I'm putting up this thread because the RPG will become a little complicated at times. There is information about anything you'll need in the RPG. IF you have any questions, just post them here or PM me, whichever you prefer.

This part is going to be a little complicated. But if I knew how to do tables on this thing, it'd be much easier.

This is the list of jobs that each race can have and each job has 3 skills that they can learn to help them in battle. And you can learn all the abilities in each job in your race if you want, you aren't limited to one or two. Sorry if its confusing.

Sounds awesome to me...I played Tactics myself so its good. I'm just curious bout me having the race as ''The World'' since I'm being a white mage; as well as Quenbryl being my totume...that would be greatly appreciated:); if im not remembering something from the game..please remind me...cause i dont recall anything bout ''The World'' as a race; the essence of Ivalice I remember from the game with my Totume.

I can't wait for this to start...I have my character from the Game Boy stuck in my head that I had...please let us able to become Summoners as well:)

Well, I sort of made the 'Essence of Ivalice' (the last battle in tactics) a crystal and called it 'The World' crystal. I just made that bit up because I thought it should have a crystal because it an essential part to Ivalice. I said that some of the information in this RPG is the same as the game. I just made up the name. If you know who you fight in the last battle, I tried to make a name out of it because I've forgotten what they were called.

And yes, I am trying to be vague. But if you have played the game, you'll know what I mean.

And yes, I'll let you be summoners. They're one of my favourite jobs.

Alright...I think I get what you mean by ''The World'' and all. Still confused bout exactly what race I would be being a white mage but:)...thats ok...ill figure it out.

Question...with all the weapons that your wrote down above...as we progress further into the rpg...can we find more and more weapons giving us more abilities???

I'm just really excited about this:)...its like creating my character all over again:)

Lol. Who said we are low level? We may have low levelled jobs, but it doesn't mean we can't use some of the most powerful attacks those jobs can have?

I thought it would be fitting since we are the Crystal Questers that we have powerful attacks to start with. But yes, along the way, you can make your own attacks and they must have a weapon to correspond to it. All you have to do is ask me via PM or on here. Then I'll add it to the skills list, unless you want it to be unique to you. That's fine with me.

Yeah, things have really slowed down now...

I suppose we need to wait for you (amgoddess) to post what's happening with the Queen. And other than that, a nice, solid plot line would be good so that we have something to work with in case you're out for a few days.

And if all the people who signed up were actually active, this RPG would be [b]really[/b] good.

Engagement is another term of battle. When you fight against other clans, or groups of people, in Ivalice, there are laws you have to abide by in that fight.

It might be "Anyone with bows cannot fire = Missile Law" or anyone which Black Magic can't attack anyone = Colour Magic Law". By I decided that it would be too confusing to have laws as these laws change everyday. So I gave everyone an All-Mighty Law Card, which means me don't have to abide by those laws. But the other team has to.

Does that make sense?

That's what I was trying to stay. Oh well. That's what the All-Mighty card does. It nullifies any law in effect. But I'll make it that it takes out laws for both sides now.

[U][B][I]Nami no Sono Aoi Getsui (Wave of the Blue Moon)[/I][/B][/U]- Zeth emits a bluish/silver aura, and the symbol of the moon shines brightly on the backs of his hands and his forehead (after performing the move for the first time those marks stay apparent on his flesh). He then acquires great physical speed and strength and launches a flurry of attacks at the opponent.

Ex's:
[B]When weilding a blade-[/B] Zeth's blade glows and he moves at such a high speed that it apears that there are more the one of him attacking at once.
[B]When weilding a bow-[/B] Zeth's bow glows and he jumps from spot t spot very swiftly, firing a barrage of arrows every time he lands.

I also had another idea (sorry if I'm being a bother). Since we are the Crystal Questers and all...maybe we could all have a [I]job class[/I] unique to us. Like, since Dyna is Dyna the Dragon Tamer, she could become a Dragoneer. Like a mixture between a Dragon and a Dragoon, so you'd have abilities form both.

Oh. and I didn't quite like the digs my character was wearing, so, if it's alright with amgoddess, I'd like to changehis outfit. Something like a sleevless vest with a long-sleeved, baggy white shirt underneath and baggy black pants. He still has the bandanna, but also has wristbands with the symbol of the moon on them. Add since I gave my cloak to Dyna in my recent post, I just won't get it back or something. ^__^

I'm really enjoying this RPG, so I'm just brimming with ideas *grins*. ^__^[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Alright...we'll have our basic abilities that we learn. Those who are black mages, they learn more and more magic as they use it more and more, since we have two black mages. One should each pic one element...and work from their developing and coming up with new stuff. For soldiers and dragoons and all...you all know what to do...technigues and whatnot to your hearts desire.

Now as for other ''techniques'' apart from our jobs. Like Zeth...and his attacks as a soldier of the Blue Moon...those will be his ''specials.'' For the other races...you all could come up with your own ''specials as well. Like Altron, you have your flight and your other marble orb to unlock. For soldier and dragoons and all...you can have combos, like from ff7 with Cloud, or ff8 with Squalls limit breaks. And all these limit breaks or specials will grow over time...but not really changing much, just stronger and more flashy:)

As for the crystals, or totems. Whenever we find yours...we can treat it like a summon as in the game. BUt just can't be used frequently. Because of my race as ''the world'' being unique...my limit break and crystal will be one. As explained in my post, the Sacred Fire was a clan that used to worship Quenbryl...my totem. And so their powers derive from that.

For Jobs...hopefully this is a good idea amgoddess. We all chose our final job that we would like to have...this will help prevent mix up when people want to change. As well as preventing any repatition in jobs, so that the story will have more variety:) So from that...we'll build up on our skills...till we ''advance'' where we decide to take on another trade.

Also with weapons...it may get annoying to have to change our weapon everytime we learn a new magic. I mean...i was white mage...and i couldn't do anything with just that on a one on one battle...(tis ok though amgoddess:) i managed). So...i think that our weapon should evolve. Transform so to say...or an attachment becomes part of it like Altrons orbs, or my staff changing.

Well...*sigh*...thats bout it. Hopefully those are some good ideas. And for the record...I choose to be a Summoner to be my final job:) ITS MINE:)

HA! I invented the weapon evolving. Mu-ha.

Anyway, I think your ideas are good, Kairi. For the record, I would like to be a time-mage. And I'm thinking that the marble orb will be something like a time-warp or something, which eases me into the Time Mage job ability. I suppose my element is going to be fire, since I already have a flame-rod. I also intend to purchase a new weapon as soon as I reach the next town.

I hope that people stick with this thing 'til the end. I also wish that a strong plot line would emerge. Right now, we're a group of vagabonds with magical powers. I have no idea what the crystals do, or where the RPG is headed. A slight clue would be nice, amgoddess.

Lol, I'm trying to keep up with Altron so we stay at about the same level but he just keeps jumping ^_^

Though I agree that we should get more of a clue about the purpose of the crystals and the part we play in it.

Heh... sorry about making Shinji learn that fast. I suppose I was over-compensating since you're a member of the "Deadly" clan. I read your sign up, and then I had to edit mine so that your mage didn't eat mine for breakfast.

The result was the "Granada" family name. I made them a line of talented mages as well, which could justify my jumps in skill. I suppose the compensation was a little too much, but I just [i]had[/i] to have him fly. Too cool.

And I noticed that you copied off the mark on the wrist for the clan name, as well as the general look of your staff. The solitary orb mystically hovering the rest of the rod. But no hard feelings! ^.^
All I did was just add in those three other orbs.

And again, I'm supposing the crystals are like ... control of the land or something.

If you don't mind amgoddess...I'll explain what the crystals are.
Originally, in the Final Fantasy Tactics game, Ivalice was only a dream world, set apart from reality. Mewt, a boy who thought up of the world, hated his life in the real world. So in his mind, he created this world...trapping everyone else inside. The crystals were what held the world together, these crystals all had their own guardians, the totems.

The main characters goal in the game was to destroy the crystals so that Ivalice would go back to reality. In his party, he would have his moogles, dragoon etc. etc. in the clan. Before you could destroy the crystal, you would do battle with the guardian, which amgoddess has already assigned names and whatnot to your race. Once the guardian was defeated, the crystal would be destroyed...and the totem would actually help aid the party in one attack. Each totem would aid the individual who represented that particular race which that totems crystal pertained too.

Hopefully that helps out. The problem with my totem is that ''the world'' was actually the final boss in Tactics. The final key which held everything together, Mewts mother. So i'm winging mine because of that...I have some good plans for my character too as well if you'd like me to tell you amgoddess over PM so that no one gets a spoiler:) So yea...thats what the totems are. But since this place is REAL, we're not out to destroy the crystals, but to find them. Which I believe is being done so that we can defeat this evil that is in Ivalice...or any other plot twist that amgoddess has concocked:)

Im glad to hear that you all like the ideas that i came up with in my other entry. I really hope everyone else picks up on it as well. So Shinji wants to be a time mage, sakura a illusionist, me a summoner...please, ,everyone else do the same...and also:)...work on those ''specials'' or limit breaks:)

And yes Altron :D ...I got the idea of a evolving weapon from you;). You didn't necessarily claim your idea:)...or bring it to light..but i do give you credit :laugh:

When you learn 1 of the skills of any class, you may upgrade to the classes above that one. For 1 skill to be learn, you must fight one battle and win.

Also with weapons...it may get annoying to have to change our weapon everytime we learn a new magic. I mean...i was white mage...and i couldn't do anything with just that on a one on one battle...(tis ok though amgoddess i managed). So...i think that our weapon should evolve. Transform so to say...or an attachment becomes part of it like Altrons orbs, or my staff changing.

I agree with kairi, although if two people want the same job, they can share. They'll just have to specialise in something.

The Crystals are an essential part of Ivalice and hold the world together. If ever the Crystals were taken over by evil, Ivalice would be in constant chaos and struggle. The Crystals are there to keep order.

Although I won't let you in on the plot line just yet.
