This RPG is based on the events of Gensou Suikoden 1 concerning the Scarlet Moon Empire and the Toran Liberation Army.

Story: IS ( In Solis) 446 there was a General called Geil Rugner who was the brother of the dead Emperor of the Scarlet Moon Empire. Once Barbarossa Rugner, Who was the crown prince and Geil Rugners nephew, left on a mission Geil started a trial to remove the Crown Prince from his rightful throne. Geil then took advantage of the lack of ruler and he took the seat of power and became Emperor. Prince Barbarossa fought back and the Succesion wars erupted. Initially Geil held the upper hand but with the help of his strategeist Leon Silverburg and the 6 Great Generals, Barbarossa was able to recapture the Throne. That is the story of the succesion wars.

9 years later, there was a young boy who was the son of one of the 6 Great Generals. It is his destiny to help the liberaton army to defeat the Liberation army. He doesn't know about his destiny however and finds out about it when he meets the great seer Leknaat on the Magicians Island. He does not believe it untill his friend is kidnapped by the empire in an attempt to remove his rune. This is his story and the story of the Beginning of the Toran republic.

Major Characters

-------- Mc'Dhol- You make his First name whatever you want.
He is the main character and a powerful mage in his own right. He gains the rune of Life and Death during the Course of the Story. He doesn't talk too much. He is the son of Teo Mc'Dhol the fourth great general and weilds a stave.

Cleo (You can change the name)

Gremio (This is an NPC because he dies during the course of the story)
Gremio was a soldier under the command of Teo McDohl during the Succession War. However, he decided to become a servant of Teo McDohl after Teo saved his life in battle. Gremio raised the son of Teo McDohl due to his father being busy and because his mother died after giving birth to him. Thus, Gremio acted as a parent to Hero McDohl. Pahn (an NPC because he leaves after he betrays Ted)
Pahn served under Geil Rugner during the Succession War. However, he was defeated by Teo McDohl in hand-to-hand combat during the war and since then has served under Teo McDohl, almost as a live-in servant / bodyguard. When Ted was being pursued by the Imperial Guards, Pahn told the Imperial Guards where Ted was in fear that the incident would cause trouble to the McDohl's in Teo's absence. Viktor (Introduced after Ted is taken captive)
Viktor grew up at the fort of North Window. His father died in war when he was serving in the 4th North Window Unit and was raised by his mother, Helen and grandmother, Martha. He had a brother called Wil and also lived with Daisy, a war orphan who Viktor's family took in. One day Viktor was heading to South Window to buy some medicine for his grandmother. When he returned, North Window has been sacked by a vampire called Neclord and all his family has been turned into zombies by Neclord's power. Viktor fought Neclord but was no match for him. If not for the Sacrificial Buddha that Daisy gave to him, he would have died. Viktor searched for Daisy but she was already dead. Apparently she committed suicide thinking that Viktor was dead and she also wished to die rather than being Neclord's wife. Viktor was the only survivor of this attack and was rescued by those who arrived from Kuskus. He was taken to Kuskus at death's door and nursed by Barbara, who was also from North Window. Viktor healed fast and took off immediately to search for the target of his vengeance. He trained furiously and sooner or later he had turned into a formidable swordsman who wielded his sword with brute force and fine skill. During his quest, he ran into many adventures which honed his instinct for survival and his rogue-like tendencies. One thing led to another and he ended up in the Toran Liberation Army. Flik (Introduced later into the story) (Reserved for Franky)
He is powerful both in combat and magic, and is a fearless commander. Although he still laments the loss of his lover, Odessa, he seems to be getting over it these days. He was born and trained as a swordsman in the Warrior's Village but left on his journey of Manhood without ever naming his sword. After being a mercenary for years, he met Odessa whom he fell in love with. He won her heart through his lack of sophistication and willingness to put things into action. He loses Odessa while he was away, and he is unable to forgive himself even after years have passed. (Odessa is the former leader of the Liberation front)
