Andrew
Boy do I feel boring? As far as I know I'm completely Welsh except for the quarter of English blood I get from my Grandmother on my Father's side. She comes from Birmingham and has some really weird actions. Although my Grandfather on my Mother's side has travelled more or less everywhere during WWII so that should count for something. EDIT: Although my prominent heritage is Welsh I have never really been able to learn the language at school because I was brought up learning entirely English. When I sit and look at it the Welsh language looks really stupid to me but meh. My GF however is much the same as me but with a hint of Irish. She is learning Welsh and is very good at it and as I'm with her longer I sort of catch on to what she's saying if she speaks it.
Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. I have to admit that I do agree with Andrew [MajinVegeta], I do feel a bit mundane considering I'm full Irish and that's it, although considering how many people on OB have Irish relations that is something to be proud of. I have to also admit that I do enjoy speaking with American tourists when the come to Ireland, they're always exceptionally nice people and eager to learn as much as they can. One thing though that does amuse me about first-timers coming to Ireland is they seem to be amazed that Irish people don't all have red hair and live in thatches houses.
I don't find the whole 'Red haired Irish people' to be all that true myself. I only know of 3 people of Irish decent who have red hair: My aunt kathy, my friend Christina and my great aunt Lilian. And my great aunt's hair was dyed. MOst Irish and Irish decendant people I know have dark hair...like myself...stupid stereotypes.
Grammar Panzer
Oh yeah, go Pollacks. Plus I'm Irish. Mostly Polish. Wait.... so that means I'll be a wife who beats the piss out of my husband? *looks strangely at you* I, I think I'll just stop, I'm greatly confusing myself. And I will never deny my heritage! I am proud to be the blonde Pollack I am!

Petie
I'm mostly Italian. I guess the things I do most linked to that are first of all, a dinner of pasta (with sauce home-made by my grandmother) every Sunday. Also, and this is just because my mom's a Latin teacher, I've been to Italy on tours a few times with her Latin class. Though I haven't been to Sicily, where my family is actually from.
Baron Samedi
My mum is Australian, my dad is American. My mother's mother has some Greek in her somewhere, and I don't know much about the rest of me. So, I'm your average white-boy, but hotter than normal :p
QuincyArcher
Im half Japanese, half English. my mom was born and raised in Japan and moved to america when she married my dad, who was from Georgia attending college as an exchange student in Japan. 20 years later you have me living here in Portland, OR. I have been to Tokyo several times and i love it there, everything about the city is amazing from the culture to the city itself. and i hope to live out there some day after i graduate from college. Ezekiel
I don't know too much about my family's history, I really should look into finding our records... Mothers side: My Grandma is Scottish while my Grandfather was English. He was in the Navy and met her when they docked in Dundee. Later she went back with him to live in Liverpool but hated it and the in-laws, heh. When my Granddad left with the Navy she went back to Scotland and had my Uncle. Mum says that she, her sister and younger brother were all born in Liverpool. Fathers side: We suspect that there is some Roman far back because he has a lot of traits that would suggest it. Also, even though both my grandparents on his side are English, there was a lot of family involved in the sea so there's a chance some of my ancestors came here from other continents. We also think that there's some German in the family, a lot of English have German blood in them 'cause of the war and all that. So...yeah, there?s my brief family history.
Dragonboym2
My grandparents are Italian American. That's where I got my dark brown hiar, brown eyes, and thick eyebrows. My mom's parents are Irish American. From them I got broad shoulders, and sharp feachers. Both of my families are Catholic, oh yeah, my mom's parents grew up in Southie. (South Boston.). I do have the Irish temper, but I'm to nice a guy. I rarely get mad. :D I also have the Italian temper. But I'm not an angry person. But like both sides of my heritage, I enjoy good times, good food, and good freinds. :D My Grandma makes too much food when we're over for dinner. Even when your full, she asks if you want more food. "Would you like more raviolli?" "More calamari?" Etc. I remember the time I showed her a picture of a freind of mine, and Gradma says "She's skinny, Michael. Very Skinny. You should have her over for dinner. I'll make some calamari." :) Both my Grandpa's fought in WWII. My father's dad was an airforce pilot, flying cargo planes, dropping off suplies, troops, etc. He later went to be head of a airplane parts repair company. My mom's father was in the navy on a destroyer, I think. He said he never saw any action. He used to tell us he got in a big fist fight with a Japanese solider, but that never happened. My mom's parents are very Catholic, and spend every winter in Florida, so they missed the big blizzard we got recently. Eight feet of snow! That's all I know about my family. I'm going to look up my family tree somtime this week. If find anything out, I'l drop by. Hey, Kane! Here's to a free Ireland! :) Dragonboym2
