarsely, remembering his words before she passed out.

"You will see, my dear just how much stronger you would be if you were at my side." he said smiling at her.

"I won't be at your side." she said evenly.'

"Then he will die." Kelthor said. He brought her to a screen where she saw Jun meeting up with the others. Sam's eyes were still adjusting, but she could make out Jun. Tears flowed from her eyes.... she wished she had died a long time ago.

"You can merge with your demon, Samantha... or you can decide to stay the way you are and be killed after you watch me as I kill Jun and his friends... one by one..." Kelthor said with a smile. She was crying.

"Make your choice... either way, you all are mine." he said.

Sam blinked again and was able to focus on Jun.... his face... made her smile. She wasn't sure why she was attached to this man... but something about him... made her believe in herself. She looked at Kelthor, and lunged at him one more time. She used the last strength she had to summon whatever power was there. Kelthor threw her across the room. Sam tried to get up, but she was too weak.... she was too weak to do anything.

"You've been a very naughty girl... and to imagine the fun we had just moments before coming here."

Her eyes widened at the thought of what he was referring to and blocked it out of her mind. She would have known... she would have remembered.... she clutched her stomach... and she began to feel sick.

At that moment, Zack, Lyon and Jun came in and saw Kelthor over Sam. The demons surrounded the three men as Kelthor laughed.

She looked to the side of her and smiled at Jun. "Thank you..." was all she said. She turned around, just as Kelthor picked her up by the hair and was about to pummel her body with the dark energy, She screamed in agony, and let her power run rampant. The power erupted, into a massive earthquake, the ground opening up and swallowing demons whole, closing and opening again, taking out the enemies that surrounded her. Kelthor dropped her and yelled in anger as he turned and left. Sam tried to get up, but she couldn't. The earthquake kept going and the screams from all the minions were heard as they were swallowed one by one. Jun ran over to Sam and picked her up as he ran out of the Castle. Lyon and Zack followed close behind.

"The Castle is collapsing..." She whispered. The others got the point and ran out of the castle. Zack and Lyon fought off the remaining demons as Jun laid her down on the ground gently. She was shaking from fatigue.

"Sam..." he said looking at her.

"I'm alright... I'll be fine..." she said with her eyes closed.

Jun didn't know what to do with her... she was cold.... he laid his hand on her and she jumped at his touch... but she felt the warmth and let it wrap around her like a blanket.

"Why did you thank me..." he said looking at her.

"You helped me...." she said.

"I don't understand.... I was with Lyon and Zack..."

"No.... just thinking about you... made me strong..." she whispered. He looked at her, and she was still shaking. He got up and returned to help the others.

Sam laid on the ground trying to gain control of herself... Everything was taking it's toll on her. The castle was destroyed.... but Kelthor escaped. Along with their demons... And something... inside of her kept trying to surface. but she kept it in... she wouldn't burden any of them with her problems... she would help them destroy Kelthor... and then she would leave... something inside of her was eating away at her.... but she refused to figure out what it was.. She got up slowly and stared at the broken Castle... she hated him.... more than anyone.... and she wanted the bastard to pay with his life. She kept herself collected.... and refused to cry.... to show signs of pain or fatigue. She was done being weak... and she swore never to be weak again.

Jun stood by Zack and Lyon as they looked upon the castle in ruins.

'Is she ok?' questioned Lyon

'Yeah,' replied Jun

'So..what are we to do now?' questioned Lyon

Zack looked at them. 'We'd have to track him down, he must be stopped,'

Jun gave a slight nod and went over to a tree away from the others. At that moment Osiris appeared..but this time only Jun could see him

[COLOR=DarkGreen]I know Lucifers in there Jun[/COLOR]. spoke Osiris

'Hush they will hear you..' whispered Jun

[COLOR=DarkGreen]It's ok...they can't hear or see me[/COLOR]. smiled Osiris

'What do I?....I can feel it..at that moments its just noticable...but what happens when it gets worse?' questioned Jun without any emotion in his eyes as he looked at the castle

[COLOR=DarkGreen]When that time comes..I will be there to help you...There is nothing anyone can do to fix it..not even I can, soon you will not beable to hear Lucifers voice...because he will become you...its going to be hard...harder than what you've ever come across in you whole life[/COLOR]. spoke Osiris

'But would we die?' questioned Jun still showing no signs of emotion or fear for it

[COLOR=DarkGreen]No, because he is you, if some how you are seperated...then we will die..and we can't have that, we want to live Jun[/COLOR]. replied Osiris

'can you not merge with me in the same way?' questioned Jun as he looked at Osiris

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Doing that will surely kill us..you have to accept it now and live with it...but in saying that...I will be right there with you...to the end and beyond[/COLOR] smiled Osiris

'And the evil?' whispered Jun with a deep frown and distance in his eyes

[COLOR=DarkGreen]That will always be there and it will grow...but I will be here to teach you how to control it and to live with it side by side...and it is going to be very difficult[/COLOR]. whispered Osiris

Jun gave Osiris a slight nod, 'Thank you,' he whispered loud enough so only Osiris could hear him.

Jun then walked slowly back to the others.

The Castle had finally collapsed. They were all standing at the wreckage. Sam just sat quietly against the tree.

"We need to take action. We sit for one moment, we give him the chance he's been waiting for." Zack said looking at Lyon. He nodded and walked over to Sam.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." she said. She kept her eyes focused and gathered the powers she now felt from the earth and let it revive her... she drew from the earth's power... making her strong again.

"What did he do in there?" he said quietly as he looked at her distant face.

"Lots of things Lyon... It's a good thing that place was destroyed." she said looking back at the area.

Lyon nodded and got up and walked to Zack and Jun. He talked quietly so she wouldn't hear.

"He did something to her..." Lyon said angrily.

"Did she merge with her demon??" Zack said.

"We would have known if she did." Lyon said.

Jun was quiet.

"She doesn't seem to want to talk to anyone, but we need to be extra gentle with her..." he said as he looked at Zack but especially Jun.

"She doesn't need cold treatment either." he said keeping an eye on Jun, but Jun didn't seem bothered by the warning.

"So when, then, do we look for Kelthor?"

"When she's ready..." Zack said.

"I'm ready now." she said from where she was sitting. She had heard everything they were saying. She stood up and was determined not to fall over. She leaned against the tree for support. She didn't have her weapons anymore... they were destroyed in the castle... where ever he had kept them. She walked slowly to the others, trying not to look at their face.... she hated pity.... she hated pity with a passion. Pity was for the weak.... and she wouldn't be weak anymore. The only one who did not look that way was Jun. She smiled slightly and nodded to the group, letting them know she was ready.

"Alright... we'll go..." Lyon said. He knew they would need to take stops for her.... but she was trying her best, and he would not hinder her attempts... he was afraid that would be the worst course of action.

The four elementals finally left the castle...and began to walk...to where they did not know. All of them began to climb a relatively steep hill.

Lyon was the first to get to the top...when he looked out at the few and became distraught.

''Everyone...I think we have a problem.''

''What...what is it?'' replied Jun...as he got to the top with Lyon. When he looked out at the view as well...he knew right away what Lyon ment. Everyone else got to the top...and took a look for themselves at the landscape.

''I don't think we're in Kansas anymore guys...'' replied Lyon. Everyone looked at him in a puzzled look; trying to contain their laughter.

''What...I heard that phrase one time in whats called a movie a long time ago.''

Zack came up from behind Lyon and slapped him on the back...
''You still got a lot to learn about this world my friend.'' Everyone in the group had a smile on their face...but ultimitly, Lyon was right.

The landscape which they looked upon was desolate and dead...dead forests, mountains of smoke...this wasn't home.

''What is this place...'' Jun asked.

Zack and Lyon both looked at each other and nodded....''I think we're not in our realm anymore.'' answered Zack.

''Apparently...when we all jumped into the portal to come save Samantha, we just didn't go to Kelthors castle...but to his demonic realm.'' added Lyon.

Jun had a look of discust on his face...''thats just great.''

''What do we do now Lyon?'' said Sam.

''Let us see if we can find any signs of civilization in this place.''

They walked for an entire day...but they found nothing. .

''Lyon...we need to stop and rest...Sam's starting to get tired...as well as I.''

''Ok Zack, lets set up camp on the outskirts of those woods over there.''

Jun was already starting up a fire while Zack went out into the woods to try and find some food. Sam was sitting on a log watching Jun work as Lyon walked off and took a moment to himself.

[I]I'm worried Misty...I don't know whom to trust right now. Has Sam fused with her demon in Kelthors castle...Zack has already touched his other...and Jun has been acting stranger as of late.[/I]

The angel sat next to Lyon on the ground and began to pet his hair.

[COLOR=Blue]Don't be so hard on yourself...you're doing your best.[/COLOR]

[I]But do they see that...our group seems so...disoriented...something is definitly working within us. [/I]

[COLOR=Blue]Do not let Kelthor manipulate your feelings Lyon...just be a friend to them...as you have been doing all this time. Everything will work out for itself...I promise. [/COLOR]

Sam went for a walk... she was tired.... very tired. She kept having flashbacks and memories of the things they did... [i]it could have been worse[/i]... she kept telling herself. [i]It could have been worse.[/i]

She leaned against the dead tree and closed her eyes. She kept remembering what he said... it didn't seem right. She knew it wasn't true... she would have remembered....

"You were not... he lied, just so he could scare you." she said.

Sam turned around and saw her angel. "Are you sure? Please... tell me you're sure..." she said.

Her angel smiled. "I'm sure... I know everything about you... you'll be fine. He didn't do anything like that to you. He was just trying to cause you more pain."

"Well thanks to you, he wasn't able to." Sam said with a smile.

Her angel touched her on the shoulder. "You'll be a target though...."

"Just like the others." Sam said looking at her. Sam didn't want to hear what she had to say.

"Yes... you are all targets." her angel said. Sam turned away and folded her arms across her chest. She didn't want to think about that anymore.

"Samantha... if you do not take heed to the danger you are in, you will not be able to take the proper precautions."

"I'm being careful. I'm not going back." she said as she hugged herself. She suddenly felt cold. "I'm not going back."

"It's good... to hear your loyalties are in the right place..." the angel said. Sam didn't look at her. She was shaking... it was cold...

"I didn't know people already doubted where my loyalties lie."

"Everyone is unsure... four elementalists are brought together, while united against one enemy, are not united as the group they should be."

"Well I want to kill that man... I don't see how that makes people wonder where my loyalties lie."

"That is where the danger comes in. Kelthor believes he has a hold over you... he will be back."

"Damn him... he never had a hold over me."

"You fear him now..."

"Everyone has fears..."

"Maybe so, but you have a habit of letting those fears take hold of you."

"I'm done talking with you." Sam said as she walked away.

"He also knows your weakness..." she said as Sam stopped. She turned around and glared at her angel.

"He knows that you care about him."

"As I do the rest of my group."

"He knows there's something different with him."

Sam turned back around and stared at the fire back where the camp was settled. "Then I can't let that happen."

"You need to heed these warnings..."

"No.... I can't let him be my weakness." she said as she walked away and back to the camp.

Several minutes later, Sam was warming herself by the fire. She heard soft whispers, and it was driving her crazy... she was agitated... mostly because of how tired she was.

Lyon and Jun came over to the fire. Lyon put a hand on Sam's shoulder. "You need your sleep."

"I'm fine....." she said. She was still shaking... it was cold.

Lyon nodded and sat across from her next to Zack. Jun was standing next to an old oak tree.

"What did they do to you in there?" Zack asked her. It was straight forward, but Sam hated people who asked anything less...

She stared at the fire still clutching her arms. "It was.... dark..." she said. She smiled.... how does that sound horrible??? What made it... so horrible? Was she being nothing but a child?

"What do you mean... dark?" he asked. Sam smiled a little. It wasn't funny... it was as if her emotions were in shock.

"You couldn't see the hand in front of your face.... there weren't any doors... or windows..."

"A panic room... an old form of torture, but effective." Lyon said staring at the flames as well.

"I had frequent visits from my demon... she said that we had to merge... but I refused... so she'd give me to Kelthor..." she said as her voice trailed off.

"What about Kelthor? What did he do?"

Sam shook. "I'm going for a walk... it's too cold here..." she said as she stood up.

"Sam, I don't think that's a good idea." Lyon said.

Sam looked over at Jun, but he was just staring at the flames...

"I'll be fine. I'm not weak..." she said as she turned away from the group and left.

"So she didn't merge with her demon..." Zack said.

"What made you think she did?" Jun asked.

"The difference in attitude I guess... but all of that is understandable."

"I don't think it's a good idea to ask her about it anymore... she'll come to us if she needs to."

"And what if she doesn't?" he asked.

Lyon looked at Jun and he was still staring at the flames... something was on his mind... but Lyon was no mind reader.

"Then we respect her decision in not telling us." he said.

Zack nodded. But Jun shook his head.

"And so she keeps it in... becoming easy prey for those who hunt her." Jun said as he closed his eyes.

Lyon and Zack sat there in silence not knowing what more to say.

Sam stood at the edge of the cliff. Her heart heaved... she was... scared.... but refusing to be at the same time. Her mind played tricks on her as she saw the dark shadows, or felt a hand on her shoulder when no one was there....

She closed her eyes and put her hands to her ears, trying to block out the taunts...

[color=darkred][i]"You're weak.... they only want you for your powers...."[/i][/color]

She screamed into the darkness as she fell to her knees.

[color=darkred][i]"He doesn't care about you dear.... not in the way I do."[/i][/color]

Her tears hit the dead earth as she screamed in frustration... in agony... she hated him.... she hated him for making her fear him... She wouldn't let him win.... she wouldn't let him take her... she wouldn't let him find a weakness in her... she wouldn't allow herself to have a weakness...

Zack was sitting at the top of the hill, woorying about Sam. He didn't know what she had gone through in the castle, but he knew it wasn't good. She had come out different, she had a strange new aspect to her personality. She seemed colder than before, more distant. He was worried.

Then, the ground began to shake. But it wasn't just the ground. It was the entire area, even the sky. This couldn't be good. Zack stood up, but was thrown to the ground as soon as he got to his feet. The sky swirled round, not just the clouds, but the entire sky. It turned into a vortex of dark energies, spewing black lightning everywhere. The ground cracked as well, deep red-coloured magma bursting out. A strange, winged creature flew down from the sky, holding a flaming sword. He floated gracefully down and landed on the ground. It turned out he was wearing blood-red armour, and had black hair, twisted roughly into spikes. His eyes glowed an unearthly red, like the colour of dying embers in a fire. His wings were white, almost shining in the darkness.

As soon as this figure's feet touched the ground, the quake stopped. He extinguished his flaming sword, and slid it back into it's sheath. He spoke, with a voice far too deep and rumbling for a man of his stature. It almost shook the earth as he spoke.

"Are you those searching for their angels and demons?" he asked.

"Yes," replied Zack, "And who might we be talking to?"

"I am the Herald. I only show myself at times of great danger to the universe. Kelthor has almost managed to merge with his demon and angel. If he manages this, this entire universe and many others besides will be destroyed. He was separated from his demon and angel by my people, to protect the cosmos. He was born with power far too great for this universe, and he had to be stopped immediately. We couldn't kill him, as this would alert humans to our prescence, but we could separate his good and evil sides, delaying his rise to power. The time for this has come, and you must be the ones who will stop it."

"How?" asked Jun.

"By destroying Kelthor's two halves, you can rid the cosmos of his evil. But you must destroy both halves, not just one. Are you prepared to take this risk?"

"I know I am, Herald," said Zack.

"As am I," said Lyon, bowing to the Herald.

"Jun? Are you up for it?" asked Zack.

"I guess so. But after this, I'm out of the game. For good."

"Fair enough," said Zack. He turned to the Herald and said:

"We accept."

"Hang on, Zack," said Lyon, "What about Sam? We need her say in this as well."

"That's true," said Zack, "Jun, can you go and fetch Sam?" Jun walked off, and came back a few moments later with Sam. The Herald repeated his offer, and they all turned to Sam to see if she would accept or reject his offer...

Sam sat there at the edge thinking about everything Kelthor had said. She didn't want to work with Kelthor... she hated him... but was he right? Was she a danger to the rest of the group? She didn't know how to use her powers, and she knew none of that would prove to be any good. She shook at the cold wind around her. She heard whispers, and then the ground shook. She wasn't sure what was going on. But all she could do was just close her eyes.

A few minutes later she felt a hand on her shoulder. She flipped out and grabbed the hand pulling him to the ground, drawing out a blade and put it to his throat. Jun looked at her in surprise, and anger.

She was equally as surprised, but not angry. She backed away and sat there looking at the ground. "What do you want...?"

"They want to see you." He said as he stood up. "You have a decision to make."

"What kind of decision?" she said evenly, not looking at him.

He brushed himself off. "To stay with the group or to leave."

She looked at him for a while and shook her head as she stared back over the cliff. "You wouldn't care either way, would you."

He stared at her and decided not to respond. But she knew his answer already. She got up and walked back to the camp, noticing the figure in the distance. She felt stupid... they should already know what she was wanting to do... why did they doubt her....

"Samantha, we need your answer."

She nodded, and Zack went up to her. "Are you sure, it's alright if you don't want-"

"I'm sure." she said coldly as she turned back around. Why did they doubt her... did they think she was weak? Or did they feel she would only be a danger to the group as well. She passed Jun without even looking at him. She was tired of attaching herself to people, only to be pushed away in the end...

She left them to talk to the man... she went over to where the fire was.... she was cold... she leant against the tree and closed her eyes.

Sam woke up to a sound near the cliff. She looked around and saw that Jun was nowhere in sight. She debated whether she should go... [i]no[/i] she thought.. [i]I won't let him be my weakness...[/i] she said. She closed her eyes, but kept thinking about him. It was driving her crazy. Lyon woke up shortly after she shuffled and looked at her.

"Trouble sleeping?"

"You can say that..."

He sat up and brushed himself off. "You know, if you ever need someone to talk to, we're all here for you."

"Yeah." she said not looking at him.

"You seem irritated with us... has someone done something wrong?" he asked.

She looked at him then and shook her head. "Why am I with you? Why do you have me around?" she asked.

"Because you're a value member of this group." he said looking at her puzzled.

"So, if I didn't have powers, would I still be wanted in this group? Or is that the only reason why I'm here?"

"Why are any of us here Sam? We're all joined together because of those powers we each hold."

"Yeah... well I can't use my powers as easily as the rest of you can. I'm not of any use to you here."

"So what are you saying Sam? Why do you stay?"

She hugged herself as she shivered. "Because I hate him... and I refuse to do what he wants."

He was silent for a while. She smiled. "Yes Lyon... my loyalties are here. You don't have to worry."

"It's not even that I worried, I just wish you were okay." he said looking at her.

She closed her eyes, not even caring about the tears. She sat there wanting to go for a walk, but she didn't want to see him.

"What has he done to you... to make you this way?" he asked.

She wiped the tears away. "I don't want to talk about it. It was nothing. People have gone through worse in their life. I'm not about to complain over a few bruises."

"Complain... Sam, you're a part of this team... we just want to help you."

"I'm not weak, Lyon, I can take care of myself."

"I never thought you were. But we're here for you because we are your friends."

"I don't want friends... I have no need for weaknesses."

"Friends aren't weaknesses Sam... they're strengths that you should hold dear."

"I'm endangering you all... I can't even use these damn powers!!!"

"In time you'll learn..."

"I'm tired of being here... I want to kill him... and leave... without looking back."

Lyon stared at her and he was starting to understand where all this coldness was coming from.

"Did he make you an offer?" he said.

"No... well... in a way...." she said as she shivered uncontrollably.

"Was it tempting..."

She said nothing. She could still feel him stroke her cheek. She kept rubbing her cheek trying to wipe his touch off of her.

"What was the offer?" he said trying to figure out what made her hate everyone now...

She was silent. She didn't want to answer the question...

"Sam?" he said looking at her.

"Just leave me alone..." she said quietly. He stared at her for a while and nodded. He stood up and walked past her. He put his hand on her shoulder and she jumped.

Surprised at her reaction, he forgot what he was going to say. "Get some sleep... we'll be going soon." he said as he went over to where Jun was standing.

[Heero Darkangel]

Jun really didn't give a damn about what Sam thought of him and he didn't have time for her stupid games although...he knew they weren't, all he was concerned about was what was happening inside of him...that's what was mostly on his mind and the fact that they were stuck in the Demonic Relm. He could feel Zack and Lyon looking at him occassionally...but wasn't bothered by it...they had good reason to..but...Jun didn't really know how to tell them.

Within his mind:

[COLOR=DarkRed]You can feel it can't you...i know you can[/COLOR]. spoke Lucifer

[COLOR=DarkRed]Shut up[/COLOR]. whispered Jun

At that moment I voice entered his mind

[COLOR=Red]Lucifer....[/COLOR] came the dark demonic voice of Kelthor.

Out of Mind:

Juns body tensed as he looked into the flames, his hands began to shake as the voice in his head became stronger.

[COLOR=Red]Come to me....[/COLOR] Kelthor called in Juns mind, [COLOR=Red]Lucifer...[/COLOR]

'No...,' whispered Jun out loud. Everyone looked at him

'Jun?....is everything....alright?' questioned Lyon as he looked at Zack

But Jun didn't hear him as the voice sounded mesmerising, suddenly there was a strong erge within him..an erge to go to Kelthor. Juns breathing became heavy as he tried to supress it...but the voice got stronger, sweat beads formed on his forehead and across his upper lip

'Jun...Jun whats wrong?' questioned Lyon with a deep concern in his voice, worried eyes gazed upon Jun

Jun bearly heard Lyon, 'I.....I just need...to...' he stuttered as the voice became stronger

Jun tried to stand up but instead he flipped over the log he sat on

'JUN!,' called Lyon as they were about to run over to him

'NO!......,' shouted Jun as he held out his hand to warn them off, '.....st..stay....there.......dont come near me...'

They stood there and looked at each other. At that moment Jun let out a roar of pain as he clutched his head...he then stood up forcefully and staggered over to a tree and lent against it, his whole body was shaking and it ached immensly, his back felt as though it was burning.....he then tore off his cloak while the others watched in horror, a tattoo on his left arm was glowing

'Jun?,' whispered Lyon

Jun slowly turned around, a tattoo engraved itself across Juns forehead and his eyes...the colour was completely gone and they were black with a thin ring of fire around the Irisi's, a pair of fangs then apeared in his mouth, something began glowing from under the vest

'Oh shit...' whispered Zack as they watched

[COLOR=Red]Come to me now!.[/COLOR] Kelthors voiced pounded inside Juns head, Jun roared again as he clutched his head in agony, the tattos began to burn under the vest, he then tore it off and revealled the tattoos. Zack and the others gasped at the sight.

The voice then became to overbearing as he let out another cry, his body lavitated off the ground as he became hunched over. Suddenly he flung his head back and the black wings tore out of his back as he roared louder

'OSIRIS!!!!,' he yelled as he fell to the ground in a heap, his body trembling violently, at that moment Osiris appeared

'What the hell!!,' shouted Zack

[COLOR=DarkGreen]It's ok[/COLOR]. whispered Osiris as he looked at the others as he walked towards Jun who was now curled up on the ground in agony, his wings wrapped around him

Osiris placed a hand on Juns forehead and put up a barrier so that he couldn't hear Kelthors voice but Jun had feel unconcious. Osiris then picked him up and carried him back beside the fire and put him down

'He's.....how?...' whispered Zack

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Yes he has merged with his demon...but not in the way you all think.....this transformation can't be reversed..it is permenant, he is still Jun though, his demon can't control him like how a merge would normally do the only thing that would control him..is the evil...but he knows who his allies are and who his foes are [/COLOR]. Explained Osiris

'So..he's stuck like that?' questioned Zack

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Yes...he just didn't know how to tell anyone[/COLOR]. smiled the angel as he sat down beside Jun who lay wrapped up in his wings

''This is starting to give me a headache.'' Lyon said as he knelt down beside Jun as he lay there on the ground curled up in a ball unconcious.

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Why is this?[/COLOR] asked Osiris...Sam and Zack were sitting next to the fire on the opposite side of Lyon and Jun. Deciding that it wasn't wise to continuing moving with Jun in his present condition...Zack had prepared another fire for them all, he even hunted down some food for them all from the woods behind them.

''I'm very...stressed right now.'' exclaimed Lyon; ''I don't know what to do...or say to them all anymore.''

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Why are you so distraught?[/COLOR]

''Jun lied to us...and Samantha is a wreck. Despite how kindly I spoke to her today...showing real friendship to her, she just doesn't get it. It feels like me and Zack are the only sane ones left around here...''

[COLOR=DarkGreen]You did your best....[/COLOR]

''Regardless...we should never have formed this group without coming to grasp these issues that people are having. These conflicts are slowing us down...as Kelthor grows stronger. I don't care if Jun has bonded with his demon perminitly, whether he's become stronger or not. This doesn't feel right...''

[COLOR=DarkGreen]I promise that I will keep Jun out of danger...I will teach him how to control Lucifer within him.[/COLOR]

''Good luck...because I'm starting to loss faith in everyone. Jun and Sam are just...foolish, so wrapped up in themselves...they think there hurting...but they can't see what they are doing to one another...to the rest of us. I just want to yell at them, to grow up...but...thats never the best course of action.''

[COLOR=DarkGreen]You're right...thats very wise...its not. You did your best for Sam...and hopefully she seems what you were trying to show her. Jun, give him time...and Zack is getting better everyday.[/COLOR]

The land looked so dead as Lyon walked across the plains...rounding around the woods...he came to a lake, or what was left of one, which was surrounded by trees. They were dead though...just withered leaves and dried up branches and earth. Hanging his legs over the side...Lyon began to cry.

Not because he was hurt...but because of how tired he was. Caring for everyone else as he was, it was emotionall draining. Part of him wanted nothing to do with these people...and to go back home. But he also wanted to be here....for no one else would. These were his friends...whether they saw or treated him one as well...

[COLOR=DarkRed]why don't you leave...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed]everyone else has been tainted...why don't you. It makes things so much easier for you...you're so strong Lyon...you don't need them...[/COLOR]

And just like that...the voices were gone.

[I]Misty...do we have a chance...do we have a chance at all of surviving this...[/I] Lyon speaking to his angel as he stared off into the mid-night sky.

[COLOR=Blue]You love them all...as I love you Lyon...something like that is never broken, nor fails. So yes...you all have a chance...a very high chance...just give it time. [/COLOR]

Sam sat there staring at Jun. He was still unconscious. She jumped when Zack put a hand on her shoulder.

"He'll be alright... his angel is taking care of him now." Zack said.

She nodded. She looked away. She was tired of feeling out of place. She looked at Lyon who had just come back to the group. He seemed just as worried about Jun as she was.

"I'm sorry..." Sam said looking down. Zack looked at her and so did Lyon. They were surprised by her words.

"I'm just... he said some things... and they affected me more than I should have let them.."

"What did he say to you?" Zack asked. She smiled. "It was nothing.... I don't know why it's bothering me so much."

"You said he made you an offer."

"Yeah... but it's the offer he would have made anyone... it just... bothered me." she said as she shifted a little. She looked at Jun again. He wasn't moving.

"Is he going to be alright?"

"I told you he would be, Sam." Zack said.

"Oh... right.." she said, feeling embarrassed. Zack smiled and gave her a slight hug.

"You'll be alright."

"We do want you here Sam... we always have. That's why we came back for you." Lyon said looking at her.

"I know... and I always knew that to be the case." she said.

"You're not weak Sam...." Zack said to her. "You destroyed his entire freaking Castle!!" he said.

She smiled. "I did... didn't I..."

Lyon laughed. "That wasn't a minor task either."

She laughed. "Well it left me feeling weak that's for sure..."

"An immense amount of power leaving one person is bound to leave you feeling fatigue..." Lyon said.

"Thank you.... I'm just... I'm still a little shooken up... but I'm glad I've got you guys backing me up..." she said.

"Yeah... we're here for you Sam... and we'll make him pay, I can promise you that." Zack said.

Sam nodded. Her friends were her allies... not her weakness... she looked at Jun again... and smiled.

[Heero Darkangel]

Jun stirred slightly as he opened his eyes, his eyes quickly focussed on the black feathers across his body, he then jumped from where he lay.

'OH SHIT!!,' he exclaimed as he tripped over a root that stuck out of the ground.

Osiris caught him before he hit the ground, everyone ran over to see if he was ok.

'Jun?....' questioned Zack

'I'm ok,' whispered Jun as he stood up, he then looked at them and he looked down at the ground

'Jun?...what happened?' questioned Lyon, 'Why didn't you tell us?..why'd you lie?'

'I didn't lie...I just didn't say anything about it, I didn't know how you'd all react,' explained Jun

Zack walked over to Jun and placed a hand on his shoulder, 'Are...you still one of us?'

Jun gave a slight nod, 'But as I said, after we've finished with all of this...I'm gone,'

Zack gave him a smile, 'Well at least your on our side,'

'Always,' whispered Jun

Jun then walked over to the side to look back at the shattered Castle

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Lyon's not doing so well[/COLOR]. spoke Osiris

'What do you mean?' questioned Jun

[COLOR=DarkGreen]He's takening everything very hard.[/COLOR] replied Osiris. [COLOR=DarkGreen]He says you and Sam should grow up.[/COLOR]

Jun looked at Osiris, 'Well he's not wrong....I don't want to play those stupid games anymore, we have to focuss on bringing down Kelthor,'

Osiris looked at Jun. [COLOR=DarkGreen]You are worried that you may hurt one of them.[/COLOR]

Jun looked down at the ground, 'I know that its going to be hard to keep the evil....under control......but I have to try...'

[COLOR=DarkGreen]And I will be there beside you...to the end..and beyond but just remember...Lyon, Zack and Sam...are your friends, you all need to work together..especially you.[/COLOR] Spoke Osiris

'I know,' whispered Jun, 'I know,'

Sam was a little shooken up by his sudden outburst. But as she stared at him with the others... she knew he was still there. She watched him as he talked with the others, not really knowing what to say. She decided to go for a walk.

She got up and left when Zack was talking to him and went over to the cliff she was at before. She smiled as she sat there, looking over the edge. For once, she wasn't feeling like an ousider.

She looked up and jumped when she saw his shadow... but she realized it was for real this time. She stood up quickly and stared at him.

"What do you want..." she said staring at him.

He smiled again. [COLOR=DarkRed][I]"You my dear... you're mine... and you know you are."[/I][/COLOR]

"I belong to no one Kelthor."

[I][COLOR=DarkRed]"You belong to me... and as long as I am in your mind, you won't be able to avoid it.... you can't stop thinking about me, can you?"[/COLOR][/I]

She stared at his face laughing back at her. "Get out of my head Kelthor..." she said angrily.

[I][COLOR=DarkRed]"I'll always be in you.... and I'll be waiting for you love. I know what it is you want... and what you need.... you'll understand soon...."[/COLOR] [/I] he said mockingly. Sam screamed as she picked up her blade and was about to stab the image, when it disappeared and Lyon caught her just before falling off the cliff. She looked at him and fell to the ground. She dropped her weapon and was on all fours staring at the ground. She shook.

"He appeared to you... didn't he..." Lyon said.

She cried. "I'm trying to get him out... but everytime I think I'm okay... he comes back into my mind... and says those things..."

He looked at her and helped her to her feet. "Come on... warm yourself by the fire." She folded her arms and tried to smile for the rest of them, but she was shaking again. She sat next to Jun who was standing next to the tree. His wings were gone. She looked up at him and stared.

"Do they hurt?" she asked.

He looked at her confused. "What?" he said.

"Your wings... do they hurt?"

He stared at her for a while and looked back at the fire. "Yes." was all he said.

She looked at the fire and tears came to her eyes. "That's why he needs to die." she said softly. Zack looked at Lyon at that moment, but Lyon was just looking at the fire, as if already in thought.

[Blayze]

They were woken the following morning by the Herald. He was standing in the middle of them, and he said:

"It is time. You must be moved to Kelthor's hiding place now. It is time for you to destroy him."

They all got up, and silently picked up their weapons. Zack turned to the Herald and said:

"Can I just have a few minutes before we leave?"

"Very well. But it can only be a few minutes, no more," replied the Herald.

Zack turned to the rest of the group. He smiled, and then said to them:

"We've been through a lot together. But I still feel I should know you better than I do. We've been through dimensions, and fought countless thousands of demons, and I feel that if I could get to know you all a lot better once this is over, I would feel much better. But we must part ways once this is over. Lyon, you must return to the monastery and protect the monks. Jun, I don't know where you need to go, but you must go there. Sam, you will have a family one day, and you must take care of them. But if we don't get out of this alive, I just want to say to you all that it has been a pleasure fighting alongside you, and I can't think of better people to die alongside. Now let's go beat Kelthor!"

The three others cheered, and the Herald nodded. He waved his hand, and a shimmering blue portal opened up in the air.

"I must warn you before you go through," he said, "Kelthor's new hiding place is even fouler than this dimension. There will be demons everywhere, and Kelthor's power will have increased greatly. He will be even harder to stop than before, and he will send each of your demons at you, unless you already have them as a part of you. It is a place of great danger, but I believe you can handle it. Good luck."

They jumped through the portal, and emerged in a dimension of complete darkness, which seemed to suck the light out of everything. There was an atmosphere which absorbed all the good emotions from people, replacing them with terrible nightmares.

They stood on top of a cliff, and looked down to a source of strange purple flashes. There was Kelthor, and his demon, with his angel strapped to a table. They watched as he attempted to merge with his two halves, but failed as he was flung away by a flash of white light from his angel. He landed heavily on the ground.

They turned and looked behind them, and saw thousands of demons charging towards them, surrounding them on all sides, trapping them on the cliff.

"I guess the only way is to fight our way to Kelthor," siad Zack, drawing his swords and wreathing them in electricity. He charged, and went into battle.

Sam slashed through the first wave of demons coming toward her. She looked in back of her, and saw Lyon and Zack doing the same. She had no clue where Jun went.

"Where's Jun??" she asked as she fought. Lyon and Zack looked around as they fought.

"I'm going to go look for him." she hollered.

"No Sam, you can't go alone!"

"I can handle this! I'll find him... just let me try to do this..."

Lyon finished his demons and went over to Sam. More were on the way.

"Sam, if we let you go by yourself, you'll be easy prey..." he said.

"But [i]he's[/i] out there alone... what if they get to him??" she asked. Lyon looked at her and then at Zack.

Zack walked over to her eyeing the crowd of demons coming toward them. "He may have fallen Sam... he may have lost the battle with his demon."

Sam stared at them both. "If we truly are a team, we wouldn't leave this all to chance."

"But you're going alone Sam, that's suicide!! Think with your head!!" Lyon said.

Sam stared at them and smiled. "I am... take care of these demons.... I'm off to go find Jun." she said as she ran off.

"That girl can be damn stubborn..." Zack said.

"And foolish." Lyon concluded.

"Still... she's got spunk." he said as they walked toward the shadows that crawled over the walls and floors to them.

"That she does." he said, as they lifted their swords and fought together to destroy the shroud before them.

[Blayze]

Zack sliced his way through the oncoming horde of demons, killing the first lines of them with ease. He was cutting a swathe through them, but then got bogged down in the fighting. Lyon was at his side, killing demons as well. But their hearts were filled with dread. What if Jun was dead? What if Sam was simply going to her death as well by trying to find him? How would this fight turn out?

Kelthor began to merge himself, but Zack saw this and threw one of his swords at the dark wizard. It struck him in the chest, but rebounded off his armour. It had slowed him down, though.

"Zack!" he shouted, "It's really you? I didn't think you would survive that separation from your demon. But here you are."

"Quiet Kelthor!" replied Zack, his face splattered with demon blood. He turned to Lyon and said:

"Do you think you can hold the line here, Lyon? Use your power to it's full extent. That is the only way you will be able to survive."

"I can hold the line, but I could use some help later on."

"Don't worry, it'll all be over by then," said Zack, as he leapt off the cliff and landed on the platform Kelthor was working on. He slashed at Kelthor but missed, and then Kelthor threw him to the ground with his dark magic. Zack dropped to the floor, groaning, his face bloodied and bruised.

"You will never be able to defeat me, Zack. You will die here tonight, whether your demon likes it or not!" shouted Kelthor, zapping Zack with dark lightning. Smoke rose from him.

He turned back to his demon and angel, and began once more to merge with them. Lyon was about to go down up on the cliff. Jun and Sam were nowhere to be seen. Zack was on the brink of unconsciousness. It looked like things were not going to go as well as they had hoped.

"Not looking so good for you, is it Zack?" said a voice in his ear. He opened his eyes and saw his demon standing over him, in a similarly bloodied condition to himself, but seemingly stronger and more resilient than himself.

"Shut up," Zack said weakly. He was about to close down, and let the pain go away, when a bright light floated through the air, out of nowhere, and tiny droplets of light sprinkled from it's bottom all over Zack. They seemed to re-energise him, give him new strength, and fill him with new hope. He got to his feet, and saw the light. He squinted, and saw that it was his angel. The angel winked at him, then disappeared.

His demon stood in front of him, fully healed from the angel's power as well. He laughed in Zack's face. Zack grabbed his arm, and concentrated hard on his demon. He merged with it once more, then called for his angel to come back. Then, he felt a strange jerking sensation in his stomach, and his demon came out again.

"How did you get out?" he asked.

"I'm too powerful to be held by the likes of you. My presence in this world has strengthened me, given me enough power to keep myself separate from you. You will never merge with me, Zack."

"Then I guess there's only one way to get rid of you, then."

"If you do that, you'll die too, Zack."

"That's something I'm prepared to do. I will die willingly to save my friends, something I wouldn't expect you to understand."

"Very well. If that is what you wish. But we will fight before we die, as we have been destined to do for centuries." The demon raised his jagged-edged longsword, and Zack took his swords, and they clashed.

(OOC: This RPG is almost at an end, as you will all know. I believe that I cannot prolong the storyline, otherwise it will get far too repetetive. After I have completed my DemonSlayer RPG, I will get around to making a second Demons and Angels RPG, which I hope you will all participate in, using your character from this one in mentoring positions. Anyway, any of you is welcome to get rid of Kelthor, but just don't get involved with my battle-I have big plans for the end of this RPG)

Lyon saw Zack fall to the ground in the battle with Kelthor...Lyon was doing all that he could do to fight off the demon hoard.

Poseidon was leading a massive army of demons behind him...coming closer and closer to Lyon. He was exhausted from the battle...all that stood between the demons and Zack and his demon was Lyon. He was badly wounded...his right shoulder was completely slashed open...he could barely hold onto his staff as he applied pressure with his left hand, bracing himself up against the staff so that he could stand.

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]It's over Lyon...admit it. All your efforts for yours friends have been in vain...just let it go. [/COLOR]

[I]You're right...I will let it go. [/I]

As the hoard came closer and closer to his position...Lyon slowly stood himself upright, holding his ground against the fear that rushed over him looking out at the army before him.

Switching from his right to left hand...Lyon began hitting the end of the staff upon the ground.

bang....bang....bang

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Why Lyon....why do you persist...why why why?[/COLOR] Poseidon was getting closer.

bang....bang.............Bang......BAng.....BANg!

The noise was getting loader....intensifying everytime Lyon hit the ground.

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]What do you think you're doing...the end is coming for you my friend. [/COLOR]

Now the noise turned into little earthquakes...growing more fierce with each beat.

BANg.......BANG....BANG BANG BANG BANG.

Lyon was hitting the ground much more rapidly now...the demon hoard became frightened as the ground beneath their feet began to shake, including Poseidon.

[I]Zack, Sam...Jun...I did my best. [/I]

Suddenly...directly in back of both Lyon, the massive demon army, as well as where Zack, his angel and Kelthor were standing...a great fissure was formed, water shot out of it creating 3 emormous walls of water which looked to go up at least a mile high; encasing all three groups.

Kelthor was in shock...as Zack and his demon prepared to do battle...Zack's angel suddenly rushed through the rushing waves and grabbed bout Zack and his demon out of the area.

[COLOR=Yellow]Now Lyon![/COLOR] the angel cried out.

Lyon stopped pounding on the ground...and simply stared at Poseidon and the demon army...with Kelthor just a few yards away in back of him.

''No more Games.....''

[I]And you all thought that the demon side was powerful enough to fuse with...[/I]

''Lets do it Misty...''

From the wall of water in back of Lyon...Misty emerged, who seemed to be flooting in mid-air. You could make out who she was...but her appearance was different. Her body looked transparant...able to see right through her.

[COLOR=Blue]We are one my love...[/COLOR]

Her body seemed to merge into his own....and at that moment...a burst of light shot out of him, surrounding his entire being. In only a moment...the transformation was complete...leaving a different being before them all. It was tall, with an eligant white robe and eligant blue hair coming down to its ankles. Lyon's staff had been replaced by a double-edged sword. The weapons appearance was marvelous....its two blades of a clear blue, like the oceans of his homeland of Thailand. With four beautiful white wings...Lyon took flight only a few feet off the ground.

[COLOR=Navy]This ends now...I will not have you endanger the lives of innocence anymore. Begon demons...I command you. [/COLOR]

[I][COLOR=Navy]I do this for you...my friends. [/COLOR][/I] as he uttered a small prayer.

[COLOR=Navy]Great Flood! Engulf them all into the depths of Hell! Seal them forever within the pits of this realm...for all Eternity![/COLOR]

With a final crash of his blade...Lyon shot into the direction of Kelthor as the wall behind the demon collapsed upon the armies of darkness. Every demon, including Poseidon was caught within the rush as they all began to be drained into the planets core.

Bursting through the wall...Lyon was going at an incredible speed towards Kelthor. Kelthor shot out as many dark energy blasts as he could...as damaged as Lyon was...it didn't matter to him anymore, he took the punishment and continued his foward advancement towards his enemy.

Weapon drawn...Lyon thrust the blade into Kelthors chest...right through the heart.

[COLOR=Navy]This is for Sam...for what you did to her you sick mother fucker.[/COLOR]

Plunging the blade further into his chest...Kelthor collapsed to his knees in agony as blood spattered across both Lyon and Kelthors faces.

[COLOR=Navy]That...is for Zack and Jun...for the pain that you have caused them...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed][I]How did it come to this...blast you boy...[/I][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Navy]And this...[/COLOR]

The other two walls began to collapse upon the rest of the group of demons, and around Lyon and Kelthor; as Lyon made his final act.

Pulling the blade out of Kelthor quickly...Lyon spun around and decapitated Kelthor with the opposite blade.

[COLOR=Navy]is for me...[/COLOR]

The force of the water falling upon the ground was intense. With Zack and his demon standing a good distance away from the war zone. He could see Lyon kill Kelthor before the wave fell upon his friend.

When it was finally over...there was nothing left on the surface. All the demons were gone...along with Kelthor's body...his demon and angel, and Lyon himself. Slowly...the three fissures began to close up...and seal themselves.
