Fave anime and why?Lets see I would have to say Inuyasha that would be my all time fave.Along with 1000 others as well I'm sure. Now why?Well 1st would have to be the story I love the BG story behind the anime. And some how in some way they all come together its beautiful. The music is what I like the best its all pretty so far I have not found a song on Inuyasha that I do not like. The charters,I love most of the chaters there personal selfs the way they act or feel or what they do.I have grown so attached to this anime for many reasons and I plan to stay close to it.Its one long lasting jouney with friends to battle through emenys and foes. All to find one thing and to stop one guy.I love it!

My favs have to be:

Neon Genesis Evangelion
I love this series for a few reasons, the storyline, the philosphy side and deepness and also it was the first full anime series I ever saw.

Rurouni Kenshin
I havent seen much of this series, but what Ive seen I love, so much I bought the entire series (but its not been delivered yet). The characters are great and so is the story. I also like how it has different genres mixed in.

Cowboy Bebop + Samurai Champloo
I just love all of Watanabe's anime (even the 2 animatrix things). It is great how he has mixed in music and things into it and its is so stylish.

There is more but it would be too long a list.

Last Exile, no doubt. Why? Everything, really. It was well animated, the dub was awsome(the origional Japanese voices mostly sucked though), great soundtrack, 3-D/2-D mixing, and it was cool how everything was connected somehow, I loved that. Awsome characters, the ones who stood out for me were Dio, Alex and Alister :D I love steampunk anime too, so that was a plus. I've also been interested in flying like, my whole life (my bro too, lol), so that was cool. I also love how they made it so realistic, yet still a fantasy. And of course the character designer, lol. My favorite artist, Range Murata. Plus, it's not overpopular like Inuyasha, so it doesn't get old from everyone talking about it. I was surprised it came from GONZO, too. It was so good because it was their 10th anaversary piece lol. Memorable, it was my first anime, and it's still my favorite. :animesmil

My favourite anime? Hmmmmmmmmm (thinking) well probably every one I've watched (which actually isn't that many)
Okay, I like Cardcaptors, I dunno why but I do.
I Also like Slayers (next) because of the hilarity (and also near the end things start getting more interesting).
Erm... And I like all of those really bad kiddie animes on TV for no reason whatsoever.
I Also like Trigun because of the way it's funny at the biggining but gets more serious as it goes on (and I also like the battle of morals).
Oh and I like Kiki's Dilivery Service and Spirited Away (those are the only one's of that guys movie's I have seen).
Er and that's about all I have seen.

Duhh! Everyone knows that DBZ (NOT GT) is the best! It has action, action, action! I mean, sometimes it gets a little old, like when they fought Majin Bu for a YEAR, but besides that, it was really good. Why does everyone say Inuyasha? I can think of another one better than Inuyasha, but not as good as DBZ: Ruroni Kenshin!

I basically adore Miyazaki's work, about Kiki's delivery being his weakest anime, well, i have to agree and yet it has a warmth in it that fixes you in front of the screen. Besides, Sprited Away surpassed Mononoke but when i saw Howl's Moving Castle i was basically fascinated. It was lovely, the characters, the story, the war scenes, the door :) everthing was lovely. Still, i have this feeling that Nausicaa remains to be my favorite.
Among the series, I admit that i cannot choose one,
one that affects me most even hunts my dreams is one i didnot notice anyone mentioning (may be i am a little bit old or something :P)
The Legend of Galactic Heros: The tactical side of wars, two different universes, one similar to today's EU and the other one is somehow like the Germany during second world war. The characters: Yang Wen-li (I adore him, it is kind of embrassing to admit but he was for real, i would marry him for sure), so kind, considerate, intelligent... well whatever, the other one Reinhardt(again a powerful man, with tooooo much passion for power, so determined and so bright)
Neon Genesis Evangelion, no other anime made me think about human mind, emotions, existense and so on...as this one did and as it still does
Ghost in the Shell: What is soul afterall? Is it something that you can create? Or implement? What kind of a proportioning would enable us to preserve our souls if we were to change our bodies/parts with machines etc...
for a good laugh i always prefer Inuyasha, yet after watching the 167th episode i was like "you gotta be joking, please don't finish it like this" well that's life i guess.. Always with a "to be continued.."part in it :)

this is a very tough call; obviously, there are many, many good animes and all deserve their dues. to me, it's probably an easier decision than to most people... it's really down to Love Hina and Cowboy Bebop. as sad as it sounds, i enjoy anime not for what is there, but what surrounds the show. for example, in my opinion, Cowboy Bebop has the most fitting, and best score of any anime, not to mention it's background stories that were joyous to watch. Love Hina on the other hand, created a great scene and purpose. i think i'd have to give the notch to Cowboy Bebop. overall, it's stunning animation and plot were just amazing.

my top three:

1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Love Hina
2. Lupin the 3rd (or eva, that's tough)

My favorite anime would have to be the fist of the north star. Even though the anime is pretty old it has alot of martial arts action. This anime is a big influence for me because this is the anime that got me in too drawing.

My second anime would have to be one piece. The show has alot of pirate action and show s that luffy has alot of courage too become the best pirate in world. The show also has comedy and cool characters you can get in too.

My two (since I can't narrow it down to one) favorites are X TV and Cowboy Bebop. X TV is probably the greatest character development I've ever seen in an anime, and it has such a great story, a great battle being fought with perspectives from both sides. The characters really just grew on me so much, I felt like I almost could have been there.

Then again, Cowboy Bebop is great just because it's so cool and laid back that I can never get tired of watching it. Spike is probably one of the greatest characters ever, but everyone else in that series is also great. While X TV also has a whole bunch of action and fighting, it's all about special powers and everything. Bebop just feels so much more real, it's just real people fighting with guns or their fists. Plus, I really love the whole bounty hunter theme.

There's a few shows that might end up becoming a favorite as I watch more of them. To name a few, it'd be Bleach, Naruto, and Samurai Champloo.

Hi Hi! My favorite anime is Fruits Basket. It is sooooooo hilarious and I LOVE KYO. It also has it's share of drama which makes it awesome and I really like the way they tell the story of the zodiac memebers. I wish they continued the story on DVD *sniff sniff* but I guess I'll have to read the manga to find out what happens.

At the moment I like Samurai Champloo. It has great music, great story, awsome characters, and it's like a feudal japan version of Cowboy bebop. Actually it was made by the same creator, and Cowboy Bebop has a lot of jazz in it hence the 'Bebop' and Samurai champloo has a lot of mixed music like hip hop and such, and Champloo roughly means mixed.

Wow, this is definitely a profoundly difficult question. Far harder than anything I've answered on any test...there are so many!! I suppose I would have to say Fullmetal Alchemist (or Hagane no Renkinjustushi), because I love all of the characters so much, and the story is so moving, and the relationships are so complicated and dramatic, and it has so many plot twists! My favorate characters are Roy Mustang and Envy, but I also like Wrath and Winry. I love the darkness and twisted nature of the story, and the soundtrack is amazing. Some of my other favorates are Fooly Cooly (FlCl/Furi Kuri), even though the manga was only 2 volumes and the anime just six episodes, and everything was a little muddled and fast-paced, Haruko-san was friggin' hilarious and I loved all the pop-culture references to both America and Japan (such as the Southpark bit and the Red Hot Chili Peppers reference). The fact that the entire soundtrack was done by the pillows was just a really nice bonus. It's a cult classic. Also, I love Gravitation, though really just the manga, because I read it before I saw the anime, which left me slightly unimpressed, especially the dubb voices. The character designs didn't live up to the ever-improving artwork of Murakami. I also loved DNAngel, though mostly the manga there too, since I've read more of it.
