James Posted November 12, 2001 Share Posted November 12, 2001 [color=crimson][size=1]I was going to post this within the Otaku Avatars sticky topic, but I felt that it deserves its own topic because it deals specifically with avatar submissions. I've been getting quite a few avatars lately, and that's great. Keep 'em coming everyone :) However, I'd like to mention a few things about how I'd like them to be submitted. First, the avatars must be 50x50. Any larger or smaller will be rejected. Second, the avatars should preferably be in GIF format, but JPEG is fine too. No BMP please. Third, I have a specific requirement when it comes to filenames. Some people are sending me avatars of characters who I don't know...and so I have no idea which section to put them under. So if you're sending say...5 Digimon avatars. You'd put the filenames like so: Digimon1 Digimon2 Digimon3 Digimon4 Digimon5 Alternatively, you might name them like this: Pokemon_Pikachu Pokemon_Raichu Pokemon_Bulbasaur etc. Preferably, the [b]second[/b] way is best. That way, I know first and foremost where the avatar belongs...and second, what the name of the character in the avatar is. People who send in avatars with this format above are most likely to get theirs put up. Avatars which don't follow those guidlines will probably be ignored, as it's a big job editing the filenames of 50 avatars and then having to organize them. 'till then, users are able to use any of the standard avatars we provide. The avatar you describe is fine. Most people here have seen fairly violent anime, so I do'nt think it's going to be terribly different to what anime fans have seen (especially since some avatars contain blood on characters etc).[/color][/size] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I too do that to several members...though I have never seen Safer's real pic, I picture him as, well...Sephiroth :p And Transtic!
