GuyYouMetOnline
I was browsing gamefaqs.com when I saw 'Drakengard 2' on the 'D' list for PS2 games. I was extremly excited, as Drakengard is one of my favorite games. After some hunting, I was able to learn a few things. I don't know much, but what I do know has increased my anticipation for this game. First off, I found several screenshots, which you can see by clicking here. As you can see in the screenshots, Seere is back, and he still looks the same. He clearly still has the pact with Golem. Arioch also seems to be present. Also making a return appearance is the single creepiest character ever made: Manah. Yes, that Manah. The Cult of the Watchers priestess whose voice keeps changing between 'little girl' and 'demon'. In fact, according to what I've heard, she's the main character. I've seen a picture, and she's a lot older now, which means that she'll be significantly less creepy (her creepieness came from the fact that she was a little girl). In terms of gameplay, you do seem to get to control a dragon, which means that all three styles of play from the first game will probably return, which would be perfect as far as I'm concerned. And aside from the characters I've mentioned, I know nothing about any facet of the plot, but I expect the same kind of great storyline the first game had. Well, that's all I know. Is anyone else looking forward to this game as much as I am? And does anyone have any more information?
GTK
I still need to finish the first Drakengard >_< but news of a second one does make me a happy fangirl ^_^ Seeing a grown up Manah would be super cool though~ *heart*
Danethol
Ugh. I bought the first Drakengard in the bargain bin of Gamestop once, and it was the worst $10 I ever spent. Repetitive gameplay, completely bland characters, and a horrible plot sent it straight back to the return bin for me. As far as I'm concerned, we're better off without a sequel. - Dane

Meggido
I played the first and thoguh it had a good storyline I hated the endings and the repetitive style of play. I love square games but There is no way I'll get the sequal.
Idiot2.0
I know this isn't a thread for the first one, but I'm going to post my thoughts for the Sequel also. I thought the best part of Drakengard was the gaming style, and all the other endings. I love the thought of a sequel, but I wonder how the storyline has changed? Well anyways I'd buy the sequel. Guest Caims_lover01
I have played and own both games. At first I had gotten Drakengard 1 because of Caim. :animeblus But then I really liked the game as I played it. I had almost gotten to the final chapter. But decided to give it a rest for a while. I played it non-stop for about 8 to 10 hours a day. LOL Then when I found out Caim was in the second game I had to get it. I'm playing that game now. And just got to the movie scene where I had beated him. I had used Manah and she was very easy to use against him. She's one of my most favorite charaters in the second game. Plus she's much more mature in the game I thought. Well in my opinio as you can tell with how much I wrote here LOL. These two games are worth the buy. Kenshin DX
This game is bascialy Dynasty Warriors and Panzer Dragoon execpt no where near as good as either of them. These games bored me to tears you fight the same enemies over and over. You basicaly mash square the entire game. I do however like the stroryline in the original. And it had some vey intresting chacters. But even those dont save this game from being flat out boring to play.

I've bought the second of it though, hoping that the game might turn out to be great. Haven't played it though.
