Kietha's head swam, her thoughts lost amongst the rapids and waves that flooded her head. Lana was at her side as she passed through the gates, the rank smell of disloyal vampires filling her nose. Kietha ran a careful hand gently across Lana's arm for some sense of reality.

Kietha's body suddenly lurched forward causing the vampiress to grab her stomach and nearly double-over. Lana was soon at her side, bending over the Shadow Assassin. Words rushed from the dark haired Black Widow, but Kietha couldn't make heads or tails of any of it. Kietha's whole body surged and cried out for more--more blood to feed its appeite that had been surpressed for so many centuries. Kietha nearly cried at as she forced herself to stand again. Some how she managed to order Lana to do something and the young vampiress rushed off in another direction.

Kietha closed her eyes and took in a deep breath of the warm Sydney air. The harbor wasn't far and the sea could still be felt creeping across her skin. Kietha threw her eyes open, letting out a sort of hiss escape from her lips. She clutched her sword's hilt and vanished into the shadows.

"Kuroichi is meeting with Sumiyaka as we speak." A male vampire said to another, reaching over the small barrel they had created a table on.

"That stupid bitch. She betrayed us all!" called out another vampire.

"Yelling and cursing isn't going to solve anything," yet another spoke. "We must figure out something to stop Kuroichi before he takes a hold of very one."

"Hello there," the first vampire called out as he turned from the table. "What do we have here."

The other two followed suite as Lana came into view. Her beautiful figure and pretty face taking hold of all three men. She played a devilish little smile across her lips as she pranced forward. All three males were taken by her and began to turn all their attention towards her.

"Hello boys, I thought you could do with some cherring up." Lana spoke seductively.

"Hell yeah!" One shouted as she walked to the center of them.

Kietha watched from her perch, waiting until the moment seemed perfect. She wavered a bit as she sent her shadows to dance about the four youngsters. The males seemed oblivious to the funny little laughs and ackward movements the shadows seemed to be making around them. Kietha listened as their hearts raced with excitement as Lana drew them closer, their foul stench swirling up and taking hold of Kietha. Her head felt heavy, her body surged and ached.

Kietha fell from the tree, landing on all fours perfectly as she flew forward to take one of the men by the throat. She swirled him around and before he could make a sound she sent her teeth into his throat.

"HEY!" some one shouted.

"What's going--." The other was silenced by a strange gurgle as Lana stuck a sais through him.

The vampire in Kietha's grasp struggled and tried to throw her from him, but was rapidly losing control. Harder and harder she pulled his blood from his body, the other vampire attempting to pull her from him. His blood was bitter, not the sweet seculant taste Zoku's had been.

Zoku

Kietha growled and threw her victim away as she pounced onto the one behind her. He let out an awful cry that filled her body with excitement as she began to draw his blood from his body. The same bitter taste came to her tongue as before. She wrinkled her nose and spat him out.

The vampire grabbed a hold of his neck noticing the wound wasn't healing like it should have. His blood poured out over his hand and the pain was far too real. He staggered to grab his sword from his waist. Kietha caught a glimse of his movement and before he could pull his weapon from its shealth, Kietha cut his head from his body. When she swirled around to find where the other one had gone she saw Lana finish him off.

"Ahhhh," Kietha cried out. "They're taste is bitter just as they're hearts towards our Lord Kuroichi." Kietha growled.

Lana only smiled at her companion.

"The sun will be here soon, we must find a place for safety." Kietha turned to Lana. Kietha's thoughts were flooded with the red-black visions of blood and its lust. Zoku, Kuroichi and the woman of silver that was in Kuroichi's room. Her new Lord's bed, her old Lord's head. And all of it was washed away by the crimson red of blood and her body ached for more. The sweet taste of...

"Kietha?" Lana's voice smeared the red curtain away and brought Kietha's attention back to where she was.

Kietha smiled wickedly and laughed. Before she allowed herself to give into the red-black dizziness and fall to the ground.

"No..." a slight sigh left the new Gyshram Lord's lips.

"It seems it is so, my Lord." Jacob bowed before the young Nye.

"What are we going to do? The Shadow Assassin is what kept the Gyshram alive. She was its strength and hidden weapon." Nye shifted uncomfortably in his chair.

"We have others, my Lord. We aren't completely incapable."

"Yes of course." Nye answered, his face fading.

Their was a sudden crash as soldiers rushed into the throne room. Both vampires rushed to their feet as the soldiers drew their weapons. There was a sudden wave of darkness and blood covered everything.

***************************

"NYE!" Kietha screamed sitting up rapidly.

"Its alright Kietha. Nye is home and safe." Lana's sweet voice washed over her darkness as she brought herself to focus.

Kietha turned her head towards Lana, the vampiress sat on the edge of Kietha's bed. "You must...must go to Nye. Send him word that we're attending business here and will be home soon." Kietha's words were uttered slowly as she tried to speak around her teeth.

"I don't think I should leave you." Lana protested.

"I said go to Nye! Do it as soon as the sunsets." Kietha growled as she laid back down allowing the red-black darkness take her under again.

Lana worried about Keitha. She wasn't the same vampiress she thought she knew. It was Zoku's blood that made her go mad.

Zoku.....you will pay for what you have done to her....

Lana looked out of the window. The sun was setting. She stood, looking over her companion who was fading in and out of consciousness frequently. Moving uncomfortably in her cloak, Lana scanned Keitha. Something was definitely wrong with her......but what it was, she didn't know. Lana bent down and kissed Keitha on the forehead.

" Stay alive my dear Lady. I will deliver your message as you instructed me to," Lana whispered as she walked out through the door and made her way up to the roof. It was a cool night. The threat of winter was slowly decending on the city. It wasn't like a New York winter, with snow and the such, but it was cold - chill to the bone. The breeze whipped her cloak around her feminine body as two leather wings burst from her shoulders. She was normally forbidden to use these by Keitha but right now, it didn't matter. With two great gusts, Lana took off into the twilight sky.

****************************

Lightly, Lana landed on the soft grassy lawn of the Gyshram Manor. Stumbling slighty as she landed, she had not had a meal nor rest since she began her way back to the Manor. her wings moulded back into her shoulders. A strange scent wafted in the air. Something was not right.

Melting into the shadows, Lana crept to the front steps under the near full moon. The doors were open. She inspected them. Opened by force - most likely kicked open. Lana stepped inside. Bodies of vampires lay on the floor, most of them face down. She bent down to the vampires that were in her clan and closed their eyes as a sign of respect for the dead.

Walking up the great staircase, Lana steathily moved to the Lord and Lady's throne room. She could not hear any movement in the throne room. Slowly opening the door, she was nothing but darkness. Lana slipped inside, her hands on her Sais handles.

A sudden movement from the curtains made her spin around and throw a Sais at the movement. It hit solid wood. Lana peered around suspiciously when someone grabbed her from behind with a sword to her throat.
" Who are you? Why are you here?" a male voice hissed. The tone was angry and merciless.
" Lord Nye. It is I, the Black Widow," Lana whispered back. Nye relented the sword and let her go. Lana walked over and collected her Sais. She looked up at Nye.
" What happened here?" she asked.
" We were attacked by another clan of vampires. I don't know how many of us are still living," Nye replied. His whole body shook with anger.
" From what I saw downstairs, there is no one left," Lana replied softly. Nye thudded his sword into the floor, making Lana jump in fright.
" Sorry," he grunted his reply. Lana became irritated by his lack of manners.

" Look," Lana said very harshly, " My Lady Keitha is sick. I don't know what of but if you waste my time with your neanderthal mentalities, I will return to her immediately!"
Nye looked shocked at Lana's harsh tone with him, considering he was now the Lord of their clan.
" The Shadow Assassin is ill? That is bad news!"
" Now, my Lady wishes to tell you that we are attending to business in Australia, and that we will be home soon."
" No...." Lana looked at Nye. He had a determined look in his eyes. " I must do what is best for the clan. I will return with you to Australia, with any remaining of our kind. I do not wish to stay here now there are so few of us left."
" Your wish my Lord." Lana bowed before him and left the room.

****************************

Lana and Nye stood at the helm of a large speedboat that raced across the calm night sea. Lana was anxious to return to her Lady, especially in the condition she was in. Nye had collected what remained of their clan, 10 or so others. The fight has truly been an intended slaughter to wipe out the Gyshram.

****************************

Lana stood over her Lady Keitha a few hours later. She and Nye had made the best of the speed they could go in the boat. They had arrived in Sydney Harbour just before dawn and hastily made their way to Lana and Keitha's residence. Nye stood at the end of Keitha's bed, watching the Shadow Assassin tentatively.

Zuriel stood, gasping for air, over the body of Abaddon. He had been a true hero of the vampires. His intentions were worthy, even if his method was not.

"Let the war within our clan be finished," he said to the rest of the Myrkur Aniol, both his legions and the Seraphic legions, "Let us unite and use our strength to destroy Kuroichi and his allies! We shall no longer feed upon human blood, but only upon the blood of our enemies!"

His clan cheered, and he turned to the three Generals of the Seraphic legions.

"What do you say to my worthiness now?" he asked.

"We say that, as the last wish of Abaddon the Mighty, you shall lead this clan. We see now that you are a powerful warrior, and a fair and just leader who loves his men as if they were his own flesh and blood. We grant you, Zuriel, leadership of the Myrkur Aniol." They bowed their heads to him, and he bowed his back.

"Now let us clear the field of our dead. Then we must mourn the passing of Abaddon. He was a great warrior, and a true and honest opponent."

The clearing of the field took a couple of hours, relatively quick for the amount of blood spilled on it. The Myrkur Aniol clan gathered in the throne room, with Zuriel sitting on the throne, with his left and right hands in theirs.

"We salute Abaddon!" shouted Zuriel. Every vampire in the room saluted, and Abaddon's body was placed upon a funeral pyre, burning his body and cleansing his soul.

-----------------------------

"Now we must forge an alliance with the Gwyar," said Zuriel at the meeting of the Myrkur Aniol leaders afterwards, "They hate Kuroichi almost as much as we do, and they will be powerful allies."

"Yes," said Gabriel, "Word has spread that Kuroichi is attempting to form alliances with the Zugai and the Labareda. He will be unstoppable if he does so."

"Then we must stop him. Kuroichi must not be allowed to meet with any Zugai or Labareda, or have any sort of contact with them. We must block all of his communications with them."

"But how?" asked Uriel.

"Simple," said Zuriel, "We need to cut the hardline of his hotel. It is the only way we can ensure that he does not make any sort of communication. Also, we must place a vampire on him to track him, in case he makes any movements."

"We will get our men on it right away, Zuriel," said Gabriel.

"Excellent. Here ends this meeting."

Kuroichi looked taken aback but Sumiyaka merely smiled, walking closer to him. "I've been thinking that this would be the best decision." Kuroichi narrowed his eyes and raised himself to his full height, looking down at the woman in front of him. "I don't trust you." Sumiyaka laughed, "Of course you don't, you're not stupid!"

Kuroichi stepped back and looked at Sumiyaka with a look of clear confusion, he didn't know what this woman was up to but if she indeed wanted to join his cause, she would be of great help. He considered this for a moment before Sumiyaka broke the short silence, sidling up to him and slipping an arm around his waist, "You know you could easily kill me if I betrayed you anyway..."

The male vampire couldn't help but agree, she was no match for him and they both knew it, so there wasn't really anything to lose. "Fine then." Sumiyaka looked up,
"That's it?"
"That's it."
"No hidden...costs?" with the she ran two delicate fingers up Kuroichi's neck, tracing his lips with a gentle touch. His eyes flashed but she didn't stop and instead leant up to kiss him lustfully on the lips before pulling back and smirking once again.

"And what will you do about that, my Lord?"

OOC =P Thought I'd take full advantage of that pretty 'S' rating you got there, babe.

*sniff....sniff sniff* ''....DAVID!?...''

Zoku nearly shot out from his hiding place on top of the tower when he caught the scent of David.

''...wait...'' taking in the essence deeper...''its not David...ah...his son. But why is he here in Sydney?''

The warm air through Zoku's nostrils was pleasant...the start of a new day. Stretching as he hid behind the darkness, he could feel himself at full strength once again.

Ah....much better...the blessings of being a vampire.

Folding his black hood over his head...he put back on his black trench coat and gloves; putting on some sunglasses he lifted up a stone tablet with his other hand that was set ontop of the tower.

''Right where I left you...wonderful.'' Zoku pulled his Oblivion out from the hole and placed the tablet back over it.

I wonder how your doing Keitha... last night he was upset and vengeful towards her...but now he was mellow about last nights events. He was now under control...

It was good to see you again...even if for a moment...oh well. Now...lets see what the buzz is all about down there.

Zoku could sense there was some kind of commotion going on down below somewhere in the city. Staying within the shadows of the tower...Zoku quickly decended to the streets below. He had built up a strong resistance to the light...but preferred not to test his limits in that regard.

After he had gotten himself a snack...he dispensed of the two bodies into a dumpster and walked into a local resturant. Pulling down his hood, and taking off his sunglasses, he now towered over a waitress that was coming over to great him.

''How many will need to be seated this afternoon sir?'' it was a young waitress, kinda cubby...but her blood smelled terrific. ''Um...what is that thing your carrying?''

Oblivion was all wrapped up in a silky black cloth.

''It's a gift for my son ma'am.'' Zoku's voice becoming very persuasive. The waitress was a little scared about this man being in her resturant...he was so big...and those eyes of his.

''Just one please...thank you.'' replied Zoku, at this moment the waitress didn't care as she led him to a small table.

As Zoku sat down, placing Oblivion beside him...''So...what would you like to have this afternoon?''

I want your blood...

''I'd like some cheese eggs with some toast please, as well as the biggest steak you got.''

''Coming right up sir...what would you like to drink?''

Blast...

''A beer please...thank you.''

As much as I would like to take her right now...there were more important matters here...

Zoku had seen the two vampires walk into the restrurant while he was on top of the tower. They sat only two tables away from him...prefect hearing distance, he could taste their auroma, clearly that of the Gwyar.

''I have wonderful news...the Grysham Clan seems to have been destroyed.''

''What?''

What... Zoku was quite curious...an eyebrow rising as the waitress brought him his beer.

''Yes..., there is a rumor that only a select few still survive; the news just came over to us last night. Our fellow Gwyar found the place abandoned, with no sign of the prince.''

So thats why Nyu is here...interesting...

''I don't believe it...do they know who did it?''

''As far as our intellegence goes, we haven't a clue. Obviously someone of power...they seemed to whip out the Grysham like they were nothing...no other bodies were found.''

Sounds like my work...

''This is incredible news...has Lord Dracula heard of this?''

''Yes...and he is apparently here in Austrailia as we speak...''

I know that already...he spoke to me last night...get on with it...

''Apparently...some form of negotiations are taking place between the Gwyar clan and...you know whom?

''Who...?''

''Them...''

He can't mean the Krilat Zmaj...he must mean the angels.

This is working better than I thought...now with Abaddon dead...Zuriel will certainly take control of his clan...and try to form an alliance with whomever they can. The Grysham were certainly already in league with Kuroichi...the next best choice would be the Gwyar.

''I do not know when the meeting is to be taking place...but Dracula is worried with Sole gone missing.''

Missing...

''Yes...I have heard that his where abouts are unknown...as well as for his companion.''

''Come now...I'm tired of this dull place. Humans....they have no taste.'' the two vampires got up from their seats and walked out the side door into the ally.

''Interesting...''

''Here ya go mister...would you like anything else?

''No thank you..'' as she walked away...Zoku dug right in...it had been a while since he last had a decent human meal.

The two Gwyar from the diner went into the alley around the side. They began to talk, when Zuriel dropped down from the wall. The two Gwyar vampires drew their weapons, but Zuriel calmed them.

"I do not wish to fight you, friends," they lowered their weapons, and Zuriel continued, "I wish to make the leaders of your clan an offer."

"Who are you? What kind of offer?" asked one of the vampires.

"I am Zuriel, leader of the Myrkur Aniol, and I wish to form an alliance with the Gwyar clan. Will you take me to the leaders of your clan?"

"Very well," said one of them, "You will be driven there, but you will be blindfolded. Understand?"

"Perfectly. Trust is a hard thing to come by nowadays. This is exactly how I would take anyone to my clan."

They blindfolded him and pushed him into the back of a car. Zuriel could smell the leather. It was a high-quality car, probably a limo. He could also smell the fear emanating from the Gwyar vampires.

After an hour, Zuriel was pushed out of the car, and led into a building. They went through some doors, and up an elevator, and then his blindfold was taken off. Sitting in front of him were three elderly vampires at a highly polished wooden desk.

"Zuriel," said one of them, "It is an honour to finally meet you. I hear you wish to make us an offer. Is this true?"

"Well, sir, we know that your clan hates Kuroichi as much as mine does. We also know that you are the most wise and ancient vampires who walk this earth. We wish to join forces with you, in order to present a force which can be a threat to Kuroichi. Alone, our clans are not enough to defeat him, but together, we will destroy him."

"You are wise to try this, Zuriel. You will lead the Myrkur Aniol well. We will join with your clan, but only to fight the Silver-Haired Demon. After he is gone, our clans will go their separate ways, and we will never interfere in each other's business again. Is this agreed?"

"Very much so, sir. We are glad to have made this arrangement."

"You must sign a contact before you leave, Zuriel. This binds you to our agreement, and if you break it, then you must be punished with extreme force." The leader of the Gwyar took out a piece of parchment, and signed it himself, then offered it to Zuriel, who also signed it. Then they sealed it with their own blood. Zuriel was taken out of the building and dumped back in the alley, where the two Gwyar remained.

Kietha allowed a moan to escape from her lips. She couldn't bring herself for the red-black darkness, so she allowed herself to fall deeper into it.

*********************

Kietha brought her head up with a snap, gasping for breath, blood rushing down her chin and throat. The liquid was still warm and filled her nose with a pleasant ectcasy that was almost undescribable. Her eyes flashed from its deep amber to the stars as her body heaved with lust. Her victim laid lifeless in her arms, their body drapped across her lap and the cool ground. Six other bodies laid scattered in various positions of horror, small drops of blood drizziling from the large wounds on their necks.

Kietha, come back to me.

A gentle voice swipt across her thoughts and brought more ragged breaths to seep from her body. She hissed in protest as she shoved her victim from her lap.

Please come back to me, Kietha. My love.

The voice was enchanting, peaceful and wonderful. Kietha rolled her eyes into the back of her head, closing her lids to allow for the peace to take hold of her body. Her body protested and screamed out for more, her fangs bit into her bottom lip and the tip of her tongue. The small drops of her own blood filtered to the back of her throat and she pulled her eyes back open, her eyes a vibrant green.

"What a mess you have made, my Love." Kietha took in Serio's glorious sight.

He was turned away from her, looking over the seven victims she managed to drain in less than fifteen minutes. His face was creased with disappointment and pain, but when he turned to look upon her his face was filled with nothing but love and happiness.

"You've done well, my Love. So very well." He approached her, pulling a cloth from his back pocket. "You killed the seven traitors with almost little to no notice by the public. You've grown beyond even my abilities as an assassin." Serio smiled as he began to whip away the blood that streaked her chin and neck.

His touch was delicate and loving, each stroke was given just the right amount of care and pressure to free her of the burden she had taken on.

"Fear courses through your veins, my Love. What have I done this eve to make you feel so?" Kietha's words were slurred slightly and an ancient accent followed behind every word.

Serio tried to smile as he finished his work. "Oh my Love, I've grown bitter with myself."

"What have I done to cause such feelings within you, my Love. Please...please speak to me?" Kietha's eyes quickly glazed over as Serio sat back on his heels, checking her over making sure he missed nothing. "Serio...my Love?" Kietha weeped.

"The Gyshram fear that you will destroy them with your blood lust, my Love." Serio tried to smile as he brought his eyes to look at her. He reached up to caress her face and give her some reassurance.

Kietha pulled her eyes from him, tears slowly falling from her face.

"It is not your fault. We did not know that you would have such lust for blood. No one knew that you would be such a vampire even after five hundred years of living as an undead." He pulled her to look at him, his hands as soft as ever.

"I don't want to lose the alliance we have created with the Gyshram. David has been so kind to us." Kietha tried desperately to hold back her tears.

"We won't, my Love. I promise you this." He smiled at her brightly before leaning in to passionately kiss her.

It was only four years after that Serio gave his life for me...Kuroichi, how I've longed to drink your blood. To taste Serio once more.

David sat in his throne chair running his fingers through Kietha's long crimson hair, watching her intently. Her mouth was pressed firmly against his wrist, her fangs had been driven deep into his flesh, and her tongue coaxed his blood to fill her mouth. He watched her lovingly.

"You must stop now, my Shadow Assassin." David's firm voice beckoned for Kietha's attention.

Slowly she pulled herself from him, whipping her mouth of blood quickly so he wouldn't see. She kept her face from him, hiding under the long length of her hair. Her eyes flashed from green to amber before the settled to something in between. The ache that usually filled her body began to lessen as David's blood coarsed through her veins.

"How do you feel?" David's word yearned for her to look up at him.

"Better," she sighed as she brought herself to her feet. She bowed her head, still hiding from him.

"You don't need to hide, Kietha. There is nothing shameful here. You need what I can supply, and I'll do it willingly."

"What of your Lady wife, my Lord." Kietha's voice seemed fragile as if she was about to break.

"She will have to understand that I made a promise to you and Serio to take care of you once he was gone. Liltha knows of your lust. Most of the Gyshram and the other vampires do. You are well-known, Kietha. Few humans transformed into vampires have the lust you do and the control to conquer it." David smiled at her, his voice soft and soothing. "I know your heart aches for Serio and your lust is harder to control now, more than ever. But I have faith in you, my Shadow Assassin."

It took me five years to conquer the thrist for Kuroichi's blood. Not of vengance. Never have I wanted vengance. My targets paid dearly for their betrayal. Oh how sloppy I was when my body longed for blood, but my heart would have none of it. Serio I vowed to never return to this monster, to the Kietha that so many had come to fear. The true Shadow Assassin of old. The taste of loyality is so sweet and that of those who oppose the way of Kuroichi...so bitter. I must taste the sweetness...but I must not betray that which I am loyal to. Must stay with my vow. I must have Zoku. Must have Kuroichi. They're blood is richest. Their lust for death, destruction and the new way fresh. I must have it!

********************

A hiss escaped Kietha's lips as she threw her self up. Her eyes a deep amber, her fangs resting on her bottom lip and her expression almost frightening. The first sight she took in was Nye and then Lana. The scent of the Gyshrams that remained soon filled her as she turned to Nye once more.

"Nye, sweet young Nye." Kietha's voice was soft, vibrant with lust and her words slurred. "The Gyshram are no more. The villian must pay. Allow me to take them, drink their rotten, cursed blood from their body like I did so many centuaries ago for your father. Lana will be at my side or yours, my young Lord. To protect you or to help me. I will obey your command until my dying end."

Kietha pressed as smile to her lips as she tilted her head towards Lana. The young vampiress looked at Kietha with a strange look. The Shadow Assassin took a hold of Lana's hand as she brought her attention back to Nye.

"You will be safe here, any one who ever so much as looks at you wrong, my young Lord, will feel my wrath." Kietha snickered as she pulled Lana closer to her.

Nye stared at her, remembering the stories his father had told him of her lust. The tales his mother and threatened him with, but Kietha's smile was intoxicating. There was something about her words and manner that gave him reassurance as he looked at the lovely Lana. Some how he trusted both of them.

OOC: Um...would any one like to be Kietha's new foe? Or I could just pick a random clan to pursue. I'm sure there's a clan that no one is in or something. Sorry if it was a little confusing.

OOC: Here?s a clan demonchild. I hope you don?t mind me putting them in. I really really wanted to post. I?m feeling particularly evil this night. Ijuuj - The Ijuuj may be the most formal and strict of all the Vampire Clans. Acting as a religious order for Vampires, they fight against the reckless Anarchists of the Zugai Clan. The Ijuuj follow their leaders (called the Kerlek) with fanatical devotion comparable to human fantasists but their greatest asset is their resistance to holy objects, a usual weakness for Vampires. They exist mostly in Western Europe. They have been almost decimated by Kuroichi and the Krilat Zmaj, and all seven of the mystical gems that gave them their holy resistence have been taken. It seems as though the Ijuuj are doomed.

******************************

Lana couldn?t help but smile as Keitha brought her close. She was returning to the Shadow Assassin she heard as legend. No doubt this would prove a fruitful expedition.

Nye looked from Keitha to Lana. Her pretty face was strangely comforting.
? Very well. I will stay here and await your return and the news you bring.?

Keitha stood ? Lana right beside her. Keitha bowed her head slightly.
? Thank you My Lord.?
Keitha strode out of the room, feeling the raw emotion of desire running through her veins. Lana looked at Nye with a tender ?thank you? look and left.

*******************

The two vampiress stood atop a building. Keitha watched over the ledge at the dark streets down below. Lana stood next to Keitha, waiting for the moment when Keitha would signal their attack. Below them was a large group of vampires, their clan known as the Ijuuj.

Lana licked her lips in anticipation.
? Keitha?.. if you make me wait one more minute?.? she started.
? Quiet Lana?? Keitha scolded. Lana hissed at her.

The group below them were talking to each other, oblivious of the threats that lingered above them.

''Well well, things sure are set in motion now aren't they...'' exclaimed Zoku from the shadows of the alley.

Zuriel turned towards the voice and saw a massive figure leaning up against the building with its arms crossed. The being radiated that of evil...a feeling that made Zuriel's stomach turn.

''So...you must be the new Myrkur Aniol Lord, Zuriel, the one who killed Abaddon...his scent is all over you.''

Despite the sudden rush of fear for the being, Zuriel held his ground and confronted the man...looking straight at his face. His eyes were death...like two flames of hell looking from beneathe its hood through the darkness of his sunglasses.

''You know so much of me...how bout telling me who you are?''

''Haha...'' Zoku chuckling...''why, I'm the one who's been killing your precious Myrkur Aniol these past nights.''

''Die you DEMON!'' cried out Zuriel, with his blade drawn, he gabbed it straight at the beings head. Effortlessly moving his head to the left, dodging the attack, Zuriels sword went straight into the brick wall behind him. And in an instant...Zoku thrust his right hand onto Zuriels throat and pushed him into the opposite wall, pressing him upward into the indentation in the brick wall that was created from the force.

''Impressive...foolish...but impressive. You have spirit my friend, no wonder you defeated Abaddon. I was hoping to meet him...but I guess I'm left with you.''

The grasp on Zuriels throat was tightening...unable to breathe...''what...the helll.....are you?''

Zoku released the king from his hold...gasping for air. Standing back, Zoku drew his Oblivion and pointed it at Zuriels throat. ''First...I want you to answer my questions my dear king.''

He had no choice...looking at the beings eyes, even through his sunglasses, he knew he was serious. ''I will answer.''

''Good...now, what business do you have with the Gwyar?'' pressing the blade to Zuriels throat.

Struggling against the point of the blade...''we have made a pack...I, the King of the Myrkur Aniol has pledge my alligence to Dracula, overlord of the Gwyar; in blood.''

Already...that was quick...

''So Dracula is here in Australia...''

No...he is standing not more than 10 feet from you.

''I know you're there Dracula...'' as Zoku turned in his direction.

I followed those two Gwyar who picked up Zuriel back at the lair...they had a slight essense of your scent, I was hoping that they would lead me too you.

''Wait...Dracula, you know this man?'' questioned Zuriel...still being pressed against the wall...a slight cut forming on his neck from the blade.

He is no mere man...please...let Zuriel go.

As much as he wanted to kill him...Zoku lowered his blade, as Zuriel looked back at him in rage.

''Now...who the hell are you?''

''My name is Zoku,'' as Zoku lowered his hood from his head...his black hair falling to his sides. ''I used to be in league with the Gwyar not too long ago...till I turned.''

Zuriel was beside himself...he didn't understand anything the vampire said...only his name...Zoku.

''It's a long story Zuriel...I believe Dracula may be able to fill in the gaps.''

So...you still wont return to us Zoku. I was hoping with time you would come to your senses. I know the moonstone has taken hold of you...but that is no reason to give yourself to Kuroichi.

''That is him to decide now Dracula, we meet tonight...I will have my answer then. You should be more concerned with your own my friend...I sense Sole is falling.''

What...

''I met with Sole the other night...I tried to convince him to join me. All he seeks now is his precious Beth, or Sumiyaka as you are probably well aware of.''

''Where did you see him...it is vital that I find him...he and I must meet'' proclaimed Zuriel after finally pulling his sword from the wall.

''I do not know where he is now...but I await his answer as well.''

So...you still are torn between sides Zoku. As a human...you didn't belong anywhere. And now as a vampire, from what you told me last night...you cannot chose because of her. Your loyalty is with Kuroichi once again, and yet you cannot imagine working with the likes of her. It's a pitty...

Keitha...

''You know nothing old man.'' Zoku's voice was becoming bitter, and dark. ''I've had enough of this...'' pulling his hood over his head he leaped up into the air, falling on top of the neighboring rooftops.

Zuriel was about to follow him, weapon drawn when Dracula grabbed hold of his shoulder. Let him go...

''He has killed members of my clan...he must perish.'' as Zuriel pushed aside Draculas hand.

Zoku has killed many men Zuriel, from all clans...let us be grateful that he didn't kill us this day.

Hearing this...Zuriel showed his sword back into its shealth. ''So what do we do now?''

We prepare for the battle ahead; as for Zoku...we will wait.

*** A few rooftops away from Zuriel and Dracula ***

Kuroichi...I am tired of waiting...I'm coming to meet you now whether you like it or not....Gaia...warn him.

"I was rather surprised to see how weak the Gyshram were without their assassins. Even the Black Widow would have posed more of a threat then the whole clan." The vampire who spoke looked young, but his scent was filled with the ancient flesh of his clan.

"Its ashame that Kuroichi has wasted his alliances with such a piteful clan." Another spoke, his appearance was much older looking than the first.

"He should have just destroyed them." A vampire some where between them added.

Kietha hissed at their comments, but tried to keep her appearance low. There was at least two dozen Ijuuj, maybe more. Their scent ancient and almost sweet. Lana was filled with anticaption, the same anticaption that filled Kietha's body. Something told Kietha to wait. They were still too far apart for them to attack.

"It would have been too time consuming with both the Black Widow and the Shadow Assassin running about the underground city. He was wise, even in his youth, to take an alliance with them while the assassins were still there." The eldest appearing vampire replied.

The rest of the Ijuuj filtered into the baren streets. Kietha wasn't sure what they were doing, but the three that she had over heard seemed to have been the leaders of the group. The began to create a circle with the three in the center.

"Lana," Kietha drew the vampiress attention to her. "Stay above them, in the darkness. Start to take out those on the far outside." Kietha flashed a smile of joy.

Lana returned the smile and without questioning lept from the building, disappearing into the darkness. Kietha's smile grew as she watched the circle grow as the others filtered in. Slowly Kietha could see a vampire drop, the others almost completely oblivious to it.

"You shall pay for the death you have brought and the pain you have caused." Kietha whispered, allowing the shadows to take her words down to the Ijuuj.

The Shadow Assassin lept from her perch and onto the ground. Her vision covered in the red-black darkness, her body ached for blood and all she could think of was death. She darted forward, her blade drawn.

Upon seeing Kietha rushing towards the crowd, Lana dropped to the ground and pulled her sais into action. Both assassins, with great stealth and little effort, began to destroy what seemed to be the last of the Ijuuj. Blood splashed and splattered every where. Soon the circled Ijuuj began to realize they were under attack and began to fight back, protecting the three in the center.

Kietha was lost in her motive. The scent of blood and the death that she was bringing filled her with an insane lust. She slashed, sliced and drove her beautiful sword Chaela into her opponets. Her goal--the three in the center. Their blood would taste the sweetest.

It was a matter of minutes before Kietha and Lana had destroyed all those that stood between them and the three main Ijuuj. Both vampiresses chuckled at their good furtune. They began to encircle them as the Kerlek drew their own swords.

"Such ville madness needs to be destroyed." The eldest spoke.

"Ville?" Lana questioned, a smile upon her pretty face.

Kietha snapped her jaws at the youngest, smiling as he jumped back from her. "You pretty little Kerlek aren't use to fighting your own battles, now are you?"

"Don't let her tricks scare you, Jeroen. She is nothing but another vampiress lost in her lust for revenge." The eldest spoke again.

"Revenge?"

"Kuroichi and Zoku, I think they mean." Lana spoke, drawing a tilted head from Kietha.

"Revenge. Revenge is for those that holds something against some one. I don't want their deaths," Kietha spoke softly bringing her attention back to the Kerlek. "I am loyal to Kuroichi and Zoku is loyal to him as well. Loyality is one's salvation from my wrath." She smiled at them, giving a quick glance to Lana. The young vampiress took the sign and pouned on the youngest Kerlek.

She sank her teeth deep into his neck, drawing his blood into her mouth. A slight moan escaped from under her lips. This told Kietha that they were sweet. Kietha tilted her head to the side, smiling as she walked slowly forward towards the last two. Before either could react, she was upon the next youngest, drained him of his blood, and threw him away.

Kietha threw her head up to the sky, allowing the fresh blood to trickle down her throat. It was bitter-- bitter with hatred for Kuroichi, but far sweeter than those she had before. Her eyes burned a vibrant amber as her whole body pulsed with ectcasy. She could hear Lana's footsteps racing quickly down the street, more than likely after the eldest. Lana tackled him and was ready to end his life.

"NO!" Kietha screeched.

Lana brought her head around to look at Kietha, the vampiress' head still thrown back. "But why not?" Lana seemed displeased.

"Haah," Kietha gasped as she brought her eyes to meet Lana's face. "I have questions for this one."

Lana squinted her eyes, but drew the vampire to stand with her. She thrusted the elder vampire forward as Kietha made her way towards them.

"Tibor, is it?" Kietha's words were slurred, but aannunicated carefully. She brought a hand up and ran her fingers carefully across the vampire's face.

"Keep your hands from me, you ville mistake." He yelled at her, pulling his face from her fingers.

"Mistake?" Kietha hissed, bringing her face close to him.

"Serio should have never changed you. You should have died as a mortal." The vampire spat at her, staring directly into her eyes.

"Oh, but Serio did change me. What have you against Serio's Lady?" Kietha brought her face closer to his, grabbing a hold of his throat quickly.

"Serio was a respectable vampire, made from Dracula. He should have never created something from human flesh and emotion. No vampire should be made from human flesh and emotion. You and your kind will destroy what is left of the true vampires." Tibor cursed.

Lana pulled the vampire's arms taunt behind his back as Kietha dug her nails deep into his throat.

"You dare insult me while your life rest in my grasp?" Kietha growled.

"What does it matter, Shadow Assassin? You'll kill me no matter what I do." Tibor glared at her, he began to gasp for breath.

Kietha let him go and spun around. Lana shoved a sais into his back, warm blood covering her hand.

"You're right. I am going to kill you." Kietha smiled to herself, her back still facing them. "But I must know, Kerlek. Why did you attack the Gyshram if they were no threat?" Kietha spun around then to look at the vampire.

"The Gyshram had grown to be a disgrace to the vampire heritage. Taking in tainted vampires and taking an alliance with such a villian as Kuroichi." Tibor held his head proudly as he spoke his few little words.

"So you had the Gyshram nearly destroyed because they didn't conform to the old way of the vampires?" Kietha sneered at him, a wave of lust feeling her.

Lana shoved the vampire forward and right into Kietha's grasp.

"Are there more of you Ijuuj still lurking around here or any where?" Kietha held his throat firmly with one hand as she ran the other across his face.

"We were the last." He gasped.

"Good." Kietha drove her teeth deep into his throat, a rush of blood filling her mouth. "Ah!" she bellowed throwing him from her. "You are ville, poisioned with disloyality and hatred. Not even my lust can stomach your bitterness. You may have him, Lady Lana." Kietha swirled around, listening to the sounds Lana made as she destroyed Tibor.

"Now we must go back to Nye." Kietha said as she began to head back to where they had left him and the remaining Gyshram.

**********************

"It is done, my young Lord." Kietha bowed, falling to one knee in front of Nye.

Lana only bowed her head quickly as she stood next to Kietha.

"No one shall threaten you again, my young Lord. Not as long as Lana and I serve you." Kietha smiled as she disappeared into the depths of the room.

"Now I know why my mother felt so threaten by her." Nye spoke suddenly.

Lana watched Kietha disappear before bringing her attention back to Nye.

"Kietha shows her loyality so violently that if my mother were to show any distrust or ill manner towards my father, Kietha would have killed her. Or at least, in the beginning. I've never seen her like this, and it leaves me to worry."

"She wouldn't do anything to hurt you, Nye." Lana spoke up.

"Not on purpose or directly. But if I were to take a lover or I were to go into battle. Kietha may not care too much for it. And I don't want to let her attentions control me like they did my father. He was too afraid to admit to the love he had for her. He didn't want to lose my mother because he knew that Kietha would never turn from Serio. So he gaver her everything that he could, including his own blood to help with her thirst. I admire Kietha and love her, but not like my father. Never like my father."

OOC: Hey ULX, hope you didn't mind that we whipped out the rest of the Ijuuj. If this isn't ok, I'll change it.

Burning. Kuroichi was burning. He could feel something writhing in his veins, warm and pleasent but fierce at the same time. As sleep slowly faded from his mind, he recognized the feeling. Passion. Passion like none he had felt in many years. Lust, pride, and pleasure coursed through him. A potent fuel for the passion that inflamed his heart.

He slowly brought and arm from the blankets to his mostly uncovered chest. Another arm was resting there, not his own. A woman's.

Sumiyaka's.

Kuroichi slowly rose from his reclining position, and looked down at the slumbering Vampiress at his side. Her face was peaceful, calm and serene. And he noticed, with a mixture of anger and pride, the smug satisfaction that carressed her features.

Kuroichi felt that same smugness rising in him. Through his many years of life, he had been with many women. Stolen many hearts. And tasted flesh from Japan to Denmark. And no conquest was as trying, or as fulfilling, as she had proved. Images flooded into his mind, affirming the worth of the trials he had endured in capturing her as well.

"And what will you do about that, my Lord?"

Those were her words as she pulled away. That smirk called to Kuroichi, the taste of her lips, the devious promises locked in her eyes. And he had only one thing he could say.

"I will make you mine."

And he had. The deal had been struck, the alliance forged in the fires of lust and frenzied passion. The climatic spark of pleasure the final pen stroke on the contract. She was his. She was Krilat Zmaj.

Kuroichi slowly pulled her arm from his midsection as he stood, bare and shining in the morning glow. Already the gems were empowering the newest Krilat Zmaj, he noted. Sumiyaka looked glorious in the golden light. A radiant goddess that was his alone.

A loud clatter disturbed Kuroichi from his ruminations. The lock on the window rattled, and Kuroichi flung the shades wide, prepared to smite the assailant with a single bolt of blood. However, the very moment that the blade began to form, he took in the familiar scent. TWO familiar scents.

Zoku and Keitha were at his window.

And yet, only one entered. The hulking Vampire stepped in, shrugging off his heavy cloak. An imposing figure to say the least, towering, dark, eyes blazing. But even naked and unarmed, Kuroichi didn't flinch for a moment under Zoku's withering gaze. The titan stared down at the demon, and the demon smiled.

"Ohayo, Zoku-kun," Kuroichi said cheerfully.

"I apologize for...disturbing you, my lord," Zoku said, eyes flickering away modestly.

"No need. It is my fault for putting off our meeting for so long," Kuroichi said, waving on hand absent mindedly.

He turned and pulled on a blood-red satin robe lat lay across a plush red chair. He gazed to Sumiyaka briefly, making sure that she was adiquately covered. Though Kuroichi was not especially modest, he did not appreciate men seeing what was rightfully his without his consent.

As he stared, Sumiyaka's eyes fluttered open. She stretched languidly like in a very feline manner. As she turned to face Kuroichi, her eyes flickered to Zoku.

"Why is he here?" she asked calmly, drawing the blankets around her. She walked over to Kuroichi, placing a hand upon his shoulder.

"Be...Sumiyaka?" Zoku gasped. "Why...?"

"Sumiyaka has joined the Krilat Zmaj, Zoku," Kuroichi said plainly, flashing a brilliant smile. "Do you have any...qualms with this matter?"

"Of course not, master Kuroichi," Zoku replied, eyes moving away from the two. It made something rise in his stomach to see how easily Sumiyaka was wooed by the Silver-Haired Demon.

"Sumiyaka, I believe that it would set Zoku-san more...at ease if you were clothed," Kuroichi said, leaning close to Sumiyaka. It took a generous amount of will to keep himself from tasting her once more. The smell of her, the warmth of her breath, her radiant beauty...almost too much for one Vampire to bare. "Meanwhile, Zoku and I will discuss the business at hand. I'm sure you'll have pleanty to add as well," he assured, making sure Sumiyaka realized that she was still viewed as an equal. The last slur that Kuroichi needed to have hurled his way was sexist. His eyes flickered quickly back to Zoku. "Now, shall we begin discussing matters? I'm afraid I have little time, for tonight is my meeting with the Zugai."

*****

I hope everyone is happy so far? Sorry again to you kairi for putting off the meeting with Zoku. And thanks to you, Methuselah, for using the S I had planted. Perhaps there will be even more room for spice in the future, ne?

OCC: Its aight ULX...just gonna change things up abit:)

With Sumiyaka going back to the bedroom to change...Zoku and Kuroichi both took a seat. He had missed being in the presence of his friend, so much has happened...he didn't know where to begin. To imagine, only a couple months ago these two wadged war over on another, both coming to the brinks of death. And yet now...here they were, sitting with one another.

''It has been a while...my old friend; you've changed...indeed the gems have made you powerful.'' Kuroichi finally speaking. ''I hope I am in good company, choosing to meet with you.''

''You are my Lord, as you've been told...you haven't anything to fear from me.''

''So it seems, I've heard a great many things. I've heard that you've been looking for me. As well as your quarel with Keitha...I'll be the first to apologize for her actions. I don't know why she came down on you in that manor, but neither the less...she is Krilat Zmaj. And she will be treated as such Zoku-sun...do you understand?''

''Crystal, however I cannot promise anything the next time it happens.'' Zoku had a harsh tone to his voice, he still had the scar from where Keitha had bit him. His primative side demanded satisfaction. She had spilt his blood, one day he must return the favor.

''Understood, I encourage you Zoku to let it go. I'm sure Keitha had her reasons, and it will be brought to light in time.''

''Yes my Lord...''

Kuroichi leaned back in his chair...staring at the titan, trying to get a read on his feelings. Despite the essence of the Darkness Moonstone running through his veins, something was obviously on the mans mind.

''Are you displeased Zoku-sun, for bringing Sumiyaka into the clan.''

''Merely confused Kuroichi...*shaking his head* you and your women. It seems you have a thing for them when it comes to recruitment.''

Both men laughed to themselves; it was quite true, Kuroichi always had his eyes on the opposite sex. Through all their battles together in the old days, during their conquest of Japan, more and more females would join their cause.

''She is quite lovely, I'll admit Kuroichi; you've done well for yourself. And from what I've heard, quite the warrior as well. However it does hinder my plans as well.''

Zoku rose from his chair and walked to the window with his...''you know of the Ijuuj's demise do you not Kuroichi?''

''Aye...that I do.'' Kuroichi himself getting out of his chair, coming towards Zoku.

''I present you with a gift...'' and at that moment, two dark hooded figures appeared by Zoku's side as they came through the window.

Kuroichi's eyes turned red, not flinching for a moment; but the demon produced two blood claws on each arm...ready for battle. ''What is the meaning of this Zoku-sun?''

''I've killed many vampires in your name...and you still do not trust me. By my hands, I have killed David, Lord of the Grysham...Caine, Master of the Gwyar...even that of a certain Ijuuj. The one they called Night Rider...''

The claws slowly dripped away, Kuroiching seeing that Zoku had no intention of fighting him. ''What...''

''These are two of my demons my Lord, created by blood...with the combination of the Darkness Moonstone and the Opal.''

''Yes...I've been told of such a gem, Caine's first...''

''And this my Lord...'' as one of the demons put a chain in Zoku's hand...''is the Pearl Fang.''

''Excellent Zoku-sun...indeed you have brought great news.'' Kuroichi could only with that great big smile of his. Zoku remembers it far too well...to see his master pleased with his work.

''My demons were more than enough for him back in Paris while I was away...you would have the rest of the gems if it weren't for Sumiyaka.''

''What...'' again, Zoku surprised him. He was being very blunt about himself, even with Sumiyaka in the other room.

Zoku indeed has changed quite a lot over these past couple of months.

Zoku, clearing his throat...explaining himself to Kuroichi...''Sole is here in Australia at this moment; for one purpose, and one purpose only...to find Sumiyaka. I met with him the other night, and he was eating out of my hands master. The darkness within him grows, what an ally he would be. However, once he finds Sumiyaka, he will know in an instant that she is now with you...and will be drawn by vengence to kill you at any cost.''

''I see...'' Kuroichi crossing his arm...again, in thought.

''And from as well as I know you Kuroichi, for such a prize that you have claimed for yourself...you will not let her go back to Sole...and seduce him to join us. The Gwyar and the Myrkur Aniol have joined forces this day...making Zuriel, the new King of the fallen, as well as Dracula and Sole even more dangerous.''

''I'm sorry you plan didn't work out the way you planned Zoku-sun, but what is done is done...and we will live with it.''

''Indeed my Lord...so for the time being, I will hold onto my gems...and one day, I will give them all to you. But not yet...my work is not finished.''

''As you wish Zoku-sun, I will call for you when I need you.''

However Zoku didn't respond...he still perfectly still in concentration...
''He is here...''

Kuroichi could sense it too, both the Death Diamond and the Skull Sapphire were nearby. Then there was a knock on the door, turning Kuroichis attention away from Zoku towards the door...with a unfamiliar voice shouting ''Beth!.''

''It must be Sole and his apprentice Jinsei......so it has begun.''

As Kuroichi turned back towards Zoku...he was already gone, a gentle breeze blowing through the blinds.

OCC: Hopefully that was good for ya...hopefully Sole-Energie posts...since now we're finally back on track with time and everything:)

Sole heard movement from inside and braced himself. The door swung open and there stood a silver-haired vampire, his energy almost visible. Sole had never seen this being before, but he knew who it was. It was Kuroichi. Sole shivered slightly, overwhelmed. He could sense Jinsei's nervousness also. Kuroichi held out his hand and smiled.

"Ah, so you must be Sole. A pleasure." Sole held his hand out hesitatingly, not sure of what to expect. Would Kuroichi attack him, or was he really trying to welcome him. Kuroichi merely shook his hand, allowing Sole to get a glimpse of his strength.

Some handshake...

Kuroichi gestured to the inside of the house and Sole and Jinsei walked in.Sole got a strong sense of Zoku's aura, but could tell the behemoth was no longer present. Sole took a seat and motioned fo Jinsei to do the same, the directed his attention to Kuroichi.

"Sorry that I must get straight to buisness. Up until now you were my enemy...but now I would like to propose an idea. My accomplice and I would like to--" Sole was cut off by a figure entering the room.

"Is Zoku gone, Kuroi--" Sole almost fell out of his chair when he saw who it was. It was Beth...Sumiyaka. Sumiyaka looked at him and instantly knew who it was, though she had not seen him before like this. She smiled at Sole and hugged him, then walked to Kuroichi's side.

"So...you've decided to join us." Sumiyaka spoke gently, almsot as if she was happy that Sole was joining them. Sole couldn't tell anymore. He was speechless. He had come looking for her, only to find she now belonged to Kuroichi. His heart was torn, but at least one thing had been decided.

She's with Kuroichi...meaning I no longer have to worry about her being my enemy. Now to do what I came here to do...He looked up at Kuroichi and Sumiyaka.

"I want to join the Krilat Zmaj. There is no longer need for me to follow the Gwayr. They are weak fools who will fall to your might."

Kuroichi stared at him, unsure of what to think. Sole grinned.

"Allow us to be your allies, and our strength is at your disposal...as our the energies of the Skull Sapphire and Death Diamond. However, if you don't mind, I'd like to hold on to the gems."

Sumiyaka whispered something into Kuroichi's ear and he nodded. Kuroichi the tirned back to Sole.

"Seeing as how another of my newest allies appears to trust you...I will allow you into the clan. But do not think of treachery, for I will kill you myself if you attempt tp betray me." Sole laughed and sttod up, walking towards the door. Jinsei followd behind. Sole turned back to his new master.

"Tonight I will attempt to reason with Dracula and Zuriel, to bring them to your side. If not..a battle full of bloodshed will ensue. And next time you see me...I may not be the same..." Sole smiled at Sumiyaka, "It was great to see you Sumiyaka. I'm glad you're doing well. Farewell."

A couple of minutes later...

Sole and Jinsei walked into an illumimated park and approache two figure standing in the darkness. The figures stood, revealing themselves to be Dracula and Zuriel. The four began talking, and Dracula and Zuriel became dismayed.

"Join Kuroichi!!" Dracula shouted in rage, "Never. I would rather be ripped apart limb by limb than join that demon." Zuriel nodded in agreement.

"He's a monster, unworthy of our alliance. He deserves nothing but death!" Dracula nodded.

"I'm extremely dissapointed that you would join hi---" Sole punched Dracula in the face. Jinsei gasped as Dracula flew into a wall. Zuriel ran to his side.

"Always telling me what to do....Always scolding me...well no more..prepare for the true, the final entity that is I!!!" Suddenly Sole was back in that empty space, once again confronted by that powerful figure. It held out it's hand.

"Ready?" Sole nodded and laughed.

"I can't wait to see the true me..." Sole and the figure walked into each other and merged. A bright light engulfed Sole, blinding Jinsei, Zuriel, and Dracula. After the light faded, there stood a new figure. He had blonde hair with black at the ends. He was wearing a silver and black jacket with a long-sleeved white shirt underneath. His long, baggy black pants covered his sneakers and his googles morphed into shades. The figure grinned, piercing them with his silver eyes.

"Well...this is more than I could have ever hoped for. Such darkness...Such light...Such...POWER!! Meet Dusk!!" He grinned and assumed a battle stance, but noe before sending a telepathic link to Zoku, telling him to come and enjoy the bloodshed. Zoku was there instantaneously. Dusk smilled.

"Prepare to die..."

" I admire Kietha and love her, but not like my father. Never like my father," Nye said, looking at the last spot Keitha knelt.

Lana walked up to him. Her lust for men seemed to dim in the presence of Nye. The other Gyshram looked elsewhere's, not at their Lord nor Lana. She looked into those dark eyes of his. They seemed to radiate with power and kindness.

Then she realised something.

The lust she had for men....the reason why she had always stalked them...was fading....or rather...being directed to one single person. Nye.

Lana placed a hand on his shoulder kindly. Never in her life had she been taken with one man. They all seemed so handsome to her...but it seemed that Nye was more handsome, more powerful than any of the mortals or other vampires. Her heart thumped hard in her chest as her hadn lay on his shoulder softly.

Nye placed his hand on hers and gave her a warm smile. Lana retracted quickly as a thought crossed her mind.

What if Keitha has it in her mind that she will take Nye for her own....then I must do what is right....if she desires him, then I cannot stop her....

Nye looked at Lana strangely. Why had she retracted her hand so quickly? What was she intending?

Lana walked to the window and looked out. The sun was slowly rising and Keitha had not returned yet, wherever she went to.

I'd wish she'd take me with her...... Lana growled angrily Always leaves me behind....I hate it

Zuriel and Dracula stood opposite this new being, Dusk, Jinsei, and Zoku, the titan. They were all ready for battle. But Dusk and Zoku both held the power of the gems, and Zuriel and Dracula held none. This would be a short battle by all means.

Dusk charged at Dracula, and Zoku ran at Zuriel. They clashed, Zuriel drawing his weapons the moment Zoku swung his. The weapons clashed, sparks flying onto the floor. Dusk and Dracula were already in a fierce battle next to them. Zuriel attempted to hold Zoku, but Zoku's amazing strength pushed him to the floor. He stabbed downwards towards Zuriel, who rolled out of the way, and slashed at Zoku's feet as he tried to draw his sword from the soft ground. He caught Zoku across the ankle, and blood trickled out, only a scratch appearing.

Zoku laughed, and said:

"You attempt to hurt me, Fallen?"

"I do, behemoth."

"Why? You know you can never win against me!"

"I fight because I wish to uphold what is right! I fight to allow the memory of Abaddon live on! Kuroichi stands against everything Abaddon ever fought for. So I fight not to win, but to go down honourably, as Abaddon did!"

"You seem to follow Abaddon well, and yet only a few hours ago you fought him as fiercely as you fight me now! You seem to have mixed loyalties, Zuriel!"

"Perhaps. But at least I fight for what is right!"

He swung at Zoku, who dodged easily, and swung the sword Oblivion at Zuriel. It caught him in the chest, and flung him against a tree. Blood dribbled slowly down his robe, but he still got up.

"You are a persistent one, Zuriel," said Zoku, apparently amused by Zuriel's resistance, "I shall have to put you down completely!" The titan charged at Zuriel, his eyes blazing, hungry for blood...

***In The Park: Night began to cast itself over the city***

''No wonder Abaddon found favor with you...maybe you are indeed worthy to lead the Myrkur Aniol.''

''I am the King of the Myrkur Aniol demon...I will do what is needed in order for my people to survive.''

Zoku walked closer and closer towards Zuriel, leaning up against a tree...his wound on his chest regenerating slowly. ''You killed Abaddon, and for that...I respect you...but...you will die this night.''

Oblivion drawn, Zoku held out the katana to his right side, preparing himself for another attack.

''We'll let our blades decided who is to take the glory from this field.'' replied Zuriel.

This man is indeed worthy to rule, he shows the same tenacity as Kuroichi...interesting.

In a burst of speed...Zoku charged at Zuriel, swinging Oblivion across his chest. Zuriel lifted up both of his short swords to block to attack...it was intense...pushing Zuriel back. Holding his blade to his left...Zoku charged again with his right shoulder, hitting Zuriel square in the chest.

Zoku kept running...crashing right into the wall...but he kept going. With his massive body, Zoku burst through the wall with Zuriel still being pressed up against his shoulder. Going through the wall...both Vampires found themselves in the middle of a street with incoming traffic.

Zuriel flew from the impact of Zoku's shoulder, as Zoku swung his blade back to his right side, catching Zuriel in his belly, as he collided into the side of a passing car. Zoku turned to see a car blaring its horn for the behemoth to move out of the way...it had no time to stop, it was going to hit Zoku. But he didn't move...instead, he stretched out his hand and blew the car away with a small amount of energy. The car exploded...causing a huge pileup of cars in the street.

As Zoku turned around...Zuriel lunged his two short swords into Zoku chest. The titan cried out in agony as he punched Zuriels face, causing him to pull out the blades. Catching himself on his feet, Zuriel stared up at Zoku, looking down upon him. But Zuriel contained himself, despite the pain he felt, he lifted up his swords in preperation.

''You're bleeding my king.'' a smirk came upon Zoku's face, as his wounded healed up instantly...Zuriels were only slowly healing.

''Not enough it seems; for I still stand!'' Zuriel charged at him in full force. Slashing and jabbing with his short blades in unison. Surprisingly, as big as the titan was, Zoku was easily able to wield his long katana to block and dodge his attacks.

Is Zoku just toying with me...he's not attacking me.

Zuriel kept at it though...as he leaped back for another charge, Zoku stretched out his hand and blasted Zuriel away with another energy blast...sending him to the wall on the side of the street. As Zuriel collided, Zoku was right on him...thrusting a knee into his mid-sectionm making him drop his two swords. Zuriel caughed up a spat of blood from the impact...

Zoku grabbed his throat and began running up the side of the building carrying him with him. When he reached the top, Zoku tossed Zuriel into the air flying across to the middle of the street when Zoku kicked off the wall in a somersault, spinning in the air, Zoku connected with a kick right on the back of Zuriel, drifting in the air as he descended back towards the street pavement.

The impact hitting the ground created a fairly large crator...Zoku, still drifting in the air, thrusted his body weight towards Zuriel on the ground. ''This is the end of you Myrkur Aniol.'' As Zoku's fist came right at Zuriels' head,Zuriel quickly leaped out of the way, his wings visible now with him flying in the air...

''SHIT!'' as Zoku's fist went right into the pavement, hitting nothing but air.

Zuriels eyes were like the flames of hell...his anger was building as his pain intensified, he could feel his body giving way...he was going on will alone now. Going into a trance, Zuriel began using his telekinesis to throw cars at the behemoth.

The first one crashed into Zoku's left shoulder, sending a shock of numbness down his arm. Placing Oblivion back into its sheath on his back, the second car Zoku hit to the side easily with his good arm. A third came at him, Zoku shot out another energy blast, and sent the car flying, going right back at Zuriel.

He moved out of the way easily...and create a ball of fire in his palm, and threw it at Zoku...it hit Zoku right in the chest, exploding on impact, making all of Zoku's upper body to burst into flame. He quickly took off his trench coat and shirt off...revieling the old ying and yang dragon tattoo on his back (back in the first HTDD).

Zuriel then continued to throw multiple amounts of fire balls onto the street. His aim was random, hitting everything and anything in sight. Zoku easily was able to dodge the blasts as they exploded nearby windows, cars, and sidewalk stores.

''Enough...'' said Zoku underneathe his breath...and a dark pulse shot out of his body...intensifying with every burst. Zuriel was blown backwards due to its evil power, and came back down to the street from the sky. The feeling intreged him...all he could do was stare at Zoku as gathered his energy, as he tried to catch his breathe.

*chuckle*...''.......my turn....'' said Zoku as he shot right at Zuriel...with a little energy ball in his hand. Zuriel didn't have enough time to respond as Zoku hit him with his fist right into his chest. Zoku didn't stop his onslaught as he continued to bash and jab at the angel. He grabbed his head with his huge hands and rammed Zuriel again straight into a wall, his head inside the brick wall itself.

Dragging his head across the entire wall, leaving a deep horizontal gap in the building as it began to collapse upon the street. At the end of the wall...Zoku leaped up into the air with Zuriels head still in his grasp and crushed his head right into the pavement of the street. Zoku stood up...and marveled at his work, Zuriel lying motionless...but alive.

Now...time for Dracula... as Zoku walked to his now burned up trench coat and picked up Oblivion. He then went back through the hole that was created earlier in the wall connecting to the park, as Zoku took witness to Dracula's and Dusks battle; Jinsei standing off to the side in shock to Sole's transmormation. Kietha let out a moan of pleasure as she pulled her head away from the neck of a woman. The woman's body laid limp in Kietha's arms, her skin pale and her face locked in a small scene of ectcasy and pain.

Kietha's eyes rolled into the back of her head as the woman's blood coursed through her veins. The warmth filling her with pleasure and making her yearn for more. It was never enough. The small rush faded quickly and Kietha brought herself back to the woman in her arms. She hissed at it and threw it from her.

Kietha tilted her head to the sounds of a fight. She listened to it, ignoring the fact that random humans were starting to wander by her. It was a powerful battle and the smell of spilt blood washed over her. She pulled her lips back and took a deep breath through her teeth.

Kietha brought her attention back to her surroundings when she began to hear whispering. There was about a dozen or so people crowding around the body she had discarded. She watched them, with a smile, at their curiousity.

"Would you like to witness death again?" She spoke loud enough for all the people to hear her.

Most paid no attention to her, but some did look in her direction. She smiled at them and they seemed taken-a-back at her strangely large fangs. They began to tap and poke the others, motioning towards her. Before any one truly had time to react she began to feed on them. The screaming chaos drove her thrist to be stronger as she drained each quickly, moving onto the next running victim. Before too long, the street was littered with bodies. All pale and left in a scream of pleasure and pain.

"You all are empty. Not what I need." She tilted her head again allowing the remains of the fresh blood run through her veins. "I must have sweeter. Humans are too plain." Kietha spoke aloud, as if she was talking to some one.

Kietha took in a deep breath through her nose, smelling the air. It was thick with blood--disloyal blood. Kietha smiled as she reached to her side to touch Chaela. She twisted her fingers around the hilt, digging her nails into the wrapping on it. Her body ached and the smell of fresth blood got the better of her. She followed its scent, racing among the streets with her shadows when she came upon the chaos left in the streets. Fire, pilled cars and blood streaked across her sight as she cautiously made her way onto the scene.

Zoku...

Smoke filled Kietha's nostrils, smoothering the scent of blood. The cries of dying humans and their loved ones flickered in and out of her ears. Kietha sent her plentiful shadows to search for any vampires.

Kietha's attention was brought to a strangely corrupted wall. The horizontal streak that stretched almost down its complete width drew her in. A sudden smell of disloyal blood rushed over her and she pulled her head quickly down to see a fallen vampire.

"A Myrkur Aniol." Kietha smiled as she bent towards him. Uncontrollable lust rushed over her as she not only smelled his blood, but saw it. She reached out and ran her fingers over one of his wounds. The warm red liquid covered them; she quickly pulled them up to her lips and shoved them into it.

Kietha let out a slight growl, tasting its bitterness. She clenched her fists when she heard the sounds of another battle taking place and familiar presence.

"Could it be, my dear Dracula." Kietha whispered as she stood.

A sudden rush hit her, nearly knocking her to her knees. She braced herself on the crippled wall as her head swam. The red-blackness took a hold of her sight and a dizziness from lust consumed her body.

"Zoku..." a seductive growl left Kietha's lips as she pushed herself to her feet, forcing herself to stand up straight.

Kietha forced herself to walk through the mess that was left and follow the ever stronger pull towards the thing that had given her back her lust. When Zoku's powerfully built form came into sight Kietha wavered a bit, her lust so strong and the red-blackness overwhelming. She sent her shadows out, but was unable to see or understand what they took in.

"Kietha..." Kietha heard Zoku whisper as he turned to look at her. A sense of hatred filling his red eyes. She smiled at him as she forced herself to stand again.

"Well, well. If it isn't Zoku, my Lord's favorite." Kietha's slurred words rose above the noise of the battle.

She walked slowly foreward as Zoku brought Oblivion up. Kietha tilted her head with a devilish smile on her face as she brought Chaela from its sheath. Zoku prepared himself for her attack, but watched with slight bewilderment when Kietha shoved the blade into a pile of rocks.

"I come not to fight you, my Lord's favorite." Kietha tilted her head from one side and then the next, smiling along the way.

"What do you want?" He growled at her.

Kietha managed to draw the shadows around her and Zoku preventing either vampire to see what was happening or leave. "You."

"I got that."

"I want to taste you again, my Lord's favorite. I wish to have you. You are the sweetest. You are loyal. Your blood lingers longer than the others." Kietha suddenly feel to her knees, the red-black dizziness sweeping over her. She screamed at herself, dragging her limp body back to its feet.

"Your scent...so strong," she almost whispered, her eyes closed. "I know David came to you in your time of need. I know he threaten you to stay away..." Kietha's voice faded in and out, as if she was battling herself. "I wanted to go to you that night...but I could not. For I would have drank from you, possibly killed you..." Kietha's sentence trailed off as her strength seemed to be coming back to her.

She opened her eyes, the color flashing from green to amber, and finally resting on a dark amber. She smiled again, but it was the one filled with lust, desire for the red liquid. She began to approach him again, her wall of shadows began to slowly vanish.

As much as he wanted to kill her...he couldn't bring himself to do it. For a brief moment, he saw the vampire who he came to care for all those months ago as a human. But now...all those dark amber eyes of her wanted was his blood, not for who he was.

So she did know about David...

Keitha's shadows still surrounded them, blocking the view from the others...she continued to approach him. Instead of bring up Oblivion to cut her down, he simply dropped it to his side. His face was emotionless, his red eyes still burning with hatred for the vampress. His body desired her...but his heart was cautious, not forgetting what happened at their last encounter.

A pitty she craves only my blood...if only there was something more there behind those eyes than mere lust.

The vampress now stood directly in front of Zoku. Still, he made no facial expression, but inside, for the first time since becoming a vampire...he was torn. The Moonstone craved for satisfaction in her death...but the Opal saught forgiveness...to take pitty on her, for it was his blood...that brought out her lust once more.

Keitha rubbed her hands up and down his chest...feeling his muscular form, sensing his sweet blood flowing through him. She wanted it...she wanted it more than anything.

''Drink..'' Zoku put his hand behind Keithas neck, and ushered her to drink. Slowly, she dug her fangs deep into his chest. With each intake of blood her grasp intensified, just as she had done upon the cliffs. Zoku pushed her head in farther, and farther as her nails penetrated Zoku's back, bringing herself as close as she could.

He couldn't feel anything...his feelings for her diminishing...''is this all that she sees me as now...food.'' and with quick motion, Keitha took a blow directly on the back of her skull with the side of Zoku's hand, causing her to go unconcious. The shadows surrounding them dissapeared as Keitha's fangs fell from Zoku's chest as she feel towards the ground.

Zoku caught her in his arms...and lifted her up, as well as grabbing her blade as he leaped into the air at great heights. Jumping from one roof to another... till he finally chose to set Keitha down far from the battle ground. Setting her down gently...he kneeled himself right beside her. Her face looked at peace...calm and undisturbed.

''I can't believe these feelings still linger Keitha...even now as a vampire.''

Is that the only reason why you lust for me so...is for my blood. I take pitty on you vampress...such a desire as that for another is pathetic.

He took her head, and layed it on his lap as he looked down at her...the memories flooding back. She may have been cold hearted, but he cared for her neither the less. And now look at her...barely able to keep sane without his blood.

''No blood will every satisfy you Keitha...such is my curse.''

He felt so torn inside...part of him just wanted to end it all. It would be so easy, her tender neck would be so easy to break. But...

Do I love her...

''It's a shame things ended up like this Keitha.'' Zoku rubbing his fingers through her hair. ''I wish I could trust you...but you haven't shown me anything to do so. You say you lust for me...but all you seem to want is your blood. To satisfy your needs...I miss the old you.''

He leaned his head down, close to Keitha's ear in a whisper, rubbing his thumb smoothly up and down her cheek.
''You should have come to me that night...I would rather have died that night...than to live in this life without you...to see you where you are now. I hope one day you come to realize that you want me not only for my blood...but for who I really am. I care for you Keitha...but know that I will not be seduced by your simple lust again. I will not have my heart be played with. I've given you the peace which you sought out this night...my blood corses through you now. Your lust is satisfied...for now. Come find me again to talk if you wish...my friend.''

Genlty resting her head back on the gravel of the rooftop...he stood up and took another look down at the beautiful vampress before him.

''I could have killed you this night Keitha, Shadow Assassin of the Grysham. Think about what I've said...I know you can hear me, even in the state that you are in. *smile* nothing is done without it passing through your ears. I wish I could help you...to take this torment away from you. But, that I will leave too you...''

Zoku left the rooftop and began to make his way back to where Dusk and Dracula were fighting.

I loved you once Keitha...I truly did. But, I cannot come back too you...not now...not with the way you are now.

He had gotten back to the park, picking back up his Oblivion as he continued his watch over Dusk. No one seemed to noticed that he had even left, not to mention even being there.

He watched as Zoku laid the assassin down on the rooftop. Something had changed, nothing unexpected, but the woman had fallen a little farther than Colville had anticapated. He made his way over to Keitha, a smile on his face as he looked down on her unconcious form.

'Wake up soon, vampire.' he said, his smile widening as he drew his gun, 'You and I are going to have some interesting times ahead of us.'

Darkness.....

The smell of death lingered in the alleyway.

Blood.......

Lana was crouched over a body that had been mutilated beyond recognition. Numerous other bodies lay around her. Men, women and children - no one had been spared. It was as if Kuroichi himself had been there.

Lana retracted her sais from the mutilated body. Blood pooled all over the alleyway floor. Her eyes were darker than the darkness itself. She breathed heavily. All she wanted was death......death and destruction. Kietha had left her to look over Nye and the others, always going off by herself - the blood rage taking over her senses and ensnaring them in a sensual trap. All Lana could do was wait - which was not part of her.

Instead, she took out her anger and rage on the mortals, slaying anyone that crossed her. In broad view or in secret, she didn't care. Rage had taken Lana and now no one was there to stop her. Not Nye. Not Keitha. It was just her and her cruel, terrible rage.

Her heart thumped against her chest as the desire for more and more death coursed through her body. How dare Keitha leave her behind! How dare she!

Walking out of the alleyway, Lana walked the street, stalking any unsuspecting victim that came in her path. One after another they fell, dead, lying on the street. Lana wanted death....adn there was no one who could stop her.

The dark, dank cargo hold smelled of piss and bowel movements. The rank smell of human sweat and death was almost overwhelming. Kietha was curled in a corner, her knees pulled close to her naked body. She was covered in the derbre that was scattered about the wooden floor and she trembled with fear. She couldn't have been any older than fifteen, and she had watched her village be destroyed, her father slain, her mother rapped, and herself beaten and rapped. Now she was thrown into the cargo hold with about seventeen other women, bleeding and unclothed.

The heavy crash of the sea waves rattled the boat and caused some of the women to cry out. Kietha could not bring herself to move, her whole body felt dirty and ached.

"Darla? Darling?" A fragile voice called from above her.

"Mother..." she whispered, too afraid to move.

"Oh, Darla, my sweet little girl." The voice came again and suddenly Kietha felt arms around her.

She began to panic, screaming and struggling to free herself. Finally she managed to get away from her attacker and back herself against a wall. Her wet hair clung to her face and her whole body trembled. Not until the figure came into sight did Kietha realize it was her mother. She too was just as naked and covered in filth as she.

Kietha lunged forward and wrapped her arms around her mother's waist, weeping uncontrollably.

"Everything will be alright my child, you shall see. God will show mercy on us." Kietha's mother's sweet voice soothed her as the woman stroked Kietha's head.

God will show us mercy...there is no GOD...

Kietha bent forward, forcing the large thick brush to scrap across the deck. She lay heavy with her second child and had made quite a life from what she had. She was one of the few women allowed on deck for extended periods of time and was almost allowed to roam about the ship freely. She was about eighteen now and had seen a great deal of the world. Or at least the world through the eyes of the vikings.

Death, destruction and rap. Yes it was a glorious time to be alive and to bring new life into the world.

"Hey wench, get over here." A rough male voice beckoned her.

Kietha placed her brush into her bucket and made her way a clumsly to her feet. She waddled across the deck and bowed before the massive man. He grabbed a hold of her hair and pulled her head back. Kietha made no sound and waited for her beating.

The man struck her and she fell to the wooden deck floor.

"You better produce me a son, wench. Or I'll have your head." The man yelled and stormed off.

Kietha cursed under her breath as she dragged herself to her feet, and back over to her bucket.

"Are you alright, darling?" Kietha's mother rushed over to her.

"Fine." Kietha snapped as she began to scrub again.

Her mother had already produced three children for the vikings and was heavy with yet another. The woman did well do obeying her captures and was one of the men's favorites. Kietha was growing bitter towards the woman that gave birth to her. Her constant ramblings of "God will save us from this" was beginning to drive Kietha mad.

"Oh, my poor Darla. You will see, this will all end soon." Her mother whispered as she waddled off.

Kietha paused for a moment, pressing her lips firmly together and staring blankly at the deck floor. She took a deep breath and began to scrub again.

Kietha let out a horrible cry as the nursemaid beckoned her to push again. Even after the first child, the pain of giving birth was still unbearable. The rank smell of the cargo hold filled Kietha's lungs every time she took a deep breath. The nursemaid continued to ask her to push as the child slid farther and farther out.

"Its a boy!" The nursemaid cried out when all of it was done.

Kietha pant as she laid back onto the wooden floor.

"Would you like to see your son?" The nursemaid came to Kietha's side, the baby in her arms.

Kietha brought her head up to look at the nursemaid and the wrapped child. The nursemaid had a cheerful smile on her face as she extended her arms towards Kietha. The girl glared at the nursemaid and laid back down. Confused, the nursemaid brought the child close to her chest.

"Don't you want to hold your son?" The nursemaid questioned.

When Kietha didn't answer, her mother came to her side and began running her fingers through her daughter's hair. "Kietha?"

"Get that ville thing from me!" Kietha screamed, pulling away from her mother.

"Darla!" Kietha's mother shouted, the women around the young girl confused beyond words.

"Get away from me, all of you!" Kietha screamed, wriggling to her feet despite the pain she was in. "Stay away from me!"

On a dark morning Kietha was beckoned to the ship's captian's cabin. With her furs wrapped tightly around her thin body, Kietha made her way across the deck to the captain's cabin. The sweet smell of fresh food swipt over her as she entered the lovely furnished room. The captian sat at his desk when she entered.

Kietha pulled her furs closer to her, the crisp cold air stinging her flesh. The man stood quickly and Kietha watched him with dull eyes. She what was to come. He walked briskly over to her and snatched her by the arm. Kietha didn't struggle, there was no point. They were far stronger than she. He tore her close from her and threw her onto his bed. He struggled to free his body of his clothing as he climbed on top of her. She closed her eyes as he thrust himself inside her.

When the man had his feel, he dressed and left her there. Naked, nearly crying and badly beaten. Kietha laid there, unable to move when she caught sight of a dagger sitting on the viking's desk. She rushed, unclothed to the desk and grabbed the dagger and put it to her chest. The sting of the tip entering her flesh caused her to draw back for a moment. Her breathing came ragged and short as she looked down at the dagger. She heard footsteps coming towards the cabin. She threw her furs around her and placed the dagger under them.

"Send her back." The captain barked as he and two other men entered.

Kietha said nothings as she made her from the cabin.

"We'll dock here," the captain's voice rang out. "Will retrieve supplies and women."

Despite all odds, Kietha managed to keep her prize hidden until they docked some nine months later. She laid heavy with the captains child when they docked in a Norman port. It was night, and all were asleep when she snuck from the depths of the cargo hold.

This will be the last time my body will betray me

Kietha slide into the captains cabin, his snoring loud and annoying. She pulled the dagger from her under her furs and dangled it over the vikings body. She trembled with fear as she placed both hands on its hilt. She closed her eyes and thrust the blade down, deep into the man's chest. He cried out as Kietha brought the dagger back up to thrust it down once more. The cries and the sound of a slight struggle rose the others still aboard. They rushed in to see what had happened. When they took in the sight of their dead captain and they bloody girl, they didn't know what to do.

Kietha swirled around, dagger thrust forward. In their attempt to contain her, the three men all suffered mortal wounds that enabled Kietha to escape. She ran as fast and as long as she could into the darkness of this strange world. Before dawn Kietha lay in labor. Alone and no where to go, Kietha lay under a tree willing herself to free her body of the burden she carried. By the time she had given birth and recovered from the act it was almost mid-day.

"A girl..." Kietha whispered. The wailing baby lay in the grass covered in fluid and dirt.

Kietha stood, preparing to leave the child were it was. It was another ville creature produced by her captures. But she could not bring herself to leave it. She took a deep sigh and scooped the baby into her arms. Instintly it went quiet. Kietha smiled without realizing it as she began to walk without a destination. When reaching the first house, Kietha walked to its steps and looked down at the child she held.

"I wish a better life for you." She kissed the baby on the head and laid it on the steps, knocking on the door before she disappeared into the forest.

"Ah, priest." Kietha smiled as she came to, her body still pulsing from Zoku's blood. "Have you come to seek out some fun?" The vampress spoke with slurred words as she tried to sit up.

The priest only smiled as he helped Kietha to her feet.

"We must find Lady Lana. I fear she has become as I." Kietha smiled as she picked her sword up.

"As ye like." The priest answered picking his things up as well.

Across the city they danced until they came to a part of the city filled with destruction and death. Kietha smiled, her body wallowing in its glory. Lana was destroying more mortal lives when Kietha and Colville found her.

"Lady Lana," Kietha called out, her voice sweet and soft.

Lana turned, her face filled with bitterness. Kietha tilted her head to the side, smiling and extending her hand. Lana stood still her sais at her side. She looked at Kietha and her invitation, then noticed the preist.

"He is here to help us, Lady Lana. Please, join me as we show this world what we really are." Kietha rolled her head to the other side, waiting patiently for Lana. "You can have anything you want, Lana. You could even have Nye if my Lady wishes it so. Just come with me."

Zuriel slowly broke back into consciousness, struggling to open his eyes. The pain was almost unbearable, and it was blinding him. Blood ran down his body, dribbling into a pool on the ground. He felt a tingle in one of the wounds on his chest. Another vampire had tasted his blood while he was unconscious. A vampire unworthy of even seeing him bleed.

He got to his feet, and stumbled over to the park where Zoku, Dracula, Dusk and Jinsei were. He couldn't find his swords, they were nowhere to be seen. He was blinded by a combination of the pain and his desire to kill Zoku, even with the knowledge that he definitely couldn't.

Zoku was standing there, watching the battle between Dracula and Dusk. Dracula was not faring well. He was being beaten to a point of near-death by Dusk, as Zuriel had been by Zoku. Dracula's blood dripped onto the ground from his mouth and nose as Dusk pounded him into the ground.

"Zoku," said Zuriel weakly, "You will die!" He stumbled towards Zoku. The titan laughed, seeing Zuriel's pathetic attempt to fight. He drew Oblivion once more, and rammed it through Zuriel's stomach. Zuriel gasped, and grabbed hold of the blade, the metal cutting through his skin and making blood run down his hands. He sank to one knee, and Zoku pulled the sword out from his opponent. Blood ran down Zuriel's body onto the damp grass, saturating it with crimson.

"No," Zuriel thought, "It can't end like this! I can't be beaten before the war has even properly begun! I am the king of the Myrkur Aniol!"

He fell into blackness, and saw a shining light in the distance. He tried to move towards it, but it seemed to be coming up on him at a fair rate. It came to him, and he saw that it was an image of Abaddon, fourth general of the Seraphic legions of the Myrkur Aniol.

"Hello Zuriel," he said, "You are close to death, that is why you can see me. I am here to give you advice. Move back into the light, the furthest from death you can get, and your power will increase. You will be like the Phoenix, and come back from death stronger than before. You must do this. Zoku will become your ally if you give him something to respect."

"I have tried to fight him when I was on the brink of death, and still all he did was to impale me. I cannot win the titan's respect."

"You will," said Abaddon, moving away. Zuriel was being hurled back into the light.

He awoke with a start, blood spilling out of his mouth as he coughed himself back to life. He felt refreshed. His wounds seemed to be healed, even though his robe was still covered in dried blood. He felt stronger than he ever had before. He got to his feet, and his swords whisked to his hands from the floor. They wreathed themselves in fire, and his eyes burned with hate.

"Zoku!!!" he shouted, "This time you will die!"

"Calm down, Zuriel," said a bloodied and bruised Dracula, now standing next to Dusk and Zoku, "We have reached an agreement."

(OOC: kairiKIce2-sorry if this ruins any plans you had, but I couldn't just lie in an alley for that long. You can post for the time when I am unconscious, like a flashback-type thing)

OCC: I was hoping for Sole-Energia to post first...but it feels like I have no choice now...damn.

Zuriel looked to be dead as Zoku withdrew his sword Oblivion from the body. Blood was all over the blade...but Zoku couldn't sense that he was dead. A slight light in him still glowed within him.

Walking towards the now battered and bruised Dracula, leaving Zuriel's body behind...Zoku confronted Dusk before he attacked the fallen vampire again.

''That's enough Dusk...'' as Zoku placed a hand on Dusk's shoulder in order to calm him.

''No...'' as he pushed his arm aside. ''The Gwyar are weak...they stand for nothing. I must kill this one...he is not worthy to take witness to this new generation.'' Dusk was lossing it, he wasn't in the right mind at all. All he wanted was death...Zoku was getting concerned. Not only had Keitha subdued to the darkness...but Dusk now seemed to be as well. Without intervention...he would kill everyone in the city.

''Dusk!''

''Leave me alone...I want this kill'' as Dusk swung at Zoku. He easily grabbed Dusk's fist and pushed him backwards. However Dusk caught himself easily and lunged towards Zoku. Zoku punched out at Dusk with his left hand, and Dusk with his right...both blocked each attack, causing their hands to be locked together. The power surging between the two was intense, each pressing harder and harder to gain some kind of position and advantage. They were like the center of a tornadoe as the winds intensified around them.

''What are you doing Zoku? We fight for Kuroichi...you are his first...why are you fighting with me?'' Dusk's teeth were grinding together...gathering as much force from his new found power in a attempts to topple the titan.

''Think about what you are doing Dusk...you dark side has taken control of you. Think reasonably...don't be weak and let petty anger fuel you.''

''Anger...what anger...I've never felt this alive before.''

''So you're not angry with where Sumiyaka is at this moment. Sleeping with Kuroichi as his mistress. AM I WRONG!''

Zoku was gathering strength...pushing Dusk backwards slowly...

''So what if you kill Dracula...and all of your enemies...where will that leave you...what will be left for you Dusk!''

He was silent...his mind seemed to be split in two. Despite his resent transformation....he hadn't gained full control. In his thought...Zoku continued to push, harder...and harder.

''Think damn it...THINK!..do you think this will bring Sumiyaka back too you...back to the way she was. She was so easily turned by him...are you as weak DUSK!''

''NO...'' Dusk started to push back in his rage...the thought of Sumiyaka plagued him. He wanted her back...he had missed his friend. He had loved her more than anything...''I am not weak!''

''Do you see Dusk...your dark side has been unleashed. We can't do anything about it...but together...we will be able to create a new world for our people.''

''...our people...'' his voice began to sound like the old Sole.

''Listen to me Dusk...the Gwyar and the Myrkur Aniol have joined forces, and they force that they form will be a great threat to Kuroichi...I promise. Think of Jinsei...''

''...Jinsei...''

''Yes...Jinsei, do you want him to live in a world such as the Gwyar of old...with Caine gone, you'll be able to create a new world for your clan. And Jinsei will be brought up in righteousness...as oppossed to Kuroichi. You saw how he lives his life....sleeping with whatever woman he wants, doing what he pleases. That will be this world if he wins.''

''I....don't want that....Zoku...help me...I can't....'' Dusk collapsed to one knee...the typhoon dissappearing from around them. Zoku let go of Dusks hands...and let him struggle with himself for a moment.

What do I do...what do I do...should I kill...should I lead...

''Remember Dusk...I gave you those gems long ago because I felt that you were qualified to lead against Kuroichi. And I still believe that to be true...''

Zoku could swear that he saw a tear in Dusk's eye...he was battling tremendously within himself as he lifted his head up too see Zoku kneeling before him.

''I can't do this alone Zoku...''

Placing both hands on his shoulders...''you won't be alone my friend...Dracula, Zuriel, Jinsei, Gabriel and the other fallen angels and Gywar will be here for you......I.....will be here for you.''

''you...but Zoku...u''

''ssshhhhhh...dont worry about me. I finally realized something about this war...something a friend of mine told me.''

''What was that...''

''Maybe it is destiny for Kuroichi to rule...perhaps it may not. But in order to see who is to be worthy enough to take the throne over all vampires...there must be struggle to prove his worth. She told me...*thinking of Keitha...back when he first knew her...* that I was the one thing that stood in his way.''

''I'm confused Zoku...why betray your master?''

''He will always be my master...I hold him in the highest regard...but with all the change that has gone on. I truly feel that my place is not by his side at this moment...nor ever. We'll only have to wait and see what happens in the days to come.''

''So you will fight with us then.'' a smile seemed to creep over Dusk. Happy to hear that their side had such a powerful ally now.

''I will fight with you brother.'' Zoku helping Dusk up to his feet. When he rose, he felt a new kind of energy flowing through him...something was different...''Zoku...'' as Zoku turned around to care for Dracula...''what did you do?''

''One thing that we will work on Dusk...is to control that dark side within you. Once you learn to control it as I have...you'll become even more powerful...in time.''

''But what did you do...the rage is gone.''

Zoku helped Dracula get to his feet...''I took a part of it out of you with the Moonstone...and quenched your thirst for blood with the Opal. Soon it will fade...but by then you will have learn much from me.''

''Do you feel guilty for betraying Kuroichi Zoku?''

''I do not regret for my decisions...I am my own person. I may be a servant...but I am not slave to Kuroichi. However I do grieve...once I became a vampire...I wanted to join him...and to be by his side once again. But fate it seems...has pulled me away from him again. Maybe I'll understand why in time.''

Jinsei ran over to Dusks side to see if he was alright...taking in the new image of his friend.

''Boy...'' yelled out Zoku, carrying Dracula over towards Zuriel. ''Give me the Skull Sapphire!'' Jinsei looked at Dusk cautiously...but he gave a nod indicating to do so.

''Thank you...''

''Are you worried that Kuroichi will find out that you have betrayed him?'' asked Jinsei, as he gave him the gem.

''He's spy's have already been killed...'' as Zoku pointed to the building above where shadows were dwelling.''

''What are those?''

''My vampires...my friends...I've also spoken too Gaia, conveing that it is not the elements business in knowing war plans. It would be an unfair advantage.''

With Jinsei keeping Dusk on his feet, with Zoku helping Dracula...they got to Zuriel who was coming to his own.''

He attacked...but Dracula stretched out his hand...''Be still Zuriel...Zoku, Dusk and I have come to an agreement.''

''I hope you can get over me fighting with you Zuriel...but I had to make it real for Kuroichi's spys...this is for you.''

''The Skull Sapphire...?'' Zuriel was shocked...just a moment ago this man tried to killl him...now all of a sudden, he was presenting him with a gift.

''That...my friend...will be the key in swaying the Zugai...the Skull Clan.''

Lana glared at both of them.

" I wish for nothing more than to be alone. For that is all I am. I do not take offerings lightly when I have been pushed away," she hissed. Keitha could feel the spite seeth through her voice. " I do not wish for Nye, although I cannot deny what feelings I have for him. I only wish for death..."

Her dark eyes flashed intensely as her wings burst from her shoulders and swept the two away.

" I wish to kill any that stands in my path. I may not be as strong as you Keitha, or as prominent. But I assure as hell is happening in this damned city, that I will not do as you tell me anymore. Treat me as a child and a sevant you do. I wanted to be your partner, your friend.......but you push me away.....and I do not forgive lightly."

She threw both of her Sais at them, pinning each of them to the wall, one in Keitha's left shoulder, one in the priest's right shoulder. WIth one great sweep of her wings, Lana took off into the night sky and headed back to Nye and the remaining Gyshram.

OOC: Sorry demonchild, Lana isn't so easily moved. It's just her character so forgive me for putting that in.
