OOC: Gloat all you will, Methy-chan. It shall be your undoing.

*****

Kuroichi walked slowly towards his hotel, wiping a speck of blood from the side of his mouth. He didn't want to scare the clerks. They were oftly accepting of his...oddities.

He nodded breifly to the old man behind the counter and marched up the stairs. It was then that he was struck by an odd aura. A power loomed at the top of the stairs, growing stronger by the minute. It pulsed ahead of him, an ominous forwarning of whatever lay in wait. And a single touch of the door-knob informed him that it came from inside his room.

The cloak faded from around his katana, and he gripped the handle tightly, releasing it slowly from its sheath. At the same time, he gripped the doorknob tightly, quickly flinging it open. He stepped into the dark room, drawing his blade and pointing it towards the source of the power.

Three gorgeous woman atop his bed.

It took him a few moments to fully process this. Then he realized who they were. One was the damnable Shadow Assassin, Keitha. The other was a Gyshram assassin he vaguely recognized as the Black Widow. And the third...

"Sumiyaka," he hissed between clenched teeth.

"Konban wa, Kuro-kun," Sumiyaka said, smiling wickedly.

Kuroichi's eyes narrowed and power began to crackle around him. He carefully shut the door and flicked on the light switch.

"Why the fuck are you here, Sumiyaka," Kuroichi snarled.

"I have come to meet with you, of course," Sumiyaka said with false kindness. "Didn't the winds inform you?"

"Obviously not."

"Well, that's too bad," Sumiyaka purred. "However, you do get the surprise of having three lovely ladies in your bed when you get home?"

"And it would be a welcome one, where one of them not a decietful harpy."

"That was uncalled for," Sumiyaka said, acting hurt.

"One of you is going to start talking. I don't care who. And if I don't like any of your reasons for being here, heads will fly. And if I do, well, I might share some of my secret talents," Kuroichi said with a wicked grin.

"My heart is a flutter," sneered Sumiyaka.

Bah...I'm so bored. Kuroichi's lucky that I respect him so. said Zoku as he stretched himself with a yawn...looking down upon the city of Sydney from one of the tallest skyscapers.

My Lord will keep his promise...please...wait for him.

Knowing him...he's probably out seducing another victim for himself...I wonder how his meeting with Keitha is going.

She is not the only he speaks to tonight...

Oh really...who else honors his presence?

Another Grysham assassin by the name of Lana, known as the black widow...and Sumiyaka, former Gwyar follower.

Beth...

How do you know these things Gaia...

There is nothing the wind speaks that doesn't pass through me. Everything in this world...is a part of me...as I am to them. Why do you think I can speak with you up so high...

I see...now wouldn't your new Lord be upset with you speaking to me Gaia...

My Lord trusts my judgement...he seeks my councel...but I cannot forget your countless years of devotion to me.

Acceptable...but pleaes leave me now...I must think.

As you wish...

Kuroichi should be fine against those women...it may be his greatest weakness...but he's the best at controling himself in those situations.

Pulling his katana from its leather sheath...he marveled at it, his craftsmanship, its length, stability, strength...power. It was quite a blade to look upon.

Oh the battles we've fought together Kuroichi; it would be an honor to fight by your side yet again, my brother. Remember the day we took control over all of Japan...or when our clan had finally conquered Hong Kong. Those were the good old days; we didn't have to bother with all of these politics.

I want blood...

''Fallen...''

From corner of his eye...he saw 3 fallen angels converging with one another in a local ally way; in clear view from Zoku's post up above. Swiftly gliding down the side of the skyscaper, using the poles and windows to jump from one to another in great leaps. He may not be able to move among shadows...nor levitate like others. But his agility made up for it...especially for his size.

With no reason nor gilt nor warning...Zoku landed inbetween all three; slicing ones head off effortlessly. Constantly moving, Zoku swung vertically up into thee other's pubic area cutting him into two pieces up throught his skull. As the blades momentum came back down for another swinging...the angel drew his sword and attempted to block its upward movement.

Instead though...Zoku pulled the blade back to avoid the block and lunged it straight through the fallens neck...brassing the angel upon the brick wall as it hung there.

Zoku knew that the fallen angels blood was tainted...unpure...as like a disease, distaste to any ''other'' vampire. But the moonstone craved it...the darkness within every one of these Myrkur Aniol contained some form of evil within them...cast down by God himself.

Without hesitation...Zoku claimed his price and clutched his fangs deep within the Aniol's flesh. Its blood was black...and thick...like running oil.

Zoku pulled away before the last drop...gasping for breath.

*deep breath* ''Excellent...''

HHmmm...what is this that I see? Yet another clan leader...murdered. My goodness...good old Axosiel...someone did the work for me...how wonderful.

Now there are two new leaders in each clan....a young prince for the Grysham...and Zuriel...coming here I see...this keeps getting better by the moment.

Abaddon...

Finally...he has decided to show himself once again. I've missed that undead soul of his...quite the vampire. I admire him above all the other fallen. Would be good to see him again?

''Now though...to get ride of this meal...no one can see that a vampire bit him...''

Taking the corpse by the neck...Zoku threw him into the night sky as high as he could...expanding his palm as he let go; he formed a small amount of energy and shot it at the fallens' body. Upon impact...it completely disintigrated...removing all evidence. To the humans in the area...it looked only like a mere firework.

Everything is now in place...the old gang is finally back together again...everythings falling into place.

But Beth...she's going to complicate my plans with Kyu...or is it...Sumiyaka will complicate my plans for Sole. So much has changed since I've been gone...but some things will never change.

Let the war begin...let blood flow through these countrysides like running water.

Sumiyaka looked to the other two women and they nodded, knowing that for this night she would take the lead against the common foe, Kuroichi. The vampire stood in the middle of his floor, whether he could see it in her face or sense it himself, he knew that there wouldn't be any battles tonight. He sheathed his Katana and Sumiyaka smiled sweetly, swaying her hips subtly as she walked over to him.

She noted the trickle of blood left on his neck and sighed inwardly; somehow her old mannerisms escaped her when she was around Kuroichi. She put a hand out and rested it on Kuroichi's shoulder, he snarled and was about to swat it away when he noticed Sumiyaka's tongue flick across her lips as she eyed his pale skin. That hesitation was all the woman needed and she leant forward, slowly running the tip of her tongue across Kuroichi's neck, savouring the taste of the blood left behind.

Kuroichi growled and pulled back a little slower than he usually would have, Sumiyaka smirked and eyed him knowingly as he seemed to shift uncomfortably in his coat. He coughed and started to unhook buttons casually, throwing his coat over a high backed oak armchair. He bowed his head slightly and swept Sumiyaka aside with certain amount of coldness in his attitude. She merely smirked.

?Drinks, ladies?? he asked politely, though his movements weren?t as fluent as usual, he seemed stiff and too precise. Sumiyaka watched eagerly, she could feel him getting uncomfortable under her smug gaze. A muscle in his cheek twitched and the silver haired man whirled around to face Sumiyaka, anger in his cold eyes.

?Woman, I fail to see how you get so much enjoyment out of pestering me?? his voice was low but menacing and Sumiyaka took that as a sign to leave, maybe her true objectives hadn?t been achieved for tonight, but she wasn?t expecting the arrival of Keitha and Lana.

?Ladies, I think it?s time we took our leave of Kuroichi.? The two other vampires nodded and they left leaving one last look with Kuroichi and Sumiyaka. She nodded and they smiled politely,
?The wind will leave you with a message, I suggest we meet tomorrow.? They nodded in agreement, Lana waved and then they were gone, leaving Sumiyaka and Kuroichi behind. Kuroichi looked ready to throttle his guest on the spot but somehow had the willpower to resist, a small crackle of impatient power flashing around his fingers.

Sumiyaka leant forward and blew softly in his ear, slipping her hand into one of his back pockets, leaving her room number on a piece of paper and the simple message of
?See me tonight so we can talk properly??

Kuroichi scowled as she blew him a kiss and slammed the door once she had left, leaving Sumiyaka with a very satisfied grin on her face.

OOC This is your best RP to date, ULX, I'm enjoying it immensly.
Oh yes, Duo and amgoddess, sorry about ushering your characters out so off handedly, but I have some plans for our dear Kuroichi, feel free to steal him for yourselves when I'm done, heh heh. If you really are unhappy with what I've done, however, feel free to PM me and I'll edit.

"My name is Lekishal. I am a vampire wishing to join the Myrkur Aniol. Please let me join!"

Zuriel sniffed at her. He smelt something unpleasant around her. The scent of attempted betrayal.

"You lie!" he shouted, his voice echoing down the street, "You are already a member of my clan, but you are of a different legion, a different branch of the clan. You wish to gain my trust so you can betray me! And for your insolence you shall die! But first tell me who sent you!"

"My master is the true leader of the Myrkur Aniol! He is governed by the true Fallen Angels!"

"A name, girl. Tell me a name, and your death will be quick!"

"The name of my master is...Abaddon!"

"Well done," said Zuriel, and with a slight movement of his hand he snapped her neck, killing her.

So...Abaddon was trying to return to the throne. If he thought Zuriel would go down without a fight, the he was gravely mistaken.

-----------------------------------

Back at the temple, Zuriel was talking to a soldier about the readiness of the army.

"The soldiers are ready to fight, sire, but I don't think we have enough experienced fighters to combat the Seraphic legions. They have some of the eldest and most experienced fighters in the entire clan. We cannot withstand an assault by them, let alone a full-on war with them."

"I had hoped for better news, but thank you anyway. You are dismissed." The soldier walked away, but his place was taken by another soldier, this one wearing torn clothes and covered in blood.

"What happened?" asked Zuriel. Medics ran to the soldier, and wrapped him in bandages as he spoke.

"We were attacked by an unknown enemy, and he killed the rest of us. I was the only one who got away."

"Did you see your attacker?"

"Yes. He was huge, and had a long sword. That's pretty much all I saw of him."

"Was he in the Krilat Zmaj? Or did he smell of the Myrkur Aniol?"

"I didn't have time to smell, sire. I'm sorry."

"Dammit!" shouted Zuriel, smashing his fist into the table in front of him. The shock of this sent the soldier into arrest, and he died before Zuriel's eyes.

"I want this clan ready for battle by nightfall tomorrow!" he yelled.

Father Eugene Colville and the unknown priest had gone back to the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of St Andrew in Sydney for the night. Eugene had gone to bed for the night...as the other stayed up for a moment of prayer and meditation.

My Father in heaven...again we strike a victory in your name against the darkness of this world. Our precious gift, Eugene Colville has become a poweful weapon for the Vatican.

Forgive me Father...for I am full of doubt. My ability to control Colville is weakening; I fear my hold over the demon within him slipping away. I cast my burdens upon you Lord; give me the strength to persever in my service for you and the church.

Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us of our sin, as we forgive those who've sined against us...and lead us not into temptation...

''But deliver us from evil....'' the voice could be heard up in the gallows of the ancient church. The priest was startled...

''Who's there?''

''...for thyn is the kindgom, and the power, and glory forever...''

''I said, who's there?!''

''...Amen.......now now my dear Man...you wouldn't want to wake your precious gift now would you.''

''Good Morning, Paladin...''

''Ah ah ah...'' the figure appeared out of nowhere behind the priest and gripped him with his hand...exposing a claw underneath the priest neck.
''I have business with you first before you call Eugene in. Now will you behave...?''

The old priest nodded his head in agreement...as he knew he was outwitted, valuing his life. The creature released him...and the priest turned around look at his attacker. The creature was in a black trench coat with a hood covering its face.

''Your a vampire...aren't you?''

''Maybe...*with a slight chuckle*...whats more important is why I'm here...I've just come to check on my little prodigy.''

''Your prodigy???''

''Well....not necessarily my prodigy...I have great plans for the man thats all. You Vatican Cloaks...believing you can control which you do not truly understand. I understand that boy better than anyone.''

''Wait...'' the priest was in a state of panic...he thought he knew who this creature was...but he couldn't believe it.

''Zoku...?''

''See, I knew that you were a smart one.'' Zoku pulled down his hood as black hair came down over his shoulders...his red eyes burning in the shadows of the church.

''My God...what has happened to you my son?''

''Rev. Joseph Armain...I told you a long time ago...no demon is ment to be caged. One of these days, Eugene is going to turn on you.''

''Thats obsurd!...Eugene would never betray his faith. I can't expect a creature like you to believe in God.''

Zoku turned away from the Reverand...and looked up at the crucifix Christ that stood before him.

''You got it all wrong holy man...I most certainly do believe in God.''

And swiftly with the slash of his katana...Zoku desicrated the statue, decapitating it.

''...And I absolutely hate the fuck.''

''Whats happened to you my child...where is the human who did miracles; where is the man I knew whom I called friend?''

''Your right...I was once one of you...till I learned how corrupt your church had become. I was a mere puppet for that year of service...never again.''

''Good Morning, Paladin Colville.''

Within moments Eugene leaped from one of the balcony's and stabbed Zoku through the chest with a silver stake. As he came to the ground...Eugene drew his two Desert Eagle Pistols and unloaded at the Vampire. Blood spattered everywhere...but despite as many rounds Eugene unleashed upon Zoku...he never left his ground. He just stood there with his head down.

''Those bullets are made of pure silver Vampire!...be gone.'' said Eugene as he motioned his hand, creating the Vatican crusifix across his chest.

hhahahhahahahaha....AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!...Zoku's laughs were echoing throughout the entire chapel. With blood gushing from his wound from the stake...he slowly pulled it out...an inch at a time. Rev. Joseph was in shock as the creature still stood standing.

''This cannot be...''

Finally taking the stake out...and throwing it to the aside...Zoku's wounds began to heal before their eyes, the bullets coming right out of their entry points.

''It's futil to fight against me Eugene...look into your heart...you can feel the darkness within you growing...let me help you. The darkness calls for you...the moostone requires you to obey.''

''Whatever Vampire...your existance ends now.'' Eugene lunged at Zoku with a blade drawn.

Stretching his left arm across his body...Eugene was inches away when Zoku swung at him, connecting with his jaw; sending him flying into a pillar to his left; leaving the human unconcious.

''Eugene...my poor boy...leave him alone you monster!''

''You have no authority here fool...there is no more meaning for the lives of men upon this earth. The old will die...and the new will be lifted up. This mans time will come...when he will come seek out the darkness...and I will give him what he desires most. God knows...I know of his tormented soul.''

Reverand Joseph felt so lost...as if God had forsaken him. Collapsing onto his knees, he lifted his eyes up to the heavens and cried out the name of God. Zoku walked up beside the Rev. and knelt down on one knee so that he could whisper into his ear.

''You're lucky my thurst is quinched this night...but mark my words. No demon is ment to be caged...sooner or later...you will die if you do not set him loss. You control something that you don't understand.''

And with that...the vampire was gone...dissapearing into the darkness...leaving the Rev. desolate and alone.

Finally...things are now set. Now for only two more pieces to be moved...don't keep me waiting Kuroichi for too long...war is upon us. I will bring blood to these streets...with...or without you.

OOC: WOOT!! I'm back people!! Thanks to all that kept Kietha in play while I was gone. :) Well if any one doesn't like the happenings in this post just let me know, ok? Thanks again :D And ULX, I love your Phantom of the Opera avatar and banner, its kick-ass!

*Looks about* Hmmm...where to begin.

IC:

"I have a secret to tell and an alliance to solidify." A voice whisphered from within the room. Shadows began to dance about the room swirling around Kuroichi with laughter.

Kuroichi clenched his teeth and threw a small dagger at one of the dancing shadows. "Show yourself, Assassin," Kuroichi growled.

"Oh, but wouldn't that take all the fun out it, Kuoichi?" Kietha's playful voice bounced off the walls of Kuroichi's charming little room. "Besides, you have a date tonight with the Lady Sumiyaka."

"She can wait."

"You would make such a lovely Lady wait? Oh I thought you were more of gentleman then that." The room filled with snuffed laughter as the shadows began to dance more crazed than before.

"Enough!" Kuroichi bellowed.

The room fell instantly silent and the shadows back to there places.

"I am sorry my Lord," Kietha's gentle voice came briskly into the room as her form slid through a wall into the room. "I forget that you have no humor." Kietha smiled devishly at the white haired vampire.

"Get to your point assassin."

"Of course." Kietha continued to smile as she bowed. "Which would you like first, my secret or alliance?" Kietha brought herself back up and began to wander around the room allowing Kuroichi to see her unique outfit. How the delicate fabric clung to her well shaped frame and her long crimson hair, that had always remained hidden in a braid or upon her head, was cascading down her back and sides.

"Just get on with it." The bitterness had become gentler, but still very apparent.

Kietha turned abrutly towards Kuroichi and began to walk towards him. Almost unable to be seen, Kuroichi pulled his sword from his side and shoved the tip nearly into Kietha's throat. A smile of almost pure ectcasy creased her lips as she pulled back her shirt and pants.

"I hide no weapons, Kuroichi. Would you honestly kill an unarmered alley?" She began to run her fingers across the beautiful metal of the blade.

"What do you have up your sleeves Shadow Assassin?" Kuroichi glared at her.

"I know we haven't been the best of friends, White Haired Demon." Kietha slid around the blade and began to approach Kuroichi again. "And I would never try to seduce you, not my style." Kietha ran her hands gently across Kuroichi's shoulders and down onto his chest, bringing her face close to his neck. She took in a deep breath and let out a slight moan. "I can still smell him on you." She slid from him and stood in front of him again. He had lowered his sword now and watched her with puzzled eyes.

Suddenly Kietha fell to one knee and threw her head toward her knees.

"What is this!"

"Over five hundred years ago I pledged my services to the current Lord of the Gyshram, David, along with my eternal lover. My lover died some years after my pledge and I promised to stay as loyal as I had always been to both my clan and to my lover. And I have. I have not feasted on human or vampire flesh in four hundred years and I have never broke my loyality to my lord. But now both my lord and lover have died, their dreams fading away as I speak. I long for revolution and revenge, I want to watch blood poor from my victims body as they scream for mercy. I wish to pledge my body and power directly to you, my Lord Kuroichi."

The room fell deathly silent, not even the steady sound of breathing could be heard. Kietha smiled under her vail of crimson hair. "I do not wish for your answer now," she said with that sweet, arrogant tone that was always in her voice. "The morning sun will give me your answer."

And before Kuroichi could protest, she was gone.

---------------------------------------------------

"Are you ready, Lana?" Kietha walked into the lobby of the hotel where Lana was waiting for her patiently.

"Of course, where are we off to now?" Lana joined Kietha's side, handing Kietha her sword.

"Where ever you would like. The rest of the night is our." Kietha smiled at her fellow Gyshram assassian.

OOC: It took me so long to write this because I kept getting distracted *sigh* Um...Amgoddess you can do whatever you would like hun, just no sucky sucky of pretty red liquid for Kietha (but she can help lure silly little boys out to play though) Otay I'm off now. :D

Colville woke up a few minutes after the vampire left. He looked at the old priest, with fire in his eyes.

'Why didn't ye tell me there were fun vampires here?' he said with a laugh. He stood, wiping the blood from his mouth. He shivered visibly as he straightened his coat. He walked to the bedchamber where he and the other priests slept and opened his trunk.

'What do you have in mind?' the old priest asked as Colville pulled a small box from the trunk.

'I've been missing the entertainment.' he replied as he opened the box. It was full of neat little rows. In each of these rows were 10mm bullets, tipped with white.

'Are those what I think the are?' the old priest asked.

'Silver bullets, blessed by an archbishop, melted from crosses that once adorned the Vatican itself and tipped with white phosphorus. Even the most powerful of vampires can't regenerate from the burning wounds these create. My favorite little toys.' Colville stood and turned to leave. The old man followed.

'I cannot simply let you go, Paladin Colville.' he said, 'You might hurt innocent people.'

Colville stopped and turned, a look of amusement on his face,'And just how do ye intend to stop me, old man? Yer little 'password'?'

The old man didn't hesitate,'Good night, Paladin Colvi...' the old man was cut off as a burning hole appeared between his eyes.

'Never again will I be controlled by an impure being such as ye.' he laughed, 'Now, for that vampire.' he said, disappearing through the door.

Sole and Jinsei quickly unloaded their luggage from the boat and rushed into town, checking into a hotel quickly. After Sole payed for the room and brought his luggage up, he told Jinsei to unpack and wait for him to return. Jinsei was confused.

"Where are you going? Oh, it doesn't matter, forget it. I'll just watch TV here or somethin'..." Sole grinned and spun around, swiftly walking from the room. He sped down the stairs and out of the building, into the night air.

Sole moved around, aware of every movement, every person around him. He breathed in the chilly air eagerly. There was something going down tonight. At least one thing, anyway. He took anoher couple of steps, then froze in his tracks.

A familiar scent passed by him, but there was something wrong with it, to some extent. It was...changed, more powerful, bloodthirsty. Sole realized who it was and raced off in the direction it came from.

Zoku.....What's happened to you? He ran carelessly and rammed someone full on, knocking himself over. He grabbed his head in pain and looked up, meaning to apologize, and froze in shock. A giant figure was towering over him, long black hair flowing, and red eyes piercing Sole's very soul. Sole remaines speechless. Zoku took a once over and grinned.

"Look's as if you've changed to, Kyu. Hmmmm....or should I say, Sole?" He opened his mouth to say something then closed it quickly, shifting his eyes slightly. He helped Sole back up and smiled.

"So, I'm guessing you're in a hotel, correct? Let's get there quickly so we can talk. It's safer there." They arrived back shortly, but Sole was still speechless with shock. He couldn't believe the hulking mass next to him was the Zoku he knew. Hethrew open the door to his room and sat down quickly. Jinsei walked out of the other room to see what was up.

" 'Ey Sole. You're back so---". He looked at Zoku and grinned, nervously. He held up the peace symbol.

"Hello." Sole regained his senses and adressed Zoku.

" Why are you here in Sydney?"

OOC: Just so you know, Blayze, Abaddon isn't the leader of the Myrkur Aniol's Seraphim...he doesn't even want to be. That'd be Michael, followed by Uriel, Gabriel, then Abaddon as fourth. I'll cover it though. ^ ^ Happy hunting!

------------------------------------------------------

"I bring news, lord Abaddon."

A lithe, travel-weary messenger Myrkur kneeled at Abaddon's feet. Removing his coat, Abaddon placed his longsword on his bed as he prepared to equip his old battle-armor.

"News? Not much can be learned on the last eve before battle. Nevertheless, proceed."

"Lekishal is dead, sir. Murdered...by Zuriel." The vampire's voice seemed to choke in the last part of the message.

"Who...?"

"An upstart Myrkur, Abaddon..." replied Uriel, entering Abaddon's chambers behind the messenger. Placing a hand on the page's shoulder calmly, he bid him leave. When they were alone, Uriel proceeded to hand Abaddon new pieces of his armor. As Abaddon strapped on his shin guards, Uriel continued.

"She was always trying to gain admittance to the clan. But she was too proud, too eager...not yet ready to bear the responsiblities of a Seraphim. She idolized you, strangely enough. She hoped to become the next Spirit of Vengeance."

"Did she now?"

Uriel stared in surprise to see Abaddon rise, his eyes teary. Quickly blinking them away, he buckled his great black chestpiece on.

"I wonder...could she handle it? Why is it the young always search for glory...and the old tire of it?"

"We are not so old, Abaddon. We are not so feeble."

"Feeble? No. But old we are indeed." Abaddon tied the last of his outfit, his long red cape, to his shoulders. "I tired, old friend. I am weary. Let others fight this new, reckless blood. Let we elders have our peace."

"That is, at the moment, impossible Abaddon. You know that."

"Indeed I do. That is why I shall fight this last time. Kuroichi is of no more concern. Let the world of vampires and evil destroy itself. I care not. After this battle, I will intervene only to protect human life. Whether I fall with the clan, or help it rise again, I am done with this war." Feeling a great weight lift from his shoulders, Abaddon reached his arm back. "My sword." He felt a metallic handle press into his palm, but as he drew the blade out for inspection, a crimson brilliance glinted off the edge. Drawing in a sharp breath, Abaddon turned to Uriel. "Eden's Bane! You cannot mean to-"

"It is yours, Abaddon. It suits you. After all, you would protect the human's paradise, wouldn't you?" smirked Uriel.

"But...what of you? You will not enter battle unarmed!"

"Certainly not! I will bring Azoziel. I think I have more in common with your old friend then you did."

As the two old warriors looked upon each other, they both seemed understand that only one of them would survive. Only one thing was appropriate. Clasping hands, they drew together in an embrace.

"Good luck, old friend."

-------------------------
Five hours later
-------------------------

The two armies of the Myrkur Aniol met at midnight. Zuriel's clan vastly outnumbered the Seraphim. In confidence, they began beating their shields and spears together, chanting war cries, until the whole night was filled with a chaotic noise. Suddenly, louder than all, Gabriel's horn cut a blast through the air, the deep tone resonating through every vampire's body. As a deafening silece perforated the air, Zuriel and the Four Generals met at the center of the field.

"So, this is the great Seraphic Legion, eh?" sneered Zuriel.

"It is." replied Michael. "And our offer still remains. Stand down now, and we will allow you to repent for the crimes of draining humans to the point of death, killing other Myrkur Aniols, and trampling the ideals our order."

"Stand down?" Zuriel suddenly let out a racous, yet slightly shaken laugh. "I easily command 10 times as many warriors as you."

"And every Seraphim we have," shouted Abaddon, suddenly advancing," is worth twenty of yours!" The two vampires reached for their blades, but Michael, faster than both could react, raced between them and shoved the swords back in the sheaths.

"Stay your hands until the battle. It's the proper way to do it."

Walking to their respective sides, Abaddon and Zuriel both paused, turned, and looked at each other. Zuriel smiled and pointed a finger at Abaddon. "Stay alive for me, Spirit of Vengeance. We have unfinished business."

Growling, Abaddon drew his sword and cut the back of his left hand. Clenching it into a fist, he let three drops fall to the ground.

"Remember this sight, Zuriel. It will be the last time you ever see my blood. I hope you like the sight of yours."

------------------------------------------------------

OOC: To WAAAAARRR!! ^ ^ Haha. Don't kill Abaddon off too quickly, Blayze. I want him and Zuriel to play and exchange ideals for a bit...hehe.

''And who might this young warrior be; an apprentice?'' Zoku asked...outstretching a hand to shake...

Jinsei was caught off guard...the vampire standing before him was massive, tall and muscular...he looked like he could break him and Sole in two.

''My...name...is Jinsei.'' he finally proclaimed as he shook Zoku's hand.

Zoku's grip tightened as his burning red eyes glared at the young man...turning his head away toward Sole...Zoku let go of Jinsei's hand, throbbing with pain.

''Strong lad you have here Sole...I sense that you've given him the Skull Sapphire...may I ask why?'' Zoku seemed angry as he took a seat on one of the couches, placing Oblivion to his side. Sole was sitting on his bed while Jinsei was leaning up against the door connecting the two rooms...rubbing his hand.

I felt it necessary to give it to him. He has proven himself time and time again in his service to me...and I felt that I could take no more than I already had from the Sapphire.

Zoku didn't respond...he just gazed at Sole again with those red eyes of his...it felt like his very soul was being drained from within him.

''Should I leave now Sole...I don't want to intrude.''

''No no...you must stay, now. With possession of the Skull Sapphire, you are now part of this little game.'' Zoku obviously was drawing in the boy deeper into the matter...showing Sole how foolish his decision was, placing the lad in more danger than he needed to be in.
''So please...stay a moment while me and Sole speak.''

''As you wish...'' Jinsei now was really scared of this man. His entire being seemed to be that of evil...through his voice, vibe; and those eyes...Jinsei quietly obeyed and sat down in a chair in the corner of Sole's room.

There was a long pause till Sole finally said something.

I wish to be so bold to ask you Zoku...why are you here in Austrailia?

''The same reason you are...to see this war through to the end. I wish to kill all that stands in the way of this new order that comes upon us all. Kuroichi grows stronger everyday...and all the armies of our clans are gathering.''

So what clan do you serve?

''I bow to no one Sole...do not forget that. However I do fight for Kuroichi and the Krilat Zmaj; I trust Kuroichi and his intentions...he's the only one with the nerve to lead our people.''

Sole couldn't believe what he was hearing...only 2 months ago did he first meet Zoku, a kind-loving spirit who he took in as a friend. A human who gave him the two Gems of power...the power to help reunite the clans.

You've changed Zoku...

''Not as much as you may think Sole...I know what your thinking. You remember me giving you those Gems to help you lead the Gwyar, to reunite the clans. My wish still has not changed, however...in order for unison between us all...there unfortunately will be death; kings and empires must fall.''

I mean with you Zoku...look at you.

''I could say the same for you...I know what stirs within you. Don't think that I cannot sense the darkness within you growing; like a wild flame to a dying forest. You seek death...your seek revenge...you seek...her...''

Beth...

''Yes...'' Zoku raised himself from his seat and walked over to the window...looking out at the rain.

''She is here as well...speaking with Lord Kuroichi as we speak. I'm sorry but, you may be dissapointed when you find her...I sense she is not the same girl we once knew back in Draculas castle those months ago.''

What happened that night Zoku?...you just...dissapeared.

''I cried out that night Sole...and no one came to my aid...but Lord David of the Grysham came to me...threatened to kill me for my love for Keitha. So...I left...realizing that I would never be at peace with myself why'll this curse haunted me so.''

...Jinsei was amazed, not by simply the story...but how it was being told. This vampire sensed to be pure evil...you could feel its insensity through your veins. Just looking at him made your blood boil... but for such a dark force...he was quite intelegent and calm; in complete control of his movements and actions. You would think evil would be uncontrolable and irrational...but Zoku wasn't...

''I've spilt blood Sole...more than you realize...I've killed Caine, my creator; our father...''

No...it can't be...

''I've killed Lord David of the Grysham for his imputance towards me.''

Please...tell me this isn't true Zoku.

''Oh I've killed...and I don't plan on stopping now. The darkness craves it...''

Surprisingly...Sole didn't notice at first till Zoku mentioned the darkness...what was that red stone hanging from his neck?

What is that Gem around your neck Zoku?

''Its what keeps my thrist in check my dear Sole...the Opal of Thirst...the 8th and final Gem.''

But I was led to believe that there were only 7...

''We all were...till I drank Caine's blood...and learned of his secrets. Oh the secrets he kept from all you Gwyar. Did you know...that Caine was actually killed by Abel first...but Lucifer gave him wings and created within him an undead soul...thus, the creation of vampires. And the only way he could suppress his hunger so that he didn't eliminate the entire human race; was to create a Gem for himself.''

Both Sole and Jinsei were shocked...this vampire now contained the secrets of their once great leader Caine.

''You all were going to take him down anyway soon...I just made the job a little bit easier for you. Do not fret...it was his due time to die anyway. You know this Sole...you knew that a new leadership was needed within the Gwyar. That is my purpose...to whip away the old so that a new age can be born. And Kuroichi is the key...don't you see...I need you. With you...we will help win this war for Kuroichi...and be held in high favor with him.''

''Who else will do it...the Grysham...they are nothing but spies and shadows...hiding instead of acting. The Fallen; they are the most powerful of us...they will do anything to stop Kuroichi's advancements...and they are divided as it is among their leaders. Believe me...the Gwyar...the most ancient of us must take a stand.''

''So what is it going to be my friend...you and Kuroichi are the only ones whom I trust and respect. If you were any other I would kill you here and now...''

''Beth has left you alone, leaving you to endure the torment within you. The death diamond is a part of you...as the moonstone is dwelling within me....unleashing the demon within me, to my full potential. Why are you here...are you here to fight Kuroichi...to fight for your people...or are you simply here for her. This is why I gave you the Gems...because I knew I could trust in your judgement.''

''I will be meeting with Kuroichi tomorrow night, not as an enemy; but as a brother of the Krilat Zmaj. We have much to discuss...Kuroichi and I. I would like to add your name as an ally to us....where we go from here this night...is up too you. Do not deny what is within you Sole...I see it...you see it. Embrace it...you know what truly needs to be done.''

''Choices choices choices...'' Zoku repeated as he again took his seat and awaited Sole's answer.

OCC: Oh boy...that was a lot of writing...hopefully that was good and dandy for all of you. Sole...have fun...ooo...the manipulation of the dark side:) hehe...fun fun.

OOC: Okie dokie demonchild! *rubs hands together evilly*

" Whereever I like? That's sounds good. I wouldn't mind scaring a few people, and maybe, a late night snack," Lana suggested.
" Whatever you wish Lana," Keitha replied as they walked down one of the dark streets of Sydney.

" Oh this is so boring Keitha!" Lana whined as they sat on top of the Sydney Tower. The wind whipped around them both as they sat there. Lana had scared the wits out of some people but that was all Keitha would allow her to do.
" Why are you whining to me?" Keitha growled at her younger companion. Sometimes Lana was a real pain in the ass.
" Because you won't let me do anything fun!"
" It's because you'd go too far and reveal that we still exist."
" Ha! Reveal that we still exist! Are you kidding? I'm more steathful than that. Don't give me much credit do you?"
" Do you deserve it?"
" Oh here we go....about this again....."
" You have no responsibilty Lana..."
" Oh shut up Keitha! You don't know anything....so can it!" Lana stood up and paced around. " Come with me to find someone to play with, please Keitha?"
" Not after that comment!"
" Oh come on Keitha! I know you want to do something to get your mind off of things."
" No Lana."
" Sheesh. What a party pooper!" Lana walked to the edge and jumped down from the great height, landing on the road below easily. Slowly, she made her way around the city, trying to find a perfect victim. It wasn't easy, most of them weren't her style.

" Damn you Keitha! Now I'm going to have to be bored by myself!" Lana cursed under her breath.

(OOC: So does that mean I can kill Abaddon eventually, then?)

Gabriel's horn sounded once more, and the two legions of vampires charged at each other, screaming their own personal war-cries. They slammed together, bones crunching with the impact. Some fell there, without even managing to land a blow. Others sliced and hacked, members of the Seraphic legions and Zuriel's legion falling to the weapons of the other side. Blood spilled onto the ground, forming puddles of crimson.

Zuriel was at the head of the army, slicing at the opposition with his swords. He decapitated one, then blocked another and spun under his blow, slicing him across the midriff, then plunged his blade into the vampire's chest. He looked up, stained with the blood of his own clan, and saw Abaddon hanging around at the back of his legion, waiting for the opportune moment to strike against him. Zuriel's armour was already splattered with blood and earth, but he was still slicing his way through the other Myrkur Aniol.

For a few minutes, it looked like Zuriel's legion would win the battle, but then Zuriel saw his army's doom. Abaddon, clad in full armour, wielding his mighty sword, charged at the battle, hacking through the vampires, cutting a swathe into the lines of the Myrkur Aniol. He sliced, but never took his eyes off Zuriel. He met Abaddon's gaze and returned it. He ran at the mighty vampire, cutting through the other vampires to reach him.

"Abaddon!" he shouted, "Why do you fight your own clan?"

"You are not worthy to be the leader! You should not be on the throne!" replied Abaddon through the screams of his men.

"Then let us allow these others to live. Your quarrel is with me, not the rest of my clan!"

"It is true that I do not wish my own clan to be taken apart, weakened for Kuroichi to destroy us with ease. Very well. It shall be one-on-one duel to the death. Either you or I will not leave this field alive."

The rest of the men broke apart, leaving the dead on the ground. They would be collected later. Zuriel and Abaddon were left facing each other, the bodies of their men paving the path between them. They placed their weapons back in their sheaths, and moved ten paces away from each other. Gabriel moved his horn to his mouth again, and, after a few moments, he blew a long, clear note on it. Both warriors leapt at each other, drawing their weapons in mid-air, and meeting on the ground. Their swords clashed, and the battle began. Zuriel slashed, Abaddon dodged, then swung at Zuriel, who blocked. The force of Abaddon's sword made Zuriel's arm go dead. He jumped over a horizontal swipe, and swung at Abaddon's head. Abaddon ducked, and Zuriel landed in the mud. He recovered quickly, though, and slashed a cut in Abaddon's arm. Blood trickled steadily out of it, and dripped onto the ground.

"So, you have cut me, Zuriel. Maybe you shall see my blood again this day, but for the last time!" he charged at Zuriel...

Sole sat in silence, torn between his feelings. He trusted Zoku, and everything Zoku just said seemed right in some way. Why was he here, exactly? To bring down Kuroichi? To defeat him in honor of the Gwyar? No. No, he wasn't here to defeat him. He had only used that as an excuse. He had just wanted to leave, there was no longer need for him in the Gwyar clan. He just wanted to be with those he cared for. Jinsei and Beth...or Sumiyaka as she now went by.

Sole looked at Zoku, who was patiently waiting for an answer. Sole smiled at him. He had his answer.

"I'll embrace the darkness that dwells within me and the stone...and then I'll confront Kuroichi. And if he is the answer to the clan's problems as you say, I---we will join you. But I must also consult Sumiyaka, for If joining you means going against her I do not know if I can. So for the moment...consider me an ally." Zoku grinned at Sole's response.

"Hmmm....I suppose I wasn't misguided in giving you those gems. You'll make a fine asset in our plans. If you want to confront Kuroichi consider coming with me to meet with him tommorow night. You and your apprentice." Sole nodded. Zoku stood up and grasped Sole's shoulder.

"I trust you, don't disappoint me. I hope to see you tommorow night with favorable news." With that he departed, leaving a confused Jinsei and a contemplative Sole. Jinsei turned to him, trying to make sense of what just happened.

"Embrace the darkness? And why... why are we joining them? Are we just going to submit to Kuroichi that easily?" Sole sighed and put his head in his hands. After a couple of seconds he looked back up at Jinsei and grinned.

"What..you don't trust me? Look, Zoku may not look at things in the same perspective as us, but he did give us the gems, so he deserves to be listened to. Besides, I'm interested in the darkness. Zoku says it flows within me and I know he's right. And who knows, maybe Kuroichi can bring peace...wouldn't it be worth it? Hmm.....tommorow we're going to find Sumiyaka. Maybe she'll be able to help."

"Hmm... sorry, I trust you...but I'm a bit skeptical as to the "peace" he would bring." Sole shrugged and walked over to his friend.

"Whatever happens, we're in this together, right bud?"

"Of course." Sole grinned again.

"Then no worries. 'Cause no matter what we'll be looking out for one another. Let's get some sleep. Tommorow's gonna' be an eventful day, so rest up."

The sun was still asleep and the moon shone brightly in the 3am sky. Jinsei arose from a restful sleep and ready to take on whatever the day brought. Brushing his silver hair out of his eyes, he stepped into the hallway to see if Sole had awakened. Jinsei walked over to him. No, dead asleep. Jinsei shook him, and Sole gazed dazily in the morning light.

"Nuh...morning?", Sole uttered, still half asleep. Jinsei rolled his eyes.

"Breakfast?", asked Jinsei. Sole raised an eyebrow, still dazed.

"Yah...breakfast...so kind of you to cook....I want a whole pig...and a gallon of orange juice...yah, orange juice...nyaghh...zzz..." Sole's eyes rolled back into his head and fell into bed, snoring.

"Grrr...imbicile. Get your ass up, I'm not cooking!" Sole snapped up out of bed and started rambling.

"Wow your blood tastes like orange juice. Lemme get another drink. Pleeeaaa---Oh, hey Jinsei. Ready for breakfast?"

"Gah...err, yea sure." He turned and quietly added, "Scaaaary."

"I'll call room service... and, uhh, waddaya want?" Sole asked still a bit sleepy. Jinsei told him what he wanted, then Sole called room service, requesting an "early" breakfast. Shorly afterwards a tired and slightly annoyed waiter brought them up their food.

He rudely shoved his hand out for a tip, obviously pissed that he had to wake up so early. Sole gave him five bucks. The waiter looked at the five dollars, the shoved out his other hand. Sole pulled fifty bucks out of his pocket and threw it into the waiters face. He slammed the door, leaving a shocked waiter in the hallway. Sole growled as he brought the food over.

"Damned rude waiters..."

A few minutes later...

"Yea, so where do we start looking for Beth, err, Sumiyaka? And then where do we go from there?"Jinsei inquired.

" Hmmm...I guess we should look for Sumiyaka together. I should be able to find her if I come across her scent....but otherwise it may take days to find her. I wonder if she rented a room under her name or an alias." Sole and Jinsei lowered their heads, discouraged. Sole suddenly had an idea.

"She probably arrived on the night of that storm, right?" Jinsei nodded, not seeing where he was headed with this.

"Well....then she probably got into a hotel relatively close to the harbor. So we just have to look around that area and we should be able to find her." Sole looked over to Jinsei to see what he thought of the idea. Jinsei was shoving down some pancakes into his mouth when he looked up and attempted to grin.

"Yea...shure...wa'ever ou ay." Sole rolled his eyes and took a swig of orange juice, then finished eating. As they left the hotel and got into the rented Corvette, Jinsei flipped out his cell phone to check hotel listings in the area for her name as Sole seached for her scent.

"God, I feel like a bloodhound seaching by smell like this." Sole said sounding annoyed.

They kept driving and after a while began to grow weary. Then Jinsei turned, stunned, to tell Sole they had a lead Sole said quickly, "We're here, this is it."

They parked and entered the inn. As they entered, Sole almost collapsed in shock. Not only was Sumiyaka's scent strong here...but so was someone elses. It was powerful, unbelievably powerful, and sent a shiver down Sole's back. Kuroichi... Sole shook it off and walked up to the counter, behind Jinsei.

"We're looking for a young lady, Sumiyaka, we heard she's staying here." stated Sole.

"We're good friends and wanted to drop by to say hello." Jinsei added. As the receptionist thumbed through the pages of the guests' room numbers, Jinsei's eyes widened in terror as he caught a particularly unexpected name. Kuroichi. The enemy, or the ally? His mind clouded with confusion, surely Sole had sensed him; and fought his emotions to keep calm.

"Ah, here we go. The rooms up two floors and to the left. But you may want to knock before you enter. I believe she's with a young silver-haired man right now." Jinsei and Sole froze. She was with...him? They thanked him and walked up the flights of stairs, tension mounting.

They stood ridgid in front of the door, their curiosity peaked. Sole raised his fist to knock the halted, turning to Jinsei, smiling nervously.

"I guess we'll meet him sooner then we thought. Ready?" Jinsei nodded and Sole knocked on the door. They steadily waited for the door to open.

Zoku walked out of Sole's hotel room very pleased...his plan had succeeded. Sole definitly looked interested in the idea of joining him. He wouldn't have to serve Kuroichi directly, but through Zoku. Sole's dark side certainly showed that night..especially with the dark moonstone calling for him.

Zoku finally stopped walking away from the hotel, going deeper and deeper into the city until he came to a large bar. As he got it...there was exotic dancing on the stage, with other couples dancing on the dance floor as the music blared. Strob lights were flickering all over the room as Zoku found himself a chair and ordered himself a beer. From his jacket he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter and lite it up. As he smoked...with a beer coming his way...he dwelled on the nights events.

Through the time Zoku has had the Dark Moonstone, he's learned to manipulate the evil within any individual...as well as enhancing his own demonic side through it. And with the Opal of Thirst...the most primative side of any vampire...no matter how strong the individual was, they couldn't ignore there thirst for blood. With these two Gems...he could play with any vampires mind.

Zoku was quite fond of Sole...not only for his youth...but his potential, the very reason he gave him the Gems. He could sense the evil within him growing as they spoke with one another...he most certainly would become a valued asset to Zoku. But Sumiyaka was going to complicate things...it was only a matter of time till he found out that Sumiyaka has been having ''relations'' with Kuroichi...it was he who turned her into who she was now.

Now...because of that...will he choose to kill Kuroichi for that; ruining my plans...or will he become vengeful against Sumiyaka's betrayal and come to Zoku's side.

He didn't know...but something else intreged him. As he left Sole's hotel room...he saw the moon was a deep red.

Finally...the war has begun.

As he strolled the streets, he could smell all of the fallen's blood being spilt that night...and even that of Abaddon and the man called Zuriel could be sensed in the air. Looking at all the other pathetic humans dancing to this music...he thought to himself...

Certainly...whomever wins this battle...will turn this war into a different direction.

I think I should go congradulate the winner...but that wouldn't be wise. I might as well relax till tomorrow night comes with my meeting with Kuroichi.

As Zoku began to relax...a gothic looking girl walked by him giving him a ''look.'' She was quite attractive...a slim, firm body with black hair and make-up underneathe her eyes. She tried to have a tough appearance...but he could see right to her soul; he knew better...this wasn't whom she was. A lost tormented being...searching for her soul.

As the young lady left towards the bathroom...Zoku followed her...putting out his cigarette, he went back to the bathrooms with her. She looked behind her and motioned him to follow. When they got to the womans bathroom...the girl and Zoku were upon each other in moments. Locking the door behind them, the girl took off her panties through her shirt, kicking off her shoes and spreaded herself to him. Zoku took great desire in this and gave her her wish as she screamed from the pleasure.

''I know what you are........uh.....your one of them......those vampires they talked about on the news.'' she grabbed Zoku hair as it intensified.

''PLease...make me one of you...I don't want to feel so empty and alone anymore.''

Zoku didn't say anything...but he did finish what he started. When they were finally done...as she was putting back on her shoes.

''Do you know what you are asking my dear girl...you will die...a being with no soul...wandering the world as a killer.''

''I'm already dead to the world my Lord...please...take me...''

Zoku was now standing right in front of the young girl...staring down at her.
''So be it...''

Forcefully he lifted her up into the air with his left hand...exposing the left side of her neck with his thumb upon her throat. Blood spattered all over the bathroom walls as he drank...her blood was sweet...obviously from the drugs she had been taking. It was quite a treat to his lips.

That night...he turned her...and left her in the bathroom...shivering as her body died. When she finally awoke...she was a new being. The hair was now long and straight, her facial complextion was perfect...she was quite a sight to take in. Her eyes were black with a ring of red surrounding her pupil.

''Look at yourself girl...'' as Zoku stood behind her as she looked into the mirror, seeing nothing.

''Your wish has been granted...all who wish to become a vampire will be granted as such. But I have a request of you...before the next moon sets upon this place...I want you on a boat to Japan. From there...you will meet those like you.''

''Those like me?...vampires?''

''Even better my child...they will have your mark...you have a red ring in your eye. That is my mark...the mark of one of my children. They will find you...and you will be welcomed with open arms. Do you understand?''

''Yes...thank you so much Lord Zoku...'' as she embraced him in a hug.

''From this day forth...your name will be Shiva...now go...quickly.''

Without hesitation...the girl ran out of the club and headed for the harbor. Zoku walked back out to the party in the bar and lite another cigarette...his face emotionless as the music continued to play.

Kietha smiled as she watched Lana wander off in disappointment and frustration. Such a charming young vampiress. A few more years and a little less lust running through her head, and you'd be a glorious leader. Even one well suited for Nye and the Gyshram throne, if that's what you wanted to call it. But what would that matter when Kuroichi united them all? Would he keep the clans and their foolish little lords to over see the happenings of his empire, reporting to him as their surperior. Or would he have them all killed? She prayed not.

Nye was far too young for murder and not nearly his fault for the throne. Though he was next in line, the only reason he had it was because Kietha had handed it to him. She knew that David had listed her the next to rule the Gyshram and lead them to unity with the other clans. But she was no leader. She had too many things to accomplish that were of her own accord and she wasn't going to place them in some one else's hands.

Kietha took a deep sigh and threw her head back, gazing up at the bright stars. The moon shined brightly off in the distance and the sky a heavely deep blue, purple. It had been so long since she had looked at the stars. Her and Serio had done it almost every night they could. Longing for a better life, but not wishing to leave where they both were in. Now Kietha was alone, completely alone. The one thing she had left had been slaughtered in his very own home, right under her nose! Where the hell was she when the devil Zoku snuck in!

Kietha slammed her fist forcefully against the rock ledge she sat upon, hearing the thunderous cracking it made as small pieces of it fell away. Sydney lay behind her, the lights and the noise all too close for her liking. She could have traveled to the opposite shore-line to see the glorious cliffs, but felt it wise not to drag Lana all over the place.

"More reckless blood is being shed tonight, oh, and look, some one has turned." Kietha spoke aloud, turning back towards the city.

Zoku Kietha growled in her head.

************************

The flashing lights, loud music, and the scent of raging hormones was enough to make any vampire lose control. It was something Kietha could picture Lana enjoying herself in. She was reckless enough for this atomsphere. Kietha turned her head from the foul stench of smoke and vomitt as she slipped into the crowded bar and into the back shadows. She wasn't properly dressed for such an occassion, but at least her hair was up and out of the way again.

The clad women dancing both on floor and table was something else. Never had she seen such a display of maddness in all her thousand years of life. Or death. The men were crazed over the amount of willing females. Beer and mixed drinks spewed from all sorts of places within the loud, flashy bar and the rank smell of sweet and sex was almost unbarable. Kietha had almost forgotten the rituals and behaviors of humans had changed so much from her time.

Kietha managed to slip past the crowd and to a back table to herself. No one seemed to bother her as she watched the room with light eyes. There were a handful of vampires making their way through the busy place, but that wasn't why she was here.

I can smell you, Zoku. The rapidly moving shadows threw her words around the bar, finally reaching their mark.

The massive vampire sat at the bar counter, drinking and smoking away when the shadows' voices finally reached him. At first he thought it to be the music and that he had made his name follow suit. But the second wave of shadow voices told him he wasn't alone.

Your scent is strong. I followed you from Sole and Jinsei's hotel all the way to here. So unlike you to be in such a shit whole. I thought better of you. There was a slight pause in the string and Zoku was about to look around when the next string came. I think Zoku should come out and play with me tonight. Its been so long since I've had fun. But can you find me? By the time you hear the last of them I'll be gone and on my way. So come out, come out to where ever I am. And leave Oblivion behind because Chaela won't be out to play.

OOC: Hey Kairi, it be real nice if you decide to meet up with Kietha to not kick her ass. Of course causing conflict is always fun. I have a few hidden surprises I'd like to bring out in our little meeting, but if you don't. That's ok too. I can work around the details. But if you do, just pm me for the location if you haven't already guessed it. Later and night kitties and puppies :D

Lana sighed as she sat upon the top of the Opera House. She grew rather bored of making people scream and run from her. Now she was tantalising the Opera House guards who were trying to get her off the building. The uniform wearing men clambered up the steps, careful not to slip, making their way slowly to Lana. She watched the pathetic figures approach her with their guns drawn.

" Now, miss, we don't want to harm you, but if you would please get down from here," one guard asked, his gun pointed at her head. Lana sighed and looked over the Harbour.
" Miss, I won't ask you again."
Lana stood up and looked down at the guard. " That's no way to talk to a lady. Maybe I should put you out of your misery."
The guard stepped backwards a pace at Lana's menacing voice. She chuckled aloud, seeing the guard quake in his boots.
" Pathetic...and you're supposed to be a guard....a simple woman scaring you."
The guard's hands shook and he wiped them on his uniform because they were so sweaty. Two other guards came to back him up.

" Three guards against one poor girl. This is quite amusing," Lana said aloud. Without any warning, Lana teleported behind the nearest guard and pierced both his kidneys with her sais.
" Goodnight dear fellow..." she whispered into his ear as she pulled out her sais and he thudded to the ground so far below.

A few people screamed when they saw the dead guard smack into the pavement, blood splattering everywhere. Lana whirled around to the other guards who saw their co-worker plummet to the ground.

" Now for your turn." Lana licked her lips teasingly and then disappeared. Only screams of death could be heard from the rooftop of the Sydney Opera House.

An hour later...

Lana pushed her way into a club. She was back to her old tactics again - stalking those healthy young men. Suddenly, the scent of two other vampires wafted past her nose. One was her companion, Keitha, the other was a far more powerful and menacing vampire. He was male - she could tell from the pheromones in the scent. Lana decided to check on who this macho vampire was - his scent was rather.....intriguing.

So...you've finally sought me out Keitha...how nice of you...

Finishing the rest of his beer...he placed it back down on the bar table and paid the bar tender. Picking up his trench coat from the chair...he began to leave the bar till he sensed another Grysham.

Am I being followed....no matter....I might as well accept Keitha's invitation and follow her trail.

I sense you are upset with me Keitha...no question over the death of your dear Lord. I'm pleased to know that you could point out my work... as he began to walk along the streets...following Keithas path.

Pitty you seek vengance so quickly against your old companion. If only you knew what David did that night...

Zoku could sense the vampire following him among the tops of the buildings...watching his every move.

Ah...a curious one this Grysham is. I like that...yearning to be lead...yearning to learn more. Follow me dear girl, I wont dissapoint you.

It was a couple of hours till Zoku was finally outside the city...walking towards the cliffs of Sydney...the Grysham was still following him...shifting among the shadows out of his view.

I know that you are there...

Finally...he had arrived at the cliffs overlooking the sea. He loved to look at it...the sea which they say has no memory. Taking in the fresh sea air into his nostrals...he called out to her.

''Come out Keitha...I know that you're there. You don't have anything to fear from me...''

For now...

'' See, I have not come with Obilivion as you've asked. Now...show yourself...both of you!''

Zuriel slid underneath Abaddon as he charged, and sliced upwards, just catching Abaddon in the back, making a slight gash. Abaddon stumbled forwards.

"Why do you wish to kill me Abaddon?" asked Zuriel, "We are part of the same clan. We have the same enemies. Why do you wish to destroy our chances of winning the war against Kuroichi?"

"Because you are impure. You are not of the true Myrkur Aniol. The Seraphic legions are the true clan. You are merely a cover for us, a puppet leader. You have no real power in this world," replied Abaddon, clutching his back.

"But why does the leader need to have pure blood? Maybe a leader with impure blood could lead just as well. You and your Seraphic legions are old, weak. This clan needs a strong leader, a young leader. I can lead this clan and I will!" The two warriors charged at each other, and clashed, their weapons slamming together, sparks flying. Abaddon pushed, and his strength outweighed Zuriel's by a great deal.

"I don't care for this war any more, Zuriel. I only wish to lay my demons to rest so I can help the humans."

"Help the humans?" Zuriel groaned under Abaddon's superior strength, "And you call me impure!"

"The humans are the only innocents in this. They do not deserve the punishment you have been delivering to them. They deserve life!"

Zuriel pushed back, and Abaddon flew backwards.

"They are innocents? They are..." he said, suddenly realising the folly of what he had been doing.

"You could kill me here, and I wouldn't care. As long as you stop your killing of innocents, and embrace my way of life, then I care not what happens to me."

"I will stop killing humans. I will allow them to live. They are innocents. I will not become the kind of monster Kuroichi is. They must be allowed to live!"

"Excellent work, Zuriel," said Abaddon. He picked his sword up, and ran at Zuriel, about to plunge it into his back. Zuriel swerved out of the way, and the sword only went into his side, causing pain but not hitting any vital organs or arteries.

The two warriors were left, bloodied and bruised, but still living. No-one knew who would win.

"Kill me, Zuriel," whispered Abaddon, "It's the only way to be respected by your clan. Kill me, and lead the Myrkur Aniol to victory. Not for my sake, but for yours. Do it now!"

Zuriel pulled his sword into the air, then rammed it into Abaddon's chest. It crunched as it went through bone and cartilage, and then pierced the heart. Abaddon stood, and said to the other three generals:

"Let him lead." Before falling to the floor, dead. A cheer went up through the crowd of soldiers, and the three remaining generals of the Seraphic legions moved to the body of Abaddon.

(OOC: This post is made entirely on the assumption that you wanted to let me kill Abaddon, Danethol. If you didn't, or are unhappy with the outcome in any way, just PM me to let me know)

''Come out...come out...wherever you are?'' Zoku was beginnging to become impatient with the vampire. Despite his constant callings...she still would not appear. He could sense her pressence in that place...but because of the shadows, he couldn't tell where exactly.

''I won't play games with you anymore Keitha.'' Zoku began to laugh to himself. ''as much as I love the old days...this is getting redundant.''

''But you know how much I love to play.'' exclaimed Keitha as she seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Zoku's back was turned to her as she approached him.

I can sense that you are upset with me my dear...

''Is it revenge you seek my dear...is that why you've brought me to this desolate place.''

''No...merely to talk.''

You lie...the moonstone senses it...and the opal as well...my dear Keitha...whats going on within you?

Turning to Keitha...he saw for the first time in two months the vampire he once called friend.

''I've heard that you've pledged yourself to Lord Kuroichi now...betraying your devotion to your lover...Serio.''

''My love for Serio will never die...but yes, I have devoted myself serve, as well as Lana's to Kuroichi. How did you know?''

''The earth spoke to me...as it always does.'' Zoku slowly started to pace himself closer and closer to Keitha.

''What interests me more is...how can you serve Kuroichi...for killing your first and one true love, and yet seek such revenge against me for David's death. Do not deny it...it is as bright as day upon your face. Why...explain to me why...''

''I can feel it within you Keitha...'' Keitha stood still as Zoku drifted around her side, circling her...''the darkness growing within you...that constant hunger which you struggle with everyday. I see now how much you did understand me all those months ago...''

''That is true Zoku...I became vengeful towards you once I learned of my Lord David's death...you have no idea what you have taken from me.''

Zoku now was back to back with Keitha as he spoke...''believe me Keitha...it was nothing personal; God knows you may be right for seeking revenge...but you are blind to a certain truth. What David did to me...is far more severe than you realize.''

''Then why don't you tell me?''

''Because its over now...I am what I am now because of him. Yes, I chose to take this path...but he pushed me over the edge...but...why won't you kill me now...as angry as you appear, you aren't fighting me...why.''

Gently...Zoku turned around and slid his left hand across her waist...wrapping her in his arms. His body pressed up against her's as they could feel each others body heats against the breeze of the ocean before them.

''Or is there something you're holding back...something compelling you not to fight me.''

Keitha couldn't grasp what was happening...usually in an instant she would push away. But now, she was welcoming the contact...the pleasure, her heart rate increased as she could feel sensations moving throughout her body. Some she hadn't felt for years.

What the...

''Don't fight it...'' he whispered into her ear as Zoku pushed his fingers through her hair. With the power of the Opal of Thirst...he was giving her the sensation of what she had't felt for ages.

Playing around with her neck...smelling the auroma of her arm...Keitha could feel herself falling deeper and deeper into the seduction...trying to fight it off.

''You are a beautiful woman Keitha; there was a time when I thought I was in love with you...a time when I wanted you. As a human...you fasinated me...but now...I realize how foolish I was; you are one not to be had by anyone.''

Keitha was shivering...''please...stop...''

''Why fight it...I can sense the anguish you feel...your lips not satisfied with human blood. Your vow to Serio, never to drink again.''

She began to remember that night on the battle field, when Kuroichi had taken her lovers life away from her...promising never to drink a humans blood ever again from that night forth. How she wanted Kuroichi's blood spilt over her blade.....but.....that desire has left from her...first supporting his actions; and now pledging her loyalty to him. Had she betrayed her master...was she now betraying her love?

''I don't know what you seek Keitha...but...what is the point of being immortal, if you don't take the time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life?''

With that...a surge of raw emotion and desire flooded through Zoku's fingertips by the power of the Opal and Moonstone into Keitha's belly as her heartbeat intensfied as she gasped for air.

OOC: well I had a 2 page post I was working on and almost had finished...but that was screwed up when I noticed kairi posted. Ah well I'll work around it :)

"Ye be a foolish lad to tempt one such as she," came a strange and unfamiliar voice to Kietha's ears.

She turned her head to see...a priest?

"Ah Colville, you found me already." Zoku muttered.

"Paladin Colville?" Kietha mumbled.

"That's right." Colvilled placed his things on the ground and shuffled with his clothes. "That vampiress ye are messing around with isn't fooled by your tricks. She's beyond them."

Zoku gave a short chuckle and clutched Kietha closer to his body, the Shadow Assassin letting out a slight moan.

"Shadow Assassin Kietha, Lady of Serio. Ye shouldn't be fooling around with one such as she. She may seem to be in your grasp, falling for ye temptation, but she does not feel them as ye would wish. After over four hundred years of nothing, she has trained herself beyond all temptation even from the jewels you and your master use. Ye not believe me, look into her eyes, they will tell ye." Colville placed his hands in front of him, entangling his fingers together.

Zoku burst out laughing, still holding firmly to Kietha. "You've got to be kidding me? No one can resist either the Opal or the Moonstone, they're--."

And before Zoku could finish his statement, Kietha sank her fangs deep into Zoku's wrist. The pain slowly sank into pleasure as Kietha began to draw more and more blood from his arm. The sweet taste of blood filled Kietha's mouth and engulfed her mind and body.

You're right, Zoku. I did want something, but it wasn't revenge. Silly boy.

"The reason Kietha gave up her lust for blood was not only a promise to her lover, but to herself. She did not want to shed blood of those who were naive to her kind or to the true pain of the world. Her lover was the only one able to stop her and her hunt when she was first turned. When she lost him, she was afraid that her lust we destroy the world and everything they had worked for. Now that she has freed herself, not even you are safe." Colville spoke as Kietha drank.

Suddenly Zoku noticed that he was becoming slightly dizzy. The pleasant feeling in his wrist was becoming more of an ache that was crawling up his arm. Kietha sucked harder and harder, her teeth further and further into his flesh.

"Enough!" he yelled, swatting her away. Kietha stumbled back a bit, keeping her face hidden under her hair.

"KIETHA!" a high pitched voice cried out.

Lana rushed from the shadows and to Kietha's side. The vampiress took hold of the Shadow Assassin, trying to get her stand and show her face. Lana kept leaning close to her companions face trying to coax her out of whatever shell she had placed herself into.

"She was starting to drain me..." Zoku mumbled.

"She only wanted one thing from ye, vampire. Your blood and she got it." Colville gave a small chuckle, still keeping his composure.

"Vengance is overrated, Zoku." A sweet menacing voice eoched over the crashing waves.

Both the priest and vampire turned to look at Kietha. The vampiress was standing now, Lana holding her arm. At first glance nothing seemed to have changed, but once she began to speak one noticed her enlarged fangs.

"Why did you want my blood?" Zoku held his wrist.

"You owe me far more than the small sampling I recieved this evening, but this will have to do." Kietha's words were gently slurred and held a strange senses of power. "Now you all will know truly why my Lord took such honor in having me completely loyal to him and why my clan has great respect. For they know the tales of my hand of death." Kietha smiled and turned to Lana. She ran three gentle fingers across the vampiress' face. "Let's have us some fun, Lady Lana. But I don't want simple humans like you use to hunt. Let's fine the vampires that wander these lands and opposed to Kuroichi." Kietha's smile turned even more devilish as her eyes flashed a vibrant green, then amber before turning to their normal state again.

"Sure, Kietha. Anything you want." Lana smiled and nodded as she began to walk back towards Sydney.

"Until next time boys. I look forward to having some fun with you, Colville. I think we could truly show the world what innocents should be." Kietha flashed a pretty smile towards the priest before both her and Lana disappeared into the shadows.

OOC: sorry if the spelling is really bad. its 4 am.

Kuroichi stepped into the dark room, scanning it quickly for anything. His guards were gone, set on leave. And it appears his "friend" did the same.

So Sumiyaka, where are you hiding...

He didn't need his guards anyway. There was nothing Sumiyaka could do to stop him short of bringing in an entire clan. Or certain Vampires...Kuroichi took mental inventory of all the Vampires that could stand a chance against him.

Sole, Zoku, Keitha, the aged Gwyar, and the Seven Archangels. And two of them are mine for now.

A small group, but any one of them could match him in combat. He would have to be careful. Form alliances, find power. Finish...it. He would have to avoid the Gwyar and Myrkur Aniol, if only for a little longer. Gain the Zugai's strength, the Labareda's money. They would make him all but invincible.

Sumiyaka...come out and face me.

"Welcome, Kuro-kun," came Sumiyaka's wispy voice. "I'm glad you arrived."

"What is the meaning of this, Sumiyaka?"

"I have a proposition for you, Kuro-kun. I want to join the Krilat Zmaj."

OCC: *shakes head* now everyone wants to be part of the Krilat Zmaj, before I even got to meet with him...Zoku so used out of context Keitha...oh well.

''So Zoku...ye feeling weak now are we...drained of ye powers by a mistress, you must feel foolish for letting your guard down.'' Paladin Colville said...walking up the vampire; weapons drawn.

''mmmm mmm...hahahaha....''

Strangly, to Colvilles surprise; the vampire was just laughing uncontrolably.

''Whats yer problm mate...?''

Oh Keitha...

Stretching out his arm, as Zoku laughed up into the sky...the Paladin could see the wound was already healed.

I gave you one chance Keitha...I'm dissapointed.

''You fools...are so naive. You're like wolves without a master...I'm surprised you, a simple human understood Keitha's intentions. How you came to know her...or even how you got to this place is beyond me.''

''I'm here fr one thing you...too kill you!''

''Ah...I see you're without a leash now...excellent...''

''Enough!''

But Zoku was already gone...vanishing into the night. Leaving Colville alone on the cliffs.

***Back in Sydney...sitting on the highest tower...looking down upon the city as the sun rose from the east. Hidden among the shadows...Zoku rested.

He looked at the scar at which Keitha had left for him...
Your such a fool Keitha...even if you drank my blood, and you feel stronger. How long do you think that will last? You didn't manage to gain any of my powers...your simply feeling a rush for you haven't tasted blood in so long.

You think so much is deserved to you...what have I done compared to Kuroichi. Pathetic...a pitty Kuroichi has already gained your loyalty. I showed trust...and it was destroyed.

*Shaking his head* Now he's is going to have to decide...between Keitha and I. A shame so much has happened before I've had a chance to speak with him on matters of great importance. Do you understand Kuroichi...Keitha will not co-operate with me...she wants my blood, not yours apparently.

So what will you do now? A hooded figure came from the opposite side of the tower...standing over Zoku sitting down, leaning up against a stone figure of a demon.

''I suppose I will speak with Kuroichi tonight...''

You seemed distraught...because Keitha shamed you.

''I've done what you've asked...I've killed Caine; two other clan leaders have been eliminated.''

However, you disobeyed me by wanting to join with Kuroichi...but what is wrong Zoku?

''Keitha is nothing now, she's chosen her fate now...as I will follow mine now. It's time to stop holding back...*pause* Abaddon may have died tonight.''

I know...I know

''I'm sick of sitting around...damn you Keitha. Never again will I let my guard down to a Grysham...I pitty her little companion Lana. What a hypocrit!''

It seems to me that you're fighting this war for your own purposes...and not Kuroichi's...for Keitha to join the Krilat Zmaj, you will be aided tremendously.

''Maybe so...but what is clan supposed to do when two vampires such as ourselves want to kill one another.''

*silent pause*

''I want them all dead...'' Zoku smashing his elbow into the stone statue.

Good...good...use that anger Zoku. Let go of your hate...you're right...its time to stop holding back your true power. Keitha only sampled a taste...but be patient. Please...

I will leave you now...so that you may rest...and prepare yourself for Kuroichi tonight.

The dark hooded figure placed a hand on Zoku's forhead...

Be well... and it was gone.

Gaia...

Yes my Lord...

Tell Kuroichi I'm still waiting for him. Tell him of tonights evens on the cliffs as well.

As you wish...

Keitha...you Grysham sure do know how to bring out the worst in me. You have no idea what you have just unleashed.

And with that...Zoku drifted into a peaceful sleep.

***A close by Ally way...not too far from Zoku; the hooded figure was surrounded by 4 other men in hooded cloaks.

He is ready...

OOC: Nice post demonchild!

Lana smiled wickedly.
" I've been waiting such a long time to finally hear my friend has returned," she said to Keitha as they prowled the Sydney streets for prey.

Keitha smiled as wickedly as Lana did. It was time for a feast that was long awaited by both Lana and her Lady Keitha. Eternal darkness would reign the whole of Sydney on this most deadly of nights.

Lana held her sais in her hands, twirling them around in esctasy. Keitha held her katana in one hand. Both of the vampire's weapons glinted in the moonlight daringly. They were hunting opponents of Kuroichi - Keitha especially feeling the lust for their blood.

They had tracked some vampires down at a nearby park that overlooked the Harbour. 'The Botanical Gardens of Sydney' it said on the cast-iron gates that were opened slightly. Keitha and Lana could hear murmurs beyond the gates. It was time for a blood-fest.

OOC: Sorry its short.
