RPG Demons and Angels (M-VL)

OOC: Oh HELL NO... I don't do suicide... I'll just have to figure out a different way.... hmm....

Sam ran as hard as she could; she wasn't sure where to go. She knew she had to find him.... she would never forgive herself for letting him out of her sights again.

She slowed time as she ran, causing everything to move slowly, she dodged the demons with excellent speed and listened to the whispers as she ran, letting them guide her to her goal.

She came to a cliff that had deteriorated, and the bridge was broken. She looked around her and crouched to one knee.

[i][color=darkred]You're Weak love...[/color][/i]

She closed her eyes and the demons ran toward her, with her back to them. Just as they were about to prey upon her, the rest of the cliff eroded, letting the demons fall into the earth below them. She raised the earth as she stood on it, and made it safely to the other side. Using her powers once again to slow time, she let the crags of earth follow her, killing and knocking all the demons behind her or in her way. The earth circled around her as she ran, creating a shield like defense. She stopped and looked up the side of her mountain, and caught sight of him upon the cliff. She destroyed the side of the mountain below her, killing all of the demons around.

Sam felt a jerk on her shoulder as she fell backwards onto the falling mountain.

"Going somewhere? He's a dead man, Sammy, there isn't a thing you can do about it."

Sam's eyes blazed as she stood up and fused her powers. The mountain collapsed around them.

"You fail to realize that I too have these powers."

"And you fail to realize yet Gayle that I'm your master... and you are only a part of me... one that will no longer live on this earth."

"Why you-"

"The Earth obeys one master, Gayle... and that is me." Suddenly, the rock masses from below entrapped Gayle as she tried to struggle free. Sam watched as she helplessly fought her coming doom.

"It's destiny... that we were BOTH to die!!!"

"I don't believe in fate." Sam said as she raised the rock mass with Gayle inside and thrusted her in the air. Her Angel appeared and took the oppurtunity. She merged with the demon, and exploded into a brilliant light, one that shone for only a few seconds. The light circled in the air and dropped straight into the earth, where the beings belonged... she looked up at where Jun had been and knew she didn't have time.... She slowed time just as the earth under her lifted her to the top, and then collapsed, leaving her on the small chasm, looking at a still Jun.

She found him staring at the dead demon in front of him. She walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder. He didn't turn.

?Jun... we need to go back to where the others are... they need us." Jun still wouldn't turn.

She backed away and was about to yell at him when her mind was invaded once more.

[color=darkred]He can't hear you... can he?[/color]

"No...." she said as she stared at Jun. Jun started laughing as he turned to look at her. His eyes were completely black.

"No... Jun... please no."

His voice changed as she heard him laugh again. Kelthor's voice came through his. "It was foolish for him to think that he could keep this wonderful secret from me. After I realized there was a merge, it didn't take me long to convert him."

She backed away, but there was a cliff.... she would use her powers.... if she needed to.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard him make a blood chilling cry as his wings departed from his skin, leaving blood falling from his back... he was a human... with a demon inside of him... he would die soon because of this merge.... it wasn't meant to be this long... their unity... wasn't meant to last long in the beginning.

"JUN!!! I know you can hear me... please.... fight them"

[COLOR=DarkRed]"It's too late!!!"[/COLOR] Kelthor said as he laughed at her. Jun walked closer to her, as Sam withdrew her weapons. Jun stared at her, his black eyes not faltering. He touched her hair and she felt weak....

[i]No.... it's not him.... it's not him....[/i] she kept telling herself.

[COLOR=DarkRed]"I told you I found your weakness..." [/COLOR] Kelthor said in her mind as he controlled Jun.

"Damn you... Kelthor... Damn you...." she said as Jun stroked her cheek. Tears formed in her eyes.

[i]Just kill him... it's not Jun... Jun is lost....[/i] she kept trying to convince herself. She stood there shakily with her weapons drawn, but not able to use them.

Jun's black eyes flickered once, and her heart stopped. [i]Was that Kelthor's doing? Was he trying to confuse her? Or is Jun... fighting?[/i]

He then kissed her deeply, and she shook at the touch... she had longed to feel this... but something wasn't right.... it was.... hurting her..... she felt it then, and pushed Jun away. Kelthor laughed as she fell to her knees.

[color=darkred]I told you that you were mine, Samantha....[/color]

Sam looked at her side and felt the dagger he had placed deep under her ribcage... she held the dagger, not removing it as she stared at Jun.... despite everything he was doing to her... she still wanted to save him... but her wound would make that difficult for her.

Jun stared at her, no longer laughing, eyes still flickering.

Sam closed her eyes as she pulled the dagger out of her side and flinched in pain, but not letting out a sound. She looked at Jun and he was still standing there.

"I know you're in there..." she said as she slowly stood up.

[color=darkred]He's gone you foolish bitch!!![/color] Kelthor screamed in her mind.

"Jun.... I know we haven't been on the best of terms.... but I want to change that.... I have cared for you... more than you'll ever know or even begin to realize."

"Back.... Away...." Jun said, his voice slightly distorted.

"You're not alone anymore.... neither of us are.... we need you with us Jun...." she said as she walked over to him, the blood pouring from her side.

Jun said nothing, but his eyes were flickering even more now...

"[i]I[/i] need you with me, Jun.... I will always help you fight your demons here.... and after... I don't want to lose you...." she said as she walked over to him.

He was shaking... she saw this... and the tears came down from her eyes... he wasn't her weakness... he was her future.

[color=darkred]Do you think you can turn him? You were never worth anything to him!!! He'll kill you Sam... because I'll tell him to... but most importantly... because he can give a DAMN about you!!!![/color]

Sam dropped her weapons and walked over to a shaking Jun. He raised his sword, but just as he did, she put her hand on his wrist and stared at him.

"I'm putting my life in your hands." she said as he held the sword even tighter. She looked up at him, and his black eyes shown at her... no longer flickering.

[color=darkred]Not a smart move Samantha, I thought there was hope for you.[/color]

She smiled weakly as she looked up at him. "There isn't any other way I would want to die..." she said as she kissed him fully and passionately. Time moved slowly for her... as she wished to let the last moments of her life last as long as they possibly could.

OOC: Well... hmm... Heero is it a good idea for me to let you go ahead and choose whether she lives or dies? ;) And please, no suicides either.... lol

(OOC: Nice one!)

Zack watched as Kelthor fell, and his work collapsed around him. The demons vanished, engulfed by a wave of pure white light as Kelthor's body burst with all it's power. They were all gone. Lyon was gone, probably dead. Jun and Sam were somewhere around. All the demons were gone, and so was Kelthor. All that was left was for Zack and his demon to fight. They faced each other, and swung. Their weapons clashed, sparks flying from them as they hit each other. Energy flew back and forth between the two warriors, their weapons clanging together as they struck each other. They were too evenly matched. Neither one could land a blow on the other.

"What is the point in this?" asked Zack, "We both know that we are both going to die in the end eventually! Why battle each other so fiercely?"

"We have been destined to figth for centuries, and this is the way it must be. We are the two who must fight, and we both must die, for the future to continue."

"What do you mean?"

"Those engravings you saw on the walls in the demon dimension were a sign. They showed that which is and that which will become. We together hold the balance of this dimension. We must uphold the prophecy, or the timestream will unravel."

"And what does the prophecy say will happen to us?"

"I do not know the full extent of it, but I know that we fight, and we will both die, but there is something more that will happen after that. Something strange that the prophecy doesn't really go into very much."

"If that is what this prophecy says, then it shall be done." Zack took up his sword, and plunged the blade into his own chest. Blood poured out of the wound, and the demon doubled over as well, clutching his chest and gasping. They both dropped to their knees, and the angel appeared as well. Blood from all three of them poured onto the floor, and at the point where the trails of blood met, a bright light appeared which engulfed them all.

From this light, beams of white energy lanced outwards, smashing into the walls, breaking them. The entire dimension was collapsing in on itself. A portal opened up, and sped away to where Jun and Sam where hiding, and took them back to their own dimension, just outside the temple. The dimension closed, and imploded.

Everything was right once more...

(OOC: ... and Darkangel, you can still post a sort of "aftermath" thing, even going before Zack's death, just to show what happened to your characters. I will make one last post before this RPG ends, and then you will have to wait until the next one.)

OCC: THis should be an interesting ending:) since Kelthor is gone...Jun is no longer under his spell...and they live Happily Ever After:)

OOC: OOPS, clarification, that all happened before yours and Kelthor's demise... sorry about that... and he's still got his own demons to deal with you know. Besides... my character could die... I kind of like that! lol

Either way, this ending will be good :laugh:

Jun looked at Sam....it was tempting to kill her.....but..it would of been meaningless. His hands shaking and his head pounding.....suddenly he let down his sword.....Kelthors roars exploded in his head....but this time....it didn't have any effect. His eyes had turned back to normal as he put away his sword. His eyes narrowed upon Sam as she stood there shaking.

At that moment a portal opened beside them and Zack appeared, Jun walked through without a word and Sam followed.

Outside the temple:

'Jun?....are you ok?' questioned Zack

Jun gave a slight nod and walked to the side.

'His darkside took over......,' whispered Sam.

Zack looked at Sam and walked over to him

'Your going aren't you,' whispered Zack

'I have to...although I am no longer under Kelthors control......I still have my demon within me...I feel its evil growing stronger...but I know it can be controlled..but I can't do it here...I must go somewhere else...it was good fighting beside you.,' spoke Jun his eyes distant.

Zack placed his hand upon his shoulder, 'Will we meet again?'

'Its a small world...anything can happen..but if you need me...just call upon the wind....I'll hear you,' whispered Jun as he spread out his wings.

Sam suddenly ran at him and grabbed his hand, he turned around and looked at her

'Don't go....don't...' she began, tears in her eyes

Jun pulled his hand from hers, 'I can't be what you want me to be....'

And with those words he took off into the sky....he let out a loud roar as his wings glistened in the evening sun....then he disappeared......until.....the next time.

Aftermath:

Sam was back at the temple. Lyon and Zack were gone. They were the only ones left. They thought back to Zack, Lyon and Isabelle. They had all died heroically. They were all heroes.

She walked towards the temple, and turned just as they walked through the door. She knelt down and touched the ground. Vines with huge flowers blooming sprouted from the ground, and wrapped themselves around the temple, turning it into a beautiful builidng. She said to herself:

[FONT=Arial Narrow][I]These flowers are for those who have fallen against Kelthor.[/I][/FONT]

Then she went inside.

Lyon looked down upon her, and watched as Jun flew away.
