Especially the Scorpion picture is a pain for the eye. You should try to make the images blend in more. Finallky the text. Well, in my eyes it doesn't fit the rest of the banner and you might also want to make it blend in a bit more. [/size][/color]

My biggest complaint is against the text/font you used, it looks like it was placed randomly and the font doesn't match either of the characters/the look of the signature. Also try blending the center of the image better, so that the two sides don't clash as badly as they are, and maybe try a different border >_>...

You're banners need that extra something to make them good banners. The ones you make are getting way better, but aren't at the 'wow' level. If that makes any sense.

The image quality is fine, but the blending of them is non-existant, which is really too bad. There's no real focal point, or action in this one. The Sub-Zero and Scorpion are just looking at each other. They're doing things independently, but in the context of the banner, they're being lazy. Basically,it's not dynamic, which is bad, especially since Mortal Combat is very lively.

The background looks like maybe 10 seconds worth of work... literally. It looks exactly like you rendered some clouds, then applied a filter effect like sketch or something. This is bland, but not terrible. You might want to spruce it up more with extra filtering, as well as cropping the banner overall. It's too large, giving it that empty feeling.

And the typography. This wasn't all that great either. The font was uncharacteristic of this fighting, dynamic theme of combat. You should've gone for a more grunge-ish/solid/thick font. Not a skinny, retro-looking one. I have no idea why you put 'SHD' twice... except for the sake of balance. The 'R' in shredda is cut off ... nuff said there.

Despite my harsh comments, this banner isn't that bad. I'll give it a [B]6.9/10[/B]
